Many people question the accuracy of lie detector tests. This feature explores the many criticisms of polygraph testing, Then it’s testing time. During the actual test, the machine components produce tracings on a “chart” that an examiner can evaluate. or drugs can be used to beat the test. Examples of physical tactics would be altering. Polygraph tests are now saved for specified instances — say, if someone fails to report a relationship with a foreign power.

Advocates of lie-detector tests foresee the day when technological advances will improve accuracy to the point where test results could be admitted as evidence. “If the examiner is well-trained, if the test is properly carried out, and if there’s proper quality controls, the accuracy is estimated between 80%-90%,” he says, adding that this is higher than. 18 December, 2018. A lie detector test measures physical and emotional responses to approximately 10 predetermined questions, according to the Global Polygraph Network. Drugs may affect the test but usually with an inconclusive result.

Generally, drugs that affect the nervous system may alter the test’s measured responses. What a polygraph test is good at detecting. While a polygraph test is NOT very accurate at lie detection, it is very good at detecting physiological state. Since a polygraph machine records bodily signals like sweating, blood pressure, and breathing activity, it offers helpful clues about whether a person is anxious or calm while answering. In most cases, the easiest way through a lie detector test is to approach it honestly.

Drugs That Affect Tests. Drugs and medical conditions may affect a polygraph test, often leading to an inconclusive result. For this reason, drug tests and a screening questionnaire are commonly given before a lie detector test.

Lie detector tests and polygraph tests are used to find out the truth if your partner has cheated on you, if a family member is stealing or lying to you about drugs, abuse, addictions or a variety of other issues. polygraph test near me is confidential, professional and accurate. Infidelity Test. Infidelity Polygraph Tests are used extensively for relationship issues. This is one area of testing where experience makes a big difference. The wording of questions for a relationship lie detector test is critical to a successful exam, since many words can be interpreted differently by different people.

If you are taking about bb competitions then it depends on the federation. Npc/ifbb no test (obviously) ocb/inbf they test but by using lie detection, and there are several other federations. just depends what federation you go with really Sent from my SGH-T989 using EliteFitness. A urine drug screen, or urine drug test, can detect the presence of drugs in a person’s system.

Urine screens are the most common method of drug testing. They are.

The tests are conducted on urine samples and steroid use can be detected even if active steroid use had been discontinued at some time prior to testing.

This is likely a result of the fact that drug testing as a method of estimating the level of performance-enhancing drug use is seriously flawed in that testing can often be circumvented by the user, increasing the probability of a false negative.

  • It’s like we living in a movie or sum, wtf is people getting punished for exposing the truth that helps people live better lives. I can’t

  • Well him teaching you how to beat it is a fail right there. Why would you need to beat it if it was not accurate or credible? You wouldn’t, because it would mean nothing to beat it. He is a fucken moron.

  • Appreciate Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you researched Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (search on google)? It is a smashing exclusive product for learning how to attract the right man and avoid cheaters minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate finally got excellent results with it.

  • There’s a verse in the Bible that says you can pick fruit from your neighbor tree or bush if you use your hands, but not a basket.

  • Back in my youth I applied for many security guard positions that required passing a lie detector. I took about 8 and lied on all of them and was offered employment on 5.

  • I just took a polygraph test, this week with a N95 mask on and was truthful as possible. I can’t say everyone will get stupid questions but I sure did. Anyways the point is I took the exam and every time they would ask me a stupid question I would breath harder to get some air especially with that arm cuff and tube and waist ties they put around you. In my mind in the stupid questions I would breath and catch my breath so on the smart questions it could take an accurate results but if on that test it comes out as a lie I would be really pissed off cause like I said I was truthful as possible. So I guess I’ll let you know when I get my results.

  • Well him teaching you how to beat it is a fail right there. Why would you need to beat it if it was not accurate or credible? You wouldn’t, because it would mean nothing to beat it. He is a fucken moron.

  • I was a professional polygraph examiner for decades. This video is based on a complete misunderstanding of the polygraph. In short, the polygraph operates because of the body’s autonomic system or the fight or flight response.

It is the automatic system we use to defend ourselves If you perceive danger you heart speeds up, you respiration increases all in an effort for your body to protect itself. In this test her galvanic skin response was a perfect illustration of what a lie looks like.

Trying to respond in a particular way will almost always distort the examination to the point of obvious manipulation. At this point, I would shut the instrument down and go into the interrogation.

  • They don’t work. Unless the tester tells to the subject that the machine shows you lied there, didn’t you? and the subject says yeah I did.

  • Dontknowabout this but hey weseeiknihavenotingtohideorgetyour sit down ready the sheriff in Franklin county ikn I didn’t I volunteer hey get few sitdownandgettothebottomnofthemess too along with it would not be meinopenmouthproblems nonotme at all getitfiredup

  • I took 6 polygraph exams for previous jobs and I passed them ALL. But when I applied for a position with DOJ, The examiner failed me for no reason. I think she failed me because I was/ am law-abiding, tax payer Foreign born U.S CITIZEN, with clean background. And I don’t know anyone at the agency to help me take the exam again. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I meet all the basic requirements and I’m an honest person with strong integrity.. the polygraph machine in itself is a faulty device, the examiners are the ones who usually fail honest & innocent people, especially job applicants.

  • As a legal consultant we have to stick to the petition and all answers will be as in the petition. The machine might not as body language at the time of interrogation ion and environment and the counsel have a role to play.

  • Hello everyone! If you require the service of a professional hacker to help track your partner’s cell phone remotely, contact cyberhackanswers @ gmail. com, he was excellent in helping me hack my wife’s phone without physical contact. you can also reach him on WhatsApp on +1 626-578-5544, tell him James referred you he would give you a discount.

  • I would much rather support and believe the results of the DNA test that has a probability of success of at least 97 or 98% confidence level than a hunk of junk based on pseudoscience.

  • Great Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (search on google)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to attract the right man and avoid cheaters minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical success with it.

  • I have been a certified examiner for 15 years. His seven years are not impressive. He is lying when he says it’s only used to trick someone into a confession. Reliability and validation studies place tri_zone comparison technique with a single issue at 97%. You simply cannot turn off emotions between questions. It’s half art and half science. The skill of the examiner to attain psychological set is what sets us apart from this clown. It’s used by every western civilized nation, every federal and state agency and is used every day behind scenes in criminal matters. As you see, he only complains about being charged with a federal crime… no details. I was once approached by an outlaw biker gang to polygraph it’s members to weed out undercover cops. Had I agreed to do this I would have been prosecuted under a number of statutes and had my licensing taken away. There is a lot to the skill of polygraph examinations. I had to go to an APA approved basic training school, complete advanced training, a five year internship and take continued education courses each year. Anyone relying on this guys advice would never get by a certified examiner…including himself.

  • The problem was that he didn’t just protest the usage but actually taught people how to lie to the authorities without any filtration. Regardless if you were a rapist pedophile or a murderer, he taught you how to do it. The polygraph is also a tool for intimidation, scaring guilty people into admitting to their own wrongs. If you teach them how to fool it they will no longer be afraid of it.
    * It definitely shouldn’t be admitted as evidence *, both for and against. But it is a valuable commodity for getting other more objective results like stash locations and weapons.

  • Lil xan dont act like we don’t know your hiding in the comments I swear this is the 5th time ive caught a celebrity posing as someone else

  • Good job on the lighting! You can definitely see the improvement by comparing his skin tones to the ones in the video in the annotation at 4:57

  • I absolutely HATE when people talk like these things are infallible. They’re wrong 30% of the time yet cops want to act like it proves everything. That is a HUGE margin of error FUCK THAT

  • I’ve been through this. Passing a Lie detector can be a little easy. What makes it harder is when you got cops staring at your eyes. Tips is this a day or HOURS before you get in the “Hot Seat” is take a deep breath, and lower your heart beat and pressure. And when your in the seat just try to be and keep things normal and just stay calm and focus on something. Another tips is what ever question they ask you you can trick yourself (work best if you get have time to prepare your mind) if you don’t want to answer. You can be like If you go to the store and stole a candy bar, in your mind i’ll make myself BELIEVE someone bought it and gave it to me.

  • answering no to every control question or even remaining calm, is not a way to pass. Depending on the test’s use. An inconclusive, or worse, a no opinion test grade will keep you from employment.

  • The polygraph is a SCAM industry. Please educate yourself and watch the Diane Sawyer 60 Minutes episode on the polygraph industry, filmed around 1986. Her undercover investigative team exposes three different independent polygraph examiner‘s being completely wrong and branding truthful subjects as deceptive. There’s also anti-polygraph crusader Doug Williams Polygraph discussing and sharing information on the flawed devices for being nothing but carnival tricks. I take my time to post my two cents on the subject from time to time, because I tried to use a polygraph test to prove to my former wife (was my wife at time, this helped to put the final nails in my coffin) that I was being faithful and was told by my polygraph examiner out of Porterville California that I “failed miserably” and was “deceptive”. It was my idea to hire the scam artist, and I wasn’t as educated on the subject at the time. My first big educational awareness on the polygraph was of course in self discovery after hearing his results and being told I failed when I knew I was being 100% truthful. It is a miserable gadget, branding truthful people as deceptive and passing often experienced criminals as truthful. They are only good for entertainment or scaring a confession out of a naive subject.

  • If I’m asked a question about a subject where I am being accused of a crime I’m going to be nervous as soon as the topic is braught up wether I am guilty or not

  • Bright Side: During the test, think about the most embarrassing day of your life.
Also Bright Side: Think about pleasant things during the test.

  • It’s not admissible in court and has so many flaws.
Why is it still being used?
It keeps the examiners employed so they won’t have to get a real job.

  • Excellent Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (just google it)? It is an awesome exclusive product for learning how to attract the right man and avoid cheaters minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got great results with it.

  • I’ve taken polygraphs lied on every one of them except the one I failed and realized something. It’s all a bunch of b.s. take the guys work and word on that.

  • I get super nervous and anxiety if a person thinks I’m lieing or if even I just think a person thinks I’m lieing so when I’m being question or just explaining myself I get obviously noticeably nervous and uncomfortable so my blood pressure goes up making me flushed or hot feeling i studder or stammer my words and talk realy fast..but its because i want to explain myself and clear any suspicion right away i already have trouble with eye contact in any situation the moment I go for it and look somone in the eyes I look away so fast because it makes me uncomfortable so that is happening..and since the person already thinks I’m lieing or if I already think the person is not going to beleave me my confidence is just non existent…

  • There has to be a way to perfect this technology. To always tell that someone is lying no matter what. I mean, something in the brain must change when someone lies as opposed to telling the truth. Can you imagine if we had a fool proof one. So many of our politicians, bankers, actors and musicians would be in jail or be tried for treason perhaps.

  • Appreciate Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (just google it)? • There are 4 lie director test. Coronaverse and Voice stress test and Standard polygraph teast and Body language test. NO ONE CAN PASS MORE THAN 1 IF HE IS A LYING.

  • The mythbusters in the US once put three of their guys into the polygraph test. It only helped to correctly discriminate 2 out of the 3 guys.

  • His 30 years of experience in polygraph test is nothing. Polygraph examiners have to lie to public/applicants so they could have Job. There’s no such a thing as a lie detector. According to David, a polygrapher. An honest person doesn’t sweat at all ..

  • TAKE MELATONON? NOT SURE OF SPELLING BUT A RELAXERHELPS WITH SLEEP OR STRESSFUL DAYS AND YEP A LIE DETECTOR AS WELL I AM TOLD ON THE STREET

  • The Polygraph tests your stress levels to see whether you are lying.
But in that case, as long as you are totally calm during be testing you should be all good. If you aren’t stressed out after murdering those 25 orphans then the Polygraph shouldn’t really detect anything that would indicate that you were lying.
If the murderer was an undiagnosed psychopath then they might not really feel regret over doing it, or once it’s done. And in the case of people who’s mental states prevent them from fully interpreting emotions then they might just not be able to comprehend the trouble that they are in.
There have been a number of cases where the criminals took a lie detector test and passed as “innocent” just because they were calm, and didn’t panic.
    Cases such as:
Gary Ridgeway, the Green River Killer.
    Soviet Spy Aldrich Aims.
    Serial Killer Charles Kullen.
All they did was stay super chill and passed with flying colours.

So yeah, if you end up in prison or on a show that involves the Polygraph, just remain super chill and you should be totally fine.

  • okay so I’m confused, I understand one should be calm on the relevant questions but why think of jumping off a bridge on a controlled questions? I thought the goal was to stay calm throughout the whole test

  • I can tell you first hand that polygraphs are bullshit. Maybe I’m the only one out there, but I doubt it. But hey, why believe some nobody on youtube…

  • She’s a moron she did exactly what would make you fail she kept focusing on how she was going to tell the Lie and control her breathing which is exactly what they pick up on

  • If someone ever lied & defeated the detector test. Then they will have to always remain quiet about the polygraph being incorrect because otherwise they will dig themselves their own grave.

  • In the polygraph I took (with the government, so it’s a legit one), the control questions weren’t super incriminating questions. Rather, they were basic-beyond-belief stuff, like “is today Thursday?” yes. “is today Friday?” no. Etc. And my practitioner said that after administering thousands of these tests, she was very confident that for every incriminating signal picked up by the test, there is some real reason for it (few false positives), and they are learning more about catching the ways in which people cheat the system (fewer false negatives).

  • Here is where the Test actually makes its bones three people are accused in some type of crime or three people are tested they’re all tested with the same questions the person who ends up being the least truthful the police can now focus on the person and continue to go forward the investigation no one is going to go to jail over a poly graph

  • I wish they would ask in a polygraph ” Are you Racist?” Ask with the rest of the questions and you will have 80% of applicants denied. Well unless you are recommended by someone who has pull.

  • Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (do a google search)? • Passing the polygraph is easy if you believe what you’re saying. The travesty of the polygraph is that innocent people are unfairly judged as liars. There are many reasons for someone to elicit reactions that mimic a lie. Every year, reputations, careers and lives are shattered by this fraud. Federal regulations were enacted to ensure that no unfavorable actions are taken based solely on the results of the polygraph. Yet they still do it. Also, the EPPA of 1988 makes it illegal. Why is this cheap parlor trick still in use? It’s politics. That, and people are stupid and gullible. It’s a national disgrace.

    #stoppolygraphabuse

  • Theres a lot of people who think they can test the Polly graph…its dumb to think that…fact is that there not 100% BUT often if someone is very truthful or untruthful there is a very large margin for what is almost certain or not….when its just barely a lie or barely not that scans as inconclusive….

  • I would much rather support and believe the results of the DNA test that has a probability of success of at least 97 or 98% confidence level than a hunk of junk based on pseudoscience.

  • Scam industry the polygraph. Please watch a short, 11 minute episode from ‘60 Minutes with Diane Sawyer’ from about 1986. Her investigative team goes undercover and exposes the complete failures of the polygraph test using three different and independent examiners getting it wrong and also labeling honest peoples answers to the “relevant” questions as “deceptive” on four different subjects. There’s also documentation by renowned expert Doug Williams on the polygraph being useless as a real tool for honest or deceptive results, but useful in scaring a confession out of someone who believes there is credibility to the devices. A great interrogation tool for a guilty conscience, but not any correlation to actual truth or deception. I know from my own experience trying to prove myself to a loved one, when the “test examiner” said that I had “failed miserably”. It was my idea, not hers, to put a trust issue behind us and it was a huge mistake. I thought at the time, there might be some credibility to these machines and wanted to save a relationship. Well, when you know you were honest and “failed miserably”, then you know from your own experience what a piece of garbage these devices are. I am using some energy from time to time and writing my opinions on any polygraph forums I can, in hopes of crushing this evil, money making industry. The money making isn’t evil, the mislabeling of people who are being honest to the “relevant questions” as “deceptive” is. This industry causes people to lose relationships, job opportunities or careers and sometimes helps as a component to aiding in convictions on innocent people.

  • the thing is, lie detectors are faulty. thing is, the reason why the police still use it is because it can be used to make criminals confess that they made a crime. if the results are accurate and the criminal knows it, they might confess.

  • it pretty obvious that you are totally unprepared to beat it just by “breathing” you have to spike your vitals on the control question. also take a pill to reduce your blow pressure and heart rate. you just sat there with and made us waste our time…

  • It’s just a bit disturbing that shows such as Jeremy Kyle uses this as a concrete basis whether the person is lying or not even though it’s not a hundred percent accurate. Imagine destroying relationship just because the person being examined was too nervous during the test.

  • That first lie was not scored. That is a symptomatic question. A good examiner can’t be beat. You either get caught lying or get caught using countermeasures. period. It slays me how people throw shade at stuff they don’t understand. Polygraphs are a huge part of the innocence project to help get wrongly convicted people out of prison.

  • I’m nervous / anxious just talking to anyone I’m not completely familiar with. Even then, I’m still socially anxious. I would fail immediately. Fuck the polygraph ha

  • I was hoping to hear something approaching scientific regarding use of the polygraph, not a simplistic “crime”reproduction involving a tack. Lame lame lame!

  • So to beat a lie detector you just have to chill.
Also do other countries than the US use polygraphs on TV and irl? Because here in Germany, we aren’t, and I know the US does.

  • Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (google it)? • My wife just failed a lie detector and still swears to me she was telling the truth, I’ve looked up forums and there is a short… very short list of people that fail Polygraphs and say they were telling the truth but failed. I’m in such a tuff spot now, we’re about to move out to new places, do I believe her wack story, she told me she’s a virgin and 6.5 years later I find out she went to the hotel with her ex 1 time but apparently he couldnt get it up, but lie detector says she was lying. Why would she agree to go to do the test when I double and triple checked that it was ok to go and $660

  • HOW DOESIT PROOVE YOU LIR YOU DINT COMON THOSE PEOPLE ARE WORKING FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO SET YOU UP EVIDENCE IS THE BEST WEN YOU SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES

  • By putting him in prison they are just proving his point on how garbage those tests are. They are doing that cuz his methods DO work and he is EXPOSING the practice. I heard they weren’t reliable but when he said the flipping a coin example i didnt know that bad. 50/50.

  • Polygraph is a SCAM industry. They only use it to scare confessions out of suspects who believe they actually work. In other words, if you believe in polygraphs, chances are you’ll be scared and confess to what they’re trying to shake out of you. I took a polygraph once to settle a trust issue and was told I “failed miserably” even though I was being 100% truthful and should’ve passed with flying colors. The U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled, that the polygraph is as reliable as the “toss of the coin”. Had I known how flawed the polygraph industry is, and their operators being narcissistic POS, I never would’ve subjected myself to it. It was my idea to hire a polygraph examiner, not the other party. Since then, I have learned about the Supreme Court’s decision on banning their use to being admissible in courts of law, due to their extremely poor results. Also, I learned of these two resources available on YouTube here, one is Doug Williams Polygraph (a former Oklahoma Detective/polygraph examiner and now a crusader against their use), and the other is a 60 Minutes television episode taped around 1986. The 60 Minuets episode has Diane Sawyer and her undercover investigative team exposing the polygraph industry for being complete frauds. The episode is called “Truth or Consequences”.

  • Appreciate Video! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard the talk about Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (do a google search)? It is an awesome one off product for learning how to attract the right man and avoid cheaters minus the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cousin got great results with it.

  • The inventor of the polygraph was John Augustus Larson, who disagrees with the way it has been used and even says law enforcement has abused it. It has even been used by scientist to hook up to plants and conclude that plants have feelings.

  • Good job on the lighting! You can definitely see the improvement by comparing his skin tones to the ones in the video in the annotation at 4:57

  • All my friends say I have no reactions to anything, so I’m fine.

I’m also interested in those tests and would be somewhat interesting to take one.

  • 100% total bullshit lol. The “Real Story” is the corrupt government is scared to death of the people finding out about 9/11 and hanging them for Treason. The Military Coup will use the 85%-93% correct lie detector test to determine loyalty within the lower ranks. If 100 test are given to the same person it climbs to 99% correct if test is done correctly. If they have your family in custody & threaten to harm them with a wrong answer you will not fool the test. When this fake actor said the government is trying to sue him or imprison him a person with an I.Q. above 33 could figure out he’s lying because who stops the government lol……ridiculous

  • the thing is, lie detectors are faulty. thing is, the reason why the police still use it is because it can be used to make criminals confess that they made a crime. if the results are accurate and the criminal knows it, they might confess.

  • By the way you can’t do 789 questions you can only do two at the most three questions to get accurate results this video is complete bullshit

  • And of course the people who give lie detector tests are going to try to convince you by interjecting suggestion is what it is suggestion did the light detector can’t be beaten a lot of this is based on suggestion and priming you before the actual test happens they get inside your head before anything happens it’s typical detective work I was questioned by a detective one time where they actually lied and said that the lie detector is admissible in court to get you off of balance

  • If they don’t work how are these tv shows determining who’s lying & who’s telling the truth… I’m clearly not putting all my faith into a lie detector test… But are producers flipping coins backstage to figure out whose lives they’re going to ruin?!

  • it doesn’t work it simply detects heartbeats telling the truth without being calm is simply lying while lying while be calm is simply telling the truth

  • Appreciate Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. • An object in motion… bla bla blah

Equal and opposite force… blah blah blah

Not quoting you just looking at your intro.. now watching your video.. that may be the point.. im a aswhole..

  • Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (google it)? It is a great exclusive product for learning how to attract the right man and avoid cheaters minus the hard work. • This sounds like a medication add, ask your doctor if this is right for you, then all the effects at the end so it helps you with this but you could expires 20 different effects. And don’t take it if you’re any of these 10 things.

  • The simple way is a person is actually lying about something just be calm take a deep breath an focus on something else I guarantee the lie detector won’t work I mean is unreliable

  • I think its only a good thing these things aren’t used in UK courts. The british won’t have anyhting to do with them. The machine causes problems of misattribution, who knows whether stress responses are evidence of deception. The second problem is the reliability of inducing type 1 and type 11 errors. People are capable of beating them so the upshot is the machine may fail to identify the lie that someone was telling. Then it might incorrectly identify a truth as lie and of course that would be an injustice. They are not reliable and i think its only a good thing the british have recognised this

  • Get a small earpiece that produces a noise. When the guy asks a question press somthing so that you cannot hear the question and say either yes or no.

  • Both tests in controlled environments as well as evaluation of “real” uses of Polygraphs have shown that they can not tell if a person is telling the truth or lying! There is a very good reason polygraph examinations aren’t counted as valid/usable evidence in court cases in most civilized countries. Polygraph operators are not analyzing, they are interpreting, trying to find patterns, and drawing ad-hoc conclusions from them. Polygraphs are psychological tools to trick or bully people into confessing, even if they haven’t done it. And every time somebody calls those things “lie detectors” they play right into the hands of the Polygraph operators. They demonstrably do not work. They are bullshit.

  • What about if your skaire or nervouse because your skaire the machine is gonna set you up you gonna fail thsts why all the people most likely fail duh then your fuckt wen you know nothing you GETHINGblame for happened

  • dont believe this video, i lied a lot on several tests, and passed it you just have to believe that this machine doesnt detect anything.

  • Polygraph test… Great, simply clench your butt and boom! False positive!

It’d be much more effective to have the subject in an MRI machine and check whether the creative centres of the brain are active (creating a story or lie).

  • By the way you can’t do 789 questions you can only do two at the most three questions to get accurate results this video is complete bullshit

  • I would much rather support and believe the results of the DNA test that has a probability of success of at least 97 or 98% confidence level than a hunk of junk based on pseudoscience.

  • Regardless of whether they work or not, many places do employ them and you may need to pass one.

That being said, probably 98% of you have never taken a polygraph test.

  • So to beat a lie detector you just have to chill.
Also do other countries than the US use polygraphs on TV and irl? Because here in Germany, we aren’t, and I know the US does.

  • The Lie Detective is a character-driven documentary series that follows the work of independent Polygraph Examiner and self-professed truth seeker, Ken Donaldson, as he helps people from all walks of life in their quest for truth, resolution, and freedom from deception. Ken’s clients must then face difficult questions and find answers that can change their lives for better or worse. Says Ken of his work, “I always think somebody is going to try and cheat, and if the’re going to try, I’m going to catch them.”

Episode 1: Body Builders Never Cheat?

Banned substances are a big problem in the world of body building. Ken is hired by Matthew Park of International Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness, Canada, whose premier competition is fast approaching. Ken must polygraph all athletes to ensure their chiseled physiques were achieved without drugs. The pressure is on Ken to keep the competition fair for everyone.

  • You cannot beat a good examiner, especially with a physical countermeasure. Even a baby examiner can see those in the charts. Those were clean charts by the way!

  • O.K., lets say you were suspected of murdering someone. You are innocent. Wouldn’t your response to questions not related to the allegation be significantly diferent than a response to s question upon which your entire future depends on?

  • “We asked if you cheated more than 50 times, you said NO the lie detector test determined THAT was a lie, you’re getting your d*ck sucked as I read this” My n*gga Maury

  • Besides putting someone in jail cause the pigs think we did it, is reason enough for me to put a gun and blow there head off case closed.

  • If I’m asked a question about a subject where I am being accused of a crime I’m going to be nervous as soon as the topic is braught up wether I am guilty or not

  • i love his comedy. I respect his honest answers. Must be noted that people who can make other people laugh are the ones who carries most pain.

  • He doesn’t really prove it in this video, I’m not convinced by this, I was convinced by many other better examples proving you can pass a test.

  • If I was taking a lie detector test, I’d be nervous because I’m nervous around anyone, I’d be nervous about taking the test at all, and if something happened to me, like if a family member was killed, I saw it, and they asked if I did it, I’d be afraid they’d think I did, and I would hate to have to think about what happened.
If they asked if I was molested or raped, having to relive it would make me nervous. I’m not so sure we should believe them at all.

  • You have to have to score on a lie detector is a +6 or higher in order to pass the polygraph exam. +6 or higher on a polygraph exam represents known as no extreme deception indicated means Subject has told the truth. The other counterpart of a polygraph exam is the lowest score of a -6 or lower on a polygraph exam represents known as heavy amounts of extreme deception indicated means Subject did not tell the truth.

  • You cannot beat a good examiner, especially with a physical countermeasure. Even a baby examiner can see those in the charts. Those were clean charts by the way!

  • HOW DOESIT PROOVE YOU LIR YOU DINT COMON THOSE PEOPLE ARE WORKING FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO SET YOU UP EVIDENCE IS THE BEST WEN YOU SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES

  • There is one more technique which works perfectly. Hold your anus tight during basic questions and release it when you are asked actual questions

  • Appreciate Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion.

  • It’s completely irrelevant if this man went to jail for teaching people how to beat them. People are still put away on false confessions done by shoddy police work.

  • Most of these tests are supposed to make people tell the truth by scaring them,so in most cases just stay calm and you will be fine

  • I recently applied for one of DOJ components. I took the polygraph test twice. The first time was inconclusive. They called me to retake it. The 2nd time they failed me. I followed all the instructions and answered all the questions truthfully and honestly.. I also took the polygraph tests 5 times in the past, and I passed them all without any issues… I don’t smoke I don’t drink and I have clean background. I haven’t done anything wrong to cause any deception. I believe they failed me just because I’m foreign Born law abiding US citizen. I really wanted to work and be proud of working with a great agency… If a person has a criminal record, he or she can’t even get a job as UBER driver, let alone applying/ working for Law enforcement agencies…I was extremely disappointed by their Poor decision.

  • Does it really affect you that much lying? Seems I don’t ever get excited or any thing like fast breathing sweaty palms etc when telling fibs

  • Why can’t I see a big red button all I see is a greyed-out button that says subscribed and I see a bell that looks like it’s raining

  • It’s just a bit disturbing that shows such as Jeremy Kyle uses this as a concrete basis whether the person is lying or not even though it’s not a hundred percent accurate. Imagine destroying relationship just because the person being examined was too nervous during the test.

  • Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (do a google search)? • So how would it work for someone like me who has anxiety attacks? And, how would it work on a pathological liar who believes their own lies?

  • By putting him in prison they are just proving his point on how garbage those tests are. They are doing that cuz his methods DO work and he is EXPOSING the practice. I heard they weren’t reliable but when he said the flipping a coin example i didnt know that bad. 50/50.

  • Pretty much every spy has passed polygraph tests. Including Snowden. I’ve taken them three times at the NSA. They assume any “reaction” is an indication of “deception”. They goal then, is to get you to say something they can distort and twist and link the reaction. It’s hogwash. Worse yet, a threat to national security. Spies pass, innocent applicants, employees fail and lose their job and career. Other than that……

  • His 30 years of experience in polygraph test is nothing. Polygraph examiners have to lie to public/applicants so they could have Job. There’s no such a thing as a lie detector. According to David, a polygrapher. An honest person doesn’t sweat at all ..

  • This piece of crap is actually specifically dangerous to the innocent. Experienced criminals who are used to police interrogations and are thus able to keep their emotions in check can easily defeat it, while generally law-abiding citizens for whom the experience is unfamiliar and inherently stressful will register as liars.

  • What about if your skaire or nervouse because your skaire the machine is gonna set you up you gonna fail thsts why all the people most likely fail duh then your fuckt wen you know nothing you GETHINGblame for happened

  • Here is where the Test actually makes its bones three people are accused in some type of crime or three people are tested they’re all tested with the same questions the person who ends up being the least truthful the police can now focus on the person and continue to go forward the investigation no one is going to go to jail over a poly graph

  • Are the comments censored? This is dumb, because I have personally defeated a lie detector test. How can they pretend this has any accuracy at all when compared to DNA? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3fHkCFxgQQ

  • to those seeing this, lie detectors are just used to intimidate the person in it so they might give an answer, you can easily cheat it out by being nerve-racked at non important questions and calm on the actual relevant ones

  • Lil xan dont act like we don’t know your hiding in the comments I swear this is the 5th time ive caught a celebrity posing as someone else

  • One good way to beat the Polygraph is before the Test Eat bean Burrito’s and drink a lot of soda so you burp and fart that will really screw up the test

  • hey guys I just want to know your opinion about this I recently take a Lie Detector Test and I am nervous as f*ck its stressed me out the whole time I was taking the test, so I try to develop a strategy by breathing every 3 beats of my heart so the detective wont detect my lie can that kind of strategy works and pls answer me cause Im really getting paranoid about this test

  • See that’s why you just get scared and freaked out while doing it and they wont be able to detect shit since her being calm and the 3 things she claimed blood pressure heart rate and breathing was the catch.Still this just proves nothing unless i try it myself and anyone else out there cause they could just be saying this for the show.

  • It’s completely irrelevant if this man went to jail for teaching people how to beat them. People are still put away on false confessions done by shoddy police work.

  • Polygraph test… Great, simply clench your butt and boom! False positive!

It’d be much more effective to have the subject in an MRI machine and check whether the creative centres of the brain are active (creating a story or lie).

  • I remember watching that one Dr phil show where a mom thought that her son’s gf killed him. The cops ruled the death as an accident but the mom was adamant about the girl taking a polygraph but the girl wouldn’t because she didn’t believe they were accurate. Then the mom and Dr phil made it seem like she must be hiding something becaude she wouldn’t take the test. I hate how he bases most of his conclusions on those results like they’re 100 percent accurate. I had this crazy friend who wanted me to take one. I had to cut that weirdo off real quick.

  • If you dont answer in “yes” or “no” the polygraph cant read your vital accurately no polygraph can read eloborate answers like that. Watch a real polygraph and you will see they ask the participants to answer in only yes or no.

  • Excellent Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (just google it)? • In the U.S. the results of a polygraph are not admissible in court. Even the fact that someone was subjected to such a “test” or refused to take such a “test” is not admissible.

  • I’m nervous / anxious just talking to anyone I’m not completely familiar with. Even then, I’m still socially anxious. I would fail immediately. Fuck the polygraph ha

  • Appreciate Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about Parlandealey Passionate Love Process (just google it)? • As a legal consultant we have to stick to the petition and all answers will be as in the petition. The machine might not as body language at the time of interrogation ion and environment and the counsel have a role to play.

  • Back in my youth I applied for many security guard positions that required passing a lie detector. I took about 8 and lied on all of them and was offered employment on 5.

  • Lie Detectors are old technology and should be put out of comission
What if a witness with social anxiety were being tested by it?
What if he said “Yes” with honesty but due to his anxiety, the device tells it as a lie?

  • What they should do for court usage is explain how polygraphs are generally correct but really push that they aren’t always right. Then say for a murder trial present to the jury with the polygraph results after explaining how they aren’t always right. So that it may help them decide, but shouldn’t be a deciding factor.

  • So if you’re asked a question that makes you a little emotional and your heart rate changes it will say you’re a liar? Yeah I figured that’s how the Maury show worked

  • There is one more technique which works perfectly. Hold your anus tight during basic questions and release it when you are asked actual questions

  • They are completely for real accurate if done right and they’re used for example they suspect someone killed their wife they’re used as an away for police to head in the right direction look at the Chris Watts case he completely failed the polygraph if it’s administered properly but there’s levels to this shit that was an FBI polygrapher I’m not sure about just any polygrapher they have to be well trained have the proper equipment and it’s serious

  • Get a small earpiece that produces a noise. When the guy asks a question press somthing so that you cannot hear the question and say either yes or no.

  • Polygraphs aren’t accurate at all, all u have to do is be calm and keep your heart rate down. They acting like the polygraph is law

Kevin is actually 5’4 so suck it Karen

  • Garbage pseudo-science (at BEST) only meant to benefit shitty police officers and railroad suspects, despite them being inadmissible. It’s deplorable that any modern police force would use them this day in age.

  • How many lives have been ruined by TVs shows like Jerry springer show where they ask have you cheated on your wife. And the lie detector said their lie.ing. Their should be something that helps repair the lives of those affected by this and the public ridicule. Family destroyed. Children loose their parents.

  • I wish they would ask in a polygraph ” Are you Racist?” Ask with the rest of the questions and you will have 80% of applicants denied. Well unless you are recommended by someone who has pull.

  • All he is saying is that we need to get deeper into investigation than relying on polygrams. so many people get away with things due to the tests

  • i love his comedy. I respect his honest answers. Must be noted that people who can make other people laugh are the ones who carries most pain.

  • Hart is turning into one of those big comics we’ve seen all of a sudden just go MIA. Steve martin said when he was at his peak it kinda sucked. Your too big and people get very fake. Kevin is only half done telling a joke or the punchline is nowhere in sight and people are already laughing. Steve martin said he couldn’t get honest feedback on his material with things like that

  • I absolutely HATE when people talk like these things are infallible. They’re wrong 30% of the time yet cops want to act like it proves everything. That is a HUGE margin of error FUCK THAT

  • To beat a multigraph requires “brain” exercises and takes more than a week of practice (assuming you’re an honest person); otherwise and probably unlike the girl in the video you’ve been practicing deceit for years already

  • The mythbusters in the US once put three of their guys into the polygraph test. It only helped to correctly discriminate 2 out of the 3 guys.

  • All my friends say I have no reactions to anything, so I’m fine.

I’m also interested in those tests and would be somewhat interesting to take one.

  • what if you believe what you’re saying is the truth. For example, if someone asked you if the sky is green even though its not you believe it to be true?

  • You can beat the damned thing. Humans are flawed. This machine created by humans. Machine is flawed.

This old dude is full of himself. Arrogance can overshadow true confidence.

Not once did it say that his 1000 test were all successful on his part.

  • There are 4 lie director test. Coronaverse and Voice stress test and Standard polygraph teast and Body language test. NO ONE CAN PASS MORE THAN 1 IF HE IS A LYING.

  • The lie detector only works with truth tellers, because pathological liars don’t even know they’re lying or are pros at it, rendering the lie detector useless against anything other than law abiding citizens.

  • If they ask me did you ever steal I’ll say yes

Bright Side:think of your most unpleasant experience.
    Also them:think of something pleasant

  • Bright Side: During the test, think about the most embarrassing day of your life.
Also Bright Side: Think about pleasant things during the test.

  • You have to believe they work, or they won’t. If you doubt their ability to know you are telling the truth they will say you are lying. That’s because, you’re afraid that the device will not accurately reflect the fact that you are telling the truth. Since the detector measures fear, you get zapped.

  • I have nervous laughter and when i’m pressured to tell the truth. And i am. I don’t why i just start smiling or giggling out of control. I hate it because it gets me in trouble especially in school.

For example: some kids be throwing wet paper and i happen to be holding it.

Teacher: John did you throw that wet paper, don’t lie!

    Me: No… giggles some more

Teacher: Get out of my classroom.

Me: suddenly stops giggling and starts crying in shame.

Help how do i stop. Even in sad moments like when someone is talking about a dead loved one or am at a funeral. I laugh or smile when i’m nervous. Any body know how to cure this?

  • Does it really affect you that much lying? Seems I don’t ever get excited or any thing like fast breathing sweaty palms etc when telling fibs

  • Polygraphs are BS I took one a year ago and lied on pretty much every question he asked and he asked about 20 questions, in the end I passed with flying colors.

  • They work because they test what’s true and false ahead of time to see what the machine reads. THEN they ask the REAL questions and go off of the beginning readings where they saw examples of truth and deception.

  • Why not just answer “I don’t know for certain” to the questions that could get you into trouble? Those machines do seem like a waste of time and money. 50% is not accurate.

  • This piece of crap is actually specifically dangerous to the innocent. Experienced criminals who are used to police interrogations and are thus able to keep their emotions in check can easily defeat it, while generally law-abiding citizens for whom the experience is unfamiliar and inherently stressful will register as liars.

  • This is BULLSHIT! you may as well read their Farts, you would have the same results. It’s been proving by MIT, CAL POLY, YALE, Johns Hopkins, Even NASA and many others that “body language” and “Lie detectors” are BULL SHIT! you have better odds flipping a coin. This is Tea leaf “science”, but Assclowns keep living in delusions.   Robert Hanssen, John Walker, Ted Bundy and many others have “passed” lie detector and “body language” tests for YEARS! before they were caught by someone making a phone call and giving them up. This is Complete BULLSHIT!

  • But if you answer what you truly believe to be the truth (and it’s not really so), then you will pass the test, right?
So sociopaths and psychopaths would be an example of people who could easily pass a lie detector test?

  • “We asked if you cheated more than 50 times, you said NO the lie detector test determined THAT was a lie, you’re getting your d*ck sucked as I read this” My n*gga Maury

  • dont believe this video, i lied a lot on several tests, and passed it you just have to believe that this machine doesnt detect anything.

  • This sounds like a medication add, ask your doctor if this is right for you, then all the effects at the end so it helps you with this but you could expires 20 different effects. And don’t take it if you’re any of these 10 things.

  • Why can’t you just ask yourself a question in your head that has the right yes or no answer so the test reads that you passed even tho you technically didn’t answer their question

  • There is no way to tell if someone is lying unless it’s plainly obvious. There are probably billions of different factors that affect someones body for example you may be nervous if you take a lie detector test, not because you’re lying but because you are just nervous and then the machine will tell you you’re a liar.

  • Polygraphs are BS I took one a year ago and lied on pretty much every question he asked and he asked about 20 questions, in the end I passed with flying colors.

So sociopaths and psychopaths would be an example of people who could easily pass a lie detector test?

  • See that’s why you just get scared and freaked out while doing it and they wont be able to detect shit since her being calm and the 3 things she claimed blood pressure heart rate and breathing was the catch.Still this just proves nothing unless i try it myself and anyone else out there cause they could just be saying this for the show.

  • “The devil hates to be mocked.” No true words. The devil’s demon spawn pulling the string of the puppets in all governments are the same way. This poor man bucked their luciferian system.

  • Garbage pseudo-science (at BEST) only meant to benefit shitty police officers and railroad suspects, despite them being inadmissible. It’s deplorable that any modern police force would use them this day in age.

  • Why can’t you just ask yourself a question in your head that has the right yes or no answer so the test reads that you passed even tho you technically didn’t answer their question

  • I’m pretty sure the fact that they’re serious and not laughing is scripted and part of the joke to make Kevin look funny in a serious situation.

  • She’s a moron she did exactly what would make you fail she kept focusing on how she was going to tell the Lie and control her breathing which is exactly what they pick up on

  • If you dont answer in “yes” or “no” the polygraph cant read your vital accurately no polygraph can read eloborate answers like that. Watch a real polygraph and you will see they ask the participants to answer in only yes or no.

  • I would much rather support and believe the results of the DNA test that has a probability of success of at least 97 or 98% confidence level than a hunk of junk based on pseudoscience.

  • I’ve taken polygraphs lied on every one of them except the one I failed and realized something. It’s all a bunch of b.s. take the guys work and word on that.

  • Theres a lot of people who think they can test the Polly graph…its dumb to think that…fact is that there not 100% BUT often if someone is very truthful or untruthful there is a very large margin for what is almost certain or not….when its just barely a lie or barely not that scans as inconclusive….

  • The trouble with this particular video and the person taking the test this there’s no consequence for lying noneshe can lie all she wants nothings going to happen to her

If you were accused of seriously injuring your mother or stealing are expensive diamond ring there are consequences to coming off deceptive

  • There is a very very very good way to skew the results of the test I’m not going to give you the way to beat it but I’ve seen it done and I’ve actually heard of a person being arrested for doing it because they considered it obstruction of justice

  • There’s a verse in the Bible that says you can pick fruit from your neighbor tree or bush if you use your hands, but not a basket.

Not only is Matt’s reputation on the line, but for the athletes, being branded a cheater is death to their natural body building careers. The pressure is on Ken to keep the competition fair for everyone.

  • it doesn’t work it simply detects heartbeats telling the truth without being calm is simply lying while lying while be calm is simply telling the truth

  • So how would it work for someone like me who has anxiety attacks? And, how would it work on a pathological liar who believes their own lies?

  • If you clicked on video learn how best this thing you have already failed. Because you actually belief it does what it name states. But it’s cool video, saw a lot of these theme type reality shows when I was teenager.

  • You have to believe they work, or they won’t. If you doubt their ability to know you are telling the truth they will say you are lying. That’s because, you’re afraid that the device will not accurately reflect the fact that you are telling the truth. Since the detector measures fear, you get zapped.

  • If they don’t work how are these tv shows determining who’s lying & who’s telling the truth… I’m clearly not putting all my faith into a lie detector test… But are producers flipping coins backstage to figure out whose lives they’re going to ruin?!

  • You have to believe they work, or they won’t. That’s because, if you don’t believe the machine will reflect that fact that you are telling the truth, you’ll be afraid even when you are telling the truth. Since the machine measures fear, it will register your answers as lies even though they are not. The higher the stakes, the more fear. I’ve taken a poly. I was accused of rape. I did not commit the rape or any other wrongdoing. The detectives told me I lied during the poly. I did not. It went down hill from there. Never agree to a poly. Also, never sign a waiver to talk to police without a lawyer. Never say anything to police except for one word: “Lawyer.”

  • One good way to beat the Polygraph is before the Test Eat bean Burrito’s and drink a lot of soda so you burp and fart that will really screw up the test

  • TAKE MELATONON? NOT SURE OF SPELLING BUT A RELAXERHELPS WITH SLEEP OR STRESSFUL DAYS AND YEP A LIE DETECTOR AS WELL I AM TOLD ON THE STREET

  • Polygraphs aren’t accurate at all, all u have to do is be calm and keep your heart rate down. They acting like the polygraph is law

Kevin is actually 5’4 so suck it Karen

  • The simple way is a person is actually lying about something just be calm take a deep breath an focus on something else I guarantee the lie detector won’t work I mean is unreliable

  • They work because they test what’s true and false ahead of time to see what the machine reads. THEN they ask the REAL questions and go off of the beginning readings where they saw examples of truth and deception.

  • and if there was a way to beat a polygraph do you think that our governments would allow TV show companies and people in general on YouTube to go out giving information like this to the general public a big giant no

  • You can beat the damned thing. Humans are flawed. This machine created by humans. Machine is flawed.

This old dude is full of himself. Arrogance can overshadow true confidence.

Not once did it say that his 1000 test were all successful on his part.

  • In the U.S. the results of a polygraph are not admissible in court. Even the fact that someone was subjected to such a “test” or refused to take such a “test” is not admissible.

  • They don’t work. Unless the tester tells to the subject that the machine shows you lied there, didn’t you? and the subject says yeah I did.

  • Regardless of whether they work or not, many places do employ them and you may need to pass one.

That being said, probably 98% of you have never taken a polygraph test.

  • Ok I’m seeing everyone saying ‘they were to serious’ and all that. I almost feel like that adds to the humor. I can’t be alone in thinking it makes it funnier.

  • TIMESTAMPS
How does a polygraph work? 1:31
How to prepare for a polygraph test:
    Be physically ready. 3:52
    Let yourself feel nervous. 4:37
Try not to lie about details. 6:15
    Don’t rush it. 7:22
    Imagine something pleasant. 8:45
Don’t use any physical tricks. 9:21
What to do after the polygraph test? 10:26
Bonus: when should you not take a polygraph test? 10:57

  • I was hoping to hear something approaching scientific regarding use of the polygraph, not a simplistic “crime”reproduction involving a tack. Lame lame lame!

  • What they should do for court usage is explain how polygraphs are generally correct but really push that they aren’t always right. Then say for a murder trial present to the jury with the polygraph results after explaining how they aren’t always right. So that it may help them decide, but shouldn’t be a deciding factor.

  • Ok I’m seeing everyone saying ‘they were to serious’ and all that. I almost feel like that adds to the humor. I can’t be alone in thinking it makes it funnier.

  • If you believe in the multiverse, technically every question can be answered yes and no, lol. Pick a different reality and you’ll never be lying.

  • How many lives have been ruined by TVs shows like Jerry springer show where they ask have you cheated on your wife. And the lie detector said their lie.ing. Their should be something that helps repair the lives of those affected by this and the public ridicule. Family destroyed. Children loose their parents.

  • Lie Detectors are old technology and should be put out of comission
What if a witness with social anxiety were being tested by it?
What if he said “Yes” with honesty but due to his anxiety, the device tells it as a lie?

  • The trouble with this particular video and the person taking the test this there’s no consequence for lying noneshe can lie all she wants nothings going to happen to her

If you were accused of seriously injuring your mother or stealing are expensive diamond ring there are consequences to coming off deceptive

Bright Side:think of your most unpleasant experience.
    Also them:think of something pleasant

  • He doesn’t really prove it in this video, I’m not convinced by this, I was convinced by many other better examples proving you can pass a test.

  • If you clicked on video learn how best this thing you have already failed. Because you actually belief it does what it name states. But it’s cool video, saw a lot of these theme type reality shows when I was teenager.

  • The inventor of the polygraph was John Augustus Larson, who disagrees with the way it has been used and even says law enforcement has abused it. It has even been used by scientist to hook up to plants and conclude that plants have feelings.

  • So if you’re asked a question that makes you a little emotional and your heart rate changes it will say you’re a liar? Yeah I figured that’s how the Maury show worked

  • Besides putting someone in jail cause the pigs think we did it, is reason enough for me to put a gun and blow there head off case closed.

  • “The devil hates to be mocked.” No true words. The devil’s demon spawn pulling the string of the puppets in all governments are the same way. This poor man bucked their luciferian system.

  • If someone ever lied & defeated the detector test. Then they will have to always remain quiet about the polygraph being incorrect because otherwise they will dig themselves their own grave.

  • If you believe in the multiverse, technically every question can be answered yes and no, lol. Pick a different reality and you’ll never be lying.

  • This is BULLSHIT! you may as well read their Farts, you would have the same results. • It’s like we living in a movie or sum, wtf is people getting punished for exposing the truth that helps people live better lives. I can’t

  • O.K., lets say you were suspected of murdering someone. You are innocent. Wouldn’t your response to questions not related to the allegation be significantly diferent than a response to s question upon which your entire future depends on?

  • If he gave back his salary for the years he administered those polygraph tests Maybe then I’d buy his story. You can’t eat from both ends of the fork.

  • it pretty obvious that you are totally unprepared to beat it just by “breathing” you have to spike your vitals on the control question. also take a pill to reduce your blow pressure and heart rate. you just sat there with and made us waste our time…

  • There is no way to tell if someone is lying unless it’s plainly obvious. There are probably billions of different factors that affect someones body for example you may be nervous if you take a lie detector test, not because you’re lying but because you are just nervous and then the machine will tell you you’re a liar.

  • To beat a multigraph requires “brain” exercises and takes more than a week of practice (assuming you’re an honest person); otherwise and probably unlike the girl in the video you’ve been practicing deceit for years already

  • what if you believe what you’re saying is the truth. For example, if someone asked you if the sky is green even though its not you believe it to be true?

  • to those seeing this, lie detectors are just used to intimidate the person in it so they might give an answer, you can easily cheat it out by being nerve-racked at non important questions and calm on the actual relevant ones

  • Why not just answer “I don’t know for certain” to the questions that could get you into trouble? Those machines do seem like a waste of time and money. 50% is not accurate.

  • You have to believe they work, or they won’t.
