Try Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation. Cream blushes and eye shadows are great for a quick application with your fingertips. Not only will you save time—they also give the skin a great dewy glow.

Line only your top lash line and apply mascara only on the top for a naturally pretty look. Here are some tips from Cralle: Start small: Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier every couple of days, continuing until you reach your ideal wake-up time. Don’t snooze, which can make it even harder to wake up (even if you. In order for you to have the best chance of becoming a morning person, you need to give yourself about eight hours of sleep. If you are sleeping less than eight hours a night and having difficulty waking up in the morning, then waking up is not the problem.

Your problem is you are not getting enough sleep each night. After all, you can put yourself to bed, but you can’t make yourself sleep—if your body isn’t ready, that is. Instead, move your bedtime earlier, by about 15 minutes a night. It might seem like a miniscule change, but stick to it and you’ll be in bed an hour earlier after just four nights.

In the Morning Turn on the light as soon as your get up. Open your blinds or turn on the light right when you get up. This will signal to your body that it is day time and wake you up quicker.

Light acts as a “zeitgeber,” a natural cue to our bodies’ circadian rhythms. The more light you get in the morning, the easier time you’ll have falling asleep that night. Top tip: Don’t. Wondering how to become a morning person? See these 19 tips to get started.

” Regular exercise, especially to the point that a person sweats, can improve sleep,” says Dr. Benjamin (she suggests planning workouts for the early morning so you’re less likely to miss them). “Avoid caffeine, especially after noon. Some people are more sensitive to caffeine and even morning caffeine can fragment their sleep the following night. Write down on a sheet of paper what becoming a morning person would make possible. Then, conversely, write down what is at risk if you don’t.

This is great to do when you are motivated; however, its real value is to keep you going when you’ve lost that first blush of enthusiasm. Get up an hour earlier and write 500 words, four days a week, and you’d have a full-length novel in less than a year. The time is there, but when I suggest people get up earlier than they need.

  • Make more of these videos. Your videos now have become monotonous. Just recipes. You started with a good note of giving good advices, you should continue that. ❤️

  • Are you still doing intermitted fasting?
Because i did not get it….when is time without eating…i do not eat in the morning until 11 am.

  • love someone that wakes up early that actually works!!! i hate when i see these 5am videos and these youtubers just sit on their couch journaling…like girl that 5am hit different when you gotta go to work!

  • Lol I have to put the alarm beside my bed bc
Ummm…. I’m a heavy sleeper but I wake up when the alarm goes off but the only problem is
    I can’t hear
    ANYTHING

  • My mom tells me all the time how when I was in her womb I was really active at night and super calm in the day. Fast forwars to being born the same thing happened. My poor Mom couldnt sleep cause I was active during the night. I remember as a tween relishing summer vacation bc I could stay up in the night and sleep during the day. This has continued during all my life. I like the night sky more than the day, the moon i find is more soothing than the warm rays of the sun, the silence of night and the darkness is just something that I find comforting. I love walking at night and just being out at night. It sucks tho that one has to deal with the imposed notion that everyone is a morning person. I hate going to school and work early but when i used tk work 3-12 I was super productove as well as night classes, where I participated way more than in early classes.

  • I pulled an all nighter to reset my sleep schedule. At 5:50 am my parents woke up and so I pretended to sleep. I open my eyes again and its fucking 9:30 am. How the hell did I fall asleep?? I had so much coffee in my body and was like jumping around and then just fell asleep! I’m so pissed rn

  • So i work 12h shifts day or nights from 7am-7:15pm / 7pm-7:15am 3-4 days a week, when left to my own devices I go to bed at like 2am and wake up are 11am, when im working Im up at 5am but now I naturally seem to wake up and 5am after a string of days does anyone else experience this

  • Are you struggling getting up in the mornings? Now you can be in more control when and what time you get out of bed in the mornings or before important meetings or early shifts or on time for scool after late night studying or important early events (just a guarantee not ever to be late again), no matter if you a night owl or suffer depression or went to bed extremely late at 4am this alarm clock is the cream of the crop. Because sometimes you got to study, some love to chat until late or u feel like you got to finish watching that movie or series and even occasionally we gots to party (not gona mention the porn addicts lol).. Luckily NOW you got a guarantee that you won’t ever be late again if you set my alarm (i made it & you wont find it anywhere else it’s custom-made), It’ll be a one time a lifetime investment only (not even expensive) that’ll help you FOREVER! I’m selling an alarm clock that makes you get out of bed immediately guaranteed, as soon as the alarm clock goes off it literally gets you out of bed and force you to walk all the way to the kitchen or bathroom to switch it off because the speaker next to your bed don’t have a switch or button to press to stop or snooze it from ringing you must get up and switch of in the kitchen or bathroom wherever you decide.. and when that happens automatically (Newton’s law an object in motion stays in motion”) that means by the time you get in the kitchen you’ll be freshen up and wide awake almost the same as someone threw cold water on you and it’ll be easy to keep moving (i usually set it for the latest minute i wana GET UP so i instead use my phone alarm just to WAKE ME UP). Send me email at [email protected] gmail.com to notify me you are interested

  • I’m hoping for a second or third shift in nursing, cause I’m a night owl, since puberty.
People tend to shame you for being a night owl ☹️

  • Are you still doing intermitted fasting?
Because i did not get it….when is time without eating…i do not eat in the morning until 11 am.

  • This video came just in time I want to become a morning person even tho I’m still struggling now but I’ll become one someday!
Btw the camera angle/movements in this video got me feeling headache…

  • I was always a night person.
But then something suddenly changed and i was craving for daylight but my fucked up sleep schedule wasnt helping.
As the daylight would start to fade, so would be my energy to do anything. I guess this is what growing up is like.
I was trying hard to fall asleep early but would always end up staying awake till 7am.
A week ago i fell asleep at 10. And woke up at 4. I HAD SO MUCH TIME.
And now i am trying to keep up with it.
I always take a shower at night. And i guess that has helped me getting a good sleep.
There is a reason why our circadian rhythm is set up the way it is. Waking up early feels good and productive. I am loving it.

  • I DONT LIKE IT AT ALL ASHLEY…. I LOVED IT ENJOYED IT AND ADORE IT TANK YOU HOPEFULY I CAN WAKE UP BEING A MORNING PERSON THX ☺☕

  • I would try to sleep at 9pm, wake up at 6 but as soon as 4-5pm hits im T.I.R.E.D
But then i sleep at 5pm wake up at 9pm I can stay up for 15 hours with full energy!
    Please explain

  • I admire your effort BUT… After all you all know you just have to say i will do it no matter what. We dont need 10 things to help us do it! Cant get any easier than that. You just dont snooze, get up and go. Good luck!

  • Yesss, I so needed this video! I want to be a morning person so badly but just haven’t been able too lol. Hopefully these tips help! Thank you

  • this is the most down-to-earth waking up early guide on youtube I’ve watched so far
not that overmotivated bs you regularly see on this platform

  • this was very interesting to me since I am a night owl and I am about to start a ‘normal hour’ job soon, I can function early, but it’s not optimum

  • I really liked her tip about changing her alarm sound. I have to admit, when my alarm goes off it does scare the living HELL out of me. I wouldn’t mind trying something more pleasant but i’m afraid i won’t hear it!
Update: It’s only been two days and I’ve been trying the new alarm..I can hear it just fine:)

  • I’ve been thinking to get the audible subscription. So I get it today with your link. I know I am going to love it! Thanks beautiful ❤️

  • Lol I have to put the alarm beside my bed bc
Ummm…. I’m a heavy sleeper but I wake up when the alarm goes off but the only problem is
    I can’t hear
    ANYTHING

  • people still should not forget that for grown ups it’s still the minority that has the late owl problems, mornings are for majority still the best time to get work done, and missing these critical ours sucks

  • Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the great support around this video, I’m thrilled so many have found it useful. I’ve seen a lot of comments from people asking why they should have an early sleep schedule like this in response, it was never my intent with this video to convince someone that they should or shouldn’t be waking up early! Rather, if you’ve already made that decision on your own like I did, these are just some behaviors that helped me personally build the habit. Everyone’s different, and above all you must do what’s best for your mental and physical well being!

Thanks for watching, and hope everyone is enjoying their holiday!

  • If i put my fav song as my alarm, that will just make me dream better, like if this is you too,

Or i wil, just like me own comment

  • This is so important. Ever since I started working night shifts (as a night owl) I’m doing so much better health wise. Mentally and physically!

  • I work in schools. I have disordered sleep due to ADHD but I can’t get treatments because it’s too expensive in the US. I also just have a different natural sleep pattern than morning people-my mom’s a 2am-10am sleeper and I seem to have inherited that. ADHD makes that sleep schedule vary wildly, but when I can get a regular schedule it’s 2-10. Trouble is, schools start at 7. I cannot force myself to go to sleep early enough. I try. I TRY. I will lay in bed for hours, not sleeping. I would say I’m not built for this schedule, but frankly with how tired the students are? I just don’t think schools are built for us.

  • What is the white stuff in that smoothie, please? It looks so good, i am going to Trader Joe’s to buy the ingredientsfrozen berries, spinach, whey-what am i missing? Thanks!

  • You are my most favorite person to watch on YouTube!! I watch you everyday and you come up with wonderful videos for your channel!!

  • I’ve started waking at 6 AM two months ago. Since then I’m way more productive. The thing that helps me most is waking every day at 6 AM even on the weekend days.

  • The body can adapt. People can change themselves. You’re just used to sleeping in and staying up late. Seeing how night owls also participate in other unhealthy behaviors that involve self control, maybe that’s the problem.

  • 5am is great especially when you have kids. It gives you some time for yourself. I usually use it for what I want to do everyday, but I usually can’t find time. I make it in 15 minutes chunks. So things like reading a book, learning new language, filling my journal, yoga, Udemy courses, exercises.

  • I think that the current set-up for work shifts (for say, hospitals) is wrong. I am a morning person.. It’s very easy for me to have 3am as my wake-up time. I could easily get to work at 4am; then, 8 hours later, I would still have lots of daytime before I went to bed at 7 or 8pm. Likewise, there are night-persons who would happily work from 8pm to 4am; then they could go home to bed at 5am, waking up at noon or 1pm, with the whole afternoon to do what they please. Makes sense to me.

  • I’ve always been a morning person. Never needed an alarm clock, and even on my days off I get up a 5 AM usually. Just always loved the peace and solitude morning brings.

  • This is amazing, doing the breakfast so colorful as possible, so you can look forward to your breakfast every morning waking up

I’m a night owl for sure!
BUT I have to be a morning person ASAP cause my first shift start 5.30 am yaaay not haha

  • You are my most favorite person to watch on YouTube!! I watch you everyday and you come up with wonderful videos for your channel!!

  • Excellent advice. I spent the past 3 months figuring out all of this on my own, wish I saw this video back then, would’ve saved myself 3 months!

  • how to be a morning person:
Dont have ADHD, a bagggage of lifetime regret, and sleep apnea at the same time.
    pro tip:
also be able to show passion towards something, ANYTHING in your life…..

  • Weirdly enough, the people I know stay up far too late so, in turn, I can’t fall asleep and I wake up at 4 a.m. tired as heck because my body hates waking up any later

  • I’m a night owl. For four years I had to get up at 3:30 am. For the first 2 years I would do my best to get to sleep by 10 and not nap during the day in an effort to turn myself into a day person. What I turned into was a sick person. I got every virus that went around, twice. I finally started napping during the day but, during those 4 years, I put on 75 pounds. Once I was able to go back to a schedule closer to a night one, I lost 50 pounds without dieting. I’m having to force myself into more of a day schedule again and guess where my weight is going. If you guessed up (and I’m sure you did) I’d like to give you a high five.

  • Tips to push you to make your bed: get a cat.

  • It sucks when you try to make your bed in order to not get back in, but once I grab my blanket I lean over my bed and bury my face in the blanket

  • I am 9 almost ten!
I start of by turning my alarm of then write in my journal! I get on my coat go down stairs and have breakfast and

  • my mom is a natural morning person. i was always a night owl, i remember 3rd grade distinctively because she would drag me out of bed at 7am and i would just lay on the hallway carpet dying. now that i work 7 to 4, and cant have my perfect 12pm college classes, i am about done with existing in this society. and worst of all my mom is a very needy extrovert so of course she not only screams at me when im playing games at 1am but she also chirps her disgustingly cheery face at me when she turns my light on at 6am.

  • Hey you, you’re finally awake. You were trying to cross the border? Walked right into that imperial ambush, like us and that thief over there.

  • The one thing she didnt mention is what time she goes to bed and the quality of her sleep. I am guessing she is in bed by 10pm latest. At her age, social life must be pretty dull! lol

  • I can’t wake up early. I wake up in the afternoon and then I spend hours on my phone in bed and get out of bed at one to two pm

  • Has anyone had any luck with this? I’m totally nocturnal and it’s been pretty bad. I’ve lost jobs because of it and it’s kind of ruining my life now that I have a baby. It’s so hard.

  • I want to wake up at 5 or you know, early, but I am not allowed because my parents think it is bad because I take forever to get to sleep. But because of my morning routine, which is basically run by my parents, I am not a good morning person. Anyone have any tips for me to persuade the parents? PLEASE!!!

  • Is that milk or cream that you put in your coffee? What kind of container do you have your milk for your coffee in?Can you link it please

  • My morning starts at 5AM, I’ll do my daily scripture reading and spend few minutes on journal writing while playing some soothing classical music on spotify to start my day. Then I’ll go out for a jog then shower when I come back. I’ll have simple breakfast then spend some extra 15-30 minutes reading my favorite novel. After that, I’ll do my work and study. I don’t scroll through social media nor email nor games on my phone in the morning except for alarm and checking the weather. I’ve been following this routine for a week now and it’s pretty nice. I’m much more productive in the morning than in the afternoon:)

  • Life changing tip…
Don’t use that type of coffee maker. I had one exploded in my face. I needed to go to the hospital with burns and head concussion….

  • It’s refreshing to see a morning routine I can relate to…. Someone who has to be at an office in the morning. Blessings to those who work from home!

  • I really love this video, but I have a question: I am a student (11th Grade) and I HAVE to get up at 5AM to catch my train at 6AM (so I can’t workout in the morning I have school till 3PM or 4PM most of the time and I’m home around 5PM to 6PM; I drive over an hour to school) what can I do in the morning in this hour or hour and a half because I could get up at 4:30AM? Because I loved working out but since I transferred to this new school I really don’t have time for that. Do you or anyone has Tipps or any suggestions? Besides sport, how can I get the most out of my morning because my evening is full of homework and studying and maybe a bit of friends…?

  • Omg I’m the furthest thing from a morning person, I had to start putting my phone across the room so I don’t just snooze my alarm in the morning I recently did a similar ish video Bc it’s so hard for me to get up in the morning! Especially when it’s cold and dark out

  • wow this video was amazing thank you! this motivated me to actually thinking of getting up earlier because my sleep schedule is so wack rn

  • what if you have to work late sometimes. I have a part time job so some days I could work from 1-9 but other days i stay until close (1 AM). How would I manage that with waking up as early as i want to? I found that I am more productive in the morning but I think it would be difficult with such a fluctuating schedule. (Most days I work until 10 or 11 PM but sometimes theyll ask if I can close). Please reply with any tips.

  • I thought I was a night owl but waking up at 10am still sounds like morning lark to me, so maybe I’m more of a person who needs to Google severe circadian rhythm disorder, since I work best when I sleep and wake with the sun, but in the opposite way than what’s socially acceptable haha

  • Are you struggling getting up in the mornings? • Ah! Perfect!!! This is just what I needed I do most of these things in the morning, except need to do more organizing at night also i workout after breakfast Really I feel like I do these exact same things and your vidoes are just amazing!! They really help me get back on track of everything!!!

  • when i used to wake up of school, lol, I would ya know wake up and stuff but i remeber one time during the winter, it was so dark out i made myself DINNER then like almost went back to bed. it was the weirdest shit ever

  • As a night owl my entire life and perpetually exhausted to matter how much sleep I get, I feel this. Literally nothing is made with my schedule in mind. 3am-10am is the perfect amount of sleep at the right time, but what starts after 10am? Pretty much nothing.

  • I admire your effort BUT… After all you all know you just have to say i will do it no matter what. We dont need 10 things to help us do it! Cant get any easier than that. You just dont snooze, get up and go. Good luck!

  • Throughout my life I’ve switched between a night owl and a morning person depending on what my life at the time demands. I can switch relatively easily but either way I need to maintain it or else I swing between the two fairly rapidly. Does this mean I’m somewhere in between even though sometimes I wake up consistently at 4 am and other times I wake up consistently at 12 pm?

  • Great tips! I’m so not a morning person either! Finding it so hard to get up and workout in the morning. Will try your tips. Love your home decor mix of neutrals with pops of color.

  • I’m not directly a morning person but I think I’m kind of. I mean, waking up at 5:40 am to walk the dog half an hour before school even though I just have to leave at house at 7:30, is kind succes for me:). Usually I would sleep till 6:30 but now that I (have to) walk the dog, it has become kind of normal to wake up that early

  • Sunday, Feb 02nd,2020 @ 8:30 pm Hi Ashley and rate this vlog 10/10 as your suggestions ring true today as they did back on Sept.22nd,2017 and my only question is: Anything new you have come up with to add to becoming a better person????? Have a great day. Thank you.

  • I have like birdsong as my alarm and I used to put my phone across my room but I literally hated it so much so now it’s at the end of my bed which at least makes me sit up and I don’t have time to listen to music or make my bed so like and my days are pretty much the same like school and dance and homework and sleep and if I even take a five minute break in the morning I’ll miss the bus but I do make tea in the morning and it’s nice and I try to set my outfit out but I have issues so like I’ll wake up and not feel like wearing what I had already picked out like why do I do this to myself

  • Is that milk or cream that you put in your coffee? What kind of container do you have your milk for your coffee in?Can you link it please

  • I work 7pm to 7am at a factory. The job itself is pretty easy but the hardest parts are getting to sleep on time and the difficulties of waking up when many important businesses have already closed. Often times I don’t go sleep until noon which in best case scenarios means I only get about 5 hours of sleep. When I need to say go to my bank, visit a doctor, mechanic, etc. I have to stay up later or wake up earlier making my sleeping habits super inconsistent. Not to mention things like road construction and day commuters add a whole lot of noise into the mix which can lead to waking up repeatedly and thereby reducing your overall rem cycle sleep. It’s a recipe for insomnia if I’ve ever seen one.

  • I really needed this video as I wanted to become a morning person again
I was one but after the baby things changed so my body. Now I want sometime for myself and it can only happen by waking up early.
    So thank you.

  • Hi, quick question! I try to wake up to pleasant music instead of obnoxious beeping sounds however, if my ringer isn’t set to full volume, I just don’t hear it and I sleep through it. Because it’s so loud, I tend to turn it off by reflex as to not wake up my dad (who sleeps very lightly and isn’t a morning person). Is there any way I can make it so I don’t have to put on obnoxiously loud music to wake up?

  • With the ongoing rise of oligarchy, the gig economy and erosion of worker’s rights and protections, night owls may be in for an even more difficult time in the US than they have had historically.

  • For me is quite impossible to do so because my family. My kids just don’t play along. Damn, they stay up until late and there is no living being able to make them bed early. I damn try, but its a work in progress

  • I have discovered another hack: if you have a bit too comfortable blanket( mine was a super soft and fluffy one)then using a blanket (or more if necessary) thats a little less comfortable can help in oversleeping.

This helps me because my old blanket felt like hugging fluffy animal. It was way too comfy for my good so I guess sometimes it’s worth the sacrifice lol

  • The biggest con for this routine, if you are under 18, and u live with parents who hates video games. People like me, if we get up early, and if i would turn on game, my parents would punch me, and say that games are bad for me, and now i even wake up so early, because of games blah blah blah…

  • I could never, even if I planned it I would still just lay in bed and tell myself 5 more minutes. And then, wake up an hour later.

who here in 2020, and in quarantine!!!!!!!!!

  • Even if I sleep at 8pm or 3am, I wake up at 11am. Is that normal?
Also, though I mentally prepare myself the night before about what I would do the next day, it takes me few seconds to stop my alarm and go back sleep.
I really need to change this habit of mine.

  • love someone that wakes up early that actually works!!! i hate when i see these 5am videos and these youtubers just sit on their couch journaling…like girl that 5am hit different when you gotta go to work!

  • Im a constant change. I get a wild rush of energy closer to the end of the day, but last year I did function as a early bird and always functioned really well… until a friend said sleep sucks and I saw it as a challenge. Bad choice! My sleep changes all the time, but as long as I take nine hours of sleep everything will be fine!

  • Love it I have been waking up at 5 in the morning for the last 3 years… I get so much done my time to exercise time for me and my hubby..

  • As a night owl I spent 40 years suffering through mornings and no, you can’t change. At least I couldn’t. Now I’m retired and I sleep to about 10 everyday. It feels great to finally get some sleep.

  • how to be a morning person:
Dont have ADHD, a bagggage of lifetime regret, and sleep apnea at the same time.
    pro tip:
also be able to show passion towards something, ANYTHING in your life…..

  • It’s hard for me to get up I’m starting a new job so I’m trying to get in the grove of waking up I like how she worships in am because that’s what I do thank the Lord for another day

  • It’s hard for me to get up I’m starting a new job so I’m trying to get in the grove of waking up I like how she worships in am because that’s what I do thank the Lord for another day

  • Omg, this came at the most PERFECT time! Been trying my hardest to wake up earlier but it hasn’t been working. I think implementing some of these tips (especially the cleaning/tidying up the night before and putting the phone far away) will really help get my booty out of bed:D

  • Here in Spain you can study on the evening. Starting at about 4:30PM and ending at 10PM

I would like for society to go to sleep at 5AM and wake up at 2PM

  • 1.put your alarm out of reach 1:05
    2.create a morning playlist 1:25
    3.make your bed immediately 2:00
4.make a to do list that morning 2:40
    5.have a moment 4 yourself 3:15
6.get your caffeine first thing 4:00
7.set your outfit out the night before 4:55
    8.stick your morning schedule 5:30

  • I want to wake up at 5 or you know, early, but I am not allowed because my parents think it is bad because I take forever to get to sleep. But because of my morning routine, which is basically run by my parents, I am not a good morning person. Anyone have any tips for me to persuade the parents? PLEASE!!!

  • I just love your channel! I find that even when I’m tired, giving myself an extra 15 min in the morning just makes my whole day go smoother. I am trying to become a non snoozer!!!

  • I’m curious tho. What if someone moved to a different country with a vastly different time zone? Like Japan or South Korea or Australia. Like I know jet lag is a thing but is there a chance that adjusting your body to a 13 hr shift in time could be better/worse for ppl depending on their chronotypes? Or would you just not be affected at all after you pass that period of initial jet lag?

  • Nope didn’t work for me. How do you go to sleep early when you get off work late at 11pm? And then have to still prepare for the next day? And get to work again at 8am at night is really the only down time I have during the night. And there is absolutely nothing that makes me exited to wake up. I tried caffeine going to the gym taking cold showers. My brain will not function correctly. And I feel like I’ve been sleep deprived for years now. And it’s taking a huge toll on me. I’m feel like a zombie every day literally emotionless because of how tired I always am. Oh and going to sleep early is a no go. I’m going to bed by 1am no matter what I do

  • I could never, even if I planned it I would still just lay in bed and tell myself 5 more minutes. And then, wake up an hour later.

who here in 2020, and in quarantine!!!!!!!!!

  • I DONT LIKE IT AT ALL ASHLEY…. I LOVED IT ENJOYED IT AND ADORE IT TANK YOU HOPEFULY I CAN WAKE UP BEING A MORNING PERSON THX ☺☕

  • Quote “even though I’m not into it and I’m angry and I want to be asleep”..I’m not a morning person either, and I so identify‍♀️love your videos btw

  • Excellent advice. I spent the past 3 months figuring out all of this on my own, wish I saw this video back then, would’ve saved myself 3 months!

  • I saw the alarm tune Una Mattina, dude that is my ringtone and yes it is so soothing and lovely who wouldn’t wanna wake up to that. will surely set it as my alarm tune too!

  • Has anyone had any luck with this? I’m totally nocturnal and it’s been pretty bad. I’ve lost jobs because of it and it’s kind of ruining my life now that I have a baby. It’s so hard.

  • She:set up alarms away!!
    Me:I should try it!!!

My mind:nothing can stop me!!I am ready to wake up,get off from bed, turn it off & sleep again.

  • Quote “even though I’m not into it and I’m angry and I want to be asleep”..I’m not a morning person either, and I so identify‍♀️love your videos btw

  • Oh my, the last time i saw your channel you didn’t have thousands of views yet. I’m so surprised and happy you’ve reached the 5-6 digit mark already! Congrats DevDuck

  • The one thing she didnt mention is what time she goes to bed and the quality of her sleep. I am guessing she is in bed by 10pm latest. At her age, social life must be pretty dull! lol

  • This is so important. Ever since I started working night shifts (as a night owl) I’m doing so much better health wise. Mentally and physically!

  • i’m here to learn how to be a morning bird, because my boyfriend is one, and he keeps telling me to wake up early and go for a walk with him. I want to wake up early with him, yes, but i need to find a way to wake up without killing him

  • I’m so not a morning person but I do love getting up early that’s my me time im a mother of two girls 5&6 and it’s nice to have my coffee and read a motivational book b4 everyone’s up I put on the cutest cozy outfit light a candle snuggle on the couch with my coffee and reflect for about 30min its amazing

  • You cant get out of bed because the temperature is just right and ur so cozy and when you get out of bed temperature drops and ur cold. That’s why you need coffee

  • Hey you, you’re finally awake. You were trying to cross the border? Walked right into that imperial ambush, like us and that thief over there.

  • As a night owl I spent 40 years suffering through mornings and no, you can’t change. At least I couldn’t. Now I’m retired and I sleep to about 10 everyday. It feels great to finally get some sleep.

  • Weirdly enough, the people I know stay up far too late so, in turn, I can’t fall asleep and I wake up at 4 a.m. tired as heck because my body hates waking up any later

  • Well a nice video regarding the morning routine, But i have a question? as you said that you listen to audible and complete a book in a week, as after listening a book at incredible speed so does it make some influence on you or u just listen it or try to understand while listening.

  • The playing video games tip actually worked every time with me. I used to do it naturally but now I can’t cuz I stopped playing video games, so yea..

  • God, I used to get a whole hour early for school to play Fallout 3 when I was in high school. I don’t think I’ve had anything that I’ve been nearly that excited for since uni…

Still inspirational, thanks for the video

  • Life changing tip…
Don’t use that type of coffee maker. I had one exploded in my face. I needed to go to the hospital with burns and head concussion….

  • What she said:

    #1 clean before you sleep
    #2 plan the day before
#3 place your alarm far away from you
    #4 stop making negative excuses
    #5 set your environment
    #6 drink water
#7 accomplish something when you wake up
#8 start your day by being productive
#9 the more you wake up early, the easier it gets

  • Morning society dicrimanates night owls much more than disabled, women and race. It is the most blatant discrimination and nobody cares

  • My attitude is that if you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength.

  • God, I used to get a whole hour early for school to play Fallout 3 when I was in high school. I don’t think I’ve had anything that I’ve been nearly that excited for since uni…

Still inspirational, thanks for the video

  • Oddly enough, my circadian rhythm shifted around 2 weeks ago. I used to go to sleep at like 3AM and wake up around noon, now I sleep around 11PM and wake up at 6 or 7AM. No reason at all, just slept early once and now it’s become a habit.

  • I’m neither a morning lark or a night owl. What happens is that I go to bed at 11:00 and sleep until 9:00 or later. I wish I were a morning person. Sometimes I think my chronotype demands more sleep than the norm.

Thank you.

  • I’m a night owl since I can remember as a kid. It feeeels so good when I happen to start an early day and this video is so right into what I’m looking for as a deep motivation. I really need to step up my game. I’m looking forward for that “me time” 7am forward day.

  • Why, here we wake up at 4-5 AM to get to school before it starts at 7.

Honestly kills me because I can’t sleep until maybe 1 to 3 in the morning

  • get enough sleep, maximize time you are awake and have clear head. what hour clock shows is less important, because world is on 24/7 anyway.

  • Oh my, the last time i saw your channel you didn’t have thousands of views yet. I’m so surprised and happy you’ve reached the 5-6 digit mark already! Congrats DevDuck

  • wow this video was amazing thank you! this motivated me to actually thinking of getting up earlier because my sleep schedule is so wack rn

  • This is why retail sucks.
You close the store gotta be back at 7am and you’re mid shift the next. No regular sleeping pattern allowed

  • Hold up, schools in America start EARLIER than 8:30am? In Australia, high school classes started at 9 o’clock at the LATEST. We had homeroom in the morning from 8:30am to 8:55am and our first period started at 9-ish. We finished the day at 3. You guys have it ROUGH.

  • As a definite night owl, I realized in college how amazing it was to learn material in the evenings, versus the mornings. Evening classes made a huge difference in my ability to take in education materials. This in stark contrast to Freshman year class starting at 8 and then I would pass out from 9:30 to 9:45 NO MATTER WHAT. Going to bed early, more coffee, nothing helped! I just needed to shift everything down a few hours. I would love a society that plays to these strengths: having staggered workforce waves, for example.

  • ok but like the “stop” and “snoose” button are rly close together so what does turning snooose do. I would end up hitting “stop” then NEVER wake up.

  • when i used to wake up of school, lol, I would ya know wake up and stuff but i remeber one time during the winter, it was so dark out i made myself DINNER then like almost went back to bed. it was the weirdest shit ever

  • This is why retail sucks.

  • That was awesome but my body is so frikin used to sleeping 9 hours every night, I got myself sleeping from 20 to 5 but it wasn’t that fun honestly.

  • I do social media marketing for a luxury hair and skin companyI get paid to share the products via social media platforms! It’s my full time job so it’s comforting to know you can make an income to supply that but this can also be something on the side. I’d be happy to share details if anyone is looking for a new income stream amongst the craziness happening! ✨ there has never been a better time to run a home-based business. It doesn’t hurt to hear about it, always extending the opportunity!

  • The one where you have to make your bed really I think will help me because whenever I make my bed I hate it when it gets messed up idk if it is like and OCD thing but I really think if I make my bed right when I wake up I won’t want to go back to bed and I am the person to always find a reason to go back to bed so this really helped me thanks

  • Conclusion: Because we are a bunch of leftist, it’s never the individuals fault, always societies. Therefore society must change for us.

  • I can’t wake up at 5 am I want to but whenever I wake up my nose is stuffed and I can barely see which makes me want to go back to bed 100x more and then without thinking I go back to bed…

  • i had a morning routine before this whole Global Pandemic started going off. since then, so most of 2020, i slacked and have no early wake up time anymore and times difference from day to day. one day i wake up at seven, sometimes even 6 30 and other days i sleep until 9. its all over the place. i have not yet woke up at 5:30 like i used to. its sad to be honest, i have lot less time to do stuff. i used to write a lot of pages, and wordcount was almost at 7.000 words (about 7 to 8 pages a day, in one hour, thats crazy fast). now i barely get 3 pages done in an half hour and then i’m exhausted from writing. wheter thats due to stress or the whole pandemic thing, i dont know. what i do know is that i miss the time of waking up early (like 5:30, hell, even 6:00 is good enough of a time). and also having more inspiration and motivation to write. i dont have to work so i have the whole day for things but early morning was my writing routine. now its gone.

  • Why, here we wake up at 4-5 AM to get to school before it starts at 7.

  • I try to be a morning person but when you go to bed late at night like 11:30 pm 12 midnight it’s hard to be a morning person the only time I get up is to see my husband Alex off to work at 6am and then go back to sleep until my son tommy who’s 2 years and 7 months old wakes up and usually that’s at 9am. But I will try to be better Katie at that

  • I was once a night owl and then shifted in being a morning person cause every night before I go to sleep, I’ll keep praying that I’ll still be alive tomorrow— knowing that I’ll still have plans for my future and for my family’s and to the other people. From then on, waking up felt gratifying.

  • is never sleeping the answer…
    edit:
    also my morning routing was
    having 4-6 hours of sleep
    waking up
    wanting to be dead
dress up get in the car curse in the car cause i dont drink coffee and then freeze in a minimal wage welding job for 9 hours and return home and wanting to die again repeat

  • Omg I’m the furthest thing from a morning person, I had to start putting my phone across the room so I don’t just snooze my alarm in the morning I recently did a similar ish video Bc it’s so hard for me to get up in the morning! Especially when it’s cold and dark out

  • I saw the alarm tune Una Mattina, dude that is my ringtone and yes it is so soothing and lovely who wouldn’t wanna wake up to that. will surely set it as my alarm tune too!

  • Who else zones out the video to look at the comments and then when you start zoning in the video again you’re like
    ‘Ummm what u talking about???’

  • Even if I sleep at 8pm or 3am, I wake up at 11am. Is that normal?

I really need to change this habit of mine.

  • The body can adapt. People can change themselves. You’re just used to sleeping in and staying up late. Seeing how night owls also participate in other unhealthy behaviors that involve self control, maybe that’s the problem.

  • My parents and I are night owls and as a child I was not allowed to get out of bed before 7. Now i have to get up before 7 for everything and it has ruined many a day.

  • Ok, the object to grasp here is the great examples this individuals routine thats showing the public of what functioning successfully is all about.

  • for the past two years ive been waking up at around 01:30 am or 02:30am. at the time when everyone else is still dreaming is when i feel i’m more productive. although i only have 4-5hrs of sleeping every night (because i go to bed at around 8 or 9pm max.) i’d also take a quick nap in the afternoon.

  • Well… if the morning hours are the time you’re most productive at then you’re prolly already a morning person… Cause “night owls” get more efficient as the day goes on usually:)

  • These types of videos and “what I eat in a day” are my favorite ones that you do! Totally makes sense to get everything ready the night before so your mornings are smooth ☺️ Thank you Katie!!

  • For a couple of years, I worked a 2pm 10am schedule. It was the only time in my life I’ve managed to regularly wake up for work without an alarm clock.

  • Why does everybody always only talk about how this affects negatively on night owls?
Did you ever think about the difficulties of being a “morning lark”? Like meeting friends for a drink, who insist on “the evening only starting at 10 p.m.”? A time you would normally be fast asleep? Can you imagine how hard it is?

  • I have a bad habit of stressing about going to bed and getting enough sleep when I have to be up early and be somewhere (work, meeting someone), and end up triggering my insomnia. I’m trying to become a morning person, since it works with my our schedule more. Going to try these tips for sure! Also, will you be sharing some of your running training?

  • Hello, former 9am waker here:)
Two weeks ago I started with my pint of water on my bedside and getting up at about 6am, watching some TV, doing a bit of coding then going to work. This week I’ve started about 5.30am (and weekends), running every other day after I wake up (first time in 15 years), watching a bit of tv, coding then going to work. I’ll get that game finished. Thanks.
Just got to stop the wife from snoring so I can get more sleep.

  • Me: just looked up how to wake up early
Why: Because I have a softball tornament that is 1 hour and 30 minute drive away. I have a 7:30 am game arrival time 6:30 so I gotta get up at 4 am. I go to bed at 4 am.

  • this was very interesting to me since I am a night owl and I am about to start a ‘normal hour’ job soon, I can function early, but it’s not optimum

  • What time you get up is irrelevant to being a ‘morning person’ Being a morning person is about when your productive time is. If your productive time is within a few hours of waking up, then you can be a morning person. If however, you are the type of person who has the best productive time 7-8 hours after you wake up, then you will never be a morning person. You body and mind has it’s own rhythm as to when it can be productive regardless of the clock.
This whole, “you can be a morning person” lie has been told so many times that many people believe it. Typically it’s those people that have early in wake cycle productive tendencies. As waking up at 5AM makes it seem like you’re a ‘morning person’ The reality is quite unrelated. I’ve seen plenty of people with early wake cycle productivity that get up a 9am and go go go. I used to wake up at 4AM everyday for my job, but it never made me productive in the morning. I would just be like a lump until my brain says ‘okay, productive time’ which was usually the early afternoon. Now that I get up at a more reasonable 10AM, my productive time starts around 5-6pm.

  • I’m a night owl
    WHYYY?!!
I just want to have that feeling that I can wake up early and have the energy to do anything and not go back to sleep or drag myself through the ground cause I’m so tired

  • I was once a night owl and then shifted in being a morning person cause every night before I go to sleep, I’ll keep praying that I’ll still be alive tomorrow— knowing that I’ll still have plans for my future and for my family’s and to the other people. From then on, waking up felt gratifying.

  • “No earlier than 8.30”. Doubt that’ll make any difference, considering the commute and morning routine. Plus if the parents have to show up at work for regular hours, won’t the kids have to get out of bed early any ways.

  • I got a job that starts at 6am. Over the past few months I’ve been waking up even earlier at 4:30 (or attempting too) so I can have a better morning! I’ve actually been enjoying it and it is making me want to be a morning person.

  • It sucks when you try to make your bed in order to not get back in, but once I grab my blanket I lean over my bed and bury my face in the blanket

  • Me: just looked up how to wake up early
Why: Because I have a softball tornament that is 1 hour and 30 minute drive away. I have a 7:30 am game arrival time 6:30 so I gotta get up at 4 am. I go to bed at 4 am.

  • I started working at Dunkin as a baker

I make alot of crazy decisions in life and am in no way an active person

Waking up at 1 has helped me really get my time out of my days

  • This video was really inspiring, i love seeing how other people go on with there morning and how to stay calm about waking up so early.

  • hahaha what?! Forgive me I’m a huge fan of the show, but I can’t stay silent on this one. When he said “society has to change,” I thought he was joking for a second (even though I felt it coming). Only in 2019 would someone be insulated enough from reality to suggest that nightowlism is a legitimate disability. I’m a night owl but if someone ever said that to me, I would immediately fire them. God (Brahman?) help us if there’s ever another world war. We are a country of babes holding the East’s New World Order at bay…and they know it.

  • I’m actually between jobs currently, and looking for an evening/night job, since I just couldn’t tolerate being up and ready for work at 7am. No matter how much I tried, and what I took to force myself to sleep at night, my entire system just didn’t agree with waking up & going to sleep that early.

  • That was awesome but my body is so frikin used to sleeping 9 hours every night, I got myself sleeping from 20 to 5 but it wasn’t that fun honestly.

  • is never sleeping the answer…
    edit:
    also my morning routing was
    having 4-6 hours of sleep
    waking up
    wanting to be dead
dress up get in the car curse in the car cause i dont drink coffee and then freeze in a minimal wage welding job for 9 hours and return home and wanting to die again repeat

Congratulations you made it to the end

  • I’ve started waking at 6 AM two months ago. Since then I’m way more productive. The thing that helps me most is waking every day at 6 AM even on the weekend days.

  • Make more of these videos. Your videos now have become monotonous. Just recipes. You started with a good note of giving good advices, you should continue that. ❤️

Thanks!

  • I always told my husband went we went to sleep had to be genetic. I’m a morning lark and all of my family are morning larks. Sun’s up, we’re up. Sun sets, we’re pretty much ready for bed.

My husband is a night owl and all of his family are night owls. Family reunions on his side are a nightmare for me. Nothing is planned prior to 1:00 pm and dinner is at 8:00 9:00.

We have 2 kids. My daughter is a night owl. She settled into that rhythm by age 3. My son is a morning lark. He’s been a morning lark since in utero. He would start moving right around sun rise, just as I was starting to stir. He was probably getting some hormonal signal from my bloodstream.

Two morning larks living with 2 night owls makes for bizarre schedules.

  • I can’t wake up early. I wake up in the afternoon and then I spend hours on my phone in bed and get out of bed at one to two pm

  • Changing the alarm sound is a huge help. Instead of waking up with a near heart attack from that horrible screeching alarm, I changed my phone to birdsong, and it gradually gets louder until my bedroom is filled with birds singing. It’s a super chill way to start the day.

  • If i put my fav song as my alarm, that will just make me dream better, like if this is you too,

Or i wil, just like me own comment

  • hahaha what?! Forgive me I’m a huge fan of the show, but I can’t stay silent on this one. • I’ve never heard my idols, true intellectuals and inventors of the world, yak about getting up at 5 am. Seems to only be an activity of virtue signalers. Invent something, innovate and you’ll impress people worth impressing. Get up at 5 am, and you’ll impress people who are so pathetic in their own lives that they’re impressed by getting up at 5 am. God it’s hilarious looking at the “sidebar” of recommended videos. Like 10 other YouTubers indistinguishable from you all with their own “get up at 5 am” video. Possibly the lamest thing on YouTube.

  • These tips are so good but I can’t use them because my cousin has been sleeping in my room during quarantine for the past 6 months so I sleep in the living room where my dad is working. But I will try these out when I sleep in my room again! Thank you!

  • What’s the difference?

I mean, You sleep at 10pm and wake up at 5am.
I sleep at 1am and wake up at 7am.

I play video games or code in the evenings, when everyone is snoozing about, and you do the same but in the morning,
    am I missing something here?

  • Ok, the object to grasp here is the great examples this individuals routine thats showing the public of what functioning successfully is all about.

  • I can’t wake up at 5 am I want to but whenever I wake up my nose is stuffed and I can barely see which makes me want to go back to bed 100x more and then without thinking I go back to bed…

  • I got go to sleep at 5 but not to wake up at 5 😉 was watching video about this the other day and it’s all in DNA so… I dont think everyone can wake up at 5 😉

  • get enough sleep, maximize time you are awake and have clear head. what hour clock shows is less important, because world is on 24/7 anyway.

  • I’m a night owl since I can remember as a kid. It feeeels so good when I happen to start an early day and this video is so right into what I’m looking for as a deep motivation. I really need to step up my game. I’m looking forward for that “me time” 7am forward day.

  • I would try to sleep at 9pm, wake up at 6 but as soon as 4-5pm hits im T.I.R.E.D
But then i sleep at 5pm wake up at 9pm I can stay up for 15 hours with full energy!
    Please explain

  • For a couple of years, I worked a 2pm 10am schedule. It was the only time in my life I’ve managed to regularly wake up for work without an alarm clock.

  • I started working at Dunkin as a baker

I make alot of crazy decisions in life and am in no way an active person

Waking up at 1 has helped me really get my time out of my days

  • I’m neither a morning lark or a night owl. What happens is that I go to bed at 11:00 and sleep until 9:00 or later. I wish I were a morning person. Sometimes I think my chronotype demands more sleep than the norm.

  • My morning routine:

    6:00 Wake up
    • Make bed
    • Exercises
    • Brush teeth & wash face
    • Eat breakfast
    • Shower
    • Get dressed
    • Dry hair
    7:45 Leave for school

Idk why I said this but HERE!:D

  • Hello, former 9am waker here:)
Two weeks ago I started with my pint of water on my bedside and getting up at about 6am, watching some TV, doing a bit of coding then going to work. This week I’ve started about 5.30am (and weekends), running every other day after I wake up (first time in 15 years), watching a bit of tv, coding then going to work. I’ll get that game finished. Thanks.
Just got to stop the wife from snoring so I can get more sleep.

  • This video was really inspiring, i love seeing how other people go on with there morning and how to stay calm about waking up so early.

  • Who else zones out the video to look at the comments and then when you start zoning in the video again you’re like
    ‘Ummm what u talking about???’

  • So am I the only one watching this pulling in all nighter on an online school night? I’m just seeing this to wake up a bit and get up at 4:40 am to prepare for my Pre-AP classes and my homework for that same day that they have already assigned

  • people still should not forget that for grown ups it’s still the minority that has the late owl problems, mornings are for majority still the best time to get work done, and missing these critical ours sucks

  • i’m here to learn how to be a morning bird, because my boyfriend is one, and he keeps telling me to wake up early and go for a walk with him. I want to wake up early with him, yes, but i need to find a way to wake up without killing him

  • Great tips! I’m so not a morning person either! Finding it so hard to get up and workout in the morning. Will try your tips. Love your home decor mix of neutrals with pops of color.

  • What stops you from going back to your bedroom and back to sleep after that alarm? I tried and this doesn’t work for me:( also I removed a snooze button long time ago and now I just set a new alarm right away I suck at being a morning person

  • What she said:

    #1 clean before you sleep
    #2 plan the day before
#3 place your alarm far away from you
    #4 stop making negative excuses
    #5 set your environment
    #6 drink water
#7 accomplish something when you wake up
#8 start your day by being productive
#9 the more you wake up early, the easier it gets

  • You cant get out of bed because the temperature is just right and ur so cozy and when you get out of bed temperature drops and ur cold. That’s why you need coffee

  • Someone: How to become a morning person
me: * lying in bed, drinking coffee, woke up at 11 am and stay in bed the whole day doing nothing and watching videos. *

  • 1. Have a morning agenda
    2. Turn off your snooze button
    3. Know your why?
    4. Have gym clothes ready
    5. Coffee/Tea
    6. Spend time with yourself
    7. Eat healthy

  • “No earlier than 8.30”. Doubt that’ll make any difference, considering the commute and morning routine. Plus if the parents have to show up at work for regular hours, won’t the kids have to get out of bed early any ways.

  • ok but like the “stop” and “snoose” button are rly close together so what does turning snooose do. I would end up hitting “stop” then NEVER wake up.

  • I thought I was a night owl but waking up at 10am still sounds like morning lark to me, so maybe I’m more of a person who needs to Google severe circadian rhythm disorder, since I work best when I sleep and wake with the sun, but in the opposite way than what’s socially acceptable haha

  • These tips are so good but I can’t use them because my cousin has been sleeping in my room during quarantine for the past 6 months so I sleep in the living room where my dad is working. But I will try these out when I sleep in my room again! Thank you!

  • I don’t need an alarm, I need a kitten crying and scratching my door and the knowledge that she’s not going away until I feed her.

  • Well a nice video regarding the morning routine, But i have a question? as you said that you listen to audible and complete a book in a week, as after listening a book at incredible speed so does it make some influence on you or u just listen it or try to understand while listening.

  • Eveh how many times I try to wake up early this quarantine……. I still get out of bed at 12 . Y’all know what,I don’t even care

  • I’ve never heard my idols, true intellectuals and inventors of the world, yak about getting up at 5 am. Seems to only be an activity of virtue signalers.

  • What stops you from going back to your bedroom and back to sleep after that alarm? I tried and this doesn’t work for me:( also I removed a snooze button long time ago and now I just set a new alarm right away I suck at being a morning person

  • Someone: How to become a morning person
me: * lying in bed, drinking coffee, woke up at 11 am and stay in bed the whole day doing nothing and watching videos. *

  • Omg, this came at the most PERFECT time! Been trying my hardest to wake up earlier but it hasn’t been working. I think implementing some of these tips (especially the cleaning/tidying up the night before and putting the phone far away) will really help get my booty out of bed:D

  • Conclusion: Because we are a bunch of leftist, it’s never the individuals fault, always societies. Therefore society must change for us.

  • With the ongoing rise of oligarchy, the gig economy and erosion of worker’s rights and protections, night owls may be in for an even more difficult time in the US than they have had historically.

  • I really enjoyed this! I also have worship music or a sermon in the background. I just hit subscribe the moment I heard you share you do too! God bless you ♥️✨

  • I’m a night owl
    WHYYY?!!
I just want to have that feeling that I can wake up early and have the energy to do anything and not go back to sleep or drag myself through the ground cause I’m so tired

  • I don’t need an alarm, I need a kitten crying and scratching my door and the knowledge that she’s not going away until I feed her.

  • I absolutely love this video!! I love working out in the morning as I feel that it gets me going for the day!! I am normally up around 4:15-4:30am every morning unless up super late. Love your videos and your inspiration!! ❤️

  • Changing the alarm sound is a huge help. Instead of waking up with a near heart attack from that horrible screeching alarm, I changed my phone to birdsong, and it gradually gets louder until my bedroom is filled with birds singing. It’s a super chill way to start the day.

  • I’m actually between jobs currently, and looking for an evening/night job, since I just couldn’t tolerate being up and ready for work at 7am. No matter how much I tried, and what I took to force myself to sleep at night, my entire system just didn’t agree with waking up & going to sleep that early.

  • My parents and I are night owls and as a child I was not allowed to get out of bed before 7. Now i have to get up before 7 for everything and it has ruined many a day.

  • Well… if the morning hours are the time you’re most productive at then you’re prolly already a morning person… Cause “night owls” get more efficient as the day goes on usually:)

  • I absolutely love this video!! I love working out in the morning as I feel that it gets me going for the day!! I am normally up around 4:15-4:30am every morning unless up super late. Love your videos and your inspiration!! ❤️

  • Yesss, I so needed this video! I want to be a morning person so badly but just haven’t been able too lol. Hopefully these tips help! Thank you

  • These types of videos and “what I eat in a day” are my favorite ones that you do! Totally makes sense to get everything ready the night before so your mornings are smooth ☺️ Thank you Katie!!

  • The biggest con for this routine, if you are under 18, and u live with parents who hates video games. People like me, if we get up early, and if i would turn on game, my parents would punch me, and say that games are bad for me, and now i even wake up so early, because of games blah blah blah…

  • Morning society dicrimanates night owls much more than disabled, women and race. It is the most blatant discrimination and nobody cares

  • 1. Have a morning agenda
    2. Turn off your snooze button
    3. Know your why?
    4. Have gym clothes ready
    5. Coffee/Tea
    6. Spend time with yourself
    7. Eat healthy

  • Oddly enough, my circadian rhythm shifted around 2 weeks ago. I used to go to sleep at like 3AM and wake up around noon, now I sleep around 11PM and wake up at 6 or 7AM. No reason at all, just slept early once and now it’s become a habit.

  • I got go to sleep at 5 but not to wake up at 5 😉 was watching video about this the other day and it’s all in DNA so… I dont think everyone can wake up at 5 😉

  • the problem with wake up to do something exciting early in the morning is the first reason I usually can’t get to sleep, because I am too exciting to sleep. my brain will not sleep because of the excitement

  • For me is quite impossible to do so because my family. My kids just don’t play along. Damn, they stay up until late and there is no living being able to make them bed early. I damn try, but its a work in progress

  • My morning routine:

    6:00 Wake up
    • Make bed
    • Exercises
    • Brush teeth & wash face
    • Eat breakfast
    • Shower
    • Get dressed
    • Dry hair
    7:45 Leave for school

Idk why I said this but HERE!:D

  • I got a job that starts at 6am. Over the past few months I’ve been waking up even earlier at 4:30 (or attempting too) so I can have a better morning! I’ve actually been enjoying it and it is making me want to be a morning person.

  • So am I the only one watching this pulling in all nighter on an online school night? I’m just seeing this to wake up a bit and get up at 4:40 am to prepare for my Pre-AP classes and my homework for that same day that they have already assigned

  • Haha lol this is totally opposite in my family xD I’m a super happy PM shifter and my morning-loving parents are everyday smokers. Lol it’s just funny how it works by me, and everyone’s different:)

  • this is the most down-to-earth waking up early guide on youtube I’ve watched so far
not that overmotivated bs you regularly see on this platform

  • YES!!! Thank you for this! Been fighting social jet lag my whole life! Society for some reason has deemed that “‘morning larks” are more valuable, to the detriment of all night owls.

  • I’ve always been a morning person. Never needed an alarm clock, and even on my days off I get up a 5 AM usually. Just always loved the peace and solitude morning brings.

  • I’ve been thinking to get the audible subscription. So I get it today with your link. I know I am going to love it! Thanks beautiful ❤️

  • I know this is 2 years old but… thank you for the free pdf. I took a quick look at the first couple of sections and it looks so organized and perfectly laid out, ready for me to use. Even this pdf will give me a little more motivation (an addition to the why power) to start the whole process. I am truly excited to become a morning person!

  • Teenagers are night owls and younger kids are early birds so of course high school has to be the earliest and grade school has to be latest.

  • I just love your channel! I find that even when I’m tired, giving myself an extra 15 min in the morning just makes my whole day go smoother. I am trying to become a non snoozer!!!

  • Teenagers are night owls and younger kids are early birds so of course high school has to be the earliest and grade school has to be latest.

  • What’s the difference?

I mean, You sleep at 10pm and wake up at 5am.
I sleep at 1am and wake up at 7am.

I play video games or code in the evenings, when everyone is snoozing about, and you do the same but in the morning,
    am I missing something here?

  • Ah! Perfect!!! This is just what I needed I do most of these things in the morning, except need to do more organizing at night also i workout after breakfast Really I feel like I do these exact same things and your vidoes are just amazing!! They really help me get back on track of everything!!!

  • This is amazing, doing the breakfast so colorful as possible, so you can look forward to your breakfast every morning waking up

I’m a night owl for sure!
BUT I have to be a morning person ASAP cause my first shift start 5.30 am yaaay not haha

  • Ive started waking up at 4:30 and I really feel so much better lol. I like being awake when the air is fresh and cool and everyone else is asleep

  • As a night owl my entire life and perpetually exhausted to matter how much sleep I get, I feel this. Literally nothing is made with my schedule in mind. 3am-10am is the perfect amount of sleep at the right time, but what starts after 10am? Pretty much nothing.

  • Eveh how many times I try to wake up early this quarantine……. I still get out of bed at 12 . Y’all know what,I don’t even care

  • Here in Spain you can study on the evening. Starting at about 4:30PM and ending at 10PM

I would like for society to go to sleep at 5AM and wake up at 2PM

  • I really needed this video as I wanted to become a morning person again
I was one but after the baby things changed so my body. Now I want sometime for myself and it can only happen by waking up early.
    So thank you.

  • Haha lol this is totally opposite in my family xD I’m a super happy PM shifter and my morning-loving parents are everyday smokers. Lol it’s just funny how it works by me, and everyone’s different:)

  • She:set up alarms away!!
    Me:I should try it!!!

My mind:nothing can stop me!!I am ready to wake up,get off from bed, turn it off & sleep again.
