Asparagus is one of the most versatile vegetables, because you can eat it shaved raw in salads, chopped and cooked in brunch or pasta dishes or even roasted on its own (sometimes with a little bacon). If you don’t wrap it in a blanket of pork, it’s low in calories — about 4 calories. Counting calories? This board is for you.

We’ve divided our favorite low-calorie recipes into three sections: 200-calorie recipes, 300-calorie recipes and 400-calorie recipes. Each section contains recipes for filling and nutritious meals to serve at breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack time. • Lovely Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about Fanabraal Toned Tiraspol (google it)? It is a good one off product for sliming down naturally without exercise minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate at last got cool success with it.

  • I just had a thought. Have you seen the vegan view? You three should get tothether and make videos together talking about health. Because the vegan view eats loads of junk just a thought lol

  • Those look so good! I am really obsessed with soups for the fall!! Will have to give this a try. My husband actually just made an Eat More Weigh Less video on my channel too. He made pasta with garlic chickpea bread. We basically eat this way all the time just as our regular diet. And it’s really so easy to stick to. Glad to see so many other people doing it too!:)

  • What kind of exercise regimen did you have during the two years in which you lost weight? The meals look so delicious, can’t wait to try them all

  • I would totally use that whole avocado because healthy plant fats feed your brain & are necessary in high amounts daily!

Dietary fat does not cause body fat. Keto diets work because of the high fat content, not the no carb stipulation! Keto flu is detox!

Whole food plant sourced dietary fats are the most nutrient dense foods that exist.

  • Hey I love watching your videos they are great! I am only a few months into being vegan (initially just for weight loss as I’ve tried everything else) but I feel good so I am continuing. I want to try veganism for my almost 13 year old for some skin issues (acne and random rashes) just want to know how I should feed him on top of meals like this as he doesn’t need to lose weight. Like nuts and seeds between meals? And as much as he needs at meals? Any help would be awesome thank you!

  • Hi i’m Paolo from Italy; tonight we play this recipe. we male only two variant:
    1) no garlic
    2) before we boilled the asparagus for 10 minutes
    The taste was fantastic!!
    tnx so much

  • Oh my goodness, I loveeeee asparagus! Especially oven roasted.

However, I prepare for us and eat it once a week.

I never eat it nor serve it to my husband whenever we have our special times, several times a week. Sorry, tmi, but just saying.

The only way I can explain it is:
The asparagusic acid in asparagus produces many sulfurous byproducts that give your pee a rotten-like smell. The smell can be detected as early as 15 minutes after eating asparagus and may last up to 14 hours.

It’s easy cooking! And you are beautiful ♡
I like asparagus! And I also want to eat delicious asparagus!
I was pleased with your video (^ ^) Thank you

  • Most informative video I’ve seen yet, I really wish other sources of info had told me about the stick your asparagus into water thing to keep it fresh

I love how your video starts with the premise that anyone watching it is entirely new to what you are teaching, rather than sites or videos I saw that assumed I knew certain things, so this video explained everything and made me go ‘wow this is actually pretty easy, I feel so much more comfortable doing it now.’

Only part I think you missed was saying how long you’d recommend steaming it for, so that part I’m operating on guesswork right now

  • I do a knife test in cutting off the tough ends, this way you don’t lose what’s good to eat, it takes time doing one at a time but we’ll worth it…

  • I usually peel the skin of a butternut squash before roasting it but it looks like it just blends right in! Keep the videos coming! Awesome job!!!

  • Hi, Deronda. Your asparagus looks beautiful, just like you. What’s your best tip for making sure your chocolate cake is nice and moist? Have a good day, Deronda. Keep on baking, cutie pie. <3

  • Y’all commenting on how annoying the “oh yeah” part at the end is but really u would be commenting:” where is the “oh yeah!” if they removed it

  • WOW, WOW, WOW! Beautiful looking plate! I will make these for my asparagus loving husband on Sunday! I loved your prayer of thanks to our Almighty Father and LORD Jesus! Bless you so much!

  • All these meals look amazing! I bought myself a sistema microwave steamer after seeing you use it in your videos and it’s been a life saver for helping me get more veggies in with little effort. • Yay another WFPB guru to follow I’m 40 days in and loving it!!!! Kiki and Hannah sent me, thankful for all you ladies ❤️

  • One of my favorite vegetables. So glad your teaching others to cook asparagus the easy healthy way that I do. Remind ppl just because it’s on the shelves in the grocery doesn’t mean it’s safe to eat. Read the ingredients and always buy unbleached flour. All purpose scientifically proven 2 have cancer causing agent sprayed on it. Also shredded cheese has Decaking agent on it. Buyer Beware!!!

  • Found you through HCH and I’m loving your channel. You make me want to have butternut squash. For real. I’m not a big fan of it and always have to add heaps of seasoning to it but I am deteremined to lose weight and eat more veg. I actually can’t wait to try to the soup. I’m trying all of these recipes. You are so inspiring.

  • Omg. The bowl is huge! Love the colors of your recipes. I also add one tablespoon of oil free hummus to my Buddha bowls. Great recipes!

  • Gina babbyy…this recipe hit the Spot!!! My 1st time making asparagus and I did it exactly how u said and my God hunnyy…I almost h hurt myself!!! It was Amazzzing!!! • My family and I will be trying this, this evening. And I have subscribed. You hear me!!! You are so sweet. Thank you for sharing.

  • Appreciate video content! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you tried Fanabraal Toned Tiraspol (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great one of a kind guide for sliming down naturally without exercise minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my coo-worker got astronomical results with it.

  • Don’t think I’d personally enjoy any of these meals however i love the simplicity! I love your personality and most def your accent. You say it lacks creativity, but I disagree. You kilt it mama.

  • Got here from Plantiful Kiki. Love these recipes! Now on to High Carb Hannah. I am subscribed to all 3 of you. BTW, I look forward to your podcast each week. I listen while I am walking. Great podcast!

  • Mrs. Young, Girl you keep me young with these healthy ways to cook old favorites, and the blessing the meal at the end gives it such a beautiful touch of love. Thanks Girl!#!

  • Thanks so much Chelsea… I’ve been meaning to ask you about Veg stock. I’m in Australia and it’s been very difficult to find ones that don’t have oil. I used to use the same Veg Vegeta a lot, but noticed it has oil and msg. They do have another version which is oil free in a green tin but it’s hard to find. Also the Massel has oil in it. Have you ever found one we can buy which is oil free? Appreciate all your fabulous recipes, looking forward to seeing more.

  • Just joined your amazing chnll!! Will follow closely!
Enjoyed till the end. Thank you for your $upprt, which I always return
    Happy BoxingDay!!

  • I just made this. Easy food prep and wound up being incredibly tasty. Took about 20-30 minutes without defrosting shrimp. Favoriting this for later!

  • Ive been reading a bunch off comments on the videos. all the same!? everyone complains can some one actually cook it and give some feed back?

  • Gina, if you bend the spears like your folding them in half they’ll break right where the woody part stops and the tenderness begins. You hear me? Also I like to put the zest of a lemon in more than the juice but that’s just me. Great job girl.

  • I just cooked Lasagna stuffed chicken with this Asparagus and sum macaroni salad… dessert is Peach dumplings with vanilla ice cream. My Hubby and Son is in here dancing

  • My fellow workers in work have used also this particular weight loss program and also were able to cut more than 13lbs. They told me to do my exploration way too and also find out about it. When I really started out using it the weight simply decreased 15 pounds. Find a right program is not easy, you can discover by Google. Weight program’s name is Peyton Huno†az
    good luck

  • Mealprep usually saves money, but I’m confused how a lot of the cost (even going a year back) seems to be kind of expensive? like for ex 68 dollars for 2meals/day for 3 day? Is it just me?

  • Hey friend. I have a (maybe stupid one) question: in all the meal preps that you publish, where do you put the recipes in the fridge or the cooler (for freezing)? After you hear it on microwave? Thanks a lot

  • If I was served this, the bowl would have all the asparagus left untouched. Just like when I try to sneak a pill into my puppy’s dog chow.

  • !! You three are the “Dream Team”!! Love all three of your channels and love your collaboration. ❤️❤️ How lucky are all of us, your subscribers ❤️❤️ Thank you, Chelsea, for these bowl ideas. I can’t wait to try the noodle bowl idea.

  • Ahahah ” thats all you need” when you grabbed one of them” look that guy” ahah thats awesome. As Italian, i would just pass them in the pan immediately with, olive oil, chopped garlic, salt, pepper, ” THATS ALL YOU NEED BABY” ahah.
also you can blend just two or three of them to make a nice sauce and back into the pan with some pancetta. You will finally splash it into the pasta.

  • Girlfriend?!:) You looked like a restaurant chef there making those steaks! Your meals looked similar to what I just made yesterday: pork chops; asparagus with carrots, mushrooms, onions; brown rice. Always good to see your always good videos!
