Growth happens at our limits, wherever they may lie. It’s how much we can become comfortable with being uncomfortable that will determine just how much we can grow. To paraphrase Professor Barnhardt in The Day the Earth Stood Still: At the precipice we change.

But your growth depends on discomfort.

It pays to explore new routines, paths, ideas, disciplines and new ways to be better at what you do. A growth mindset requires leaders to be more inclusive to the unique needs and perspectives of others. Growth requires more than sales and revenue; it requires a clear understanding of human. A growth mindset is one that helps us see skills as capable of improvement. It allows us to see gaps in our knowledge as opportunities to learn something new.

And when we have a growth mindset, we are therefore more prepared to experience the change moment as a challenge, rather than a threat. The human mind has great potential, but we rarely recognize it fully. Most of us work from within our comfort zones expecting extraordinary things to happen. But extraordinary things only happen as a result of extraordinary efforts.

This means that you should go to your highest limits to uncover your fullest. The comfort zone, as defined by Lifehacker, is a “behavioral space where your activities and behaviors fit a routine and pattern that minimizes stress and risk” the operative words here being stress and risk.In our comfort zone, there is a sense of familiarity, security and certainty. When we step outside of our.

  • so he is saying the uk is much cleaner now, but neglects to say it’s because manufacturing has moved to china.
wow what a disingenuous turd he is.

  • 1972: 4 billion people….2 billion whites and 2 billion coloureds…
    2020: 8 billion… crazy… 2.5 billion whites and 5,5 billion coloureds….!!!!!!

  • It’s worrying that this (and similar) videos are viewed and commented on so little. The world’s fixation with growth is going to be our downnfall.

  • It’s absolutely terrifying how accurate Meadows has been in his report so far, I totally expect everything he predicted up to the 2030s collapse to happen. What’s even more scary is how everyone in the higher and lower spheres ignored his warnings, I hope he’s still alive when the collapse happens, just so he can tell everyone “I told you so”.

  • This speaker is verging on the edge of total delusion. Talking only in terms of decreasing rates of growth means that landfills are still needed, carbon emissions are still happening and resource use is still required in order to sustain the current system. The Planet is Finite.

  • 4% OF MAMMALS ARE WILD + 4% OF ENERGY IS RENEWABLE

Solar and wind power are 2% of total global energy use after 30 years trying. https://www.iea.org/data-and-statistics. By 2040 only 15% of global energy will be renewable. This is because electricity is a little over 20% of global energy use. By weight only 4% of mammals are wild ( humans & livestock = 96% ). Emissions went up 50% in 30 yrs, up 30% in 15 years. BAU = RCP8.5 = C02 @ 500 ppm by 2040 and 600 ppm by 2050 = 2X safe limit of 300 ppm. Renewables will be only 20% of global energy by 2050, even with new solar tech — thanks to AC, cryptos, chargers, EVs etc.

Dams and bio-energy are ecological shit holes.

You can’t burn forests for electricity to save us from the climate.

To get 30% of energy from algae would take a country the size of Argentina.

Soy and corn are gene modded to survive the poisons that kill birds, bugs, fish, frogs & plants

Soy and corn are treated with petrochemicals and nano particles for market

Soy and corn are wrapped in gender bending containers for shipping and storage, then we eat it – get sick – and buy medicine from the same people.

*There will never be a 100% green energy vegan world, ever.

We burn soy, corn and palm oil in cars, also plastic and trees for electricity. The trees come from rainforest clearcuts to plant more soy corn and trees. This is called green energy. It’s fraud for green money called carbon credits.

  • But we are still part of the biosphere. We use stuff we find all around us. As long as we are in our own playpen, we’ll do fine. Just don’t force people to move around to make $$ and attempt to control other people.

  • Al Bartlett speaks the truth, but misses the boat. If we humans have always attempted exponential growth rates, and we also do not notice when we are about to hit the limit, then the obvious conclusion should be that we have hit that limit a long time ago.

See http://stopattwo.org/exponentialgrowth to understand that Al Bartlett and Growth Busters are failing to recognize.

  • correct me if i am wrong, in nuclear reactions, it is the mass that is converted into energy. thus, the total energy isn’t conserved and the first law is N/A…

    so what governs it then?

  • This is bullshit, Co2 is not bad for the planet and the seas are not rising…… when it comes to resources, everything CAN be recycled, is it profitable for someone is the barrier….

  • In 2020, the Trump administration (Trump as president, who’d have thought that? Well the writers of the Simpsons did, presumably as a joke!). Well Trump the joke president (not a funny joke), doesn’t understand anything much (although he thinks he’s an expert on everything) and his problem and the world’s, is not a bacterium, but a virus, namely coronavirus or Covid-19. The outbreak has been growing exponentially, but Trump doesn’t understand exponentials. So Trump decides to ignore the virus and take no action, and does too little too late, aside from dismantling the pandemic early warning apparatus, set up by Obama in the wake of SARS, MERS and Ebola. Another thing: Trump lies constantly about everything, especially about the virus. It’s a Democrat hoax, there’s 15 cases, much more including denying responsibility (it was Obama’s fault apparently) & etc.

Donald J. Trump on Twitter: “Leadership: Whatever happens, you’re responsible. If it doesn’t happen, you’re responsible.”
    11:01 AM 8 Nov 2013

The warning signs were ignored, time was frittered away and testing was far too late, to monitor the disease’s progress. Medical equipment and protective equipment for medical personnel and ventilators for those severely affected is all in short supply. The epidemic hasn’t peaked yet, but it looks like it will rapidly overwhelm the health services capacity to treat those severely affected, as it has in Italy. Many may die, as they have done elsewhere.

Trump was Impeached by Congress, but despite clear and unequivocal evidence of multiple criminal acts and breaches of trust, he was not found guilty by a corrupt Republican majority in the Senate, and Trump the trash president and his enablers will jointly be responsible for those deaths.

  • This example is featured in the Hollywood movie ‘Inferno’ (starring Tom Hanks) as part of Zobrist’s TED-esque presentation (The movie was released on October 14th in India). It’s titled “Bartlett’s beaker”. Prof Bartlett and the beaker analogy are not in Dan Brown’s novel.

  • the demonstration is misleading… emission from OCDE countries went down because factories and industry in general has been relocated to other countries (China and so on)… so China pollutes more to product what we buy and live on…

  • when you talk about UK gpd growth, talk about egypt, middle east and co…
when you talk about FR gpd growth, talk about Algeria, morroco and africa…
let futur generations know how humans ; the white ones have grown in despite others…

  • How much of the decoupling seen in Western nations is true decoupling and not just exporting emissions to the developing world by shifting all the energy-intensive and polluting industries to other countries?

  • Government regulatory agencies always slow progress. If we look at the least regulated area of the marketplace the high-tech sector we see incredible progress, with ever higher quality at ever lower prices.
Contrast that with the most-regulated sectors i.e. healthcare and we see ever higher prices and no increases in quality (lifespan has been falling for the last few years)

  • It is too late. We need to go into survival mode as many around the world has already begun doing. We need to fight for food and water. The war has begun.

  • Potable water and the petroleum and other fossil fuels used for it’s transport and processing are the limiting factors in global population growth. The doom and gloom crowd warning humans to plan an exit strategy from Earth seem to forget the planet has a self-correcting default strategy for the projected lack of elbow room.

  • Same here, just saw the movie and it made me curious to see what’s up with the human population.  Either way, pretty scary thought.

  • …What a load of UN BULL SHIT COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA, meant to DECEIVE and DUPE the world population into surrendering their INDEPENDENCE and SOVEREIGNTY and accepting the centralization of power in the hands of a few SELF APPOINTED saviours of the planet, hellbent to establish a GLOBAL TOTALITARIAN COMMUNIST DICTATORSHIP!..

  • How can you say we cannot substitute energy?
Actually we are at less then 10 years of the first fusion nuclear reactor producing stable energy (and maybe less)

  • We have the answer now: some bacteria would say we are doomed since the 1970s, but all others would not believe even when they are in collapse phase.

  • Why do we need to grow? Wouldn’t it make more sense to design an economic system that did not require growth to function? Again: Why do we need to grow?

  • I love how they complain that not enough people understand the exponential function, then RIGHT after that, the animation shows a linear growth rate of the bacteria in the bottle….

  • The collapse is described in the book of Daniel in the Old Testament of the Bible and in the book of revelation in the new testament of the Bible. There will be a collapse. But it has nothing to do with people. It is ordained by God.

  • I feel that without mentioning limits to growth, the world is showing discomfort to the damage to the ecology, disappearance of rain forests, pollution.

  • Many people want to change their neighborhood for the better… Bill Gates want to change the WORLD for the better… a lot of conspiracy theoretici don’t understand this… and so they blame him for all the bad things imaginable. Bill Gates focus is just WAY bigger and wider spread than the average human being. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad man, contrary…

  • It’s incredibly frustrating they don’t finish the discussion with a breakdown of increases in efficiency plotted against growth. At some point there must still be a hard limit reached where growth becomes impossible.

  • Anyone else remember the 80’s, when it was all “Green House Effect is causing ACID RAIN!”? The TV had frequent PSA’s, showing buildings, automobiles and people being dissolved as soon as they stepped outside. We were doomed 40 years ago too, and were told the world would be dead and lifeless by 2000. All the oceans would dry up! Meh.

  • Lack of analyses because efficiency is Nothing compared by the bounce effect. 1 car consuming 100 l per 100 km has Nothing to do 1 millions car consuming 10 litres

  • This is basically a death sentence for a majority of humanity in the coming 20 years. And the climate consequences are moving faster and faster. I’m starting to believe that we will totally collapse in the very short-term… I just wanted to live a little longer in peace…

  • You will never save the planet. The sun will go red dwarf and destroy it no matter what, so let’s pollute the he’ll out of the plant, get our technology up to scatch, and become a space fairing civilization. Fuck your global warming crap the trees need the co2, you asshole progressives

  • this is a pile of shite. check out their book i think its called the “first global revolution and turn pp55(?) where it says that man is the ENEMY of humanity. they needed something after the collapse of communism to control peoples and they came up with greenhouse effect(by the way “the club of rome admitted /wrote this themselves). then it was global warming. then it was climate emergencey. forgive me if i got them in the wrong order or left some out-its hard to keep up to date with the shite.

  • He has self importance is for little. 1.5yrs of data gathering is insignificant. Promoting thought on already known issues is ordinary. His doomsday style speak is useful only if facts and causes for changing habits, stack up. His rhetoric based on fear over facts is will be found out for what it is “and so-forth”. Growth is only at our own risk, not to the danger of the planet as is the mistake of generating worry about climate/planet change. How is famine or war or disease problems imposed by the planet? Garbage

  • Great. Rich countries blaming poor countries as always for being continuously exploring our natural resources for 500 years+. No, I don’t want to export oil, iron, wood and cattle to rich countries in exchange for the destruction of our natural resources. But yes, you rich countries buy them, no matter how much destruction it cause elsewhere. While doing that also send away all your plastic and the dirtiest possible factories to developing countries. And we should be grateful and stop polluting, as if we could do anything about those big foreign corporation polluting and destroying everything.

  • Right the overshoot, wrong that with 8 billion people, there is no way to prevent poverty, desertification, ocean deaths, pollution, migration, etrc.

  • All paths lead to destruction. Without it, there won’t be any (re)construction. It is our way of quoting the law of constant law and energy.

But whatever we do, we ensure we care for at-least five people. Four shoulders to carry when we die and the one who leads those four to the funeral.

If you wish you may read this book https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.457835 (literally it means “for five others”)

I suppose you are a democrat but we can always amicably differ.

  • As the devolution of Consertives fast approaches that of single cell aboemba in their holy quest to become the dust, lint or doggie dodoos from which they were created, the transmogrification of “Liberals” as a sub species of bacteria is now complete.

  • Doubling every minute is only when conditions are perfect. Thinking of human population conditions are being improved all the time. Nature puts a limit on human growth because it takes two people to make another two people after they have been around for at least 14 years. So 7 billion in 2017 could become 14 billion in 2017 plus 14 years, 2031. but of course 28 billion in 2045. Something has to change to slow that growth down Yes Dan Brown suggested one way to do it in his book Inferno. Doubling every 14 years is not normal for any society but maybe every 25 years? I belive that Al Bartlett was saying that we should be thinking

that there would not be enough space for that number, so we must act now. Dan Brown’s Inferno idea does not seem to be a good one to me.

  • Why is there a difference between slide 11 (population decline starting around 2050) and slide 13 (population decline starting around 2030)?

  • This is an absolute revelation. Unfortunately no one in a position to do anything about population is remotely concerned. Our species is unable to do anything constructive. What seems like progress is, quite often, a retrograde step. One civilisation, still living on this planet in Australia has managed to live for 50000 years without inventing the wheel.

  • haha technology will not create nature. The economy destroys nature, money can’t create nature, technology might delay the end of economy. But economy can’t ignore thermodynamics. too optimistic… interestingly on the side of the multinationals and banks.

  • I don’t understand. When you look at slide 11, it looks to me that population growth will stabilise in 2050 but Dr. Meadows says we are in the midst of our overshoot scenarios ( 18:36)

  • yh i feel like revisiting the waves, brush up on physics today.
do you know what my original motive for mining through ancient history was?
Technical devices and mechanism! after i was surprised to see the use of bevel and spur gears as part of the door opening mechanism in the ancient babylon. i had already heard of the book of many tricks from the arabian world, which can be traced back to the byzantines. also looked into greek water torpedos, chinese hot air exploding baloons, tried to figure out a way to generate enough hydraulic force to lift a single block, used in the pyramids.. just an hypothesis, they had alot of water back then. also figured out the ortho orientation used as its layout. Just ancient accounting of anything which relate to engineering.
did you know that the cross bows were invented in ancient china? they were abandoned though, because it required an immense amount of strength to be able to draw one.

i am so glad that you weren’t there to see the look on my face when i first got caught into this mess. Holy cow, indeed..!

  • I still can not believe how people do still having babies without even thinking about it. How selfish Humans are? Because of this “ancient” system people doesnt even feel to think about anything! Our fates are settled before we even born. Go to kindergarden>highschool>university>get married and have kids>go to the same job till your youth is gone>be retired and die.
See how fucking easy it is, that one sentence is a 70 years life span, and it’s same for everyone. You think you are free, how cute. You are only free as you are allowed.

  • But we are still part of the biosphere. We use stuff we find all around us. As long as we are in our own playpen, we’ll do fine. Just don’t force people to move around to make $$ and attempt to control other people.

  • Well, world pollution still grows while UK’s is decreasing due to the fact that all manufacturing has been moved to cheaper less developed countries.

  • Professor mentions something quite self-evident: Because of the exponential growth of the population, we are aware of the problem too late to deal with it.
However, I have the impression that life teaches the exact opposite thing: When something grows too late, then we do not make the decision to tackle a problem, simply because we do not know the precise time that we should take action.
On the other hand, when something evolves exponentially, we perceive it, even too late. As a result, we do take action, in panic of course.
I could mention many specific examples but I think that everyone could think of something from their everyday life…

  • Vaclav Smil, as one of his colleague said is a ‘Bullshit slayer’. Indeed he is. His brief yet sharp commentary on Surviving Progress (2011) is a source of an inspiration.

  • For most people in the world, they view having a kid is a very personal decision that only impacts their immediate family and friends. Rarely do they take into consideration issues such as the impact upon the whole of humanity and the future that their offspring will likely be facing.

You probably have never encountered the following information which holds true for the vast majority of humanity on this planet.

It took around 300,000 years for the Earth’s population of modern homo sapiens to reach one-billion, at around 1803 CE. During my 74 years the Earth’s human population has more than tripled to 7.7 billion people. Those, who don’t see anything significant in this fact, must be living in a state of denial.

The vast majority of the world’s still growing population of 7.7 billion people are likely to reject my and similar comments in favor of blind positivism. Most people have strong vested interests in doing so. It’s become increasingly clear that many people reject evidence that doesn’t support their existing deeply entrenched worldview. For them, maintaining these views is far more important than the trashed future our offspring will likely be inheriting.

  • I think that in order to change our current production/consumption patterns, we must change the way supply chains operate and the way in which we measure growth. To measure a countries development we look at GDP, but GDP ignores the environmental impacts that come along with economic growth. In addition, we must further look at the world economies as integrated systems. While in the west we seemed to have already reached the futility limit (further purchase of consumption of a product does not create more happiness), other countries still face difficulties in meeting their basic needs. We cannot trick ourselves by setting environmental standards in our own country, but then produce our products in countries with cheap labour and low environmental regulations. We cannot produce unsustainable products abroad, import these and represent ourselves as the redefined green economies. We have to set new boundaries and look at our planetary resources as our common resources and thus, shift away from right-libertarian thinking (my country my resources) to more left-libertarianism (natural resources are owned in common). We need to develop greener trade regulations that include environmental and social implications. At the same time, we need to give our earth more rights and collectively decide about the depletion of our earth’s resources in regards to its regenerative capacities. We also need to include consumptions limits and stricter regulations in our economies. By supporting people purchasing at Primarkt (cheap products) we continue to support exploitation of natural and human capital. By forcefully increasing prices (lets say through taxes), we may be able to use the generated taxes to creater greener and fairer supply chains.

  • Thy for what you have done. Since 1972, the UN also put its shoulders under this effort by bringing together every 10 years the best of humanity in the decennial Earth Summit. There, not only a list of challenges is reviewed, but a plan of action to remedy the challenges, so we don’t run into a wall somewhere around the same year 2100 as mentioned often by a.o. the Club of Rome and others, and hence the name of that plan Agenda21. All the governments even local gvts are supposed to align their plans of action with that overall plan in their LocalAgenda21. Also smart organisationa and companies and even individuals align their plans with Agenda21 so they are e.g. quicker understood by potential partners as they are all using the same vocab, symbols, etc. The 2000-2015 Millennium Goals and the follow up 2015-2030 = 17 #GlobalGoals align with the endeavours initiated by the Club of Rome. • 1972: 4 billion people….2 billion whites and 2 billion coloureds…
    2020: 8 billion… crazy… 2.5 billion whites and 5,5 billion coloureds….!!!!!!

  • Clever guy, but not wise: He’s just not looking at the big picture. We don’t just have to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we need to get them to net negative to really slow the runaway train while ALSO reducing the amount of man-made chemicals and plastics in the world while ALSO increasing the amount of the Earth that is protected wilderness. He talks like reducing landfill 50% in the UK means you’ve solved the problem but if you keep using up limited resources and putting any amount of them into landfills, you run out of resources. The multifaceted environmental problems are far more daunting than he faces up to-perhaps because the timeline for his analysis only goes out a few decades-where his moderate reductions in man-made harm to the web of life only means that ecosystems will collapse a bit later than on current trajectories.

  • Quote from the above: “Theoretically it is possible for economic growth to continue indefinitely…” Contrast: “Anyone who believes exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world is either a madman or an economist” (attributed to Kenneth Boulding in: United States. Congress. House (1973) Energy reorganization act of 1973: Hearings, Ninety-third Congress, first session, on H.R. 11510. p. 248.) In any case Paul Ekins, Ph.D. in economics from the University of London, says towards the end of his talk that he is “only really interested in the next few decades.” Does he not care about future generations?

  • Let’s have a pandemic, then everyone stays home and the earth might have a bit of time to heal. People might also realize they don’t need much to live happily.

  • The collapse is described in the book of Daniel in the Old Testament of the Bible and in the book of revelation in the new testament of the Bible. There will be a collapse. But it has nothing to do with people. It is ordained by God.

  • We have the answer now: some bacteria would say we are doomed since the 1970s, but all others would not believe even when they are in collapse phase.

  • Prof Bartlett could have added the following: suppose the bacteria find THREE new, completely empty bottles in the nick of time, just as big as their current one, and quickly migrate to them. Suppose they keep multiplying as usual. At what time are ALL FOUR bottles full?

    Answer: 2 minutes past 12.

  • What Bill means is that he and his upper class eugenicist/psychopaths have to kill most of us off in order to maintain their positions. They are doing this under many guises. Vaccines is one of Bill’s favorites.

  • Oh dear. Are the Germans still trying to rule the world? I liked their old notion of the Master Race, and as long as they stayed in Germany and bred lots of beautiful Aryans (they are pretty as a people and quite rare globally. How many blonde blue-eyed scientists and female aviators and filmmakers from the 1930’s can you think of?)

  • Isn’t it interesting that they lean towards malthusianism? You’re an idiot by supporting this ideal. It is the very companies. That work for the elites causing the destruction of the planet. And using scientific methods properly there would be nothing but abundance and we could leave this planet and explore space.. But your fascist ideals won’t let you see that. Again, you’re an idiot.

  • So you say we have to drop the population because you supposed brainiacs are in the midsts of a creative block? Innovate to zero? Zero co2. How does that work?

  • Our democracies are just showcases for the world. The real power is hands of the gray eminence. We are doomed!. Mankind has become overactive in a collective Stockholm syndrom. We vote our way to the armageddon, the apocalyps has in fact already begun and nobody is any the wiser. The metaphysic sleep, the ratrace: run till you can’t run anymore!

  • We won’t avoid collapse because of the underlying metric that drives everything is INFINITE AGENT called CAGR. The WHY of the Blockchain is to replace this code with a finite one called #CABR

  • The issue is earth resources are finite there is therefore a limitation to growth. When they spoke about efficiency they forgot the volume effect.

  • I feel that without mentioning limits to growth, the world is showing discomfort to the damage to the ecology, disappearance of rain forests, pollution.

  • Perhaps this video would get the number of views it deserves if it’s title was changed to “Cute kitties watch bacteria in a bottle”.

  • As the devolution of Consertives fast approaches that of single cell aboemba in their holy quest to become the dust, lint or doggie dodoos from which they were created, the transmogrification of “Liberals” as a sub species of bacteria is now complete.

  • How can you say we cannot substitute energy?
Actually we are at less then 10 years of the first fusion nuclear reactor producing stable energy (and maybe less)

And using scientific methods properly there would be nothing but abundance and we could leave this planet and explore space.. But your fascist ideals won’t let you see that. Again, you’re an idiot.

  • Industrial sector cannot grow infinitely but other sectors may be able to. The guy is only trying to make a point that saving the earth will not necessarily require sacrificing our economies but the right policies and technologies need to be put in place. Total economic collapse will also mean the end of our Civilization though not of humanity.

I agree we should shift our economic structure. The way things are, companies produce unsustainably and purposefully make their goods have short life cycles creating waste and wasting resources to turn a profit. This model should be dealt with but it is good to know that humanity still has a chance to evade global warming.

What is wrong with these haters in the comments. God…

  • This is bullshit, Co2 is not bad for the planet and the seas are not rising…… when it comes to resources, everything CAN be recycled, is it profitable for someone is the barrier….

  • I would be interested to know what this old man thinks of Gates now that he knows Gates has plans to kill him and the rest of the planet with viruses and poisonous vaccines patented 666. tell us, will that limit growth professor?

  • Prof Bartlett could have added the following: suppose the bacteria find THREE new, completely empty bottles in the nick of time, just as big as their current one, and quickly migrate to them. Suppose they keep multiplying as usual. At what time are ALL FOUR bottles full?

    Answer: 2 minutes past 12.

  • Dr. Meadows said that sceptical people don’t come to his meetings but I am still a bit sceptical and the confusing slides and lack of hard proof did not help me to make up my mind.

  • Look bill has alot of good ideas but to use his money to push his idea of his future of his needs is not a one size fits all.everybody has the right to live how they see fit not everyone is or would argee with how he thinks wat is good for the world per say just because someone has the money to influence doesn’t mean they are right wat you want is great do your thing but to push that on everyone is wrong cause we’re not all the same and to say otherwise is dreconion at best…

  • Short answer, according to this talk: yes. All is taken care of, nothing to worry about. Meanwhile in Britain three years later: boiling in 38.7C, all time high breached

  • I don’t understand. When you look at slide 11, it looks to me that population growth will stabilise in 2050 but Dr. Meadows says we are in the midst of our overshoot scenarios ( 18:36)

  • It’s worrying that this (and similar) videos are viewed and commented on so little. The world’s fixation with growth is going to be our downnfall.

  • Why is there a difference between slide 11 (population decline starting around 2050) and slide 13 (population decline starting around 2030)?

Meh.

  • You will never save the planet. The sun will go red dwarf and destroy it no matter what, so let’s pollute the he’ll out of the plant, get our technology up to scatch, and become a space fairing civilization. Fuck your global warming crap the trees need the co2, you asshole progressives

  • For those who may wonder who the old man talking to Bill Gates was. It was Vaclav Smill, an insignificant scientist and professor emeritus in the faculty of environment at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Smil only wrote around 40 books on various topics such as food, microorganisms, energy and sustainability. https://news.umanitoba.ca/the-guardian-vaclav-smil-growth-must-end-our-economist-friends-dont-seem-to-realise-that/

  • Co2 is the gas of life for all life on the planet..we have a death cult running the world.
The more CO2 the greener the planet has become,,..obviously concentrated CO2 and other toxins mixed with it its bad for our health,

The same lot are pushing 5G which will decimate billions of our insect species bees other pollinators, it will cause psychological disturbances in animal as well as humans and cause cancer.

Hundreds of 1000s of satellites that will bask every corner of the planet in the most dangers mass concentration of WiFi radiation,

This all for the smart grid to imprison humanity,

Think about it the greener the planet the more species will flourish and thrive.
If we had zero CO2 the entire plant would die.

These people don’t want a lush diverse green planted, they want a cold mechanical techno planet, with all its beauty of species like birds dead..

The people behind all these agendas like 5G and man made climate change are not of our human species.

The sun has always controlled the climate and the jet stream the weather.

But these death cult psychopaths in charge of the world have also been doing geo engineering with the weather, they have also been dispersing chem trails with harmful toxins and metal particles they want to block out the sun, that’s were we get our victims D3 from all living species and plant life need the sun.,

  • I love how they complain that not enough people understand the exponential function, then RIGHT after that, the animation shows a linear growth rate of the bacteria in the bottle….

  • An interesting example, passenger aircraft speeds plateauing despite decades of technology advances. It’s due to the assumption that drag will always increase exponentially with increasing velocity. The solution isn’t known by many not because it doesn’t exist. It’s because not all inventors are either wealthy or influential. The answer is “drag negation” (google it).

  • Potable water and the petroleum and other fossil fuels used for it’s transport and processing are the limiting factors in global population growth.

  • Right the overshoot, wrong that with 8 billion people, there is no way to prevent poverty, desertification, ocean deaths, pollution, migration, etrc.

  • Perhaps this video would get the number of views it deserves if it’s title was changed to “Cute kitties watch bacteria in a bottle”.

Garbage

  • Sir, I live in Bangladesh. I am very poor. Now i am in big financial problem for lock down of COVID-19. Please help me. My account name: Abdulla Al Masud. My Payoneer account number( For Dollar 4027752160339).

  • Interesting, the speed analogy even makes sense with cars. In the ’90s hitting speeds of 275mph required a dragster engine. Now, a Koenigsegg with just a turbocharged V8 can do that, and still add some creature comforts.

“To meet 20% of all global energy by 2050, the solar industry would need to install 300 to 500 GW annually over the next 30 years. Current global PV module manufacturing is 100 GW per year.”

We burn soy, corn and palm oil in cars, also plastic and trees for electricity. The trees come from rainforest clearcuts to plant more soy corn and trees. This is called green energy. It’s fraud for green money called carbon credits.

Even without increased AC, EVs, crypto and charger demands, renewables are unfit for purpose on a global scale. 5% or even 10% per decade won’t do.

50 Reasons why wind power can not replace fossil fuels

    http://energyskeptic.com/2019/wind/

Global scale new solar wind tech will take decades to do.

They still chug out solar panels the old fashioned way, and won’t stop until they have to. It’s the same with giant offshore epoxy wind blades. They’re worth too many millions to shut down just because it’s wrong.

  • This is basically a death sentence for a majority of humanity in the coming 20 years. And the climate consequences are moving faster and faster. I’m starting to believe that we will totally collapse in the very short-term… I just wanted to live a little longer in peace…
