  • Hoping somehow you see this question and answer it in your next q&a. I’m currently doing 23/1 fast 3 days a week tues-thurs. 16-20hrs fast fri and Saturday. Sunday Monday just a caloric deficit days or really close to what I think is my maintenance. So my question is, I fast all day. Get off work, go to the gym then come home and feast at around 11pm and repeat…Will there be any harm bc I eat so late and sleep so soon right afterward, usually 1-1.5hrs after eating I’m knocked out lol.

  • Funny you say that about lowering fat. I love keto.. but I felt at one point while on keto that my body has two choices for fat energy..what I consumed or what was stored. So I started eating more lean proteins and less added fats and have still seen great results.

    I’m a boxer, I do omad carnivore keto and i have 5-6% body fat and I am very lean. I want to ask personally from myself and from other professional athletes. I know that these videos are watched by people who want to lose weight or improve their health and this is great. I understand that this is the main audience of subscribers of the channel. But you are also watched by professional athletes who use keto, carnivore, intermittent fasting runners, boxers, wrestlers, gymnasts, etc., which have slightly different goals besides losing weight, for example increase vo2 max, general performance during intensive workouts and so on. Please do more videos for as (for performance) too, thank you, you are the best. Sorry if this sounds a bit annoying.

  • You buried the lead you jerk. This video’s for people who eat more than 0.9 times a day.

    It’s rare that I eat more than once a day. There is usually some goal involved in that like tonight I’m just going to have maybe a 300 to 500 calorie snack because I deserve it and because tomorrow is it might be my last meal for a few days or maybe that meal will be tonight and then I will fast for a few days.

  • Uh oh. Now we’re nailing down calories again. I understand that “fat” is calorie dense but are we swinging back to a previous theory? We’ve only now realized through experimentation…the effects of low calorie diets. High Fats equal excess calories?
    …OR low calorie protein…ie 15-20 grams protein per 100 calories which ends up being manufactured foods designed in a processing facility to be in a range of calories vs. nutrients. (ie 15-20 grams protein in less than 100 calories). ��.

    I also recommend konja noodles with veggies or natueak timato sauce or nutritional yeast.

    Finally unsweetened pickled veg soch as gherkins are low carb and low calorie too. You can materially have a whole jar for less than 100kcal. My mum loves them!

    I have been doing ketogenic diet and intermitten fasting for 5 weeks now. All thanks to your and several other channel and website that i followed; Dr Berg, Diet Doctor etc.

    I am very happy with my progress.
    I am a 5f 4 inches guy, 28years old. I am down 12kg from 110kg since i started my diet.

    During intermitten fasting, i notice that i am easily dehydrated. But thats okay because i can easily drink water.
    Now, I am a Muslim and and Ramadan is here. I’m obligated to dry fast for almost 13 hours, everyday for a month.

    I am hoping that you would make a video guide for all of us on how to prevent dehydration during dry fast while in ketogenic diet.

  • If you go full Keto but don’t fast for 23 hours a day. Then you’re never gonna make it if your goal in 2019 is weight loss. Snacking is counter-productive. No matter how healthy someone try to sell on how nutriment dense it is or anti-flammatory it could be.

  • Dude, Thomas! I never have any urge to snack. I eat a keto meal at 12pm then another at 5:30pm. I will admit my goal is to lower my body fat. I suppose if I were trying to maintain I might eat some snacks. The big thing is that I dont even think about food until it’s meal time. Keto has been amazing for that.

  • I remember your protein sandwich hypothesis from a while back and how you mention fats should be high in the morning. If I work out in the morning, should I consume my post workout protein shake with a lot of fats?

  • I recently just found this weekend that Walmart has popcorn made by Smartfood Delight (white cheddar) it’s only got 35 calories per serving or 130 per whole bag with only 200 mg of sodium.Walmart also has the basic flavored twin pops called Penny Saver with only 40 calories per pop.At Meijer I got Butterball Turkey bacon for $1.00 a pack on sale it has 35 calories per 2 slices.

  • I don’t get skinny pop lot ppl use cal on regular popcorn that says unpop which is 100 cal but next to it the pop cal is like 20 cal so I just eat reg popcorn lol

    Turkey bacon (oscar meyer is like 30-40 a piece and it gets me protein)
    Frozen blueberry waffles (actually only 180 for 2 and not bad plain)
    Pickles (0-5 calories and satisfies munchies)
    Skinny Pop (in vid but the butter flavor is kinda nasty to me so i just go with the normal light salt ones to substitute chips)
    Dark Chocolate (the least calories out of all the chocolates and my personal favorite)
    Im too lazy to hard boil eggs so i cook them but honestly just Eggs in general

  • You don’t want to lose weight, you want to lose fat. By following stupid diet plans, I was primarily losing muscle mass. Oh god, how dumb I was? You only need correct diet and some kind of training, and the best thing is that you can find both (and much more) on website called NextLevelDiet.

  • Video is actually about high calorie snacks. Here are some low calorie snacks sugar free jello 20-40 calories for a large mixing bowl full of jello. Pickles 5 calories per med-large pickle. Coffee 2-4 calories and can buy some Walden farms 0 calorie creamer. Walden farms also sells 0 calorie syrup which you can use with whey protein pancakes. There are Shitaki noodles that are essentially wet ramen noodles that are 0 calories. Rice cakes are 25-45 calories per. Rice crackers are about 60-80 calories for 10-14 crackers. Diet sodas are 0 calories. Cans of soup are low calories and you can add as much water as you want to increase the portion size without increasing calories, some brands of mushroom soup are as low as 50 calories per can. With the right nutrition it is relatively easy to feel very full while only eating 2-300 calories per day. As a 267lb man, I easily stayed around 200-300 calories per day without being hungry and while losing 5-15 lbs per week. I also worked out about 2 hours per day but even without working out, I would have lost about 5 lbs per week with such a low intake of calories.

  • Good ideas. 1 small issue is that an apple by itself has 70-80 calories. And 1 tbsp peanut butter has 95 calories. Sooo….an apple smeared with even a thin layer of peanut butter is around 175 calories.

  • 1,000 calories a day from alcohol is a sign of addiction. White lightening is the cheapest, strongest cider around. They only framed it in terms of calories and not alcohol as a drug. This lady needs to be referred to a drug and alcohol recovery service. Bless her. I hope she gets on top of it.

  • what, 3200 cal a day in not enough to explain a significant weight gain??? An average woman needs about 2000 a day. If she eats every day 3200 instead of 2000, she would have eaten an extra 100800 calories a year, which is the equivalent of 13,4 kilos or 2,11 Stone of weight gain!!!…a year!!!

  • Haha, loved the good cop bad cop thing going on. Apple on peanut butter is my all time favorite. For the popsicle, i sometime just layer a few juicy fruits in the popsicle holder and freeze it, without making a juice out of it first. Have used Kiwi, Mango and Watermelon mixed and it tastes yum as well:D

  • This food would not be fresh after few days. How do you keep avocados fresh without turning brown? I really would like to know. Also if you put salad dressing the food would deteriorate faster because of the acid content in the salad. Why not just make a salad with no dressing and add it when you eat that salad. You are eating same foods daily, that’s not too healthy. I could eat a couple of those portions per meal; they seemed small to me.

  • Great recipes, however there was a lot of plastic. Replacing aluminum foil with silicone baking mats is better for your health and the environment and theres so many other low waste options that would really make a big difference as well, like using reusable dressing cups.
