  • Elle can you make more video recipes. I love to see this type of video you make the are super easy to make and healthy plus make glitterfitness video and home decor I love you new kitchen.

  • Hey yall! i make beauty videos too! lots of hauls, reviews, tutorials, and favorites even requests! I would love it if you guys would check it out and subscribe:) I’ll gladly return the favor!

  • I rarely comment on anything but this is ridiculous.  “This” meaning the comments.  I’m not a faithful follower, I watch videos here and there when I get a chance and I never read comments but for some reason I thought I’d scroll down and take a peek (I was curious to see if anyone made it and commented on how it tasted).  Some of you should be ashamed of yourself if you don’t like her videos (period or anymore) then don’t watch them.  Simple.  I could care less what she does with her life, how she makes a living, and how much she plugs her own lines.  Celebrities advertise products all the time, it’s essentially the same thing since they are classified as “youtube” celebrities.

The comments on here saying “you’re so selfish” have nothing to do with this video.  Skip over the plugs if you want to get to the real video there, problem solved you don’t have to listen to it and even if you did, that was like 3 seconds of the video.  I just don’t understand people sometimes.  Why are you getting so upset over what she’s doing?  Stop watching and move on.  Why do you feel the need to bash her?  I am just dumbfounded by the lack of respect some people have and to go out of their way to post comments that add no value whatsoever.  There are better ways of leaving your opinion than “I hate you”, “you’re a selfish brat”, and other hateful and unnecessary remarks.  You want them to know you’ve unsubscribed because you’re no longer a fan of their channel?  What’s wrong with just saying that?

I’ve wasted too much time on this comment that will go unnoticed…but it would be nice if people stopped the hate.  Everyone seems to negative now.  If you have better things to do than watch her channel then do it and stop complaining.  There are clearly lots of people who still enjoy what she posts and if you’re smart, don’t get upset over silly, small things like 3 second plugs.

I’m literally chuckling to myself now just thinking how many people waste their time being hateful creatures…I used to think it was funny but really, it’s just sad.

  • nope. this saturated fat in fact is one of the kind which the body CAN proccess. it is not the same saturated fat like in Margarina. it is very common to think coconut oil is bad..but in fact is a good oil. there are better oils of course..but dont be confused…coconut oil is only ONE
    of the best.

  • I agree Elle and Blair just don’t care anymore since they became famous and please stop advertising ure book audible just fab and ure makeup line we get it ure a success but I’m not impressed because it’s made u more spoilt than u were before u became successful get back to reality and see us as viewers made u without us u wouldn’t have this life and u need a REALITY check I’m unsubscribing

  • Hi Elle, I understand that you can not dedicate 100% of your time to Youtube but you made promises that we broken and the videos lack quality. It seem like you are obligated to post a video rather than just wanting to.

  • I wasn’t looking for a granola recipe, but this looks good! I love it because it doesn’t require a ton of ingredients. May be trying this later today.:)

  • Love the recipe, I shall be trying it out soon, however I hate the incessant advertising you and your sister make for audible; Please stop.

  • This looks so good! I think I’ll swap out cherries for raisins, maple syrup for honey, peanuts for cashews, and maybe walnuts for pistachios. I can’t wait to try this; thanks, Tara!:-D

  • The canola oil would not hurt the taste, however canola oil is very toxic, I used to use it to make granola before I found about all the wonderful benefits of coconut oil, and the taste of coconut oil is so exciting=).

  • i read the blog post and i don’t buy the “youtube is not my Job” thing..we’ll see..judging by how much views your videos are getting these days..when the partnerhips start to stop..we’ll see if you’ll say the same thing..

  • Never thought of it, looks fantastic, thanks!!! I tried to redeem my free audiobook and it forces me to register with my credit card number and sign up for the next months…. what… I’m glad the company sends you codes in exchange of new customers but the procedure it’s too invasive, I just wanted 1 free book to try it

  • Oooohhhh, Elle… I love the smell of homemade granola baking in the oven! It is like we can smell it just by watching your video… I really need to make some more! xoxo

  • because its hard for a dancers to find a ‘snacky’ snack, or just granola even, that is actually healthy… because we burn a lot but don’t want extra fats/saturated fats or super processed food/granola

  • Elle, stay encouraged! I think your videos are great especially your food and recipe videos. I do hope you can find time to do the Christmas vlogmas videos. I know they must be time consuming so maybe you can’t but I really enjoyed them last year and I hope you will be doing them this year. I find your videos very relaxing, informative, and fun! You are my favorite!!

  • What’s more annoying about Elle’s videos are the “subscribers” complaining on EVERY DAMN VIDEOS! “I’m unsubscribing cuze you are sponsored and you don’t make videos like how you used to!”
” OMG Elle you’re such a brat! You don’t care about us anymore!”
    Blah blah blah!
UNSUBCRIBE THEN! it’s easy you just have to click on the “unsubscribe” on her channel!
Just because she’s not catering to your liking doesn’t have to mean you guys have to be mean or rude to her. She has a flipping life! She has other things she’s working on! Come on she’s NOT the only “beauty guru” here on YouTube, and most likey she’s not the only one you guys watch.

ELLEI know you probably won’t read this but I’ve been subscribe to you for years! I think you’re a genuine nice person and you do a great job on your videos! Keep your head up!

  • I love this woman!
What I mean…I love Granola! Lol:)
Coz It’s simple & easy to make together with your kids, sweet and healthy

When cooking, it’s better to have a knowledge so you can achieve what you like and what your body needed in a healthy way. That’s why before you proceed in cooking, you should read the “Important Information About Healthy Diet Menu” try to Google it. Well, First thing that you should know about “Healthy Menu Recipe Foods”

  • ♡Hey girls! My name is Halle, and by my username you’ll see that I post nerdy and girly things! I’ll be doing stuff like favorites of the month, tutorials, bookshelve tours, and reviews on episodes on things like Doctor Who. I love reading, and my most recent video shows me getting ready to go watch the Hunger Games: Catching Fire. I’d love if you’d check my channel out! ♡

  • Coconut oil is -probably(I’m guessing) healthier and has lots of good benefits. It also lends the recipe a wonderful coconut flavor, and I’m guessing that’s the reason she’s using it. I make granola bars with coconut oil in them, and they’re just stupid good. Definitely try the coconut oil. I just can’t quite picture the taste canola oil would give the recipe. I don’t think it would be good.

  • Ok, missed videos, broken promises, endless sponsored videos, poor quality, poor effort….although I had not been excited about all of these issues you’ve been having lately, I’ve stuck around. For 3 years. After reading your “rant” on your blog post and hearing you complain that you’re not doing videos because of the backlash you’re getting from your subscribers, that was the last straw. It is completely pompous of you to blame us for your lack of dedication to this channel. Let me remind you, YOU made the fall that glitters series. YOU made the promise to post videos. YOU said you would upload more to make up for missed videos. YOU did all of that. And as your subscribers, we trusted you. It is obvious now that it is silly of us to have even the slightest faith in you. So for you to not acknowledge your mistakes and your lack of effort is shameful really. And it is INSULTING for you to not apologize, even once. You think youtube is not your only job. But think about it would you have all of your other side projects without it? Without the dedication of your subscribers? The way I see it, your channel is a two way street. If your dedicated to your channel and your subscribers, your subscribers will do the same. If you’re not, don’t expect them to be complimenting everything you do. Criticism is part of of life. Tough. Learn to live with it and be humble. Because this seems impossible for you, I, and a lot of your other subs, UNSUBSCRIBED.

  • I’m quite sure many of you posting rude comments run successful businesses, have time for private lives AND make videos for YouTube. Do you quit watching tv shows when they “sell out” and start creating merchandise or your favorite actress start promoting makeup? Of course you don’t. You scurry right down to the store or order it online as fast as possible. Give the girl a break, stop making YouTube videos your whole life and MOVE ON. Great recipe Elle:)

  • i just made this and OOOH MY! hahaha although i put alot of cinnamon because i looove it:) my boyfriend loved it too!

btw my time in the oven was like 20 min only. More than that would have burned it… i have a hot air oven

  • This looks sooo good! Definitely going to try it:) fab video and loved how you said about your phone cases being a shameless plug, made me chuckle. Who wouldn’t be so proud of creating something like that?! Xx

  • Absolutely I would LOVE LOVE to see your recipe videos, Elle! It’s so fresh and I’d love your recipe videos just as much as I love your Glitterture series! By the way, I ‘d finished all of your Glitterture books..:( Can you do more so I can enjoy your recommendations?(Your choice of books are so great!) Thank you for your lovely videos. Best wishe♥

  • man I am so done with you, you are just not the person that you used to be and that’s in a bad way (in my opinion anyway) I don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but Elle I think you need to step up your game, because it seems like you don’t put any effort into your videos and that you just don’t care anymore so I think you should quit youtube, I don’t think you are really trying anymore =/ Sorry but oh you have lost A LOT of subscribers by the way

  • I made this granola yesterday and it is DELICIUS! I couldn’t find the Rice Krispies in Mexico but made it without them and loved it! It’s not too sweet which is perfect for me. Thank you so much!

  • im not trying to be a huge hater, but you shouldn’t make a schedule for your videos if you cant keep up with it. its only going to anger your subscribers

  • A lot of you viewers sound so entitled. Its just a YouTube video. She produces and edit it by herself. But all you want to do is complain about an iPhone app and her talking about what book she is listening to. It doesn’t cost you anything to unsubscribe if you don’t like what you see.

  • He helped me improve my poor diet around and make the most phenomenal body transformation I could ever dream of… Simply by teaching me how to cook healthy and tasty meals in order to achieve my goals HEALTHYMEALSDIET.HOST56.COM

  • Alright guys, if you don’t have almond butter at your house and don’t prefer spending $13 on it, then just use regular butter. It still works and is still pretty good.

  • I’m sorry but you failed at FallThatGlitters. So frustrating considering i used to be a loyal subscriber. Don’t mean to be mean but you need to try harder if you want this to be a job..

  • I tried my idea of using coconut butter in place of oil and it worked really well. So I tried macadamia nut butter and it was even better! This improves the nutritional balance. Even “good ” oils are refined foods stripped from their natural context. To use nut butter in place of oil just massage it in with your fingers. Go easy on the sugar which is also refined as well as addictive.

  • 2 minutes into the video and I was like “hmm she’s said exciting quite a lot, maybe it’s just me let me check the comments…” And all the comments are just exciting exciting exciting lol

  • hey check out my beauty channel! I am currently making lots of videos. take a look and subscribe! I’m going to be doing a give away when I reach 600 subscribers!:)

  • Elle I love your videos, but not when they’re sponsored or you mention a company a lot.  It’s not just you on YouTube that does it, but lately with Audible, Pantene, fancy feast, puffs tissues, trivalo etc. it’s been getting repetitive.  I hope you take this as constructive criticism from a loyal subscriber xo

  • This is ridiculous your videos are fricking terrible i hate you. I use to love you and look up to you and want to be like you ever since you first started here on youtube but i realized you don’t care about us just yourself you horrible selfish brat.

  • It’s not the best oil there is. I took Microbiology and we learned about which oils and good and bad for you. Coconut oil is not a winner.

  • I understand that your trying to promote audible and stuff, but it was SO out of place in this video lol. This is a recipe/cooking video, to go off talking about a book you can download online and listen to in the middle of a 3 min video just didn’t really make sense:P You could always just stick in an annotation in the video or something instead!

  • I searched the whole time after an easy granola recipe and yours looks like the best! Thanks for Sharing! Instead of maple syrup I will use honey:)

  • I don’t understand why you use affiliate links because surely you have enough money that you don’t need 10% of your subscribers money!

  • Have you ever thought that maybe you people are the reason they don’t do as many videos anymore? Why would they if on every single one they get endless abuse?!

Great video Elle, ignore the haters, you don’t owe them anything.

  • I like to add the dried fruit after baking so that it stays softer. I am thinking that I might try massaging the oats with coconut butter (made by grinding whole, as in not de-fatted, dehydrated coconut flesh into a paste) in place of the oil. The heat of massaging and baking should release the oil into the granola giving a more balanced whole food than the oil alone.

  • Getting really disappointed and upset with your videos… there was barely any Halloween videos if not none at all, now barely any beauty related videos. And its so annoying with audible! I like to READ my books not listen to them and that thing is such a rip off. Know they are sponsoring you sure, but dont shove it into our faces please. Missing the old Elle!

  • Hi Elle!! I’ve just started a youtube channel and it would mean the world to me if you would check it out!! Its “JustThoseGirls02” or “Kayla Anne Emily Mae”
Thank you so much & I LOVE YOU! XOXO

  • I personally dont care how many sponsorships you have, how many companys give you paid advertisment, how much $$ you get. Im fine with that and actually think its super cool. I just.wish there was balance. If there was a glitter gossip thrown in every once in awhile that was just geninune elle, no sales person, I know your complaints would go down.. I think people just get tired of feeling like they only get to watch commercials now. We fell in love with the personality, now all we get its a sales attempt, and it does get a little offensive to the viewer. But I think its super easy to rectify! Love your videos, and love you! We just wanna see more raw elle, not just hey you, buy this, elle:)

Did i do ok explaining that? I hope so:(

  • Omg, I actually really like this! Not that I normally don’t like Elle’s videos, I’m just surprised at all the hate comments! But it’s super useful, considering a bag of granola is about $6, and all of this I either already have on hand, or is super inexpensive. So I love it. ♥

  • i was looking at some of your older videos and u were talking about book i think you should definitely read a series called fallen from lauren kate they are amazing!!! oh and dont pay attention to mean people you are the best and its normal you are doing sponsored videos its your job

  • @ Brianna she did address her failed series on a blog post… Kind of. She never apologized or acknowledged that her subscribers had a right to be upset. It was really disappointing. Elle didn’t take any ownership or responsibility for not keeping up with the series and even went as far as saying everyone who was upset takes this way too seriously and are haters. She got famous because we like to watch her videos. This is at least part of her job, she does get paid for us watching and liking her videos. If I walked into work, told my boss every Mon & Fri I would have a report done with the same amount of work Elle has done I would have been fired over a month ago. It just annoys me that she has this woah is me attitude. She needs to at least acknowledge she’s made mistakes. Not stand with her nose in the air calling her real fans haters. That’s disappointing and if I didn’t like her suggestions and tutorials so much I would have unsubscribed after reading her blog post. Elle you need to figure out your priorities and what’s important to you because you are losing a lot of fans.

  • This recipe is fire! So simple to make, I can’t wait to try this recipe! Subscribed to your channel recently, I am very happy I did!

  • One more observation… Tara didn’t speak about portion size. The calories in this are astronomical if you treat it as a main dish. The answer is to look at granolas and such as “sprinkles” added on top of something less calorie dense. Think tablespoons, not cups. I have reversed my thinking: a bowl of fresh fruit with a little extra on top as opposed to a bowl of cereal with a little fruit on top.

  • Thank you, I am saving this video under my faves, so I will have it when needed! Looks yummy and with yogurt even better! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!

  • I Feel like your video’s are soooo NOT what they used to be.
Same goes for your sister Blair. I mean are you guys even doing this for fun or is it just for the $$$.

  • Thank you. I’m new to homemade granola and glad I found your video. I subbed the coconut for veggie oil since I’m allergic to coconut. Turned out great. Hubby loves too.

  • If you get natural maple syrup (without additives, high fructose corn syrup, etc) it’s a natural sweetener, and better than refined sugar or anything like that. A lot of people would probably use honey for this recipe instead, but maple syrup is vegan. Not the healthiest thing, but the consistency keeps the ingredients together somewhat and everyone wants some sweetness from their granola.

  • I love this recipe! It tastes amazing! I hope you continue to make more cooking videos, can’t wait to see those cute hedgehog measuring cups again! ❤️

  • I love your cooking videos, and granola is the best because there are so many different things you can add and it’s hard to mess it up.

  • classy post about fallthatglitters, really. rant all you want, your videos haven’t had the quality they used to, or the honesty for that matter. The sun won’t stop shinning if you stop putting up videos like you said, but it is very annoying to be wasting your time on someone you used to love watching just to see there’s no video there or anything

  • microbiology has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with that area. I took that too, and also 2 semesters of organic chem, and 5 other bio classes, oh and biochemistry. in microbio you grow bacteria on a chicken breast, are you kidding me? no oil is healthy, because it’s oil, and there’s a lot of chemistry behind all that research, but in short, olive and coconut oils are the healthy alternatives to unhealthy ones, such as sunflower oil.

  • Yay! I was thinking of using puffed rice on a granola recipe but I wasn’t sure how I could and I love that this recipe calls for it. I can’t wait to try this out!
