  • I find eating too much raw veggies too time consuming and tough to chew especially only having quarter of an hour breaktime at work.

  • For anybody who has made the egg salad, can you taste the tofu? Like I’m talking about the undertones of tofu in a dish even after seasonings and other flavors are added.

  • Thank you so much for these amazing lunch ideas! I’ll be going back to school this Monday so this is so helpful, I was just looking for videos like this. Now I’ll have the best lunch in the whole school!:D

  • I’m trying to incorporate more plant-based meals into my diet and I love love LOVE these recipes! I will definitely try them out soon!

  • The tofu egg sandwich is absolutly AMAZINNNNNGGG. Letting it rests 30 mins in the fridge defenetly makes the difference. It actually tastes like eggs, love the recipe!!!!!

  • I tried the chicken sandwich and that was really good but I was blown away by the egg salad you would never know it was vegan!!!!!! So good!

  • Another great vid Zach, thanks again for these! (Also, I know many other subscribers, love the description information you provide in the drop down box)!

  • You really should write a cookbook. Your recipes are easy to follow and beautiful to look at. I love watching your videos you are a muneca!

  • Sweet Love, it’s been a journey, it is a journey, Being Vegan. Love & I cut out meat some time ago, but I am always, thus far, typically afraid of the kitchen-with me primarily in it. Lol. However, growing and taking purpose in Life, I’m learning and accepting how to Be.

Saying all this to say, I went to the farmers market last weekend and shopped for the ingredients of your 3 suggested sandwiches.
I made the tofo salad sandwich once, months ago (SO DELICIOUS, Love enjoyed as well! [thank you!])
This week, I’ve made both. Tonight I am making the 3rd one, the sweet potato.
    Candice, Thank You!

Everytime I get the courage to create one of your dishes I am, my belly, tastebuds, body, and Love, are filled with Joy! Always!!
Your cook book is on my Bornday list this year!

    Continue to Create, my Love!!
Love and Blessings, and Yum! <3 <3

  • Hello Candice, love all your vegan recipes. This sandwich idea was right on time for me. Being a vegetarian, I always found it difficult to pack food for my kid given the fact what his friends would say when they look at his Indian food. Well coming to the point I tried the Sandwich 2 from this video in my own method. Used firm tofu instead of seitan and instead of vegan mayo used the home made yogurt and also didn’t use mustard. Rest recipe remains the same and must say it turned out awesome and my family loves it. Lovely channel, have been referring to your channel for quite sometime now. Also tried out the sandwich from the Collab video with Nikki ( health nut nutrition).

  • The vegan chicken salad and egg salads look so similar to the ones the health food store back home makes! They actually make vegan & non-vegan options but I prefer the vegan options. They were so good and I’ve been missing them, so I’m glad I found this video because I’m definately going to make these for myself and my husband to take to work.

  • everyone here is vegan. I am not vegan I am 6 weeks pregnant that I cant eat meat becous of my pregnancy and I have to eat vegan food:/

  • Looks like half a brick of tofu, rather than a full brick. Are we imagining that? Not sure whether we need to double the amounts to use the full brick of tofu as it’s typically bought in any grocery store.

  • In case you want something tasty, but don’t have time/can’t cook, all you need is: rye bread, both spread and sliced (two slices) vegan cheese, hummus, vegan salami, walnuts, pistacchios, hazelnuts, a bit of thyme and another bit of oregano. It smells and tastes great, and even a kid could make it!

  • Toasted bread for sandwiches it is:) Before I ate mostly untoasted rye-bread, but about 1-2 years ago I have purchased a wonderful toaster and after that never looked back:))) Toasted 100% rye bread is fantastic! It has such a rich flavor, and lots of healthy fiber too!

  • Hi Liz, im from Nitta page.Im a newbie to your page. im a single mother to a set of 3yr old twins(boy&girl). you are helping me get organized and getting healthy quick meals. im so happy and thank you soooooooo much @Misslizheart

  • Your favourite colour is purple too!? No way me too, I absolutely love the bento boxes and I absolutely love the looks of the Hawaiian pasta salad yum! Anyways have an awesome day and weekend

  • I can’t wait! I pre-ordered your new book off Amazon.

Just one thing… why can’t it be ready sooner?! I need it naaaow

Also, you should do an audio book version THAT would be even more awesome

  • I actually got distracted the first time I made this, and when you mentioned salt, I used regular salt and hated the egg salad. I tried it again, with the exact measurements and was gobbsmacked by how much it tasted like what I could remember and my mother (non-vegan) was shocked too, even asked me if I was sure it was actually vegan.

  • Not sure what is going on with my right cheekbone, but I hope you enjoyed the video nonetheless 😉

  • Thank you so much for making this episode! I’m allergic to nuts and dairy and my husband is gluten free so this was perfect for us! Can’t wait to try out the recipes!:)

  • I love this tofu saladit is so DELICIOUSbut I sostitute the mayonnaise with soy cream cheese for a healthy recipe and the celery with lettuce

  • So I made the tofu egg salad sandwich today, and it was absolutely delicious! I didn’t have black salt, so I used regular sea salt and didn’t miss the “egg” flavor at all. Thanks for the recipes!

  • been shopping with iherb for years love them. in fact i placed an order today lol. i wish i would have seen this before my order i want to try that pumpernickel bread, its on my wish list now. all these meals looked wonderful especially the miracle noodles, they are so good.

  • Candace! You have changed my life, I am speechless, Primed the salt and just made tofu egg salad and I am in shock… it’s amazing, it’s better than the origional. It’s magic. How do I ever thank you… so gooooood! I would have never known…

  • Is tofu just soy? what’s the difference, the Japanese say they only eat tofu on occasion because it’s not good to eat alot of it,

  • Some fantastic information and detailed brand recommendations for our children’s lunchboxes. Thank you The kids Post and Wholesome Child.

  • Wow Alyssia you really do just keep hitting us with fresh ideas! Got to try those granola bars and the roasted grapes are a game changer! Well done and thanks!!

  • You are spoiling us with all these vegan recipes! (not complaining, keep them coming!):P So much love to you for including us vegans! <3

  • You look kinda sad… are you sure you’re mentally okay? Always know Seejungfrau help is okay! Go get help if you need it, you’re not being attention-seeky. talk to a friend or a professional if you need

  • I’m a vegans and I’m also soy free, but I’m heavily allergic to many different things, one of them being beans. Do you have any alternatives for chickpeas? as many vegans use them in many recipes and I sadly cannot consume them

  • Tiger nuts are called Chufas in Spain and are used to make a Valencian beverage called Horchata. You just soak them in water as if you were making almond milk and add sweettener. SO GOOD.

  • Oh, how these Thrive ads annoy me, they’re literally in every second vegan recipe video
I know they need the sponsoring, but still… meh. Plus, I’m german, so no Thrive for me
Still: Alyssia, I always enjoy your videos (especially the vegan ones )!

  • When u play baseball and basketball my mom packs me a peanut butter and banana sandwich so I eat it right before the games and its actually good

  • As someone who is new to the world of macro counting, your recipes are a godsend when it comes to ideas. I have to cut everything in half since my macros and caloric intake are way lower than your’s, but it definitely helps!

  • That moment when Liz posts a cooking video and you run to the store to buy the ingredients! Holy moly the noodle bowl is delicious xoxo

  • Wow Love the idea of roasted Grapes!!! Excited to try these! Curry Chick Peas? Mind blown!! Alysia where do you get your Bento boxes? I love them!

  • I love the ideas. There are other videos out there. I’ve been watching for awhile. But I cant believe the amounts of processed foods, food quantities, and toxic garbage in the foods she feeds her kids. Then she shows video of her kids. 3 of 4 are obese.

  • This video is so awesome. My daughter has a nut allergy (unfortunately she’s also allergic to coconut ) and she starts kindergarten in September, so this video is perfect for us. I just stocked up on bento boxes for her lunch. Can’t wait to try some of these recipes for her lunches. Those mini blender muffins are calling my name.

  • Does anyone have any ideas on how to use grapes that have gone mushy, but not bad? I hate wasting them and when they start to get mushy, I hate their texture.

  • I think I love everything you make. You make the food look so good and so beautiful I love that bread too it’s healthy and yummy my husband love it as well. Definitely wanna try everything but the angel hair looks so yummy coz I’m Asian so love Asian food. And the coconut wrap I love everything coconut and I love you too Liz.

  • Isn’t coconut is a nut too? At least I know people who are allergic against nuts in general also don’t mix well with coconut. So technically not all of it is nut-free? Or is there a difference?

  • Popcorn is great with some nutritional yeast! You get the cheese flavour and added nutrients without the excess sodium, oil, and fat etc.

  • Thanks for this awesome video Caitlin. Due to a negative high cholesterol report, I have decided to go vegetarian starting in 2020, so I am doing my research now. I made the chic pea “chicken salad” and had it for lunch yesterday with some pickled red onions (from your recipe). The salad was DELICIOUS!! However I had some trouble digesting the chic peas and have felt pretty awful all day today. Any idea if this is common? Love your videos

  • Your videos are a great inspiration I was wondering cause I want to be exact can I use a food scale to measure condoments cause I saw your prior video about food scales thanks

  • Thank you so much!! I struggle to find healthy nut free meals and I CANNOT be lenient with that so this helps so much!! And I’m totally checking out Thrive!!

  • Like bread toasted better, depends on the sandwich!! Should make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ham and cheese sandwiches!!

  • I love you so much but my husband is asking me to stop watching people who make me buy stuff! =)…yes, the black salt is an absolute necessity. Thanks, lovely lady!

  • BTW, your tomatoes look like they are TOO DIE FOR! Its been years since I have had a good fresh tasty tomato. Seems like all of the store bought ones these days have no taste.

  • you’re a genius. can’t wait for your vid on tracking meat I miss burgers and haven’t been eating them because I’m scared of tracking them wrong lol

  • It will be my one year anniversary as a pescatarian next month and of all the foods in the world the one thing that I really was craving was a sandwich I made the BLT it satisfied that one year long craving

  • If you are still in school and already eating only vegan, gluten free and nut free you will very probably not grow properly. Also gluten isn’t bad for you (not very much, at least, though I doubt that it is very good for you), unless you are allergic or something.

  • I’m so glad I found your channel keep doing these videos I recently became a vegan and was worried about what foods I can make that taste great. Thanks to you there is so many options ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • I’ve used the tofu egg replacer in Vegan ‘Scotch eggs’. Put two spoonful’s into some sandwich wrap (Clingfilm we in the UK call it) and twist to form a ball. Freeze until firm then place in some Vegan sausage meat and make a ball. leave twenty minutes for the ‘egg’ to come back to room temperature.coat in some vegan binding solution like egg replacer then roll in seasoned bread crumbs and deep fry until golden. YUMCIOUS!

  • I made the chick pea sandwich and after eating it I felt like it was a little plain, like it was missing some sort a flavor. I followed the recipe to the T, any idea what could it be?
