Crush cherries to release their juices, then strain syrup through a fine mesh strainer. In a small liquid measuring cup, stir together 1/4 cup (60 ml) cherry syrup, chocolate extract and vanilla. 1. Add boiling water to gelatin mix in a medium bowl; stir for 2 min. or until completely dissolved. 2. Microwave evaporated milk and chocolate in microwaveable bowl on high for 2 min. or until. Cherry and dark chocolate just works so well together – the rich bitter cacao and the tangy cherries are a combination made in heaven.

These healthy 3 ingredient treats are full of nutrition without any added sugar. A cherry almond healthy filling is covered in chocolate. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Step 2 In a large bowl, combine cake mix, cherry pie filling, almond extract, and 2 eggs by hand; stir until well blended. It smells of lightly roasted caramel malt, more sweet than bitter grocery aisle chocolate, and a slightly sour cherry and prune fruitiness. The taste starts with some pithy mild baker’s chocolate, followed by a sour cherry pie essence, and some late to the party caramel malt sweetness.

  • Wow that whole thing looks bangin! Love the idea of a real cherry topping instead of that gooey fake stuff in the can. Gonna try this one for sure…

  • That mascara is amazing. I’ve always worn the Mac 3d mascara then switched to Benefit Rollerlash but none of them give the volume or length the Bobbi Brown one has. It almost looks as though your wearing false lashes. It’s stunning! I think i’l be purchasing that mascara after ive watched the rest of this tutorial. Thankyou for showing me a mascara that gives me the look I want without having to add false lashes.

  • Sorry I might be confusing this with one of your other cherry meads but didn’t you back sweeten the non vanilla one?
I just made this with cherries from our own cherry trees and honey from our bees.
Just put it in “conditioning” came out at 1.022 even at 6 weeks old it’s amazing.
Thanks for all the videos you guys are awesome

  • I loved the bronze shadow. Just wondering what shade would you recommend for fair skin brown eyes. Love all of your videos! Thanks! Btw,this is my husbands ipad, so Regina is asking not Rick

  • I wish you would have had this one in blonde. Again, another Drew Barrymore flash back hereput some barrettes at the top and you’d look like her. Your skin glows…no makeup needed.

  • O gosh I love the eyes! I’m not really a fan of this pot rouge color. Also in combination with the eyes, but that’s just taste I think. I find it too red against the warm brown eyes. Love xoxo

  • A small tip for Brian, because of your painful hands and knees I recommend you to look into the Wim Hof method. It’s a simple breathing exercise you do once or twice a day and it helps with many things. For example injuries heal faster and it relieves autoimmune diseases like Crone’s disease, asthma and arthritis. Many people reduced their medicine use to zero in months. And as a bonus you get high on oxygen. Cant hurt to try it out at least

  • When I do what you recommend (which I wholeheartedly agree) with wiggling the mascara at the base of the lashes, how do you keep the mascara from smudging in the lash line?

  • Lovely, would never have tried cherry pot rouge on pale skin! Hannah I noticed one of my favourite long wear eye shadow sticks called Greige has disappeared from online store in UK:-0! But I saw that it is available in limited edition double end stick. I wish and hope this lovely shade comes back.

  • Enjoyed this video. You’re very good at explaining and sharing. Chocolate cake looks so yummy. Will need to try the recipe. Camera girl look like she’s in heaven eating a bites of cake Thank for sharing.

  • Ms. Hannah, try putting masking tape on your lens then put mark on it whenever you zoom in/out! That way your frames will all be constant hihi love ya

  • Magnifique!!!❤❤❤
Any suggestion of BB makeup artist in Paris that you really love who could really advice me? Merci ma cherie

  • Beautiful! would you recommend a creamy shadow for a wedding abroad? I’m a bridesmaid in September in Cyprus and a bit nervous my eye make-up will melt in the heat xx

  • Thank you for the comment of adding flavors/fruits/elements in both primary and in conditioning (secondary.) That cleared up a lot of questions I had both with meads and with ciders.

  • I’m curious, would the vanilla have worked better if it was added in primary? Vanilla is one of my favourite flavours, was thinking of adding it to a brew and am wondering if it would meld better with the other flavours if it was there from the start?

  • I love the combo of corrector & concealer on you but how do you think it holds up to tears and hot humid weather? I do bridal makeup in south central Texas so it’s always at least 80F even in winter. I currently use MAC prolongwear concealer but am looking to change out my Mac kit products for BB

  • Hello from Pune, India,l am your big fan, and often try your recipes,I like that you always give a substitute ingredients, as some of them are hard to find in this side of the world. Shall definitely try this recipe

  • Love this make up look!! I use the golden bronze long wear cream eye shadow stick myself. Please can you do a video on how to bronze a Porcelain skin.

  • I own the pot rouge in uber beige, and although I don’t use it for cheeks, it’s so lovely as a flattering and natural everyday wearable nude on my medium tan south asian skin.

  • looks delicious -fresh cherries, can I use the bottled? -not sure where can purchase the liquor
Sarah your flourless cake recipe is perfect. I will try this cherry topping on it..I’ve added to my list of cake sale:)
Wish I could meet you and Thomas one day!

  • I have a question unrelated to this particular video: how many grams are in your packets of yeast? ‘Half a packet’ doesn’t tell me enough because I’m in Thailand which doesn’t have vibrant brewing community, but I was able to find a big pack labelled ‘alcohol yeast’.. It’s HALF A KILO, over a pound of tightly packed, granulated yeast. And on the pack it says it’s suitable for up to 1000 liters..:) So if I have about a gallon (say, 4 liters give or take), then I’m looking at about 2 grams? Which seems a tiny amount. (Probably less than a teaspoon). So if I go with about one teaspoon (for hard apple cider, from store-bought juice, with with about a cup of sugar added) then I should be okay, right?
I also have the impression that using less years results in a less vigorous fermentation (bubbles happening not as fast but continuing over a longer time) and once done it’s also pretty nice and clear. Using more yeast, all those yeastie boys just bolt out of the gates and go to town, but then when done in as little as 4-5 days, the liquid is still quite cloudy.

  • Love this look! Golden Bronze is my absolute favorite shadow stick. I always thought the chocolate cherry pot rouge would be too dark for me, but it looks beautiful-must have. Thank you for doing this video. I loved the instagram story and was hoping you would do this look.

  • I bought the Allspice Eyeshadow and Golden Bronze Eyeshadow stick which should be arriving tomorrow. Do you have any recommendations for a Eyeshadow stick and sparkly Eyeshadow for brown eyes? I’m thinking purple based would be good

  • Hannah please make tutorial of Cameron Diaz look in the movie the holiday and Kate Middleton wedding make up. Love your video so much

  • I absolutely love your videos. Would you perhaps be interested in natural makeup techniques for men? I have a husband who is interested in concealers for undereye darkness and covering up blemishes.

  • Ah ha that trick of warming up the balm to activate it is all important, not just squeeze out product and apply to my face! Thanks Hannah X Also you used the brush I have for concealer. I have most of BB’s brushes except for the concealer blender brush looks like I don’t need that one now! This make up is so lovely BTW!

  • Thought you might like to know that I was at a Bobbi counter in Australia the other day when I mentioned to the lady working there that I watched your video, and we had a very excited conversation about how much we love your videos and how fab you are Thanks for another great video xx

  • You look gorgeous! I love your videos. I have so many BB products now thanks to you! LOL.;-) I tried that smokey eye mascara and it really holds the curl and makes my lashes look great. • Sometimes less is more! I learned this in cooking as I had trouble editing myself when making dishes. I’m going to be doing a cherry mead soon with them being in season.

  • My vote hands down is CG for this years academy awards. I’m having a piece of your cake while watching today’s yankee game oops, darn I forgot.

  • I’m about to watch the, “Cherry Chocolate Melomel” video so you may answer my ABV question in that video.
    1) What ABV is this mead?
    2) How many days after opening those bottles do you have to drink it before it becomes oxidized?

  • I wish you would have had this one in blonde. Again, another Drew Barrymore flash back hereput some barrettes at the top and you’d look like her. Your skin glows…no makeup needed.

  • Lovely video Hannah! Never in a million years would I think that pot rouge color would appear so pretty on a lighter skin tone.
For a more mature women (over 50), what pot rouge would you substitute for the Chocolate Cherry for this look? It is gorgeous on you, but not sure I could pull that off.

  • I love this look. I have already purchased products to recreate it for my wedding thanks Hannah… oh, and I love your channel… discovered you through Caroline ☺️

Thanks for the tip about adding a bit of heat to the mix. Never would have thought to do something like that! You guys rock! Enjoy a great holiday weekend! ☺

  • Wonder how the vanilla would have changed if you had back sweetened it and maybe used the vanilla without the husk, just the beans….

One day I’ll try it, keeping it simple for right now

  • Hello Hannah, ❤️watching all your make up tutorials. I see that you didn’t use a concealer, is using 2 correctors better than doing a corrector and concealer?

  • Hello. Love the vid’s. After watching the show I have started making my own mead. I have made the traditional mead and the Vikings Blood. I’m now wanting to try a peanut butter cup. I have gotten the peanut butter powder from you link but trying to figure if I should use the cocoa nibs or cocoa powder. Watching this vid of cherry chocolate the nibs don’t seem to have given much of the chocolate flavor. What are your thoughts or have you tried to make something like this as yet if so how did it turn out?

  • Thanks for making the recipe beth! When i saw this i was excited! Your cake looked so good. Makes me wanna go and make one right now.

  • Hi Hannah, love to watch your video and all the helpful tips and ideas. I wear glasses and would be keen to see a video to help the eyes stand out for us glasses wearers! Thanks

  • I’d buy it all if I had your skin! Unfortunately my skin in thin and it never looks as good on thin skin. But stunning!!!!!! Love it!

  • will the pot rouge stain? Wondering how it works on oily skin. I am glad you mentioned the moisture balm will work for all skin types as well because sometimes (like if I am sick) I need a little something to give life back to my skin but won’t make me look like an oil slick. Thanks for sharing this!

  • As alwaysstunning. I love the chocolate cherry pot rouge. Never would have even considered itbut now I must. Just wish you would come to Australia and apply it for me Thanks again and have a wonderful Easter next weekend. Blessings and hugs to you and your loved ones

  • I’m thinking that your comments on the difference in color might have something to do with the fact it appears that there is slightly more liquid in one then the other. The one with more liquid hence is darker or not as faded. Follow me? make any sense?

  • Recently finished an Apple Mead, and I soaked 1.5 vanilla beans in nearly 4 gallons of that same apple mead. The beans soaked for close to a month in secondary. I bottled/ waited another month and just took a taste of one to see where the flavor is at… the vanilla honestly tastes almost medicinal… like, actually kinda gross. Is that normal? With more aging, do you guys think it will get better?

  • It took me a straight 2 hours to prepare, but so worth it.Omg that was the best cake i have ever eaten my whole life. Thanks to you Sarah, my family had a feast in nye

  • Your new hair style look so good on you!
I have a question, I mimiked your way when I apply mascara on my eyes, but every time I try to apply mascara onto the root of my eyelashes, it always stained on my eyelid…. Is there any technic for who someone like me having trouble to using mascara? Thanks!!

  • I will have to try mine agine. I did mine following this video and last I tried it was very dry but was better with a little back sweeten.

  • Do you think this mead would turn out just as good or close too if you used your typical Florida wildflower honey and a not so expensive cherry juice? If so what juice would you recommend? And if not the wildflower honey then which type? You 2s reaction to this makes a lot of us really really wanna try it!

  • We’re still eating to many sweets and baked goods, but I’m using less cream in my coffee, so it should even out…hope you like this fancy looking cake, and have a great weekend!

  • So what I’m hearing is to test vanilla additions with very small portions of a beanmaybe 1/8th to 1/4th of a bean -and letting it sit for a month and tasting before adding any more than that.

  • As I’m on a severely restricted carb diet for health reasons this amazing looking cake (I adore cherries) will only ever remain a food porn fantasy for me.
    Sux.

  • also. When is good to bottle mead, like, when it doesnt seem to be degassing anymore? I always wondered if there was like, something to look or wait for before it goes into the “storage” bottle

  • Hi Hannah! Your makeup is beautiful! I love watching your videos!
I do have a question, I have the stick foundation… but I can never wear it because it really shows how dry my skin is. It is only when I wear the stick foundation, is there something I can do differently? Thanks in advance!

  • I love the glow of Chocolate Cherry…do you really think it could work on a brunette Porcelain? Powder pink has been my go to but I want a bit more of a glow.

  • I wonder if vanilla bean should have been in for less time like dry hoping hops you get akl the flavor in 4 to 5 days hmm interesting I will try this thanks Brian and Derika

  • Great look! Loved it! QuestionsI see you used two correctors and no concealerwhy? And do you want concealer same color as foundation or lighter than? I seem to not be able to find my color as of yet. When using gel liner it makes my lashes look skimpy and can see between themyikes. Thanks as always for your videos!

  • I’d love you to do a review of Ellen Wille “EVER MONO”….. can’t find a single review, I bought it and wondered what you think of this particular one?….

  • I love this look. I have already purchased products to recreate it for my wedding thanks Hannah… oh, and I love your channel… discovered you through Caroline ☺️

  • Beautiful as always! I was wondering if you could recommend the best foundation for slightly oily, mature (fine OLD!) skin. I usually don’t wear any foundation just a bit of powder but I’m starting to have a few broken capillaries on my cheeks and would like to cover them a bit… but I’m not a foundation-y person. Thoughts?
Thanks… such a pretty look… and you are gorgeous!!! xo

  • Absolutely gorgeous look Hannah, that glow is incredible. Your videos always invigorate my love for makeup and your everlasting passion is always so refreshing to see

  • I could listen to you talk for days!! Sounds so proper and “British”. Makes my American accent sound so dull! Lol. Your makeup is always stunning! And always educational. Thanks!

  • You guys are the “go-to” couple in the cooking department! Super duper recipes served up with a huge dollop of humor! What’s not to like?

Thanks for the tip about adding a bit of heat to the mix. Never would have thought to do something like that! You guys rock! Enjoy a great holiday weekend! ☺

  • You know, I was just thinking on these the past couple it weeks. I was at the store, the uppity one I don’t typically go to, and saw organic tart cherry juice there. I thought, hmmm, that chocolate cherry vanilla mead sounds like a good idea to me. Not sure if I’d go with the best in the world for my first go.

  • Hi Hannah! Wonderful tutorial, I do love all of them and i always enjoy watching new one!
Could you please help me to match some pot rouge with my nourishing lip color in blush or almost pink (i truly adore them!)? i have fair skin with lots of freckles:)
    Thanks a lot!

  • Beautiful! would you recommend a creamy shadow for a wedding abroad? I’m a bridesmaid in September in Cyprus and a bit nervous my eye make-up will melt in the heat xx

  • Hi i tried this. Just the cherry topping needs only a drop of lemon as fresh cherries can be sour… and will appreciate if u tell the cup size.

  • Beautiful! Color love her!! She is soo pretty, and Heather you can rock her with no problem at all!! Thank you for a wonderful review!! Love xoxoxo

  • Yes I am not the only one who noticed her absence. We missed you Sarah Carey! That hair color is truly gorgeous on you as usual! Oh and the cake mmmm looks good enough to eat! lol

  • Your new hair style look so good on you!
I have a question, I mimiked your way when I apply mascara on my eyes, but every time I try to apply mascara onto the root of my eyelashes, it always stained on my eyelid…. Is there any technic for who someone like me having trouble to using mascara? Thanks!!

  • great video hannah!! can you advise on brow colour please, im blonde and using the blonde brow pencil but find it a bit red.thanks xx

  • Looks incredible!! Never tried adding chilli powder in cakes but I ll try your recipe. Just wondering if you used fresh cherries and whether you pit them first? The cherry topping does make the cake look really fancy. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

  • This cake looks very tasty!! Awesome recipe, Chef! Great to see you and Camera Girl making great professional quality stuff!! This type of cake is something I have only seen in bakeries, so I would definitely try making it someday!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us..Take care and stay safe

  • Enjoyed this video. You’re very good at explaining and sharing. Chocolate cake looks so yummy. Will need to try the recipe. Camera girl look like she’s in heaven eating a bites of cake Thank for sharing.

  • I’m really surprised on this too. I usually expect vanilla to add a smoothness to a brew, guess here is smoothed out the edges that made the other one stand out. Which now that I think about it kind of makes sense. Most of what I have read also said vanilla mellows a ton with time, so I’m a bit stumped here. That’s the fun of home brewing though, experimentation.

  • What you were saying about the ethanol I think is a bit misleading. Ethanol is ethanol is ethanol no matter where it comes from, but other things like esters, acids, sugars, etc. mixed in with it will change its perception. They might come from the yeast or might already be in the fruit or whatever else, but the ethanol will be the same.

  • I own the pot rouge in uber beige, and although I don’t use it for cheeks, it’s so lovely as a flattering and natural everyday wearable nude on my medium tan south asian skin.

  • will the pot rouge stain? Wondering how it works on oily skin. I am glad you mentioned the moisture balm will work for all skin types as well because sometimes (like if I am sick) I need a little something to give life back to my skin but won’t make me look like an oil slick. Thanks for sharing this!

  • Hi Hannah! I love love love this look, you are so so beautiful. I would never have considered the Chocolate Cherry pot rouge before but I’m definitely going to add it to my collection now, especially as we are getting cooler and heading into autumn/winter in Australia.

  • Amazing! This is why YOU are the MASTER! As someone with porcelain skin and freckles I wouldn’t have dared given that pot rouge a second glance! Love love love that eye look! All the best to you Hannah!

  • It tastes amazing. Too bad i forgot to take the seeds out. Btw i added some coconut flakes and sunflower oil cuz i did not have coconut oil.

  • love the look! I’be been using the milk chocolate pot rouge for since warmth, the cheek illuminating palette with highlighter means I now get bronze + highlight in one. Second the request to cone to Australia:)

  • Absolutely gorgeous look Hannah, that glow is incredible. Your videos always invigorate my love for makeup and your everlasting passion is always so refreshing to see

Thoughts?
Thanks… such a pretty look… and you are gorgeous!!! xo

  • Love you guys…love your videos…2 things…maybe I missed it but I didn’t catch a review on the chocolate or the cherry aroma or flavor in the video, how were both? I’m currently more interested in the chocolate aspect (cherry is coming) but can’t find earlier videos in the chocolate/cherry series, how did you add the chocolate? I tried to find an old video but a search for “chocolate’ didn’t help. Thanks!

  • I bought the Allspice Eyeshadow and Golden Bronze Eyeshadow stick which should be arriving tomorrow. Do you have any recommendations for a Eyeshadow stick and sparkly Eyeshadow for brown eyes? I’m thinking purple based would be good

  • The easier the better, huh? as long as it it tastes good!! I do have one question, do you think you could use dried cherries? Mom has a 2 pound bag of cherries that she got around the holidays. She has everything else for this!!

  • Ms. Hannah, try putting masking tape on your lens then put mark on it whenever you zoom in/out! That way your frames will all be constant hihi love ya

  • Dearest Hannah so glad to see your smiling face. The top you have on compliments your skin and makeup. It may be a sweatshirt or nice top but the peachy color looks beautiful with your skin & makeup.

  • Hi Hannah! I LOVE your videos….so super helpful! I just bought the stick foundation in Beige and I have oily skin. I prepped with a light moisturizer and skin smoothing pore perfector. When I use the flat brush to apply, I feel that I am pulling and wiping the foundation off? Should I go back to the round foundation brush? I have hyperpigmentation on my side cheeks and like to add extra to that area. Thanks!!

  • Love this look! Golden Bronze is my absolute favorite shadow stick. I always thought the chocolate cherry pot rouge would be too dark for me, but it looks beautiful-must have. Thank you for doing this video. I loved the instagram story and was hoping you would do this look.

  • I’d love you to do a review of Ellen Wille “EVER MONO”….. can’t find a single review, I bought it and wondered what you think of this particular one?….

  • Hi Hannah! Your makeup is beautiful! I love watching your videos!
I do have a question, I have the stick foundation… but I can never wear it because it really shows how dry my skin is. It is only when I wear the stick foundation, is there something I can do differently? Thanks in advance!

  • Dear chef Buck and beautiful camera girl,

I tried it and it came out pretty awesome!! Mostly my cakes are pretty sad but it was my sister’s bday so I tght I will be positive and give it a try.. everyone loved it and I did too
    Thanks for this amazing recipe!!

  • As alwaysstunning. I love the chocolate cherry pot rouge. Never would have even considered itbut now I must. Just wish you would come to Australia and apply it for me Thanks again and have a wonderful Easter next weekend. Blessings and hugs to you and your loved ones

  • here’s a dumb question but does sarah have a youtube channel of her own?where i can watch just her! i LOVE her personality…..thanks….!

  • Beautiful look! I love your energy and positive charisma. Oh and I believe it took me three seconds to order a light peach corrector…ooopps. Thanks for the inspo!

  • Love this make up look!! I use the golden bronze long wear cream eye shadow stick myself. Please can you do a video on how to bronze a Porcelain skin.

  • Beautiful as always ❤️ I love how you really love what you do and are able to share it with all of your online followers! Love the makeup tips you give too.

  • Beautiful look! I love your energy and positive charisma. Oh and I believe it took me three seconds to order a light peach corrector…ooopps. Thanks for the inspo!

  • I recently watched one of yalls older videos (apple cider mead) and it’s crazy how much different and similar y’all are in videos. Ever go back to old videos and “revamp” your old ones?

  • I think this might have been the wrong week to quit eating sugar. This not only looks amazing, but really easy to make. Perfect for Memorial Day!

  • I’m wondering if the caramel flavour comes from the chocolate? I have a cocoa mead that I didn’t add vanilla to and it has a pronounced caramel to it.

  • My vote hands down is CG for this years academy awards. I’m having a piece of your cake while watching today’s yankee game oops, darn I forgot.

  • Hannah please make tutorial of Cameron Diaz look in the movie the holiday and Kate Middleton wedding make up. Love your video so much

  • This cake looks very tasty!! Awesome recipe, Chef! Great to see you and Camera Girl making great professional quality stuff!! • Looks awesome. Darn, I was hoping you were gonna taste it. I love when you correct (edit) yourself, LOL…Don’t get me wrong…whipped cream is great, but I always see cakes like this with the ole predictable whipped cream topping. Is it a “crime” to use like a buttercream or similar type of icing/frosting in this application? Now a chocolate cake with cherries AND with a rich decadent frosting would really be over the top in my opinion!!

  • Hi Hannah! What interesting colours you’ve used I would never have thought to try the golden bronze long Wear eye shadow or the cherry chocolate pot rouge but will give them a go now. Thanks for another great video:) xx

  • Hello Hannah, ❤️watching all your make up tutorials. I see that you didn’t use a concealer, is using 2 correctors better than doing a corrector and concealer?

  • When I do what you recommend (which I wholeheartedly agree) with wiggling the mascara at the base of the lashes, how do you keep the mascara from smudging in the lash line?

  • I’ve tried a lot of your recipes and they always come out great with the right balance of flavours. I love your recipes please keep them coming. Will definitely try this one.
