  • I am 69. Recently, i carried out a blood lipid test. Total cholestrol, HDL, LDL and cholestro ratio are normal. However, my triglicerides reading is high. Everyday, i brisk walk for half an hour follow by another half hour of using those exercise equipment for elders at the park.   • I quit sugar and my blood pressure got normal, We had to stop high blood pressure med. My cholesterol and triglycerides went from high to normal also. Sex was better. Then I relapsed and slowly got on hooked on sugar again and back on high blood pressure med.

  • Xylitol and erythrytol are not chemical sweeteners they’re also derived from plants. Xylitol is from birch juice and Erythrytol from fruits, mostly raspberries…. The only health problem with them is possibility to cause stomach pain in large quantities. I also don’t see why not to buy cheaper stevia drops with glycerin in it or inulin, which is extremely healthy for gut bacteria… Plus the one’s without fillers are simply not available in some countries and monk fruit is not possible to be found anywhere in Middle-eastern Europe for example.

  • Did you chew a sugar free gum that doesn’t have the a pertained in it and instead it has something like xylitol in it then that helps to reduce sugar cravings. Also, I personally have cut sugar out completely even the sugars found in fruit the cravings went away. They were no longer there. I was eating a diet high in good fats, low carbs, and moderate protein. The diet is called the keto genie diet and it is very helpful. Keto genie diet is helpful for those who have type 2 diabetes to loose weight and be healthy. Believe it or not but if your no longer eating sugar you stop craving sugars.   • I made the blueberry smoothe bowl and ut looked the exact same except i’m on a diet so I couldn’t add the chocolates in but, i replaced it with strawberries and it tasted so good. I am that person tho who has not evolved to being able to drink tea without a sweetener, specifically table sugar; I really don’t see how people do it, lol. I have adjusted the amount of sugar I use but I have to sweeten it and coconut sugar, agave and honey and drinking it plain doesn’t do the trick. Any suggestions? As a Brazilian, and having Portuguese as my mother tongue, let me suggest you to use the “Ç” when writing AÇAÍ (the correct way to write it). So that people could understand why it is pronounced with an “s” sound.:)

  • Outstanding video! I can tell you that if you don’t think you are addicted to sugar, quit cold turkey for a week. The withdrawals are severe. But they don’t last. Also a person has way more energy without caffeine and sugar. It seems counterintuitive but coffee and sugar stimulate dopamine which makes someone tired, relaxed, dull, disinterested and unmotivated. When I used to drink coffee and eat sugar, my energy was always low, and it could spike up, but that was followed by a crash. Without coffee and sugar, my energy is at a good stable 7-8 all day, and I fall right to sleep. I used to be groggy in the midday around lunch, but not anymore.

I have to be very careful with sugar consumption for medical reasons so I appreciated these tips and wanted to share some of my own… 1) That frozen riced cauliflower tip not only works in smoothies, but also “nice” cream! 2) When I do indulge in a higher sugar fruit like a date, I pair it with nuts/nut butter so I don’t feel the effects quite so dramatically 3) Drinking tea was a great suggestion! My husband and I both love Teeccino herbal coffee alternative. We find the flavor profile of Teeccino really satisfying.

  • Sorry but this is so stupid and such a waste of plastic. Just have some frozen fruit, seperated, it literally takes 30 seconds to go to the freezer with your juicer jar and open the individual bags and throw in what you need, then throw in your flaxeed, or chia on top. It maybe takes 1 minute longer than prepping this and you waste so much plastic

  • Hmpf! I work out VERY regularly daily bike riding, low-impact aerobics, etc…. everyday! And my triglycerides are at 209. It’s all about exercise AND a specific diet, not just exercise! This month Feb 4 2020 went for test blood and my triglycerides are still with me,this time i successful bring it down to 503.I am going to gym 2-3times a week and go jogging outside on good weather for couple miles.My foo regime is nothing special, no sweet drinks,sometimes couple beer,not too much processed foods or fast food.
