  • I think you will find that there are many vegan recipes which contain protein. There are plant based proteins as well as animal proteins available. I have recently read that much of the bitterness has been bred out of Aubergines with the result that salting and soaking is no longer necessary, although if frying them it does help lessen the absorption of fat. Sorry to be negative because I like your ideas for food combinations. I think it works so well when meals incorporate methods from differing countries.

  • You are like unstuck to me now. And that was good according to your father and I guess I think I need a doctor and Money and transport and Contacts and everything

  • And the rings and the healing had to be given you had to be helped to be taken away that was crazy enough for me and I didnt have seriousity before we had Money. Or a long long long writing.

  • I got my Family in the rings too and someone really serious but not about marrying and that was a little bit funny OFF course move in!

  • I made it and it tastes good. Only that as I did not have some ingredients, I used peanuts instead of cashew nuts and cheese instead of cream. Thankyou for the recipe Ma’am. This is my first time making a chicken curry.

  • I know alot of people don’t care for Ina but I absolutely love her…I used to make fun of her saying “get the good olive oil or get the GOOD cheese” and back then I didn’t understand it. I do NOW! Simple ingredients but GOOD ingredients.

  • What this presentation shows is that most modern chicken carcasses we get nowadays at the grocery or wherever are pretty flavorless. So when we cook chicken, we have to add lots of flavor. If you have the ability to access heritage chickens, or even grow them yourself, chicken can have a lot of its own flavor. Most industrial-farmed chicken we consume are breeds that, essentially, end up being mostly corn. If you have to put bacon on chicken, chances are, you aren’t getting quality chicken.

  • I’ve always enjoyed your cooking show when i learned however that you declined to help a dying girl and her Make a Wish Foundation request, I’ve lost respect for you. I’m a cancer survivor and a widower from breast cancer. No one cares how good of a cook you are and that you live in the Hamptons if you have no heart.

  • I remember when I first found this lady, quite by accident, flicking through the channels. I was spellbound. Such a soft and gentle voice, so calming. The first US woman I have heard that did not grate on the ear. So, now I am still hooked. Great therapy, even if you do not cook.

  • FYI double cream is almost the same as heavy cream or whipping cream, it has a lil more butter fat in it. Heavy cream can be used instead of double cream. Or make your own by adding butter to whole milk.

  • I used to like her cooking, but then her show turned into “Ina and her posh friends”. It got to be too much. She likes to cook and follow a recipe, and she is moneyed and lives in “The Hamptons.” She has a kitchen, appliances and FOOD most of us can’t even dream of. I didn’t need to watch a rich person playing with food. And yes, we KNOW lemon and garlic and chicken are meant for each other. And she even constantly repeats the the same recipes over and over.

  • I love the way she cooks and teaches you how as well. I want her to have another show. So tired of the same fn stars having 4-5 shows.

  • I remember Ina when she had her shop out east on Long Island in the eighties.
She and Martha Stewart were my homemaking and cooking gurus.

I’m a pretty good cook today because of them.

  • Thanks Ina for introducing me to chicken with lemons. Now we never roast chicken without lemons.
And tying up the bird makes a neater less splayed open presentation at the table. I like ladylike chickens who keep their legs together.

  • Pleaee add other parts of the chicken like thighs and legs and wings maybe whole chickens not just breasts not everyone has chicken breast

  • Supercool, tried this receipe today! Fantastic u are a very good chef! I have followed 4 of ur chicken receipe!! Good excellent and continue showing new ones!!

  • Do you promise to protect me? I didnt wanna run loose, I wanted you in bed Wildly. And you think that I am gonna be able to be faithful these for years no sex, but you turned me on? I gotta have some now I think, if you dont and so well then thats thats

  • Aaj meri beti ka 13th birthday hai aur kyonki covid ke wajah se hum uska Yeh birthday poori tarah se celebrate nahi kar paye maine uske liye ek special lunch banaya. Us lunch ka Khaas hissa aapka Yeh mughlai chicken tha. Bahut hi lazeez. Usko bahut achcha laga. Bahut bahut shukriya India se!

  • Tried it. For those who are wondering about methi leaves you could add while frying the chicken. Also 1 cup ghee is too much somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4th cup should be fine. Must try recepie if you are keeping the frequency low otherwise cholesterol is gonna get you right there
