  • I notice that if I start off my day with high carbs(oatmeal or pancakes) and sugar(fruit) then I am hungry 30 minutes later and crave sweets all day. This has made me resistant to becoming vegan because I feel much more satisfied for hours after eating eggs and avocado. Thank you for sharing this info!!!! I’m definitely going to try!

  • Kinda surprised some of these choices didn’t feature a double protein recommendation… Skipping extra carbs and maxing out on proteins will cost equal or less $ for those who are eating fast food due to financial strain, and if you want similar calories with a higher protein score, doubling up on meat is a fair option. Not a bad video by any means, though.:)

I did my toful about half as thick and I basically took the tofu scramble recipe added a little water started up and let them soak on each side then I used some of the Tempeh beacon, half a slice of Chao cheese and English muffins they were fantastic �� I’m going to make another set of them this week for breakfasts My 15 yr old said You have done it again Mom!

  • I would never have imagined using cauliflower as porridge particularly given its unmistakeable smell but this looks amazing and I suspect the cocoa powder will disguise all traces:) Ingenious!

  • You vegans are the strangest lot. You don’t eat meat, you don’t want other people to eat meat because it’s “cruel,” you don’t want animals being killed to eat, but yet you eat “pretend” meat. So if you are REALLY against eating meat and LOVE your plant diet, you shouldn’t be pretending to eat meat because then you’re “pretending” to eat something from an animal. See how illogical that is?   • Just discovered your channel & I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THESE VIDEOS! They are helping me change my eating habits, and pay more attention to the details like sodium. Sadly I never paid attention to sodium before watching your videos. I love fast food (who doesn’t) but only like to indulge on special occasions, so it’s nice to see some (healthyish) options for when I didn’t meal prep or forgot my lunch!

  • Subway also has wraps… I always get a 6 inch spinach wrap with grilled chicken, spinach, olives, tomatoes and light balsamic dressing. It’s really good.

  • I hate the food police and I’m not judging, just curious. Isn’t TVP highly processed soy, the exact kind of soy we are supposed to avoid? There are so many anti soy vegans and I am not one of them, but I do stick to the least processed kind. If I’m totally wrong someone let me know.

  • If you’re going with the Chic Fil A salad, couldn’t you just add the grilled chicken to the salad and squeeze a lemon on it? (I know they have lemons because they serve iced tea) then you could get the superfood salad without the dressing

  • What about Burger King grilled chicken sandwich without the sauce/mayo? Plus a small fry is 240 calories.. it’s probably a lot of sodium but it’s still not bad for fast food

  • Breakfast IS hard! I don’t like oatmeal for the most part. I resort to peanut butter toast, cream of wheat or Cheerios to be perfectly honest. I don’t out this much effort into breakfast but I totally would on a weekend! But the yogurt bowl looks easy and delish!   • Great video, heads up tho, people usually eat at fast food places because of the cheapness. Healthy items fast food places offer are usually more in cost.

  • I work at subway! We do salads and wraps as well. I usually do a rotisserie chicken salad with no cheese and just a dash of sweet onion. You can make the salad the way you want and you can choose to have a little or lot of whichever dressing or no dressing. It’s my favorite. But be prepared. They’re a pain to make so the worker might get a little frustrated…

  • Guys. lost crazy amounts of weight doesn’t need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’ll give you some tips now. Look for a popular weight loss secrets called Custokebon Secrets (just google search it). Thanks to it I have lost crazy amounts of weight.   • It’s tough when you live in a small town and there are literally only 5 restaurants total: a McDonald’s, Subway, DQ, Dog N Sudz and a family breakfast diner. Some towns offer even less.

  • I love that you’re lifting weights and eating a higher protein diet. I’m starting a 12-24 month program by The Sculpted Vegan and I have to change my diet from 80-10-10 to 40-30-30 or at the very least 50-30-20. I feel better after increasing my protein.   • Smoothies are good and practical. They are quick and so easy To do. When i Am in a rush or When i don’t feel to spend much time on my breakfast i always make a smoothie. I raraely have a salty breakfast but i will give it a try Nisha.

  • I am Vegan and trying out the Lower Carb/Keto diet. Potatoes and rice just didn’t sit well for me. I have IBS so have struggled finding foods to eat. On your lower carb what do you try to stay in for carbs? Oatmeal is higher in carbs isn’t it? So glad I found your channel

  • that kind of show should be in tv. teaching people that you can eat everyting and every place, but its about choices. comparisons should be also in every restaurant that people could make right choices. but that would be bad for their income ofcourse. it should be demanded with law, that there is energetic values in all the eating out places

  • I go to subway and get:
    Italian herbs and cheese six inch with beef slices and cheddar cheese with all the vegetables on the menu except olives, mushrooms and jalapenos.
    I go to pita pit and get wholemeal large pita with feta and cheddar cheese, diced steak, and all the vegetables except jalapenos, mushrooms, and olives.
