  • Hello!
Looks pretty sad for me to know that any single comercial chicken its filled with hormones, i will never talk about procesed meat and otger stuff, but why would you stiil eating that chicken anyway?
Please respond, i think You should raise some serous questions about this

  • Thanks for all the food tips. I would love to know more about how you incorporate these foods into your daily meals. This is my first video and you have really helped! Thanks.

  • Id say top three favourite foods would be beans, coliflour/broccoli and rice, that obviously without taking into consideration good old mustard

  • Thank you for this video. I’m a girl and lost 10kg in a year by exercising but I just started weight lifting and i’m trying to find my happy balance. Not to put on too much weight but enough to gain muscle ♡

  • FYI, “clean eating” doesn’t mean processed meat (meat in general), dairy, or eggs… the latter subsequently cannot be legally labelled as a health food in the US or Canada. Worried about protein? Oz for oz beans, legumes, and cruciferous vegetables (think broccoli) have more protein than steak and other meat without the cancer/ heart disease or harm to animals.

  • There is a lot of hidden sugars and empty carbs in many of his selections. Clif Bars are loaded with sugar. Wheat bread is often high in sugar and sodium. Granola contains a lot of sugar, and Light ‘n’ Fit yogurt contains some questionable artificial sweeteners. Regular eggs come from chickens that are often not fed a vegetarian diet, and (side note) are treated inhumanely. I would opt for: Kind Bars (the 5g sugar varieties); apples instead of bananas; quinoa or steel cut oats versus the rice and packaged oatmeal; sprouted whole grain breads; and plain Greek yogurt with added vanilla extract and honey. I would also cook my own chicken breasts and add Penzey’s no-salt spices to them.

  • I’m 16 and looking to put on weight I only weigh 110 pounds and it’s my sophomore year I can’t go to the gym but does anyone know what type of work outs I can do at home? And how much calories should I still be consuming 3000?

  • Need to buy meat in bulk at grocery store and get a vacuum sealer so you can portion it on your own. You’ll save money in the long run

  • It sucks that shoppers are left to guess at the quality of the products we buy. And to base our decisions on how ‘authentic’ the product sticker looks on the bottle. 7:41 he’s choosing olive oil and has to assume more expensive is better. Big box stores need to implement customer reviews somehow. In app form or otherwise. So other shoppers know what to expect. To know if a $2 filet of chicken is meant to be a budget item or not. To know if a can of tuna is expensive due to its brand, species of tuna, or other quality based feature.

  • Dude, we shop at the same place and buy almost exactly the same stuff! I am doing it right! Yes….now to start working out:( Walmart has it all!

  • Hey wzup how many calories do you intake daily? 3,000 calories or more and do you eat 5 times a day 3 big meals 2 snacks? Are the items in your videos consumed trough out the week in average portions? @AustinDunham

  • What are your top three favorite foods? (COMMENT FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A SHIRT) Also, if you’re already on the mailing list you can get the PDF guide in the coaching group, you can’t join the mailing list twice! #TeamColossus

  • Omg this video is what I’ve been looking for as far as nutrition. Especially when not wanting to cook or not knowing. I’m a single mom and this helps a lot to keep in budget and eat to fuel my workouts. Thank you much!

  • rice and beans with eggs for breakfast, with a little salad. Oat, whey, banana, peanut-butter, ovaltine malt, almond milk smoothie with a sandwich for lunch. Switch it up for dinner with something like spaghetti (alla puttanesca is my fave and super easy to make), or a fish palisami (1lb spinach, a chopped onion, a can coconut milk, lb of frozen fish, salt and pepper, cooked in pot until the fish is done) on hapa rice (half brown half white rice). All cheap, not a whole lot of meat but still good protein in there. it’s easy to eat healthy if you cook at home.

  • Wow…I don’t know how you can afford anything at all…. I couldn’t, with my bynk account:)! Here in Slovenia, I buy chicken at like 7-9$ for a kg, beef cuts go for few bucks higher, but that is it. Oatmel is literally 60cents per pound:)

  • Thanks! Really needed this. I’m not a hardgainer but I’m fresh off a cut and on my first bulk. I find myself having 400 calories left over at the end of the day and no appetite. This video is helpful =)

I can promise you don’t have what it takes!!!.. those that are! Have asked. More challenging than any muscle up tho only the ones that know want tell!!! Ask me please? Then I want have to..tell. But answer. 110%

  • It’s a comfort knowing you don’t have to go to high end markets like Whole Foods or Sprouts, and spend 100’s of dollars on groceries a week.

  • If you cant cook rice with a rice cooker you got serious issues man. Just throw in rice.. rince once..add water till 1 part of your index finger also known as the Tip segment or Distal phalanx. When in doubt add a bit more.. rather have sticky rice than undercooked. Also brown rice isnt better you..just get 20 kg jasmin rice at your local chinese store.

  • my three favourite foods are noodles, because of the insulin response, kiwis, because of the micronutrient density and pizza because its pizza

  • i get the concept here but sugar filled yogurt, sugar cliff bars, GMO Uncle Bens rice and sodium/nitrite packed deli meat. Not so sure about this stuff being a go to meal

  • I probably say this on every bulking related video of yours but I just love them and wanna share them lmao! Chicken and Rice Burritos!

peppers/onion/lil bit of lettuce for them micros
    Sriracha sauceeeee
2-3 tortilla wraps depending on calorie goals

Super quick to make and goes down so damn easy!

3 Burritos with approx 150g chicken and 300g rice = 70g protein, 180g carbs, 18g fat = 1162 Calories! And I’m sure you could even bump up the calories with a good source of fats like guacamole too!

  • 2 scoops of protein in thinkthin peanut butter oats, natural peanut butter on wheat toast with bananas on top, cheerios with unsweetened almond milk, and 100% egg whites

  • Glad to see that most of the foods you got i already implemented in my nutrition. Feels good to see confirmation that im on the right track

  • Sorry this is a bit late but could you please tell me which time do you eat each products? Like morning 7;00AM wheat bread or something like that please?

  • How could you forget the veggies!!Looks great except for the animal products you should collab with vegan bodybuilders like John Venus or nimi delgado or Brian turner bro

  • If I’m not worried about tone can I keep sausages in my diet or is that kind of fat incredibly unhealthy? I’m not worried about tone. my metabolism takes care of that pretty quick.

  • man $12/lb for chicken crazy af. even $5 is expensive. i have never bought chicken for less that $3/lb in california none the less, usually around 1.40-2.50/lb

  • Daily I always have some oats, greek yoghurt and last few weeks a protein cookie which has 9.8g fat, 20 carbs, 7.4 sugars and 38 protein.

  • I would also recommend visiting the local community markets, such as; Indian community, Muslim or Jewish communities and hit their local markets. You will definitely find GOLD OFFERS. I know I did.

  • I have epilepsy and I’m working out and I want to gain weight and I’m doing a work out in my condo with no equipment. What do you recommend for someone with epilepsy to do a good workout

  • Latin markets are definetly the spot if youre in a budget just got myself about 6 pounds of ground beef fresh form the butcher for less than 10 bucks not even, more like 6 or 7 bucks.

  • Oatmeal (steel cut oats), brown rice, potatoes (avoid white potatoes), some cheap veggies/fruit are all good staples. You can add other things to your diet so you don’t get bored, but from a health standpoint, they usually aren’t necessary. Humans are Grainivores. Having a diet of mainly unprocessed grain will keep your blood sugar stable, help you feel more full, give you long-lasting energy throughout your day, and contrary to popular belief, give you almost all the nutrients you need. processed sugars and refined foods are the main things you should try and avoid, for various reasons. If you’re looking to gain knowledge about nutrition, go to the library and take out a book on it. Eating the right food, and avoiding the wrong foods can have so many good effects on your life other than the obvious ones.

  • Can some1 count how many times he said “On a budget” in 10 minutes of video, and also count how many times this freaking add popped out on screen..

  • I mainly eat 3 whole sandwiches with peanut butter, one whole package of rice crackers and 4 eggs with 4 slices of bread. that’s already like 1500-1800. the rest is just dinner and snacks haha

  • It’s a little confusing about the carbs on a diet. Lots of different opinions, some with tons of it, some with none
Of it. Can u clarify a bit? Thnx

  • Awesome videos again! I have a question regarding bulking. For the past five weeks I have been on a rather controlled bulk, but these last two weeks I would eat dirty for one of the meals once or twice a week. Is this fine since its a bulk or would you consider this too much? Other than those two off days, everything else is well planned out and are macro and micro friendly. Thanks!

  • You’re better off shopping at Aldi where eggs are like 69 cents, milk is $1.50, chicken (the size I get) is $3.50 and 2 pounds of tilapia fish is $5.29.  I shop for 1 meal a day for 2 weeks on about $50.

  • Very similar to what I have been buying since November to get up to 183lbs. Man I keep Cashews on deck especially during a bulk. However, I have to pass on the Gerber lol

  • As expert, I do believe Custokebon Secrets can be great way to lost a ton of weight. Why not give it a chance? perhaps it’s going to work for you too.

  • thanks man, great quality, great info, random question, where are you from, your accent is very slightly noticeable, but its cool

  • Austin you are the man! You have helped me destroy my workouts and motivated me to join the air force like i planned years ago. Thanks man and keep killing it

  • Guys. lost lots of fat does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’ll give you some tips now. Get a popular lose weight method called Custokebon Secrets (just google it). Thanks to it I have lost a lot of weight. I should not even be talking about it cause I don’t really want a bunch of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I’m just in a great mood right now so I’ll share the wealth haha.

  • here is a good tip. chicken thighs and chicken drumsticks are a great value. separate the meat and skin from the bones, put in a pot with some garlic, seasoning to taste, water, scrap veg and make a quick soup.

  • Here is some things that i do that save a shit ton of money. If you work at a restaurant TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FOOD THEY ARE GOING TO THROW OUT. I close at Texas Roadhouse a fee nights out of the week and they throw out at least two racks of sweet potatoes every night. If you live near a publix, not sure if thats just a florida thing, look for the buy more pay less ground beef i got 3 pounds of ground round for 9 bucks last time i was there. More expensive cuts like chuck and sirloin are a bit more expensive but its like 15 dollars for 3 pounds of meat. Jenny os turkey 3 pounds for 10 bucks. As a high school student working at a restaurant i shop smart. I hope this helped some of u guys that took the time to read it. Other than that have a nice day. Great video guys

  • not all proteins are equal. they must have all the amino acids to be a complete protein which only meat and eggs, dairy( milk, whey, casein.) really have.

  • 1) smoothie
    2) quinoa
    3) eggs
Not sure if a smoothie is a “food” but I have one everyday. So I’m up m-th at 6 school 730-1200 and work 230-100 m-f I still find time to workout 4-5 days a week…so a smoothie is an quick easy way to consume 900-1200 calories in 30 minutes… smoothies usually include 4 bananas a giant handful of greens, 3 cups of frozen fruit, hemp, chia and flax seeds and on workout days a scoop of protein powder and on off days I put turmeric and peppercorn in it. For those who don’t know turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and the black pepper allows your body to absorb more of the tumeric…not going to say that it is scientifically proven but since I have been doing these smoothies my recovery time feels like it has shorten and my “next day pain” is minimal. Sorry about this rant but thought it would be good to share

  • Beef might be cheaper for some people but that’s a really unhealthy way to get your protein in. Someone new to lifting might think they should start eating tons of beef during the week, which is very bad for the heart.

  • Anybody tested out the Custokebon Secrets (just google search it)? We’ve heard many amazing things about this popular diet plan program.

  • The key to making good rice is to never leave it hanging. Too many people like to put it on the fire and walk away. You should monitor it from start to finish. It should only take about 15 to 20 minutes.

  • There’s is difference between olive oils brotha. The lighter one is olive oil also it’s just more for cooking and the darker is extra virgin doesn’t have a high smoke point and is more for flavor. Like the kind you dip your bread in

  • This dumby buying pasta sauce… make your own my dude. Tomato paste + tomatoes (canned or fresh chopped) + spice to taste. Bam my guy, you’re set for way less than $2.50/serving.

  • Drinking game: take a sip every time he says “bodybuilding on a budget”.

On the real though, great stuff, thanks a lot for making and posting this video!

  • I think you got pay to advertise. This foods intant rice?Is plastic fake rice and. Chicken breast full of estrogen and no counting all the preservatives they put in that pack

  • Guys if you looking to add some more quick and effective calories, I recommend snacking on beef jerky with oven baked chips, the macros are insane!!⚡️❤️

  • its not a ton of calories, but dressing up those veggies with butter, parmesan, oil, or adding walnuts… well, you are more likely to eat them while trying to bulk and not hurl

  • I dont use olive oil, but instead I use coconut oil. Will this affect loosing my skinny fat journey. I also do not use a lot when I cook with it

  • Pasta almost as cheap as rice but tastes better. Can even get protein rich pasta…
Spag bol can mix in favoring or cheese to change the flavour. Super versatile.
Ice cream perfect for bulking. Turn protein shakes into thickshakes.
You boys rock, keep up the good work!

  • And ofcourse u spend 45 minutes of your life watching video who you think will change your life and at the end you need to pay to get the program…

  • “You are gonna pack on a lot of fat if you eat fatty meats, but whole wheat pasta is healthy”… you are so clueless, my dude.
It’s nice of you to make a video on gains on a budjet, and the foods you suggest work for that, but don’t call things ‘healthy’ or ‘unhealthy’. The fact that something has protein and builds muscle does not make it healthy. Better stick to what you know

  • Also, instant mashed potatoes seem to be a good way for me to get calories in.You can put extra butter and cream and gravy-delicious.

  • I’ve watched this video about 29 times now over the past couple years it’s just a real helpful and inspiring one keeps you motivated

  • Clif Bars are very good. They use organic ingredients which is very important to me. I have been carrying them with me on my cycling trips for years. Best thing about liquid egg whites is they are pasteurized, which means you can put them in your protein drink without worrying about getting Salmonella infection. I do not agree with most of your food choices, but I still love your videos and content. After all, you know what they say about opinions. You guys are doing a great job; looking forward to your next video.
