Crazed Turkey “log”. fill and roll long ways. slice into 8 equal slices. place cut side down on baking sheet. bake in preheated oven at 400. for about 15 mins. Turkey Crazed Pot Pie: ( this is a double recipe using the 2 pie crust shells). 4 cups shredded TURKEY. large can or bag of Vegall. 1 large cream of Chicken. salt/pepper. Remove thawed crust from the tin,. pour 1/2 mixture into one tin,. top with 1 crust. BAKE at 375. for 25 mins. Stuff Me Again Turkey Casserole: cook Rice A Roni as instructed on box,. chop about 3 cups of your LEFTOVER TURKEY, then. mix together 1 large can of cream of Chicken and. 1 cup sour cream. Mix altogether and cook at 375 for 15 mins. add crumbled Ritz crackers and drops of butter. cook for another 10 mins. Dreaming of a White Turkey Chilli: ( in a crop pot combine all ingredients and cook on low for 4 hours). 2 or 3 cups of chopped LEFTOVER TURKEY. 4 cups canned chicken broth. 1 can white beans DRAINED. 1 can Rotel. 1 taco seasoning pack. salt/ pepper/garlic to taste

INSTRUCTIONS. Pre-heat oven to 350F.. Trim the top and bottom of zucchini off. Lay the zucchini flat and slice in half lengthwise. Repeat with all four zucchini.. Using a spoon, scoop the center of the zucchini out leaving 1/4 inch wall around the bottom and sides of the zucchini. Repeat with each zucchini halve.. Reserve 1 cup of the zucchini meat from the center of the zucchini and give it a rough chop. We will use this in the filling.. Add a thin layer of salsa to the bottom of a baking and lay the zucchini boats on top. You may need two dishes to fit all of the zucchini.. Ina large non stick skillet, heat olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add in the onion along with a pinch of salt.. Once the onion is translucent, push to the side and add in ground beef. Season with salt and break up into crumbles. Add taco seasoning and stir to coat.. Next, add in cauliflower rice, garlic, bell pepper and zucchini ‘meat’. Season with a little more salt and pepper and stir.. Pour in remaining salsa, stir everything together, and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow to cool until it’s easy to handle.. Divide the mixture evenly amongst all 8 zucchini boat halves and then sprinkle each half with shredded cheddar cheese.. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the zucchini is tender.. Top with fresh tomatoes and cilantro and enjoy! NOTES. *I always buy my cauliflower rice pre-made at the grocer store. The turkey is always dry. Mashed potato takes billions of years to cool. Cranberry sauce tastes like a juice box with an extra cup of sugar. The vegetables are always half cooked or mushed. The gravy is always too salty, or too watery.

Cool idea. I have found that the zucchini is not done preparing them like this. I always precook my zucchini for about 20 minutes before stuffing them. Otherwise by the time the zucchini gets done the meat mixture is overcooked. Love the taco idea though. Definitely will be trying your recipe.

Nice idea for stuffed zucchini. My experience with this approach is the zucchini are never cooked through after 30-35 minutes in the oven. I give them an initial zap by themselves in the microwave, 7-8 minutes, before stuffing them, and then they are tender after their oven time with the stuffing. Yummy recipe! Haha, if this was 1974 (when I was a kid lol), upgrading one’s meats may be “tricky” depending on where one lives ( 2:57). But in 2019, I presume for most the trickiness is a matter of cost (the elephant in the room lol). It is for me. Meat (and especially the high end meat you’re advertising/recommending) is expensive!

Well I just made these and I suggest 375 for temperature and almost 40 minutes!!!!(and no I did not have super large or thick zucchini).
The turkey is always dry.
Mashed potato takes billions of years to cool.
Cranberry sauce tastes like a juice box with an extra cup of sugar.
The vegetables are always half cooked or mushed.
The gravy is always too salty, or too watery.
Wow. I love Thanksgiving soo much.
Even if I didn’t like the recipes themselves, I am a BIG fan of recycling in the kitchen -I absolutely LOATHE throwing away stuff that I can use in different ways. So, good job, big thumbs up, show people that leftovers aren’t trash.

Yes!!! Kev included Bloopers!! LOL!! The salmon patties definitely threw me off, but I think the frittata looks great. I think my fav for now and until forever will be a cold turkey sandwich from the leftover bird. I’ll just be swapping the mayo with avocado and stacking on whole grain.

Totally great ideas for using leftovers. Nice Job. Sorry about the boo boo, boo. I know that in Downtown Dallas, there are a lot of homeless. It would never occur to me to have packed up a meal to give to a homeless person. Thanks for all the nice ideas.
Cool idea. I have found that the zucchini is not done preparing them like this. I always precook my zucchini for about 20 minutes before stuffing them. Otherwise by the time the zucchini gets done the meat mixture is overcooked. Love the taco idea though. Definitely will be trying your recipe.
1:02 I think that means “chilli with meat”. I’m Portuguese and “carne” means “meat” and con is similar to “com” wich means “with” and that is probably Spanish, probably a Mexican recipe

Made these for dinner last night and they were delicious! I made a change by adding some Italian sausage with the beef and quinoa instead of the cauliflower rice because it’s what I had on hand. Will definitely make them again.

1) cook the tomato paste on the pan first
2) stop using aluminum foil to cook chicken it is not good for your health
3) add soy sauce later so it does not evaporate
4) i wonder what is the rice like at friday after 5 days in the fridge. Do you incubate Bacillus Cereus?

Nice idea for stuffed zucchini. My experience with this approach is the zucchini are never cooked through after 30-35 minutes in the oven. I give them an initial zap by themselves in the microwave, 7-8 minutes, before stuffing them, and then they are tender after their oven time with the stuffing. Thank you for your always excellent presentations. Great job.
What’s the rookie chefs? Please stop or study cooking your losing all your vitamins and minerals if you want the healthier version you must steam the veg and mix your herbs and spices with the oil so it doesn’t burn and score your chicken!

Yummy recipe! Haha, if this was 1974 (when I was a kid lol), upgrading one’s meats may be “tricky” depending on where one lives ( 2:57). But in 2019, I presume for most the trickiness is a matter of cost (the elephant in the room lol). It is for me. Meat (and especially the high end meat you’re advertising/recommending) is expensive!
