  • I was so irritated with my daughter today! I am usually very calm but today I constantly had to pray & remove myself when I felt the influx of frustration…even now that she’s asleep I’m still coming down. I usually don’t eat morning breakfast but today I had a sausage biscuit with jelly and hash brown and crashed. Later I had cornbread dressing several helpings of apple pie and ice cream. Could this have affected my mood? It’s plausible from what was mentioned. I pray heavenly Father that I never put myself through another day like today. In Jesus name

  • While he’s not wrong that you can easily consume too much refined sugar and that this is a very bad thing, the overview is very simplistic. All carbohydrates are essentially forms of sugars, just with longer or shorter chains. Fruit and vegetables which are quite healthy are almost entirely carbohydrates (sugars). The thing that makes the sugar in them not as bad is mostly the length of the chain and the fiber which slows digestion, thus spiking insulin levels less. Sugars can be utilized more easily than fats or proteins when it comes to energy exertions, making them very important for sports too. If you aren’t active, then sugar isn’t very useful and you should consider keto, but I HIGHLY recommend doing daily physical activity.

    As for weight gain and loss, it’s all about calories in vs calories out. You could lose weight really quickly by eating only 4 snickers bars a day and nothing else.. but you’d feel terrible and be hungry all the time.

  • I haven’t been able to eat added sugar in over 8 years now. Only some fruits and I’m also incapable of eating sugar alternatives for the most part. It sucks lol

  • When I eat too much sugar I tend to stop, cause it makes me nauseous. When I smoke too many sigarrets, I tend to stop, cause it makes me nauseous, and so on with almost everything, when I had too much I feel nauseous. Except smoking weed, I tend to do it until I pass out., if only I felt nauseous when I had to much weed…, God we need some improvements, he should rewrite the code in our DNA.

  • Moderation is key to everything you eat. People don’t necessary have to cut out sugar entirely out of their diets but just keep it as moderations.

  • I drinked cola 2.25l everyday for one year. Here are common symptoms tightness on chess, dopamime insensitivity (most thing are boring), depression,wondering when it’s gonna end, thinking back when I wasn’t addicted, always feeling down. So yeah unless you plan to fight these things everyday then dont get addicted consume in moderate amounts.

  • Lemme just put it this way. Last year I was obsessed with being healthy and working out. I was very extroverted and everyone liked me. Had perfect hair (when I did nothing special to it). My skin was even perfect. The compliments I got on how pretty I am were enormous. This year I’ve gotten pretty lazy. I been eating nothing but junk food. I haven’t gained any weight though. My hair is breaking, my skin is dull it makes it look like I’m depressed, I’ve been extremely sad. People pick on me and say I’m ugly. This definitely explains it. Also puperty has done its job to make sure I get ugly, but the rest of the stuff is because of the junk food I guess

  • I was recently diagnosed as prediabetic. I went cold turkey and quit all sugar. I even began drinking my coffee black. Lots of vegetables and healthy fruits. Sugar free jello and sugar free pudding are my guilty pleasures. The arthritis in my knees has improved 100 %. I recently went to two family events and was able to wear heels. Never thought I would be able to wear heels again. To my doctor’s astonishment after 6 weeks my blood sugar is normal. Sugar is poison. Thank you ��

There is no such thing as a healthy sugar, whether natural or not, stay away from carbohydrates, they are converted to sugar too. Best way to go is low glycemic organic foods and healthy fats for a sustainable healthy life. Even if a sugar is natural or organic it’s bad, if there was a natural and organic cocaine substitute, in the end, it’s still cocaine. Bottom line stay away from it.

  • I stopped eating sugar for a year. I am on day 33. I have lost 32 lbs since. I was 320 and now 288. I used to drink 3-4 cans of coke and have bread with every meal.   • on a ketogenic diet, what is the max amount of sugar one can have a day? I’ve found shakes and keto bars that have 1-3 grams of sugar, would this be enough to knock someone out of ketosis?

  • I propose that food companies place a warning on their products that would not only be a sign of integrity and concern for public health but would probably not hurt the sales of their products to any significant degree, either. For example: “EXCESS CONSUMPTION OF ADDED PROCESSED SUGARS HAS BEEN LINKED TO MANY CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS INCLUDING OBESITY, DIABETES AND SUGAR ADDICTION. THE AMERICAN HEALTH ASSOCIATION RECOMMENDS LIMITING YOUR DAILY INTAKE OF ADDED SUGARS TO 24 GRAMS (6 TEASPOONS). CHOOSE YOUR FOODS WISELY.”

    All other pastries and sweets are not regularly consumed.

  • I stopped eating sugar 4 years ago. I wouldn’t say I experienced everything told in the video but I my immune system got stronger. I rarely get cold and rarely get sick. If I somehow get sick, I experience it lighter than any other human and heal faster. Sugary food starts to feel like too much sugar. Also, my stomach can’t handle sugary foods anymore. Since sugar is never benefical for you, quitting it gives your body a chance to reach it’s potential. I never knew I could heal faster and walk around in a shirt when it’s snowing outside.

  • I like your vids, but i drink sugar, coffee moderately. I means i drink a cherry coke once a week and mostly just plain water or peppermint,green or black tea. I drink 2 cups or most of the time no cup of coffee at all on a daily basis. I mean yes sugar is not healthy, but so is too much salt, too much deodorant by breathing in as well as trying to take a hard “poop”..I lost about 20 pounds eating and drinking less sugar doing basically no workout but still look healthy, so yes you might increase your health by not taking sugar into your system.   • While he’s not wrong that you can easily consume too much refined sugar and that this is a very bad thing, the overview is very simplistic. All carbohydrates are essentially forms of sugars, just with longer or shorter chains. Fruit and vegetables which are quite healthy are almost entirely carbohydrates (sugars). The thing that makes the sugar in them not as bad is mostly the length of the chain and the fiber which slows digestion, thus spiking insulin levels less. Sugars can be utilized more easily than fats or proteins when it comes to energy exertions, making them very important for sports too. If you aren’t active, then sugar isn’t very useful and you should consider keto, but I HIGHLY recommend doing daily physical activity.

    As for weight gain and loss, it’s all about calories in vs calories out. You could lose weight really quickly by eating only 4 snickers bars a day and nothing else.. but you’d feel terrible and be hungry all the time.

    I speak with people from Denmark and they eat sugar in almost everything. Their addiction to sugar in unbelievable, even diabetic people got it.

  • I was recently diagnosed as prediabetic. I went cold turkey and quit all sugar. I even began drinking my coffee black. Lots of vegetables and healthy fruits. Sugar free jello and sugar free pudding are my guilty pleasures. The arthritis in my knees has improved 100 %. I recently went to two family events and was able to wear heels. Never thought I would be able to wear heels again. To my doctor’s astonishment after 6 weeks my blood sugar is normal. Sugar is poison. Thank you ��

  • I stopped eating sugar for a year. I am on day 33. I have lost 32 lbs since. I was 320 and now 288. I used to drink 3-4 cans of coke and have bread with every meal. Now I eat a full plate of non starchy vagetables and red meat or chicken with some water to drink. I even stopped drinking coffee and I used to drink 3 cups a day. I can say I am feeling better then ever and with more energy. I’m never hungry like I was before, I actually have to remind my self to eat ��.

Here are common symptoms tightness on chess, dopamime insensitivity (most thing are boring), depression,wondering when it’s gonna end, thinking back when I wasn’t addicted, always feeling down.   • I was so irritated with my daughter today! I am usually very calm but today I constantly had to pray & remove myself when I felt the influx of frustration…even now that she’s asleep I’m still coming down. I usually don’t eat morning breakfast but today I had a sausage biscuit with jelly and hash brown and crashed. Later I had cornbread dressing several helpings of apple pie and ice cream.   • From my own experience: sugar can completely ruin your concentration while studying. And after having a sugar “high”, I actually started feeling down. Avoid it as much as possible!!!

  • Insulin is the storage hormone that takes sugar (glucose/fructose) out of the blood and helps store it in the form of glycogen in your muscles and liver….The problems start when you eat too many carbohydrates or food in general, and your glycogen levels are full but you still keep eating more carbs. All excessive carbs that can no longer be stored or burned immediately are then converted into body fat.

    Now, if you keep on eating too many carbohydrates over and over again and your pancreas keeps on making insulin to take the sugar out of your blood, eventually you will become Insulin Resistance….Your body will no longer respond properly to insulin and that can lead to a number of health issues like metabolic syndrome, diabetes, pre-diabetes and weight gain.

However, what about eating apples which is completely natural and made by God? So, I have two questions (1) Are apples bad for you? (2) What do you eat for a dessert which is good for you?

  • I barely eat sweets, for some reason I hate em. BUT for some reason I prefer a hell of a lot more salty foods. Also holy crap ur right I eat a lot more sugar than I thought. My freaking bread has hella sugar

  • I watched a documentary on Netflix called “What The Health?!” which says sugar doesn’t cause diabetes and heart disease is caused by animal products and dietary fats.

  • Im happy to see Doctor Oz stand up and give advice on healthy eating. So many Doctors are still telling people refined carbs ok, they tell this to people with Diabetes, not to mention all the other diseases linked to insulin resistance. These same doctors are giving big pharma all kinds of business while the patients are dieing from all these prescription drugs. When will people wake up!!!!!

  • I only allow myself in an average week, to drink about a few to several tall glasses of mostly 100% (fruit) juice, hot cocoa, or soda. Purified water is mostly what I drink for meals.

    All other pastries and sweets are not regularly consumed.

    I eat a lot of fruit.

    If you eat and drink like every day is your birthday in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, I think there may be a problem at some point…

  • From my own experience: sugar can completely ruin your concentration while studying. And after having a sugar “high”, I actually started feeling down. Avoid it as much as possible!!!

  • Lemme just put it this way. Last year I was obsessed with being healthy and working out. I was very extroverted and everyone liked me. Had perfect hair (when I did nothing special to it). My skin was even perfect. The compliments I got on how pretty I am were enormous. This year I’ve gotten pretty lazy. I been eating nothing but junk food. I haven’t gained any weight though. My hair is breaking, my skin is dull it makes it look like I’m depressed, I’ve been extremely sad. People pick on me and say I’m ugly. This definitely explains it. Also puperty has done its job to make sure I get ugly, but the rest of the stuff is because of the junk food I guess

  • I QUIT ALREADY an 10 days, my life is better, my productivity raises so much that i think now “wow, sugar was making me poor!”, hahaha, i’m most happy, sleeping better and thinking more clearly. sugar, never more

  • I like your vids, but i drink sugar, coffee moderately. I means i drink a cherry coke once a week and mostly just plain water or peppermint,green or black tea. I drink 2 cups or most of the time no cup of coffee at all on a daily basis. I mean yes sugar is not healthy, but so is too much salt, too much deodorant by breathing in as well as trying to take a hard “poop”..I lost about 20 pounds eating and drinking less sugar doing basically no workout but still look healthy, so yes you might increase your health by not taking sugar into your system. BUUUT and here comes the big but..we forget fruit sugar! Ofc..i know the sugar which you mean comes with less nutritional value..but no none! Not only do scientists still struggle with the research on health-related issues caused by sugar, but also are there none, if we look at the lab rat tests for example! Fruit sugar had the same effect as normal sugar, high super active minds, even overactive to a distracting level!
    So while yes 2 apples or bananas might not cause diabetes, so can 8 do the trick.
    But you forgot one crucial thing..DIABETES is not something “everyone” can develop if you don’t have the DNA-Protein in your body..the genetic string to even activate it. If you would research how diabetes develops, how sugar really affects the brain not just look a blog from “spritiual guide the way to self-healing” without 0 research..and throw out that kind of stuff. Then sorry but people like me who do a lot of things in their lives and accomplish them won’t listen to such bullcrap. The world is not flat, it’s a globe buddy and there is no “elite” that controls you, you’re in self-control.
