  • I added up the total for just the meals (minus the enchilada sauce and using not all the organic ingredients) on Instacart, since they inflate prices and it was a little over $36! Pretty dang good if you ask me since it’s probably total to right about $35 if not under and I could easily use it to feed me and my two toddlers through the week while hubs is working!

  • How the hell is 6-8 chicken breast and 1-3lb of beef finna make 60 meals for lean bulk I feel like u definitely need atleast $60 a week unless u eating straight tuna and rice every meal

  • If you add the beef, chicken, and eggs, it only adds up to 900 grams of protein…. Oatmeal has some too but ultimately this is what most people need, who workout, for a little under a week…. Am I missing something?

    Edit: forgot about the beans but still. I imagine if you’re drinking protein rich stuff like milk, or even pea milk this will stretch a lot further. Plus if you snack on nuts ��‍♀️ not bad at all, definitely affordable

  • all that ground beef aint healthy for you in the long run because of the choresterol levels and sodiun could get serious diseases so try adding lentils,beans,chicpeas,etc into ur diet so u can have more balance and feel better.

  • Man the MSG thing makes me sad because it comes from a racist study in the 1970’s that’s been dismissed by its scientific community. It has a long history of prejudice and no studies provide quality correlation of any health issues. It’s just a seasoning. And it is really delicious! Great vegetarian recipes! This is a great help since meat is getting pricier & harder to find in some areas because of everything happening��

  • 36oz ground beef = 1.2oz a day = 11g protein
    89.6oz chicken breast = 3oz a day = 27g protein
    60 egg = 2 egg a day = 12g protein

    Lean bulking with 50g of protein a day?

  • KING and QUEEN!!! So question tho… I don’t eat a lot of red meat like that honestly so I eat ground turkey a lot. Do you still recommend getting a real lean content because turkey tends to dry out with less fat quicker… Do you eat a lot of turkey with your meals?

  • Contamination city buddy, might need detox quite a bit as you age. How do I know this, being 6’5 was 300 plus at my best and eating 6 times a day with poor fed unhealthy raised livestock caused me a lot of health issues. Seen it with a few guys. I’m 47 and still trying to recover. Its a difficult acceptance when you have severe limitations and not able to enjoy the benefits of your gains and capabilities from a fitness lifestyle. Eat clean my friend, this is just a few words of the wise to help you avoid what I and others have. contaminants( animal hormones, pesticides in animals feed, antibiotics, preservatives) Hope you avoid the ailments bro.

  • This well not last for a month.I buy my food at Walmart and 1 of them pack of chicken breast last a week at most doing 4 to 5 oz of chicken and you get maybe 5 days at 2 serving of chicken a day.On the eggs simple math 60/2 equals 30,I doubt he’s bulking on 2 eggs a day,beans let’s say he’s get 5 serving that times 4 cans is 20 servings,this video is straight bull shit,not saying it can’t be done on 20 a week but not how he went about it

  • If you use your Instant Pot regularly, you should check out Pressure Luck channel on YouTube. He has some great recipes! He has one for meat loaf that you would probably like. They all looked good except for the pasta dish. I don’t think I could handle the tofu sausage, I’m sorry. Thank you for sharing!

  • Everyone quit being stupid. The caloric, fat, carb and protein contents in that food will provide enough nourishment to bulk cleanly. Yes you can get bigger with other methods, but not this cheap. You may not feel full, but your body is fueled, quit leaving your self control and motivation at the gym. You won’t get fat on this diet and you won’t lose size. Quit opening sales catalogs posing as exercise science and learn to cook.

  • I’m a vegan and I stumbled across your channel. Tofurky brand sausages aren’t great in my opinon, so I understand not feeling strongly about them. Thanks for being willing to try them and I hope you continue to incorporate meatless Mondays/meat alternatives into your meal plan because there are SO many wonderful recipes and options that don’t include meat, or even dairy.   • MSG is kind of like salt & sugar, you have to do it in small portions. Refined sugar alone here and there isn’t going to kill you, but you shouldn’t eat it all the time. (I do, the struggle to stop is so real) but I’m glad you touched on that it is about moderation (without saying the M word)

  • Do you have a good recipe for seasoned plain yogurt? I can’t stand to eat it plain even with fruit or honey added. I have found I can eat it with plenty of seasoning.

  • There’s 2 different MSG’s. One is a natural occurring substance in food, the other is a chemical that we should avoid at all costs! I read into it and that’s what I found out. I’ve been avoiding it and feel so much better.

  • One time with a gluten free pasta gifted to me, I missed the rinsing step, I didn’t even see it until after it was too late. The pasta became super mushy. It was a bean based pasta, so I ended up pouring it over frozen hash browns and baking it with vegan cheese. It was so-so, but at least edible. I hope no one ever makes my mistake.

  • i always enjoy watching your meal prep videos, but you’re sort of just spreading misconceptions about MSG. MSG, glutamate and glutamic acid are considered safe chemicals and occur naturally in our bodies and foods such as meat, seafood, eggs, cheese, mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, etc. the naturally occurring MSG products vs MSG products added into foods is indistinguishable in our bodies, so you can’t actually have a different reaction between the two. while there are people who can be allergic to MSG it is definitely not as prevalent to cause reactions as people make it out to be and you would then have a reaction to everything listed above and more. additionally, it is basically impossible to consume too much MSG in a meal/day to cause adverse reactions from too much.

  • I save TONS of money shopping at Aldi for one pretty basic reasonI mostly buy ingredients and not prepared foods. They have great prices on produce and dried/canned goods and I shop there every week. Trader Joes gets me every time with fancy cheeses, butternut squash ravioli, frozen dumplings, zhoug, ginger brew, and those darn tiny avocados ������ It still counts as self control if I just go there once a month, right?

  • This was a fantastic meal prep! I love to see veggie meal ideas. I make something similar to the enchilada casserole that I actually do call Mexican lasagna. What I do differently is use retried beans instead of whole beans. You can find fat free retried beans at Aldi and of course you can make your own, I find this makes the casserole hold together better and provides a nice, satisfying texture. I tend to use flour tortillas but obviously corn works if you need to go GF. I adore these types of casseroles and would LOVE to see more recipes like this! For me a one pan meal is where it’s at!   • Have you run across any Greek yogurts comparable to Fage brand? I find any of the brands Kroger carries to be just too sweet. Wondered if you’ve found anything at Aldi’s or Publix that is similar, but doesn’t cost $5 for the large container.   • Nice to come across a new What’s For Dinner Channel! Actually, it’s called herbs de Provence, not providence. Provence is a region in Southern France where they grow a lot of lavender (one of the key components of this spice blend is lavender along with thyme and oregano, usually). Providence, I’m sure you know refers to God’s guidance and foresightor the name of several cities in the U.S.!
