Eating An All-Meat Diet — [Carnivore Diet EXPLAINED]

Video taken from the channel: Fit Father Project Fitness For Busy Fathers

the history of the carnivore diet (surviving on an all meat diet) If you’re going to have a debate on the merits of eating only meat, we should probably discuss the Inuit. The Inuit are an indigenous tribe inhabiting the Arctic. The carnivore diet is simple, you only eat animal foods and products.

Everything else is restricted. That means no fruits, no vegetables, and especially no carbohydrates. It’s almost the complete opposite of a vegan diet. How to follow the Carnivore Diet Following the diet involves eliminating all plant foods from your diet and exclusively eating meat, fish, eggs, and small amounts of low-lactose dairy products. Since the carnivore diet is an all-meat diet, this means that you will only eat 100% meat at all times.

You are not allowed to eat a little number of fruits or vegetables while you are on a carnivore diet. 3. Drink only water. If you want to stick with a strict carnivore diet, it is recommended that you only drink water.

5 Things You’ll Experience On The Carnivore Diet Within The First Week Published by admin on January 2, 2020 January 2, 2020 My DOCTOR has me doing the carnivore diet, or all-meat (as in, NO CARBS) diet, to help treat some of my gut issues. Let’s talk about Shawn Baker’s book The Carnivore Diet.. Shawn Baker is a big-name carnivore. He’s one of the main popularizers of the carnivore movement (see: the Joe Rogan podcast). Also, he a) is a doctor and thus is a trusted source, b) has personal first-hand experience eating an all-meat diet, and thus is a trusted source, and c) shows his source. The Carnivore Diet, as the name suggests, is all about eating meat and other animal products.

Basically, if the food came from something that could fly, walk or swim, it’s fair game, and you can have it morning noon and night. If you’re looking for the ideal carnivore diet protein to fat ratio, this should help: On an all-meat diet, you source your energy (calories) from two main macronutrients: fat and protein. The perfect ratio depends on what you want out of the diet itself and your level of physical activity. This post is part of a series about my six week carnivore diet experiment.

To read more about my experiment, check out one of my other helpful carnivore posts: I Tried a 6-Week Carnivore Keto Diet Challenge; A Full Day of Carnivore Eating; Carnivore Diet FAQs: You’ve Got Questions, I’ve Ggot Answers!Starting the carnivore diet. I’m 28, 6 feet tall, and about 200-205 pounds. I work out three or four times a week and eat reasonably healthy.

I drink on the weekends, but rarely during the work.

  • I would like to go carnivore but worry about IGF1 surges and those being linked to cancer or higher risk.
But also colon Cancer,by switching from plant based to carnivore a lot of the microbiome bacteria that are fermenting a variety of fermentable fibres diminish and amino acid fermenting bacteria accumulate

These are the putrefactive bacteria. Two products of putrefactive bacteria, putrescine and cadaverine, are best known for literally smelling like death. They are also genotoxins known to damage the DNA inside your colon cells.
They I believe have been implicated in making poylps grow larger and become cancerous. And then you have secondary bile acid situation, so it sounds like a BAD idea for even a healthy person, it may help with autoimmune problems as a reset but I doubt if a Cancer patient would be benefiting, the potential danger is just too much.

  • I did a “beef only” elimination diet myself, to discover if my health problems were from a food allergy. The awful stares from vegans at the supermarket, when they saw my cart had only steak and water, were quite entertaining!

  • Hard to argue with all of these cutting edge facts. Very objective and informative podcast. Important show on nutrition. Paul is a wealth of knowledge. Great stuff Aubrey.

  • this is AMAZING but we also need to focus on the fasting aspect and be aware that female and male bodies are not the same. Fasting does wonders for most males but what about females? I believe more people should be focusing on this aspect and sadly we are not seeing a lot of that.

Aubrey I think it would be awesome if you can bring someone on your podcast to focus on this aspect.

  • Dr. B What is your take on “What the Heath”? Video/documentary. For example, chicken is a carcinogen and leading cause of cancer and cholesterol. And 1 whole egg = 5 cigarettes smoked?? Just wanted your thoughts. Just completed 8wks OSM and eat allot of pasture raised eggs and meats, Chicken, fish etc

  • I really don’t believe in those ONE FOOD diets…doesn’t make sense. Anything that you would eat in excess even if it has been proven to be good will not be good after a while. Unfortunately meat has more negatives for me than positives so even though I like it I have reduced the amount I eat it. There is nothing better than a well balanced diet..simply eat more of the good stuff and less of the stuff you don’t agree with. Consider eating healthier more times during the day will help you not to get into starvation mode and help you control yourself and lose weight.

  • How much toxicity is in meat? Even a wild deer is full of heavy metals! How much detriment happens to the planet because of meat production? How closely is big pharma linked to meat production? Should I really eat the organ that detoxifies the most? Plants don’t want to be eaten, but animals do? There are so many flawed conclusions in this discussion…

  • The Carnivore Diet has worked for me, arthritis gone, energy up, work and exercise stamina way up, more muscular, skin looks younger, anxiety a distant memory. Why would I want to go back to plants? Why use antioxidants if I just need to prevent the damage by removing the offenders. If still sceptical, TRY IT FOR A MONTH. Then make a video.

  • Great info here. I’ve never heard of a carnivore diet, but glad to learn about it and hope this info is useful to those who need it.

  • Does meat not have a high fat content that can lead to cancer? Especially when youre talking about gmo animals and polluted fish meat

  • If Virta launches a coaching or training course on keto, please, let me be the first to enroll. Is there any way we, mere mortals from Brazil, can study with Dr. Phinney?

  • I was ruthlessly attacked on Twitter for saying that an all meat diet can be beneficial. In spite of the fact that scientific studies have PROVEN this! I’ve been on Keto for awhile and am going to try the all beef diet. Diabetic with super high blood pressure. Will be interesting to see what happens.

  • Aubrey….roll that pelvis back!!!! It’s bad for your back and down regulates your glutes!!!!! Love the show and congrats on

  • I feel like your eyes really want to blink but you’re not letting them! lol Keep up the great work, sharing your experience is awesome. I’ve been carnivore 6 months and last 3 I have been eating beef raw. I buy it in bulk as a big single piece of say eye of round or ribeye and then cut it into steaks myself. That way there is no possible contamination as beef is not mechanically tenderized. At first I felt crazy but, now it’s normal and I actually prefer it raw and actually crave it. My friends think I’m crazy, so another bonus point right there! There is so much contradicting info online that the only way forward is to try everything on yourself and see what works and what causes issues. As someone who has spent most of my time in bed in the last 10 years from debilitating back problems I for one can tell you that going carnivore and then raw carnivore has at least for myself been a miracle. But, I was grasping at straws trying to help myself as doctors only feed you painkillers. So for past 5 years I’ve been through all the diets from Keto to Vegan back to keto and then carnivore. I’ve lost 100 Lbs on keto and felt great mentally but, back pain was still there. For me at least vegetables are not my friends. Cheers my Toronto brother.

  • its true that lots of meat consumption can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease..your videos are always so informative. Thanks for sharing <3

  • I follow carnivore diet but must say that European countries live longer than us Americans and they eat sugar, white flour, pasta etc.Spain is about to become the longest lived country in the world. What is a common breakfast in Spain…..extra thick hot chocolate with Churros dippedin sugar then in the chocolate.

I think Peter of hyperlipid theory that Americans eat too much seed oil and is why we get sick and fat makes sense when you think of Spain.French fries cooked in olive oil, pastries made with real butter, white flour and sugar is worlds apart from eating Mcdonalds fries cooked in seed oils and the pastries we eat loaded with Pufas etc.Our fried chicken is saturated to brim with pufas from corn feed and fried in seed oils while in Euro countries its chickens fed a different diet that keeps their fat saturated and then they use olive oil to fry.Spain eats tons of pork with Jamon being so huge but what do their pigs eat…..its not corn and soy like in America.

  • Can we just acknowledge how diet IS discipline and effort? Its the same mental exercise as making yourself run, because you’ll be sore and kinda more tired and maybe hurting, i.e, making youself NOT eat that cinnabun, because yes it tastes fucking fabulous but oh my God, it will hurt. (In my specific case.)

  • You should have spoke to the Plains Indians back in the 1800’s that ate mostly bison. They were the tallest people back then and were very healthy.

  • What a great interview! I found you going down a wormhole that has left me feeling hopeful to be alleviated from health issues I have had for at least 10 years and may actually go back to when I was a child (47 now).

I have a big order of meat being delivered today.

If you want to somehow use me as a test subject here is the info I have wrote about myself after finding Mikhaila earlier today:

    Lion Diet Journey Feb. 26/20

185.7 lbs. (optimal body weight is around 170 lbs. through my experience)

My back is screwed… have no idea why.

Every time I exert energy I get massive pressure in my head that then triggers complete weakness/degeneration of my back. All doctors I have seen are stumped.

Western doctors tell me I have migraines then give me prescriptions that actually give me headaches (and violently murderous dreams).

Chinese massage masters say my blood is stagnant.

Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners tell me my Chi is blocked at 2 intersections.

My back, hips pelvis feel fused. I have done Hatha Yoga for 15 days straight and there is almost zero flexibility. I sort of feel dead inside.

    My energy is almost non-existent.

My feet are cracked all over and it is massively painful to walk so I am in bed a lot.

I thought I was just overweight but I believe it is bloating after seeing how I am while doing yoga.

My eyesight drifts in and out.

My right eye twitches like crazy all the time making it challenging to read.

I have always had bad breath and bleeding gums despite being diligent about flossing and brushing.

My knees sort of squish when I walk up stairs… doesn’t hurt but doesn’t sound right at all. They feel inflamed all the time.

I have to pee all the time. Have previously been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystisis. Makes life challenging as I am either in the bathroom or trying hard to painfully hold my bladder.

I struggle with my bowel movements and hemorrhoids have been common due to these struggles.

I have battled brain fog and depression.

The funny thing is that before all of my health issues I used to eat almost nothing healthy or nutritious. I almost never drank water. I was a high energy person who worked hard, played hard and required very little sleep.

I swear all these issues started once I tried to be “healthy” according to other people’s definition. These past 10 years have been one health issue or another.

    Symptoms July 25/18

Free Floating Anxiety (does not match thought level)

    Increased Heart Rate

    Hands Shaking

May 2010 experienced what I consider burnout. My brain just shut down after feeling like I was in a fog for about 3 weeks.

Went home on a Monday at Noon. Slept straight through until Saturday. No food as far as I remember and only got up to go to the bathroom.

For the next 18 months to 2 years I was so exhausted all the time I would yawn and tears would stream down my face.

I have pushed through in many different ways since but have never been the same.

  • Great and very informative video. This video is very understandable.I learned a lot new things and definitely recommend checking it out.Thank you for sharing the information with us.

  • I would just like to thank Dr Phiney and Verta Health for these videos. I live in Trinidad and Tobago so cannot access any human coaching on these matters, but really appreciate you all hitting spot on with my concerns. Following Dr. Phiney on YouTube I got into keto in mid-2017 reversed my pre-diabetes and am now on carnivore for sleep to see how to get back to a well formulated ketogenic diet without the oxalates. I have my own reasons to be concerned about oxalate but not sure if they are valid

  • I tried the ketogenic diet for a while and I had to eat an all meat diet because of the high protein low carbs nature of the diet. it was fulfilling but kinda got hard after a while. thank you for sharing the cons and the pros doctor!

  • Some people have heavy metals and need to detox, I am doing a detox bath with epsom salts and biorox to pull out those metals. Also take some Activated charcoal. I have pains in my appendix area and at times I cheat with wild blueberries and it goes away. Maybe some have parasites and need a little help killing those bastards.

  • How in the HELL does eating a food make someone “Alt-right”?!?! I’m speechless at that nonsense…
Question: can you eat a plain burger too or does it have to be steak?

  • thank you for this important information, i’m on the keto program for over two years now, i feel fantastic but i’m worried about the long term results, i do incorporate vegetables with my meals, also i eat fish and chicken

  • Its all in the eating of the animals fear and/or soul for me. I could crush a burger and meat but its the moral for me. Great talk and insights from a brilliant man though!

  • What are some ways to lost a lot of fat? I read many superb reviews on the net about how exactly Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost tons of fat. Has anybody tested out this popular weight loss diet plan?

  • I think a carnivore diet is definitely beneficial for people with auto-immune disorders and problems with specific foods, but for someone like myself that doesn’t have those problems I don’t think it’s worth the risks of changing my gut-bacteria and increasing some cancer risks. A healthy balance of meats and veggies I think is best for the standard person.

  • interesting detailed discussion on this trending subject, it seems that the approach really works well for people with food allergies and autoimmune inflation, thanks for covering all the pros and cons.

  • I’ve virtually never left a comment in my 7+ years on Youtube, but this is by far the most interesting podcast i’ve seen in a long time (and I watch Joe Rogan a lot). The amount of conflicting information on diet out there is astounding. You’ve got the Mediterranean diet from the people in the blue zones which is supposedly the best for longevity seeing as these people grow old as hell. Then you’ve got the keto, paleo area. On top of that you’ve got the SAD and more conventional diets. It all seems to contradict a lot. Paul’s explanation, looking at things on a genetic and molecular level, is a breath of fresh air and sounds completely logical (apart from the blood and poop part ) Amazing episode Aubrey!

  • Guys. lost a lot of fat does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I will give you some tips now. Look for a popular weight loss methods called Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google). Thanks to it I have lost a ton of weight. I should not even be talking about it cause I do not really want a lot of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I’m just in a excellent mood today so I’ll share the wealth haha.

  • That study is significant as it is one of the only studies with humans as test subjects as opposed to rats or most studies are just questionnaires people kind of vague questions like how often do you eat meat? And then extrapolating data and saying people who ate meat had a 23% higher chance of developing heart disease. But they were never observed or asked what kind of meat? Hot dogs? Luncheon meat? Do you smoke cigarettes? Are you obese? Do you exercise regularly? Virtually all cancer studies are not done with human subject data also.

  • How does the carnivore diet compare to the Atkins diet? I remember my brother did the Atkins diet years ago (i don’t know all the details) and it basically messed up his liver because all that meat gave him a very fatty liver.

  • Kind of funny to read some of these posts. The posts say thank you for the info I will stay on my meat diet. Perhaps they didn’t watch the entire video?

  • Anyone tried the Custokebon Secrets? I’ve heard several awesome things about it and my mate lost crazy amounts of weight with Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google).

  • There is no evidence that suggest that this is healthy, safe, or even biologically normal. I’m surprised people are still pushing this ridiculously anti-scientific diet model. Not only is it bad for you, but the consumption of red meat is absolutely terrible for the environment.

  • Well eating meat only causes damage to the gut bacteria and gut Diversity… hair fall… depression… is common sign… furythur more leaky gut will cause deadly disease which is common now days… Gut is like 2 nd brain! Eating plant base only solution!

  • It’s a no brainer that nature has the cure to every ailment we suffer. I got a firsthand experience when I was diagnosed of cancer in 2015. I tried everything possible to get rid of it, all to no avail. I almost lost hope when I came across Dr. Aliyu from a testimony I read online. He is a herbal specialist. He prepared a herbal medication which was very effective against the cancerous cells. Today I am cancer free and I have Dr. Aliyu to thank for saving my life. This may not be for you but anyone who wishes to reach out to Dr. Aliyu, he can be reached at [email protected] whatsapp only +2 3 4 9 0 3 2 5 9 2 1 0 3. I hope you find solution to any health challenge you suffer. All the best!

  • I’m with Chris Temmer on this one. I like pooping way too much and I already have more than enough problems with it to even consider this!

  • Why so much complaining?
    Just do it!
And if you cannot, no-one’s forcing you. You’re allowed to change.
But, the fact is, a low CHO diet is beneficial for longterm health.
Perhaps Carnivore /Paleo is not for everyone.

  • There’s not enough fundamental background in your theory. 2 or 3 years of observation is not enough. Tell as what happened after that. Now, search, is it meat the only source where we can get our essential nutrients? No. Why do we have to choose the more convenient way of eating? This is a way of surviving developed in times where the mind could not think anything else but meat because it was easy and accessible. We are much more advanced in terms of understating that the options out here are humongous and more healthy. People has been trained to live that way and think they will never survive off of plant-based food. I’ve being a vegan for 4 years and feel much better than when I lived at home eating animal products.

  • I read lots of good opinions on the internet about how Custokebon Secrets will help you lost a lot of weight. Has any one tried using this popular fat burn method?

  • its true that lots of meat consumption can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease..your videos are always so informative. Thanks for sharing <3

  • Hey Chris I went for carnivore at the start of this week. Thanks for the inspiration. Only been a short time but feeling great benefits. Gonefrom 23 hours a day fasted back to a 20/4 fasted. Love ur work bro.

  • im pretty sure beans are happy we are sowin them around… i ate a watermellon after watchin this, i was like aaah seeds scary…lol… thats why we got brains that understand fermentation and all… and if we’d all eat honey we d need more bees if wed want to leave some of their food for them so they wouldt die… long story short.. stop fucking around 😉 its why we use lettuce as a salad and coock nettles or spinach with cream or milk etc.. i heard bout this weed that wouldnt stop growin if u would wanna get rid of it but if u d pick it for eat it would just dissapear… i dont know its english name but i never liked it its a wild weed that also has this acid like spinach but more ofc… and i heard they healed lungs with dog fat. i love butter and its a sin… i know it.

  • I started this 6 days ago. However, I did modify it. I’m calling it the Viking diet. I have only eaten beef, and I have only drunk beer, with the exception of fluids before 6pm. That was all water. I’ve lost 7 pounds AND my mental clarity is crazy.

  • I like Stephen Phinney. However I disagree about the need for “other minerals” or “other vitamins” or even organ meats. EVERYTHING seems to change once plants are eliminated. I find that even condiments and spices kind of “throw me off”. I do best when I stick to beef !

  • Happy birthday! My cravings definitely passed with time, I have no trouble staying strict beef and salt now, and it’s great because I am at a baseline where I can start focusing on other things that may be causing my inflammation to stay high, like my vitamin D deficiency. It sucks that a beef only diet hasn’t eliminated my inflammation entirely, but it’s definitely at a more consistent level that will help me track what helps and what doesn’t

  • it is also recommended to have lots of himalayan salt which has trace amounts of magnesium as well as liver. I hate Liver so I have chicken and bacon pate. That gives me the stuff I need.

  • The Plains Indians ate this way for 100s of years. They ate Bison and might had a little berries when in season. What the hell did the vikings or the Spartans eat? Wild animals bro! Company’s make more money off of plants and turning into toxic crap and sugar coat it to make a profit. No money in beef anymore but for the farmer. Many are doing Carnivore and bodybuilding “steak and egg diet” was the bases of getting big like a Spartan. Those dudes fought in battle till they were 60 years old and no one fxcked with a 60 year old Spartan.

  • Crazy. She got intestinal problems simple as that. Maybe a genetic weakness in the intestines. She has leaky gut for a start. That’s why she ok with meat beef in particular because the bits of cooked beef can’t get in through the leaky gut they to big. That’s it. She got to heal her gut and eat fruit and veg. OMG come on guys

  • The cell mechanism for the uptake of carbohydrate and vitamin C ist the same. When there is abundant carbs available it gets preference. This makes a larger amount of Vita C necessary. When carbs are reduced the uptake of vita C is enhanced. Since vita C is taken up more proficient the amount needed is then much more minimal.
Source: Ivor Cummins, Dr. Paul Mason, Dr. Georgia Ede and many others.

  • I dont know what this fake doctor saw, i eat meat and kittle red cabbage a green apple only every day in long therm, i running weight lifting a lot, on my shirt drying out the salt and minerals always! The meat is full of potasium and minerals! Has to eat much meat with bones. Weekly waterfast days to produce the bile concentrate, and Thats it. And stop lying.

  • Mikhaila Peterson pathetic story is about to end. She is going to find herself at the receiving end of a lawsuit, for unauthorized practice of medicine. She not only an attention seeking good for nothing social parasite, but she is also dangerous. When you publicly claim, that your carnivore diet cured your own father from autoimmune and mood disorder, you crossed the boundary from snake oil peddling, to criminally irresponsible. I hope she has a good lawyer, because an international group of doctors and professionals from the field of medecine, are preparing to fill a lawsuit against her.

  • I would like a chart of the most important health markers( not sure what they are) and a comparison of people on keto, carnivore, vegan, vegetarian and omnivore. I know that is still simplified but where do you start?

  • It’s just criminal our medical industry is so wrong they dont know anything but give more drugs how do they keep doing it like diabetes which u can cure with a version of Leto amd fasting its nutz they are literally killing us

  • Great diet if you want to contract STOMACH OR BOWEL CANCER………also absolutely no attempt to consider the environmental or animal welfare issues

  • I’ve been eating old meat for a week now and I just threw up…. Soooo more meat. I’m European. I’m extremely white with white hair. I think I need bone broth

  • Sally Norton has some amazing info on this topic. Her research with oxalates is nothing short of revolutionary. She also had a hypothesis about the RDA requirements for vitamin C. She suggested that when you stop eating plants, your inflammation goes down dramatically and perhaps the amount of C required lowers because of that. I would love to hear what Phinney thinks of her info.

  • I’m trying a radical new diet called the “balanced diet”. It involves meats, fish, eggs, dairy, vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains and seeds. I know it sounds crazy, and I know it’s a bit of a gamble, but wish me luck!

  • If you want to be strong like a buffalo don’t eat him eat like him period… biggest mammal in land? Elephant, don’t think he understands the problem of deficiency of any vitamins, LoL he only take minerals. Average Human will die without breathing in 3 minutes, 3days without drinking WATER, 30 days without eating. You can be healthy if you take care of these 3 essential things. Don’t think that centuries ago everyone was eating meat 2 times of the day. It was meal of the kings and they were sick…people get sick because of malnutrition, don’t think it exists in rich and modern countries

  • There is no way this diet would be feasible on mass, the land requirements as of now with are current methods of agriculture would be too extreme. Something would have to change in our production methods which would take time to develop and implement.

  • Its an elimination diet, when I had tons of allergies (which I still do) the medical community takes everything away from you except things no one rarely says they are allergic too, I’ve never heard people say I’m allergic to meat, so if you go to meat and water for 30 days it reboots your system and then reintroduce one food at a time and you will know what’s flaring you up-for instance calcium citrate in milk products makes me very sick, too many veggies stir up my gut very badly such as a IBS stir up. I am safe with meat, a few veggies that are green off and on but not every day, a few berries, water. That’s about it. This also takes away my inflammation and pain. I came from a long line of farmers where they all ate meat and never got cancer. I think that’s mostly in your genes and runs in families. ALso there is a connection between emotions and cancer, especially repressed anger. They have also seen people recover from cancer watching lots of comedy. What goes on in the head is a clue too all of it. Me personally -I’d rather cross over clutching a ribeye then live to 90 hanging onto a salad……not worth it.

  • Wow this awesome video I like this tips. I am very convince of your video tips. This is very very useful for us. Thanks for sharing.

  • Awesome podcast. Wish Paul wouldve touched on the microbiome more. Seems thr little guys in our gut love fiber and get pissed when we dont give it to them.

  • Autoimmune, CFS, IBS, IBD, and itchy all over!!! I started with Paleo, then Keto, moved to AIP and now switching to carnivore. The closer to carnivore I get the better I feel. I keep trying to convince myself to exercise but I have NO energy. I’m so glad you mentioned fixing diet first then worry about exercise later after feeling better, that’s a much better solution than beating myself up emotionally for not exercising.

  • 9:30 Doctors are still limited my the institution in which they work. We need a way to empower better patient education which is not limited by the institutions gagging their physicians.

  • Although I like a perfect healthy blend of meat and vegetables, I think the carnivore diet can actually be pretty beneficial provided done correctly and eating the right type of meat. Thanks for this information.

  • Wow! That’s an absolute treasure you shared with us. Very helpful. Thank you so much. I was afraid to not have enough vitamins and nutriments with the carnivore diet, and I didn’t understand why I had cramps after the aikido practice or the singing training (I’m a classical singer and singing teacher) when I experienced it las year… Now I have the right answers. Greetings from Belgium (near Germany, Europe).

  • Having cancer may be a potential problem but because it has chance to grow in my body I will leave it there. Although I do make sure that meat cooked well so that there won’t be a problem for me.

  • Your.main issue now is cravings. Which, naturally, you perceive as need for extreme discipline. After 3-4 weeks you should start losing the cravings.
BTW, how is your craving for coffee?

  • Timely video for me. I struggled with keto when I tried it, the fatigue and cravings were insane. I tried carnivore a couple of weeks ago (a big meat fan here) and even using really good quality meats from my butcher, my body was telling me ‘enough’ after 2-3 days. Carb cravings were minimal, even during the first 48 hours and I felt full and healthier, but my body was screaming for no more meat. I think anything more than 150-200g of whole animal based protein a day is more than enough for a 200lb dude in their mid 40s looking to build muscle slowly, and I just know that no eating some plant based nutrition is foolhardy long term. Of course there is the argument that certain communities around the world eat meat only diets, but the lifestyle and food quality they enjoy is just not the same as popping down the market for vac packed grass fed beef and 15 hours a day on your ass.

  • I got R/A and I’m doing low carb and feeling much better but still got some issues. I’m just afraid of the carnivore diet. Like I don’t know how am I going to live without my veggies. Definitely need to investigate more about this carnivore diet cause I got two kids and I have to feel better and basically live longer for them.

  • What about the fact that excess protein is eventually stored as fat? What about free range chicken & pork? You don’t necessarily have to just eat red meat.

  • How dare you get off sugar without my permission? I need you to be diabetic so I can prescribe toxic drugs to keep it in check. Doctors are psychopaths.

  • Just curious… to those eating this way… what quality meat do you buy? For example, any kind vs organic, pasture raised. Do you have any concerns about eating beef that has been raised with antibiotics & GMO grains? Thanks in advance for your input!

  • Lessons from the aboriginals lmao. They just ate when they were hungry like modern carnivores. It doesn’t take a scientist to eat carnivore. Sorry doc.

  • Ok, I’m old, lots of chances to try different foods. For this body gluten is a killer, along with sulphites (you know meds are rife with coatings and preservatives using sulphites, as are the meds they use to put you out in an operation, also at the dentist).

They won’t worry you with details, but look at how many meds people are taking these days and what are the tattoo colours preserved in?!

I go to the hospital and say I’m allergic to the sulphites in the anesthetic. Sometiimes they looked shocked, like, oh no! And, for the most part I want to be as conscious as possible, without pain.

  • I certainly enjoy and appreciate both these guys taking part in this type of conversation, yet what concerns me is Aubrey’s ability to counter or at least entertain the discussion when it comes to more technical and precise dieting/biological facts every time the Dr. talks about enzymes and body chemicals/processes and stuff, you can hear the crickets. Plus, the fact that Aubrey was surprised that duck meat comes from duck farms (where they eat corn) is quite revealing about his level of information. No offense, he’s pretty basic but it’s all fine, being open-minded and curious is good enough for it to work out well.

  • I very much appreciate this video! I have been trying the low carb, high protein diet and it means I’m relying heavily on meats and dairy and some veggies. I’ve noticed I don’t feel that great and the diary doesn’t do me well. I’m glad you brought up the gut biome because that is very important to health. I’m going back to what I did before and get fiber and prebiotics back into my diet. High protein diet has brought has brought on hemorrhoids and more joint inflammation. Thanks for your video!

  • Thanks for your expertise on this diet-so much great information and love your channel! I’ve been on a carnivore diet for the past 2 weeks and feeling great. I’ll begin to reintroduce fruit/ vegies after 30 days.

  • I am currently working on myself with diet and exercise..I can’t get over the sheer volume of contradictory information in the diet world. I guess I have to keep trying different things until I find the right fit for me..i guess I am going to start bringing a cooler full of meat with me and a cast iron pan everywhere I go! Also I want to force feed this man cookies lol. Great podcast!

  • Been meato keto for 2+ yrs. Early on discovered something in dairy/peanuts sets my brain on fire. Ate that shit 40 years, and was diagnosed bipolar.

  • If this works for them, more power to them. It sounds like she and her father have a health problem and this fixes it. If her mom is also able to stick to it, and they all feel better, great. I don’t believe that everyone needs, or should do this. I could not even think of only having beef, salt and water for every meal. That, alone, would send me into severe depression!

  • The new Canadian Food Guide (released this week) has practically omitted meat and dairy… apparently our Liberals want us all to go vegan… thoughts? Google and see for yourself LOL oh mannnn

  • I think it’s great that she could fix her autoimmune disease through changing her diet, however, I think the title is a bit misleading… the carnivore diet is an elimination diet that excludes toxins and allergens like lectin, FODMAP, sulphite, oxalate, salicylate and phytate, and it happens to be almost a zero carb and zero fiber diet… and it seems that eliminating those helps with such diseases, also, the carnivore diet advocates for consuming organ meats, which are the nutritious parts of the animal that actually achieve the healing, not the muscle meat…. I think it’s important that people don’t think that eating steaks is healing… I would say that organ meat heals, when you also exclude those toxins… which is achievable if you execute this diet correctly. checkout this video for more..….. but if you just eat muscle meat, you will experience some benefits initially due to excluding those toxins, however, you will start to suffer from malnutrition if you don’t understand where to get the micro-nutrients from the other parts of the animal, in addition to eggs and caviar.

  • Dont fallow medness! Nobody eat only meat in the world! They lying! Non starchy veg and meat its fine.

  • I don’t buy the carnivore diet social issues with friends and family… it’s the social PRESSURE FROM THEM in these contexts that are annoying to deal with. Just have water, mineral water etc. in those moments, that’s available everywhere. Eat before, or bring own snacks like jerky if necessary. And battle your own cravings if they come up. If the friends and family get annoyed by your diet, ask them what matters right now: being with them and enjoying each other’s presence, or eating the same stuff? I wouldn’t mind hanging out in a coffee shop with mineral water and a friend eating cake and having a coffee… I just want to see my friend and talk with them!

  • Great video! I’m six days in to Carnivore diet and am down ten pounds of body weight. I plan on going ninety days and I cannot wait to see where I’m at. So far, inflammation is down, congestion down, depressive feelings down, energy and mental clarity is way up. Energy for workouts is way up! Even my gums feel great! I’m not buying into “American health culture” as my go to source for what is healthy and what is not!

  • We been lied to all these years that crap like bagels, cereal and other big carbs were out best friends. Sometimes you gotta leave those friends behind in order to pursue your dreams. Know I have, and I never craved bread ever again.

  • Are you going to fvck up vegan gains? He challenged you to a boxing or mma match since he doesn’t believe it’s worth traveling to you since you have a tiny channel

  • Totally true Chris doing carnivore now have zero digestive issues. Did a 3 day fruit fast a while back my stomach was talking to me all day long. Good luck.

  • Well actually I disagree with the first answer. I was eating ground beef+butter+eggs and my skin got really bad. It lost its glow and everyone told me I got ugly.I supplemented trace minerals and it got a lot better. Most of us are probably cooking our food killing a lot of nutrients. I supplement whole food raw vitamin C Complex just incase. Yeah, the supplement came from plants but idgaf, its not about being carnivore, its about health. I don’t want to be deficient is something just because its okay. Also vitamin D+K should be supplemented regardless. Vitamin E is also pretty scarce on this diet. Vtiamin is also scarce if people aren’t eating liver, would take a lot of butter and eggs to make up for it. B vitamin complex is killed by cooking your meats. I supplement nutritional yeast. This way I have my nutrients while having minimal amounts of plant antinutrients (probably none idrk) and fiber.

  • I love carnivore so far been doing it for 4 months and its more convenient for me(easy to prepare and eat, fills me up with less, more yummy too, in keto I felt forced to eat veggies even though I didnt liked them due to the keto police always saying they are essential, same with the fat macro percentage which I felt was way too high for fast weight loss, like anything in nutrition is all bla bla bla, at the end of the day you have to try things for yourself. they are also too scared of protein, but I still remained in ketosis even after a huge protein meal, I measured it consistently, also no gout problems, no kidney problems, no scurvy so far, and to be sure I did bloodwork and it registered not any deficiencies in minerals or vitamins either.), and my skin, mood and muscle mass has improved way more than when I was on keto. pretty much I eat beef, eggs and fish with organ meats once a week. Pork and dairy sometimes like once every 2 weeks and chicken when there isnt anything other than the above.(Used to love chicken but now I find it bland, prefer beef overall.)

  • Chris, could this help heal my leaky gut issues, and my fibromyalgia in my legs. I’m ready to do what it takes. Please help. Thank you.

  • Wow! You are describing my reactions. I’ve been low carb for a decade and done pretty well with autoimmune responses on it, but never got completely well. The foods that I think are the most benign trigger bad reactions. I’m considering carnivore, specifically all beef. Thank you for this info.

  • It doesn’t. It’s because your gut lacks the bacteria to break down such foods, and it ferments, causing more issues. As well as all food sensitivities disappear bc one is simply just eating meat….. eating meat is a temporary fix. I do not understand how people seriously can be so ignorant? We need to address the source issue, which is the gut issues like replenishing all the good bacteria missing and killing the bad. Our bodies are crying out for nutrition. Generation after generation, we are becoming more and more susceptible to Cancer, etc. Vitamins and minerals are key, we come from the jungle, and life began in the ocean. We should be living on veggies, fruits, algae, seaweed, some fish, nuts, seeds, legumes.

  • Here in Australia, way too many doctors have been stripped of their medical licenses because they have treated people without any pharmaceuticals and through diet alone. So sad that the word doctor doesn’t mean a thing in the face of the sickness that has taken hold worldwide, y you would think with all the intelligence of the medical fraternity combined worldwide, they seem that they don’t look at the cause of illness our diet. Where is that intelligence when humanity needs it most??? I am a firm believer there is a place for medicine, but your body, your health is your very own responsibility, take ownership.

  • I want to know if she drinks infusions or if she tolerate them. And what about the white meats?
I’m to try the diet, i’m having problems with digestion and gut inflamation, as I get older, i’m getting more sensible to rice, corn, wheat, even more with potatoes.

  • She is telling my story with every single word she speaks, only she hacked the puzzle a lot earlier in her life cycles than I did. Amazing! I thought I was losing my mind when paleo and keto was not bringing complete resolution. Saying ‘Thank you’ is an understatement…

  • I never heard of an all meat diet until now. It has pro and cons which is true with most things. My son is eating low carb, high protein diet, so he is eating mostly meat. Love this video. It tells us how to eat the meat we eat.

  • Properly formulated carnivorous diet provides necessary electrolytes:

  • Yeah but what she didn’t bring up is the amount of trash and GMO is inside American Food. Lord knows what they are Injecting into the Animals Bloodstreams and what side effect that has on Human Health.

  • I have been doing carnivore exclusively for 4 months now. I’m also a medical doctor. I also have come to the realization that Paul has, westernized medicine is a failure at creating health. Although I work in an acute care setting of the operating room as an anesthesiologist, I have opened my mind to the holistic approach to the human. I learned structural integrative acupuncture and now do that for patients. My hope is that more of us MD’s open their minds and drop the cognitive dissonance and connect the dots that food and lifestyle have direct impacts on physiology and function. I’m a huge fan of yours Aubrey. Great interview!

  • All plant foods including organic are all GMOs. There is no such thing as organic anymore. Thats why we all getting sick when eating carbohydrates. GMOs have a gene to make a pesticide from inside the plant food itself.

  • Since our body require balance of nutrients to stay healthy, having all the meats may not work out well for me, no matter how much protein i can acquired through all meats diet in order to grow muscle from workout, still believe some amount of other nutrients like micro nutrients and vitamins are also essential.

  • I’m fan boying right now…I thought this was Paul’s video then heard the Aubrey Marcus intro and fuuuck. I love this shit. You should use what he’s using for onnit products for keto/carnivores!

  • …but how does a person get all vitamins and minerals on only carnivore? Doesn’t vegetables and fruits contain vitamins and minerals that we need?

  • MedicalPro: Great interview about a Genetic Auto-Immune Disease. I do wish you had mentioned the importance of eating Organic meat. The Host appeared to have Man Boobs. There is an extraordinary amount of Estrogen and Testerone in most farm-raised meat and chicken. We are descended from Tribes that ate meat, fowl, fish nuts, seeds, roots, berries, fruits, and grains. Everything was Organic. Just a Reminder.

  • To regrow hair….Organic Castor oil (cold pressed) + Org. Ess. Peppermint oil…just enough of the Peppermint oil to smell good, but not too overwhelming. Also you may put 2 oz. of Castor oil w/ 50-60 drops of Peppermint oil in a good Organic Shampoo.
As I told you earlier…just soak any Raw Nuts in slightly sea salted pure water, for up to 2 hrs. + the PHYTIC Acid will be removed, which is one of the reasons that Vegans may have hard digestive issues w/ Nuts…also Beans, org. Soybeans, need to be soaked in salted water overnite…to remove the Phytic Acid…. then no need to eat fish & diversify your portfolio w/ Vegan foods, cooked w/ spices + oil with Celtic or Pink Himalayan salt, or Raw.
You may also make a Massage ointment w/ Org. Castor oil + just enough Peppermint essential oil, to rub into any area of the body, to heal & eliminate pain & recharge the body…totally rejuvenate.

  • Lactobacillus is only needed if you eat fiber. Remove fiber and you remove bloating, constipation, IBS, and other digestive issues. Period.

  • My buddy laughed when I told them I was going to lose fat with just using Custokebon Secrets, but after I showed them extraordinary effects right after I used it they are begging me to share with them about it. Of course I won’t let them know the detail about this diet plan, lol

  • She just described my daughter’s symptoms. Except my daughter has taken the pharmaceutical cure. Not so good. Has anyone considered that the preservatives, Mercury & aluminum, in our immunizations are effecting our immune systems?

  • God I just LOVE your videos. Very genuine. Very thorough. Really appreciate all your hard work and time you dedicated to creating these for us all. Carnies have to stick together and from one meat eater to another, you should REALLY check out this up and coming Carnivore fan.
“Carnivore Farmer”. She has 3 generations of family members on carnivore and how it has vastly improved their lives. Its incredibly inspirational. Much ilove and keep on, keepin on!

  • Bless you girl!!!! Im sure you’re familiar with Dr. Natasha. I have learned so much from her and answered so many questions that I thought were just “mysteries”. Americans and Canadians have “normalized” health problems that are so so so unnecessary!:)) thank you for your candid video!!!

  • I had to eat veggies but always with MEAT and cooked in lard! Carnivore Diet needs to bring back trans fat! Just don’t grill your meat our bbq grills are full of gunk & cancer!

  • I eat beef only also, but I mix it up, rib eye, liver, brain, intestines and my favourite the tongue lol. That way I don’t realize I’m only eating one animal. Happy birthday

  • Vegetarians and vegans still didn’t get that what they eat should be only another component of their diet. Lectins are abundant within the vegetable kingdom, and those are how vegetables protect themselves from attacks. Of course, meat is not all equal as well. Our ancestors knew very well their way with food, so I will stick to what I have learned from them and omnivore is the way of humans, but then again, not 2 humans are born alike. Great video.

  • I dont think “only” eating one of any kind of food can be positive. I think the key is variety and regular fasting. buts thats just me. Mainly I’d be super curious to hear what this guy thinks about a few things: Dr essylstyn reversing heart disease in like 90% of his patients by eliminating meat and dairy in the diet. The book “The China Study” which seems to have a ridiculous amount of science linking meat to cancer (yes grass fed too). And last is this example from WW2 which i cut and paste from a site that quickly explains the main narrative. i just don’t see how people can deny the nexus between eating animals and heart disease/cancer. But i’m not close minded or one sided by any means. Just curious. WW2 Story which also seems undeniable: “Norway was one of several western European nations occupied by Nazi Germany during the conflict between 1939 through 1945. The Germans removed all animal livestock from these occupied countries. The native population subsisted on whole grains, legumes, vegetables and fruit. Almost immediately death from heart attacks and strokes in Norway plummeted. With the cessation of hostilities in 1945 animal products became available as well as an immediate return to the pre-war levels of deaths from these illnesses”. This subject is so god damn confusing and frustrating to me. Just eat what makes you feel good. I mean good long term not in the moment. And for sure sugar and dairy are poison. Refined sugar. Not fruit. Humans are obviously meant to eat Fruit if you ask me thats just instinctive and common sense. Thats my toosense…I Only had time to watch half the podcast so if he did cover this stuff i apologize.

  • Chris, you wanted to debate with Vegan Gains on person! He will not travel to you, can you travel to him? It would be epic debate, because it would be in person! Think about it!

  • People literally megadose vitamin c and have cured dirty blood syndrome. You cant overdose and there are people who have done it most of their life

  • its true that lots of meat consumption can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease..your videos are always so informative. Thanks for sharing <3

  • I’m still a bit skeptical. Everyone on the vegan diet practically claims you can sprout wings and fly on that. It didn’t work for me, it’s deficient, my health got bad. But there’s a small part of me who believes in this (meat diet) because when I introduced meat again it healed those symptoms I was having on the vegan diet. To go 100% on meat still scares me because I just left the vegan ‘cult’ 2 years ago. I don’t want to fall into an unknown trap again with more health issues. I do feel less bloated, I can go longer periods without eating (or cravings), & a few days ago I helped my husband handle 225, 80 pound hay bales twice. I still had energy…but early on in the vegan diet I had that too. Just still a bit skeptical, for good reason. I want to live I tell you

  • One thing that confuses me about keto is that every carnivore on earth has a genetic mutation that doesn’t allow them to go into ketosis instead it seems that evolution favours gluconeogenesis over ketosis. Is this because your prey have more muscle meat then fat on them? To consume the whole animal would put you out of keto, id love a solid answer.

  • Wow! I ❤️ Dr. Jordan Peterson…is her dad?! He spoke my peace and piece of mind…so proud to be an Alt-Right!!!LOL, I am so delighted to watch this brave, beautiful, and bright young lady’s testimony…As I agree with Mikhaila, Ketosis to Carnivore is the way to transition if you are seeking a balanced ‘cure’ or method to detox from pharmaceutical band-aids. Lifestyle is key…remember, constant busy-ness can add to anxiety. Ignore your haters while they have no right nor knowledge to judge you and are obviously the rude ones. Take great care…we all have a gift and yours is to deliver the talent you were gifted with sincerity and serenity. Blessings are Everlasting…

  • Do you truly believe that going through such a strict diet in order to improve cognitive, mental and physical performance is worth sacrificing other things in life? ( socializing, bites from your favourite foods, more freedom, feel happier/rewarded to a certain extent…etc). It seems like an emotional vs rational situation. I personally followed the diet for 25 days only to feel unfulfilled despite being mentally sharper and more productive. It was until I reintroduced a bit more variety and letting myself go free with those juicy cheat meals that I started to feel happier and excited. I felt that I was enjoying life a bit more when I wasn’t restricting myself as much. What do you think?

  • Remember back when Oprah and Dr. Phil fought the cattle/beef industry in court years ago? That must have been O’s hazing or initiation activity for the elite. They’ve protected her ever since. They know that eating meat can stave off these devastating diseases. Great work here, Mikhaila, and I’m so sorry that you suffered so much and so long with a disease that nearly killed you. God bless you. And as if you don’t already know, your dad is one beautiful and inspiring man; love him so much.

  • On ayurveda and yogic science it does say that eating the meat of Cow is more better for us because biologically it’s a animal that is very simmilar to humans….our body doesn’t reject it rather there is a natural affinity between cows and humans.

  • The body heals it’s self when we get out of its way. Dietary intervention is the most powerful thing you can do to assist your body in its healing process.

  • I had severe sensitivities to foods/environment after years of meds. I started fasting and my sensitivities lessened a great amount. Processed foods always cause issues.

  • Dudeyour videos are excellent. I’m doing World Carnivore Month. Love your critical analysis the production value is great. I suggest a simple lapel mic to bump up the audio quality to match.

  • Am an islanders and a free thinker don’t belong to any group etc carnivorous, sugar free full of energy and feeling great. Great day to you from Palau

  • its true that lots of meat consumption can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease..your videos are always so informative. Thanks for sharing <3

  • I did the Carnivore diet for about half a year. It was a waste of my life. It made me depressed, gave me sleeping problems, I had so much cramps that I couldn’t exercise, gave me erectile dysfunction and high blood pressure. Not to mention that it’s the diet with the absolute strongest environmental foot print. I don’t see it being a viable dietary option since it will give you deficiencies in lots of key nutrients like Potassium, Magnesium, Vitamin A, D and K (since you removed eggs), Vitmain C, Folate B9 (unless you still eat ofal), Iodine (none present in beef), Calcium, Vitamin B1 (very low in beef but ok amounts in pork), Manganese and Molybdenium. All these vitamins and minerals have specific functions in your body and you haven’t adressed any of them since you seem to listen to anecdotes from people who do a diet of multiple deficiencies.

  • No, they weren’t healthy, their LDL cholesterol was dangerously high, if they would’ve continued on that diet they would’ve eventually gotten heart disease

  • I can obviously Talk about this for hours but I int like typing.Im only going to day Un plant based mostly fruitarisn I think its the BEST diet.but I understand people coming from omnivourius or paleo vegetariana feeling great as carnivourous.1 carnivourojs dont mix foods, mixing makes digestión more difficult and takes energy.that energy is stored and gives you that high you Talk about.its not meat being the most nutritious good on earth.its a ratio between nutrient content and energy absorbing during digestión.2they remover grains from their diet with all the benefits that means cause grains are straight pisoneous un my honest opinión.3 the high protein content of meat helps build lean masa and reduce fat un the body. All that overall is going to make the carnivourojs feel better overnight.that doesnt mean a long term carnivourojs diet is healthier as beef and meat are definately not the most nutritious good on earth.if its hormones free organic etc its definately better than an omnivourius diet.but Im not sure its better than a balanced knowledgsble vegetariana diet long term.and its definately worst than a plant based fruitarian diet. Meat does not have wáter on the other hand consumes it from your body.its vitamina antioxidant mineral content cant compete with fruits and vegetables. More toxins, acidifies Blood. In the the system of sun-water-grass-cow-meat-man I would say meat is a byproduct of the other 3.lacking vital nutrients.and if God thought se needed beef se probably Will be born with a knife and gire or strong Nails and teeth able to kill a cow.I stop here but itsnpretty much It.if you are carnívoros be Brave and become wont look back.its the ultimate nutrition we can eat a Steam ocasionally just as a treat.butbreally guys theres no need for any man to eat meat de are milking this whole Planet to obtain grains yo feed all those animales for no reason. A diet of raw fruits N vegetables and beans with ocasional quality meat(once a month) seems to be the most healthy option

  • True. Do what works for you. Because of the high levels of methionine I had to let the carnivore diet go and stick with a HFLC diet

  • It’s amazing that she survived all of these battles. (from an earlier video where she breaks it down a lot more)
Also amazing is her parents, and what they would have gone through.
I started listening to JBP, her father a few years back and no idea what he and his daughter have struggled with, and the guy still does tours and book signings, all while the MSM hound him, vilify him for standing up for what he believes in.

  • I like a little walk for 15 min to 30 per day but I dont like the Jim cause other people look better then me. I have always lost on low carb. People use to call me lazy but I walked every day! But still was fat.

  • i dont understand why some doctors want to advocate eating meat seriously? just eat fruits and veggies, rice and you are good to go. dont waste time complicating thing… oh my gosh

  • Iv been doing this too and IV notice beef makes me feel way better! So I usually eat beef 90% of the time and since I started doing that IV noticed that I only need one meal a day. And I have so much energy even tho it’s one meal. It doesn’t make sense to me but I’m going to keep just eating one meal a day to see if I start feeling bad. But as of right now I feel great! Also I have no headaches anymore

  • Fundamental ecosystem: sun -> grass -> cow -> human beef or meat are the most natural human food, nutrient dense, easy to process and absorbed by humans, very compatible building blocks of the human body.

  • Placebo effects, she experienced so many negative experiences in her life and lot of bullshit thoughts. The redemption could come from understanding her depression and having positive thoughts. Getting sick by eating olives or pepper resumes to organic food? LoL See you in few decades…

  • I fully believe in keto/carnivore diets but I would love to see some of the folks that are keto/carnivore do MRI scans of their bodies, brain and CAC scans so we can see if it really is helping their health, clearing or keep plaque at bay, as opposed to just relying on how folks ‘feel’. Bloodwork only shows so much. If MRIs are too invasive, how about Ultrasounds of carotid arteries or transcranial dopplers, etc;? I saw one youtube couple who did it and that was awesome.. but they avoided scanning the brain and strokes are the #1 killer in Asia and are rapidly gaining strength in the US as well.

  • I have eosinophilic asthma and went on all beef diet two months ago and am almost off prednisone (and all other meds). Im doing much better on all beef and so are my four kids.

  • Hello there, have you considered Custokebon Secrets yet? Simply do a google search. On there you will discover that a great tips about how you can lost crazy amounts of weight. Why not give it a shot? perhaps it will work for you too.

  • I’m doing Keto and OMAD for weight loss, and it is working great, but I feel like I enjoy the meats and have to force myself to eat salad and vegetables. Thanks for keeping me motivated and I see carnivore in my future.

  • Here is a little carnivore music from Bulgaria! One is eating candy and sugar and carbs and the other goes for a raw stake. Hope you like

  • I think the best part about the Carnivore diet is that it breaks the conditioning that saturated fat and cholesterol are to be avoided. Once someone goes Carnivore, they will most likely be 85% or more compliant the rest of their life which is a very good thing.

  • Hi Chris. What if someone already has digestive issues gerd and low stomach acid. Isn’t starting on carnivore a bad idea for them?

  • Very true about anxiety and depression. Mine totally went away. Skin is getting a shine to it
all over, looks healthy. Have lost waist and weight. Getting deeper sleep. This diet is working. I have a fair amount
of Neanderthal DNA which probably helps with this meat diet or so I have read.

  • Your channel is really one of the very few ones, that gives good and reliable information. As a father of two and very limited time, your information helps a lot. All the best

  • I really appreciate your experience. I am one that can’t lose weight if I eat over 10 gr carbs/day. So much of what you said reflects most of my life and I need to get back to what I call my ‘cancer diet’. I had never heard of ‘Carnivore Diet’ but am going to look up more info today in comparison to Eat Right 4 Your Type. Thank you again.

  • Actual questions you should ask yourself:
    1) Do you want to die as fast as possible from a stroke?
    2) Are you mentally sane?
    3) Are you suicidal?

  • Seems like there is a twitter beef between Shawn Baker and Paul Saladino now. Paul said PUFA’s in Pork and Chicken are bad. Shawn said PUFA’s are not that big of a deal.

Shawn tweeted back at Paul Saladino to go back to selling supplements and dog food

  • Hey Steve! Just letting you know that I’m really enjoying this series, and I think you’re being unfair to yourself when you say you aren’t a sharp man. I see the scientific approach you are taking as a very admirable quality, and I’ve just recently started my own carnivore diet because I see you as a great resource to learn from. You’re also super disciplined, which is inspiring! I’m starting to follow the tricks and tips you suggest in your vids, to make it easier for myself or at least gain as much as possible. I’m most interested to see how your body reacts to having other foods reintroduced, because I enjoy food (and the socialising that comes with it) too much to sacrifice almost all of it. Hopefully I can base my changes off of the ones that you make, to see what works best for me! Keep it up:D

  • I’ve turned from adding foods to my diet after carnivore to trying to fix my gut biome. Zero bloating on carnivore and full bloating when off of it.

  • 99% of people will get sick, fat, obese and die young on a meat diet. It causes cancer, heart disease, diabetes. Not to mention the suffering it causes countless animals and the damage it does to the environment. It is also a huge waste of resources. No human NEEDS to eat meat unless maybe if you have some highly rare and bizarre disease.

  • Jordan Peterson is a total fraud and shill. He once claimed that he was awake for 25 days from drinking cider which is a huge red flag. But the most disturbing thing is that he was an adviser for the UN’s “Resilient People, Resilient Planet” also known as “Agenda 21”. If you want to find out more, read “Jordanetics”. Written by the man who broke JBP’s brain, Vox Day:

His other streams on JBP can be found on BitChute and streams every few days on YT on his channel called the “Darkstream”.

Recommended streams: “Why the debt economy is collapsing”:

“The decline of the US empire

And of course, “The Madness of Jordan Peterson”:

Also, JBP is a “gamma-male” on the Social Sexual Hierarchy:

  • Really liked this episode. I have been trying to do dirty KETO for over a year. But still have cravings and find it hard to do. I love this idea and am going to do Carnivore and see how it goes. I am too allergic to many foods Thanks for the episode done respectfully and intelligently.

  • Nice information and just confirms that balance in your diet is necessary. Turning completely Vegan or Carnivour does have some unwanted effects.

  • Happy birthday! Great work on the Carnivore videos even during quarantine. I wouldn’t have blamed you for putting it off till things return to normal. Keep up the great work and I’m sure your viewership will continue to rise!

  • Why is beef so much more popular in USA than pork? In Estonia beef costs so much that i consider it a treat rather than the norm. Is the case opposite in America?

  • A carnivore diet is 70%fat and 30%protein? I mean a carnivore diet has to be ketogenic!? Or I can just eat all the protein I want?

  • I don’t know why they restrict this diet so much. I saw better result eating carnivore and one piece of fruit like pineapple per meal.
