  • Bananas are high carb. Peanut butter is high fat. PB fit (peanut butter powder) has “added” sugar. If low-carb and low-fat is the goal, skip this one.

  • Everything is prepared without white sugar but the amount of sugar there is already in banana and honey alone just makes up for it. Not to mention the chocolate chips have a lot of sugar and are high in fat too. So this is nowhere near guilt-less… Delicious but definitely not innocent.

  • Have you ever realized differences in the taste of dates? I recently bought some (for the first time) and I didn’t like them. I remember buying some kind of paste, like already mixed dates without added ingrediences and it had a completely different taste. I wonder if the dates I bought were somehow of bad quality or if there’s always a weird musty taste or smell. Do you have any idea how to replace the dates in that cake? Like any other dried fruit?

  • These are good recipes; however, I want to point out that they are not necessarily healthy, and you definitely shouldn’t include them often in your diet. The addition of oils, grains, and other fats like cream cheese make them higher in calories than what is often reasonable on a low-calorie diet. Remember these recipes also include sugar, even if they don’t add any refined sugar (chocolate chips, for example, and a dessert with pineapple AND banana will be high in sugar). These are good alternatives to when you probably WILL serve dessert, like on a holiday. Use these recipes instead of getting a store-bought cake, and then you’ll be far better aligned with weight loss goals!

  • Sorry to say this but I just followed your recipe and it tasted bland and icky. Additionally, the cleanup was sticky because of the peanut butter. I added apple sauce and honey to sweeten it up a little, yielded a very strange flavor. I suppose with a lot of trial and error something tasty could be accomplished. Your recipe isn’t as yummy as you pretend that it is.

  • Guys, as a food scientist all I ask is DONT COOK WITH COCONUT OIL AND PUT IT IN MICROWAVE. Coconut oil is a vegetable fat rich in saturated fats usually used to induce cardiovascular strokes in animals in Laboratory, is linked to high levels of bad colestherol and gets solid in your veins like nothing. Please don’t eat it at all and microwaving it can even generate trans fats. Pls try to substitute it with something else.

  • It’s a lot better than coffee because it really jump starts my day and keeps me active, awake, and alert the entire day. Not only that, but I also noticed that if I eat a bit less, I lose weight a lot faster. I mean, by cutting my meals in half, I can lost as much as 5 pounds in 2 weeks! It’s a win-win situation! I get extra energy from weight loss green store tea, so my performance is not compromised, and I can also look weight and look better by the day!

  • A tip for the ice cream: it might just turn into a block if you leave in in the freezer with no lid etc. use plastic wrap and mould it down in the the ice cream before freezing.

  • If it’s 2 tablespoons of skippy (190) Large banana (121) and what about a 1/4 cup cocoa powder? (60) That’s 371 calories for a nasty banana paste. Honestly at that point you might as well buy one of those individual snack cakes

  • There is never any reason to add gelatine to chocolate mousse OR cheesecake. Just make it thick or whipped enough so that they stand on their own.

  • The very first recipe is messed up. I watched it a few times. When they sliced the banana bread there were strawberries in it, yet they never added them to it when they made it.

  • Crunchy peanut butter melted to runny -just lovely. Definitely use a high powered food processor still takes 12-14 minutes allowing for motor to cool to get to consistency shown above.
