  • i hate this, i didn’t come to make a pizza that helps me lose weight, i want a fucking pizza that has crust, that is DUMMY THICC and that has so much cheese that i would become lactose intolerant

  • Thanks so much! From a low-carber, being able to have a crispy faux-pizza under 10 carbs is amazing (using Mission carb sense tortillas).

  • He was mean to pinblokto kick him out of the house forbiten him to cook and worst of all
He literaly throw in the trash the pizza dough of pimblokto

  • Great video Kenji. Looks delicious! Your “triangles taste better” comment reminds me of Chef John’s line “people love pointy food”. Whatever the saying, it’s definitely true!
Something I’ve noticed about adding basil before versus after baking is that it can get very dry and flaky without drizzling olive oil. I’m not sure if this is the intended or side effect of the olive oil but either way, it works.

  • I’ve seen a lot of these videos and I also do this as well. But I must say yours is the best thus far!! Looks so restaurant style.

  • This is perfect, its made with ingredients that many people have laying around in their kitchen, and so quick and easy, thank you for this video I know I’ll definitely be making loads of these:)

  • One time I was in Greece, it was in a little town, I stubled upon a Greek fastfood chain where they served burgers with carrots. I’ve never seen that anywhere else ever

  • Gonna try this later on… I noticed some left over marinara in the fridge that is going to go to waste if I don’t eat it. But I don’t want to eat the pepperoni pizza.

  • A dismal symphony of sorrow dedicated to an innocent, well intentioned friend, always downtrodden by society.
Why does no one comment on the captions?

  • Wow that’s a neat idea, I never thought about that one and I love pizza! Haha
Cant wait to see your homemade marinara, nothing beats homemade!

  • Works real well with picante sauce (I had a big container, lol) and whatever else you like. Good way to use up some veggies also. Easy and not expensive.

  • Oooh this pizza looks so good!… Hey, Matt, I was wondering, have you ever made a video on how to make Bok Choy soup? I made some for the first time today that turned out well, but curious as to how YOU would make it…. thanks!:-)

  • I like to bake my flour tortilla a little bit in the oven before dressing the pizza. Otherwise it turns out a bit limp in the middle where the toppings are.

  • “I’m like a poet and I didn’t even realize it”

Its actually I’m a poet and didn’t even know it. It’s supposed to rhyme. So you sound more like a poet..

  • You literaly made 90% of the process of making pizza whit the pimplokto arms and then pn the most easy part you trow that in the trash and grab a tortilla
    WHY

  • I remember my parents used to say excuse my French when they swore, I can still remember that day when the teacher asked us if we knew any french

  • I dont suck at cooking or baking your Sound is bad and your Robot Hands are boring how did you get 2 Million Idiots Abo your Channel?

  • Calorie saver from regular pizza dough. This is also popular in Japan where they have lots of gluten intolerance. Less flour to digest

  • I’ve made these for years & I use the large soft taco tortillas. So easy & inexpensive, also low carb & tastes great. Loved your video, thanks for sharing!

  • I made a pizza like this with a low carb tortilla. Got a jar of pizza sauce, cheese and made hamburger with green chillies and pepperoni. Turned out just like a smaller thin crust pizza but healthier! Used Olive oil. I could have done light cheese or tomatoes but wanted just a lower calorie pizza and healthy portion but don’t crave more after eating like with the processed frozen pizza usually makes me feel. Was as good as a pizza place. Thanks for this video! And since it was so quick, I can do this daily with ease, save calories, get my pizza fix, and feel satisfied

  • IT APPEARS THAT YOUR TOMATO SAUCE IS MUCH THICKER THAN WHAT WE YANKS OPEN IN A CAN………..LOOKS ALOT WHAT WE CALL PASTE…………RIGHT ON!

  • Flour tortillas are one of the few items still widely available in low carb that aren’t Gronk food for keto gym rats. Somehow they survived the Great post-Atkins purge that killed all the low-carb breads. This means low-carb PIZZA is still a thing. Life isn’t so bad.

  • I was looking for this!I told my sister I wanna make a pizza with tortilla and she said I’m out of my mind! So here it is possible! And I’m going to do it and I won’t give her any thing!

  • That horrible woman, “put the salad ON the pizza”, “I want to put it in the freezer because iceberg I’ve never seen frozen lettuce I’m so stupid just fire me now”. Why does she exist much less be on my computer?
Very cool recipe though, it’s on my shopping list now!

  • I tried this! I made my own version vegan pizza using ingredients I have at home, it was amazing! I won’t miss out on having pizzas anymore, thanks momables!

  • I used burritos and my plastic bag had a strip across the top to pull off and then slide zip it back closed. Your pizza looks really good!!

  • I got UTubed to your Chan; you are like the go to resource for the subject; most subjects…how did you acquire so much depth of knowledge?

  • Love your content Kenji! What cast iron skillet would you recommend if I don’t own one? Should I get a Tramontina like you suggested in http://www.seriouseats.com/2010/08/equipment-the-all-clad-vs-tramontina-skillet.html or should I go for a different one?

  • HELLO:) I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE READING THIS and are feeling empty or depressed THAT JESUS CHRIST WANTS YOU TO ACCEPT HIM INTO YOUR HEART! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP READING!!

JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU SOO MUCH PLEASE ACCEPT HIM INTO YOUR HEART HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH THIS WORLD ISN’T WORTH IT!

PLEASE READ THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD!:)
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen”

COME BACK TO HIM THIS WORLD ISN’T WORTH IT!HE WILL HEAL YOU!

  • Plenty of combinations including example:skipping the tomato sauce, layer of meltable cream cheese, just softened chopped leeks, slices of spring onion, (asparagus if in season) fresh garlic, some peas and even bits of cooked ham or crispy bacon…
Although this one is simplicity in itself and easy as pie. Literally ; ) thanks for sharing.

  • Don’t put anything leafy in the freezer, especially lettuce-the extreme cold will wreck its crunch. Just keep it in the fridge. Large flour and whole wheat tortillas are not new as a pizza base but lightly toasted pita and naan bread also work.

  • I already bought your book and told all my friends and family about you, but I really owe you. My miserable Atkins/low carb diet time has been bearable thanks to this recipe alone. Using Mission carb balance tortillas (6 carbs), authentic pizza sauce (2 carbs), and mozzarella (1 carb), while loading with italian sausage and pepperoni, I am able to have an amazing pizza for under 10 carbs. Also, your Grilled Shrimp w/ Sriracha Mayo is another go to (I sub thai chili paste for sriracha, add a tsp of splenda to mayo to lessen the acidic bite, and load on aforementioned tortillas with lettuce for shrimp tacos). You are the best!

  • I know I’m VERY VERY VERY late but I feel so bad I want to ball my eyes out and let that robot stay at my place as long as they want

  • This has been our go-to for years when we didn’t have the forethought to get fresh pizza dough! Bringing it back during this stay-at-home phase. Perfect pantry meal!

  • I would love to see this man make some kind of breakfast nachos. He seems like the best candidate for the job with his palette. Kind of like chilaquiles but on nacho chips.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with you about baking the pizza WITH the basil on, especially pepperoni pizza! It seems like the grease given off by the cheese and pepperoni absorb the basil flavor and spread it across the whole pie.

  • I love tortillas pizzas. I’m making one tonight, in fact. And I’m one of the crazy people who loves pineapple on pizza, which is going on mine this evening.

  • When I wanted pizza I would just add some medium sized tortilla and add spicy tomato sauce with mozerela cheez and put it in the microwave for one minute and it was not good not bad the good news is it turned out great the bad news….. The microwave got grease everywhere inside

  • I dont understand when people post cooking videos and never tell the most important information like at what temperature we bake? Lol rookie mistake

  • The seated guy was picking his nose, then picked food from the plate before passing that plate to the lady beside him ALL on camera!

  • You can also try Pasta Sauce I used ”Hunt” or w.e and mozzarella cheese for 10 mins in the oven and bam it taste so good thanks for this amazing idea!

  • I toast 1 tortilla on both sides, then toast another on one side then weld them together w a bit of cheese. Then toast last side, dress and roast in hot oven I think it comes out better and definitely better than any bar pizza u pay 15$ for

  • im trying to.. calcu.. calcu… CALCULAAATE$16.74 in total but……………… i can buy i pizza for….$2.85 and its great a whole wheel for that much and yet its great

  • What cast iron skillets do you recommend? Does a smooth surface versus a rough surface on a cast iron skillet make a big difference? Thanks!

  • You could probably improve on the crust* by brushing it with butter before… Give it a better taste… Maybe use garlic and oregano

  • Uh, I’ve been making pizzas like this for years. There’s no need to put it in the oven if you actually know what you’re doing. Instead of browning one side of the tortilla, you flip it once the bottom starts to golden from the bit of olive oil or cooking spray, and then you add your toppings to the already warmed side of the tortilla. Your cheese melts fairly quickly after that and your tortilla properly crisps without it having to go into the oven. Takes maybe 5 minutes.
And if you wanted, you could fold the tortilla in half before it crisps too much to make it a pizza quesadilla.

  • What a lovely recipe! Did you make the sauce yourself, and if so, is the recipe on your channel page? Of course, one can’t expect anything else but perfection when you’re in the kitchen; even tho you can’t catch Crayfish… lol. Yes, indeed, I would have been the first to laugh. 😉
