Buy organic meat, eggs, and dairy if you can afford to. While prominent organizations such as the American Heart Association maintain that eating saturated fat from any source increases the risk of heart disease, other nutrition experts maintain that eating organic grass-fed meat and organic dairy products doesn’t carry the same risks. To ease into the organic food niche, you can start an organic subscription box.

To start off, you need to get a website with good following, then you pick what you are going to be delivering. • This is laughable propaganda. A recent study in JAMA showed that eating organic lowered the chances of getting many kinds of cancer by 25%. THINK FOR YOURSELF!

  • Cancer, diabetes and a myriad of other maladies come from somewhere…  Monsanto and Agenda 21 have a plan for you: GMO. In the next 50 years, the population of the world will be less tan 50% of that of today’s. The plan is working really well. Soylent Green IS NOT going to be a reality…

  • Diet Plan called Custokebon Secrets kept appearing here on many videos and I thought they were scams. However after my cousin follow it, and finally lost a lot of weight by using it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. Don’t take my own word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on google.

  • The chemicals used for producing organic food are way worse than the others. Thats because organic crops are harder to grow anyways which pollutes the soil much more. They DO use that shit is because laws do not allow them to use the “cutting edge” technology that is in fact much more eco-friendly. Most of the things in this video are bullshit. Also real organic food shouldnt be looking that good. Its just  a common misunderstanding that if its organic its better. Thats total bullshit.

  • I have only one problem on eating healthy money
I don’t know maybe if I had money I would have eaten mostly unhealthy food too
I do it only 3 4 Times a year total unhealthy food

  • How about citing just 1 scientific article when answering that kind of question? You are basicly just saying what you think is “scary” about stuff like bacteria, without explaining why it’s bad. You are just treating it like a “bad word”. You have massive gaps in your knowledge on the subject.

  • The real question is, is that “Organic” label “Truly Organic” or just a marketing ploy that companies use to simply charge more since people think its better.

  • Idk if you guys like me? but it is very uncomfortable to watch. My neck starts hurting because the tattoo gives me the illusion you have something wrapped around your neck, so as I watch, I feel like mine is starting to hurt… make sense? its strange.

  • I buy organic for the “dirty dozen” fruits and veggies. Another tip I use is to buy organic greens when they are close to expiry and are discounted at 30% off, then freeze and use in my smoothies.

  • We always buy organic and Fair Trade staples: sugar, flour, coffee, dairy products, tea, cacao, vanilla, bananas etc. Anything that craves heavy watering and special growing conditions. For the rest, like vegetables etc we buy local. It has nothing to do with either health nor taste.

  • Too bad Laci couldn’t bother to learn something before making this video.  A) Fertilizers do not control weeds.  B) Pesticides help control much more than insects; like, weeds, for example.  SMH.

  • the thing with organic is if we switched all farming to organic 2 billion (more) people would starve! and also the less pollution is bulls*** they use cow dung which creates green house gases which is pure pollution!

  • I think you should try a home-grown tomato against one you get at a restaurant. I ate one yesterday on a hot dog. It tasted like packaging peanuts. It was hard, dry, pale and yucky. Home grown have real flavor and are dark red. They’re juicy with a lot of depth to their taste.

If dogs are so stupid, why won’t even my “starving labs” refuse store bought tomatoes?? They LOVE home grown. And they grow in Northern climates well.

How do you know the differences are “clinically insignificant?” You were able to measure them, were you not? I’m guessing it doesn’t take much modification of the body to screw you up badly.

Here’s an example: take a piano file generated on a computer. Have a real person play on a real piano.

It’s obvious immediately which is the person. The computer generated file, frankly, sucks.

If you’re not eating junk at all, you’ll eat probably 75% less food overall.

    Measure it for yourself.

  • in conclusion, if you have a ton of money and are really into the healthy hype more than other issues in your life, yeah. give it a go. otherwise no.

  • to be honest my life been getting better since i started eating organic food my skin, i feel less stressed, and i dont get sick no more, organic food is the best, in the other hand conventional food used to have me sick all the time and with acne, and also i used to feel stressed and tired all the time.

  • In the long run, organic is cheaper! Especially in the U.S. where a visit to the doctor cost a lot more than in developed countries.

  • i buy cheap food mostly fishstäbchen or salat with dressing from norma also finished dish like bolognese dont have the time to cook 1 or 2 hours this food gives me the power for 12 hours work peace from germany

  • It really do help with eczema, I been trying to eat right get back in the gym and I work 7 days a week in a plant so the dirt breaks me out bad on my arms because of the sleeves I wear… once I changed my diet a little bit it started going away

  • TONGUE CANCER/ORAL CANCER paid us an un-welcomed visit in 1985 when my husband Larry was mid 30’s…our lives were changed forever and never be same as it CAN’T be same.
We learned some heartbreaking lessons….we survived the odds…far beyond life expectancy 5 yrs for his type oral cancer…is deadly and had a less than 5% survival rate. My husband i alive and doing VERY well, still working at designing and engineering large 911 and ER systems for the government…police, fire and ambulance in the US…He’s Motorola’s top/leading systems Engineer
for decades…has retired several times, but he loves what he does…was born an engineer and his level of skills, DECADES experience, expertise and knowledge has been a life saver to many citizens,
police, EMS around our area…..so he feels he can’t quit.retire just yet…one more system may save a life!

  • Here I am watching the video laying in bed, after a long day…but I can’t wait to get back in the GYM again tomorrow morning…

CHRIS vídeos it always gives me Motivation to keep WORKING OUT!…..Great stuff always:)

  • I can’t find watermelon with brown seeds. All watermelon today is seedless and it taste terribly. Only seed watermelon is good for hypertension and also terrific for erection without side effects. Whole Food Market only sell seedless watermelons. I’m very disappointed.

  • I could do without the skin demonstration by that odd girl with the awful haircut. She’s got bigger issues than an inflammatory condition.

  • Don’t know if this is a organic thing or what but some tomatoes and cucumbers are watery and tasteless.
Maybe because they are being shipped in from another country (Spain to uk).
If you are lucky enough to buy from local allotment growers the taste of the produce is completely different and the smell of fresh tomatoes is wonderful .
Not saying Spanish fruit and veg is rubbish but the journey must give it jet lag or something.

  • Why have I never thought to go to Farmer’s Markets at the end of the day?? Thanks for the tip! I live in Austin, Tx and I’m obsessed with our farmer’s markets, but I do end up spending tons of money.

  • What about GMO’s? All that other SHIT they put in our food. Is that also in the organic foods??? I’m genuinely interested in the answer if anyone can give me an answer.

  • I say yes to organic food. I try my best to purchase organic but if funds are tight I make sure I have or buy some vinegar to wash or go frozen. Ps Or I grow my own produce as much as I can during the growing season. Love to play in dirty.

  • I used to go to an organic college, their food was filth and made me ill. Yet all they could do is brag and boast. I just don’t see what all the fuss is about, there is perfectly good food you can buy and it doesn’t have to cost the earth, “organic” is a fad and will one day go out of fashion. All I get is abuse, simply for preferring conventional food and I just don’t see why people have to be so nasty to me. ):<

  • What about plants grown with high amounts of antibiotics? Antibiotics are unhealthy in high doses for many reasons. They can make bacteria immune to it in your body, children can go through puberty earlier etc. Organic plants aren’t grown with pesticides.

  • Stop avocados consumption. They take plenty of water to grow in Chile, citizens struggle with water crisis. Eat healthy by eating local.

  • Great video I buy organic whenever I can! Could you do a video on collegen powders I am curious your thoughts on them. Have a great day!

  • Oh by the way I had a little apple farm and worked on big lettuce farm…… You eat cancer things that when touch my skin burn… Smell like crap.. Kills everything… So… Can’t change my mind organic ftw

  • My grandparents have a farm and I don’t think they use any artificial fertilisers. Real organic food is actually really tasty and better than processed or ‘artificial’ ones.

  • I was listening intently until the camera zoomed out to show her body. From that point I heard words, but wasn’t quite paying attention to them anymore…

  • i often wonder why aliens dont visit this planet then i read the remarks on here HELLO IS THERE ANYONE IN! we are willingly posioning ourselves, cancer heart disease dementia all out of control WHY ARE WE NOT ASKING THE REASONS BEHIND THIS? what’s changed to create this. the chemical industries runs the world, not governments there also run people perceptions which is why it’s so hard to convince people of this basic fact, pesticides herbicides insecticides are design to kill living life. Look up cides it means destroyer of life and we are feed this shit to our children in the name of sanity wake up

  • Love your videos! Love your shirt too btw! Mr Clean energy… love your energy too! I always shop the perimeter… you know who I learned that through was Suzanne Somers long ago.. funny that I would ever remember that! I’m a pretty organic girl… so this was great. Thanks Great video… Elizabeth

  • FACT: you can pee on the organic food and it would still be approved as organic. learned that in science class, makes me wonder if its safer

  • a vegetable is a vegetable, paying an extra $5 for an organic version is just a way for companies to profit off of people who don’t understand how nutrition works. save your money and just don’t eat shit.

  • Oh by the way I had a little apple farm and worked on big lettuce farm…… You eat cancer things that when touch my skin burn… Smell like crap.. Kills everything… So… Can’t change my mind organic ftw

  • Great video I buy organic whenever I can! Could you do a video on collegen powders I am curious your thoughts on them. Have a great day!

  • Organic industry tyranny for 32 years and counting: “Although GMOs are regarded as safe as their conventional counterparts by every major food safety authority in the world, the organic industry spends nearly $3 billion a year through over 330 different organizations leading with fear and “information spin” as an industry to sell their products. By creating an unfounded fear that requires tighter regulations on GMO crops, they are hoping to force them out of the food supply, thereby creating a bigger market share to sell more products in their more than $65 billion wheelhouse.
The unfortunate consequence of these [non-GMO] labels is that the food companies and lobbyists tend to create an unnecessary “us vs. them” divide. When food companies use fear against competitors to sell a product, farmers take it personally.”
    @t
Now why do you suppose organic food is so expensive?? Imagine what 3 billion dollars could do for humanitarian goals end a different disease forever every year…. End all hunger in at least one country…… Funding nasty propaganda? Really??

  • I worked on several organic farms..they use very deadly products as pesticide…..it kills everything..even the bees….it contaminates the water supply…..Never buy organic…sheer poison……..plant a garden

  • They easiest way to grow organic food is to package your food in containers that say they are organic. Not only that, but then you can double the price.

  • We are creators and the power of intention is often underestimated. When I am unable to get organic (due to ridiculous pricing), or don’t trust the source or am in a restaurant I simply bless it and offer gratitude from my Heart to all those who made it possible for the food to be on my plate. I also thank my body for the work is does in digesting it… all this in less than a minute:-))

  • I love farmers markets. I wish the one in my town was a little bit bigger and had more options, but it has some great basic fruits and veggies that we buy.

  • I’ve read a couple science articles suggesting microwaving is the best way to cook food to retain nutrients. They were really interesting articles that also claims to pretty much debunk the myths around microwaving.

  • I do buy organic whenever affordable, but here a couple of concerns:
You state that on organic veggies no pesticides are used. That is wrong, since there is only a list of certain pesticides they aren’t allowed to use. Following that you also never mentioned natural pesticides and their negative effect on health.
Organic also doesn’t mean local. You mixed those up. Or are you talking about a specific label that requires nearby selling location?
Is there any credible study that organics contain more nutrients? In my knowledge, so far it is only been proven that some contain a higher omega3acid ratio (research institute of organic agriculture (fibl)) Please share if you know more.

I like that you often use the term chances are, because the label itself guarantees very little concerning the end product. It rather also addresses social benefits (Climate -, Groundwater -, nature protection, animal welfare).

However while analyzing a question, when pros AND cons are listed, it seems way more profound and credible.

Especially when sources are listed, rather than dropping statements like “research has shown…”. You left out all negative effects of organic farming.

Personally the only thing I know for sure that buying seasonal, local produce is for the best.
And frankly, often organic stuff simply taste better.

I hope it comes across as constructive criticism. If I’m misinformed, please do correct:)

  • The fact that the FDA deliberately prevents you from knowing the ingredients on 99% of grocery store food SHOULD be a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE red flag to each and every one of you here!  but your only a stupid human, what do you care about what your eating……….sigh.

  • This is a joke, right? Right out of the gate, you lie. Had respect for you Laci, don’t anymore. First and foremost, organic does use fertilizers and pesticides, many times identical in molecular composition to their synthetic counterparts. Second, everything is chemicals. Everything. When you use phrasing like “there’s chemicals in your food” any educated person is going to think “well, no shit, Sherlock.” Anything can be poisonous, and it’s the dosage that makes something poisonous. You can die from drinking pure water. If you want to use your privilege and buy organic, fine. But don’t force your life choices onto other people. Not everyone has the luxuries that you have, and not everyone can afford to scoff at perfectly safe and healthy food.

  • “Organic” is one of the biggest scam out there today. The term alone can mean many different things. I can see Laci got her information by doing a quick google search. Such searches tend to be flooded with opinionated and down right lies.

So much of the information she spewed out is just wrong and comes right from the vegan websites. There is very little difference between organic and conventional. Studies in the past 50 years show no substantial nutritional difference between the two. The pesticide residue is very small and can be removed by thoroughly washing the food. The levels found in children’s urine  is very small and there is no evidence it is causing any harm. Furthermore pesticides are used on many organic foods as well. There is a slightly higher risk of food poisoning from organic foods due n part to the “natural” fertilizers they use and not using some other safe methods.

The only thing I will give organic is sometimes the foods will taste better, but honestly it isn’t enough to justify the higher cost. It really just a way for companies to make money from people that have bought into the lies.

  • Maybe use sources to back up you claims, a simple link to where you get this info or a reference to a book instead of simply making claims is effective. We don’t know if this is scientifically backed up or hearsay.

Oh, and your thing about GMOs being harmful was only backed up by you thinking the DNA of bacteria is scary, no possible negative health risks. That is no way to back up a claim, just because something is scary doesn’t mean it is harmful. For example, MANY people are scared of spiders, but the spiders that they encounter CANNOT do any actual damage. Even if something is potentially harmful, that doesn’t mean it cannot be used in a safe manner. Botulinum Toxin will kill in EXTREMELY low doses buy it can be used safely to get rid of wrinkles. A lack of proper explanations and evidence shows a lack of critical thinking skills in the average viewer of your channel. It also opens up the possibility that you are either ignorant or intentionally misleading.

  • What about plants grown with high amounts of antibiotics? Antibiotics are unhealthy in high doses for many reasons. They can make bacteria immune to it in your body, children can go through puberty earlier etc. Organic plants aren’t grown with pesticides.

  • I choose ORGANIC. We’ll see the results (REAL RESULTS) in a few years from now. If the population of the world is HALF that of today’s, I’ll feel better about my “expensive” decision… Good luck.

  • Warning….women who are organic nuts all have huge butts….too much copper sulfate…which is used as a pesticide on organic produce….deadly…organic is a hoax

  • i buy cheap food mostly fishstäbchen or salat with dressing from norma also finished dish like bolognese dont have the time to cook 1 or 2 hours this food gives me the power for 12 hours work peace from germany

  • most people wanna eat organic food but only the rich can afford it, I’d love to only eat organic but it’s impossible as an orchard labourer to afford it. tell me how this works, I put organic food on other people plates but can’t afford it myself, just shows how much we value the people who produce our food… f all

  • Great vid! It’s more and more important to watch what you eat! Love all the budget tips! You don’t have to break the bank to eat healthy and you do save in the long run when it comes to medical bills!:)

  • does this guy not understand the difference between the way the term “organic” is used in food labeling and law and the what it’s really supposed to mean? food that’s ACTUALLY ORGANIC is obviously way better for you; if you’ve ever eaten any and have any level of awareness of your body at all, you know this.

  • Love how even the message on your tee syncs with the whole theme of the video! Farm to Fork is new! Love the new subscribe and ring the bell button too! So fun! • Conventional foods are genetically altered food that haven’t been tested for safety. Conventional (GMO) is dangerous to our health. The speed in which foods grow causes a lack of vitamins and minerals.

  • The British study also included studies with less sound methodologies and was granted funding from an organization that supports organic food research whereas the Stanford study was not funded by outside sources. There are also many types of antioxidants and you should look more into which ones those are. As far as the pesticide levels, none of them are even close to an unsafe level. Conventional farming also is a lot less practical with the growing demand of food production and the vast decrease in the number of actual farmers. Also organic foods can still contain pesticides. They just can’t contain synthetic pesticides. The ogranic pesticides can be much more harmful to development and long term health.

  • i love oatmeal. i can it it sweet or savory. my favorite sweet one is brown sugar and peaches. my favorite savory is with cheese and sausage!

  • Other studies show that, yes, while it has a lower chance of CHEMICAL contamination, organic simply means ‘not chemical.’ Poisonous fertilisers and pesticides can still be used, as long as they are NATURAL. For example, in the top 5 most deadly poisons, only 1, number 4 (Nerve Gas), is synthetic. Also, organic produce takes up more space and is actually worse overall for the environment.

  • You are just asuming that organic is better for you, when the reality is no there is no solid evidence to proove it anyway. Organic food contains 10 times the level of mycotoxins too and hase no chemical or nutritional benifits over conventional. GMO’s are NOT dangerouce, (how ever the hell you spell it) If roudup is so poisonos, how come I’m not dead? I drank roundup and apart from it’s taste, it’s harmless. GMO’s are better than even conventional. There hase been a long compaing of missinformation and false studies desinged to put doubt and feer into GMO’s! the reality is, in the past 25 years there hasn’t been a single case of GMO’s causing harm to anyone or anything AT ALL! If you would like to show me your evidence that over the so called concerns over GMO’s I would be more than happy to de bunk them, and be honest, there is none. I have said it before and to this day the only reaserch I have been shown, came of wikipedia, and UN-reliable sorce anyway! The genetic literacy project or the food standards agency and a look on google hase all the information you want on the topic! Organic food gives me stomach cramps and the squits, I doubt that something that makes you sick is actually better for you. My old college the glass house was an officialy recognised 100% organic food eating institution and their food was so bad that I once wen’t for 5 days eating only tap water. GMO’s are safe, end of story. The concerns raised back in the 80’s have not come to be. The sun shined on ALL farms, unless it’s a mushroom farm! All this imergary of lush green field and fresh healthy produce is just propoganda, in reality conventional food is more fresh in my expiriance. organic can be more than 10 times the price and I just don’t see the point in wasting all that money on a fad!

  • I used to go to an organic college, their food was filth and made me ill. Yet all they could do is brag and boast. • Wow, fantastic video. The speaker goes into prevention in general so much that the video title doesn’t do it justice. Great work!

  • I buy organic because organic food contains less toxins vs non organic. They are grown using methods that are healthier for your body.

  • Before I watch the video I was like duh,of course organic food isn’t worst for you than junk food.now I see the point you’re bringing out as far as mislabeling and so forth

  • Dude these tips were the stuff I started doing a few weeks ago unconsciously and today I consumed all nutrients and macros with no added sugar

  • Hi everyone, all the food out there is contaminated because it has heavy metal toxins, etc. Also our water as well. Get a good filter, start your own garden or join a community garden, or go to your local farmers market. there’s also a bunch of nano tech in the food as well so if I were you I’d listen to this now, do yourself a big favor to get them out of your body, and also detox as well. Link provided.. We’re all moving into new frequency on the earth and everyone is fed up with the old matrix.

  • I shared this video on my Facebook Page Corrina. it was so helpful as someone who suffers from celiac disease, Leaky gut and an autoimmune disease on top of all that. Organic food slowly has helped my health get Stronger and lessened the symptoms of my health problems.

  • Conventional foods are genetically altered food that haven’t been tested for safety. Conventional (GMO) is dangerous to our health. The speed in which foods grow causes a lack of vitamins and minerals.

  • Every video Laci is in gets a DRASTIC amount of dislikes in comparison to videos done by the other hosts. Get rid of Laci already, she’s useless.

  • Thank you for making this video! Yes it is more expensive but it is also more environmentally friendly and it has been done for thousands of years. Greed has brought us gmos and harmful chemical pesticides.

  • What.The.Heck. Pistol squats and hand stands?? Those are extremely advanced moves, that was a terrible example of a realistic work out.

  • I have lost 70 pounds and I have have learned that you should never shop from the center of the grocery if I ever have to find something in the center of the grocery store I have to ask for help. We use our family Sam card to save money. So that is one why to save money share the cost of the membership.

  • Oh my gosh. I love love love organic food. It more “good for you.”
Oh yeah I love mc Donald’s. Burger King. KFC. And drinking my heart out also. But organic awesome!!!! I’m so green.

  • Please, can you make a video about why so many people hate on lacy?
    Psychologicaly?
Or does she just always pick the controvertial topics a certain “kind of people” cannot deal with, not even as an open scientific debate?

it seriously seems like a witch hunt…
(or is it the loud minority, but why do they have so many thumbs up?)

I like her content, it is interesting and thought provoking!:)

    Keep it up Dnews!

  • This video is stupid. There are no know health perks to organic food. I’m sorry that just the scientific consensus on the subject.

  • I think Organics and all produce for that matter should be statutorily required to reflect a “Picked on date”. That information is quite usual.

I just started using a commerical food wash handy, but it doesn’t work on the wax that a lot of the Apple’s at the grocer tend to have applied to make the fruit more shiny and glossy. How do you get that stuff off?

  • Every video Laci is in gets a DRASTIC amount of dislikes in comparison to videos done by the other hosts. Get rid of Laci already, she’s useless.

  • most people wanna eat organic food but only the rich can afford it, I’d love to only eat organic but it’s impossible as an orchard labourer to afford it. tell me how this works, I put organic food on other people plates but can’t afford it myself, just shows how much we value the people who produce our food… f all

  • Also (and im too lazy to look to see if anyone else said this already) food labeling laws are so lax in this country that any company can label their product as “organic” because technically it is and is still an agricultural product. This means that they can charge you more because you think they went through the proper channels and procedures to get their products certified. For something to be truely organic in the way that we think it should be it has to be labled as “certified organic”.

  • I had organic carrots from big uk supermarket and they tasted bad in fact I threw them away. I hear organic is really not organic as chemicals are also sprayed on these so called organic fruits and veg.

  • Why are there so many pro-gmo people in the comment section? Have you guys not heard of the insecticides and pesticides effect on bee population.I though this show had a liberal audience, who hate destruction of enivironment. I didn’t know so many people were in support of an argiculteral monopoly called Monsanto.I thought liberals hated corrupt corporations.

  • What about GMO’s? All that other SHIT they put in our food. Is that also in the organic foods??? I’m genuinely interested in the answer if anyone can give me an answer.

  • I’m going to start a petition on whitehouse.gov and it would read as follows, “Replace DNews feminist host Laci Green with someone better.”

    Who’s willing to sign?

  • the thing with organic is if we switched all farming to organic 2 billion (more) people would starve! and also the less pollution is bulls*** they use cow dung which creates green house gases which is pure pollution!

  • For me, large tomatoes and cucumbers are the main veggies that I HAVE to buy organic. You can see a HUGE difference when you taste those two organic and non-organic. The non-organic ones taste so plastic and they don’t have a rich colour whereas the organic ones taste so sweet and look different

  • Share your tips on how you save money buying organic food. Also, what do you think about organic and non-gmo foods? Leave your comments below.

  • If you don’t believe it, enjoy your GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, artificial flavours, artificial colours, preservatives, growth hormones (in meat), antibiotics (in meat), etc.

Your body will be unhappy and you’ll become used to it. Of course I was being sarcastic. Organic food, especially locally grown, is worth the 25% (or whatever %) extra money.

Try not to go to ‘WholeFoods’ or other very expensive stores, rather to go stores that offer cheaper options (i.e. Organic Garage for Ontarians) or even better, local farms that grow organically.

We will all pay for it in a few more decades, we are already starting. People are sick, infertile, and weak like crazy. Getting cancer like crazy. And ALLEGIES! Weak immune systems! This is not normal! At least, it shouldn’t be! Our bodies are built to live and heal and be strong.

If we feed it artificial substances or food made artificially, we will not avoid the inevitable consequences.

You may be living with a sick body and not even know it. Especially peoples’ immune systems today (in North America) are so weak. We get sick so often. This is not normal, opposed to what we’ve been taught.

Doctors offer us drugs, however our bodies are built to take care of themselves. Your body can diagnose viruses, and other illnesses, even some cancers, and fight them off!

Even small cavities in the teeth can heal with proper nutrition and a diet that lacks candy and chocolate, and the like (particularly ones that aren’t organically made).

Get enough sleep, get some exercise, and eat naturally. This is truly living, in the sense of bodily life. As far as our souls go, we’ll need to turn to Jesus to be healed, otherwise we are hopeless.

  • Oh my gosh. I love love love organic food. It more “good for you.”
Oh yeah I love mc Donald’s. Burger King. KFC. And drinking my heart out also. But organic awesome!!!! I’m so green.

  • Laci? Seriously? Whatever, I’m gonna educate you all.
Myth: Organic Produce doesn’t have pesticides
Truth: organic food can have pesticides if they are from a natural source. Several of these pesticides however, such as iron nitrate, are actually much worse for the environment.
Myth: Organic is better for you
Truth: there is no difference in nutrients from organic to conventional
Myth: Organic has a higher yield
Truth: organic has a 25% decrease in yield. This is also why the price is hugely inflated
Myth: organic and by extension free range meats are more ethical.
Truth: Organic meat is not allowed to be treated with antibiotics, meaning if an animal gets infected, they have a high chance of dying. And to be considered Free Range, animals only required FIVE MINUTES in witch they are allowed outside. Furthermore, many free range animals are kept in cages for early stages of their life, meaning they are afraid to go outside when the opportunity arises

  • The Organic bill adds up quickly. Especially if you buy Organic Dairy or Organic processed foods.. Which honestly I would advise to at least avoid the processed for the most part if you can. My advice is to do a meal plan. Buy what you need for your meals for the week and healthy simple snacks between and try to shop once that week. Use your leftovers for lunch the following day. Otherwise you’re making numerous trips and more inclined to purchase unneeded items, and typically less healthy Organic items (at least it’s that way for me ;).)Maybe make one day a week you’re special homemade Organic treat day to avoid the unnecessary costs/sugars. ( I love to bake, so this is a big one for me.) AlsoI make my own detergent and it lasts about a year. So that’s a HUGE help on the wallet. You can make your own household cleaners easily and they get the job done without the dangers of the common household cleaners. Also, if you have time to make your own breadthat saves even more on the costs… Plus you avoid so many ingredients (including soy.) It’s a much healthier option. Kroger has an App for coupons that you can clip on your phone that will save when you use your Kroger card. Every little bit helps. Buying clean 15 does help as well! That is a good suggestion. As well as growing some of your own fruits and veggies but I understand that that and a couple other suggestions are not entirely realistic for busier people. Over allthese things will help you save. Realistically it is more expensive obviously than conventional, but in my opinionit is worth avoiding the risks in conventional foods. I hope some of this was helpful. Good luck to youOrganic family. <3

  • Cheers for the video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about Parlandealey Impetigo Goodbye Process (probably on Google)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning how to grow your own organic vegetables using hydroponics without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

  • Hi Ron! Love your 5 tips, they’re so right on. I’m a Pilates Instructor and totally believe in Preventative Health it’s worth the investment and saves money in the end. Thanks for a great video!!

  • Wow!!! great video Ron!!! Excellent tips on organic shopping and budgeting. And great job on the editing. Your passion for this subject definitely shows. ☺️☺️☺️

  • Great vid! It’s more and more important to watch what you eat! Love all the budget tips! You don’t have to break the bank to eat healthy and you do save in the long run when it comes to medical bills!:)

  • I buy organic whenever possible. I am aware, however, that it does not mean that there are no pesticides used. It only means that they use pesticides from this list, and not from that list.

  • Scientists estimate that if we switched to 100% organic farming, we could feed 4 billion people. Which 3 billion people are you willing to let starve to death?

  • 80/10/10 Organic vegan. Cuts your risk of ingesting pesticides. When pesticides are ingested in excess can create free radicals which cause cancer.

  • I buy organic when I can UNLESS the non-organic version is not wrapped in plastic! Plastic is such a big problem and because many organic products are ‘different’ they are often wrapped in plastic so that the label can be visible. I buy non-organic things like avocado or eggplant since they are less contaminated with pesticides.

  • I switch between oats and smoothies. Definitely feel better than when eating prepared junk. Just stay away from quaker oats. I started getting gas issues then found out they’ve been known to spray dangerous pesticides to dry up the oats right before harvest, and I haven’t had any issues since I started buying organic…

  • I’m starting to think a lot of people have forgotten what organic really means: “relating to or denoting compounds containing carbon (other than simple binary compounds and salts) and chiefly or ultimately of BIOLOGICAL ORIGIN.”

So when I saw the title, I immediately thought, “Isn’t that all food?!?”

For real though people, if you’re that concerned about pesticides & other chemicals, start a garden if you can. Raise chickens in your backyard. Do what you can, because even though a company says it’s “organic” *cough pesticide/herbicide free cough*, it doesn’t meant it’s true.

Also, you know what else is organic? Hemlock.

    You’re welcome.

  • Love the shirt Ron and I love your tip about shopping the perimeter! I was grocery store shopping yesterday and honestly tried to shop the perimeter. I didn’t know about the plastic wrap tip! Good to know!

  • I’m going to start a petition on whitehouse.gov and it would read as follows, “Replace DNews feminist host Laci Green with someone better.”

  • FACT: you can pee on the organic food and it would still be approved as organic. learned that in science class, makes me wonder if its safer

  • I think you brought forth some valid point there, Corrina. I eat about 40% of my calories from organic food, I simply can’t afford to go fully organic, though visiting the farmers market is sometimes cheaper than the supermarket.

  • Love the shirt Ron and I love your tip about shopping the perimeter! I was grocery store shopping yesterday and honestly tried to shop the perimeter. I didn’t know about the plastic wrap tip! Good to know!

  • Always great content. There is a good side to modern food science. Genetic modification to a couple rice strains has reduced malnutrition and disease like malaria in very poor countries.

  • Well it is a choice like u said. U Can choose to
Eat Aldis horse meat. U can choose all this boxed cheap gmo stuff over organic and pay more In the end sitting at dr office paying for ur cancer treatment.

  • the new study has been critized, because it included several low quality studies:

    http://www.geneticliteracyproject.org/2014/07/17/skepticism-over-claims-that-organic-food-is-healthier/

  • I buy organic whenever possible. I am aware, however, that it does not mean that there are no pesticides used. It only means that they use pesticides from this list, and not from that list.

  • When it comes to meat I think that getting it organic and grass fed makes a huge difference. Getting more omega 3 to omega 6 in that way. Plus you can actually tell the difference in taste.

  • Some of the info in this vid is INACCURATE The vid states at appx 0:19 “produce is grown old school style; they aren’t using fertilizers to control weeds or pesticides to ward off insects; they use natural, non-chemical means” Organic farmers DO USE “chemicals” in regards to fertilizers and pesticides; organic does NOT equal chemical/pesticide-free. Organic farming is in our best interest and hopefully will improve in the pesticide dept. The vid was accurate w/ organic farming does “promote water and soil conservation, while creating less pollution”…however, there are so many more reasons to choose organic!

  • Also… Microwaves have been proven to be a risk To human Health if you’re standing to close While it is in operation. there is a warning that comes In the Box with each Microwave with the recommendation how far back to stand. Maybe that doesn’t pertain to the food inside but it should be noted. I apologize, I’m not trying to be negative still listening to the presentation in its entirety. Knowledge is power, And I always listen to both sides. And I especially listen to my gut.

  • One tip I can share…Save your vegetable scraps/even onion and garlic skins in the freezer and when you have accumulated enough, make vegetable stock. This way, you won’t need to buy stock and it flavors the food nicely!

  • I eat oats everyday-that now I can run faster than the six million dollar man; my real name is Steve Austin-I was a man barely alive-until I started eating oats….everyday; even at a confession booth at church. But Jeez, I saw my priest chowing down on oats too, although he tried to hide it. Why, I’ll never know…..

  • Here a question everyone should be asking instead of asking why organic foods are so expensive we should be asking why produzited foods are so cheap.

  • Great tips, thanks for this video! We mostly shop at local farmers markets and also buy generic brands and cheaper frozen organic produce at times that you mentioned. We also use Amazon Prime, WinCo for bulk-foods and low-priced items. Glad you were talking about reducing plastic and choosing non-wrapped produce as well!

  • Hey guys! What do you usually have for breakfast? I love this 7:00!

Btw, these food combinations can ruin your health https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRbhveLaQ9c&t=515s

  • Twelve Lies Organic Lobbyists Commonly Spread about Pesticides – The Risk-Monger
    https://risk-monger.com/2017/09/28/twelve-lies-organic-lobbyists-commonly-spread-about-pesticides/

  • I say yes to organic food. I try my best to purchase organic but if funds are tight I make sure I have or buy some vinegar to wash or go frozen. Ps Or I grow my own produce as much as I can during the growing season. Love to play in dirty.

  • Organic farms use copper sulfate as a pesticide..very dangerous…organic industry has a marketing program that is not accurate…..copper sulfate goes into water supplies….I worked on organic farms..it’s a scam

  • I can’t find watermelon with brown seeds. All watermelon today is seedless and it taste terribly. Only seed watermelon is good for hypertension and also terrific for erection without side effects. Whole Food Market only sell seedless watermelons. I’m very disappointed.

  • Organic produce can travel as much as conventional produce. In AZ it goes from Mexico to Colorado then back to Arizona. By the time you get it home typical only has a couple days to be eaten.

  • a vegetable is a vegetable, paying an extra $5 for an organic version is just a way for companies to profit off of people who don’t understand how nutrition works. save your money and just don’t eat shit.

  • We’ve been eating organic food for hundreds of thousands of years. Now all of a sudden we think spraying the food with pesticides and poison and genetically modifying it is okay? Why do you think people are getting sick and fat left and right? Eating conventional food is a big joke.

  • Well it is a choice like u said. U Can choose to
Eat Aldis horse meat. U can choose all this boxed cheap gmo stuff over organic and pay more In the end sitting at dr office paying for ur cancer treatment.

  • I use a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar in a spray bottle for a vegetable wash also use it for cutting board and counter cleaning.

  • We’ve been eating organic food for hundreds of thousands of years. Now all of a sudden we think spraying the food with pesticides and poison and genetically modifying it is okay? Why do you think people are getting sick and fat left and right? Eating conventional food is a big joke.

  • Is non organic food shipped with organic? If so wouldn’t that delete the purpose of being organic cause the pesticides could transfer in air to the organic food from the non organic

  • Organic food is the worlds biggest CON. There is no evidence they are “better” for you and they certainly DON’T “taste better!” I used to go to an organic college and their food was so bad that I once went for 5 days living off only tap water. They even hade the audacity to go round bragging and boasting! The whole culture behind organic is snobby, retarded, aggressive, in your face and stupid. All I ever get is abuse from organic enthusiasts and I just don’t understand why they have to make such a fuss over something they know nothing about. when I lived at the glass house college I had stomach cramps diarrhea, head aches, vomiting, kidney stones, colds, flue, dizziness and other sickness. Their food was so bad but all they could do was gloat. There is nothing wrong with conventional food, it’s cheaper, tastes better, is better for you and is safer as well as many other qualities over so called “organic!” GMO’s are the way foreword. Organic is history and is redundant and obsolete! LONG live the oil trade!

  • Do we know whether the English study was comparing conventional produce to “locally grown” organic, as this would have skewed their results due to the storage and transport associated with getting produce from farm to market within the conventional context (often produce is shipped internationally). If this is the case than their conclusion about pesticide use and competition is rather questionable.
Besides that, was it only antioxidant content that was altered? The true benefits of antioxidants are still very questioned within the scientific community; as far as my memory serves.
I personally don’t eat organic because I can’t justify the prices, but maybe my mind changes when I get kiddy-winks.

  • I was listening intently until the camera zoomed out to show her body. From that point I heard words, but wasn’t quite paying attention to them anymore…

  • I missed you and your health videos, Corrina! You were the main reason I subscribed to this channel!

Sometimes I buy organic when it’s cheaper than the conventional items. However, it’s not worth the price for me. I’m trying to eat as healthfully as I can, but still be able to afford to buy groceries. Living on my own as a college student with a full time job and two cat children… it can be rough to pay my rent sometimes, even without spending a lot of money on food.

  • I wish farming could all be organic, but the biggest hurdles will be weed ccontrol from the years of spraying roundup and liberty and such descecants.

  • Organic local farms are the way to go! big Ag is one hell of a scam! it is so disgusting to see all these brainwashed mindless comments below! stop bullshitting us with GMOs are made by nature and everything is GMO. Also you keep using your same old tinfoil hat bullshit. We need to educate people and get them out of there mind controlled realty! May the truth prevail!

  • Before I watch the video I was like duh,of course organic food isn’t worst for you than junk food.now I see the point you’re bringing out as far as mislabeling and so forth

  • How is organic more expensive? Less work into farming but yet more expensive,? It’s just naturally grown no chemicals ect. Just like in the early days doesn’t really matter earth is to polluted anyway. Its just a stupid hipster fad

  • I have spoken to a guy that works for the USDA who said it’s a scam. You are just paying for a label. Unless you know the farmer and watch his process you are getting veggies lable organic that were picked with the same time and spots as ones not labeled. Grow it yourself if you want REAL organic foods. Otherwise you are just wasting money.

  • I buy organic for the “dirty dozen” fruits and veggies. Another tip I use is to buy organic greens when they are close to expiry and are discounted at 30% off, then freeze and use in my smoothies.

  • Is non organic food shipped with organic? If so wouldn’t that delete the purpose of being organic cause the pesticides could transfer in air to the organic food from the non organic

  • Breakfast is the most important meal of the day is a myth. Started with certain breakfast food companies. They’re not bias right? Lol.

  • Lovely Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about Parlandealey Impetigo Goodbye Process (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is an awesome one off product for finding some amazing landscaping designs for your home without the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.

  • Great tips Ron! Love the idea of “perimeter shopping”…never heard this before and it so makes sense. I agree that Costco has gotten so much better on the quality of their food/produce. Another great video!!

Organic farming is in our best interest and hopefully will improve in the pesticide dept. The vid was accurate w/ organic farming does “promote water and soil conservation, while creating less pollution”…however, there are so many more reasons to choose organic!

  • I wish farming could all be organic, but the biggest hurdles will be weed ccontrol from the years of spraying roundup and liberty and such descecants.

  • Laci?

  • This is my favorite savory oatmeal recipe
    1egg
    some water
    chicken broth
    seaweed
    salmon flake
    It’s kinda Japanese risotto(雑炊)
    I love it!! Let’s try it☺︎

  • One tip I can share…Save your vegetable scraps/even onion and garlic skins in the freezer and when you have accumulated enough, make vegetable stock. This way, you won’t need to buy stock and it flavors the food nicely!

  • Rather than the 90 degree handstand push-ups. What can be a different exercise if I can’t do that? Would a regular handstand push up be ok?

  • I am not buying organic food (sometimes I do when I find at a cheaper price or discount). It is too expensive for me at the minute, but i believe the best organic is best from your garden. When it comes from the shop it won’t be the same. So I just try not to stress over it and concentrate on positive mindset and staying happy whilst I eat instead of thinking ‘oh not it’s not organic so going to be not good for me’

  • Hi Ron! Love your 5 tips, they’re so right on. I’m a Pilates Instructor and totally believe in Preventative Health it’s worth the investment and saves money in the end. Thanks for a great video!!

  • How can there be 191% of manganese when percentages are only measured up to 100 it seems like you can’t be bothered calculating it properly

  • Warning….women who are organic nuts all have huge butts….too much copper sulfate…which is used as a pesticide on organic produce….deadly…organic is a hoax

  • We’re all basically doomed. Fuskishima destroying the oceans, pesticides in our foods, flouride in our water, silver iodide sprayed in the sky daily. The longest we live to be is 100 years anyway and that’s not a long time. Just live a balance life and enjoy it while it last because it will end soon. The only thing that will still be hear is the earth.

  • In the long run, organic is cheaper! Especially in the U.S. where a visit to the doctor cost a lot more than in developed countries.

  • These are really great tips! I think using the bulk shopping (Costco) is a great option and you’re right, over time you really do save money and feel so much healthier. Thanks for the information.

  • organic food is evil! organic uses more land with lower yields, reducing biodiversity. the selfish endeavour of encouraging organic farming. With a growing global population, yields per hectare need to be going up, not down..
One very common misperception is that organic food contains no pesticides. Of course they do, otherwise organic farmers would grow food only to feed the insects and remediate the soil.

  • “Study claiming organic food more nutritious deeply flawed say independent scientists.”

  • These are really great tips! I think using the bulk shopping (Costco) is a great option and you’re right, over time you really do save money and feel so much healthier. Thanks for the information.

  • This video is fake news. There is no proven benefits beyond the smug sense of self satisfaction you get from being privileged enough to pay 3X the cost for the same thing while others can’t afford food at all.

  • Where do you get your t-shirts? You have a different t-shirt for each video. Anyway, our household is organic!!! I subscribe to a local service that brings organic food straight to our house. It’s more expensive but I don’t need to go to the supermarket at all. So in the end, I save because I don’t spend on items we don’t need. Also, we support local farmers and organic farms. Great video, Ron! Love it. By the way, I also know Dr. Axe (not personally but his work and videos).

  • Organic food is like slavery
Organic free them from poisoned chemicals and give them better nutritions and still they want to be slaves to the greedy mass producing companies that ruined our environment.

I have put my daughter on an all organic diet and she healthier and smarter than most kids
Believe it or not i think it even made her more spiritual!!!

It cost me a lot but when i see how great she have grown the past 4 years
    It makes me proud

Some people prefer money some prefer healthier children

That’s why they lie to themselves and be like its the same as the food covered with chemicals used to kill bugs!!!!

    Seriously…

Are you asking me to feed my child food filled with small amount of pesticides and try to convince me it’s harmless!!!

  • What I do is buy organic vitamins (Garden of Life) and just buy basic things. If I wanna eat something more, I’ll buy the ingredients and use all of it. I save money that way while also get nutrients through vitamins. All organic.

  • 80/10/10 Organic vegan. Cuts your risk of ingesting pesticides. When pesticides are ingested in excess can create free radicals which cause cancer.

  • Great video and message Ron! I remember when Organic just didn’t seem like a huge priority for me but slowly I started to spend more and invest in my health. Now most of my foods are organic because it just makes sense to me. In order to stay in our budget when we add organic foods, you hit such great points ie avoid the bakery etc. Wonderful tips! Will have to share with my clients!

  • I buy organic because organic food contains less toxins vs non organic. They are grown using methods that are healthier for your body.

  • The problem is that you have too many workouts. I don’t know which to follow or which one is more effective. We got so many influencers and each one tells you something different…

  • Even those regulations aren’t enough, but some do already good. Banning certain pesticides like atrazine (banned in EU) and others.
Nations like Russia and Japan banned GMOs. And since Russia is going to sell more agricultural products, they might gain opportunity in producing organic food.
The only problem is that the soil hasn’t got any chemical analysis, for me it creates opportunity to test the soil in different places.

Another tip about organic food: you can make your own, just buy organic seeds and use the kratky method.
The water has to get first well fultered and then add nutrients and minerals to make it more nutricious.
The method can be found on foodrising.org
Or look up for natural news on vimeo as they also have videos about it.
They claim this method can make big agricultural industries render obsolete, making them lose profits

    Yummmyyy…..

  • Biosolids. That reason should be enough for anyone. Thousands of full condoms swimming arround with feces and period blood and they don’t filter the semen because it’s part of what makes the plants grow. Biosolids caused cattle to die from eating grass treated with it and it soaks into the food and traces are found on the surface of food which is worse than the chef at the restaurant you eat at rubbing his ejaculate and feces in your burger.

They downplay and ignore biosolids everywhere like GMOs is the problem. That should tell you you trust them. Biosolids is so sick and abundant in food it should be headlining news everywhere, but it’s intentionally overlooked. Interesting that feces eating is a huge part of satanism now they want everyone doing it! Smh

  • Where’s the focus on organic meat? This surely has legit benefits. Organic meat helps stem the spread of antibiotic resistance. Industrial farms where this tends to occur are propped up by antimicrobials, preventing a move away from intensive farming and artificially low prices which deter people from paying a price for meat which can be produced under safer and higher welfare conditions

  • This video is factually incorrect. Organic produce is almost always treated with pesticides which are poisonous just like conventional pesticides. But organic means it cant be treated with synthetic pesticide. It has to be a natural pesticide. Arsenic and lead are not synthetic. They are elements highly poisonous to humans that are organic. Lesson: organic does not always mean safe or safer.

  • I am mostly concerned with getting food with maximum amount of nutrients and since organic food has been proven to have more nutrients I’m gonna go with organic food as much as I can. not to say that just because something is natural means it’s therefore good, but if you don’t worry about hormones and GM o’s and stuff I think that you’re dangerously complacent and you trust food companies way too much.

  • I find organic food expensive so I buy cheaper food, if I dont eat all of it and it goes off I havent lost much money, and I take vitamin + mineral supplements, not ideal I know but save money…

  • where my dessert!?Need to finish my meal with dessert. No dessert =me not happy..Make a video with healthy version of the dessert that still tastes like dessert, not an apple or some random fruits.

  • I read plenty of good opinions on the net about how Custokebon Secrets (search on google) can assist you lost a lot of weight. Has any one tried this popular diet plan program?

  • Here’s the real reason you should eat organic and it may save your or your families life… Fruit and veg contain a phytonutrient called Salvestrols which fight against fungi and naturally stop them from going off. Diseased cells in the human body have a unique enzyme protein called CYP1B1, typically found in cancer. Salvestrols will have a deadly on this enzyme protein whilst leaving the healthy cells fine.

Unfortunately due to fungicides that are sprayed onto normal crops, the majority of Salvestrols (which are found on the skin of fruit and veg) are destroyed, also taking with them that fungi/disease fighting defence with them. Organic fruit and veg has many more Salvestrols, giving you that extra disease fighting ability.

Please do your own research if you wish to know more: https://m.health24.com/Natural/Natural-living/Can-salvestrols-fight-disease-20130524

  • I try to buy organic foods when I have extra change but most times I buy non organic. I care more about what’s in the ingredients labels. We can’t really know if is really organic or not. A lot of times products get mixed and other times being or not organic won’t matter in the final product (such as protein powders).

  • I worked on several organic farms..they use very deadly products as pesticide…..it kills everything..even the bees….it contaminates the water supply…..Never buy organic…sheer poison……..plant a garden

  • Organic is the BEST!!! NO MATTER still BETTER….? Bill Gates GI. Food!!! give cancer!!!!! YOUBHSVE NEUROLOGIC priblem!!!IRGANIC…is very good no more ALLERGIES!!!!

  • All the muscles in the body is a big statement. Your back muscles hardly work (except for upper/lower traps) ps. I know there is only 1 trap muscle but upper/lower have different functions.

  • Here’s the real reason you should eat organic and it may save your or your families life… Fruit and veg contain a phytonutrient called Salvestrols which fight against fungi and naturally stop them from going off.

  • Just the simple fact that the u.s. government even considered using a chemical like agent orange shows u that America IS Monsanto!

  • Thank you for making this video! Yes it is more expensive but it is also more environmentally friendly and it has been done for thousands of years. Greed has brought us gmos and harmful chemical pesticides.

  • I find organic food expensive so I buy cheaper food, if I dont eat all of it and it goes off I havent lost much money, and I take vitamin + mineral supplements, not ideal I know but save money…

  • I worked on several organic farms…all use pesticides…copper sulfate is the worst…it kills everything….it polluted the water supply…its organic but sheer poison……organic is a scam…NEVER buy organic

  • The video doesn’t tell you how your body will change from eating oats, it provides a laundry list of the different nutrients you get from oats… another bait and click

  • Could you please take a moment and answer to this survey about organic food

    https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2GHTH6W
    https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2GHTH6W

  • My grandparents have a farm and I don’t think they use any artificial fertilisers. Real organic food is actually really tasty and better than processed or ‘artificial’ ones.

  • Here a question everyone should be asking instead of asking why organic foods are so expensive we should be asking why produzited foods are so cheap.

  • “Organic” is a politically correct catch phrase now. ANYTHING that has ever lived on this planet is considered “ORGANIC” because it contains the base carbon to produce life in its DNA. Do not get caught  up in this terminology advertisement.

  • From all the data I have researched Small studies that have tested individual foods for micro and macro nutrients found there was a higher concentration in the organic produce. Anything that is grown in soil that has better health through permaculture, is going to absorb And retain Essential minerals In Healthy rich soil that are Depleted in our conventional factory Farm soil. Not to mention has anyone noticed that organic foods in general taste better? Most of them anyway… you can usually tell the difference just by taste conventional from organic. I would like to add The Earth was created perfectly. Everything Relies symbiotically on something else. That weed on your lawn? Besides the fact there is a good chance it could be edible and very nutritious… It serves a purpose: to bind the soil to prevent erosion. the things we humans have either hunted and gathered or cultivated and eaten have everything we need to be perfectly well. Big Ag has changed all that, And now we are seeing so much disease. To the woman who asked is it worth paying double for organic? Like I tell my parents in my children… Where better to invest your money than in your sustained health? that budget should come 1st in my opinion. There are options that they say you should only eat organic such as thin skins berries and fruits or things that you will eat the skins.. They readily Absorb Pesticides throughout. the more you eat over a lifetime the more pesticides concentrate in your tissues because we are at the top of the food chain. If you can’t afford to eat all organic there are Easily accessible lists of things you could skip (like bananas, avocados, etc) And things you should never skip( Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, eTC.) And if you’re eating processed foods I wouldn’t spend the extra for organic necessarily… Your body works better on foods that resemble what they look like when they came from the grounds or off the tree. My 2 cents. I am surprised so few physicians have any schooling on Nutrition. It is the 1st defense in keeping us healthy… OK I’ve found my answer. There is no profit in healthy. When both of my brothers had cancer each asked if they should change their Diet. Their doctor’s answer was no!?! There is some great books out there and I referred him there. Good luck everyone and remember you are health is in your hands (for the most part):)

  • I choose ORGANIC. We’ll see the results (REAL RESULTS) in a few years from now. If the population of the world is HALF that of today’s, I’ll feel better about my “expensive” decision… Good luck.

  • Laci, you did not do any research on this topic you are merely spreading conjecture. You make DNews look bad when you don’t back up claims to back up your argument. By the way fertilizers are not used to control weeds, that would be a pesticide or more specifically a herbicide. Way to go, why don’t you go forth and spread more conjecture in your search for affirmation. You are praying on the fear of the masses (AKA our ignorant populations). Get back to the basics and talk about what is scientifically supported don’t tell people what you want to be true.

  • Twelve Lies Organic Lobbyists Commonly Spread about Pesticides – The Risk-Monger
    https://risk-monger.com/2017/09/28/twelve-lies-organic-lobbyists-commonly-spread-about-pesticides/

  • The regulations for chemicals that are allowed for organic farming in the US are very different from regulations in other countries. The EU is more strict for example. So depending on where you live, it might be more worth it to buy organic food.

  • I try to buy organic foods when I have extra change but most times I buy non organic. I care more about what’s in the ingredients labels. We can’t really know if is really organic or not. A lot of times products get mixed and other times being or not organic won’t matter in the final product (such as protein powders).

  • does this guy not understand the difference between the way the term “organic” is used in food labeling and law and the what it’s really supposed to mean? food that’s ACTUALLY ORGANIC is obviously way better for you; if you’ve ever eaten any and have any level of awareness of your body at all, you know this.

  • Organic farms use copper sulfate as a pesticide..very dangerous…organic industry has a marketing program that is not accurate…..copper sulfate goes into water supplies….I worked on organic farms..it’s a scam

  • Always great content. There is a good side to modern food science. Genetic modification to a couple rice strains has reduced malnutrition and disease like malaria in very poor countries.

Smh

  • Hi, have you considered this kind of diet plan called the Custokebon Secrets? My work buddy says it helps people lost tons of weight. Is that possible? I also heard a lot of good review relating to this diet plan. Thoughts?

  • Too bad Laci couldn’t bother to learn something before making this video.  A) Fertilizers do not control weeds.  B) Pesticides help control much more than insects; like, weeds, for example.  SMH.

  • Organic really is not worth it. Like conventional produce, organic is, in fact, grown with fertilizers and pesticides. The only difference is that organic produce has to use natural, not synthetic, pesticides and fertilizers. In fact, “natural fertilizers” usually mean “animal waste” (i.e. shit), which could explain the occasional E.coli contaminations in spinach, tomatoes, and other fruit and vegetable crops.

Also, organic is often out of the price range for most people.

  • The regulations for chemicals that are allowed for organic farming in the US are very different from regulations in other countries. The EU is more strict for example. So depending on where you live, it might be more worth it to buy organic food.

  • I shared this video on my Facebook Page Corrina. it was so helpful as someone who suffers from celiac disease, Leaky gut and an autoimmune disease on top of all that. Organic food slowly has helped my health get Stronger and lessened the symptoms of my health problems.

  • The real question is, is that “Organic” label “Truly Organic” or just a marketing ploy that companies use to simply charge more since people think its better.

  • “Organic” is a politically correct catch phrase now. ANYTHING that has ever lived on this planet is considered “ORGANIC” because it contains the base carbon to produce life in its DNA. Do not get caught  up in this terminology advertisement.

  • How is organic more expensive? Less work into farming but yet more expensive,? It’s just naturally grown no chemicals ect. Just like in the early days doesn’t really matter earth is to polluted anyway. Its just a stupid hipster fad

  • I have lost 70 pounds and I have have learned that you should never shop from the center of the grocery if I ever have to find something in the center of the grocery store I have to ask for help. We use our family Sam card to save money. So that is one why to save money share the cost of the membership.

  • This video is stupid. There are no know health perks to organic food. I’m sorry that just the scientific consensus on the subject.

  • The workout
    1st exercise Burpees x10

2nd exercise Pistol squats x10 on each leg. If you find them had have a chair that you can squat down to

    3rd exercise 90degree handstand push-ups x5
If you can’t do them then you can do a set of pike pressed push ups simply put a box under your feet and stand in plank position and do push-ups from there

Do this workout around 5-6 reps

  • There is SOME people out there who can’t do this…. Ummmm, I think the majority of the global population can’t do these 90 degree pushups.

  • Hi, I have been trying to gain weight and right now I’m at 153 LBS and 6 FT. 20 years old. Will these exercises give me more mass? Currently only working out with a kettlebell since my gym is closed. Also how do I stop myself from feeling hungry all the time, I feel like no matter how much I eat I’ll get hungry really quick trying to get all my protein in for the day.

  • How about citing just 1 scientific article when answering that kind of question? You are basicly just saying what you think is “scary” about stuff like bacteria, without explaining why it’s bad. You are just treating it like a “bad word”. You have massive gaps in your knowledge on the subject.

  • What I do is buy organic vitamins (Garden of Life) and just buy basic things. If I wanna eat something more, I’ll buy the ingredients and use all of it. I save money that way while also get nutrients through vitamins. All organic.

  • how can i make non-organic fruits and vegetables better? by taking the skin off the apples, etc, perhaps?huhu. because organic fruits and vegetables are too expensive for me huhu

  • Scientists estimate that if we switched to 100% organic farming, we could feed 4 billion people. Which 3 billion people are you willing to let starve to death?

  • the new study has been critized, because it included several low quality studies:

    http://www.geneticliteracyproject.org/2014/07/17/skepticism-over-claims-that-organic-food-is-healthier/

  • Share your tips on how you save money buying organic food. Also, what do you think about organic and non-gmo foods? Leave your comments below.

  • They easiest way to grow organic food is to package your food in containers that say they are organic. Not only that, but then you can double the price.

  • I just cannot deal with the lame camera cuts and moving like you’re rapping to the camera. I guess he appeals to the cali fan boys. Can’t show an exercise without some ghetto beats haha. Just go outside and do some risky exercises 90% of people can’t do and then eat some veggies. Also get some more tats. Absolutely life changing advice

  • Crop rotation has been around since i was in school and farmers use it,,,”Organic” food shipped from California to virgina is NOT any better then non organic
shipped from Ohio,, So whats your point? If anyone is buying “Organic” on sale it`s not fresh It`s 1 day away from the pig farm where the pigs enjoy it making them “Organic” pigs Plant a garden

  • When it comes to meat I think that getting it organic and grass fed makes a huge difference. Getting more omega 3 to omega 6 in that way. Plus you can actually tell the difference in taste.

  • me: man i need a better diet i feel really awful lately. wow a cool eat healthy vido i hope he doesnt tell me to do excercises, since i have an ear infection
    this d00d: excersice time

  • I had organic carrots from big uk supermarket and they tasted bad in fact I threw them away. I hear organic is really not organic as chemicals are also sprayed on these so called organic fruits and veg.

  • Wow, fantastic video. The speaker goes into prevention in general so much that the video title doesn’t do it justice. Great work!

    @t
Now why do you suppose organic food is so expensive?? Imagine what 3 billion dollars could do for humanitarian goals end a different disease forever every year…. End all hunger in at least one country…… Funding nasty propaganda? Really??

  • ive work at a few grocery stores now and I can say without a doubt that i have never seen nor heard of a grocery store spraying its produce with chemicals. For one the USDA would have to be involved with all treatments going on the produce. I personally dont like it when people claim that GMO’s are terrible. We have a world hunger issue and we are literally growing food without taking up land. we can use gmo’s to help stop or at least slow down world hunger till we can find a permanent solution. I am very PRO GMO’s, i think they are a fantastic way of helping our planet out. Now don’t get me wrong im not saying stop selling organics but if we can prolong the life of produce to help other people eat it using preservatives and other means than why is that a bad thing?

  • This is rubbish! Do your research! Why do you think cancer and autism are more common now? Do your research before pushing the wrong agenda in us

  • ive work at a few grocery stores now and I can say without a doubt that i have never seen nor heard of a grocery store spraying its produce with chemicals.

  • This is laughable propaganda. A recent study in JAMA showed that eating organic lowered the chances of getting many kinds of cancer by 25%. THINK FOR YOURSELF!

  • Organic produce can travel as much as conventional produce. In AZ it goes from Mexico to Colorado then back to Arizona. By the time you get it home typical only has a couple days to be eaten.

  • We grow our own stuff and have a walled garden next to us who grow various berries, potatoes, veggies and fruits, our milk is regular pasteurised though any meats or fish we try to get un processed very helpful video Corrina, I hope more people decide to go to farmers markets or grow their own

  • Has to be grown in decent soil as well as the lack of pesticide use. I try to buy it whenever/wherever I can. It’s definitely worth the price in terms of health. You could buy cheap veggies that are full of water, or you could buy organic foods that are full of flavour (and nutrition). The extra cost is well worth it.

  • I use a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar in a spray bottle for a vegetable wash also use it for cutting board and counter cleaning.

  • 5 minutes per day!?! Nazi Farmers! Organic is Healthier and True Free Range is Empathetic Kerry Gold Butter, Organic Quinoa, Free Range Eggs is just smart.

  • I think you brought forth some valid point there, Corrina. I eat about 40% of my calories from organic food, I simply can’t afford to go fully organic, though visiting the farmers market is sometimes cheaper than the supermarket.

  • I’d say yes! Organic food is worth the extra money! I buy organic when I can. Not only is it healthier but I’m happy I’m supporting something I believe in and I know its non GMOs. However organic icecream is still icecream lol it may be a little healthier but still junk food.

  • I worked on several organic farms…all use pesticides…copper sulfate is the worst…it kills everything….it polluted the water supply…its organic but sheer poison……organic is a scam…NEVER buy organic

  • This video is fake news. There is no proven benefits beyond the smug sense of self satisfaction you get from being privileged enough to pay 3X the cost for the same thing while others can’t afford food at all.

  • This is rubbish! Do your research! Why do you think cancer and autism are more common now? Do your research before pushing the wrong agenda in us

  • 5 minutes per day!?! Nazi Farmers! Organic is Healthier and True Free Range is Empathetic Kerry Gold Butter, Organic Quinoa, Free Range Eggs is just smart.

  • in conclusion, if you have a ton of money and are really into the healthy hype more than other issues in your life, yeah. give it a go. otherwise no.

  • I’d say yes! Organic food is worth the extra money! I buy organic when I can. Not only is it healthier but I’m happy I’m supporting something I believe in and I know its non GMOs. However organic icecream is still icecream lol it may be a little healthier but still junk food.
