“Why can’t I do this? I know what I need to do to get in shape, and I just can’t get myself to do it. I’ve yo-yo’d for years.” I’ve been running Nerd Fitness for 8 years now (holy crap), and I have seen some of the most dramatic success stories from people of all walks of life that give me the biggest smile. Why You’re Not in Shape (Yet) (and keep!) healthy habits” and then you just decide to start and suddenly you’re on day five and you know you can exercise every day for a week, and then you’re on day 27 and you know you can make it to the end of the month, and then you’re on day 42 and you know you can do this for the rest of your. You can take control of your body today if you’re willing to admit that the reason you’re not in shape is because you’ve chosen not to be in good shape.

Again, this is all completely obvious — the way to change is to change. And the more you try to “explain” (or excuse) why you haven’t changed, the more likely it is that you’ll never change. Not exercising enough, not eating well and generally not taking care of your body.

Rest easy, you are not alone, in fact an estimated 92% of people bail on their new years resolutions. You know why you need to get in shape (to keep up with your kids, to build self confidence, to sleep better) and you know how to get in shape (go to gym, eat. So you’re a little winded and out of shape.

That’s OK. Maybe you’ve been recovering from an injury. Maybe you’ve been busy.

Maybe you just haven’t felt like exercising. That’s OK, too. The important thing here is that you’re ready to get moving again. But since a front-row spot at cardio boot camp is a little unlikely, we came. Hi Gabbar, Based on my experience, to use Teams free, you need to firstly setup with a Microsoft account, if the account address isn’t belong to Microsoft account (like Gmail), then Microsoft would create a new account for you with this same addresses..

If you can’t setup you’re cooperate account, please check your account type to see if your account type is eligible for Teams free. Prevention is the best weapon in the battle against high blood pressure. But if you’re already struggling with high blood pressure, there are a number of steps you can take to manage this disease: Lifestyle Change. As explained in the University of Texas study, losing weight is one of the most effective ways to reduce your blood pressure.

If you’re out of shape but with a lean frame, start small and focus on improving your daily activity day by day. Walk to your neighborhood grocery store instead of driving to it. Eat small but frequent meals throughout your day that are full of color (kale, carrots, strawberries, brown rice, bell peppers, mushrooms, lean protein, etc.). This Is Totally Why You’re Not Successful Yet There is no shortage of excuses for failure, and even more for mediocrity.

This list will make you aware of the real truth about your ability to be. Next time you’re thinking of skipping exercise, or you’re contemplating getting in shape (see 5 Stages of Change Model), you can use this list as a motivational reference. If you have any friends who are not exercising, definitely shoot them this post!

  • Yes, very good video and educational. I am a mixed hourglass and I feel that I have so many choices for what to wear. I have many favourite trees. Of course, the maple tree especially in autumn, birch is amazing and I really adore the weeping willow. Burning Bush is gorgeous also.

  • Damn, I’m old, and I still come to this song when I need an attitude adjustment. Dpn’t judge me for dancing in the kitchen to Taylor Swift….

  • Hi Anna, thanks for the review! It’s nice to learn about a car company that I have not heard of before. The Tarraco does look to be a very practical SUV. Can’t complain about a lack of space. I do agree that a couple more horses would really help.

  • In the US the Tiguan gets 2.0L gas engine only! AWD is optional. We have the longer version only. 5 seats or 8. I am not a fan of those wheels.

  • Anna, 2.0 Diesel 150KM ma raczej moment obrotowy na poziomie 340nm, nie 250 ;). Przy okazji fajne filmy! Nagrywaj po polsku pls:)

  • Witam Cię Aniu seat, skoda, vw prawie tymi samymi nićmi szyte, różnią się kilkoma szczególnymi . Super filmik Pozdrawiam

  • I just get more and more confused. I am 5’3″ and slim. I think I have slightly wide shoulders but they not curved or straight. I have boobs on a small rib cage and am very short waisted with not much waist definition and average hips. I think I might be mixed, but I definitely look awful in high necklines or Empire line because of my short waist. I look silly in too much frilly stuff and generally don’t like patterns. I can’t decide between Soft Classic, Theatrical Romantic or Soft Gamine. I look better if clothes are fitted rather than loose, but I don’t have a small waist. I just go round and round in circles trying to figure it out.

  • I’m very unsure of my Kibbe body did to my test results.
Am I Soft Classic or Romantic???
    Here are my results:
    I. Bone Structure:
    1C 2C 3D 4C
    II. Body Flesh:
    5E 6D 7D 8E 9D
    III. Facial Features:
    10E 11D 12E 13E 14E 15E 16C
Hope someone can shed some light??

  • I like the Volkswagen quality, but these cars are so practical and boring. She has mentioned the DS 7 but trying to find a DS dealer here in Germany…
Anyway, I am not a big fan of SUVs.

  • Great video, Merriam!!! I have always wondered how useful the fruit system was in helping women dress for their bodies! Thanks for making us understand it really is all about your bone structure!

  • This video is so interesting, definitely gonna think about it, and watch it again. Btw awesome sketches, you look beautiful and your voice is amazing.

  • ” Madame is very happy” a dżentelmeni oglądający jeszcze bardziej dziś trochę krótki filmik ale zawsze miło było obejrzecpozdrowienia

  • Stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay and stay taylor swift the best forever

  • Wow, thanks for the video, now I know why some clothes are just not that good in me. And I really wonder if it’s alright for rounded wear sharpen? Will it make us a little bit too dress up? Or will it be just fine? Thank you. Have a nice day!

  • This makes a lot of sense. Thank you! I see from the examples that I am def closer to a sharp type, even though my physique is very soft. When I wear skinny /cropped pants with a short shirt it does look too small, like a child that grew a little bit and needs to size up, but if I do it looks baggy and wrong. This was a good explanation of the different bone structures.

  • I really like the idea of expanded body shapes that include the bone and muscle structure. It makes a difference! Mostly when people talk body types, they talk Kibbe body typing yet I think Kibbe concentrates too much on height and many celebs have been typed too yang just because they are tall when their bodies have so much yin in them. Rihanna’s debate will never be over but I do see her as Theatrical Romantic. Look at Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy definitely Gamines yet too tall for this type, according to the Kibbe’s rules. So, exceptions can be made for the height when the flesh is curved and bones are delicate.

  • Thank you for you helpful videos Meriam! I have a big dilemma with the Kibbe body type advice and being a Romantic, because for religious reasons I like dressing modestly and currently wear a lot of maxi skirts in the summer, and long oversized jumpers with jeans in the winter. But I’ve found that these styles literally go against most of the rules for a Romantic body type in some way (waist emphasis, fitted cuff, fitted trouser)! Byut these are basically the only combos I wear (even tho I don’t necessarily find them extremely flattering…). What to do do?

  • Thank you for introducing us to a car I never heard of Anna. The United States has become the land of pick up trucks and SUVs I’m sure it’s gonna come across the pond soon.

  • I love willow trees. Have several childhood and romantic memories attached to them. Thanks for the video! I’ve enjoy listening to several of them!

  • I have mixed bone structure (but hourglass shape) with my upper body being primarily sharp and lower body primarily round, and now it makes sense why I always preferred sharp tailoring for my upper-body garments and rounder shapes for my lower body.

  • Thank you for this! I don’t have a favourite tree type, it just needs to be huge so you can lay beneath and watch the leaves or hang a swing on it

  • Oh my gosh… as a dramatic classic I am triggered by “oooh, you dressed up today!” any time I wear anything that isn’t minimal. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my classic style, but whenever I wear anything that adds volume or ornateness I will get comments.

  • Thank you, Merriam Very helpful as usual. We have a small group of Antarctic Beech trees (from Gondwana times!) nearby. The bushfires went through that area here in Australia but I believe they survived. They are enchanting to behold Xx Alesa ps: your audio and lighting production is wonderful!

  • Can you maybe do a video where you show real life examples of sharpened, mixed and rounded type figures? I still can’t quite tell what my body type is from the drawings.

  • I’m mixed and while I’m pretty sure I’m a Romantic (not just hourglass shape, but short, small hands, feet, limbs, soft) I was convinced I could be a Soft Classic, just a fuller, wider one, because their clothing looks so much better on me than more Romantic styles, overly feminine styles. As always, very useful info to scaffold upon the kibbe system. So many beautiful trees but my favourite trees may just be Jacaranda trees with their delightful lavender hues.

  • Wow! The difference was so dramatic when you showed the “afters”! Thanks for your always-helpful and interesting videos!

Can’t choose just one ‘favorite’ tree , but one of my favorites are ginkgoes; I love how the leaves resemble butterflies, including when they fall from the tree. Fun question!

  • Hi merriam!! I loooved this video!!! Thank you so much darling I’ve really missed your videos
Ok quick question: would the mixed outfit in this video work for the rounded type? I’m rounded (or TR, typed by you before the new names) but I do look chunky in those peplum-ish cardigans….I always thought those were more for the blended (kibbe classic) ladies. The blouse the mixed lady is wearing is much more my style. But is it ok for rounded? What do you think? Lots of love p.s I think oak tree and most fruit trees are my faves

  • Japanese maple! I have always been confused about this. I think I am somewhere between beveled and blended. (I struggle when I take the test, I am not artistic and I don’t see the lines that make up my body or face easily) According to a lot of sources, I am also an hourglass, but I can tell dressing for that alone isn’t always a homerun. I did sign up for a consult for help! Excited for that! Thanks for your videos:)

  • I dont if you play the stocks but I have a stock tip for you. check RLFTF. It’s a possible cure for covid and it’s hardly known about. I want a comment on one of my videos for the tip, lol. Thanks love your songs

  • Hi Merriam,
These videos are AMAZING, you have such a unique take on style and so articulate in your explanations. I do wonder what’s your opinion on tattoos and kibbe body types/bone structures. Do you think that certain type of tattoos work better on certain kibbe types? I can’t find any content on this subject and I would be curious to hear what you have ti say about it.

  • My favorite tree is the Sugar Maple tree (though a few other varieties like the Japanese and silver maple are cute too). But I love the fall colors it’s leaves produce and maple syrup it produces.

  • 1. 0:25 nice shoes
    2. 4:33 I’m so jealous
    3. Car is little bit like a box but… 4×4, diesel, automatic gearbox, lot of space for “familie vagen” can be very OK…
    4. Flowers for Anna:
    ️
    5. Całuję rączki
    Ach!

  • If you are a fangirl of someone in these videos, and get triggered and throw a bitch fit, then please show yourselves out the door. I’m laughing at your heroes’ pain and there’s nothing any of you can do except sulk and whine like 12 year old girls suffering their period for the first time. I hope this guy continues to feature these high profile lifters failing for my amusement and for all you oversensitive triggered fools who take everything so seriously to continue crying. FoH this guy doesn’t need your views or subscription. No effeminate beta males allowed here. Go to the kitchen, drink your soy lattes and make sandwiches for real men like your dads or brothers.

  • I have learnt that an hourglass can’t wear high necklines because most hourglass shapes have larger breasts than other shapes and a high neckline makes the breasts look as though they are sitting lower on the body so it’s unflattering

  • I love willows! They’re so weepy, like they wallow in melancholy. I feel like they could deeply understand us hihi!

Also, this video was great! It’s lovely to see you expand on your own system well done and wonderfully illustrated!
However one small point of advise could be that the title might seem a little confusing.
I’d for example suggest in this case: “How to dress for your hourglass”, or something like that.

All in all, well done! (And looking great in your own mixed lines!:3)

  • I’m lost. Who is confused if they are out of shape or not? How he approaches his topics in his videos is literally why I have yet to subscribe. I watch the video with “maybe he comes off better…”. Nope. Lol. Doesn’t change. Ah well. ‍♂️

  • I don’t get this..! I am an rounded hourglass and round/soft clothes look horrible on me. Like I feel unfit, weak and chubby. I have very sloped shoulders, (no bag will ever stay) short limbs and round fleshy arms and thighs. I feel so good when I wear long lines, severe tailoring, rigid fabrics and larger shoes. Biker jackets and boots are my best friend. Counteracting the softness is so much more flattering I find, or am I just totally off trend? What am I doing wrong..?

  • Hola Anna!
Saludos…

  • I remember my first girlfriend in 6th grade was exactly like this, she was like a twig and literally snapped under the most bare minimum of basketball

  • How does hip shape come into play? Because even tho this shows sharpened and mixed type, all of their hips are the same ROUNDED shape

  • You really have developed the best frameworks for explaining concepts of colour and style… this is brill! my fave trees are alder and ash because they look so spectacular in autumn!

  • Steroid use I understand. Synthol use, I do not. It giggled for like 10 seconds after that guy barely touched it. There is zero muscle there.

  • While Merriam seems very sincere and obviously educated on the topic, I am more confused than before I watched this. Round bones? Square bones? Kibbe style videos helped me much more because of the specific details on the various bones of the body and face.

  • this was a really interesting video! it would have better if we could see some real-life examples as well. Still, I learned a lot:)

  • I was hoping you would describe the outfits you created and explain why they are more harmonious. I felt like you were just on the verge of that a few times and then switched gears. I have to hear and see it to get it. I could see the effect of the different outfits, but I was seeking the verbal versus visual reason why it works. What is the ‘uniform’ for these types? You’re fabulous by the way. I really appreciate the effort and level of detail you put into your content!

  • Wow ty, as always soooo interesting, useful and precise. I don’t comment often (well never actually lol) but I just wanted to say thank you, since the beginning of my journey your vids have helped me a lot to apprehend my body type (TR). Also I’m now able to achieve different styles successfully depending on my mood. Of course, I continue and enjoy learning everyday (and even more with your vids ), but it means a lot to me cause I really feel in peace and at home with my body now, thank you again <3

Also, I just wanted to add that I really love your style lastly (clothes and especially this length of hair long or this ponytail are so good on you * -* ), it’s so beautiful and classy. It’s just so you lol
Hope my message is not too long, can’t wait to see the next vid, take care:D

  • I love maple and dogwood trees. The unique star shaped leaves of maples, the sweet smell and beautiful colors in the fall. The flowers of the dogwood is very pretty in the spring. The four petal flowers in pink or white.

  • Hi Merriam, your videos are so insightful! I definitely want to see your examples of the blended type. And to answer your question at the end, my favorite tree is maple

  • Hello I was wondering if you could suggest some colours to wear for different undertones. Also if its possible to make a different shade of a colour to work on a certain undertone in which its usually not suitable. Eg: if any shade of blue is suitable for warm undertone or which shade of yellow is best for cool undertone if a necessity to wear the colours arise.

  • Another great car from VW group Anna. Thank you as I am looking to replace my Golf 7.5 soon. By the way the only distraction in that cabin is you my darling..take care.xxx❤

  • Ok, you should be getting my credit card and social security number and my mother’s maiden name tomorrow in the mail, can’t wait for the secret stuff!

  • First dude clearly not only injects oil in his muscles but also has a messed up plastic surgery done on his ugly face, looks like implants and nose job etc. Horrendous…

  • Lovely video, thanks Merriam! <3
Edit: I agree, paper birches are so beautiful, and I don’t see them much where I’m from, so when I do it’s extra special. Favorite tree, either birch or olive!:)

  • I’m a Sharpened Hourglass and I find this incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Hourglass is not exclusively found in Rounded types and there are lots of ways of emphasizing an hourglass shape!

  • Short and sweet car review as usual! Legend! I actually just released a vlog about being a car vlogger today, over on my channel. Feel free to come to check it out and see if you could relate to that?

  • Willow tree. I’ve been told I am much like a willow tree, and I love that comparison. Passive yet powerful. Soft yet strong, whimsical yet grounded. It’s a tree full of wisdom. I have a willow tree by me that I visit a few times a year to have some silent conversations with. I think one of the best places to read, or do any deep thinking, is underneath a willow tree.

  • Just here promising that you will love the cover I did to Thinking out Loud please give it a chance here: https://youtu.be/mAMBk36J1_k

  • What the hell were those 4 skinny ass spotters gonna do?? Literally didn’t help at all. Felt bad for the powerlifter but then again..

  • My favorite tree is the pink mimosa tree. I have loved them ever since I can remember noticing trees. It is a strange 4-phase flowering tree native to Asia. 2 out of the four phases make me feel like I took a trip to Asia everytime I see them in clusters with or without its flowers. I am not really of fan of the third beanpod phase, which lasts through winter when it sheds its leaves, but it still has that unique beauty during that time. Anyway, not only is the mimosa tree pleasing to look at, but also pleasing to interact with due to the leaves closing when you touch it.

I wish I could plant them all over my yard, but they are an invasive species that produce a ton of seeds and grow at the speed of light. They also are prone to disease. So I just look and admire as I see them out and about.

  • 6 years later and watching this is a beautiful song and a best song, Taylor swift you voice is a beautiful I am a you fan thanks for read this comments
    You are the best ✔️☕

  • I find your title confusing. Why show a drawing instead of a picture of a real person. One can make a drawing be whatever it is you are stating. Sorry I just don’t get your point

  • This song and “Clover Cage Mirror Mirror” are the two songs keeping me sane through these tough times. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together

  • OE Fitness your videos used to be really good. Then you starting commentating them and now they’re phenomenal! Great work dude.

  • Advice from someone who has trouble with flights of stairs greater than 5:
How to hide you’re out of shape: don’t do group sports.
If for some unimaginable reason you have to do group sports: cocaine and painkillers.

  • Bro doing I was doing bodyweight workout for a long time, it helped my basketball range now I can shoot halfcourt shot without too much effort and I can shoot threes only standing.

  • Dude I saw u vids wher u showed yourself.. Without talking.. But u a too funny guy not to talk.. It’s way better.. Maybe u could do more then just gym stuff.

  • I have spent the last 3-4 days watching several of your videos and you are a genius! You see things many of us don’t and are able to articulate the concept/idea & break them down like a true guru. Many women can instinctively dress well but to know and understand why, is both a science and an art, a gift that very few possess. Bravo! You are a gem and great things await you.

  • Buys 1000 dollar scale… gets on scale. Scale shatters. Glass slashed my ankle. I bleed to death. All could’ve been avoided if I was in shape and didn’t need to watch this video. I must get in shape
