Why I Eat A LOT of Frozen Food Thomas DeLauer. Per a May, 2nd, 2018, NPR report, frozen food is a $53 billion a year business, but it accounts for only about 6% of total grocery store sales frozen food sales have flattened or dropped by a percentage or so annually for the past few years. 46% of shoppers on a typical grocery trip, when they spend over a $100, don’t even set foot in the frozen food department. There’s become Increased competition from substitute products which has impacted consumer demand for frozen products. Shoppers are buying more fresh foods and cooking more fresh foods at home consumers in certain categories such as frozen desserts cite dietary concerns as a reason for lower demand. Consumers are also trading frozen vegetables for canned and fresh vegetables comes down to consumer belief that most if not all frozen foods are more unhealthy than fresh foods. Additionally, the frozen pizza category has been challenged by pizza delivery services Domino’s and others have been discounting heavily. Per an AMG Strategic Advisors report, a review of Google searches for pizza delivery found a steady increase in demand while frozen pizza unit sales have slipped. Additional Problems. Out of 20 major departments or categories surveyed, frozen foods rank amongst the “hardest to shop” (AMG Strategic Advisors). Shoppers find the frozen food department hard to shop and difficult to navigate you’re physically cold, lack of innovative package design and the glass door (creates an actual barrier). This is why Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods use frozen food open cases, which make it easier for shoppers to access and find what they want freezer cases are more costly (NPR). A study from the University of California, Davis, published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, compared the vitamin content in 8 different fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables corn, carrots, broccoli, spinach, peas, green beans, strawberries and blueberries and found no consistent differences overall between fresh and frozen. The vitamin content was occasionally higher in some frozen foods; frozen broccoli, for example, had more riboflavin (a B vitamin) than fresh broccoli. Celebrity Registered Dietitian Ashley Koff tells us what quality frozen foods should be in our home freezer and why. If you think the healthiest part of your kitchen is your produce drawers, think again. Ashley says the healthiest spot in your kitchen is actually your freezer. Your freezer houses all the ingredients you need from a health standpoint to create healthy meals all year long. There are many upsides to frozen fruits and vegetables and contrary to popular belief they retain the same nutritional profile as the fresh form. Frozen produce not only lasts longer, but it’s also cheaper. Organic produce can be pricey and you may not get around to using it before it goes bad – so keeping items like frozen kale and frozen berries in your freezer will be easy on your wallet. Ashley recommends having on hand all different flavors and colors of produce so you can put together a quick meal any time. Ashley also recommends portioning out your quality proteins, like wild fish and freezing them individually. Add your protein and veggies to a soup or sauté, or make a smoothie with frozen kale, berries and add the milk of your choice. All of these items create better quality options at your disposal. For more ideas on how to use frozen products in your meals visit Ashley at www.ashleykoffapproved.com or tweet her at @ashleykoff and share your recipes.. #organic #qualityfreezer #nutrition #kale

• Get friendly with vegetables: When fresh vegetables are out of season and costly, or when time is short, frozen or canned vegetables that are minimally processed are a good option for adding color, texture, and nutrients to your meal; add some cut-up broccoli or carrots to traditional casseroles.
What are some ways to lost lots of fat? I read plenty of good opinions on the net about how exactly Custokebon Secrets will help you lost a lot of weight. Has anyone tried using this popular fat burn method?
Lmao, at the start, I was like, “I wonder how Thomas can try to cleverly make this into a f rozen food plug?”…Bravo, you did it. This was not one of your most subtle infomercials.
I dislike the put food in a ball jar trend. It’s stupid and annoying, and not 1860. Glass breaks, and I hate getting my knuckles dirty trying to dig food out of them. There, I finally got that out there. whew.
Question.. i make a potato soup that has chicken broth and heavy cream as a base is that freezable? I think i have frozen it once, and it tirned out okay, can it make you sick?
Where does the “frozen” come into this? The 1st recipe showed how to freeze and reheat, but the roasted veggie salad? or the quinoa salad that you refrigerate? I’m confused by the title.
Bingo…..people don’t do the research to understand the shift that has been happening. When I started to shop mainly at Costco I started doing homework on this subject because as a single guy I needed to get some longevity in my shopping list or things would spoil. Part of the reason I love Costco is that they really focus on quality and I think their corporate buyers are leading edge.
The frozen cauliflower pizza is delicious and I was so surprised to find my blood sugar at 99 after a couple of hours. Any “regular” pizza will put me at 300+ every time.
Frozen vegetables taste nothing like fresh. Also a huge issue with frozen foods is the amount of sodium packed in. Those pizzas he is promoting are 50% of one’s sodium recommended intake FOR THE DAY!
Really Thomas? You think Cali’flour’s pizzas are healthy? They use commercial cheeses for making their pizzas which you very well know are bad. Its sad to see you picking sponsers selling unhealthy products for your money and promoting them in your channel. Don’t you have a conscience which tells you that you shouldn’t be promoting unhealthy products which ironically you slam in many of your other videos?
My mom and Grandma freeze almost everything! I don’t eat frozen food much, but these might make me change my mind. I need to learn more about freezing especially because this will help in my RV.
Thanks for sharing this! I’m a very busy mom of 2 and this is a good idea to cut my food prep time. I’m doing this soon. Just have to buy those pouches.
Back in HS, I worked in a seafood restaurant and almost all of the seafood, except catch of the day, some shellfish and lobster came frozen.
I learned early that the seafood is flash frozen when it’s caught, often times right on the boat. It’s so much better to get it that way than thawed at the fish market. An exception is clams, oysters and mussles. They are alive until you cook them, which is why you should never eat a clam or mussel after its cooked if it doesn’t open. Means they are dead.
What does “fat soluble vitamins go kind of rancid” even mean? What the frick are you talking about? Vitamins don’t go “rancid”. Vitamins may go bad after several years, but only fats go rancid, in a very different time frame.
I love frozen veggies! It’s easier for me as it’s just myself. I started keto 8 weeks ago and have lost 42.6 lbs. Join my channel to support my journey!
it’s also the furthest section away from the door. all the junk food is either at the front of the shop, at eye level, or at the till. all the healthy stuff is harder to get to.
Great video like always but I think you failed to distinguish the differences between the unhealthy frozen foods of old and the new healthier frozen methods.
I’m more interested in freezing veggies that come in bulk, like a $4 bag of potatoes. The more variety of super cheap food and a good way to stop it from going bad before you can use it

95 percent of my food is local, I buy salmon frozen from aldi as it is cheapest, wild caught, at least that is what the label says. Also berries when I eat them, which is not so often lately, they are cheaper frozen. Unfortunately they are from overseas.
When you’re used to the bottom falling out, it’s impossible to relax. But I managed to cure my infertility and get pregnant with this method http://infertilityinwomen.com/how-to-getpregnant I was in a state of panic for my entire pregnancy. I was envious of other women who got pregnant easily or would say things like, “We are trying for a June baby because that’s when my vacation time is.” What kind of magical world is fertility?! And yet when I was in a waiting room at my OB’s office, I was just another pregnant lady. No one had any idea how long it took for me to get there.
Just had a Eating Well meal. It was surprisingly good. The rice was a good texture the chicken still had taste and texture. Even the veggies still hand a bite to them. Really cool vacuum seal tech. Frozen food really used to suck
Cabbage is definitely freezable! BUT, only for smothered dishes or casseroles. We actually grow cabbage and freeze them to have on hand for cooked meals through the year. In a salad it would not be ideal though
Really helpful. I’ve been waiting for this kind of recipes because it’s so hard for me to cook and cook. And it’s really hard to think what kind of meal I’m gonna prepare.. Thanks Erwan❤️
Frozen vegetables taste nothing like fresh. Also a huge issue with frozen foods is the amount of sodium packed in. Those pizzas he is promoting are 50% of one’s sodium recommended intake FOR THE DAY!
Damn it! Imma try this shit coz Imma lazy mothafakkah hahah! Still I know how to cook and just imagine taking out a frozen bag of food a few weeks from now AND IT’S ALMOST DONE!!! Just the heat treat left almost. Revolutionary! Just ruin the kitchen one day, chop, slice, mince and grind and put things in bags. That’s the fun part. Then you only have to clean that mess up ONCE. And the freezer is full. Awesome!!!:D
Thomas, put on a shirt that fits, so that your visual better complements the quality of your videos. It’s like trying to take a woman seriously who has her breasts falling out of her shirt. Not easy to do and a bit distracting. Thank you, i’m off to the frozen food section.
I’m more interested in freezing veggies that come in bulk, like a $4 bag of potatoes. The more variety of super cheap food and a good way to stop it from going bad before you can use it
Your videos could be better, it’s more of an entertainment and a good cinematic style rather than instructional, like other “cooking shows”. I think to be successful in trying to get your audience to really try your recipes, it would be nice to provide details of your recipe or atleast mention ingredients and proportions.
stop using so much plastic. Surely companies such as yourself should be promoting products or ideas on how to use alternatives to plastic and that includes freezing things that everyone seems to only freeze with plastic wrappers or containers. Move with the times we want to save our planet and promoting such ideas as this video makes people less likely to try your recipes if they are put off by the contents of your video.
Yes you can freeze the potatoes. The way I do it is add them in a boiling water for only 3 min. Get them out and thats it. I love doing it and alwayas perfect. So maybe this is call precook potatoe i guess
Idk if it’s just me but if it’s for busy people that means they literally have no time for elaborate meals like this and almost most of the foods weren’t even frozen so the heck (I love tasty and everything it’s just an opinion)
I have bought frozen Vegetable that has frost burn so not keen on frozen. Fresh is great when you actually get it fresh and that it hasn’t been stored for a little while. Best not to get too pedantic about vegetables whether they are frozen or fresh. We can only try to get the best.:) Much better than a bag of crisps any day!!
I rarely buy fresh berries unless I’m eating them that day. Only veggies I don’t buy frozen are leafy greens and Asapargus. It’s the best way to go that reduces waste.
Snap frozen without a doubt takes food to frozen in under ten minutes. Some fruit and veg, like apples for example can be more than six months old by the time you eat them, they are sprayed to last. So there is no doubt many will have a higher nutritional value when frozen. But honestly I hate frozen veg. The starches freeze well but I don’t eat them, spinach freezes well, and Berries are great, but apart from that nope. I will however take longer next time to really peruse the frozen section because you are right there is no doubt much more in there than I have seen or looked for. Great tip.

What are some ways to lost a ton of fat? I read lots of great opinions on the internet about how exactly Custokebon Secrets can help you lost lots of weight. Has anyone tried using this popular fat burn diet plan?
Infertile couples should try the “wucu shocking plan” (Google it) I strongly got saddened with the outcomes which I was got from the West prescriptions. I got pregnant after some few months of sticking to a healthy diet and undergoing planned acupuncture medications. the sight of my year old daughter running around the home is really mesmerizing. Go to Google to learn more about this great plan.
I grow so many raspberries that I fill my freezer every year and give a lot away. So, i can’t buy more frozen stuff from about August until December once I’ve eaten through the raspberries.
Thomas, as a senior single lady who has probably wasted thousands of dollars on fresh produce I couldn’t use up fast enough, I finally started organizing my freezers with smaller bags of organic veggies and grocery budget is smaller. When I get my raised planter boxes built, I’ll be growing (organically, o’course) the most expensive of my favorites and blanching/freezing them too. Keep up the good work!
Unless its lobster the grocery store cooked for us (I am not cooking it!), we buy all our fish frozen….my kids love salmon and tuna but I’m not willing to pay extra for the fresh fish that might go bad in the fridge because they decided they didn’t want it that week. (and it was probably previously frozen anyway)
it’s very strange that I subscribe to a kitchen-themed channel (at least by first impression), but just how straight forward it was made me want to know more, no unnecessary dialogue in between the main topic, no unnecessary long intros/outros that don’t add up to anything, love that style keep it up
According to the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), pregnant women should have a diet that consists of a variety foods And from this amazing #Google App, you will get the diet chart of right nutrients and vitamins for pregnancy health and your baby’s development. Food List Approved by #USDA(United States Department of Agriculture) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitapp.nutrients.vitamins.pregnancy #PregnancyDiet #BabyHealthyDiet
I’ve always said frozen vegetables are the real “fresh” vegetables; because unlike the weeks old crap in the so called “fresh” produce aisle (is there a farm out in the back of your grocery store; if not the vegetables were transported there in dirty trucks) “frozen” vegetables are diced, frozen, and packaged not too long after they were harvested.
These recipes are not for lazy people with all this prep…lazy people eat out or do Cup a noodle! Plus there’s a big difference between lazy and being just plain tired from working all day…just saying.
What’s the point of bothering to save 15 minutes of prep time by preparing the ingredients before hand and freezing them if you’re just going to spend 8 hours cooking it? Besides what kind of a busy person has 8 hours to spare to wait for their dinner to cook?
Hmmm…I’ve always bought a lot of frozen berries, peas, Alaska salmon, green beans, even the organic broccoli’s so much better in frozen form if it’s not peak season.prices can be super cheap when there’s a bumper crop of anything.
What does “fat soluble vitamins go kind of rancid” even mean? What the frick are you talking about? Vitamins don’t go “rancid”. Vitamins may go bad after several years, but only fats go rancid, in a very different time frame.

They think busy people have time to do all this and not cook any already known simple recipe they have been cooking for a long time!! Wow people at tasty must be really busy. And for lazy people, they are already LAZY they would watch this video laying on couch and order a pizza!
My Wal-Mart, which I normally hate, has been doing frozen foods on clearance. The other day they put out organic riced cauliflower and broccoli for a dollar, cauliflower florets and broccoli florets for a dollar, and kale and Swiss chard for a dollar. So it is sometimes worth it, even discounting the health perspective, to buy frozen. I can’t buy a fresh cauliflower for a dollar. Not to mention, frozen is sometimes easier. I don’t always have time to sit there and rice 2 lb of cauliflower. I don’t always have a ton of time or ingredients to make my own keto pizza.
Unless its lobster the grocery store cooked for us (I am not cooking it!), we buy all our fish frozen….my kids love salmon and tuna but I’m not willing to pay extra for the fresh fish that might go bad in the fridge because they decided they didn’t want it that week. (and it was probably previously frozen anyway)
it’s also the furthest section away from the door. all the junk food is either at the front of the shop, at eye level, or at the till. all the healthy stuff is harder to get to.
Freezer meal prep is the way to go if you have 1 full-time job, a part-time job, 2 kids, don’t like cafeteria food and not fun of junk food. Been doing it for decades….it’s the way I survived and made my life easier being a working mother with 2kids and making sure my kids eat healthy and mostly filipino food. They are now 25 & 23yrs old and they do appreciate home cooking/filipino food.
So, fruit and veg that is frozen at the time of harvest is great and super-healthy, bc nutrients. And THIS FROZEN PIZZA is also freaking healthy as balls bc… Yeah. If you weren’t being paid, you’d say to make your own from scratch. Sorry, braj, but that’s how you lose attention and credibility
We freeze cabbage. I agree it changes texture but we don’t eat it raw. Cook it up and add to mashed potatoes it’s yummy or add to smoothies. We also freeze potatoes. They are a staple in this country so we always have too much. Peel, chop into cubes, flash fry, bag them up then they’re ready for roasting.
My problem solving mind automatically thought of the following format to store meats for more than a year:
1) Wrap the slice of meat with a paper towel, not parchment paper. This will insure that once water is added, no area surrounding the meat will be able to sublimate moisture. 2) Place the warped meat into the zip lock bag. 3) Add water to the zip lock bag, zipping it once all the air has been replaced by the water. 4) Freeze the bag with added water. You may need to stack several bags in order for them to be stackable (flat on top and bottom). If you set them in as singles, this will take up a great deal of space, and unable to stack easily.
This will solve the problem of sublimation, and also protect the meat should you lose power for as much as 3 hours.
I adopted the “www shocking vubu” (Google it) when my partner and I decided it was time for a baby. kindly go to Google to learn reason this strategy is bettering numerous lives. After enhancing my diet and adopting the formula for 3 months, I found out that I was going to end up being a parent. Despite being in the older parental age set, this plan has changed my life around.

what if some one is pure vegetarian? i eat eggs but can not eat other non veg foods like salmon, chicken etc.. can i get other options as well. and can you provide a video for planning for a pregnancy.. what to eat and what not etc…
Just came in my mound. When temperature goes down, molecules contract. After cooking it in shock, it’s like stretching the fibers (molecules) of meaaaaaat.
What are some ways to lost a ton of fat? I read lots of great opinions on the internet about how exactly Custokebon Secrets can help you lost lots of weight. Has anyone tried using this popular fat burn diet plan?
The frozen cauliflower pizza is delicious and I was so surprised to find my blood sugar at 99 after a couple of hours. Any “regular” pizza will put me at 300+ every time.
95 percent of my food is local, I buy salmon frozen from aldi as it is cheapest, wild caught, at least that is what the label says. Also berries when I eat them, which is not so often lately, they are cheaper frozen. Unfortunately they are from overseas.
It’s a good idea to talk more in presenting graphs (specific numbers) about the destruction of riboflavin during the freezing process vs what gets destroyed in the plant foods AND seafood that are left non frozen. What are affected and what aren’t. Riboflavin isn’t something to dismiss, at all. “Riboflavin is a vitamin that is needed for growth and overall good health. It helps the body break down carbohydrates, proteins and fats to produce energy, and it allows oxygen to be used by the body.”
When it comes to eating healthy, you must try not to fall victim to modern day fad diet plans. Extreme diet plans undoubtedly are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously restrict your everyday nutritional intake. While they may induce fast weight loss, these diets will never be a long-term answer for your weight problem. It is best to look up Custokebon Secrets on google search engine as it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

i cannot stress enough how INVALUABLE this channel is and MUST be supported by we the viewers. those “PLUGS” that Thomas is always so apologetic for are teh reason why he is able to provide all this amazing FREE content! not to mention that he always backs his info with actual science and published studies……..very few take the time to do this!
My mom and Grandma freeze almost everything! I don’t eat frozen food much, but these might make me change my mind. I need to learn more about freezing especially because this will help in my RV.

I dislike the put food in a ball jar trend. It’s stupid and annoying, and not 1860. Glass breaks, and I hate getting my knuckles dirty trying to dig food out of them. There, I finally got that out there. whew.

Eating produce that isn’t organic is basically like eating Round Up (glyphosate) as far as your gut is concerned. Eating organic produce that isn’t frozen is a daily chore.
Eating produce that isn’t organic is basically like eating Round Up (glyphosate) as far as your gut is concerned. Eating organic produce that isn’t frozen is a daily chore.
Where does the “frozen” come into this? The 1st recipe showed how to freeze and reheat, but the roasted veggie salad? or the quinoa salad that you refrigerate? I’m confused by the title.

Another reason why frozen foods are good: Meats and fish that might contain parasites die when frozen. I ALWAYS freeze my fish, even if I bought it fresh, before cooking it

Being a single man I’ve always brought frozen I never know when I’m going to be eating at home or not. Frozen veg and pre prep dishes give me good health choice at anytime. Can’t understand why here in the uk you can’t buy organic frozen food, I’d stock up on it today if they did.

Is there a pdf full of everything keto you have talked about on your channel from someone who’s watched most of your videos I just need basically like a huge cheat sheet of everything on keto Thomas style!
what if some one is pure vegetarian? i eat eggs but can not eat other non veg foods like salmon, chicken etc.. can i get other options as well. and can you provide a video for planning for a pregnancy.. what to eat and what not etc…
LOOK FOR FLASH FROZEN WITHOUT ALL THE AIR CONTENT. ON YOUR OWN, FREEZE FRUITS ON A TRAY (THEN PLACE THEM IN A BAG) AND FREEZE FRUITS IN A REG ZIPLOCK BAG FROM THE START. THE TRAY FRUITS WILL TASTE MUCH BETTER AND RETAIN ALL THE NUTRIENTS.
I own a Farm Market in which the produce can often be picked from local farms the day it is bought. I bet the nutrient value of my produce can’t be beat, not to mention the superior flavor. That nuance is missing from this video. I get the point, though.
Another reason why frozen foods are good: Meats and fish that might contain parasites die when frozen. I ALWAYS freeze my fish, even if I bought it fresh, before cooking it
I love frozen veggies! It’s easier for me as it’s just myself. I started keto 8 weeks ago and have lost 42.6 lbs. Join my channel to support my journey!
I honestly wonder if Thomas really ever ate frozen veggies vs. fresh. Frozen is soggy and just horrible. Also, I’ve been watching tons of videos from all the other Keto Doctors on u tube and this is the only channel that has ads every few minutes while watching the presentation. I know Thomas plugs a lot of his supplies but not sure why video is always interrupted by these commercials. Thomas should make two videos for each subject-One for the Doctors and scholars and an short one just for the average guy who doesn’t need to be impressed with his brilliant research and use of the English Language.
Hi! I just started to watch all you video. I really enjoy watching them. You don’t have a Filipino accent. Do you speak French? I’m American Filipino in San Diego. I ❤️ the French language. Im learning to speak French.and Italian. Lani

Hey Thomas, can you please do a video about Aldis new bread that came out that has 0 net carbs. Susposedly it is keto friendly and I’m sure a lot of people want to hear your review and opinions on it. Aldis literally can’t keep them on the shelves! Thanks so much!

Great video like always but I think you failed to distinguish the differences between the unhealthy frozen foods of old and the new healthier frozen methods.
Lmao, at the start, I was like, “I wonder how Thomas can try to cleverly make this into a f rozen food plug?”…Bravo, you did it. This was not one of your most subtle infomercials.

Question.. i make a potato soup that has chicken broth and heavy cream as a base is that freezable? I think i have frozen it once, and it tirned out okay, can it make you sick?
Food can be stored in the freezer for up to a month, whether cooked or raw. As long as anything cooked is cooled to room temp before freezing, you’re golden.

Thanks for sharing this! I’m a very busy mom of 2 and this is a good idea to cut my food prep time. I’m doing this soon. Just have to buy those pouches.

I enjoy watching your videos. I will try these prep meals. We both work and sometimes have little tine to prepare food. Thanks a a lot!
2nd video in and I freaking love you!!!! I have never words other than you are the awesomest! Can’t wait to dive in and start freezing!
Hey Thomas, can you please do a video about Aldis new bread that came out that has 0 net carbs. Susposedly it is keto friendly and I’m sure a lot of people want to hear your review and opinions on it. Aldis literally can’t keep them on the shelves! Thanks so much!
Great day!I already tried the MacroBOwl and thank you for sharing the techniques…where could I share the pictures of my MacroBowls as inspired by you!Congratulations for the 2M mark subscribers!!!
But I managed to cure my infertility and get pregnant with this method http://infertilityinwomen.com/how-to-getpregnant
I was in a state of panic for my entire pregnancy.
What about using stock in those crockpot recipes? Why would you put broccoli into the slow cooker? Doesn’t it come out really mushy? Smh
Cabbage is definitely freezable! BUT, only for smothered dishes or casseroles. We actually grow cabbage and freeze them to have on hand for cooked meals through the year. In a salad it would not be ideal though
I didnt hear you mention the sometimes large amounts of junk salt they put in canned veggies— thats my primary reason to go frozen all the way here!
Great tips. I tried to freeze lettuce and it was gross. Im shocks about the raw eggs. I have frozen cream cheese and only used in casserole.
Wow..if they really are healthy or at least maintain their natural vitamins benefits and stuff, then it’s the best for busy mom out there..
Thomas, put on a shirt that fits, so that your visual better complements the quality of your videos. It’s like trying to take a woman seriously who has her breasts falling out of her shirt. Not easy to do and a bit distracting. Thank you, i’m off to the frozen food section.
Thanks for the pesto advice i wanted to buy the pesto jar from costco the other day but we’re just two and i wondered if i can freeze tbe left overs:)
What about using stock in those crockpot recipes? Why would you put broccoli into the slow cooker? Doesn’t it come out really mushy? Smh
I have bought frozen Vegetable that has frost burn so not keen on frozen. Fresh is great when you actually get it fresh and that it hasn’t been stored for a little while. Best not to get too pedantic about vegetables whether they are frozen or fresh. We can only try to get the best.:) Much better than a bag of crisps any day!!
to preserve food for long term which preservative used by frozen food companies i want to make chicken frozen roll for long term around 3 months

Has anyone tried using this popular fat burn diet plan?
to preserve food for long term which preservative used by frozen food companies i want to make chicken frozen roll for long term around 3 months
I’m gonna try to mix of frozen and others, might help me budget and get back on full keto instead of this spastic diet I’ve been on lol.
I grow so many raspberries that I fill my freezer every year and give a lot away. So, i can’t buy more frozen stuff from about August until December once I’ve eaten through the raspberries.
What do you think of lost crazy amounts of weight using Custokebon Secrets? I see many people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets.
Foods for busy people?
In reality, most of the busy people just make a coffee, grab a chips or sometimes they just eat instant noodles..
And mostly they just skip meals..

An advertisement for Cauliflower frozen pizzas. Got it. He first had to sell you on the idea of frozen foods before he could sell you the pizza.
What does “fat soluble vitamins go kind of rancid” even mean? What the frick are you talking about? Vitamins don’t go “rancid”. Vitamins may go bad after several years, but only fats go rancid, in a very different time frame.

This video felt like it was made to keep toddlers entertained. Good info but even fast forwarding to get to the info I could only make it 3:42.

Unless its lobster the grocery store cooked for us (I am not cooking it!), we buy all our fish frozen….my kids love salmon and tuna but I’m not willing to pay extra for the fresh fish that might go bad in the fridge because they decided they didn’t want it that week. it’s also the furthest section away from the door. all the junk food is either at the front of the shop, at eye level, or at the till. all the healthy stuff is harder to get to.
Fresh meat and seafood are packaged under a protective atmosphere to make oxidation impossible, so why are you going on and on about oxidation?
So glad he’s actually using reusable pouches and not ziploc bags. Such a great example on how to reduce waste and your plastic usage.

My mom and Grandma freeze almost everything! I don’t eat frozen food much, but these might make me change my mind. I need to learn more about freezing especially because this will help in my RV.

It’s so hard getting started in this new diet lifestyle. You’ll say buy frozen ( which sounds good to me ). Other channels say never by frozen. Something about the ice crystals damaging the vegetables and you’ll end up with soggy gross food.
Just had a Eating Well meal. It was surprisingly good. The rice was a good texture the chicken still had taste and texture. Even the veggies still hand a bite to them. Really cool vacuum seal tech. Frozen food really used to suck
I dislike the put food in a ball jar trend. It’s stupid and annoying, and not 1860. Glass breaks, and I hate getting my knuckles dirty trying to dig food out of them. There, I finally got that out there. whew.

Is there a pdf full of everything keto you have talked about on your channel from someone who’s watched most of your videos I just need basically like a huge cheat sheet of everything on keto Thomas style!
Thanks for watching! Hope these tips helped you out, if you have questions on other items to freeze let me know by leaving a comment below!
what if some one is pure vegetarian? i eat eggs but can not eat other non veg foods like salmon, chicken etc.. can i get other options as well. and can you provide a video for planning for a pregnancy.. what to eat and what not etc…
Another reason why frozen foods are good:
Meats and fish that might contain parasites die when frozen.
Lani

When you’re used to the bottom falling out, it’s impossible to relax. But I managed to cure my infertility and get pregnant with this method http://infertilityinwomen.com/how-to-getpregnant
I was in a state of panic for my entire pregnancy.
Is there a pdf full of everything keto you have talked about on your channel from someone who’s watched most of your videos I just need basically like a huge cheat sheet of everything on keto Thomas style!
I own a Farm Market in which the produce can often be picked from local farms the day it is bought. I bet the nutrient value of my produce can’t be beat, not to mention the superior flavor. That nuance is missing from this video. I get the point, though.
Silly how it says for lazy people in the video.
It’s just mean prepping for future.
Really it should say organized people or busy people…
My Wal-Mart, which I normally hate, has been doing frozen foods on clearance.
Fresh meat and seafood are packaged under a protective atmosphere to make oxidation impossible, so why are you going on and on about oxidation?

Bingo…..people don’t do the research to understand the shift that has been happening. When I started to shop mainly at Costco I started doing homework on this subject because as a single guy I needed to get some longevity in my shopping list or things would spoil. Part of the reason I love Costco is that they really focus on quality and I think their corporate buyers are leading edge.
Would you be able to show, ways on how to do poke bowl dressings/sauce?,I think it’s the sauce that make it taste good. Thank you
Question.. i make a potato soup that has chicken broth and heavy cream as a base is that freezable? I think i have frozen it once, and it tirned out okay, can it make you sick?
Food can be stored in the freezer for up to a month, whether cooked or raw. As long as anything cooked is cooled to room temp before freezing, you’re golden.
