A busy life and the need for real food.

Sick of frozen dinners and cereal. Yes, these have been my “go to” meals. Sad, but true.

I’m just too busy and I know I’m not the only one, so I am turning to the big www for ideas. I added raspberries, banana and a peanut butter powder to this smoothie. If you aren’t familiar with peanut butter powder, give it a try!

It has the peanut butter flavor we all love, but it’ s lower in fat and calories than regular peanut butter (45 vs. 190 calories) because they squish the fatty oils out and don’t add anything extra like preservatives. Not all smoothie bowls were created equal! Most are packed with far more sugar and carbs than your body needs, so it ends up stored as unwanted fat.

  • I make mashed Banana & Peanut Butter grilled sandwiches for me & my Husband all the time… yum I also make Peanut Butter Milkshakes, I can hardly wait to try your idea!!! Yum

  • What does a peanut butter and banana smoothie taste like? I would like to try one because you never described the taste of it in your video.

  • Choco-cherry nice cream!
One frozen banana, 7-ish frozen cherries, splash of almond milk, cacao powder, vanilla powder (or extract) and a medjool date for some sweetness! I top mine with little pieces of roasted hazelnuts which you can get pre-roasted at Lidl. X

  • Many countries have the dry powdered version of Knödel dough where you have to mix it with water and let it sit Might taste not the same but still is good.

  • I’m american so I put way more peanut butter than this called for. Also i put vanilla protein powder… all I can say is that it’s fucked up how good this smoothie is

  • What the hell is “tea time”? . Haha ahh the British, our beloved cousins across the pond. Loved the video and copied the recipe to the letter. You have a new fan in Vancouver, Canada!

  • i got a recipe
1 a little over ripe avocado
    2 cups of flour
    1.5 cups of cocoa powder
    1.4 cup of sugar
    3 teaspoons of baking powder
    0.5 cup of oil
    2 cups of soy milk
1 cup of chocolate chips or chunks

mix it all up and bake it 180C
    enjoy sum brownies <3

  • If you mix a bit of Coconut Flour (or maybe blended oats) into the peanut butter, it is way easier to form balls and to dip them into the chocolate afterwards

  • I really love your videos and the recipes are also sooo delicious. For the Chese rolls I can recommend to put the finished roll in the freezer so you can cut them better to pieces:)

  • I added a little bit more milk and a scoop of chocolate powder and it was great. I’ve done similar recipes like this since I was eight but definitely giving a like to the video

  • The lazy potato bites look like Brazilian cheese bread. It’s traditionally made out of tapioca flour, oil, cheese, and eggs. The vegan version uses mashed potato instead of these last ingredients and the final result is incredibly similar to your number 4 recipe! I loved this!

  • Oh a classic for me is chopped fruit and nuts with soy milk kind of like cereal. Diced apple in a bowl with sliced almonds and soy milk, or FROZEN BERRIES and cold soy milk which gets to be this amazing frozen-yogurty texture if you stir it up.

  • Obsessed with crumble atm just mix vegan butter flour and oats together with your hands until crumbly add whatever fruit you have, fresh or frozen, to a tin with sweetener of your choice put the crumble mix over and bake til golden brown so easy and delicious

  • I used to love cheezy biscuits so the puff pastry with cheese sauce looks similar.Definitely going to give a go.Thanks and I really like this series.☺

  • My favorite favorite favorite weird snack is sweet potato bars. Bake a big sweet potato (the white ones are best but any will work) until its super soft, then mix some oatmeal/oat flour, whatever nuts and seeds you have (pecans and walnuts are my favorite) and maybe baking powder (idk if that does anything tho). Form the dough into bar shapes OR spread it flat and cut it into bars, and then bake until they seem done.

  • Hi Mina! Are you by any chance Persian? Asking because your first name is Persian. Also you are beautiful and I love your voice. Let’s not forget your amazing content and I am not even vegan but I love watching your videos!

  • Mina I love your videos, so inspiring!
I love mixing coconut yogurt with Tahin and some sweet syrup or jam. You can also add cocoa powder or anything you would like to. It’s sooo yumm!

  • I weirdly love peanut butter and apple it is really good for people and gives you just as much energy as coffee and it fills you up

  • mashed sweet potato, mustard, lemon juice, tahini, desiccated coconut, toasted nuts, mix together and eat as a dip

    or

mashed sweet potato, maple syrup, tahini, cacao powder (chocolate mousse but better)

  • I have awful anxiety but your videos always manage to make me feel calm and at peace (whilst also providing top tier recipes). Thank you for all you do:’)

  • I wasn’t vegan when I discovered you, but your videos are what kicked off my interest in going vegan.

A couple months later, I now eat completely vegan. I still have some cleaning supplies and miscellanious things made with leather/feathers/etc, but I plan on not buying them anymore when they run out or break.

I would like to thank you for introducing me to how awesome a vegan diet can be, all the fun and interesting things that I’ve seen you eat in your what I eat in a week videos really made me see how amazing vegan food is!

  • The cheesy rolls seems delicious!!! too bad I never saw a paste made of potato but why not doing it with real potatoes at the beginning:)

  • In Hungary we have those potato things, but calling it potato-flatbread (or lángos, there isn’t really an english word for that), and we mostly eat it with peach jam. I’m nute sure here’s something premade thing like that, but i saw a similar in dm (wich is a german supermarket-chain) so it can be that. Also saw this in a powder form? Maybe…
Oh and I’ve been eating my toasts with garlic since I was 6 thought this is a common thing

  • Coral lentils (or red lentils? I just litteraly translate the word we use in french haha but I think it’s red lentils in english) with some almond butter taste together really great! Either hot, like a porridge (make sure you don’t put too much water for not having tasteless lentils) or with a bowl of leftovers lentils that comes out the fridge

  • I made 2 pb&js, searched ‘Matt stonie pb&j’ (cause why wouldn’t he have a video on that?) n then finally finished my second sandwich when he started his third attempt

  • Love these!! I’ll definitely try them out soon!
My fave snack lately has been this kind-of snickers bar. Basically cut few dates in half and fill them with peanuts (or any other nuts you prefer, peanut butter would also work) then dip the dates in some molten dark chocolate, then freeze for an hour or so. Taste just like a candy bar!!

  • to the person reading this:
You are amazing, stay safe and healthy during quarantine
i hope all your dreams become true.. mine is to hit 1k before my birthday and i am struggling to get there

  • it’s nothing too special but it’s a good alternative to the classical pb& apple

I love combining peaches with cashewbutter

also I always add chiaand flaxseeds for some crunch

  • Try this one:

    Dates and Nuts Bites

Use seedless dates and heat the pulp up in a microwave till very soft, let it rest to cool a little but not too much, chop up some almonds and cashews into small pieces and using hand gloves fill the nuts into the cavity in dates or just roll out the dates and nuts into small balls. Let it rest in the freezer for about 5 and that’s it!

No need to add sugar because the dates are naturally very sweet.

  • peanut butter and baby carrots. (almond butter tastes good if you have no pb). also a rice cake with cream cheese and cucumber slices

  • Matt stonie: I’m hungry
Grandma: Eat Pizza, pasta, cakes tacos, nachos, Krispy kremes, chicken, burgers, chicken burgers, regular burgers, fries, rice, fired rice, extra meat, huge pastrami sandwiches and a bunch of doritos.

    Matt stonie: ok

  • choccy brownie mug cake (the measurements are eyeballed so be weary)
    2 tablespoons of flour
1 2/2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
(i add about a teaspoon of finely shredded almonds to it)
    pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of peanut butter (i love using crunchy biscoff spread instead!!!!)
2 1/2 tablespoons of oat milk (or some other milk substitute)

takes about 1 minute in the microwave
you can: sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top when it’s done or put a dollop of vegan n*tella in the middle before baking it. I’ve seen versions where instead of that much oat milk people add fresh-brewed coffee instead but i hate coffee so that’s a no from me

  • It is really good and high in protein but it also has high in carbohydrates which is not good for you it is the banana of course but I guess if you drink it every so often it’s not too bad

  • Gummy
*First you need a gummy mold
    *Gelatin
    *Fruit juice
But is better to juice the fruit

Take the juice if needed add sweetener after add gelatin than boil a little (2-5min) lastly put in mold than freeze overnight.P.S when take them out let them defrosted a little and it’s easier to use a syringe when placing into mold.
    FAVORITE: apple,spinach, pineapple

  • Flour tortilla, cinnamon sugar, butter roll up and microwave for 15 30 seconds. Also add chocolate chips and dip in agave it’s my fav thing lol

  • one my favvv snacks:
    almond butter in a bowl
(also Nutella if you’re craving extra sweet)
    some blueberries on top
    microwave for 45ish sec
top with granola, ice cream, honey, etc
kinda tastes like pie filling, love it <3

  • Thanks for the constant inspiration to try out new foods/recipes sometimes I get stuck eating and cooking the same things all over again. But you remind me of all the yummy stuff I have yet to try

  • you should try spaghetti with ground up poppy seeds (you can either blend them or just put them in a coffee grinder) and sugar (no sauce, just sugar. when the sugar melts, due to the hot pasta, it melts into a sugary, syrupy, something lol). my grandma makes this <33 (:

  • Fav snack: chocolate chip eatable cookie dough
You need a new jar tahini, chocolate chips and maple syrup.
Take the oil out of the jar so you only have the thick part of the tahini. Put around a tbs tahini and add maple syrup and chocolate to your liking. Enjoy!

  • Thanx for this video! For the peanut butter bites, you can use dattes: you just put the pb in them, maybe with some peanuts for extra crunch, then roll them into the chocolate, freeze, and there you have your natural snickers bars 😉

  • guys i tried this smoothie and it was gross would not recommend to a friend i give it a 0/10 i am sure there a better recipes out there

  • Who else just lives in the United States and we just wanna make a fudging smoothie and they be talking about tea time and crumpets

  • Tip: almond milk and crunchy peanut butter makes it taste soooo much better. And it works for lactose intolerant people as well

  • Toasted crumpet + natural peanut butter + dark chocolate broken up into pieces (the choc will melt as the crumpet has just come out of the toaster). The choc should be around 70% cocoa solids

  • Dạ dày và và và cũng cũng vậy mà cũng nói được tiếng anh của em là người có thể có nhiều cái khác nhau mà thôi kệ nó chứ đừng có mà đầy ra đó mà có khi nào nó ra

  • Ooo going to have to try some of these, thanks Mina.
I like to have dates and put an almond or cashew inside. But when I’m feeling like something more indulgent, I fill the date with nut butter and cover with melted chocolate and top with pomegranate seed or bits of fruit. Then freeze and enjoy! So good.

  • The thing about fast food eaters is the reason they can eat so much is cus the faster you eat then more you can eat… the food hasn’t reached his stomach yet

  • I want to try a peanut butter & jelly sandwich for the first time in my life but I dont think there is any jello here in my country, could I use jam?

  • Try making these amazing vegan non bake apple crumble
All you need are 1 apple, 1/2 cup oats, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 2 tbsp mapoe syrup and as mich cinnamon as you like.
So fisrtoff, in a pan toast the oats with the chia seeds until crunchy. Set aside and add pb.
Then slice you apple and put them in the skillet. From time to time add water and cinnamon and repeat until cooked. Put the maple syrup in the last second and then plate it with adding the “crumble” mixture on top

  • excellent, I’m looking for muffin for less than 100 calories, and simple one, since I don’t like much cooking, with whole wheat flour or oat bran if it’s possible, any suggestion. thank you

  • Man the quality of your channel is unreal! Awesome job, and not to mention I am miring those gains is there a recipe for that as well? LOL keep it up Diet Chef I am glad to be a new supporter and subscriber my brother!

  • awesome! Question though, what difference does it make if one decides not to add flour to it?

Also please do more of that thing in future videos where u use a fork and peel it in front of the camera, would be good for the viewers to judge the texture of it:D
