Although there hasn’t been peer-reviewed research into this, making your bed may be correlated with general happiness. Hunch.com surveyed 68,000. The most obvious benefit of making your bed every day is pretty simple: it looks nice. Like most bedrooms, yours is probably decorated around the bed, making the area where you sleep the focal. When you are a mom, life is busy!

And when you’re busy, who has time to make the bed? So why should busy moms take extra time out of their morning routine to make the bed? Here’s our reasons why you should make your bed: Starts Your Day With Order. That’s not an easy thing to do every morning. And of course some people get up, they run or they do whatever their routine is.

The idea of making the bed is it’s the same sense of discipline. It’s. If you make the bed every day, the act of doing so starts to get quicker and quicker—in part because a bed that’s made every day gets less disheveled while. Here’s how the theory goes: If you immediately make your bed with the sunrise, the tight sheets will trap millions of dust mites that live on your bed, feeding off your dead skin cells and sweat and potentially contributing to asthma and allergy problems. If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day.

It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another. By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. But there are some reasons it’s best not to make your bed in the morning, and they have to do with your health. Making your bed first thing in the morning can help productivity and it makes your home look tidy.

There are many good reasons to make your bed right away. Making your bed every morning can give you a lot of health benefits. Pets, for one, often use the bed as a resting place during the day. If your bed isn’t made, your pet will transfer whatever residue is on their paws to your sheets.

The last thing you want is to roll around on dirt, grime, or litter while you’re sleeping. When most of the space in your room is taken up by your bed, it is especially important to make this an ongoing habit. Just because you lack the space, doesn’t mean your standards should be lowered.

Honour the fact that good things can come out of.

  • oh yes! I have to make it because if i don’t it makes me nuts!!!! my husband who was in the navy and was forced to says he doesn’t have to any more. 😉

  • What an incredible speech! When I first heard this, I did start every day by making my bed, it really made a difference. integrity is everything.

  • I love your app, I am 12 and it helps me make good habits for when I’m older and not be lazy it’s made me read and exercise more!! Seriously it is so good and I’m happier!:D

  • The closing fade-out starts in the middle of the whole thing’s fraking punchline. WTF was the point of uploading this, then? Let the punchline sink in for effect, FFS.

  • Glad he was speaking at the The University of Texas, the Texas home of liberal protesting. They need some conservative values in Austin.

  • Okay
Making my bed is not going to save a little girl
A 14 year old Christian girl was forcefully abducted
And was forcefully married to her abductor
Law and her government is not helping her
    There must be way
    I can’t find it
    I’m still a child
    Do something please

  • Learned from an early age, that doing things right the first time saves time, energy, and you become way more productive throughout your daily life. The NAVY also taught me a lot, but most of the wisdom came from my parents.

  • If you don’t start the day making your bed, you’ve just started the day with an excuse.

You’ll then justify reasons to avoid anything after that.

  • I started to make my bed really neat every morning. And after just a couple of weeks I had aquiered a weapon and started a war. So there really is something about the bed making that makes you a soldier!

  • I remember this Admiral each morning, as I make my bed. This speech hits home more so now, than ever before. To think that the many have been under his wing, brings much hope to me. Admiral McRaven is like an ideal president, to me. Thank you so much, Sir.

  • It’s been almost 3 years since I discovered this speech. I was in my last year of highschool, overweight and with no plans for the future. Since then, I lost 65 pounds, I joined the military, I changed my lifestyle and I found my significant other. But it all started with making my bed every single morning and being consistent with everything. So if I did it, everyone can. Just chase your dreams. ( PS. sorry for my English as it is not my main language )

  • Making your bed every day is overrated. There are even benefits to leaving it unmade (like allowing it to more thoroughly dry after sweating all night, and killing off dust mites between laundry days by letting sheets air out and exposing them to light). Since I like to stay up at night, I tend to sleep until it’s close to time to leave for work as it is. There are other small things you can complete to start the day off on the right foot… I count taking care of morning hygiene and contemplating my day as a couple of those tasks. Not making the bed leaves me more time to prep a quick breakfast and get on the road. Making the bed fulfills people’s OCD, but it’s hardly important unless you want it to be presentable for company, in which case, you can just make your bed on that day. As long as you don’t leave food out and maintain clean surroundings, making your bed is pretty pointless among daily duties. I don’t see much use in making it after the initial deed once I’ve washed my bedding.

  • Whats with the Xylophone or electronic audio that is conflicting with the lecture.. What is the purpose? Why clutter the presentation?

  • I have a routine every morning, wake up, take my tee and boxers into the bathroom and turn on the shower, while that warms up I make the bed and lay my pants dress shirt and tie out.

  • World needs leaders like this militar!!!! Right now, people will follow him not wondering about trust in politics, example, courage, constant, honor, truth and someone that got his position by hard work not cheating

  • Sir, thank you so much for such an inspiring, enlightening and encouraging speech! You are a real asset for your wonderful country and a beacon for the world! Sue.

  • Making your bed is bad for you!

  • I have a tip. Might not be for everyone, but it certainly makes making my bed a lot easier. I actually don’t sleep under the covers. I lay a blanket down on top of the duvet and sleep with two other blankets on top of me. The next day I just fold the blankets and put them in my closet. It takes less than a minute to smooth out the duvet.:)

  • Do NOT trust these leaders:   The Costliest Day in SEAL Team Six History. On August 6, 2011, insurgents shot down a Chinook transport helicopter in Afghanistan, killing all 38 people on board, including 15 Navy SEALS from Team Six’s Gold Squadron…. Of the 30 Americans killed, 22 were Navy personnel, and 17 were SEALs.

  • HOOAH, sir, as we say in the Army! Yes, making your bed is important because it helps to make your room look neat, tidy, and Less cluttered. Also, it is one less thing to have to do later.

  • “The war is not on those fields, It’s in the training
In your head and in your body you will lose the war if you lose your fight to keep going”

  • The last thing a mother needs, is a General giving her advice. One mom does more to change the world than a whole team of generals. Wake up people, general’s are followers, and mom’s are leaders. Just do as your told, General!

  • Ain’t nobody got time for that, I’ve accomplished a lot and i’ve had a lot of good days..and don’t make my bed.. I stopped making my bed when I moved out of my parents house and have never looked back. No regrets.

  • Excuse me? Perfection? Perfection is what caused me to hate and split from my old music teacher. If i have to be perfect then i’m sorry but i’m not perfect. I don’t want to join the torturous training camps so i won’t have to worry about it.:)

  • Admiral William, You are a very convincing presenter of your life, BUT, I noted early in your presentation, the exclusion of the need of FAITH in GOD. I am much older than you, but am slowly realizing the approach of that big meeting in the sky, and the need to be prepared for ETERNITY. I now know that, that friend you suggest I should seek out to help you on your journey, must be God. If you want to change the world, you will not find a better friend to journey with. FYI, the second most powerful alternative is the devil, the Prince of liars. Unfortunately, our choice now seems to be the Prince. How I wished you would have passed this note on to your audience, and convinced them to “take that risk”.

  • Dear Admiral William H. McRaven, please save us from Gates, Bezos and Soros and their Corona plot, turning the planet into a fascistic Dystopia. Save us of the menace we face by the mRNA vaccination, turning humans into GMOs. Save the Constitution and the Freedom as once intended by the Founding Fathers. God Bless America.

The training he talks about is nothing else but shock doctrine by consent. Yes, the candidates sign their own shock and trauma indoctrination, their own brainwash course.

The deliberate self infliction of their bodies, pushing it to its limits whereby mental strains are purposefully challenged and also put under extreme stress for prolonged periods of torture is in fact putting yourself under the same conditions of people who are programmed by coersive rulers and governments, dictators. The initial point may be different however the conditioning is exactly the same: Breaking down, switching off individualism and independent thought and rebuilding actors with single unified mechanized purpose.

He rambles about things that have absolutely nothing to do with his poster: The army, the instrument used for covert destabilisation and open invasion. That’s what the military of the Anglosaxon sections of the imperial warfare machine represent today. Nothing else. Everything leads to physical coërcion of nations who do not want to comply to the economic goals and agenda of the hegemony.

  • I Respect him and all Seals…..but Making your bed is a waste of time.. Native Americans were Warriors, they didn’t even have beds to make.

  • Great wisdom. It is the little things that count. Perhaps it’s our generation, but I have also made my bed daily. I like my environment aesthetically pleasing. I find having my personal space tidy and in order, makes for a peaceful and inviting space.

  • I am very lazy person… I never make my bed, and I’m always like sleepy so I sleep 2 times(3 hours each) per day, mainly after having my lunch or breakfast… as a result I have become an owl…
if all this is happening because of the unmade bed, then I should do something about it…

  • i use to make my bad few times a month, after watching this i do it every day and i make it best i can! Best quite is, if my day is miserable, it feels different when i see that bed well made:D

  • while watching this video, I thought of the speech the admiral gave before you mentioned this is inspired by that same video xD i know the video because rebecca from robeson design mentioned the video in one of her videos not too long ago.

  • The wisdom of any mundane act has proven to me many times over again. It keeps you focused on using your mind for simplistic tasks at the expense of complex ones. This does a fantastic job of inhibiting you from solving difficult
problems, planning your life as you see fit, and keeping you too tired to make other plans on your own time. Turns you into a dog. A dog for guys who want a human for a dog.

  • Theres so many other productive things to do instead of making your bed. Making your bed is like ironing your underwear, fucking waste of time. I guess thats what happens when you clean bathrooms with toothbrushes.

  • I hope admiral McCraven becomes at lease chairman of the joint chiefs of Secretary of Defense he is so professional at what he does

  • It’s a habit that I have been working on. I’ve noticed when I do make the bed, the cats can’t get fur, litter, and dirt in the sheets, so it’s good incentive!

  • Find your life goal that you are willing to pursue what-ever the cost. Matthew 16:26 don’t settle for less just because the price is low.

  • My band teacher made us watch this. I can confirm that making your bed every day does help you to be happier and even healthier and more inspired.

  • I and my husband had the privilege to not only witness our son graduate this day with a mathematic degree but also listen to this Navy gentlemen’s speech. Absolutely beautiful day!!!!

  • It makes your room look cleaner. I as any only child up to my teens, had a bunk bed. So that’s two beds to make. Sorta. And now, as an adult, i want a “King-sized bunk-bed constructed with no nails or screws. So i can take it apart if i need to have it moved.

  • This guy doesn’t think long term. I’m not obligated to make my bed every morning but just as you sleep a third of your life away I can only imagine how much time he spent making the bed.

  • There are 328 million people in the US this story has 11 million views. This man’s speech is the most heroic speech I have ever heard since MLK. It’s a speech that WILL change the world if everyone hears it. I wish I could shake this mans hand. Amazing.

  • Well, frankly, I think we make way too much of making your bed. Don’t get me wrong, I see your point about doing the little things right, but I know a guy who’s father apparently has OCD or something, because he goes ballistic if his son doesn’t make his bed, first thing on arising, even when the son needs to pee! I mean, seriously, let him at least first go to the bathroom. And the thing is, the boy’s a model kid: well disciplined, doesn’t do drugs nor any of that junk.

Why, just minutes ago I watched another YouTube video of a highly successful internet marketer whose morning routine doesn’t involve making his bed. So, failure to make ones bed every day doesn’t necessarily prevents one from succeeding in bigger tasks.

  • I don’t thing this apply to people that is more aware, for some people, accomplishments are action that I decided to take, it never feels good to some people to do what other people also do, it kinda underestimate what a person can do and it kinda questions the point of life, just a thought.

  • Yes, I use sheet straps on the bottom corners on the top and bottom sheet so all I have to do is pull the top sheet up with the comforter, done.
What is the spinning mirrored tall thing in your corner? I’m guessing storage/ shelves?? What is is and where did you get it? Thanks!

  • In premise its good. In reality this method of making your bed first thing promotes the growth of dust mites. Instead pull the sheets down and let it air out. Make it a few hours later or when you come home from work. This will allow the bed to dry from body moisture and kill the dust mites.

  • Being a sugar cookie has made me a stronger Individual, My Father told me upon completing basic training his Orders had not been established. He was given a choice to go home my Father asked if he was allowed to reenter basic training for a second time I’m so proud of him Master Sargent Alvin Donald Dressler an Army Aircorp Veteran at the age of 94 he resides at Brandywine Assisted Living in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware his job calling out positions of enemy aircraft his position was on a B -29 Super Fortress lower ball turret

  • This speech has changed my life. I’m starting to make better decisions and I feel like I can do anything. I watch this everytime I feel down and like I’m about to give up. Then this lifts my spirits and motivates me to get up. Thank-you sir.

  • I watched this video about 5 years ago and for some reason it just stuck with me and everyday since the first thing I do when I get up is make my bed. I honestly cannot emphasise how important this is and for such a simple thing the benefits are enormous.

  • That is an amazing story. It makes me want to fill my bag with a countless number of songs and words to use in those moments when myself and others want to give up. I will remember that image of the men up to their necks in mud, singing together and raising the temperature, spirit and vibration of the whole group. I am sobbing because I’ve spent so much of my life wanting to give up and this small story is so powerful. I want to be that one voice who starts singing, even if my voice shakes. Thank you for the inspiration and for leading by example.

  • Communists are burning down America and Hillary’s favorite Admiral is whining about Post Office funding. What a disgrace to the uniform.

  • fuck that I made my need every morning on active duty. I got so lazy i used shirt stays to pop my bed into a perfectly made bed after a nights sleep. I hated making my bed. It made me feel like I was wasting my time. I don’t do it anymore and I like not having to do it.

  • So basically there’s no real reason to make your bed haha. 2 min a day to do something pointless is over 12 hours a year wasted. That’s a lot of time.

  • Every page in my diary has a list of the things I need/want to achieve that day.
The first item, every day, are the initials: “MYB”. Make Your Bed.

  • Make bed: create ideal environment for bed bugs to thrive. Airing out bed first may remove that risk, but who has time to waste, besides woefully mis-focused ultra responsible humans.

  • I strongly urge everyone to look into some unknown bad things the government and the wealthy use the military for. Check out YouTube videos of Noam Chomsky. He talks in detail about it. Another good source is historian Howard Zinn and General Smedley Butler. Smedley Butler was a Marine General who also talked about this stuff that was going on even 100 years ago. Thanks!

  • You should know about Extortion 17 that “hero” was not so great for our the bravest of brave Navy Seals. Extortion 17 could be a bigger scandal and betrayal of Americans than Benghazi. While Benghazi resulted in four American deaths, Extortion 17 resulted in 38 deaths, including nearly two dozen Navy SEALs. Many of these SEALs were made famous, credited with the killing of Osama bin Laden.

  • I’m watching this again and again for several years.. This is one of the most influential, inspirational etc etc..speech ever gave in human history! Just by listening to his voice he’s not just a leader way more than that!

Thank God Trump is making this deep state fucker uncomfortable.

  • I’ve just started making my bed more often. The reason why I haven’t been is because I simply wasn’t proud of it. It was old, ugly, and wasn’t even the right size for the bed. Now that we have a new bed set that I’m proud of I am now more inclined to make the bed. The set is beautiful which makes me happy and gives me a calming affect due to: accomplishment of getting one cleaning task done, no more nagging thought of needing a new bed set, it’s simply calming because it’s beautiful, and it changes the whole dynamic of the room. I actually look forward to going to the bedroom now whereas before not so much. So, it really does make a big difference. I’ve seen the Admiral’s video and it’s awesome. I do agree it makes the room look cleaner even if there’s still tons of unsorted clothes in baskets lying on the ground. lol. If all the counters are cleared off are cleared off and the bed is made I’m half way there! It’s just those darn clothes. I’m so behind right now in putting them away that it’s just piled up sky high. Went on 2 week vacation for Christmas and had to immediately get back to life so I started just doing tons of loads of laundry so we’d have clean clothes but haven’t yet found the time to put them away properly. Been so busy just getting back to our schedules! I have finished the laundry so everything is clean now I just gotta plan a whole day to put them away. Almost there!

  • Good advice. Has fuck all to do with politics. Whatever happened to the idea of shared purpose as humans regardless of insignificant things like race and political ideology?

  • it is actually not healthy to cover up your bed right after getting up…. so yeah… this is nonsens. Also: feeling a sense of accomplishments? Seriously?

  • I’m going to start doing this but something I already do is in a similar mindset. All of my showers are cold ones. In the morning, especially when the rooms cold its a difficult prospect but you do it and not only does it help you to wake up you’ve challenged yourself immediately. It genuinely helps. Also, a cold shower before getting into bed is an amazing feeling and honestly after a week of doing it you come to know what to expect and you take pleasure in it and the discomfort fades. For me it just helps to set my state of mind. I’m always aware of why I do it and it forces me to think “I could take a nice warm shower but I won’t I’ll challenge myself now” and it makes it easier to then tackle bigger challenges in the day.

  • Did your governmemt made the bed after leaving vietnam!? Was it the case in Irak? Will it be in Syria? What te prurpose of making the bed when distroying the roof of another? Morals are life, only when it serves the good

  • Similar benefits come from keeping the kitchen sink very clean (perhaps cleaning it thoroughly before going to bed). Small thing that’s connected to other things: can’t have a clean sink unless the dishes that were in it are washed or at least put in the dishwasher. And once the sink is clean you’ll want the adjacent counters clean as well…and so on…and so on…

  • Well some people do thier beds and feel like they have made a great progress in their lives others graduate from university make discoveries become famous scientists with nobel prizes… Well some will just be satisfied with making their beds, awesome motivation:/

  • Nothing more inspiring than the ability to complete tasks, give by a higher instance of power. F*ck everything that’s individual and against the rules and embrace the cubicle.

  • The Navy, The Navy Seal selection process, SEALS, “gifted” programs: limited opportunities, human designed constraints, human designed success/failure ratios…. and then relating this to society. Humm, more of the same in the USA. These old ways are going to change what? This a message is to keep playing the same game or worse as a society. Executive ideas. Insulated thinking. One-way roads. Admirals, generals and executives don’t admit that excepting some notable occasions, they “ring-the-bell” daily, early-and-often-and-go-right-on-living. And this was an easy, easy speech for Adm. McRaven to write and deliver preach about what you know, what you think you know, and what you think your audience wants to hear. It’ll take ’em, the intelligent ones, awhile, nowadays weeks or months in many cases, to see more clearly even if the make the ‘cut Sir.

  • I spent 6 years in the army, and I did make my bed most mornings because we had too, but there was one morning because I slept in a bit I was rushing about, so I never made the bed, of all morning’s for that too happen the OC was walking about our rooms and seen my bed. I got put on guard duty for it, and I had to write an essay on why it was important to make your bed
I’ve been out the army for a couple of years now, and I still always make the bed, and tbh I probably wouldn’t bother if it wasn’t for that. But it does make a room far more presentable

  • Why can’t I just do a simple task that actually is important and i can feel proud of like making breakfast everyday for my family. making my bed is pointless.

  • Hi! I love hearing the Admiral William McRaven, So much common sense!! please take a look at our channel! I think you will love all love it!

  • Gunnery Sgt. Hartman: How tall are you, private?

    Pvt. Cowboy: Sir, five-foot-nine, sir.

Gunnery Sgt. Hartman: Five-foot-nine, I didn’t know they stacked shit that high

  • I started and he is 100% correct I made it and when I come home from a crappy day and walk into my room I smile and forget about it but the one time I forgot to make my bed I came home and disappointed my bed wasn’t made I didn’t make it never again did I make that mistake

  • 50 people don’t plan on making their bed in the morning from the stats. The other 1999 will probably think about making their bed for the first time in a while as they run out of the house. Be the 1 tomorrow.

  • Personally I find making the bed extremely pointless. No benefits come from it besides it “looking nice”. If you really need a task to help you jumpstart other tasks like it shows in the video. Do something that’ll actually benefit you. Like doing push-ups, pull ups, or plank. Doing some sort of exercise first thing you wake up is way more beneficial than wasting that time making your bed.

  • Why make my bed when I get up. I’m just going to mess it up again when I go asleep. I can use that time I would of spent making my bed on more productive things. Like eating breakfast, getting ready for work. Work a 12 hour day and drive 1 hour each way to work. Making the bed doesn’t pay the bills, busting my hump at work does.

  • I realize that only dreams can’t change the world. Now, this honoured Admiral’s speech is far more motivating than the Oscar’s movies.

  • Sorry, I have no interest to check off a task or develop a habit that is completely unnecessary. Yay I can pat myself on the back for doing something where the only point is that I get to feel accomplished. I don’t buy it. I don’t even like how it feels to lay under blankets that are all spread out and tucked. I want to wrap myself in a cocoon and that’s so much easier with loose covers.

  • It doesn’t take two minutes for me to make my bed. I usually move a lot in my sleep (tossing and turning) and sometimes my bed sheets even get on the carpet because of how much movement I make. I have two layers of bed sheets and another one beneath them to rest on and the mattress cover that constantly pops up. It’s really tiring to fix it all, I sometimes just sleep over my blankets so I won’t have to deal with making the bed. Plus, my bed isn’t on the center of the room like yours, it’s against the wall and moving the mattress makes the cover pop off again and then the blankets won’t flatten so I can’t tuck them underneath the mattress. It’s rare you’ll see my bed made, if it is made, it’s made very poorly. The only time I make nicely is when I actually do have time to make it nicely or if friends are coming over. Making the bed is only messing it all up again at night. It does NOT take two minutes to make the bed for me. ;-;

  • Who does man think he is you see I don’t have a big brother and the first night of bootcamp the drill Sargent busted thru the barracks saw me standing next to my bed and ask me why aren’t you sleeping I told him I’m waiting for you

  • It is quite interesting how such a large audience can be so easily mesmerized and impressed by a strikingly voiced handsome man a in a uniform finely decorated with shiny ornaments, and a speech orated with stoic confidence so filled with the obvious yet so substantially void. How much more empty are the lives of an audience that is left “speechless” by it. It is quite curious that such a figure of American “freedom” would include a communist in its register of names as a means for inspiration. I am left to wonder how the Admiral, sworn not to the service of Americans but to political parasites, if allowed to speak freely, feels about the Constitutional violations and moral atrocities his Government masters commit regularly against the American People. What would he say about the political dissolution of our government by the People and for the People in exchange for the current United States Corporation of which he is an Officer? Certainly a man of his intelligence and strength of character would expose such meticulously guarded fraud if not an abiding comrade. I was fully expecting the Admiral to gallantly laud “our Democracy” in direct contradiction to Article IV, Section 4. Is the Admiral aware of the West Point cadets who openly swore allegiance to Marx on graduation day? Truly motivational, truly inspirational, would his speech have been had he spoke of our duty to God, of our country’s rewards for our loyalty to same. Absent were the elements which safeguard our liberty, establish justice, lead to the security of our private property rights, and separate America from a heathen world. By invitation, this Texas university aims to produce hollow committed warriors, rather than freedom fighters who understand that there is a necessary season for war, not industry for it. Shall we depend on our mighty military to protect our Natural rights to refuse to conceal our image of our Creator God with facial masking and forced corporate injections, or will we rebuild our militias and defend ourselves from our rogue governors? Are We the People servants to government or its masters?

  • why is there a need to make a bed when you’re just gonna get into it and mess it up each night?

Also why does it need to be perfect i mean it should be okay just to put your blankets in the right place and not have to fold it

  • BUENAS TARDES! MUNDIAL ETERNAMENTE E INSUSTITUIBLE RUTH REMIGIA RAMIREZ CHIRIBOGA! CONDIVIDE EL VIDEO DE EL ADMIRAL WILLIAM MCRAVEN! UN LIDERES NATURALES! MUNDIAL ETERNAMENTE E INSUSTITUIBLE RUTH REMIGIA RAMIREZ CHIRIBOGA! @ )

  • I was loading Age of Wonders Planetfall in the background while I was watching, and the main menu music started right at 0:57 when he said, “If you make your bed every morning…” and instead of tabbing to the game to mute it, I just let it play. It fit really well xD

  • lol Trump and his supporters said this guy is a fraud and fake. He’s a fucking UT alum, SEAL, leader of the raid team that killed bin laden….. fucking morons

    https://www.washingtonpost.com./world/national-security/trump-attacks-retired-navy-admiral-for-not-capturing-osama-bin-laden-faster/2018/11/18/b3e1bbb0-eb69-11e8-9236-bb94154151d2_story.html

  • I barely have time to brush my teeth and you want me to make my tile patterned, spongebob squarepants bed in the morning? Hell nah.

  • Communists are burning down America and Hillary’s favorite Admiral is whining about Post Office funding. What a disgrace to the uniform.

  • I’m slowly getting into the habit of making my bed after a nights sleep, that is if I sleep in my room at all. But my room always has a sense of clutter, even though it’s clean, any advice?

  • How in the hell would I have the fortitude to make my bed after my waking bong hit? My bed is obviously going to immediately get messed up again.  WTF?

  • This “man” has said that John Brenner is a pillar of honesty and integrity, this “man” is not who you all think he is. He played a massive role in the cover up of the shooting down of Extortion 17, this “man” is another symptom of everything wrong with America’s govt. and military, it is infiltrated by those devoted to protecting the globalist pedophile empire and people need to wake the hell up fast. Our govt and military has been infiltrated by leftists and their Islamist allies…….all with this scumbag’s blessing. John Brennan is the enemy and this man is his steadfast ally…..think about it. Read about how Seal Team 6 was eliminated in order to coverup the truths about Osama Bin Laden and 9-11. There was a time when I would never have imagined I’d be writing such things and the truth is painful to accept but it is the truth. This POS is working so hard to get Trump out of office because he knows Trump does not ascribe to the “let’s all screw over the US taxpayer and sell out the country” way of thinking that permeated the White House for decades. Wake up people, this is not an honorable man. He covered up the assassination of our own men and got that next star because of it. He’s an Obama lacky and a traitor.

  • Superb presentation extremely motivating but why l finish with a horned at the end??? What is the message? voluntary gesture..only the satan children make this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX9D-I4BNzc

  • My mother always recommended giving the bed an “airing” before beginning to make the bed. I remember this tip from childhood. Mrs. McCully, the grandmother of a friend, used to tell us that if you make your bed and wash the dishes and pots in the sink after every meal, your home will always “seem” cleaner. She was absolutely correct. A tip I have used and shared all my life.

  • Making your bed first thing in the morning traps in this moisture, allowing your bed to be a home for up to 1.5 million dust mites.

  • I started doing this and now my life has changed in so many ways! I’ve started going out more, making more friends and most importantly pulling more birds @ saucy

  • Learned to make my bed in rehab. It’s the first thing I’ve done for nearly 6 years every day now.
I love the way you put it into words! Thank you:)

  • Another reason:You will lock in all of the moisture from when you were sleeping and keep the dust mites on your bed from dying!! Thanks for the allergies and asthma!!
    #Dontmakeyourbed

  • Yes I do make my bed everyday and if I don’t I feel off all day sometimes if I don’t have time my amazing roommate will do it for me and I do the same for her. Also being in a dorm room about your only non floor sitting option is the beds. Ps I love your videos! And could you do a mirror cleaning video our mirror in our dorm has a brown tint to it and I clean it with windex at least once a week. How should I clean it?

  • I still dont see the point of it. I know it’ll make us disciplined and tidy but idk…i use my bed most of the time since i dont have a desk to do my work and all. And sitting on the bed wrapped up in covers is so comfortable.

  • that people can depend on you and be a better person with the people who need it and not discriminate because of their appearance and by the people who need it and be better people

  • Every morning I wake up telling myself that making my bed is gonna take up to much time… and I usually end up doing it despite me being 100% lazy lol. However no matter how disastrous my day is when I come home and my bed is done it does give you a feeling of organization, accomplishment, peace, and tranquility

  • With style today, all you have to do is  bring the sheets and bedspread up to the top and turn them down.  Then freshen the pillows and you are done.

  • I was recommended to read his book and the last section was this speech. I decided to watch this as I awed through the last few pages. Everyone who watched this video should read his book called “Make Your Bed”.

  • Found your channel via the 3-minute toilet clean. Will definitely have to check out your others! On the subject of bed-making, I too grew up hating this chore but had a mom that made me do it every stinkin’ day! Of course it becomes habit after so long, and I still do it today. I’m 52 now and realize that it also helps me stretch and get moving in the morning! (I am up at 5:30 for work, so that’s no excuse either lol!)

  • We Don’t not making the bed everyday the Speaker about the Dirty House says Make the bed in the morning and after you awake
Cannot work around unmade beds US Laws before having guest are coming to visit keep bed neat Good Habit unmade beds is Bad Habits

  • I wish my fellow Canadians lost the ignorance and gained the respect of a Navy and by extension, a Commander who keep Wester Society adroit and resolute.

  • I can only “Hope That Admiral William H. McRaven will respond to this message--I served aboard the USS Jonas Ingram (DD-938) Destroyer and somewhere in the time zone and we went through a very trying situation in the Persian Gulf!! Because of this incident i have been diagnose with Chronic Pro-longed exposer to P.T.S.D.-The region office will not give me my compensations and pension nor will they give me my comp and pen examination-why-I don.t know-I have been treated for what I’m going through and the Primary care doctors that are assigned to my case have both entered documentation that i an disabled – yet the V.A. will not acknowledge their Diagnosis. Why are they doing this to me??

  • I guess it makes sense. Just by watching this video and knowing I make my bed “almost” every morning…. Gave me a feeling of satisfaction knowing I can be productive! lol

  • Primal wisdom here. The second thing would be to empty your wastebaskets. Amazing how much effect that has on making your mind clear for the day ahead.

  • When i think of a Navy Seal i don’t want to think about them being good bed makers. I want my Navy Seals to spit tobacco on the bed so it stinks before they get in it. Have it so filthy that the bed bugs don’t want to live in it. Be hard core! Not doing what my mom told me to do at age 5. What’s next, how to eat ice cream like a Navy Seal so you don’t get a tummy ache?

  • When I was younger I dreaded making my bed… So I came up with a great excuse. I would tell my dad “it’s not like room inspectors are going to come in my room and judge me!” It worked for a little bit but I soon realized that I had to become a more organized person and your videos help me accomplish just that… Thank you

  • What an awesome and helpful video. It was entertaining to watch but more importantly…SO TRUE! I’m going to start making my bed everyday for the next 5 days. That should be enough to have it be almost second nature and make me ready to push onto the next obstacle. It’s all about the building blocks and the gradual path to success!
