  • you tell me not to eat fructose (fruit) because it makes me fat, instead eat more fat and. Say that my liver can’t handle it.this is stupid.

  • Tried making the blueberry banana pancakes was a total flop. The pancake took forever to cook and at the end it was basically fried oatmeal that was still raw. Maybe I just made the batter wrong idk.

  • Everything looks so yummy.. Wanted to know if you have any low carb-low sugar high fibre n protein recipes like this. It would be very helpful..

  • I cannot express in words that how much your channel helps me to cook healthy recipes and to maintain my health. Just love each and every recipes. <3 <3

  • I would love to hear Thomas’ thoughts on “net” carbs. I’ve been doing low carb/keto for years. Went from 225 to 150 and kept it off. My feeling is that a carb is a carb regardless if you subtract fiber or sugar alcohols. I’d love to hear about this topic.

  • Although the cereal looks great and there’s that whole what price would you put on your health? Thing, at nearly $10 a box for 7oz it’s more expensive than prime rib per pound. No thanks

  • I’m confused about one thing Thomas. In many videos you say to eat lean protein and carbs breaking a fast should we do fat and protein instead

  • He doesn’t talk about how calorically dense dietary fats are, must we be reminded that there is 9kcal per gram of fat in contrast to protein and CHO which is 4kcal per gram. Calorie management guys…. This guy cherry picks at the highest order and here is advertising a “breakfast cereal”, which he’s being sponsored to do… contradictory at his finest

  • PLEASE READ. Thanks for the dope recipe the first pancakes were amazing. So I was just making sure that the entire mix you made is 320 cal right? Not 1 pancake? Thanks!:)

  • I thought a lot of breakfast smoothie recipes that were good with Keto had a relatively small a portion of fruit (e.g. 1/4 cup). Would even that amt be bad?

  • i tried the blueberry one and tbh i didn’t really like it. it was like unsweetened porridge.
i love your channel and all your videos and i will continue to stay subscribed but i don’t think this recipe is for me. i do recommened you make one and test it and add some kind of sweetener to it as it tasted like flour and eggs or smthing not much flavour

  • I just don’t understand why so many people choose plastic to mix up ingredients. The world is crying for more awareness of this plastic issue and we are too lazy to use normal bowl to mixed up ingredients in the simple recipes. Comaoow we all can do better and can be a better model of others.

  • For the wing macros im confuse serving size is 5 chicken wings does that mean a whole chicken wing as in drum and flat? Or both separated

  • Team pancakes because I like the idea eating a cake that is flat and you can customize it with practically any food accommodations. Plus you don’t get the overwhelming icing.

  • train fasted in the morning after 16 hours no food, then essential amino acids with mct oil straight after training as breakfast, then keto meal 2 hours after!

  • Pancakes are tied in tightly with my childhood so I’m going to have to go with team pancakes.

Even though you didn’t beat the record you still did amazing!!♥️⚡️⚡️⚡️

  • Official kiddo office official kiddo much lol last office office official transcript from you are not going because they are you doing tonight and I have been talking about this and he said that what it is but if I will play a game on the game on Saturday so i you are you still looking for some reason it

  • For anyone wondering, I have gathered that Thomas recommends consuming fructose when breaking a fast, but only if you have just worked out before breaking your fast.

Wake up, skip breakfast, fast throughout the day, work out, then break your fast. In this scenario, you can break your fast with fructose, glucose and protein. If you haven’t worked out, then generally stay away from fructose. This is because, if you have worked out, then the fructose will be used towards glycogen replenishment as oppose to storage otherwise

  • Hi sir I find your videos very helpful and wanted to thank you for sharing so much info.

    Quick question:
I have a glass of water or tea first thing whe wake up.
Then startingthe morning with a kiwi to get vitamin C would be so wrong?
    Just a single kiwi…

You said in other of your recent videos that breaking fast with a bit of fructose was most appropriate…

    So? I’m confused…

Also I don’t understand how the vit c in a fruit won’t be absorbed because of the sugar in it…

    Is nature that stupid?

If so why nature made fruits colorful so animals would eat them and spread the seeds away??

    🙂

  • Interesting stuff although I’m confused in that you mention to have fats / protein for breakfast which in some cases could be breaking a 10-12 hr fast yet in another video suggest avoiding fats to break your fast when intermittent fasting (say 16hrs); what is the difference between the two fasts? I’m new to this so sorry if I’m missing the point here so any advice would be great.

  • Awesome. Eating oats with strawberry, blueberries and banana in there. So healthy.

I wouldn’t recommend fruit for breakfast.
But eat most of your calories sooner in the day.

Oh… Okay so Oats (carbs) and boiled eggs.
Don’t mix carbs and fats in the morning because carbs open the cells and then the fat stores.

Okay… So I’ll just not eat.
    24 hour fast

  • I am just so confused. I just saw a video from Thomas saying that in order to break a fast after a workout, you need an orange to spike your insulin and a protein/carb breakfast with minimal or no fat. Now, I hear that you should not eat fruit in the morning and you should try to eat fats in the morning instead and carbs later. Am I going crazy?

  • Being a supporter of this diets bmmust me a misery, just eat and build muscle.
All this shit about scientifical terms and shit, all they do is illustrate you, then frustate the fuck out.
Do you how many now a days “basic food” have nutrients that sopposedly are bad for you.
You just cant keep it up, it may not be for me but hell that is a misery.

  • Hi Thomas! The cereals are too expensive for breakfast food, $10/box. I’ll just stick to bacon and egg or just skip breakfast at all.

  • Thanks for clicking on the video folks! Be sure to stay tuned for the upcoming CARB COLLECTION challenge this week! How do you do breakfast? *COMMENT DOWN BELOW!*

  • Excited to see you give the thumbs up on Magic Spoon. The cocoa with a chocolate protein shake & the frosted with a caramel protein shake I can see this will be a game changer for me

  • Top tip: If you feel your pancakes are raw within, then, try to let the pancakes mix rest for at least 15 minutes before cooking them in the pan the next time. And try to add 1 extra cup of oatmeal to your mix.

  • I was just watching your rant man I like your channel but I wasn’t going to subscribe but if people got time to hate there is time to show love so I subscribed I’m sure that helps feed your family and you God bless you

  • Thomas, does the heavy whipping cream I add to my 2 cups of tea a day have glusophates (spelling?) in it? You know, because of what the cows eat.

  • This link has a great list of fruits with all their sugar types broken out and given a number:
    https://www.opastonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/natural-fruit-sugars-and-human-health-a-reality-anfs-19.pdf

  • The study of the sucralose can be misleading. If a person is eating other foods to strengthen the gut bacteria, would that cancel the negative impact of the sucralose?

  • Want a lower calorie banana pancake recipe?

    1 large egg
    1 large banana
1 scoop whey gourmet chocolate protein powder

    1. Mash bananas
    2. Add egg
    3. Then after mixing the banana and egg and half the scoop of protein powder, mix, then add the other half.

all comes in at 300 calories

  • Hi Thomas, thank you so much for this video and the explanation. Please I would like to ask if it would be ok to have Weetabix for breakfast or when breaking an intermittent fast.

  • I m sorry Thomas but i disagree. I would like for you to ask me with a yes or no. You really believe a person that works out, stress free in a caloric deficit with healthy nutrition, minimum sugar and high protein that wont lose weight or gain muscle because he eat a healthy fruit at breakfast?
Come on people… You think thats how our ancestors lived or how ”ripped” people live nowadays?
Stop looking at the tree and see the forest…
And thats from an old old old fan of your channel mate.
    Always with love.
Good luck with your baby girl!

  • Maybe take a hiatus…don’t quit So many times I’ve told myself i should’ve taken a REST rather than throw in the towel. Everyone takes weekends or vacations at some point. Everyone’s been taught to walk away from a fight to cool down. Just cool down. You got this Tom delauer!

  • Look people, I know fruit desserts are fabulous. But try your best to eat your fruits raw and fresh. When you cook them, the heat destroy so much precious vitamins… So don’t put the banana in the batter, just slice them on top of the pancake, it’s just as delicious.

  • I prefer a savory breakfast any day over a sweet meal at any time. I feel so much better since going keto and eating stuff like steak or bacon wrapped pork filet for breakfast.

  • If you, Thomas DeLauer, want to see a “real” disciple of
good, go check out the videos of Ivor Cummins. He never self-promotes, and
presents the most logical and common-sense videos on health.

After watching a few of his videos Thomas, YOU NEED to notice
how he doesn’t beg for people to subscribe or like his videos, like so many
others like YOU do??? That is the mark of a truly helpful person NOT doing it
for personal gain, confident in their presentation and the information within
it. They are about the purity of the vital information, NOT self-promotion and
profits!!!! They KNOW that people will subscribe/like if they present relevant
accurate information for them. People who beg for subscribers and likes are
FAKE’s, who have ulterior motives for their vids, and are just doing it for selfish
reasons. Ivor Cummins video on VITAMIN D is ten times better than yours. Watch
his video on vitamin D, and you MIGHT understand what’s wrong with your vids.

YOU care MORE about your selfish promotion than you do the information, and
it shows by how much you SELL in every single video you put out. And cheap
animations are also so childish and unprofessional filler. SHAME ON YOU!!!
BTW, attacking someone during your live stream is a great sign of what an asshole you
truly are. The reason you’re seeing more haters, is because people can easily see how
FAKE YOU ARE, and your continued selling and self-promotion are clear indicators.

  • I love it when you concentrate on Keto science, but when you do vids for the general public ‘glycos’, I lose interest. Not your fault, but I end up watching fewer of your videos…

  • Not challenging but i dont understand ive been eating fruit for breakfast almost everyday for years and in in good shape and excellent health

  • Yikes, promoting a food like magic spoon?! A bunch of manufactured ingredients from around the globe mashed together to form a goo that is extruded, hardened and put into a box for years of safe shelf life. That stuff is neither healthy nor is it food. It is fake sweeteners and fake grains meant mimic another unhealthy food. Who says highly processed whey protein that has been pulverized, manipulated, molded and put into a box is healthy? You or I could never make such a food in our own kitchen. That alone should keep it out of your diet.

  • Wow that cereal does look good. Sadly they don’t ship outside of the USA and I blew up all my budget to stock up for the quarantine anyway. I hope that some day I will get to try it.

  • I enjoy watching you cook. You speak clearly, give excellent direction and pace yourself very well I can follow you! Thank you. I just got an air fryer and am looking forward to trying old favorites a new way.

  • Will have to disagree with Thomas here. I eat mainly fruits in the morning and looking better daily. My skin actually just shines. Love your videos tho.

  • Do you like waffels yeah we like waffles do you like pancakes yeah we like pancakes do you like french toast yeah we like french toast

  • Would you be able to explain if supplements like ZMA are a good way to get zinc and magnesium? I want to make sure I get enough since I drink alot of water and flush it out, but I also want it to be safe and effective.

  • Low carb and ketogenic diets can be really therapeutic for lots of people. i, myself, eat a ketogenic-style diet. With that said, the information on fruit being necessarily deleterious to health when consumed in the morning is not even remotely supported by the literature. First of all, fructose from fruit vs. high fructose corn syrup in processed foods absolutely do not affect the body in the same way. This is crystal clear if you read the research. Not only that, fruit sugar is not purely fructose-each fruit has a different ratio of fructose to glucose. Even in the context of type 2 diabetes, while keto can be life changing for many, fruit has not been shown to negatively impact blood glucose, insulin, or outcomes overall.

  • OMG those are the most beautiful pancakes I’ve ever seen. They look so soft and fluffy. I’m new here I am also on my weight loss journey. Those are a must try for me. You have a new friend here. Come over

  • Losing weight, dieting is always the hardest part for me
But watching ur chanel helped me a lot by making heathy nd tasty food.
    THANKYOU! (><)/♡

  • As a skinny person that can’t seem to put on any weight your fructose claims tell me I should be eating that more so that I can store some fat. I’ve never been able to store any no matter what I do and I’ve been mostly high carb most of my life but I tried Keto for a couple of weeks too.

  • The Asian culture in the Philippines in Thailand and many more places eat fruit in the morning in afternoons they’re not fat just look at them in the countryI have a whole nation back in my theory up

  • I tried the first pancakes 2 times the first time I added 2 eggs like how the recipe said but it was way too eggy and it tasted like omelette so the next time I only added 1 egg and it was perfect so i recommend but only add one egg I also recommend adding some vanilla syrup and cinnamon(sorry for the bad English)

  • I heard you can eat sweets in the morning cuz the metabolism is faster during morning so i had my cakes and donuts in the morning

  • Im 22 and 5ft10in 215lbs (muscular with a layer of belly fat) I 16:8 from 9pm-1pm Before I break my fast I workout at 12 for an hour. I break my fast after with 2 rice cakes and 8oz chicken. Later I have 8 eggs and ham/veggies and for dinner I have 8oz chicken or beef with rice/veggies. I’m trying to shed fat and build muscle. How’s this look?

  • Lose the music! Never try to compete with music or any other background sounds when speaking to people. How many classes or talks have you ever attended where they are trying to speak over the music? If you must, intro to fade then end fade to out but with better music.

  • I tried the first recipe and it was so sticky and burned in 30 seconds so i tried adding 2 tbsp of milk and it was fantastic and had its golden color really i recommend you adding 2 tbsp of milk

  • Although for many breakfast is the most important meal to SKIP, it sounds like we have had breakfast lunch and dinner backasswards forever. We should be having a hamburger no bun in the morning, four ounces of mackerels in olive oil as a “treat” afterwards, a salad with olive oil for lunch, and pancakes or a bowl of cereal for dinner, all within about 6-8 hours. Maybe couple cups grapefruit sections in monkfuit and water for dinner dessert. Insane!

  • Just curious. Air fryer. Wings. Do they really need to be flipped so much? Doesn’t air get all around them? I’m lazy. Lol. Ty
