  • Hearty to me means potatoes, cream and some sort of sausage/meat. Don’t get me wrong, veggie soups are awesome, just not really ‘hearty’.

  • Try replacing white flour with almond flour,oat or any other type of flour
    You can also replace white and brown sugar with coconut sugar,agave or maple syrup or just honey

  • xanam gum isn’t bad it’s used to help bind ingredients and thicken stuff, usually used in gluten free baking, you can buy it at a super market.

  • Honestly I wouldn’t make this. Just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean it’s healthier and she said 1/3 cup of sugar but put 1 cup of sugar in it???
    My advice would be
    Stop eating snacks, dessert, drinking soda, or other drink with sugar in it
    have one cheat day a week, where you can eat/drink 1 “dessert”
    when you make cake, try making a small cake, like mini cake. And share it with your family, even though it’s so small. + You can decorate the mini cake with a lot of frosting, cause it’s so small it almost doesn’t matter

  • Trees are often cut down unsustainably to make almond milk. Also, coconut oil is high in saturated fat and too much of it can cause heart issues. Try and find out where your almond milk is from and limit your coconut oil intake.

    Edit: not being able to pronounce something doesn’t mean it’s bad bananas have hundreds of ‘ingredients’ and many that are hard to pronounce. Vegan doesn’t always mean healthy. Pure sugar is vegan. Not hating just saying that you should do research.

  • Coconut oil has more saturated fat than most other options out there! Just because it’s made from coconut does NOT mean it’s healthier!!!

    You could’ve used brown sugar or honey or granulated stevia… White sugar is literally poison.
    Also, vegan doesn’t mean healthy, it only means that you didn’t use animal products.
