Therefore, when considering supplements, it is wise to look at the training program goals and first determine what an athlete needs—strength, speed, size, aerobic endurance, agility, better overall skills, or a combination of these— and then decide if supplements can expedite the training goals.

  • So… if you have a good diet, you dont need suplements, and if you have a shitty diet you should fix your diet, ergo you dont need supplements aswell.

  • Humans get HEARTWORM, just exactly like DOGS DO, yet when was the last time you EVER heard of a HUMAN being treated for them? Want to know WHY? Because the evil system we have makes TONS more money on HEART DISEASE than on treating the REAL culprit called HEARTWORM! And LIFELONG CARE after heart surgery is HIGHLY LUCRATIVE! This is onlt ONE example of how PARASITES are deliberately ignored and denied by our medical mafia system. Parasites can and do imitate a wide range of other diseases, all of which are very lucrative rather than treating the real problem of parasites.

  • SPOILER: You do not need any supplement unless you have some kind of medical problem, like being Black in Minnesota and in need of extra Vitamin D.

  • My dad was diagnosed with macular degeneration 10 years ago (“dry” in one eye) and immediately started taking “eye supplements” based on the AREDS study. 10 years later (82 yrs old) he still has vision in both eyes, still does engineering design on his computer with mild and “dry” macular degeneration in both eyes, and only uses glasses for magnification when reading. Since his diagnosis he hasn’t seen an eye doctor one single time. His sister did not take supplements until late in the game and has to routinely have a large needle stuck in her eye and has lost sight in one eye completely and the other is now “wet”. It could be a coincidence but not according to the AREDS study.

  • I love your supplement case!! I started taking supplements seriously 5/16 & it has made a huge change in my health in a positive way. Also in mental health. Women, especially are deficient in vitamin D & depression is a huge symptom! I noticed you don’t take calcium & am curious why. Awesome video!!

  • Thanks for listing the names of the vitamins.  I’m really bad at taking vitamins at all.  My biggest problem is trying to swallow them.  But after seeing your video there are some that I definitely need to take.

  • The only supplements I have been taking are creatine and whey protein. I eat a ton of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains in addition to lean meats. I feel great and can preform in the gym.

  • I loves the Supplement Made by Natures Brands Phyto vitamins series,Those all are organically made with real fruits and Vegetables and veggie capsules as well.
    I absolutely recommend their Supplements.

  • consider a NutriGenetic approach to supplementation so you know root cause of conditions, and a science-based understanding of how well your enzymes (genes) work in the metabolic and inflammatory pathways… not everyone should take glutamine, for example! The NGRI test with organic acids test will indicate what you need. I like the organization, but some supps are to be taken 3x/day.

  • Wow, what an awesome pill organizer! Have you ever considered taking Turmeric? It has great benefits! I ❤️ when I get a notification that you posted a video! Keep the great work coming for all of us to watch & get inspired Also, this is a little off track, but I saw something when I was out shopping & you were the 1st person that came to my mind when I saw it, so I bought it. Do you accept gifts from your viewers? It’s cute & honesty the shipping will probably cost more than the item, but just needed to get it. Let me know

  • Wow, this is literally the worst information I’ve ever seen in an MD’s public presentation. Indigenous people have V-D blood levels well over 100, yet he’s saying 20 is plenty despite it being considered seriously deficient even by the FDA’s recommendations, which are already far too low according to medical research. He says over 50 is too high…what???

This guy doesn’t even read basic medical research, it’s like he used Wikipedia or more like a 1875 newspaper article to research for this lecture.

MD’s discovered 10-15 years ago if they get someone’s levels over 75 if not higher it drastically reduces cancer risk & increases the immune system more than just about anything else currently known. These doctors were even completely reversing early prostate cancers w just high levels of vitamin D.

My own doctor says there is no known upper limit, and all that was based on 1 horrible study filled w many obvious errors and the false assumptions based on them. His patients are their healthiest w levels well over 100. Levels under 75 have been shown to increase cancer risk substantially.

  • I know I’m late but why does Mike’s beard/goatee looking unaligned? I noticed his beard isn’t full which is normal but looks like the goatee is some sort of a barber gone wrong

  • Just ordered mine today. I don’t take my supplements on a regular basis and I know this will help. Im also a breast cancer survivor and need to be more diligent with those.

  • Excellent video man!

I think lots of people have a one-size-fits all approach to this stuff. Appreciate that you’re taking a customized approach to this!

That said, here are my top 3 Supps:

    1) Omega-3s
    2) Greens Powder
    3) Vitamin D

Thanks Mike for value! Peace man

  • I’ve been looking forward to this video all week! I’ve been super curious as to what all you take and I definitely could use some to help my skin!!

  • Mike took a D.N.A. test. Turns out 95% of his D.N.A. comes from Africa, 5% is Irish, 10% is from Chile, and 25% from Kansas. Man! These D.N.A. family tests are so accurate!!!

  • For breakfast I often eat an onion sautéed in Extra Virgin Olive Oil(EVOO), 2 to three eggs, 2 slices of uncured bacon, and maybe a tomato, or pickles, and/or whole grain garlic bread. Does this sound o.k for losing weight? I am about 270 lbs., 5’11”, and large framed, and I am told I am muscular. I am, fat, as you can see if you go to my channel. I am fairly active, and occasionally go through times of working out daily. I just cannot seem to drop fat. When I have tracked my calories, they were usually not over 2,300. Any ideas? My goal body would be Dean Cain, during the 1990’s. I am planning to write to him to ask for advice. When I workout, I often do single arm curls. Usually 55 lbs. per arm. 5-10 reps, 4 sets. Squats were 40 reps, bodyweight. Any advice would be nice. Thanks.

  • I heard supplements that come in dark brown glass bottles are light sensitive & I noticed the pill planner is clear on the bottom _ also heard magnets can have a BAD effect on things like computers or cell phones, which makes me wonder can magnets have any kind of bad effect on supplements?

  • Hi Mike and readers, check out Rhonda Patrick (found my fitness) Lots of really interesting health related info she shares. And keep up the good work! Tnx!

  • I have really a big problem.. I’m getting tired during the day especially after eating I feel like I’m dying and it’s killing my gain.. I can’t even progress in gym I still with the same weights.. I can’t figured out how to deal with it.. btw I’m having this problem since I was a kid

  • Don’t listen to the ads that say NOT to eat TOMATOES if you have arthritis. Eating TOMATOES once or twice a week lowers your chance of HEART ATTACK by FORTY PERCENT! So why is this scumbag saying NOT to eat them? EAT TOMATOES and EAT ORANGE FOODS like YAMS, SWEET POTATO, PUMPKIN, and WINTER SQUASH. These orange foods cured me instantly of a very bad stomach pain that I had for MONTHS and I thought was probably cancerous. So TRY these foods for CANCER and see! God Himself told me to eat orange. I’m a Christian and sometimes God does talk to me. He’s the one who said EAT ORANGE. Not oranges, but the orange food listed above. He also said LYCOPENE, which is found in TOMATOES. I think it’s terrible that ad is telling elderly people NOT to eat them! I wrote to that man, too. No response yet. I should also add that eating the orange foods REALLY helps mental function and improves MOOD as well. Can be amazing improvement immediately after eating these foods.

  • Awesome video Charlotte!  I just went to order one and they don’t ship to Australia:( Amazon likes to mess these things up for me from time to time lol

  • A little birth control tip, something to add to your list of options maybe:) I have the Mirena coil which I love, works so well, no periods most of the time and it gives out hormones gradually. My skin is cleared up a lot since I stopped taking the pill and went over to this coil. I thought it might help you.
Loves this video btw, helped me a lot.

  • There is no confidence is his speech, like grasping at straws and not simply looking for the right words. Quite a bit of valuable information missing from his conclusions, and let’s not forget that the majority of studies are paid for by pharmaceutical companies. Hard to award credibility when bias is used in which studies are referenced. Disinformation causes more havoc than blatant lies. But again, he is a doctor of medicine, not of nutrition.

  • depending on where you live and how you eat you most likely have a vitamin deficiency somewhere. my mother was anemic and deficient in b-12. MY sports medicine doctor gave me mivitol for her to try. in a few weeks she said she felt better. after 4 weeks she looked so much better. most people don´t eat a diet that covers your back. a good vitamin is an insurance policy just like for when your car breaks down. if you are average, take a high quality multi. anyone that does not agree is simply an idiot.

  • Funny how he says we should get our vitamins and minerals from food, but to him the cost of organic food is not worth it, even though organic food is often higher in vitamins and minerals. He says the Dietary supplements Act of 1994 (DSHEA) prevented the FDA from regulating supplements. That’s totally false of course. That law was necessary to prevent the industry captured FDA from banning safe supplements merely because they competed with pharmaceutical patent medicine sold by large corporations. People were fed up with that, and that law stopped it.

  • Thank you for being honest! I really do not like taking supplements, especially capsules, because it feels like I am taking meds and like if I were dependent from them…

  • 25% off ALL supplements and all sortiment at Myprotein! Check it out here: http://www.myprotein.com/referrals.list?applyCode=DHOB-R1&li

  • Great presentation. Summary: unless you are old and frail and female and need calcium/vitamin D to prevent osteoporosis, “you’re better off spending the money on real food.”

  • this is over 7 years old. things are different now. how about a revision, please. yet to take on board all of the comments here. a revision might be too much to ask for…

  • Really disappointed with his lecture…nearly every study shows and reinforces the ignorance of the medical profession. He gleefully tells us the med diet works and extends longevity because fish is a major part of it…which is a vital source of vitamin D and..and omega 3 then goes on to tell anyone who hasn’t fallen asleep its waste of time taking the very same nutrients…why no mention of minerals and K2?
This buffoon is a shill….working on behalf of the pharmaceutical (big harmer) industry….you know the one who once told us smoking is good for you….a little ethanol works wonders…and the big causal elephant no one wants to address…corn fructose.

  • What is the best product or brand to lost lots of fat? I read many good opinions on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can help you lost lots of weight. Has any one tested out this popular fat burn methods?

  • i take protein, mutivitamins, fish oil i also eat health and lift after school and do workouts with my football trainer and i also run track

  • So, there is benefit in taking fish oil, but not if you take statins. Given there is no benefit in taking statins, why would you push statins rather than fish oil unless you’re a shill for big pharma?

  • These sorts of studies are very variable. Following a group for 10 years assumes that everything else is EXACTLY the same for each individual. But, each person is very different. Diet, Drinking, Sloth, obesity… People are, to some extent, unique. Long-term studies are ok at estimates, but they can never compare equals. No group of 10,000 people are EXACTLY the same. The best judge of efficacy is how our bodies benefit from supplementation Sero (blood levels) of the supplement and how that supplement’s absence relates to illness.

  • Hey man I love your videos and I’m a big supporter but this video really annoyed me. I’ve been in the fitness industry for years and I’ve had thousands of clients and I’ve even worked at GNC. Don’t get involved with all this supplement bullshit man it’s a huge business and a big scam. Keep your credibility. People don’t need supplements and we never will need them the supplement industry are the biggest liars in the world. People need to hear the truth not all this supplement bs. Hope you take my advice as best as possible. I love your videos man but don’t do this type of stuff.

  • This is shameful. I am here because prescription medications gave me kidney disease and now I have developed autoimmune issues. My diet has been healthy since birth, raised on whole foods, vegetarian diet and now I eat fish. I’ve always been extremely fit. I look 15 years younger than my age, I have worked diligently to keep my health in great shape, yet here I am. Unfortunately I started having massive pain with my periods, took 30 years to have a gyno finally believe the severity of my pain. I was over prescribed NSAIDS. Now I’m attempting to reverse all the damage and manage my pain with vitamins, herbs and other supplements. I’ve already reversed from stage 3 to stage 2 CKD. I’m taking up to 8000 IU vitamin D, I am dark skinned, so even with those high levels and living in Florida w/plenty of time in sun, my level is 43. Clearly not even close to dangerous. It’s good, but I’m trying to get to 50, especially with the autoimmunity, I’m going to have to increase my dose. Combined with increased vitamin D levels (they used to be in the teens!), I also take oregano oil on the rare time I feel off, during flu season, and now w/covid going around, haven’t gotten sick in over 3 years. This guy clearly works for pharma and has no desire in helping anyone live a healthy life.

  • Oh & YES, please take magnesium Glycinate & or magnesium L-theronate (for brain clarity, focus & overall well being! PLEASE, look up & research these to types of magnesium! You will definitely be glad you did!

  • Wow, this is quite unbelievable for me as a German as we are mostly told to not take any supplements but just eat healthy. So I don’t know how to feel about it 😉 But it definitely is so interesting, how life’s different in different countries! Anyways, thank you so much for your videos! Always looking forward to seeing you:-*

  • I am glad that you said that they are not needed at the beginning. Love your channel. Keep doing your thing. Do a video on how to buy a high-quality leather jacket.

  • I’m new to this. Can someone explain to me why he is getting so much hate in the comments? And also, why are people saying he’s getting payed from Big Pharma, when, surely, he is actually saying don’t bother buying so many pills, which would technically make him against the interests of Big Pharma? Thanks.

  • Hello, Charlotte! I love your happy and grateful outlook on life! I was wondering, would you ever consider making a video about your experience with birth control, why you switched and what the transition was like? I would really love to see it if you did. I understand it’s a personal subject though so I totally understand if you don’t want to. I hope everything is going well there in California (besides the virus, obviously) and that you and Nick are both safe and healthy! Thanks for all your wonderful videos!

  • Went to $1 Store and purchased 2 of the big MondaySunday pill boxes. I use one for am and one for pm.
The case you have is definitely one I am going to look into

  • That’s what you get a broken health care system/ society when you get a doctor, MD and an educator talking nonsense. I know better than he. Smh. Can’t even finish. Quit after 20 minutes.

  • I just discovered you this past weekend when I was in bed sick with the flu. I have officially binge watched all of your videos and now I’m watching kgmtl as well. You have totally influenced me to start a new lifestyle and I am so excited about it. Thanks so much for all of your help and I am so excited to follow you on your YouTube journey!

  • I had this video on in the background as I’m doing some work, and now that I’m reading these extraordinarily negative comments, I’ll have to go back and listen more carefully. Now I’m wondering if the largely unregulated, multi billion dollar supplement industry is behind some of these comments and are from “plant” commenters from that industry on YouTube. The comment from Ryan Cole, MD, sounds legitimate about magnesium. (I’ve heard the soils were depleted, but didn’t know what they were depleted of and I found Ryan Cole on Google). Towards the end, this presenter references the diet that is the most beneficial (Mediterranean, Seventh day Adventist’s study with is a blue zone area), and at least this is entirely consistent with the articles and studies I’ve read from Harvard Medical Review over the past year. I’ve personally since adopted a mostly whole food, plant based diet, without processed foods, or sugar, and take vitamin D3 daily (I’m low), B12, folate from time to time. He also references an article out of Consumer Reports on supplements, and the supplement industry overall, and I subscribe to that as well and I distinctly remember that article, and I think I even kept that article from a few years ago. I will always trust academia, the medical community, and nonbiased and nonprofit consumer advocacy organizations any day over the sleazy “supplement” industry. Frankly, I think that supplement industry should be regulated by the FDA also it is not right now. These “supplement companies” can claim anything in their ads and sell just about anything to consumers who don’t have time to validate their claims. Overall, some of these comments sound really suspicious.

  • Haha this beta should be the last talking about fitness hes just a skinny beta with no heart to put in any real work, when i started working out i was 110 pounds in the army, 4 years later 210 pounds after hitting the gym hard every day and eating 8 times a day, theres no such thing as a hard gainer, but there is such thing as a pussy giving himself that excusse like this idiot

  • Questionare these supplements factory made? Beta carotene is only one of several carotnes, Vit C is more than as or if acidit naturally occurs with various bioflavonoids, and Vit E is more than the normally consumed dltocopherolthere are several tocopherols and triocenols in the Vit E complex. All supplements I am aware of and likely used in these studies use only one factor in the complex, which may be the why of the detrimental effects. I would like to see availability of supplements of complete vitamin complexes and studies based on these.

  • Supplements only make up 10% in your Nutritional pyramid, you can absoloutely train without em. Do they help? sure, but they are nowhere near “necesarry” as marketed

  • I do one shake every morning with kale, chard, spinach, avocado, kiwi and a scoop of protein and I dont supplement at all. I feel much better now then when I had a closet full of supps I was taking.

  • Doctor, It is laughable to fear monger vitamins and minerals. There are countless thousands
of deaths each year from simple aspirin. Latrogenic death is several hundred thousand per year
Just as all fats are not the same, (EPA, DHA, sterols, MCT’s etc..) all viamins are not formulated
the same. Supplements depend on dose, formula, timing, and with food or not.
His observational data consists of a multitude of variable confounders, which
The vitamin E study was a synthetic, not a natural full complex of tocopherols.
He knows enough to think he knows what he is talking about, but not enough to know what he doesn’t know.

  • There has often been the problem with calcium supplements and lead. How are calcium supplements purified and is lead somehow precipitated out? Sometimes dolomite is used as a natural supplement which might not me good.

  • Looking at all the negative comments, all I can say is just because it works for you, does not mean it will work for the general population. Many got better because they changed their diet and lifestyle.

  • This Video presentation was from 2013 and as far as I can see it, it is outdated, since it does not mention the role of Vitramin K2! For this is a real game changer as far as the use of Vitamin D3 goes! As far as I have read, Vitamin D3 creates a Protien! This Protein needs Vitmain K2 to enable it to take Calcium and plug it into the bones! Since D3 and K2 go together, this Vitamin D3 study here should be re-evaluated in a new study, showing both Vitamin D3 together with K2!

  • In addition to the obvious cherry picking, he committed intellectual suicide the second he praised statins as the holy grail. This entire channel has some kind of poorly perfumed religious/vegan stench to it.

  • The vitamin C studies that these guys love to use to show its ineffectiveness use less than 1g a day. You gotta be kidding me big pharma trolls. people take 10grams+ a day. 100+ grams a day when you have severe illness.

  • D3 also helps keep you in a good mood. That’s why in winter months some people can suffer from depression due to the deficiency of sunlight. I’d also look for a new BCAA product. MusclePharm has been in more lawsuits than Carter had liver pills.

  • Yes, I too am guilty of jumping through diet plan to others as well, I think that I must have tried every weight-loss system that was available, but in the end not one of them helped me to shed and maintain the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time with the Custokebon Secrets mainly because my cooworker who told me awesome things about it and so far to date I’ve effectively lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks!

  • Lucky I wasn’t there!!!! If we run out of time I’ll be happy afterwards to answer your quest. WTF,,, expert is unaware of chemtrails and we don’t have no time left!!! Aluminum is decimating us and this little shit says nutrients which would are useless until we rectify chemtrails. Total shill total waste total pussy punk

  • You actually saying that need is wrongly used all the time is great, on this and your other supplement video. Not too often is a sponsored video/person honest that most of them are not needed. In the online fitness world, more of this is needed.

  • The way he speaking is like hiding the truth, the study carry out for a long time and vary vague. Which journals published this study?

  • Best fitness health overall content by anyone on Youtube Informative and you always back it up with real research and go out and meet the people with studies behind it

  • People are talking about missing vitamins and minerals, but they don’t talk about the lack of proteins. Enzymes are essentials for vitamins.

  • They dismiss Vit C as their studies are using low doses. They, presenting, are paid for by the pharms so people will buy half their posion.

  • Where’s the evidence that vitamins has actually killed people? p<.00000000001. Because I've got a stack of evidence of harmful pharmaceuticals; starting with thalidomide. Then,of course, pharmaceutical drugs are only effective in about 50%of cases yet the drug and insurance and medical triad charge a stack of money based on little. There have been no breakthroughs in antidepressants since 1960's really. But-when it suits doctors advocate taking B12, B6, B3, D3,

  • Great information thanks so much! Just wondering….if you sign up for the planner give away are you signed up for all 3 of your giveaways? Haven’t seen on Instagram about 3 separate places to sign up. Your skin is gorgeous! I am suffering with super dry skin with the cold and the dry heaters trying to stay warm….Thanks for sharing your tips.

  • The main reason I think Most folks don’t have a “balanced nutritious diet” is because were to busy with work and life. Ain’t Nobody Got time to go out and research healthy food, go shopping and cook. lol

  • Or the comments are mainly from representatives of the Vitamins and Supplements industry not wanting that truth and evidence erode their brainwashed market.

  • The more I watch your videos the more I see how much we have in common. Gluten free, horses, planner junkie, skincare lover, knee issues, and now supplement sisters! Haha. I take about the same amount every day and am going to have to look into this container. I haven’t been able to find anything big enough. I have just been using old prescription containers one for morning and one for night. Have you made sure all your supplements are gluten free? I’m on a soy, gluten and dairy free lifestyle and amazed at how much the manufacturers hide in the coatings even.

Also I did want to mention a few things. Be careful with L-lysine as it is known to be taxing on the kidneys. And I’m a huge fan of bee propolis. I know you mentioned you don’t always take the candida yeast cleanser. Bee propolis is actually doing the same thing. It’s known to balance candida as well.

  • Brother, I love all your videos and it’s really great you keep up to your promises. Thanks a lot for this video, I was just waiting for your video to buy my supplements

  • Love your channel man I really do but please stick to fashion, the nutrition stuff and work out stuff should be left for the you tubers that specialize in that. Fitness is good and all but I watch you for fashion and must haves and what you like to wear not to see your routine….

  • Thank you for this! I take 25 supplements every day. Some of them, especially the oils are ridiculous horse pill size. I have to carry around two big cases with me every day. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Already purchased!

  • I just saw this video, and the manufacturer listened to you because there’s a coral one now (well, it’s pink-ish) with mint! I’m going to buy it because it’ll force me to take my vitamins everyday and it’s actually big enough to hold everything! Thanks for the recommendation.:-)

  • Its amazing that you can make taking a lot of pills seem like fun. I used to have to take asthma meds daily so im relieved and blessed to not have to take any pills daily. You have inspired me to get regular with at least a multi. I tend to buy vitamins and not take them. Currently i have vitamin e, c, b complex and multi. Ill probably get omega 3,6,9 or fish oil and something for my gut. Thank you for sharing.

  • Interesting disclaimer first thing in the video. So this entire video is clickbait then? Because it’s pretty easy to use words to describe what you mean in a title Mike Thurston. This is why I hate you. I am unsubscribing for the fourth fucking time. smdh

  • I’m totally on board with C, but I’m using the powder form sodium ascorbate.. you can’t overdose on C, and even if you pee out you “C” you’ve picked up the electron for you mitochondria.

  • @Mike Thurston, please do a video of how you blokes in England deal with balding. I am 38 and losing a lot of top hair. I have for years.

  • This guy is totally obsolete!!! Especially regarding Vitamin D!!! I take 10,000 iu a day (250mg) & it helps so much with depression & osteoporosis! I do not take any medications/ prescriptions & am almost 73 years old & am very active, grow my garden & feel great! I do take the other supplements I’ve mentioned below as well!

  • What a great pill case! I guess I’m a Granny too because I’ve struggled to find one big enough for all my supplements. Thanks for all the tips!

  • According to what you said in this video, it was all white people on the earth in the beginning. So because the body did not need so much vitamin D, the people of the earth began to turn black skinned to block the production of too much vitamin D. Stick to what you know to be the facts about “Vitamins & Supplements” and stop making up shit to go along for the reason why. Paleoanthropology science facts will show that you dip shitting into what you don’t know when you start talking about the reasons”WHY”.Otherwise, good video.

  • Dude you have a great fashion channel, but you have no fucking idea about nutrition, supplements or fitness, just leave it to the experts….

  • supplements when taken correctly are helpful. but if you are eating crap, not sleeping / resting recovering, it wont help much overall.

  • Thank you for sharing this has been very helpful. I didn’t know about some of the vitamins you shared and have already placed orders.

  • Love the pill organizer! Going to order it!!! Do you ever take gummy vitamins? I take the hair skin and nails but the gummies.  Do you feel there’s a difference?

  • It is such a great idea for the medicine/supplement app. I often need to keep a record of what I take when I go to my doctor visits. I’m looking forward to all of your advice in this series. Thank you. I always say that when I leave a comment for you but you give a lot of time and effort in helping us out. So thank you its very appreciated. Oh yeah I was wondering if you could give me the name of the jade face roller you use?

  • hey Mike, i started taking vitamin D3 and magnesium to help me with my sleeping. since i started taking them my sleeping habits have improved immensely!! i also take multivitamins, and have noted a great improvement. i`m more alert, and i feel better and stronger (not in the gym per say, i mean more in everyday life). my diet has improved a lot since my open heart surgery almost 2 and a 1/2 years ago. maybe i need the vitamins because i am older now, i just turned 68 on April 10th, 2019. thank you so much for sharing my friend, with love from Wes!!! hugs!!!

  • Thanks for the information especially about L-Glutamine. Sugar craving is my worst enemy and I need to destroy it. I’ll definitely get it.

  • What works for me.
    Whey isolate Protine
Obviously other people will have differing results with other suppliments, but these three are what I’ve narrowed down as working for me, combined with eating healthy.

  • I love this channel, but Jose’s English bugs me so much I always find myself correcting his English, which is his first language by the way. The way he talks is so cringey.

  • what’s the best tasting flavor of ON whey? I have extreme milk chocolate, which is great, but i want to try something that isn’t chocolate flavored for a change.

  • This was super informative, thanks for sharing with us! I really want to get better about organizing and supplements! You totally sold me on the pill case…

  • Hello Charlotte! Thank you for the video. I’m definitely ordering my vitamins. I’m like your husband i feel like I’m sick if I’m taking all those pills. I will start with skin and multivitamins for now. I went on amazon and you are so right they are not cheap

  • Le seul supplément que les Hommes aient besoin c’est un supplément de motivation et de ténacité. ( + un peu de cerveau également )

  • I read the comments. It seems that most comments are from people who have no understanding of what an evidence based study is. Americans are generally people afflicted with a very inertial system of preconceived ideas. They are not used to consider anything outside of their certainties because America is very much self contained. There is a world of truth outside of their limited domain of ideas, like there are other great countries outside of America and other industries than Armement.
Science is evidence based, not anecdotical.

  • Just eat right, its not hard and not exspensive. Use an app called “Cronometer” to track your intake. I will pay you $100 if you can find an adult who needs BCAA or Protein supplements to get enough in America. Multi-vitamin can decrease life-span. Whey and Caseine is not healthy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0S-vkbdV2c

  • How often do you drink? Do you find that when you drink that your memory gets affected and how much does it impact your training afterwards? Thanks

  • Another great video! Thanks for sharing! Have you looked into turmeric supplements? They’re supposed to be super anti inflammatory.

  • Shame on this and YOU. They just published in all the national news outlets that cases of sepsis are now being healed with vitamin C IVs. A study was just presented out of Virginia Tech on the percentage of patients that survived ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome which is end stage..) being much higher in the Vitamin C group than in the placebo group. What nerve to say I must “do no harm” and then gloss over the monumental evidence that has been published in the last 10 years.. People don’t listen to this!!! Read the studies out of the national institute of health for REAL information on studies. This guy is ON THE PAYROLL OF BIG PHARMA.

  • Another observation is that the way this speaker, and almost all medical industry workers, present the studies, is at best scientifically superficial. Hardly any discussion of mechanism, etc. Do these people understand biochemistry, metabolic pathways,…? Everything is treated as a black box. We gave a bunch of people this, and a bunch of people this, and gathered some data. Here’s some stats. This isn’t even really science, and I don’t think most workers in this industry even know or care what science is. If a physicist tried to present “research” in this way, they’d be laughed off the stage. “We measured 136 tennis ball trajectories in the 2016 Wimbledon tournament…. We found no statistical difference between the number of tennis balls rising and those falling….. We conclude that the hypothetical existence of gravitation was not supported.”

  • When exactly u have to take them morning/evening… And do you take them if it is free day? And how many times a day and what amount?

  • you know the best results i ever got was when i ate clean, and only used (on top my diet) hemp seed to get all possible amino acids, & and bulk barn whey protein powder 90% pure. everything else is a waste of $.

  • The recommendation value for vitamins has remained the same for the past 40 to 50 years! Times has changed doc, wake up, the crops & foods most average Americans eat now have much less nutritional value now, therefore supplement value amount has increased & deemed necessary unless you grow your own, buy GMO free Whole Foods & grain free meat! Most don’t or can’t afford to consume them regularly but can afford a good one a day vitamin plus maybe a few supplements. Vitamin B complex, D3 & Vitamin C @ 1,000 mg a day is very, very good on a regular basis! Stay far away from flu vaccines, cholesterol drugs are totally nasty as are all statin drugs! Do your research throughly!!! Try viewing Dr. Berg on YouTube!

  • Mike I mean this from my heart, you are the most honest, open minded, objective person I have ever watched on YouTube. You sir have my upmost respect. Thank you for such great information

  • 500 600 mg Vit. C??! The actual research states that you should take at least 5000mg (5g) Vit. C a day. Especially in the Corona Times. If you want to reinforce your immune system, add 5000 I.u. Vit. D3, at least 100 microgramms MK7 (a kind of Vit. K) in the all-trans form, 200 microgramms Selenium every 2 days and at least 400-500 mg Magnesium (But search for the bioavailable form, not MgO).. Good luck in those Days

  • Fun fact, ATP is also known as adenosine triphosphate.. which is what your food will be turned into unless you’re doing nothing in which case will be stored as glycogen

  • Here’s my thoughts on it.
    1. Vitamins? cool I’ve been taking opti-men for the last 6 years or so. I do notice when I don’t take it. Balancing those micro-nutrients is important.
    2. Omega 3 also good to have around, but if you eat a lot of fish like sardines, mackerel, salmon it’s not a must really, the anti inflammatory effect is not that huge say as eating/drinking your leafy greens. it’s more to balance your omega6/3 balance. it’s also good quick source of fat when you take you vitamins some are liposoluble(A, D, E, K) so it helps because you may not have fat with some of your meals.
    3. Vitamin D3 you have some in your multivitamins, not in huge quantities so supplementing with extra is nice especially for darker skin people, especially in winter but in Florida you guys have it easy with the sun exposure.
    4. Some might disagree but whey might not be a good source for everyone especially those sensitive to lactose after all with every shake you get a 2 grams or more of lactose from a whey concentrate, that’s enough to mess with your system, might get breakouts and stuff. Don’t get me wrong, it’s convenient and it’s a nice “drink snack” it tastes great from ON, but you can just skip all together if you’re not a on the go constantly person you may want to replace it with some marinated fish or other quick to eat protein sources.
    5. Because most are just whey compressed in pill form anyway I’d drop the BCAAs and replace them with Glucosamine and Collagen (also has some beneficial amino acids and it’s a clean source) research shows it actually helps a lot with joint repair in post op patients so it will definitely help in the gym as you get older, also helps with skin too and helps those fruitcake vegetarians(for the glycine quantity)
    6. Creatine monohydrate for those who want a bit more water retention to look more ‘swole’ all the time. Some say you may retain size after you stop taking it, some are on it all the time, it’s not bad, just not always that helpful.

So yea, good stack you have there, you may get some flak because you covered a lot of subjects which some may disagree and some people are all against supplements(oh em gee those tinfoil hats cuz industries$ ) but good vid overall.

  • uhhh…ummmm. a, a, a,a, uhh umm, a,a, ummmm ummm ummm. For god sake! if your loss for words pause in silence! That will help you re-group and take better control of your delivery

  • Premature graying is a sign of being DEFICIENT in Copper, B-12, 6, biotin, D and E. Exactly which foods are you not eating that influences hair to gray early? Maybe you should supplement!

  • When he tried to suggest that increased vitamin C increases your likelihood to die that’s when I turn that off. this guy’s an idiot.

  • unless your diet consists of exclusively bread, you dont need most supplements. But if you’re gonna take any in the first take them for 3 months then quit for 3 months so the nutrients dont add up and cause toxicity except zinc that isnt stored in the body and toxicity occurs rarely above 50mg a day plus it also depletes your copper levels cause 1 antagonizes the other

  • Thank you so much for sharing this! I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, and need to take a lot of supplements, as well as having a lot of vitamin deficiencies to deal with. I used to be such an organized person, but this disease causes cognitive problems that makes it so difficult for me to manage this stuff. The organizer you have sounds perfect for me! Btw, 10 years ago I learned the hard way how dangerous deficiencies can be. All at the same time, I had a severe Vitamin D deficiency that was causing a ton of pain (even in my bones), almost no iron in my blood, and a very severe B12 deficiency. The B12 deficiency was so severe doctors thought I had MS, because it mimics MS, but nothing was showing on scans. I became so disabled, I could barely walk or speak, was developing dementia, was losing feeling in my limbs….and a list of other terrifying symptoms. They finally realized they forgot to check all that basic stuff when they did my initial blood tests months earlier. If it had gone on a few weeks earlier, I could have ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, or even worse. Fortunately, I’ve mostly recovered, with the exception of some nerve damage in my legs. I had no idea something like that could happen. I was 35 at the time.

  • This guys an idiot, when it comes to research. Why are they popular? Because corporate greed has depleted our soil and robbed food from nutrition.

What a joke, I’m sure this is the type of guy that peddles high cost pharmaceuticals with a million side effects!

  • The first thing that needs to be pointed out is that most of the studies with a negative result, are conducted by MDs, or other medical industry workers, and they’re published in medical industry trade journals. Everyone familiar with this issue knows that the medical industry regards health food, supplements, lifestyle interventions, etc., and other interventions based on biology and science, as competing industries. Sad, but it’s pretty obvious that they’d rather have people die using astronomically expensive, ineffective medical industry pseudoscience, than get healthier using natural substances that come from real science. Why would someone accept studies done by workers in a competing industry at face value? The biggest joke is that medical industry trade journals (JAMA, Lancet, NEJM, and many others) make a pretense of having authors reveal conflicts of interest, but the glaring fact is that most MDs fail to disclose that they are medical industry workers. Should we take any of this seriously? It’s obvious, if you look at the studies, that study design is often poor, sometimes astoundingly so, and the studies are usually designed without a real desire to get positive results.

  • I have a?
For the supplements you take twice a day, I just seen u put 1 in one color. Whst about the second one.
Please explain what u use each color for ex green for day blue night.

  • I do believe your husband feels sick when taking vitamins. That’s bcos his body is going through a “healing crisis”. Most people who have not taken supplements before or might have but have not been consistent, their body needs to adjust. Those free radicals are being pushed out from within their body by these new strong healthy cells therefore they go through a “healing crisis”. My healing crisis when i first started taking health supplements comprised of body aches and joint pains. Some people have severe back pain plus lengthy flu. Different people experience different healing crisis but the advise i got was that i needed to keep taking the supplements and to ignore the discomfort bcos it would pass..and that’s a fact.

  • This is helpful, thank you! I used those elderly ones from the drugstore, and they weren’t airtight. I felt like my vitamins got stale. I don’t know if that is even a problem, lol. Also, I see they have pink ones now. I currently have about 15 vitamin bottles sitting next to my chair because I forget if I don’t see them. My husband will be thrilled that I can use this and store the bottles.

  • Yeah but dont u think thats a lot of plastic and why can’t they just be more responsible and take their vitamins when they’re supposed to
