  • Wow! Superb! Tried out all the seven one pot meals. They turned out fabulous. Thanks for making such exotic dishes so simple!

  • Loved this take on Indian food! You are right, most people only see the oily fried varieties of Indian food. But our cuisine consists of so many nutritious, flavorful and healthy dishes. Thanks so much for highlighting this in your video!

  • I am a filippina living in Italy. I can’t follow this cooking regimen because they are not readily available. Unfortunately…….

  • THANKS FOR SEVEN HEAVENS DURING THESE HELL, HELLISTIC DAYS. FAST AND PERFECT. ENJOYED THE BACKGROUND MUSIC AS WELL. KEEP IT UP. STAY SAFE. STAY BLESSED. WILL PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

  • Everything is good to see night rice???, never mix palak and tomato. Greeleafy vegetable at night is not ok please do refer in Google.

  • i think there is a hella big difference between yogurt abd curd!
Also India is known for it’s street food so it is obviously more than 7!
Please don’t just forget India, it also has numerical different and yet healthy also VEG food!

  • I am not sure who and which kind of people say it’s unhealthy..as far as our food we make at home..it’s the most healthy..and also becos u don’t feel tempted much for other food as it’s so tasty even when vegan…

As far as what she is suggesting people assume….well people assume a lot of things…

And for that matter any cuisine, if served out side in a restaurant…always is nnot as healthy home made…as they have to add frills..to attract…and most Indian restaurants only sell north Indian based robust oily meat cuisine…but Indian food is far from what is served at restaurants and much healthier….

And There is so much variety. Delicious variety

  • South Indian cuisine has always had healthy options little or no use of cream, excess ghee, the use of paneer etc which is found in North Indian food. Cooking in coconut oil is healthy though just don’t use tonnes of it. A bit of pure cow ghee is good for the skin and overall body but again it’s all about moderation. There is so much written in Ayurveda and these days turmeric latte, moringa powder, cold pressed coconut oil etc all get in the limelight as health foods. People should give more importance to the fact that Long before modern day people discovered about these health foods the Indians already knew and imparted about it. Due credit needs to be given instead of culturally appropriating something for one’s personal gains

  • I like you…. i am bangladeshi. If you shows our food in a healthy way, that also could be helpful for us…. still i like your tips. Hopefully it will work for me.

  • This was pathetic….. indian food does not include just this‍♀️……u make a lot of videos abt London nd US nd all other European countries…..but ur videos abt India r not upto the mark nd show nothing abt the cultural foods of India which Includes both North,East, West nd South nd every other part of India…..

  • I haven’t eaten chhole roll, tandoori momos, chocolate caramel di barfi and ice paan….I have eaten Dahi Vada but my mom doesn’t toss it in air …I’ll never try paan but definitely eat other 3 and Tandoori momos on top in the list….I just wish to eat chilly momos….when this lockdown will end the 1st thing on my menu will be chilly veg momos

  • Anyone tried the Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google)? I have heard many awesome things about this popular weight loss system.

  • Spice should be added at the end for flavour if u fry 1st they get burnt, onion should be fried 1st it enhances the flavour of the curry

  • I have an advice for westerners. Please don’t bother eating any of these in India as there is a high likelihood of getting food poisoning and digestive problems. Sincere advice is, go to a 5 star hotel and have these dishes. Its almost the same taste but it’s surely a safe way to be in your travels. Or if you have a friend ask them to suggest safe places.

  • Nin Amman where is idli, dosa, sambar, chutney, vada, bonda, appam, bisibelebath, rasam rice, puliyogare, paddu, bhajji, uttapam, pongal, upma, payasam, Biryani, masala puri, nippat masala filter coffee…

  • Fun fact: Sambar isn’t South Indian it was when Shivaji told the cook that the food that he gave was too plain and said to make something else then the chef made a curry now know as sambar he named it sambar after shivajis son sambhaji

  • Hi gunjan. Can you please do one thingin YouTube there is an option where we can exactly go to all the parts of the video where a new recipe starts. Fit tuber does it as well. • Anyone tested out the Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google)? We’ve noticed numerous amazing things about this popular lose weight methods.

  • Dairy cream can be replaced with homemade almond milk or homemade almond cream. No cholesterol. And yes, non fat yogurt for sure. I also prepare dosa or idli with little rice and rest all different types of lentils like urad dal, musoor and moong dal to increase the protein content (different from conventional batter). During grinding adding ginger and green chilly adds taste.

  • I completely agree.. I love Indian food and i cook it in a healthy way and tastes as good as or better than unhealthy way of eating.. Thanks to my mum who never used to add oil like other people that I know used to do. I use even less oil and mostly no oil if I have to lose quick

  • These are only some Street foods which are hyped about by the travellers who travel to India, the real gem is still under the cover

Btw, which area of Mumbai do you live in? Please reply

  • Guys, build muscle does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Look for a diet plan called Custokebon Secrets. Seriously, that program has changed my life. I probably shouldn’t even be talking about it cause I do not want a bunch of other folks out there running the same “game” but whatever, I am just in a great mood today so I’ll share the wealth haha.

  • Any random person have started giving plans out without understanding the body of that individual such has become the weight loss industry more weight focussed and less health focussed

  • Never ever eat so less. Anyone is able to provide “meal plans” cos they have access to social media. 900 calories per day is dangerous and extremely unhealthy. Utterly stupid.

  • Nisha, I love each and every recipe of your. Although I would like to see you in person, I know it’s not possible. It’s a wrong time to travel any part of the world right now. Anyway I can’t thank you enough for each and every healthy recipe. I’m a vegetarian. I love all of your roties Thoshas (we call Thoshi) chutneys and pickles. I wish I could be your neighbor. I’m a health nut. I want to make all kinds of your roties and Dals. Thank you so so sooooo much for all your healthy recipes. I’m in Canada. Where do you live Nisha? When you come to Canada please visit me. Thank you.

  • This is not for weight loss.. so much mayo? So much oil in parathas? Thick curd and that much white rice like loads of fats and carbs seriously? This video is a joke

  • Honestly I liked this video. But one needs to understand that weight loss is not something that happend over night. It takes time. And 900 cal is way too less for a healthy person.

  • these foods mentioned here are found in almost every street in India and by the way this just the beginning if yo want to taste all of the Indian foods stay in India for a week

  • Love your videos! Just one constructive criticism about this one would be better if you used standard cup measurements rather than “katori” so your recipes are more objective and fool-proof. Thanks again for your great tips and recipes.

  • Thanks yaar….even I cook many varieties still sometimes stuck what to do….???especially without onion n garlic….an helpful lunch video…..❤❤❤❤

  • What do you think of lost a ton of fat using Custokebon Secrets? I notice a lot of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets.

  • I’ve tried using every single fat burner guideline and also this fat loss weight is the one that works for me combined with their goods to reduce fat. Also I am not consuming much as I was previously, I still do not feel jittery or sense a crash Ever since applying the tactics stipulated in this program, I lost 15 lbs already. Google can help you to research it. weight’s name is at the bottom.
    Bella Kaγozko
    good luck

  • It’s awesome, I really thk u from deep of my heart

Since m prep for an exam, which needs long sits, n for depression etc I only hv one budy, dts tasty food, boosts my energy

Please continue making more such indian-oriented content and videos.

Videos based specially on indian cuisine and how to make it healthier…will make it much more easy for all of your thousands of indian fans to follow your creative ideas. Thanks for the effort!

  • Very nice ideas to cook with out garlic and onions..
Just one concern, if your steel pan. You r using is light weight, plz be careful while handling as if you live it unwatched with oil in it can catch fire as it will get very much heated.. If it’s heavy weighted than it’s fine… I just felt it’s light kadai, so mentioned it..
    I liked ur video

  • Shweta absolutely pot fulfilling items. Same way can you make a vlog on drinks as well like juices, tea or coffee or thickshake as well please.

  • It’s certainly not quick and easy to make all these you suggested why don’t u say how long it takes to prep before cooking. Cutting veggies takes time.

  • Your research on Indian foods is incomplete ma’am. Indian dishes which you eat in your country in an Indian restaurant its not all about Indian cuisine. The Indian meal which we vegetarians consume on a daily basis is completely healthy & mostly are vegan meals(full of all needed nutrients). There are lots of Indian dishes which a health conscious person can have it as it is, without making any changes while making it.

  • This is the first video im watching n im just happy that ua really sweet spoken n tasty dishes.. I couldnt wait just subscribed ua channel love all the thalis

  • Yes, I too am guilty of jumping through weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I need to have tested every weight loss method that was available, but in the end not one of them helped me to lose and keep the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time using the Custokebon Secrets simply because my cousin who told me incredible things about it and so far to date I’ve successfully lost 18 lbs in 4 weeks!

  • Instead of masalas I mix Oreganos in a macaroni . It’s yummy
Please do make a western snacks recipe video, like sandwiches, wedges, french fries, garlic bread etc

  • I dont think even an indian fitness expert would be so bang on with identifying the right way to make healthy indian recipes as you did in this video. Really really commendable!! Few of these recipes reminded me of the improvisation my sister does with oats/millets to make them healthy and tasty at the same time:-) Thanks a lot Joanna!!

  • Hi mam.i have been following ur vdos recently for weight loss recipes.
The dal shown for dinner is a dangerous combination of Palak and Tomato which has high chances of forming stones in the kidneys. Please correct me if i am wrong.

  • hey my sweetheart friend yes restaurents serve high calorie n nutritionless food… but opposite is the home cooked food.. its hygenic full of nutrition.indian food science is very deep n to study it takes more than a lifetime because what we are is because of our food..today people dont care about nutrition but calories…n are slaves to these junk foods… n hit the restaurants… n gain weight n cry about weight gain… home cooked meal is best specially cooked by mother

  • Hi gunjan mam… I am ur new subscriber… Mam plz tell me if we are taking Green tea can we add sugarlose in it(artificial sweeteners)?? Plz mam reply

  • Preparing healthy dish then don’t use lsft over or stale tood over night cooked, as it’s unhealthy…freshly cooked is better and cook quantity required..

  • Mam the gluten information was wonderful i came across your video and i am very thankful for so much knowledge living in a country like India where we literally have grinding shops in every corner will surely get my own atta made next time i wont have a place to dry whole wheat after soaking but can I directly purchase the whole wheat and get it grind thank you again subscribing you right away

  • After watching this I immediately subscribed your channel… u actually shout Gunjan but m in love with you.. keep growing stay blessed..

  • Show me please how to do DOSAS something like that and lentis, I really love indian food but I don’t know how to do it please

  • Potato always bad choice to reduce weight and what about oil or ghee that use optimum you use i think you don’t known 11gm of fat contain 100 kcal. Bad choices

  • 2 millet uthapam
    Curry leaves chutney
    Pickle

    1 aloo roti
    Curd cucumber slices
Green chilies coriander pink salt jeera powder ajwain garam masala turmeric black pepper whole wheat flour
    Desi ghee

    Evening snack fruit

Dinner palak dal rice and pickle
    Moong dal yellow

  • First of all do not compare restaurant and home cook food. Especially in the silly mamak/India stalls or restaurant in Msia and spore. It’s totally crap. Indians from India won’t even go there unless there is the last ever resort. As usual ppl are super ignorent as usual I don’t even want to write anything anymore here.

  • All recepies look yumm.. But not all r weightloss friendly except curd rice and Khichadi.. All others have ingredients like corn flour, maida, lots of ghee and oil which will not at all help in weight loss

  • Don’t experiment with spices at first, it can be really disappointing. Follow some good recipes religiously and later go creative.

  • This channel is really special♡♡
I can see what an Indian woman eats all week even I’m in Korea!!!
    I should subscribe unconditionally.
    It perfectly solves my curiosity.

  • You didnt include
    Vadapav

    Panipuri aka golgappe
    Paneer tikka
    Masala dosa

    Chowmein
    Ice Gola
These are the most important and well known street foods in

  • It’s still shock me just how a lot of people don’t know about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search) although many people lost tons of weight with it. Thanks to my personal friend who told me about it. I have lost a ton of fat.
