  • Never heard of mushrooms in Chilli. I do like chocolate in Chilli traditional Mexican ingredient, but I use unprocessed cocoa powder, no sugar. I make my own Chilli seasoning so it is ready to go when needed. The pre-package stuff has loads of salts, preservatives & anti caking agents. You might want to add sweet corn to veggie chilli so delicious, rather than another kidney bean. Also mix lentils & sweet corn for another version of veggie Chilli.

  • Can anyone recommend a slow cooker that doesn’t get too hot even on the low setting? I tried the Thai meatballs on low for 7 hours and they burned. I had to toss them out. Reminded me of why I never use my crockpot.

  • You’re supposed to cook the meat and bring everything to the boil before you put it in the slow cooker! They don’t always get hot enough to cook meat by themselves and water needs a lot of energy to boil. I hope no one got sick from this video. ;_;

  • Obviously, those buying this have not read the ingredients or are ignorant of the inflammatory properties, which mean weight gain, cravings, GI distress, and bad moods. Can’t believe sucralose! Why not Monkfruit/Stevia? No need for gut wrecking carrageenan and the other sweetener Acesulfame Potassium. Disturbs gut biome. Maltodextrin…corn star of GMO’s. I was excited about the flavor choice and mixing with nut milk and peanut butter. But as wonderful as the flavor ideas are, the only organic ingredient is coconut flour and the rest is no different than a box of artificially sweetened cake mix.

  • Great recipes. I would never thought of doing cobbler in a slow cooker.

    One caveat I think you specified canned beans for all the recipes that contained beans, and those are safe because they are pre-cooked. However, if you are using dry beans, they must be boiled at high temp before putting in a slow cooker to degenerate the toxic lectins that soaking just can’t remove all of. Slow cooking won’t destroy the lectins, and some sources say slow cooking can actually concentrate them.

  • Liking the chocolate addiction to chilli, also when you use minced beef try adding a shot of espresso it tenderises the beef and gives a really nice flavour. Great video, thank you ����❤️x

  • Can’t not appreciate the tasteful (heh) blend of marimbas, strings, and piano in the background.. Makes me want to cook these even more, even though I don’t own a slow-cooker

  • The titles of each dish are at the end of the cooking, instead of at the beginning, which makes it hard to understand what you are seeing until each dish is completed. So I made a little cheat sheet. I hope you like it!

  • A couple of tips from a long-time slow cooker user: Cornstarch can be added near the end to thicken the sauce for the chicken. Also, the green peas can be added in the last part of cooking they’ll keep more of their brightness and freshness.

  • Totally got a SPATULATOR after KetoGinja showed, my family sings her song too. Those granola bars are amazing, got those off of Nicole Burgess Mediterranean plan. I put in a glass 9×9 with parchment and cut them up… delicious!! So filling, I actually made 16 ’cause so full after 1/2 of one. Love the tuna melt idea, will be adding that to my meal plans. Blessings & Keto-On… be it clean, dirty or lazy JUST DO IT!

  • You could use xanthum gum and add some more water and cocoa powder or even coffee(which increases the chocolate flavor) to make it even less calorically dense but the same consistency

It’s got me thinking of all sorts of different flavours perhaps a white chocolate peanut butter with raspberry swirl or cake batter flavoured peanut butter with sprinkles and white chocolate?   • Legitimately a peanut butter “shake.” I used to mix peanut butter with water, like.. half a jar of peanut butter at a time. Mixed it till it was kind of like a thick soup, then sprinkle salt on top, literally stupid good.

  • All of these look so good…especially the Barley Stew, which is my “clean out the fridge/freezer” recipe. You know, odds and ends of veggies in the fridge and the little bits of frozen veg, looking so lonely….and even stray potatoes. Thanks so much for posting this particular recipe/blueprint/idea…It really is a life saver, and very tasty, to boot!

  • Ingredients:
    • One tablespoon olive oil

    • One large yellow onion

    • 2 Cloves garlic

    • 2 celery stalks

    • 2 carrots

    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

    • 1 quart vegetable broth

    • Diced tomatoes (28 oz can)

    • Chickpeas (15 oz can)

    • Italian Farro (1 cup)

    • Kale or spinach (2 cups)

    2.Garlic flat bread, mmmmm.
    3. Pizza, double mmmmmm.
    I have to say though my ultimate fave was Sarah’s cake…it looked divinely yummy, mmmmm.
    As a veggie of over 20 years, I’ve enjoyed seeing the recipes you have used.

  • Great prep! Thanks. To fix that broken granola bar just heat up some more chocolate and oil (or chocolate) since you won’t need a lot and glue it back together. Also, for your eggroll in a bowl switch up the soy sauce with Braggs amino’s or a coconut amino’s and sprinkle on some McCormick Asian seasoning it is divine and the balm. So yummy!!

  • Hi Luke and Zara great vlog. I’m vegan but could adapt these easily. I add spinach to my chilli good way to get your greens in. The pie looked fab will make it with vegan cheese. Instead of an egg wash I use oat milk. Well done giving up meat. Dairy industry horrific so hope you both manage to transition to a vegan diet eventually. You should find it easy as your such a great cook luke. Zara that cake looked lush. Peace
