    These are not low carb cereals. These are just really bad foods that don’t taste super great and you should look into nut oatmeals because you can get them to taste way better than these and they’ll be way healthier for you as well.

  • I love your content. Growing up in the 80s we lived on lucky charms, frosted mini wheats, wheaties and cookie crisp. Now I would not feed that to my kids (no judgment on my parents, it was a different time.) Once in awhile I give them organic corn flakes with hemp hearts or chia and almond milk. But we are determined for them to eat as little processed food as possible and besides, cereal never fills them up anyway… So I’m back to cooking anyhow ��

  • When I eat a special rice squares cereal, I use soymilk. All organic ingredients, and not many ingredients in the cereal. To help fill me more I just make a drink of a scoop of vanilla protein powder from DoTerra and water separately.

  • My current pick for “seemingly healthy” cereal is Heritage Flakes from Nature’s Path. 1 cup has 5 g of sugar, but it also has 5 g of protein and 7 g of fiber, so it’s one of the few cereals that will satisfy me for a while. I also like the the peanut butter flavor of Kashi Go! and it’s super filling because of the soy protein, but it’s much higher in sugar and calories. I also don’t generally buy sugary cereals because I have no sense of portion control. ��(My work supplies some snacks, including cereals, in communal snack kitchens and they just added Lucky Charms to the mix and it’s sooo dangerous, I try to pretend it’s not there.)

  • I am celiac and even tho cheerios say they are gluten free they are NOT safe for celiacs. They are cross contaminated with other things. In Canada (any) cheerios are not allowed to call themselves gluten free for this reason. Any food can say they are gluten free with 20 pp of gluten in it which still isn’t safe for celiacs.

  • As a type 2 diabetic, I watch sugars and don’t eat much cereal. Although, I’d rather choose one for fiber.
    The sugar counts are BEFORE you add milk, almond milk or any other milk. Right? Some people forget they’re adding more sugar with their milk so, thought I’d mention it.
    Great video. Get your healthy proteins in your meals. Getting hungry shortly after a meal is usually because the meal was mostly carbs and not balanced with protein.

  • I keep seeing ads on Instagram for “The Cereal School” advertising low carb sugar free Keto friendly cereal??? Could that be the answer? It’s too expensive for me but peaked my curiosity, would love to see a video on them! Cereal and I have mostly broken up because I’ve realized it’s empty eating and I tend to eat at least two bowls or one big bowl at a time because I love it so much. We always had three our four open boxes between my brother and I growing up, I’ve always loved it. Every once and a while I’ll treat myself and get a box.

  • As someone doing Keto, I wouldn’t suggest the romaine lettuce in the salad. Something more calorie dense, even a little Kale or something. Also, the snacks could have more variety:) You don’t want to eat such similar things, variety in your diet is healthy:)

  • I actually really like the brown rice puffs from Barbara’s, but I typically use non dairy vanilla milk so that adds something else to it. I usually make homemade granola as a cereal replacement and use my store bought cereal as a dessert. Thank you for sharing!

  • I like the skin on the salmon if it’s crispy. Usually I’ll sear both sides in a frying pan and then put it in the oven to crisp it up.

  • A fun fact to share, we lived south of Russia four years….no corn or flour tortilla to be found so I learned how to make my own. I packed in my checked luggage a several pound bag of Corn Masa, upon arrival after being in the air 20 hours…exhausted. I was ask to go with security which is very intimidating as I knew very little Russo…they ripped open the Masa a performed a drug test! I almost died as there is zero tolerance for drugs and never dreamed of the confusion!! I was cleared to go thank God but what a flight that was!

  • Omgosh my yucateco culture died with Bobby lol. My mom kept me vegan from 4 to 16 and I was such a sick child. I couldn’t even have milk, salt, cheese. Then I slowly ate pepperoni on a pizza and had chicken soup and it was over. I had meats and cheeses and skim or soy milk hahhaha that never changed. Regardless of everything I now have diabetes and spinal trauma from sports. I’m almost bed ridden again and it’s nice we have so much alternatives now. Good luck everyone stay healthy and sometimes it doesn’t matter what you eat in some cases. It’s what you do with your body physically because if you just sit on your booty and eat right you still store calories and still can get big. I’m a mother of 6 and I let them eat almost anything and everything. They are all at a perfect weight except for my oldest, but they are enjoying life, and unlike me always having such a food trauma that even looking at food makes me sick. Lol I’m so jaded with food it’s crazy.

  • As far as eating healthy outside of keto, the packaged meats you are buying appear to be processed, try buying fresh. Check the packages for Sodium nitrite or nitrate. Those are common in processed meats to help preserve it, but are quite harmful when digested, known carcinogen. This is what is harmful in bacon.

  • Counting calories: Fat weight by factor of 9 ( 30g Sour Cream =270 calories+ cheese 28g X 9 =252 calories) Carb weight by factor of 4 and protein by factor of 4 ( Burger 4oz =112g X 4=448 calories )…without the carb the grand total is 970 cal…

  • I purchased your plan yesterday and while I like the plan, I recommend the following: only use cup measurements, not grams. For example, how many eggs is 112 grams? You show 16 grams of peanut butter is a TBL, but then you list a serving on cheese as 14 grams. So I use part of a TBL? Do you see what I’m saying?

  • Omg you threw away most of that red onion. Plus with asparagus bend it till it snaps naturally. Mushrooms should be rubbed very gently with a damp paper towel or use a pastry brush. Mushroom just soak up the water. Have you tried frozen spinach? Must cheaper than fresh.

    lunch hot soup with garlic and bread, buckwheat kasha or sometime-meat 100 grams
    dinner kefir (buttermilk) and 100g home-made cottage cheese
    mix together Spinach Garlic Broccoli Celery Red cabbage Blackberry Water Black cumin.

  • YAASS!! My favorite “healthy” cereal is One Degree Sprouted Rice Cacao Crisps. They’re like cocoa pebbles but less sweet. I feel more like a grown-up when I get this cereal lol.

  • My general rule of thumb for buying cereal dont buy it if the box has:
    a cartoon character
    honey dipper
    any kind of fruit
    the words “fitness” or “crunch”

    Most of those are desert, not breakfast.
