  • This told me absolutely nothing. I get PMS up to a week and a half in advance of my period and it goes in phases. First is irritability, next is sadness, next is fear, next is desperation, and then it all ends with exhaustion, both physical and emotional. Anybody else? And if it comes in a sequence like that, what’s your sequence?

  • like many others who have tried and loved “PMS be gone tea”, I’m a long-time sufferer of extreme PMS. Breast tenderness, insomnia, irritability, worsened anxiety, feeling down and melancholy. I’ve driven people crazy with my hormonal moodiness, and it often began a week before my period. I began taking this a week and a half before my period was scheduled to come, and I’ve noticed a tremendous difference in how moody I feel. Before this organic tea, my moods impacted my ability to function at work and in my college classes, but now I feel much clearer mentally and emotionally. I don’t panic at the smallest things, and haven’t cried over what someone said to me or how “inadequate” and unlovable I am (which never happens when I’m not PMSing).

  • I have really bad cramps. Like they’re really bad. They last the whole day, and it’s excruciating pain. Every second. Everytime I just let go and lay limp, the pain washes over me and I have to just grit my teeth and get ahold of myself. Warm water kinda works, but then there’s a flood of pain once I move the water. Pills don’t work either. They’re getting worse and worse. What’s even worse is, I’m a kid and this has been going on for a few years. It’s become such a routine and I wish I could just experience no cramps like other girls.

  • Maybe its just me but after having a kid my cramps feel so much different than before. Like now I’ll feel them more in my stomach or back. Luckily my period is way better now since I’m using the iud, but it was a painful process and I did bleed a lot more in the past. Since then my bodys handled it pretty nicely.

  • Hi ladies, to all those who experience severe cramps during periods like me, here is a piece of advice, boil a cup of pure water with cinnamon (not powder possibly) and let it to cool abit the drink. (Not too hot not too warm) It really helps me alot. For me hot water bottle dont work infact if water falls on my feet I end up feeling like pass out. Bathing the first day of your period is not advisable. Painkillers sometimes don’t work with me infact taking them induce vomiting for me though atimes they work especially ibuprofen. Otherwise I wish I can get a last solution to this pain. Good luck girls just try cinnamon warm water and let me know if it helped you.

  • When I have really bad period pain I don’t know what to do with myself.
    Often I sit on a toilet vomoting to the bathtub at the same time, that’s how bad it is. When trying to come back to my bedroom I keep hoping I am not going to faint on the way.
    I literally feel like someone is crushing my insides.

  • For the working out one, it does work for me HOWEVER, it only made it worse if I worked out during my period.

    I recommend working out everyday, and taking a break during that time of the month. Because when I was not as active I had terrible I MEAN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE to the point where I cried (I don’t usually cry because of physical pain) but then when I started working out I HAD NO CRAMPS AT ALL. Then I decided to be lazy for a while, and my cramps came back.

    Soo please at least try this.

    I’m in so much pain and I haven’t even started yet. I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. And I’ve been drinking water, using a heating pad and taking ibuprofen.

Everyone is different and lack different things, ive tried so many supplements but finally found what works for me.:Pms be gone tea;. I take this 1 to 2 times a day starting about 2 weeks prior to my period as I switch between this and my multi because some natural things can react badly together. So then after my period starts I switch back to my multi. THIS WAS MY LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Some tips to help with periods ( personal experience)
    1. Lay on your back, if you lay on your side its going to hurt u even more and itll calm down that diarrhea feeling you get in your lower back

    2. Keep your legs open while laying on your bed, it helps the flow come out easier so you dont get that ” i just gave birth to a jelly fish” feeling when you get up.

    And last is the heating pad its a BIG help when it comes to the cramps, but pain pain pills can work as well �� hope this helps you guys

  • My cousin suffered from Premenstrual Syndrome it includes number of symptoms related to the menstrual cycle such as Severe abdominal pain or cramps, Abdominal bloating, Indigestion, Tender and swollen breasts, Increased appetite and food craving, and Mood swings, etc. I used various medicines but got no relief. Then I used PMS Care Pack of Planet Ayurveda and got relief from Premenstrual Syndrome.

  • Just remember ladies, sweets can make your cramps worse even though it’s what many of us crave on our periods. I ate two cookies last night, I’m regretting it so much. I’m so irritated, feeling like I have an open wound that just throbbing in pain with no way to fix it. I feel so nauseous and sometimes I’m shaking with the pain

  • I always have a heated blanket near my bed during the first day of cramps. Just press it really hard on your lower abdominal area it really wants. Also, for my asian girls, i buy pouches of honey ginger tea. Ginger is warm in Chinese medicine and it really helps warm up your body.

  • Shoot i cant so some of these off my period. Unless this time of the month gives me super strength gunna have to modify it a bit. Like regular planks.

  • Do they understand period pain? I excercise daily, but cant take hot bottle. And it hadnt make any difference for the past 10 yrs.

  • This is a good workout no doubt but not sure I’d recommend it for that time of the month. Period workouts should consist of slower movements and deep stretches. Exercises like this are great for the week after your period when your hormones are high and you get that burst of energy!!

  • Thank you for this Emi. Actually I was worried that I might not be able to do a workout during my period (which sometimes took 5 days long). With this video, I might be able to do a workout even when I’m on my period. Thank you for this. I’m consistently following all of your workout videos and I started seriously last week for the 4-week full body workout challenge. ❤️

  • I quite liked the video because of Dr.Annie’s tone of voice and reassuring words telling us that we, as women, are kind of in this together. Anyway, working out really helps me and I try to keep irritations at a distance. I’ve got quite a lot of pet peeves which I’m still working on and the most irritable one is when I hear sounds/voices I don’t like. It used to be orders and instructions from my mum so I let her know and if the people around you care and love you, and you explain it in a way that’s not offensive, it should all workout. Other times, cold beverages have helped, too. The BEST way to deal with it is by inhaling some wonderful earthly herbs.

  • Kapalbhati pranayam helped me alot. I did it for only 2 weeks before my period and i experienced little to almost no pain. I’ve been on and off yoga practitioner, but this time i’m sticking to it forever, cause just can’t handle the pain. I practise the breathing exercise everyday now in the morning for an hour

  • Even though the period pain might be so unbearable that you might vomit, cry or feel suicidal, try forcing yourself to start masturbating. After 10 minutes, the g-spot stimulation will easy the cramping. Then once you orgasm, your uterus and birth canal will be far more relaxed. Really takes away the pain and the orgasms increase dopamine too.

  • No I can’t do that on my periods. Neither should you.:) it will indeed cause more cramps. It’s better to do just walk on initial 3 days.

  • 1 to 2 weeks before perood then 1 week during period you’re still experiencing symptoms leaves you only 1 week per month to feel good and normal

  • The best way will be menstruating at all. I’m so looking forward that day, never had a good relationship with my periods (curiously my pains have improved over the years, but sometimes they get so atrocious I’d rather die instead).

  • I have really bad pms. I get really emotional to the point that I cry myself to sleep every night plus my period cramps are worst I have to take painkillers.. So basically I only have 2 weeks in a month when I am actually okay.

  • I have a hormonal imbalance so my periods have been so irregular the only time I know when I’m getting my periods I get acne and get extremely agitated and cranky quite easily…wish I had a happy period but it just doesn’t happen because I have such a heavy flow it annoys me.
