  • I can accept if u put past cooling while preparing sauce.What I don’t understand is why not mixing and warming up both pasta and sauce TOGETHER later! If u forget pasta and then, after several minutes, just add sauce to cover it up, u’ll never be able to thicken the dish.

  • Remarks from a Swiss citizen: first of all our cheeses are not pasteurised, ever. Second, it is made of milk, salt and starter culture, period. Third, what you call Swiss cheese is an American made pale imitation of Emmenthaler, the only cheese with big holes in it and in my opinion the one with the least taste. Now Gruyère has no holes, comes in lightly salted, medium and salted and can be aged anywhere from 6 to 24 months. If you can get your hands on the mature one, you will think that you have died and gone to cheese heaven, it is that fabulous.

  • The REAL Swiss cheese (Emmenthaler ) is totally superior to the American Swiss. It almost cannot be compared. It is aged much longer and has more holes and tastes fabulous. I eat very low carb, so as a treat I take a slice if Swiss, cover it with cream cheese (yes, really) and sprinkle it with onion powder! So good and no carbs.

  • I am Persian also so I know the real way to make salad shirazi: don’t put celery in it an instead of fresh herbs only put in dried mint it tastes amazing!

  • you CAN NOT eat chia seeds raw. it can make you go to the hospital. they absorve a lot of water so if you eat and drink it can lead to serious damage in your stomach/esophagus..

Needed this����i just purchase the second attempt towards my cheese addiction����and the only cheese i previously know is blue cheese but then i remember the best cheese i tried and i am trying to taste it back and previous day i get the tasty one at supermarket and it looks like brie yes, indeed it is real milky with a smooth and creamy texture on it. However it might be processed like what you mention. So i purchase the feta cheese cause i think it taste good normally for white cheese and i saw feta is make from goat or sheep so i choose that and yea, the only bad side of feta is salty for me but it is real tasty and got me addicted. Mozeralla is best as well but i cannot eat it straight from the bag that is my concern☹

  • Typical Moroccan salad and I lived in Morocco for a number of years the only difference is we use parsley and cilantro I call it coriander and no mint. Morocco is a huge Olive Nation for the rest of the world.

  • Blue Cheese is great unless you’re like me, and am Gluten intolerable… its an awful thing to suddenly be told at 45yrs you’ve had this thing all your life and now its why you have so many problems to solve.

  • Nobody ever talks about blood type and dairy. I think it’s a HUGE piece to the nutritional puzzle. Type B does well with dairy (the only blood group that really does well with it). Others do not and it should only be consumed at a bare minimum.

    Shown is Emmentaler but there are hundreds of varieties that do not have the holes Emmentaler has.

  • If you buy real Gorgonzola (only from italy) it is not processed at all. It is impossible it is against the Italian law. And it comes only from certain zones. The same for Brie. I don’t know what kind of cheeses you have in US but they are probably fake ones.

  • You absolutely Do Not need the oil in the pasta water and/or the sauteed veggies. The pasta will boil just fine without it, just stir it a couple of times while cooking to avoid sticking. You can saute just fine with a non-stick pan and a bit of liquid. Save yourself the 40 calories per teaspoon and the 100% FAT grams.

  • People commenting here are so stupid lol. They dont know anything about nutrition but cry when they see pasta ��‍♀️ You can eat rice, pasta and fat when ever you want! Even Candys…but thats not healthy anymore. But to loose weight you juste have to have a calorie defficite ��‍♀️ so if you eat 1000kcl of pasta its the same than 1000kcl of salaf lol.

  • there’s literally no point adding oil to the pasta water since you let it sit afterwards anyway. save that extra 40kcal on something else.(like adding a side of a chopped tomato and some lettuce with a spritz of lemon juice on the side), and add some water to your sauce, reheat spaghetti in it, so it will absorb all the flavour. much better option:)

    in the second meal -if you substitute chickpeas for green lentils.. you’d probably be able to eat like 200g of lentils before you hit the same calorific benchmark as that amount of chickpeas.

  • I’m super picky. For the last two meals, would chicken be okay instead of turkey and tuna? I could probably do the turkey but not the tuna. We use almost all of the base ingredients to these meals regularly, so, I was excited about that. There would be two of us eating, so, we would double this recipe correct? Thanks.
