So You Want to Stop Eating Your Kryptonite Food 1. Indulge and enjoy, on occasion. One night of indulgence every once in awhile will neither kill you nor will it 2. Rethink it. Don’t imbue your food kryptonite with so much power. Instead, stay conscious about it. On the days you 3. Come up.

2. Don’t go out of your way for kryptonite foods. Conversely, you may be someone who is super sensitive to being triggered by your kryptonite foods. In this case, you can choose to skip them altogether. Kryptonite foods may show up unexpectedly at a party, work event or family function.

Avoid foods that contain sulphur dioxide, sodium bisulfite, potassium metabisulfite, or sulfurous acid anhydride: basically, they all mean sulfites. This food preservative is used frequently. Keeping track of your food may help you notice patterns in your habits. For example, you may find you prefer eating chips or chocolate, so you can try keeping those items out of the house.

I honestly think they are one of the worst foods you could possibly eat.” These are typically high in sugar, trans fats, and low in. That means I’d need to stop eating by 7 o’clock—not so easy, but I was determined. (You can lose weight while still eating the foods you love. Start dropping pounds with The Fat Cell Solution.).

So I understand if you want to do it less, and can share some tips. For most of my clients, this is predominantly an evening issue. It might also happen on weekends when there is some unstructured time in your day, and it’s certainly also an issue in high stress jobs where food. The foods you eat can have a major effect on your weight.

Some foods, like full-fat yogurt, coconut oil and eggs, help with weight loss (1, 2, 3).. Other foods, especially processed and refined. Rather, the key is to master your psychology. You need to address the mental blocks that trigger overeating in the first place.

So let’s do it! Here are the top 10 reasons why you still want to eat when you’re full: 1. You’re dehydrated. The psychological causes of overeating can be a bit painful to look at.

So we’re going to start with.

  • OMG! These tips are so on point. Once I realized that true hunger is felt in my stomach, I learned that my mouth and eye hungers are false. This has helped me so much. Thanks.

  • These comments are sickening, I admit I myself as a overweight person have thought about starving myself but I pushed those dark thoughts aside. But these people acting like having a mental illness is cute or are like “lmao my parents would notice uhhh sis it really sucks out here ” are so annoying and disrespectful and enabling to those in the comments who have or are currently doing this. Stop it, get some help.

  • Thank you Dani this is very helpful. I realized most of my hunger is only in my mind. Will practice these techniques now. Drink more water when i have fake hunger.

  • Such a helpful video!!!
Two video tips: difference between full (from volume) and full (having enough energy). Secondsay to people that “more energy” from eating with taste hunger or just finishing the plate (doesnt mean eating past fullness) isnt harmful and our body knows how to deal and says us what needs.

  • Omg tell fast what to when u wanna eat something tasty but u are not feeling hungry or i will end up eating something watching this video side by side

  • Wow so funny, right before watching this video I started boiling my eggs to make egg salad, then I watch and it’s what you’re eating haha!! Best egg salad sandwich I’ve had, (whole wheat bread, Colby jack cheese, tomato, avocado, and egg salad with extra dill and pepper) and it was even better because I listened to my body when I became satisfied. I feel so much better about my body and have a way more healthy relationship with food now since beginning my intuitive eating journey and having no food rules.

  • Watching your videos feels like doing something really good for myself. I find your advice grounded in kindness and self-care. It’s what I’ve needed for a long time and I must be ready for it now. Thank you very much!!

  • It’s interesting to hear there are differing opinions of how long the elimination diet should last, because until watching this video I was led to believe it would be between 4-6 and 4-8 weeks long… Great break down video though, learned a lot about how the process really works so thank you ✌️ xoxo

  • this is exactly what i do:( right now i’m 17 & i am so underweight. i’m actually trying to get back to a healthy weight but i just can’t do it. i’m embarrassed that i have gotten so thin because my friends call me skeleton & people tell me they feel like they are going to break me because i’m so boney.

  • Wow I have been trying this, seriously was so disconnected I would just wake up and eat not even feeling real hunger only ate because it was “breakfast” tried this, this week and I honestly don’t get hungry till like 5 or 7pm thank you so much dani! Going to show my husband this so we can get reconnected together.

  • I just ate so much, i deliberately chose to make myself 4 trasts with ham on top of my tiny dinner plate I have to eat with my family. I just tried to throw up but I couldnt get much out and I feel so gross.

  • I have to ask, how often do you get stomach bugs? You REALLY should be washing your hands RIGHT before touching your food and not touching anything else like that strawberry container (imagine how many people had touched it at the store!) or the wooden table ( imagine how many dirty birds and squirrels crawl on that!).

  • so for a grown woman, 1,500 cal to loose a pound a week. what if im a teen and eating nothing a day? i should loose a ton more weight right? wrong. i havnt eaten in 37 days and have lost 15 pounds

  • Some small tips that might help if you want to lose weight:
    eat slowly
    sleep a lot
    drink a lot of water
    And the most important:
    Don’t starve yourselves!

  • I don’t want to look deathly skinny. I just want to be skinny. I feel like I would feel better about myself if I was skinny. It’s my one goal. It doesn’t matter how I lose it I just want it gone. I weigh 194 and I told myself I would never get to 200 or above. My goal is 150 but I would LOVE to be 130 or even 120.I’m doing a 7day water fasting and if all the hunger pains go away then I’ll just keep going till I end up how I want to look. I’ll workout on top of that. Only drink water and I will push through I need this. If I’m skinny I can finally wear a bikini in public. I’ll be able to wear crop tops, I can be the best me, the pretty me. I’m going into 9th grade so I’m going to highschool and I just wanna fit it. But at the same time I’m doing this for me not them I will push it to the limit and give all that I can give it. I’m starting Tuesday comment if you want to be updated

  • Okay am I the only one that watches videos to stop eating, but then it turns into a game on how long you can last with out eating.

  • If you.re a female and have kids and your roommates/ coworkers always steal your milk or coffee creamer, just write “breast milk” on the jugs

  • Bro I just don’t eat with my family. Like they don’t care, they give me space. Then when im alone I throw the food out… ‍♀️ I feel guilty of course

  • I benefited from this! I mean, I generally, with anything, have a black and white mindset, and have anxiety so it was SO easy to fall into the calorie counting body obsessed lifestyle, ( and I say lifestyle not eating style cause it takes up your whole life! ). For around 3 years I have been so messed up with body image and have such a hard time loving my body sometimes but with your videos and my family’s help, I’ve come a long way! Sometimes I feel like I HAVE to finish the meal so I don’t waste, and I want to get into the habit of being able to eat leftovers so I’m not so full. I’ll use these tips. Thanks!

  • I feel a whole torso hunger, from my mouth down to my intestines, and I can eat, and eat, and eat, and not really feel ‘full’, until the painful bloat sets in rather quickly.

  • coming from someone with a Ed,ppl would easily notice that your plate has hardly been touched and that’s also if you have a judge plate of food

  • Bro I just don’t eat with my family. Like they don’t care, they give me space. Then when im alone I throw the food out… ‍♀️ I feel guilty of course

  • i just hate how my best friend eats my food without asking he just takes it without asking and he will be angry if i dont give him some he’s a pain

  • Ive been starving myself for a month and a half now…and im trying to go for a year…its pretty easy being away from food…and when i get hungry i just drink water or chew gum…and if my parents cooks i just say im not hungry…and i avoid eating by sleeping all day so they don’t bother me…

  • For the last year I’ve been stuck in a binge purge cycle. If you include myself using exercising to purge its been over 4. However, in the last 2 weeks I’ve kicked vomiting and been using the gym. Thanksgiving rolls around. I lost all my progress. I just hate feeling this stuffed. I just eat like its an addiction. Its all I think about. Its like one part of me is set determinedly on losing weight and the other is just this mindless all consuming creature with teeth. I know once I go back to college and hit the gym again ill be fine. I know I’ll have a gym membership for December so the holidays won’t be as bad this year either. But I’m watching this video and mentally taking notes, preparing myself for times when I must eat around family or with other people at a time when I don’t want to eat. Food is a social interaction. When you get an ED you lose people. You lose yourself too. You isolate yourself because food truly is a social ritual that triggers other social rituals. They build on top of one another and when you cut off food, one day you find that the you curled up in the corner of your mind is now the you on the outside, curled up in the corner of your room.

I’m trying to get better. I truly hope that I won’t ever feel like I need to use this.

For the people just arriving, thinking you can control this?
    You goddamn can’t.
You think you’ll do it once? Maybe you won’t again for 2 weeks. Then you’ll try again and again, lying to yourself and thinking you know what you’re doing-that you can stop at any time. You can’t. Not by yourself. You get sicker and sicker unless you reach out and even then its a long journey.
    Don’t go down it.
The best decisions are the ones that don’t have immediate rewards. If you want to lose weight, work for it. Go to the gym. Eat healthy. Be around people who want to improve themselves so that they can be happier and stronger, not just to impress others.
The people I wanted to impress are gone now. What I did pushed them away or made me realize they were toxic. Find people who want you to flourish. Please.
If that doesn’t change your mind then know that I’m very close to developing an ulcer after just one year. Eating is painful and yet I continue to do it. My stomach fills with acid and air, burning my esophagus and my intestines. I lay on the floor in pain for hours. I go to bed wishing I could never eat again, not because i want to lose weight but because it hurts. Its agony. My teeth, which used to be one of my favorite things about me, are going.
Its been less than one year of this disease and all its done is making everything nightmarish.
Please don’t go down this path.

For those of you already on it with me? I wish you the best of luck. There is happiness coming soon. It lies in our choices. Choices become habits and habits become life styles. Its hard. So fucking hard. Just know that things do add up. Make enough good choices and we’ll make it out.

    Best of luck, all.

  • O I know I’m an emotional eater and I’m eating just because I want it. But if I don’t get it someone’s going to get bitch slapped or something is going to get broke.

  • Hi and thank you for your tips on how to not eat when you’re not hungry. But I’m starting to like food is addictive like smoking, they do hand in hand seems like with me. I’m a truck driver with diabetes,hbp,h-cholesterol, and found out that i have cancer in which I’m not or I don’t think I’m not really worried about
My main thing is eating so much even when I’m full watch my belly grow. Embarrassing, watch everybody o. The whole health kick thing and me look I g the way I do. I. Which in so.e ways is a good band wagon and in some ways not. Sorry to sound so negative but I’m not looking for sympathy just an answer why!? Thanks,

  • I tried this last night at my family’s big dinner before Ramadan and it works!
I didn’t eat SINGLE bite and no one’s noticed
I literally haven’t eaten for 2 days no joke just black coffee and water.
My parents always mock me for Turing to lose weight but now they’ll see.
    Edit: I’m 5’0 (152cm) and 125 pounds (58kg)

  • Ramadan starts tomorrow, which means my family won’t notice if I don’t eat so long as I hide from them during the morning and evening. And if they make me eat something I’ll use this as a technique and boom skinny fast

  • Im always like damm i kind of want some black bean noodles and 3 eggs right now and then im like no ill gain weight. I still go to the kitchen to eat them because I feel like if I dont eat it I will not fall asleep

  • You reminded me of the actual hunger feeling (run away on the streets haha). It is true however and thank you for reminding me and my stomach thanks you.

  • Your videos have me totally inspired! It’s so hard for me to get inspired to work out or eat healthy but I have literally binge watched your videos and it makes me want to completely redo my routines! Thank you!

  • How I keep people away from eatong my food:
    _
Step 1: Mark your territoryby using some saliva

Step 2: Put a sticker on whatever food with your name and a notice sign saying,”There is saliva on/in it”

Step 3: Make them see you put saliva on it to so you make them believe it

  • I was on diet for a year and it’s difficult to undo the mindset. It’s really helpful to know that I can stop whenever I’m no longer enjoying food and can come back to it whenever I want to. My hunger cues are messed up, so am using the hunger scales. The most difficult thing is not to feel guilty when eating a big chocolate cake, haven’t tried cheesy creamy pasta for a long time. I have inherited hypertension genes, and because I’m menopausal, I would need to be careful of what I eat. It’s difficult to balance between what I should/should not eat and what I want to eat.

  • People have to realise that hormones have a play in this. Leptin and grelin are hunger control hormones. Also if other hormones are out it could completely throw out your hunger hormones. Eg. thyroid. Get your hormones checked!

  • Your tip of slowing down when eating and really chewing your food as truly changed everything. Thank you so much for these AMAZING tips

  • I struggle to throw food out. For example, that sandwich would be too filling for me, but I’d finish it bc it wouldn’t save well. Suggestions?

  • now im 16 when i was 13 i start to eat 1 time a day i dont know why my stomach is fine with that in 15 i start miss eat in 1 day my doctor say its not normal but i didnt have problems

  • I eat healthier than anyone I’ve ever lived with (in that I eat A LOT of veg and fruit). So it usually isn’t a problem. Too many people like instant food, I refer to cook mine. Not even a health thing, just a flavour thing, but it works out great for me heh heh heh

  • i tried not to eat for 10 days last 2017, but in the 8th day, i nearly collapsed. i literally only relied on water for 8 days. after i almost collapsed, i tried to eat normally again but my stomach doesnt received the food i take and i only threw it all up. its until today, i cant eat lots of food in one meal because i just threw it all up. i also got an ulcer right after my 8 day no eating challenge

  • Thank you.i have anxiety and kind of worry to go hungry especially at work. This mindset will be a good exercise for an anxious person, maybe will help to spread it to other things in life.

  • Thanks Carrie, I have been on this program for almost a year and amazed how it has worked. I did have to enlist a dietitian, as I have IBS M and diabetes, having both is a hazard to say the least. It will be great when more of the medical community here is the USA start embracing this.

  • I am on diabetic med if I eat before I am truly hungry I end up sick..trying too learn my signals..thanks for information..my problem is other med will make me sick unless I eat something after taking med..any suggestions?what to do? Blessings.

  • 4:51
Dude that’s not even the tip of the iceberg, trying to forcibly force liquidized food down the throat was what they tried
Placing food in the cell, give me a break….

  • I had my dinner with you really enjoyed this video! Accessing how hungry you are beginning middle and end of the meal is such a good tip!!

  • my roomate im currently living with at my chicken parmasean gnochi, my butter mochi, my granola bars, pumpkin pie, curry, condiments, my other roomates pizza pretty much any thing that I have. I don’t know how to stop it.

  • i can’t do this, my family always has an eye on me. Every meal feels eternal, i feel depressed just by watching the food in front of me… it feels like i’m holding my breathe afterwards because of the guilty

  • This was very helpful I always tell people that I’m not hungry and I eat when I think about food: that’s the reason why I am overweight.
But it never occurred to me that I need to listen to the cues my body gives. I know it sounds stupid but no one told me how to identity hunger.

  • The whole thing no eating 7 days is just mental. No hunger during the whole time whatsoever just the wish to eat but not hunger itself.:)

  • A lot of people nowadays are working to find out the best method to lose weight. Then again, being able to find a diet plan that can work for you is hard to discover. A crucial factor you need to comprehend is that a diet is effective for one person may not operate for another. So you have to understand what your getting into before you begin one of these diets. This may give you enough info to learn if this really is something that is appropriate to your requirements. Read more here shorturl.at/fjtMU

  • In my opinion this program has the quickest results with the least effort, and it’s quite popular.

My sister and two of her friends look like totally different people now, to the point that it’s ridiculous! They swear by it.

  • Do you know you can loose up to 40 lbs in just three weeks without changing your life style, the way you eat or doing any exercise.. crazy right..yeah.. reply “how” and i will show you how…

  • My main issue is that sometimes i just think about food and want it, and i dont know how to stop myself from going and grabbing said food.

  • Thank you for this vid, I needed it! This weekend I’ve been snacking nonstop which I know is okay, but I’m finding myself not feeling the greatest because of it. Also, I loved that this video was a departure from your normal sit down videos, would love to see more like this in addition to more vlog style vids

  • Hey guys just checking in: have you eaten today? If not, please get up and eat something. You can do it and I will too, so let’s have a snack together also dont forget to drink some water and take a break from the internet

  • The sad thing is this actually works. I’ve done it at family meals and at skl where we literally had teachers sit at the tables with us cos a different teacher would come to the boarding house and sit with different year groups everyday for lunch and this works in front of every teacher who sat in front of me, i mean no one noticed.

  • Diabetics are a bit different though they must eat on some sort of schedule or so many times per day. I don’t eat anything for 3 hours after I get up because I’m not hungry and I wake up nauseous every day and food sounds gross. But 3 p.m.? I’m ready for my overnight oats or hot oatmeal or something a smoothie. I never used to eat until 9 p.m. at night and it was ramen noodles every single day for years. Then I went vegan and I am a much healthier happier human being! It works for me and whatever works for someone else should do what works for them.

  • I like this, really I do, I used to eat alot when I am not hungry
But now is different. Now I am forcing myself to eat.
Cause if I didn’t, this would my diet.
    3 Oreos
    1 ramen cup noodles
    1 Soda
    Water.

  • Kudos for the video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about Dinanlinson Trained Body Approach (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to control your metabolism to lose weight minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin at very last got amazing results with it.

  • Thank you for sharing wonderful thought, Dani!
I usual eat meals by time and schedule even if I am not hungry.
so I’ll try once to know if I am physically hungry or I feel like hungry by time.(o^.^o)

  • I am diagnosed with anorexia. But if I do this in front of my Asian parents, they would hella notice the leftovers. That’s kind of the number one rule in our household, no leftovers. Which is why I developed bulimia.

  • Why do you have so many problems? What’s wrong with you?! Why don’t you eat?! Is it made to catch some attention or are you just dumb? We all have problems, I have problems too, with my parents, boyfriend, friends, studies and also with myself cause I have dysphoria but Jeeez I surely don’t make things worse by not eating…why are you so stupid?

  • I feel a whole torso hunger, from my mouth down to my intestines, and I can eat, and eat, and eat, and not really feel ‘full’, until the painful bloat sets in rather quickly.

  • thank goodness never had to deal with roommates really except my bro at one time but he respects me to not take my food or at least ask first…

  • I just found your channel! I look forward to following your channel. I was checking out noom. I don’t have a weight problem. I just like to hear new ideas.

  • You could train yourself to eat and drink stuff people wouldn’t want to touch. You’d suffer at first, but learn to like it. When they go to get some they’d be grossed out and never touch it again. As for juice with no sugar, hide stevia or sugar packs in your room. Hopefully they won’t think of it.

  • This is honestly revolutionary and straight forward advice. I personally lost 50 lbs eating this way over only a couple of months. I hate being sweaty so exercise isn’t my cup of tea. When you said that you feel fake hunger more in your mouth than stomach that REALLY resonated with me. Because even though I have achieved this practice and have continued to maintain it for the last year that description has allowed me to now put into words the difference between these two feelings. The only thing I would add which I think is missing from much info about the “eating only when hungry” style of nutrition/weight loss is also portion control! If we are eating only when hungry but then eating too much at one time it will be such a long time till we feel hungry again that it becomes easier to justify eating when not hungry. So I would recommend that people also reduce your meal size portions to about 2/3 of normal (I just do this visually). You can substitute pretty much any amount of veggies to make up for the missing amount of your main meal if it makes you feel better mentally about the reduction in food. If you eat smaller portions, you will get hungry more frequently and therefore give yourself the opportunity and permission to indulge in the reward of food again! The biggest thing I have realized from eating this way is there is always more food. There will always be more opportunities to eat so we don’t need to eat so much at one time. Wait until we actually feel the need and then I promise you your food will also be 10x as satisfying and tasty than if you are just eating out of habit.:)

  • I had a roommate who would come into my room when I wasnt there and steal my chocolate, I started hiding it so she wouldnt find it and she would search through my stuff because she knew I always have chocolate on me. Notice how I specified that I HAD a roommate.

  • Wishing everyone who reads this and suffer from emotional eating/hunger because of stress/depression/anxiety/grief etc. I hope you’ll overcome this situation!

  • Watching your videos feels like doing something really good for myself. I find your advice grounded in kindness and self-care. It’s what I’ve needed for a long time and I must be ready for it now. Thank you very much!!

  • Thank you god those suggestions, I have a really sweat tooth so when I crave something sweet I either grab a peanut butter jelly sandwich but idk how health it’s that,

  • I really like what you said about it’s normal to eat past fullness I do this sometimes and sometimes i’m like “is this a binge?”

  • This was the perfect timing for me! This week I decided to give up dieting for good. My issue though is that I NEVER feel satisfied! Even when I’m physically full, I feel like I need more and more! Do you know why this is or have a blog post about it?

  • I had my dinner with you really enjoyed this video! Accessing how hungry you are beginning middle and end of the meal is such a good tip!!

  • Thank you for sharing wonderful thought, Dani!
I usual eat meals by time and schedule even if I am not hungry.
so I’ll try once to know if I am physically hungry or I feel like hungry by time.(o^.^o)

  • 1) use hunger scale before, after and durning meal
    2) look at your surroundings“am I in a distracting environment”
    3) mindfully eatdescribe your food to yourself as you eat + does the taste of the meal change as you eat?
    4) remind yourself you can always have more food, your eating intuitively and not restricting, #nofoodrules!!

It’s not ‘now or never’, you can have what you want, when you want

  • I’m a diebatic and I’m scared to feel hunger coz it also mean low suger in my blood so I eat too much and that also lead to a high amount of suger in my blood, I’m so frustrated plz if u have any kind of advice that will help me, don’t hesitate.

  • I have an issue where I can go hours without eating. Mostly if I miss my moment in the morning, when I feel hunger I won’t get hungry for the rest of the day and won’t feel it either. I can get sick and actually lose my appetite making it worse. I’ve gone to the doctors gotten tests done and nothing seems to be wrong

  • Real hunger is in the throat. Dr Furham nailed that one.. Your mouth will water when you’re hungry that’s real hunger not growling of the stomach.

  • Wow this is everything…..I am not kidding this needs to go viral. Everytime I feel hungry I’m going to watch this video this lady is so good at explaining this i have tired everything but I think this is going to work. I’ll let you guys know if this works

  • I haven’t ate in about 19-24 hours.. I’m getting gas bubbles in my stomach which is moving up to my chest which HURTS. But then again my parents don’t wanna feed me so it’s like…

  • What would you say to someone who has a compulsive eating problem not related to the physical feeling of being hungry? Like, I love food, I just love the way so many foods are so delicious and sometimes when it’s really good I just want to eat and eat no matter how full I feel. I can literally be sitting here thinking “ughhh I ate way too much my stomach hurts” and yet still feel like going back for seconds if it was something super yummy.

  • This was the perfect timing for me! This week I decided to give up dieting for good. My issue though is that I NEVER feel satisfied! Even when I’m physically full, I feel like I need more and more! Do you know why this is or have a blog post about it?

  • Great presentation. I’m going with it. I feel this applies to me. What are your thoughts on eating, if hunger comes at bedtime? && any more quick tips would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • left half of the fridge is mine, right half is urs. as always 1 thing on my half will be laced with cyanide. good luck.
    problem solved.

  • My doctor told me I had a eating disorder with eating too much.. But then I started starving myself and then they told me I’m anorexic then they just said I had depression..

  • Do you dye our hair?
You shouldn’t. You’ve got beautiful black eyes. Make them stand out by getting your hair back to your natural colour or even black.
Also keep your hair short, to neck length.

  • Omg tell fast what to when u wanna eat something tasty but u are not feeling hungry or i will end up eating something watching this video side by side

  • Can you do a video on your activewear? Where do you get your gym shorts, sports bra and leggings? Can you show us your favorite activewear And recommend us the best brands? Please mention if the bottoms are translucent, stretches and if the cloths doesn’t shrink. For tops, does your boobs bounce in your sports bra while working out? Are they high impact? I’m more into Fabletics right now. But I want to try something new

  • soooo happpy i started following you lately today is head on what i’m struggling your tips are my challenge for this week thanksss sweets

  • I am really stress. And even if im full i eat more. And theres my family telling me that im getting chubby but also they dont help me out

  • Wow this is everything…..I am not kidding this needs to go viral. Everytime I feel hungry I’m going to watch this video this lady is so good at explaining this i have tired everything but I think this is going to work. I’ll let you guys know if this works

  • I am on diabetic med if I eat before I am truly hungry I end up sick..trying too learn my signals..thanks for information..my problem is other med will make me sick unless I eat something after taking med..any suggestions?what to do? Blessings.

  • O I know I’m an emotional eater and I’m eating just because I want it. But if I don’t get it someone’s going to get bitch slapped or something is going to get broke.

  • I am feeling so hungry with my stomach growling after drinking water at 4 am lol. I feel sick and find it hard to go back to sleep right now. WEIGHT LOSS IS TORTURE!!!
I guess I’ll comfort myself by constantly repeating the statement “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” to myself until I feel better.

  • Oh, I am so happy I have found you!! I am trying to figure out if this is the problem I have. I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance but sometimes without eating gluten I still get the symptoms, although a lot less than I use to on a gluten diet. It’s interesting to hear you talk about all this.I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos!! thank you!

  • I haven’t ate since a day or two ago, it’s not that I have an eating disorder Atleast I don’t think I do. Yes I’m insecure about my body but I feel like that’s just about normal for everyone. I just haven’t been hungry, like the thought of food just sounds gross. Does this happen to anyone else?

  • OMG! These tips are so on point. Once I realized that true hunger is felt in my stomach, I learned that my mouth and eye hungers are false. This has helped me so much. Thanks.

  • That’s a big bottle of milk though, surely if you have a roommate/housemate you can share milk (or coffee or tea etc) and each put money towards it?

  • Get near to your roommate and pretend someone is talking to you on your phone and say “yeah….. I’m catching this pesky rat eating my food so i put poison on all of my food(w8 4 3 sec)yeah i didnt eat any of my food yet i just bought new ones(of course you have to buy new ones)we’ll see later if that pesky rat is dead” pretty sure hes gonna stop eating ur fud……… 100%

  • Appreciate video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you thought about Saffebbi Subconscious Smasher (probably on Google)? It is a great one off guide for discovering how to protect your family during a crisis without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my best friend Jordan got astronomical results with it.

  • Loved these tips! I also read a while back that there was a study finding that if you eat on a blue plate, you’re more likely to eat less. Not sure what the correlation between the color blue and eating less is, but might be worth trying? ‍♀️ We homeschool and work from home, so our kids always think they’re hungry, LOL! We keep fruit and veggies for them. We tell them if they’re really hungry, they can have that or water. They don’t need chips or candy if they’re “hungry.” My kryptonite is definitely the wine , margaritas, or chocolate cake! I not to keep it in the house so I don’t have to resist it. But we have three birthdays in April, so life is hard for me right now, LOL! God bless you! Thanks for your honesty and the tips!

  • Using this situation, in order to figure out whether or not it has actually been stolen… (this works for any liquid or food that has a see-through container, like milk or strawberries). However, may not work that well for blueberries or strawberries, it just depends on if they took a lot or not, a SMART vulture will NOT take a lot. It’s too noticeable. Okay, just take photos. It should work best with milk or any drink like lemonade kept inside a clear pitcher.

  • Great video again, thanks Katie! I am going to be really cheeky and ask if you might be doing a discount on the meal plan soon? I would love the hbmp and guiltless nutrition but my partner isn’t currently getting paid due to covid. I hope you don’t think I’m being too cheeky for asking!

Thanks!

  • What should you eat when you waited too long to eat? I’m so famished at that point, I want to eat everything and it seems to take more to satisfy me. I know the obvious that I shouldn’t wait too long to eat but sometimes I don’t realize how long it has been since my last meal.

  • I wish I saw this video when you made it. I did terrible during this quarantine period. I picked up so much weight that I’m really trying to loose now

  • Great video! Not sure if you have covered this before, but any chance you could discuss inflammatory food and how they affect the body (i.e. hunger, digestion, etc)? Very interested to get your views on dairy, for example.

  • Hey! Yeah, you there! Do I have a solution for you? Introducing, the all new and improved method to prevent your roommates from eating your food. Just lick your food and put it in storage. When your roommates eats your food then tell them what you did to it. They will stop for a very long time. Sounds gross but your basically doing the same thing when you eat your food. Not satisfied? No worries! Just do the same to your roommate’s food. I purposely sounded like a commercial add just to annoy you.

  • Doing intermittent fasting helps me control myself, because i ate out of boredom. Also drinking like 2.5 liters of water is a great way to eat as much as i need, cuz sometimes I’m just thirsty and not hungry. Aaan, because I’m currently dieting to lose some extra pounds, I’ve told myself I can have NOT a cheat day, but a day of the week, when I’m gonna eat things like cookies, waffles, pancakes, all healthy and homemade, cuz i looove cooking. Againnot cheat meals, but treats, and not to overeat with them. This works for me!

  • Stopped eating for a week. Here is what happened:

Must have been one of the best weeks of my life. I felt amazing.
I lost 8kg (you do gain them back quickly tho) so those who are thinking of doing this in order to lose weight…
    …not going to work.
    I was very focused
I went for a jog everyday but kept it short (2-3km)
    needed more sleep
    chewed a lot of gum
drank much more water than I’d normally do

I will do this again but I think you should plan to take a break of at least 2 months between fasting weeks.

Thanks,

  • What should you eat when you waited too long to eat? I’m so famished at that point, I want to eat everything and it seems to take more to satisfy me. I know the obvious that I shouldn’t wait too long to eat but sometimes I don’t realize how long it has been since my last meal.

  • Great video! Not sure if you have covered this before, but any chance you could discuss inflammatory food and how they affect the body (i.e. hunger, digestion, etc)? Very interested to get your views on dairy, for example.

  • I just discovered you on YouTube and I’m so inspired! If I want more information on the eating plan you mentioned where should I go? Keep making videos Girl!! I need motivation!! Thank you!

  • It’s really hard because I am a college student so when I am at school I can buy my own groceries and control what I eat. but now since we had to leave our residencies and come live at home, I can’t control what my parents buy and what I eat as much. I don’t really know what to do!

  • Thank you Dani this is very helpful. I realized most of my hunger is only in my mind. Will practice these techniques now. Drink more water when i have fake hunger.

  • If you don’t have much time:
    1. If you think you’re hungry, but you’re not really sure, you’re most likely not actually hungry
    2. Learn what real hunger feels like for your body
    3. Try locating where your feeling of hunger is in your body
However, I would recommend watching the whole video, since it’s very informative and easy to understand

  • Great video thanks for the tips! You are awesome! Thank you for being so real. Quick question what brand are you wearing?? Your sport bra and shorts are ADORABLE!!!

  • You skipped the long fat burning period between ketosis and muscle wasting. This fat burning period can last for weeks. BTW increases in human growth hormone protect against muscle protein being used as fuel. You didn’t do your research very well.

  • I had a roommate who would come into my room when I wasnt there and steal my chocolate, I started hiding it so she wouldnt find it and she would search through my stuff because she knew I always have chocolate on me. Notice how I specified that I HAD a roommate.

  • left half of the fridge is mine, right half is urs. as always 1 thing on my half will be laced with cyanide. good luck.
    problem solved.

  • How to stop that “mouth hunger” craving.
    1. Drink a few gulps of cold water. Identify did I feel that cold water go into my stomach? I think most of us know that feeling it’s actually not super pleasant. If you feel it, then you might actually be hungry and should eat. If you don’t feel it, don’t eat but drink more water!
    2. Brush your teeth an tung (especially near the back).
    4. Chew gum
    5. Portion control is everything. If you are trying to loose weight then reduce your portions at every meal to about 2/3 of what you would normally eat. This is so easy because I promise you will still be satiated after this amount. If you are over weight it is because you are eating too much clearly (unless an underlying medical problem). This is the hardest thing to accept (I lost 50 lbs after I accepted this and followed these practices). As the weeks go on and your body adjusts, you may even be able to reduce your portions even more to about 1/2 of the original but find yourself eating more frequently through out the day due to actual hunger. This is what we want!
    6. If you are going to snack on something unhealthy portion control! Instead of having a whole piece of cake only have 2/3 or 1/2 of what would have been normal for you before. This works with every food. Normally eat a whole bag of chips in one sitting? Portion only 2/3 or 1/2 of that into a SEPARATE container to eat.
    7. Proteins and fats are our friends sugar, artificial sugars, and grease are our enemies. If you eat a diet high in the enemy foods your hunger may feel debilitating. I personally feel sick, nauseous and headachy. So much so you will eat all the time to avoid this. At the point, I usually only experience that type of debilitating hunger during and after a vacation where I have eaten out constantly (I normally eat primarily home-made food). I don’t know how it works but it does. When you eat a friendly food diet instead your hunger will come on much more slowly, not feel so bad, and be much more manageable if you can’t eat right at this moment.
    8. Always carry ONE healthy emergency snack on you at all times (in your purse, bag, or car). I usually have a mandarin orange, because it is enough to get me through the next 30 mins to 1 hour when I need it without feeling hungry if I can’t eat a meal right away. And oranges are amazingly transportable.

Once again I lost 50 lbs and have kept it off. I feel so free and all I had to do was listen to my body.:) I wish someone had spelled this out to me at an earlier age.

  • thank.you.so.much. i don’t care about these other youtube videos,i’m fat and i don’t like it so i will simply at least go on a water fast

  • Thank you so much for this little talk-I truly appreciate it. We have all this Easter candy laying around our house, so that is my issue that I am dealing with. Not so much the chocolate (believe it or not), but the cotton candy. Ahh! The good news is it is almost gone. The bad news is..I ate it. Anywho…I was just thinking about you and I had this thought…I think you are pregnant! Cravings, emotional…ya know. Maybe?!! LOL…just a thought that crossed my mind.:0)

  • Real hunger is in the throat. Dr Furham nailed that one.. Your mouth will water when you’re hungry that’s real hunger not growling of the stomach.

  • The calorie in vs out theory has really come under fire as of late and has been driven towards insulin being the marker of weight gain and loss, and there is a lot of data coming forth that backs that theory. There is more I disagree with in this video because dealt with massive weight loss and weight gain with a calorie deficit in place, but yet still gaining weight. I stay at an average from 1900 to 2300 calories a day. What I did was not reduce my calories any more, I changed the calories or macros. Not necessarily a keto, but 50% fat and 25% carbs and protein. This has helped me actually start to lose fat and weight, because of how your fat cells are programmed which is driven by insulin. Two references would the the Always Hungry book by Dr. David Ludwig and the Obesity Code by Jason Fung.

  • I really want to stop eating my own mom tells me I’m fat…right now as I walked past her she said “let’s see if I’m school you loose weight” and tbh she is right i am very fat… I’ve been thinking of only drinking water nothing of eating just drinks water

  • I hide things in a large oatmeal canister. Stuff like pop tarts trail mix fruit snacks cookies or whatever can fit. Most food thieves dont want your oatmeal that is not instant and unflavored.

  • Du bist eine wunderschöne Frau hast eine tolle Ausstrahlung und eine top Figur, ich wünsche dir weiterhin viel Erfolg und alles Liebe und gute

  • People commenting saying ‘nah i could never cause my mom would notice’ don’t realize how lucky they are. I’ve had an eating disorder that started in gr3 and I’m now 25 and even after I’ve told my mom and sister, they still barely notice when my weight goes up and down 20pounds and I’m screaming for help.

  • This was helpful. I’ve noticed that when I finish a workout, that pushes my hunger or cravings aside. I want to challenge myself to do 10 minutes of some kind of workout before going for the snack. And maybe I won’t crave it after!

  • Some small tips that might help if you want to lose weight:
    eat slowly
    sleep a lot
    drink a lot of water
    And the most important:
    Don’t starve yourselves!

  • I start crying watching this again, I was in a dark place back then, and I am thankful and I wish I would never be there again. I’m still struggling sometimes but not as when I did back then

  • I am in the process of getting diagnosed, I just got put on Meds for it. And I feel lost. I have been vegetarian for two years, I don’t eat eggs and pretty much any dairy. But my diet mostly consists of beans and fruits and veggies, so I honestly have no idea what I can even eat! I’m so glad I found your channel! I am hoping it can help me understand how to live with this while maintaining my pretty much vegan life.

  • The sad thing is my parents don’t give a fuck. You can say they do but they don’t. For example:
My brother is 17 he doesn’t eat much and my parents constantly try to get him to eat food.
I am 13 and my parents don’t care whether I’ve eaten today or not, in fact sometimes they tell me stuff like: “well if you wanna loose weight you can do this or do that”
    I hate life

  • These comments are sickening, I admit I myself as a overweight person have thought about starving myself but I pushed those dark thoughts aside. But these people acting like having a mental illness is cute or are like “lmao my parents would notice uhhh sis it really sucks out here ” are so annoying and disrespectful and enabling to those in the comments who have or are currently doing this. Stop it, get some help.

  • When you felt the need to explain what real hunger is, it sounded so strange that people apparently don’t know when they’re truly hungry. Doesn’t everybody feel it the same way: your stomach is empty and it starts, not aching, but close to it? I can pinpoint almost the exact moment when all food is digested in my stomach and I thought everybody can. It’s not rocket science

  • The longest I went with no food was 3 days! But I haven’t eaten real food all week I’ve just eaten one packet of crisps or ice cream or a milkshake each day

  • Ramadan starts tomorrow, which means my family won’t notice if I don’t eat so long as I hide from them during the morning and evening. And if they make me eat something I’ll use this as a technique and boom skinny fast

  • Okay am I the only one that watches videos to stop eating, but then it turns into a game on how long you can last with out eating.

  • When you felt the need to explain what real hunger is, it sounded so strange that people apparently don’t know when they’re truly hungry. • Cinnamon buns. (B/c my kids have been wanting cinnamon bun waffles. Now it’s killing me with the craving. At night I either want a PB/J or avocado toast. Are those bad to eat before bed

  • 4 days is my record:) I never felt better. I do it every month and Lord, this is magic! It’s only hard in your head because often it’s your brain that tricks you into eating because food is tempting but belive me you can overcome it and level of energy that you gonna have is unimaginable and also it promotes authophagy so your body heals it self

  • Hi Colleen! Love your content!! I did Have a question I’m not sure if you can answer. I was in inpatient and outpatient treatment for an eating disorder a few years ago and a rule we had was that we had to eat everything on our plate no matter what. But now, years later, I have so much trouble NOT eating everything. Even when I think I’m full. I guess it’s become like a habit? But it stresses me out any time I don’t leave any food cause I feel like I over ate, or if I leave food because i think I did something wrong. Any tips??

  • Do you dye our hair?
You shouldn’t. You’ve got beautiful black eyes. Make them stand out by getting your hair back to your natural colour or even black.
Also keep your hair short, to neck length.

  • If you.re a female and have kids and your roommates/ coworkers always steal your milk or coffee creamer, just write “breast milk” on the jugs

  • Thank you for this video! I’ve been working on paying more attention to hunger cues lately and it’s definitely making a difference. I was raised in the ‘clean your plate’ club so it’s hard to adjust that mentality but I’m getting there. Hubby and I went out for dinner and dessert the other night and, after eating about half of my sorbet, I realized I was completely full and satisfied. I got to enjoy my dinner and have some dessert and I felt good about it! Thank you for all of the no food rules reminders it’s awesome!!

  • The longest time i haven’t eat is 2-3 days because my throat was sore. And i got really sick it hurts to drink even water so at that time i didn’t eat.

  • That is a horrible advice because it doesn’t work if you’re with people who are actually conversationally skilled. You’d end up annoying them with abrupt and boring conversational changes just to poorly hide that you’re not taking a bite. Not to mention, they’d easily see that you almost have all the food left on your plate and saying that “you’re so full” just queues that you have an eating disorder. Your best bet is just to say you had eaten something beforehand and can only take a few bites just for taste, and then order a big glass of your favorite zero-calorie beverage to sip for pauses.

  • There are Different types of apps out there that tell me what my calories should be for the day. Some tell me more and others are less calories. They all seem to be different. How do I go about deciding which one is right for me. HELP

  • I would simply demand the money for everything they ate or steal it if they refused.
If it isn’t yours, don’t fucking eat it.
If that doesn’t work, I’d just start rubbing capsaicin on stuff until they got the message.

  • Thank you.i have anxiety and kind of worry to go hungry especially at work. This mindset will be a good exercise for an anxious person, maybe will help to spread it to other things in life.

  • I cut up my food a lot and move it around if I have a lot and I’m eating with others. I have a small appetite and my family know this so if I eat a few small bites and cut it up and play with it. In twenty minutes it can look like half is gone and I’ll say I’m full. Works at every restaurant I go to with family

  • I start crying watching this again, I was in a dark place back then, and I am thankful and I wish I would never be there again. I’m still struggling sometimes but not as when I did back then

  • I liked it when she explained her psychological hunger in her stomach vs. her emotional hunger in her mouth. I related to that a lot

  • Thanks for sharing this info, so there are many of us who struggle with how to control craving (eat / overeat when you are not hungry, just the lust / craving for certain food which are usually unhealthy). I find it to be helpful to eat based on my biological clock (eat before I get too hungry, then it’s much less likely tend over eat).

  • its time for glow up summer people. i just put a timer for 75 hours. gonna try to not eat! lets see the results. btw yes i am overweight. bye a few pounds. i will try to lose all my weight and become healthy. i will also try to do exercise to lose at leats a few extra pounds. im not really ashamed of my weight but some people ik are doing it so, its kinda a challenge for me.:D

  • I like that you gave us some good tips for staying healthy during these times BUT when talking about rewarding yourself with a snack after doing a workout, or “challenge,” is a very unhealthy mindset to have. You do not need to do anything to earn your food. You as a human deserve the food, you do not need to force yourself to do a workout in order to feel okay about eating something. Our bodies tell us when we need food so it is important to listen to our bodies and eat when we are feeling hungry and not ignore our cues and put the feeling of hunger into a reward

  • What about stress of eating those “leftovers” from the meal you were satisfied with. I get anxiety trying to incorporate those scraps into a new meal—thinking it’s not balanced and etc.

  • I’ve already gained 4kg during quarantine, and I’ve been trying to lose the pounds for 4 weeks now. My problem is that I know I’m not hungry but I overeat literally at every meal:(
just out of boredom or procrastination

  • Great video, lots of knowledge, well done! I do have a question: I did low FODMAP diet and the only thing I can’t seem to handle is really any red onion and garlic at all. Should I just avoid these forever or? I’ve been avoiding using red onion, pretty easy, and to get around the garlic issue, I’ve been using garlic infused oil. Thanks for your help!

  • I don’t even less I’m hungry but many many years ago I would eat because my mother abused me and it made me feel better. I no longer do that and my health has gotten much better over the years! I really stop and say are you hungry really or are you thirsty or does your blood sugar feel low? I would be interested to know what your qualifications are as you said that you work with clients. No my appetite doesn’t signal my brain that I’m hungry because I have no appetite very rarely do I feel hunger. It is not a good thing and sometimes I eat just because I know I need to. • Too late I ate my whole house already! I don’t drink thank the lord or drugs but I love my treats! Chocolate chips, pudding, candy, ect… great ideas though, I needed this!! The quarantine 15 is real!!

  • I’ve been neglecting fruit during this quarantine, and I too have a big appetite too because before quarantine, I would say I live a pretty active lifestyle, but what has curbed my hunger, and sweet tooth is to have a small apple after my meal.. so simple but hey.. it works ‍♀️ instead of ransacking the cupboards and fridge after my meal like a crazy person. Lol

  • I watched one of your recent video, and I noticed you had mentioned something about hyperthyroidism, because I just found out last week that my sister had gotten diagnosed with the same disease. She had mentioned that was always hungry, and was eating soo much but not gaining any weight. I wonder if that was contributing to your hunger besides living a very active lifestyle

  • Cheese, chips, olives, more chips, ice cream, popsicles, candy, etc.. Usually my mom helps me by packing healthy lunches and snacks with lots of protein and nutrients. Now, I eat so many chips!?

  • This is just what I needed to listen to. When I think about the times I want to eat it is more in my mouth than my stomach.. Also I have always heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day shouldn’t we be eating it?

  • So a trick I have been trying is, if Iwant a snack I allow my self crunchy veg or fruit first then if it’s still on my mind I have a big glass of water.usually by then the snack craving has subsided. Find I am craving more booze though so I’m not buying it!

  • Okaythe small bowl/plate trick totally works!!! Loved this video. I definitely needed to get these tips and omg HANGER BOMBS SO GOOD! I love your little minis and the thin layer of chocolate going to work on moving some of my healthier options forward into my line of vision. You’re the best!! (@corkygetsfit)

  • I hide things in a large oatmeal canister. Stuff like pop tarts trail mix fruit snacks cookies or whatever can fit. Most food thieves dont want your oatmeal that is not instant and unflavored.

  • Im always like damm i kind of want some black bean noodles and 3 eggs right now and then im like no ill gain weight. I still go to the kitchen to eat them because I feel like if I dont eat it I will not fall asleep

  • Love this video, I needed this so much! I’ve been feeling off my game and this will help me get back on track to finish SSD!! ❤
    @amyl_lsf

  • I took quarantine as an opportunity to start working out, but then i started to feel more hungry wich is relatively good since i domt feel hungry at allllll during the whole day but the problem is i start over eating even if im not hungry i just can’t shut my mouth and i start to fell heavy and im afraid to lose weight since my metabolism is so freaking slow

  • What about stress of eating those “leftovers” from the meal you were satisfied with. I get anxiety trying to incorporate those scraps into a new meal—thinking it’s not balanced and etc.

  • I really like what you said about it’s normal to eat past fullness I do this sometimes and sometimes i’m like “is this a binge?”

  • I am diagnosed with anorexia. But if I do this in front of my Asian parents, they would hella notice the leftovers. That’s kind of the number one rule in our household, no leftovers. Which is why I developed bulimia.

  • I cut up my food a lot and move it around if I have a lot and I’m eating with others. I have a small appetite and my family know this so if I eat a few small bites and cut it up and play with it. • Great tips!!! The first one I plan to use is putting the healthy foods up front where they are visible and the non healthy foods in the back of the fridge/cabinet. While watching this video I jotted down some good snacks I forgot I had. (We have bought a lot of food since the quarantine so we don’t have to shop so often, but consequently some of the good food got pushed to the back. Not anymore!) Thank you!!!

  • bhagat singh killed the british official who killed numerous innocent indians….we are proud of him. And his hunger strike was not to get relief from manual labour…it was for newspapers and books and proper hygiene to be provided to him.

  • coming from someone with a Ed,ppl would easily notice that your plate has hardly been touched and that’s also if you have a judge plate of food

  • To everybody with an eating disorder YOU WILL GET BETTER &
YOU WILL BE HAPPIER YOU WILL BE HAPPY ❤️

  • Carrie, I just found your channel! Just subscribed, I relate to this so much, thank you so much for sharing these types of videos!!

  • Ive been starving myself for a month and a half now…and im trying to go for a year…its pretty easy being away from food…and when i get hungry i just drink water or chew gum…and if my parents cooks i just say im not hungry…and i avoid eating by sleeping all day so they don’t bother me…

  • I feel like she’s also one of the few Youtubers that I watch the videos all the way through for:) She is so informative and helpful.

  • We are all craving comfort foods so much right now! I have been buying and eating things I normally NEVER would! I said to my husband “When do you EVER hear me ask you to buy GF cookies?? Don’t listen to me anymore… just say no!!”:P I decided I have to clean out my cupboards and get back to my healthy habits. I think making healthy homemade twists on both savory and sweet comfort foods is the way to go. It feels better to nurture ourselves and families by putting the time and effort and love and healthy ingredients into prepping and cooking, and we can comfort in a much healthier way. This is what I normally do but have allowed my anxiety and stress and fear and boredom to interfere during this pandemic. (For instance, I made banana bread which I normally don’t do unless it is for a special occasion, and even though I subbed the sugar with coconut sugar and cut the amount in half, I loaded it with chocolate chips!!) Time to get back to my healthy ways and as usual I reach for your inspiration Katie! I wish I could live at your house for a while lol. Thank you so much. ♥️♥️

  • Just this last week was tough as I was celebrating a bit as we are heading back to work on Monday. The best thing I learned to do is go with the portion size. Never grab a bag or box and just scarf it all down. So I get a bowl or napkin and take the portion size, usually that is all I really wanted anyways.

  • My main issue is that sometimes i just think about food and want it, and i dont know how to stop myself from going and grabbing said food.

  • That’s a big bottle of milk though, surely if you have a roommate/housemate you can share milk (or coffee or tea etc) and each put money towards it?

  • Great tips it’s like you’re already in my brain. Would love to see more plant based protein options. Dozens of meat packing plants have closed down over the last month due to outbreaks. Workers can’t get the social distancing they need due to loud machinery and number of animals needing to get “processed”. Would love to see what you think about Beyond Meat or organic non GMO tempeh.

  • Those damn chips I started dipping Utz rippled bbq chips in onion dip my favorite soda is Coke Zero sugar but once in awhile zevia gingerrootbeer I’ve been cooking more

  • People have to realise that hormones have a play in this. Leptin and grelin are hunger control hormones. Also if other hormones are out it could completely throw out your hunger hormones. Eg. thyroid. Get your hormones checked!

  • I Currently Feel Super Fat, So I’m Gonna Try This For… 5 Or 10 Months Maybe?
But Yeah, Nothings Wrong! I Just Feel Fatter Then Anyone…

  • Thankyou so much for this. I was hospitalised with severe ibs pain, the doctor I saw had never heard of Fodmaps and told me to eat some toast and a banana!
I’m on day 4 of Low FODMAP and I feel much “cleaner” already.
Thanks for this video and your explanations x

  • Macadamias and different kind of nuts! I’m obsessed and now my husband is too.. which sucks ’cause now I have to share my “healthy” snacks with him. I know they are supposed to be very healthy but I tend to overeat them.. I get addicted!!

  • It is very hard for me to meal prep as I have a fussy eater daughter that does not eat food from the night before. So I will need to get very creative…. thanks for the advice Katy!!!

  • my roomate im currently living with at my chicken parmasean gnochi, my butter mochi, my granola bars, pumpkin pie, curry, condiments, my other roomates pizza pretty much any thing that I have. I don’t know how to stop it.

  • Thanks for helpful video. I would like to know if it is possible, if there are to many foods to avoid, to bring them back after certain period or we need to avoid them until the end of our lives? Could these bacteria be somehow starved and permanently eliminated or not?

  • I struggle to throw food out. For example, that sandwich would be too filling for me, but I’d finish it bc it wouldn’t save well. Suggestions?

  • I’ve gained so much and I’m still working full time “bank teller” just stressed from all the exposure to people. Way too many sweets and alcohol. Thank you for the suggestions

  • i got myself a mini fridge with a lock
i set the fridge in my roommates room with a sign that said “frozen snickers inside. do not touch”
    i filmed the agony
    it was beautiful

  • You should just rename this “stay at home parent survival tactics” I’ve been a stay at home parent for 3 yrs and these are ALL of my temptations. Thanks for posting!

  • Being at home has thankfully helped me start my health journey wierd enough. I have time to workout and make healthier food.but chips are my weakness.

  • I went a week without eating after getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, along with big chunks of bone from my jaw (hence the long recovery time). After this experience, my body feels like it physiologically changed in response to hunger, in that I feel my body go into fight or flight mode whenever I get real hungry, and I can tell it’s my body’s way of trying to prevent me from going that long without food again. It’s not fun, and it made me gain a ton of weight, as even feeling slightly hungry resulted in me totally freaking out for a long time. I’ve slowly been getting back to normal (after about 4 years of this).

  • thank goodness never had to deal with roommates really except my bro at one time but he respects me to not take my food or at least ask first…

  • I am so so so grateful for this helpful video. I had to attend a dinner with family members whose idea of food safety is that it doesn’t matter.
I had to watch one relative (who is being treated for clostridium difficile) slice meat and lick their fingers, placing the meat on a tray to serve others. I knew things would be bad like they’ve always been, but this year i needed a way to eat NOTHING and still seem “normal.” Thanks to this video I had only water for Christmas dinner and nothing else. No one even noticed! I did the food cutting thing, cutting into in normal size pieces, the extra talking, the giving of food off my plate to someone else, all of it! Worked so well! I had zero appetite after all the different unsanitary behaviors of the cooks in the family.
And please note, everyone present knew about the c. diff. infected person and watched everything happening and didn’t care one bit, even though they all are beginning to be experiencing symptoms as well.
I came home to wash all my clothes, clean off the spores, and to just forget about eating anything for a long time. All I can do is pray I dont get it, but with the help from this video at least I avoided one transmission form. Thank you, thank you!!

  • When I lived with my roommate, I would constantly pour vinegar into the milk. When I wanted milk, I’d just go to my mini fridge under my bed, or id have a separate bag hidden somewhere. It kinda scared my roommate so much that she eventually stopped. Now I never find an empty bag of milk put back in the fridge! This works.

  • Wishing everyone who reads this and suffer from emotional eating/hunger because of stress/depression/anxiety/grief etc. I hope you’ll overcome this situation!

  • I am really stress. And even if im full i eat more. And theres my family telling me that im getting chubby but also they dont help me out

  • Thanks for cheerleading us to keep healthy! The tips remind me. I’m going to see if my fridge and shelves have changed and need a rebootthanks!

  • You reminded me of the actual hunger feeling (run away on the streets haha). It is true however and thank you for reminding me and my stomach thanks you.

  • This was very helpful I always tell people that I’m not hungry and I eat when I think about food: that’s the reason why I am overweight.
But it never occurred to me that I need to listen to the cues my body gives. I know it sounds stupid but no one told me how to identity hunger.

  • WOW THIS IS SO GOOD. I just watched this instead of eating a snack that I honestly knew I didn’t even want but probably just wanted to stress eat. I so appreciate your channel.

  • I liked it when she explained her psychological hunger in her stomach vs. her emotional hunger in her mouth. I related to that a lot

  • I’m a diebatic and I’m scared to feel hunger coz it also mean low suger in my blood so I eat too much and that also lead to a high amount of suger in my blood, I’m so frustrated plz if u have any kind of advice that will help me, don’t hesitate.

  • What has worked for me when I feel hungry is I’ll go to the fridge and see apples I got and if I don’t want to eat the apple then I’m not really hungry and I I’ll force myself to leave the kitchen. Seeing healthy snacks first definitely helps!

  • Great presentation. I’m going with it. I feel this applies to me. What are your thoughts on eating, if hunger comes at bedtime? && any more quick tips would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • WOW THIS IS SO GOOD. I just watched this instead of eating a snack that I honestly knew I didn’t even want but probably just wanted to stress eat. I so appreciate your channel.

  • Another trick I like to use that is similar to what you shared about going & doing a mini workout challenge before having a treat or snack. I like to just go do SOMETHING first before snacking, not necessarily a workout. This helps me not to snack just because I’m bored or because someone else in the house is snacking. Things I might do include: water my flowers, read a magazine or book, check email, call a friend or family member, go check the mailbox, wash the dishes or do some other cleaning task, or some type of exercise activity like you mentioned.

    Love your tips! Thanks!

  • I like this, really I do, I used to eat alot when I am not hungry
But now is different. Now I am forcing myself to eat.
Cause if I didn’t, this would my diet.
    3 Oreos
    1 ramen cup noodles
    1 Soda
    Water.

  • I really want to stop eating my own mom tells me I’m fat…right now as I walked past her she said “let’s see if I’m school you loose weight” and tbh she is right i am very fat… I’ve been thinking of only drinking water nothing of eating just drinks water

Any tips??

  • Your information is really helpful. After watching this video, I could sense what is real is hunger and what is mouth hunger (Emotional Hunger)….I could sense it and I have ability to stop over eating now. But few people couldn’t stop due to their addition towards mouth hunger. They may need Hypnotist or Psychologist to fix their minds. If you have videos for tools to fix how to stop eating in emotional hunger, please share it. Thanks for great information.

  • thank.you.so.much. i don’t care about these other youtube videos,i’m fat and i don’t like it so i will simply at least go on a water fast

  • This is just what I needed to listen to. When I think about the times I want to eat it is more in my mouth than my stomach.. Also I have always heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day shouldn’t we be eating it?

  • i just hate how my best friend eats my food without asking he just takes it without asking and he will be angry if i dont give him some he’s a pain

  • I love the tips especially taking your time eating! Keep up the good work. I am so glad I found you and you always have good and healthy information.your videos are very informative.
    Thanks

  • I would simply demand the money for everything they ate or steal it if they refused.
If it isn’t yours, don’t fucking eat it.
If that doesn’t work, I’d just start rubbing capsaicin on stuff until they got the message.

  • I just ate so much, i deliberately chose to make myself 4 trasts with ham on top of my tiny dinner plate I have to eat with my family. I just tried to throw up but I couldnt get much out and I feel so gross.

  • The sad thing is my parents don’t give a fuck. You can say they do but they don’t. For example:
My brother is 17 he doesn’t eat much and my parents constantly try to get him to eat food.
I am 13 and my parents don’t care whether I’ve eaten today or not, in fact sometimes they tell me stuff like: “well if you wanna loose weight you can do this or do that”
    I hate life

  • I Currently Feel Super Fat, So I’m Gonna Try This For… 5 Or 10 Months Maybe?
But Yeah, Nothings Wrong! I Just Feel Fatter Then Anyone…

  • i got myself a mini fridge with a lock
i set the fridge in my roommates room with a sign that said “frozen snickers inside. do not touch”
    i filmed the agony
    it was beautiful

• i can’t do this, my family always has an eye on me. Every meal feels eternal, i feel depressed just by watching the food in front of me… it feels like i’m holding my breathe afterwards because of the guilty

  • I just found your channel! I look forward to following your channel. I was checking out noom. I don’t have a weight problem. I just like to hear new ideas.
