  • Personally when I was trying to lose weight fast (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS) I would do intense workouts everyday, and do one meal a day (eating every 23 hours) but my meal was ALWAYS UNDER 500 CALORIES and had to be 100% healthy. Doing this I lost 8 pounds in 4 days, and it just kept going down down down. once again I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS, ITS VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE BODY because the body isn’t meant to consume that small amount of calories throughout the day let alone fasting and eating only one hour a day. it’s basically putting body into starvation mode

  • My mum and I did this diet for about 6 months and we reached our goal. I started at 120kg and my mum started at around 145kg, the first couple of days were hard and I have to admit I did cheat a couple of times�� but I lost 7kgs in only a week and a half, my mum lost 10kg. I now weigh 69kg! I tried to lose a few more but I’m 6ft and it’s harder to do so. My mum and I have never felt so alive before and active. I definitely recommend this diet.

  • I’m going on a 500-calorie diet and have lost 3kgs in 5 days. It is hard for me because my body is used to consume 2000/more calories a day. I felt very weak & almost fainted multiple times. I started at 65kg and will stop when I reach 60kg. My next plan is OMAD (one meal a day), I hope this plan is better for me ��

    Update: I am currently 54kg and my goal is 50kg. For the past 3 months, I have not been able to go on a “strict diet” but instead, I do intermittent fasting. I have 4 hours to eat (usually 1pm-5pm) and fast until the next day. I don’t eat “healthy” food or any of those. I just eat whatever I want with reduced portions. Tip: don’t stress about the numbers! Remember that reducing too much calories won’t make u lose weight in long-term. Your “diet” should be bearable for you.

  • As someone who has went through eating disorder and anorexia before I must say this is NOT safe, never eat under 800 calories a day, I’m watching this cuz It is in my recommended feed, I’m warning you guys dont try this at all
    Edit))) the reason is cuz when I had an eating disorder I was eating 600 calories a day, I was always cold, my fingers were blue and I could barely stay awake, I was dizzy and tired all the time, my stomach would growl every 5 minutes and I couldn’t even poop, my heart rate was at 45 beats per minute which is life fatal, but I didn’t care, I kept it going for a long time, your body burns around 1000 calories a day by metabolisms, drinking lots of water, walking, even moving your fingers, chewing gum, etc….., so eating 200-500 calories below that, isn’t healthy, you’re body needs fuel to do stuff, and that way is eating regularly, if you want to go on a diet and lose weight, you can eat around 800-1100 calories, you will lose weight faster eating that much than eating 700 or less, you need food to boost your metabolism, dont think of starving yourself, I talk to much, bye, btw 6kg and that before and after picture in 3 days is bullshit

  • Update with my weight: After eating back normally I gained back almost 3.5 kgs. because most of the weight I lost was water weight I guess and I was eating too little calories during the diet, but I kept off the rest of the weight I lost even after the holiday ��

  • Just to let you know that the weight you lost wouldn’t have just been fat it would mainly have been water weight and maybe a lil bit of fat and muscle too.. idk but there is a high chance that you probs gained the weight back over time and also if you wanted to lose weight fast like this you should have tried intermittent fasting rather than lowering ur calories as studies have shown it’s better to fast and let your body use the energy from ur fat storage rather than give it a lil bit of food to survive on for the day… plz who ever is reading this educate urselves on calorie deficits and healthily losing weight rather than looking for fast ways to lose a lil bit of water weight… this is very damaging to ur mental health along with ur physical health.

  • I think what people have to understand is that 500 calories a day is NOT starving yourself, unless if you were eating around 2500 calories a day or so. For me, I was eating around 900-950 calories when I’m not on a diet and if I was not eating junk food (you shouldn’t be eating them too much either ways), and 500 calories a day was complately okay for me. Just find out your calorie intake on a daily bases and cut out your calories carefully, check and if you feel hungry, stop there, and eat more, to the point you do not feel hungry. This is important. the amount of the calories you are intaking should keep you feel full, and not hungry at all. Just not stuffed.

  • Well…I started this diet and this is my 3rd day. That was before seeing this video. I eat a coffee in the morning around 6:00 am.   • I was on my way to find a workout video and came across this video. Lemme tell you a lil secret: eating less calories is doing more bad things to your body than good, even if you may think otherwise and here’s why.
    Depending on your height and weight, your body needs a certain amount of calories to mantain its shape, lose some weight, and so on. Eating only 500 calories a day is not only going to slow your metabolism, but will also make you more tired, cranky, and result in the possibility of binge eating.
    If you make time to exercise like walking, swimming, running, cardio, hiit, and even going to the gym or staying at home, your body will respond in a healthy way. You will not only think you look better, but you will feel better.
    Moral of the story is that cutting calories is not a good idea, and that if you feel the need to eat something because you crave it go and eat it!!

  • I did it! I thought staying home and NO gym I’d probably overeat and not burn calories… It’s been over a month and I can’t believe it, I lost weight??? How, I don’t know for sure. Here’s my guess. Except for work no other physical activity, I felt less hungry, some days I didn’t feel the hunger. My body was so used to the gym, socializing, coming home from gym I felt hungry. But I burned the calories so naturally I ate. Must admit kept lean and ripped but I couldn’t get the leanness I wanted, though I got stronger and more buff. Now throw in Covid-19… Staying home, sitting on my ass for long periods of time watching Paul Revelia videos�� My body went into shock. the result no hunger, no desire to eat. Maybe depression helped? at any rate the results…I’m 6′ 1″ @ 155 lbs and that’s what it took for me to get six pack, veins on my arms and the fashion model look I want. I don’t know much about muscle or being jacked BUT as far as ripped and shredded is concerned it ain’t easy and one will have to get much leaner than one thinks, much leaner.   • If you start eating normally after this you will gain it all back. This is not sustainable and healthy. I was in a period where I barely ate and in the first few days I lost 10 pounds. But after eating normally again I gained it all back plus more since I restricted myself so much I binged. Most people need at least 1200 for it to be healthy.     DAILY TOTAL: 319 calories + skateboarding for 20-30 minutes. Idk how much this burned though.

  • Great video!! But have a suggestion maybe change the music to something lighter. What I mean is a softer tune because this type of music doesn’t really match up with the video but this is just my opinion. Keep it up!!!     I started intermittent fasting and on 600-850 kcal per day diet for 10days now. There was a day in between where I had “cheat meal” (1600kcal). I also have started working out. So far I’ve lost 9lbs. For some reason, I don’t really feel the urge to eat more and I feel normal, if anything I have more energy.

    My recommended kcal is 1200, so im on a daily deficit so I wonder if this is healthy at all, am I undereating? Should i eat more, even if I’m not hungry?

I’m 46 stay at home mom I work out about 3 times a week (kickboxing or bootcamp type workout) most online calculators put me in the 1100-1200 range and on that I’m lucky to loose 3-4 lbs a month.   • I have such a good lifestyle i only eat when i am hungry however i only eat between 250-500 calories, which isn’t healthy and i am not promoting anyone to get into this habit however its been a habit for three years and i live a normal happy life. i personally wouldn’t advise to go out of your way to eat only 250-500 calories a day its just became a habit of mine because i didn’t make enough time to eat and other reason’s but i wouldn’t change my calorie intake because my body now isn’t able to eat more than 500 calories.

  • I’m currently at 2000 calories per day, I’m a man, 43 years old, 195 pounds 10%, lots of muscle on me. Train 2hr per day, 30 minutes high speed cardio on my bike and 1hr 30 minutes incline walk on my treadmill everyday. Want to go down at 7% bf in 8 weeks. I can tell you at 2000 calories I can feel the lack of energy but I need to stick on my goals till the gym open so I can bulk to 210 pounds

  • Hey Paul. Hope you’re doing great! I am currently on a 600cal cut from my total & OMAD basically don’t want to make this too long. For a year I ate less than 1200 cal daily. But if I go over maintenance of 2,400cal then I gain fat easily gaining fat easily is a blessing bc I don’t need to eat as much to thrive & survive. Do u think I damaged my metabolism?   • i stopped eating and drinking, even water I didn’t allow myself to have. the longest I went without food or water was over 55hours and when I did eat it was only up to 500cals. my mum began to ask if I had eaten at school and I would lie but she clocked on and one day she got home asked if I ate or drank I said no she shouted at me and forced me to drink water but I took it to my room left it on my bedside table and slept. I got to the point we’re 600cals we’re too much and was disgusting if you at that or more. i lost 15kg in 4 months doing this. still by March I ate only up to 500cals but this time everyday and I allowed myself water. i was so convinced this was the best for me and I craved and loved the number on the scale every morning as it decreased by 0.8kg every day it became very obsessive i stepped on the scale 4 times a day everyday and it became my life. right now i eat up to 1,200cals but I am getting better and I am trying to loose weight, I still do get scared if I eat 1,500cals because I see it as “too much” and eventhough I know it’s not it’s just hard psychologically. I’ve never been diagnosed with an ED because I’ve never seen anyone about it and I still do excessively step on the scale but I am getting better��

  • Guys if your watching this video and thinking about eating only 500 calories or less a day PLEASE DON’T!!! I did this a few years back and i lost 35 pounds in 3 months. But once I reached that 3 month mark I became physically weak, my hair started shedding like crazyyyyy (I thought I was going bald) turns out my hair was falling out because of the low amount of calories I was eating. My hair legit shed for 6 months straight. It was so thin afterwards (google telogen effluvium it’s what happens after losing a huge amount of weight too quickly due to eating a low calorie diet for an extended period of time.) I allowed myself one cheat day when I was on this diet and I would go crazy with food until I felt physically sick. This was the start of a binge eating disorder that I still deal with til this day, 3 years later. A 500 calorie diet is NOT sustainable. Also the moment you go back to eating normal you will gain all the weight back plus more.

  • Eat more frequently, but only handful portions…example every 2 hours,…SMALL portions….1 meat per day, TONS of vegetables and little fruits, breads, starches….you have to have the benefits from food to look and feel healthy.. Drink half your body weight of water daily. Drink green hot teas instead of coffee. And fast 18-6 or 24-3 occasionally to detox..don’t torture yourself lovely people..you ar beautiful and its possible to “feel” beautiful too..go slow..be kind to yourself

I was hospital until a few months ago and I am still recover. My calorie intake was 500 calories at most. my hair was fall out, I had to wear wigs, I constantly passed out and broke my arm and hip due to falling, doctor estimate I only had month left to live, I could not walk for long my leg very weak,I had bad hallucination and thought going crazy a lot. starvation is not a joke. it’s extremely dangerous and I am lUcky to still be alive. please think of consequences and try healthy way. it will take more time but it is worth wait. you won’t have a perfect body if you are dead

  • So I did this for 6 months back in high school. I actually lost a total of 40lbs. But I couldn’t lift 5lbs at the gym and I would always have spotty vision and very slow with movement. my body was not proportional having very slender arms and thighs with no butt and a fatskinny belly. I also always experienced black outs, but at the same time I actually barely slept at night. And when I hit 135lbs that’s when I hit that wall and my body did not allow me to lose anymore weight. Then around summer of senior year I discovered weight training, I lifted for 5-6 months, I noticed then that I had flatter belly. Extra thick thighs and a bigger butt? I never noticed until ppl would make comments about it. I was siZe small on my tops and large at bottoms and I was squatting 205lbs easy on my regular workouts sessions for like 2-3hrs ( depending if I did cardio that day too). And I gained all that weight back actually and now, I am 195lbs. after working out so much and developing that high metabolism of constantly burning energy, I ate a lot, but the weight never caught up. But then I developed depression from a toxic relationship (my body was changing and it caused insecurities in that relationship) so I cut down even, thankfully. we broke up eventually but at this point I was already gaining fat weight. And 3 months later following that, i stopped going to the gym completely, I was even more depressed from my father dying. I then ate my life away after graduation. Im 21 now And I am going back to resistance training tomorrow and eating 1,200 cal a day to see how my body will be on Nov. 20,20. I miss the feeling of peacefulness and calmness in all aspects; mentally, emotionally, and physically after a good workout. and Before he passed away that last time I saw him. I promised him that I’d surprise him again with a healthy physique. I never got to it and was on lalaland for a while and in denial of my weight and eating disorders from not eating to fasting and forcing my self to vomit. My dad wud be happy that I am in a much better place. Realizing my mistakes and making an official change for an over all healthier lifestyle

    900-1000 cals tops probably the best, I was there for two months and i can do because I’m short small asian guy, my metabolic rate is not as high as you people and STILL cant maintain it.
    now i’m around 1200-1400 and i think that’s the best rate for me.

  • i eat 300 cal a day, and have one 36hr fast each week. have done since i developed anorexia/bulimia at 13. there are a few blips where i ate more as i was forced to in hospital, but apart from that i have always stuck at 300cal a day. it takes me twice as long to shave my body because of the extra air, twice as long to study because my brain is malnutritioned, and i have to crack eggs and massage aloe vera into my hair to reduce the thinning and falling out… dont recommend…

  • I’ve been eating 400-1000 calories a day for 2 months now and do daily exercise. I lost 10kg and don’t feel weak. Tho I get more dizzier when I stand up. I wanted to lose weight.   • You probably haven’t been eating 500 calories then. Don’t want to sound rude, but you saying your body hasn’t changed is simply impossible. Weight loss is not more than mathematics. If you consume less (you consumed WAY less), than your body is burning, you lose weight. The starvation mode may slow down your metabolism but it won’t stop you completely from losing weight. Especially in one month. You should have lost at least 3-5kg. Edit: I published a video on diet myths on my channel starvation mode is one of them.

  • since this was posted a year ago i have no clue who will see this. i have been anorexic and bulimic. it is not a quality way to live. it can also end in a slow starvation to death. you can permanently damage your body by starving yourself. you can loose your periods and become infertile. so please, if you are going to loose weight do it healthily.

  • i tried it for 7 days and i lost 2,5kg. i think most of it was just water, but if you want to, i can keep an update every week. btw, i’m 1,63, so i’m a little bit overweight. my goal is 58 kg, so i can be an normal weight.:)
