the history of the carnivore diet (surviving on an all meat diet) If you’re going to have a debate on the merits of eating only meat, we should probably discuss the Inuit. The Inuit are an indigenous tribe inhabiting the Arctic. The carnivore diet is simple, you only eat animal foods and products.
Everything else is restricted. That means no fruits, no vegetables, and especially no carbohydrates. It’s almost the complete opposite of a vegan diet. How to follow the Carnivore Diet Following the diet involves eliminating all plant foods from your diet and exclusively eating meat, fish, eggs, and small amounts of low-lactose dairy products. Since the carnivore diet is an all-meat diet, this means that you will only eat 100% meat at all times.
You are not allowed to eat a little number of fruits or vegetables while you are on a carnivore diet. 3. Drink only water. If you want to stick with a strict carnivore diet, it is recommended that you only drink water.

The Carnivore Diet, as the name suggests, is all about eating meat and other animal products.
Basically, if the food came from something that could fly, walk or swim, it’s fair game, and you can have it morning noon and night. If you’re looking for the ideal carnivore diet protein to fat ratio, this should help: On an all-meat diet, you source your energy (calories) from two main macronutrients: fat and protein. The perfect ratio depends on what you want out of the diet itself and your level of physical activity. This post is part of a series about my six week carnivore diet experiment.
