  • The scores are rigged (look how many raphs there are) but you cannt be a leo and score a 0.. So immediately the margin to fall 50 or under is less than the others… Rigged againsy mikey as well. Shit scale

  • Yeah but the comic didn’t make distinctive differences. That came up for the toy line because they knew kids would pick a fav and thus increase sales of the toys. Comics and show roocked though.

  • Fun Fact:

In the 87 series, Michelangelo and Raphael’s personalities were nearly identical
it was the 1990 movie that solidified Raph as being impuslive and easily angered.

Also, Donatello’s name was originally going to be Bernini

  • I tattooed my scrotum so what? It’s just a colorful “ballbag” as my brother called it. What a man does with his nutsac is up to he. My dick has tats too. Tiny bugs all over it and I gotta shave my ballscroat and apply ointment

  • Spongebob, code lyoko, avatar, rocket power, adventure time, teen titans rotated these four humors between the 5 characters, even impractical jokers does it. And don’t forget the 2018 golden state warriors

  • Yeah but based only alone on theyr origins and how they became mutated…..doas it really make sence for them to be diffrend turtle species?

  • in my eyes TMNT will always be NINJAS. My favorite show was/is the 2003 version and 2012 ain’t that far off. 2007 movie is great also.

  • Of the for humors: “Phlegmatic individuals tend to be relaxed, peaceful, quiet, and easy-going. They are sympathetic and care about others, yet they try to hide their emotions. Phlegmatic individuals are also good at generalizing ideas or problems to the world and making compromises.”

    This is NOT George Costanza.

  • The whole “Sex&theCity” = Four Humours dichotomy isn’t really that accurate. I would agree that Samantha is “choleric” and Charlotte is “melancholic”, but Carrie is clearly “sanguine” because she’s impulsive, sensitive and gets “carried away” by her passions. Whereas Miranda is “phlegmatic” because she’s rational, cold, detached and strives on being independent.

  • I always thought myself to be a Donnie and Leo hybrid. Leonardo was blue and used 2 katana’s, my favourite weapon and colour. He was disciplined and responsible Donnie on the other hand was smart I personally like to think I’m smart and good with technology. Don’t get me wrong Raphael and Mikey aren’t bad, I’m just not goofy or angry most of the time. Leo and Donnie forever . Best incarnation for me was 2012 (childhood) and 2003 great story line especially earlier seasons thanks for reading.

  • Mikey fits my personality best sometimes I even talk like him and don’t notice. I even know how to use nunchucks. And I love pizza cuz who doesn’t write

  • Hey Gaijin are the Crystal Gems ninja? I just wanna know if the gem war happened while ninjas were alive and if they collabed in the world of SU.

  • Personally when I was young I thought I related to Raph, but as I got older I leaned to Donnie. But now that I think about it I guess my personality is more to Mikey. I never really liked Michelangelo I found him annoying, I think that’s why I like raph and Donnie, I liked there personality not becuase I related to them.

  • I went with my friend to a reptile store because he needed crickets to feed to his lizards, and I can tell you that the animation did not accurately depict turtle fornication.

For those who really want to know, turtles do everything sloooooowly.

  • I always thought myself to be a Donnie and Leo hybrid. Leonardo was blue and used 2 katana’s, my favourite weapon and colour. • I’m an odd combo of Raph and Leo. In friend groups I am always cited as Leonardo…so I guess my adult self is more level than before.:p

  • Do Daredevil Next. I feel lile he is a Ninja based on his training with a ninja martial arts master and being the leader of a ninja clan

  • Mikey fits my personality best sometimes I even talk like him and don’t notice. I even know how to use nunchucks. And I love pizza cuz who doesn’t write

  • The only thing I don’t really like about this is how gatekeepy they seem to be in the beginning. Her “nerd cred” shouldn’t be in question here.

  • In Rise of the TMNT Raph is an alligator snapping turtle, Leo is a red eared slider, Donnie is a soft shelled turtle and Mikey is a box turtle.

  • The most fascinating thing about this is if you look into it, so many people have given each turtle a different classification. Just google Ninja Turtles and the four temperaments and every article places each turtle in a different section.

  • I’m 100%, Donatello I’m a bit reserved but I do like to joke around a bit too. I’m also good at electronics. He’s the most relatable for me.

  • I think it would be fun to look at while the characters of Lego Ninjago are good characters and martial artists, they are terrible ninja. My arguments:
Weapons: Shurikens for a primary weapon for one ninja, only 2 chain based or farm-based weapons
Combat: Spinjitsu isn’t exactly the most subtle way of combat and would give them away in a heartbeat
Appearance: Only 3 of them wear viable ninja colors. Also, everyone knows who they are, they are literally celebrities in 1 of the seasons
Methods: I only see them actually sneaking around once or twice in the entire show as far as I’ve seen
Vehicles and mounts: Loud and proud, obviously they make good toys and that was their purpose, but not very good for ninja.
I rest my case. Who else thinks that this could be a viable episode of Which Ninja?

  • I’m calling bullshit that ANY American kid in the 90s didn’t know the turtles. My kid brother and I LOVED that show. He and I watched TMNT, Transformers, My Little Pony, Sailor Moon, etc. The idea of “boys shows” and “girls shows” didn’t occur to us. There was just the shows we liked to watch.

  • I grew up with the 90s TMNT movies and 2003 TV series. But have you thought about doing Yoshimitsu from Tekken? He’s a ninja you wouldn’t mind doing research on to see how he compares to real life ninjas

  • For anyone who cares: the music during Katie’s speech on Raphael is Dvorak’s Cello Concerto in B Minor, Op. 104 2. Adagio.

Yo-yo Ma did a recording of it for Ken Burns’ The War documentary.

  • Bro the 2003 TMNT are my CHILDHOOD!! I remember i got salty for a while whenever they rebooted the series and moved on from the 2k3 universe.

  • I tattooed my scrotum so what? It’s just a colorful “ballbag” as my brother called it. What a man does with his nutsac is up to he. My dick has tats too. Tiny bugs all over it and I gotta shave my ballscroat and apply ointment

  • I went with my friend to a reptile store because he needed crickets to feed to his lizards, and I can tell you that the animation did not accurately depict turtle fornication.

For those who really want to know, turtles do everything sloooooowly.

  • For me it’s leonardo his my number one favorite second mikey because he likes pizza and makes funny jokes 3 Raphael I love his weapon and when he gets mad at mikey fourth donnie

  • it’s so true… when I was a kid i liked Mike because I was goof but as I got older I wanted to be more of a leader and liked Leonardo more

  • Love Leonardo. His 2012 iteration is my favorite. I feel I’m closest to him, b/c he is kind-hearted, quirky, and still coming into his own.

  • I’m not sure which turtle I am most like cause my personality is a little like all of them, I’m like a rules follower like Leo and I have quite the temper like Raph and I’ve got my silly moments like Mikey and I’m kinda smart like Donnie, all through not as smart as Donnie but not dum neither. So not really much one I’m most like, I’ve got a little bit of each one of their I guess personality traits in me I guess is what I’m saying.

  • The only thing I don’t really like about this is how gatekeepy they seem to be in the beginning. Her “nerd cred” shouldn’t be in question here.

  • My ultimate favorite has always been Don, because I’m not that physical but I have lot knowledge and strategies. As adult I’ve also started to relate to Raph’s sarcasm and anger (to hide his weaknesses).

  • Master Splinter from both the 2003 series and the 2012 series are my favorite version of master Splinter. As for the new rise of teenage mutant ninja turtles……ugh they ruined him Where is the honor?

  • My favourite is Raphael, as I identify with him the most, I have some serious anger issues too, which have landed me in serious trouble on a few occasions.

  • I’d probably say that I’m a little bit of all of them.

    Morally rigid, like Leo.
    Emotionally driven, like Raph.
    Introverted, like Donnie.
And, like Mikey, I use humour in an attempt to diffuse tense situations.

  • Id be casey jones cuz he is a street vigilante with a flair for sports themed ass-kicking. Like silverage sportscaster in the DC universe.

  • Yeah i don’t care how much you sugarcoat it. Rize of the TMNT is bad. Everyone is Mikey, throughout the story, it just felt like there was no one in danger, everything is just way too dumb down for my liking. I like my TMNT with their usual weapons, and a gripping story. But that’s just my opinion.

  • Leonardo definitely my favourite since I was a kid. I don’t know wether it’s his blue band, kitana swords or his personality. Probably all of them. Raphael is definitely my 2nd. I love his personality both his angry side and his extremely funny sarcastic version in the 80s cartoon

  • I’d probably say that I’m a little bit of all of them.

    Morally rigid, like Leo.
    Emotionally driven, like Raph.
    Introverted, like Donnie.

  • You guys legit outdo most anime. There is so much motion, so many scenes that are like.2 seconds long and you draw them DRIPPING with detail. Just the end of this with all the diff turdels (lol) is super fast but you MAKE SO MUCH OF IT. This honestly inspires me.

  • i legitimately had no idea this audio was from a mindless self indulgence concert i’d seen it animated before and skhddbdfdhdgd oh my fucking god

  • My magnum opus of Which Ninja. I loved making this almost 20 minute episode, but LORDY am I exhausted. A HUGE thanks to those that came out to the research stream on Twitch! Without you, this would have been a very different video! Eyeballing Kirby and Fortnite for future videos.

  • I heard that Mikey’s new mystery “Bladed yo-yo” thing is apparently called a Kusari-Fundo, not the Manriki gusari as you said. Personally, I really like Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the creators said they wanted to prioritize not retreading the same old ground again as its predecessors, and I for one feel the changes work. I really like how the Mutagenic ooze isn’t sci-fi in nature but rather it’s like yokai blood or something this time, and they’re kind of coded like immigrants.

  • The 4 ninja turtles personalities mirror the theory of the 4 Temperaments or 4 Humors. Taking a quiz on which of the 4 Temperaments you have can direct you in finding your inner turtle.
Also, using the MBTI personality types can also help you relate to the characters once you know your type and learn their 4 types.
I’m a Donatelo by the way.

  • Pls do a which ninja episode of ninjago, i wanna prove that they aint real ninjas.

Despite me loving the show i still doubt they are real ninjas

  • Fun Fact about 2012 TMNT: Executive Producer Joshua Sternin was a student at the only Bujutsu schools in the US. The show’s creators and crew had weekly “ninja combat” classes. They learned how to hold a weapon, dojo etiquette, and even learned a few moves. I got this from the Art of Nickelodeon’s(2012) TMNT.

  • did you know that the original turtles all had red ye masks. they added colour to help differentiate them. that is also why they are different shades of green.

  • Yeah but the comic didn’t make distinctive differences. That came up for the toy line because they knew kids would pick a fav and thus increase sales of the toys. Comics and show roocked though.

  • Michelangelo best fits my personality, but Raphael is my favorite turtle. Raphael is the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in my opinion.

  • I am Leonardo for sure
I’ve always seen myself as Leonardo when I was growing up and still see myself that way, because I see he acts like me

  • I checked Turtlepedia and found out that Mikey is a box turtle in this show. Just figured I’d post that for those that don’t know.

  • The last question kind ruined it because they are all the same and yet they have different point so it doesn’t make sense and I got 20 points without the last question so I’m either Mikey or Donny

  • I never noticed that the icons they used for the four humours are the symbols of the elements in Avatar Last Airbender. Nice touch.

  • Spongebob, code lyoko, avatar, rocket power, adventure time, teen titans rotated these four humors between the 5 characters, even impractical jokers does it. And don’t forget the 2018 golden state warriors

  • Bro the 2003 TMNT are my CHILDHOOD!! I remember i got salty for a while whenever they rebooted the series and moved on from the 2k3 universe.

  • Wow. This is a great video. This gives me a new look at the different versions of TMNT. Question though. Giving their TV history from being comical to more ninja like, do you think they were limited early on as to what they could portray in regards to “Ninja?” I always thought that ninjas was like a secret society of some sort. There are only certain things that’s available to the public. For instance, the 9 Cuts looks like it could be a secrete maneuver that couldn’t be shared back in the 80’s. Just trying to give reason for the changes through out the years.

  • Wow, this was very well researched and put together! Been a fan of TMNT since the late 80’s. Even as a kid, I thought the 1987 turtles should be hiding in the shadows more, and I appreciated how the 1990 film respected that aspect of being a ninja. Still, the 87 cartoon is what made me a TMNT fan, and is one of my favorite childhood cartoons. I got introduced to the original comics very early as a kid as well, so I appreciated how closely the 1st live action movie followed it. I might’ve been in the minority of kids who preferred the movie writers followed the comics more than the cartoon. The 2003 series is my favorite of the animated stuff, but I underestimated how great the 2012 version was gonna be. I remember thinking it would flop, but after watching it I found myself enjoying it more than I thought. Also really loved the 2007 cgi movie. Leonardo was always my favorite because he took his ninja training the most seriously. I’ve always been a fan of martial arts, and even became a martial artist. The TMNT fueled my love for traditional weaponry a lot as a kid. Nothing but love for the TMNT franchise! Again, loved the video!:)

  • I’m surprised they didn’t mention the movie were Raphael became the metal ninja dude. XD Maybe it didn’t have anything to do ninja stuff aside from using several weapons in the case of Raph. I dunno-

  • Yeah but based only alone on theyr origins and how they became mutated…..doas it really make sence for them to be diffrend turtle species?

  • You guys legit outdo most anime. There is so much motion, so many scenes that are like.2 seconds long and you draw them DRIPPING with detail. Just the end of this with all the diff turdels (lol) is super fast but you MAKE SO MUCH OF IT. This honestly inspires me.

  • i do like the concept of the turtles being different species quite a bit. but i really disliked the design and concept given, especially with how god damn GOOD the prior series was.

  • People get to judge every version of the turtles using the 90’s cartoon as the ruler. Yeah, it’s the first they got to know but it is neither the first version of the turtles nor the best

  • The last question kind ruined it because they are all the same and yet they have different point so it doesn’t make sense and I got 20 points without the last question so I’m either Mikey or Donny

  • My ultimate favorite has always been Don, because I’m not that physical but I have lot knowledge and strategies. As adult I’ve also started to relate to Raph’s sarcasm and anger (to hide his weaknesses).

  • Don’t forget that Donatello made their weapons and gadgets from scraps and stolen tech from the enemy. And as you said in earlier videos and this video, ninjas weren’t rich. That and it’s not like they’ll be able to walk into a store without freaking everyone out

  • I’m probably most like Leonardo, but Raphael has been my all-time favorite character out of all other multi-media franchises my entire life and always will be. It started when I was 2 or 3, and my favorite color was and is red. But I’ve come to love Raphael for many, many, other reasons.
    #Raph4Life

  • How can anyone not like Raphael the best. Hes the best fighter has beat leo multiple times in the cartoon and movies. Hes the most relatable and has the most human emotions plus he loves his brothers more then any other turtle as seen in the movies plus hes bad ass

  • I notice that you put Raiden on the bad ninja side. I can understand why. He’s more of samurai than a ninja. He knows stealth during the time he wasn’t a cyborg, but that doesn’t matter since he relies on a katana with his cyborg body. I don’t know how to rate it, maybe 5 out of 10.

  • I’m probably most like Leonardo, but Raphael has been my all-time favorite character out of all other multi-media franchises my entire life and always will be. It started when I was 2 or 3, and my favorite color was and is red. But I’ve come to love Raphael for many, many, other reasons.

  • it’s so true… when I was a kid i liked Mike because I was goof but as I got older I wanted to be more of a leader and liked Leonardo more

  • I don’t think you really watched the 2003 tmnt, if you really pay attention through out the seasons there was always be a episode that’ll come up with splinter or a something splinter taught them that’ll be interesting to know!

  • I don’t think you really watched the 2003 tmnt, if you really pay attention through out the seasons there was always be a episode that’ll come up with splinter or a something splinter taught them that’ll be interesting to know!

  • 65 percent raph 10 percent don 20 percent mike 5 percent leo if I am being honest I would go with don because we have a lot in common I like all if the turtles but the one I like the least is probably mike I’m not like him and he’s just a goof and he needs to know when to be serious leonardo is my third favorite it’s nothing wrong with him he is a great leader he has the best weapons second favorite is raph only thing I don’t like about raph is his weapons but don he is my personal favorite his weapons have the most range he is just like me

  • The scores are rigged (look how many raphs there are) but you cannt be a leo and score a 0.. So immediately the margin to fall 50 or under is less than the others… Rigged againsy mikey as well. Shit scale

  • Am I wrong in my interpretation that “The Thing” in the Elaine group should be switched with the “Invisible Woman” in the George group? Or am I ignoring Elaine’s propensity for violence and George’s subservience to his parents? I don’t want to overanalyse this.

  • Since I got 170, I’m Michelangelo ( Mikey ). And I expected to be Donny. But it’s okay because Mikey is like a jokester. I’m one too!

  • I’m surprised he didn’t mention the 2007 TMNT movie in all this. I thought it was a good movie. The Leo vs Raph fight was something all fans of the Turtles knew was gonna happen one day.

  • It’s a little annoying that this is so gendered. TMNT is something us 80s kids watched in early development, before we had our identities constantly reflected back at us. I’ve been Donnie since I was 5 and I’m still Donnie now, because it’s a universal thing, not just a boy thing. Sex & the City is also a bad comparison, because it’s something you watch as an adult. Anyone can be Carrie Bradshaw and anyone can be Rafael; what separates them is when you watch them and how much your personality is determined by reinforcement from society to conform to expectations previously engrained through decades of interaction. Gender is irrelevant in this video.

  • Favorite GI Joe: Tunnel Rat.
Maybe Quick Kick, if we’re talking action figures. And Sgt Slaughter and Law were both great in the movie.
    Favorite X-Man: Gambit.

  • Fighting wise, it honestly depends on the version. Preferring by there character, I’d have to say Raphael. He’s the most real & relatable out of all the brothers in my view

  • It’s funny, I got Leo. Then I realized that my two brothers are Raphael and Michelangelo. Then I remembered my brother in law, totally Donatello. Found us Halloween costumes lol.

  • Fun Fact:

In the 87 series, Michelangelo and Raphael’s personalities were nearly identical
it was the 1990 movie that solidified Raph as being impuslive and easily angered.

  • It’s probably not a good idea to equate “historically accurate” and “historically inaccurate” with “good” and “bad” respectively. Obviously this video from two years ago couldn’t have predicted the nonsense “controversy” of Ghost of Tsushima, but I’m sure similar incidents have occurred in the past. There is a disturbing trend in the American “gamer community” to treat any discussion of the historical accuracy of that game as an attack on its quality as a game.

That said, credit where credit is due, the use of the standard/common 万 (as opposed to 萬) in this video was a good idea.

  • Part of me thinks the reason “The Nine Cuts” works…is very simple…it’s a placebo effect. Think about it, something that if you believe hard enough works…it is bound to have some kind of effect mentally.

  • One could apply the same parallels to the guys from Entourage which was essentially the “guy version” of Sex and the City
Vince is loyalty to his friends (mostly) – Leonardo
Drama is impulsive and reckless – Michelangelo
E is the pragmatic cool headed thinker – Donatello
Turtle is kind of the outsider, trying to find his place, but also trying to be independent Raphael

  • They need to make a movie or tv show that TMNT looks like exactly as ninjas from Injustice 2 (1987 with good look and graphics). Not this crappy ones:(
    Please do that (Y)

  • Am I wrong in my interpretation that “The Thing” in the Elaine group should be switched with the “Invisible Woman” in the George group? Or am I ignoring Elaine’s propensity for violence and George’s subservience to his parents? I don’t want to overanalyse this.

  • The most fascinating thing about this is if you look into it, so many people have given each turtle a different classification. Just google Ninja Turtles and the four temperaments and every article places each turtle in a different section.

  • I never noticed that the icons they used for the four humours are the symbols of the elements in Avatar Last Airbender. Nice touch.

  • Most media portrays Raph as kicking the most ass. Also he is routinely the physically strongest. There is some serious Raph love out there. I think we, the fans, are “told” that Leo is the best martial artist. Splinter has shown him the most advanced ninjitsu, the media “tells” us that he has the most discipline, but when taking all the incarnations together, we have “seen” Raph fight and win the most. He has demonstrated to most grit and dedication even as a lone wolf. He also trains alot! He only comes in behind Leo in meditation and private attention from Splinter. Considering all the evidence together I think Leo is the leader because Splinter says he is. Whether by design or happenstance, on screen Raph is shown consistently as being the best.

For comparison consider Cyclops and Wolverine. The x-men cartoons and movies tell us that Cyclops is a badass, but we are shown the wolverine IS a badass. So there is a disconnect, making it hard to believe that the others would willingly follow Cyclops or Leo without a leadership role inforced by the mentor.

  • God damnit which sexuality are you?!?
    My friends: biii!!!
We all can’t be bisexual, that’s not mathematically possible..some has to be the stupid hetero!

  • They need to make a movie or tv show that TMNT looks like exactly as ninjas from Injustice 2 (1987 with good look and graphics). Not this crappy ones:(
    Please do that (Y)

  • I don’t know about the Sakki test, But as someone who practices European armed marital arts I can confirm the existence of Mushin. I need only see a flash of my opponent’s weapon and I can immediately predict where he is trying to hit me and block it.

Well, not every time, but the concept hold’s true.

  • Based on how you describe the turtles…? I’m not sure. I’m laid back & fun, like Mikey. I’m intelligent & always making things, like Donnie; though mine is crafts & not tech. I am a total loner & tend to stand a bit separate from any group I am walking with & can be a bit passionate & hot headed, like Raph. However, I am also the one everyone comes to for advice, seen as a leader, & do my best to look after the ones I love, like Leo…. So… yeah

  • Im Mikey My Favorite Ninja Turtle Is Leo But Im Like Mikey Im Really Funny I Usually Annoy My sis So Im Mikey But My I Have A Little Bit Of Leo In Me Too
    Leo And Mikey The Best
    Best Turtles
    #1:Leo
    #2:Donnie
    #3:Mikey
    #4:Raph

  • Funny enough I have 3 older brothers and we each have a turtle we can relate to. Oldest is Leo of course, 2nd is Ralph, 3rd is Mikey, and I’m Donatello. My brother that’s more Ralph actually likes Mikey cause he’s goofy and gives off the vibe deadpool gives.

  • I’m surprised he didn’t mention the 2007 TMNT movie in all this. I thought it was a good movie. The Leo vs Raph fight was something all fans of the Turtles knew was gonna happen one day.

  • Michelangelo best fits my personality, but Raphael is my favorite turtle. Raphael is the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in my opinion.

  • Чуть кишки не порвал от хохота!))))))) 1:52 как мне это развидеть теперь!?Ой,ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-ха-а-а!!!/вытирает слёзы/

  • How can anyone not like Raphael the best. Hes the best fighter has beat leo multiple times in the cartoon and movies. Hes the most relatable and has the most human emotions plus he loves his brothers more then any other turtle as seen in the movies plus hes bad ass

  • Favorite GI Joe: Tunnel Rat.
Maybe Quick Kick, if we’re talking action figures. And Sgt Slaughter and Law were both great in the movie.
    Favorite X-Man: Gambit.

  • i legitimately had no idea this audio was from a mindless self indulgence concert i’d seen it animated before and skhddbdfdhdgd oh my fucking god

  • Since I got 170, I’m Michelangelo ( Mikey ). And I expected to be Donny. But it’s okay because Mikey is like a jokester. I’m one too!

  • Gaijin: Tanuki Gakure no Jutsu this technique involves hiding in a high place that exploits the fact that people rarely look up with the 45 degree angle typically being the blind spot

Me: Oh WeRe HaVe I hRaRd ThAt BeFoRe

  • I’m surprised they didn’t mention the movie were Raphael became the metal ninja dude. XD Maybe it didn’t have anything to do ninja stuff aside from using several weapons in the case of Raph. I dunno-

  • For me it’s leonardo his my number one favorite second mikey because he likes pizza and makes funny jokes 3 Raphael I love his weapon and when he gets mad at mikey fourth donnie

  • Hey Gaijin are the Crystal Gems ninja? I just wanna know if the gem war happened while ninjas were alive and if they collabed in the world of SU.

  • Leonardo definitely my favourite since I was a kid. I don’t know wether it’s his blue band, kitana swords or his personality. Probably all of them. Raphael is definitely my 2nd. I love his personality both his angry side and his extremely funny sarcastic version in the 80s cartoon

  • Okay, just a heads up, I love your historical videos I’ve seen so far, but at 6:35 I completely lost it, I have read that comic when it was a color remaster, and the panel shown right after, I was flooded with nostalgia… Keep up the good work Gaijin!

  • did you know that the original turtles all had red ye masks. they added colour to help differentiate them. that is also why they are different shades of green.

  • I thought of something. Agent 47 is a ninja

He doesn’t kill all the people against him, only specific targets
He does have a master or some sort of a clan
    He wears disguises
    He hides the body
He uses a range of weapon
    He has a ninja costume
    Nobody knows his real name
Nobody in the game has that much info on him
He is physically and mentally trained
    He can use poisons well

He is literally a ninja hitman

  • One could apply the same parallels to the guys from Entourage which was essentially the “guy version” of Sex and the City
Vince is loyalty to his friends (mostly) – Leonardo
Drama is impulsive and reckless – Michelangelo
E is the pragmatic cool headed thinker – Donatello
Turtle is kind of the outsider, trying to find his place, but also trying to be independent Raphael

  • IDW TMNT is by far the best version. Even just in the ninja aspect you’re focusing on. They’re competent with their weapons, they’re very stealthy, never needlessly revealing themselves in public or going where it’s likely someone could see them. They aren’t afraid to draw blood either, and they aren’t really superheroes either. Sure, they beat up bad guys, but it’s normally personal or global threats, like Shredder or General Kraang. They don’t go out of their way to fight normal criminals unless it’s for practice. Also their the reincarnations of an actual ninja and his sons.

  • I’m 100%, Donatello I’m a bit reserved but I do like to joke around a bit too. I’m also good at electronics. He’s the most relatable for me.

  • It’s funny, I got Leo. Then I realized that my two brothers are Raphael and Michelangelo. Then I remembered my brother in law, totally Donatello. Found us Halloween costumes lol.

  • I know the likes greatly surpass the dislikes, but c’mon man?! Why does the video have that many downvotes? This video was fucking genius!

  • in my eyes TMNT will always be NINJAS. My favorite show was/is the 2003 version and 2012 ain’t that far off. 2007 movie is great also.

  • Most media portrays Raph as kicking the most ass. Also he is routinely the physically strongest. There is some serious Raph love out there.

  • I checked Turtlepedia and found out that Mikey is a box turtle in this show. Just figured I’d post that for those that don’t know.

  • Based on how you describe the turtles…? I’m not sure. I’m laid back & fun, like Mikey. I’m intelligent & always making things, like Donnie; though mine is crafts & not tech. My friends: biii!!!
We all can’t be bisexual, that’s not mathematically possible..some has to be the stupid hetero!

  • My favourite is Raphael, as I identify with him the most, I have some serious anger issues too, which have landed me in serious trouble on a few occasions.

  • Fighting wise, it honestly depends on the version. Preferring by there character, I’d have to say Raphael. He’s the most real & relatable out of all the brothers in my view

  • I grew up with the 90s TMNT movies and 2003 TV series. But have you thought about doing Yoshimitsu from Tekken? He’s a ninja you wouldn’t mind doing research on to see how he compares to real life ninjas

  • People get to judge every version of the turtles using the 90’s cartoon as the ruler. Yeah, it’s the first they got to know but it is neither the first version of the turtles nor the best

  • Don’t forget that Donatello made their weapons and gadgets from scraps and stolen tech from the enemy. And as you said in earlier videos and this video, ninjas weren’t rich. That and it’s not like they’ll be able to walk into a store without freaking everyone out

  • I don’t know about the Sakki test, But as someone who practices European armed marital arts I can confirm the existence of Mushin. I need only see a flash of my opponent’s weapon and I can immediately predict where he is trying to hit me and block it.

Well, not every time, but the concept hold’s true.

  • Love Leonardo. His 2012 iteration is my favorite. I feel I’m closest to him, b/c he is kind-hearted, quirky, and still coming into his own.

  • I thought of something. Agent 47 is a ninja

He doesn’t kill all the people against him, only specific targets

  • For anyone who cares: the music during Katie’s speech on Raphael is Dvorak’s Cello Concerto in B Minor, Op. 104 2. Adagio.

Yo-yo Ma did a recording of it for Ken Burns’ The War documentary.

  • Pls do a which ninja episode of ninjago, i wanna prove that they aint real ninjas.

Despite me loving the show i still doubt they are real ninjas

  • i do like the concept of the turtles being different species quite a bit. but i really disliked the design and concept given, especially with how god damn GOOD the prior series was.

  • Part of me thinks the reason “The Nine Cuts” works…is very simple…it’s a placebo effect. Think about it, something that if you believe hard enough works…it is bound to have some kind of effect mentally.

  • I know the likes greatly surpass the dislikes, but c’mon man?! Why does the video have that many downvotes? This video was fucking genius!

  • Okay, just a heads up, I love your historical videos I’ve seen so far, but at 6:35 I completely lost it, I have read that comic when it was a color remaster, and the panel shown right after, I was flooded with nostalgia… Keep up the good work Gaijin!

  • In Rise of the TMNT Raph is an alligator snapping turtle, Leo is a red eared slider, Donnie is a soft shelled turtle and Mikey is a box turtle.

  • Do Daredevil Next. I feel lile he is a Ninja based on his training with a ninja martial arts master and being the leader of a ninja clan

  • SHARE THE VIDEO ON FACEBOOK, REDDIT, TWITTER, ETC. TO SPREAD THE AWARENESS OF ALL THE UPCOMING NINJA TURTLES PROJECTS TO TURTLE FANS AROUND THE WORLD!
