2 lbs (.90kg) chicken wings/drumsticks/thighs; 1.5 tsp (5mL) coconut oil; 1/4 cup (59mL) coconut aminos (or soy sauce) 2 tbsp (30mL) vinegar (white or apple cider) 1.5 tsp (7.5mL) fresh ginger – find this in the produce section of your grocery store. It looks like a wonky root. In a large food storage bag, combine soy sauce, water, sugar, sesame oil, green onions, garlic, sesame seeds, and peppers. Add chicken wings; turn bag to coat well.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally. Step 1 Whisk cornstarch, soy sauce, oil, flour, sugar, eggs, sesame seeds, salt, and garlic powder together in a bowl. Pour marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag.

Ingredients 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup water 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons sesame or olive oil 4 green onions with tops, sliced 1/2 medium onion, sliced 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 to 2 tablespoons sesame seeds Dash pepper 2-1. In a medium bowl, combine the chili sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, hoisin, peanut oil, sweet soy sauce and the toasted ginger and sesame seeds. Give it a good stir. Place the chicken wings in a large glass bowl, pour the marinade over. Ingredients 1 kg | 2lbs chicken wing nibbles Drumettes and Wingettes (or whole chicken wings; tip removed and discarded; each 4 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons Kecap Manis (Sweet Soy Sauce) 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed/minced 1-2 tablespoons.

In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Add cut chicken to the egg mixture and stir to coat. Heat up olive oil in a pan and drop coated chicken pieces to cook. It’s easier to do that in two batches to make sure each piece is cooked.

Sift flour, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, baking soda, and baking powder into a bowl. Pour in low-sodium soy sauce, sherry, 2 tablespoons water, vegetable oil, and a dash of sesame oil; stir until smooth. Stir in chicken until coated with the batter, then cover, and refrigerate.

Make sure to get both sides of your chicken wings, shake off the extra, and place on a new clean dish. Recipe for “Buffalo Breading”, enough for 2 pounds of wings: Sift 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper in a large bowl or plate. These crispy and tasty Sesame Chicken Wings are the perfect addition to any game day or family get together.

  • 99% comments: you don’t need to wash the damn Chincken
1% comments: you SHOULD wash the damn Chicken
Me: technically, you need to double-fry the Chicken.

  • The batter will be so soggy. I’d rather use potato starch and double fry it so it gets crispy and stays crispy. The way she did it, it would be so soggy after a few minutes. Like when she bites into it there’s zero crunch

  • Do not heat honey!!
Cooking it deteriorates the quality and loses its essential enzymes and nutrients. Heated honey can actually produce delirious effects in the body and can be fatal at the same time. Cooking honey to 40 degree Celsius causes a negative chemical change that makes it taste bitter

  • Hahaha. “Good quality soy sauce”. In 45 years of cooking, I’ve never been able to taste the difference between el`cheapo soy sauce & ooh`la`la soy sauce. Nice joke though.

  • I’m one of those people who looks at the comments to see if anyone tried it and I didn’t see many people try and review so I’m going to help those future people like me lol it’s really good. I used the milk instead of wine and added soy sauce. I also heated my sesame sauce.

  • Please wash hands after tossing chicken…could not believe she just wiped them off o a towel which she will use on someplace else…

  • recipe is really too sweet for my liking. will recommend to put way lesser than suggester portion of honey!! please do urself a favor

  • Good idea sauce the eggs with soya sauce. But I think you should wash the chicken before use it and wash your hands after touching the chicken and not only dry in a towel. In Chinese cuisine, the hands are used to give like a massage in the chicken so the sauce is better absorbed by the meat so is not just to mix.

  • Okay let’s admit it here are the best recipes but if you want more awsome recipes check out grandma flavor :

  • First time making chinese and I unfortunately used this recipe, don’t try this recipe my sis was literally gagging in disgust when she tried the recipe (she makes really good Chinese usually)

And the batter was crappy as well

  • good morning. I really like your way of cooking and your style in particular. I have never know which vegetable they put in the soup of unton noodles, it has a thick stem and not so long leaves. you could guide me in this. I really like that soup. THANKS

  • I made this today and I’m not lying when I say that it’s tastes exactly like takeout but better! I didn’t have cornstarch or sesame oil but it still came out amazing. I used white vinegar as she suggested in her recipe when making the sauce. My older sister decided to make some egg fried rice and this was honestly delicious with the chicken. I’m more of a baker so cooking is my week spot. I’m 15 and I wanted to try to cook something other than noodles or rely on my mum and this was super helpful. Very simple and easy. Will definitely be my go to recipe. To anyone reading this that is contemplating if you should make this I definitely think you should!

Best thing I’ve eaten all quarantine

  • Hi Seonyoung. My oven can do baking only. It cannot broil. For oven baking method, kindly advise temperature in centigrade and baking timing.

  • Great recipe:) two questions:

    1. Can I bake the chicken instead of frying and it will have a large effect?
    2. Does the sauce taste ‘ketchup like’?

  • Just a question I’m quite young and I’m now quite experienced and know how to cook and I wanted to surprise my family with a delicious TGI Fridays dinner using the starter meal sesame, Jack Daniels chicken dippers glazed in Jack Daniels sauce and a dipping sauce so does it taste like it? Thank you

  • Just finished devouring this. WOW! It ticked all the boxes. The whole dish was simply fantastic and unimprovable! Well done that person! It had endlessly sustaining depths of flavour. The sauce dribbled down on to my white Tshirt. I do not regret losing a bit of laundry to a dish like this. Happy Days!

  • GIRL, yo a$$ can cook! My family is so impressed with my new cooking skills. One day I’m going to tell them my secret.. probably not. ;-P

  • Looks great, cooking it tonight. Probably a daft question but as a general rule, where you say a recipe serves 4 is it a case of just halving all the ingredients for 2 people or is that too simplistic? I know it’s obvious with the main ingredient (eg. chicken breast) but what about all the other ingredients that go towards the final dish?

  • Ever since you posted this recipe, I’ve been making this for my husband and I every Friday night. It is hands down, the best asian dish EVER!!! We haven’t ordered Chinese Take Out since…Thanks for sharing! Hugs…:)

  • 143 likes and 1 dislike. I’m convinced that person disliked by mistake because there’s nothing to dislike about this video. It’s easy to follow, no long intro, and no lame filler to stretch the video out. And as always, that ish looks delicious!

  • HI GUYS!! My lil brother just opened his YouTube channel. He’s 4 and he likes adventures! Please like his recent videos. And if you want you can subscribe too!☺ thank you for your time!

  • Finally made this and it turned out HELLA bomb! Very simple dish to make. I used drumsticks instead, since that’s all I had. Thank you for the recipe, you’re awesome!

  • i made this today and it was very good! I just made some adjustment like 1 tbsp of sesame oil instead of 2 and instead of 2 tsp cornstarch i used 1 because its clumping.. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

  • Nice! I will definitely try this one. Only eaten it at fridays a couple of times, can’t find it any other place in my country and they’re kind of pricey for what you get so I’ll definitely make this. I think they have some jack daniels in the sauce also, I’m gonna try it!
