Aliquam erat volutpat. Once cool, place muesli in an airtight jar or container and store for up to 3 weeks. Serve with nut milk of your choice or yogurt and top with figs and berries. Get more healthy dish idea.

Swap out the nuts, seeds, and fruit for your favorites in this easily customizable recipe. Muesli need not even be toasted. If you decided to skip the toasting, simply leave out the honey and oil—you can always sweeten the muesli. Coconut cherry muesli is super easy and budget friendly to make! Made with oats tossed with dried cherries, shredded coconut, almonds, and cashews with oats.

Enjoy it by itself with milk, or mixed with yogurt and topped with berries and honey for easy overnight oats. Packed with fiber for a filling breakfast!Preheat oven to 150 degrees fan forced and line a large baking tray with baking paper. 2. Combine the oats, coconut, quinoa flakes, cashews, sunflower kernels, chia seeds in a large bowl.

3. Place oats, sea salt, maple syrup and cinnamon into a serving bowl. Heat coconut almond milk up in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until hot.

Pour over oats and let sit 1 minute to absorb. Top with coconut, cherries, chia seeds and cinnamon. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, pecans, coconut, salt and cinnamon.

Pour in the maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract and mix well. Don’t add the dried cherries yet; we’re saving those for later. In fact muesli and granola share a lot of similarities.

Both contain grains, nuts, seeds and fruits, both are served with either milk or yogurt and both are delicious. There are some differences though. First, muesli lacks unnecessary calories from fats.

  • Adding dates to the pancake batter is genius. My tip: in the morning my kids take one frozen pancake and put it directly in the toaster. It makes it crunchy on the outside, as if it was coming out of the pan.

  • The best diet i have ever followed to lose 4 kgs in 6 days.. without any sort of workouts or physical exercises.. is intermittent fasting.. which i did in my own way like.. my day starts with one sizeable mug of boiled water with cumin seeds which are soaked overnight. Then after one hr a fully ripen banana. Then one hr later a healthy omelette with 2eggs both white n yolk.. with lot of onion some spinach or any sort of leafy vegies.. and pepper n salt. 11am a small apple. Then followed by a mug of turmeric tea.. which is very very important. At 2 pm a bowl full salads including half cucumber 1 carrot 1 onion, and half apple seasoned with bit salt n one tspoon of acv. And 2 medium size pieces of boiled chicken marinated with pepper salt n turmeric. N thats it for lunch. Again 3pm one turmeric tea. N by 5 pm i have an apple as my last meal of the day. Then you can have one or two cups of turmeric tea before bedtime. And stay hydrated with plain water all day. Without any workout we can shed 4kgs in 6 days. On alternative days you can substitute lunch with an oats and cauliflower porridge which is spicy enough. And breakfast with boiled sprouts one small cup.. instead of omellete

  • You really want to lose weight and keep it off. Stop eating out. Eat organic. Stop buying processed food. Stop drinking milk, yogart and butter. Buy grass fed and finished butter. Grass fed and finished beef. Buy organic veggies they are not sprayed with Monsanto Weed Killer. Organic fruit. But cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin coconut oil. No other processed oils that clog arteries. Buy einkorn flour no processed flour. All my craving stopped no more depression no more breakouts. No more hard bowel movements. I never felt better in my life. I was not trying to lose weight but slowly started losing excess body fat as a by product of eating right now i do not miss eating out at all. And the food has so much flavor. Hamburger tasts like hamburger. Veg have flavor. Fruit is sweet. Stop buying food that is made to kill you off early. Diets do not work.     That’s not a healthy diet. Moreover will be much more better to have plain oats rather this muesli to loose weight and remain healthy. Even if need to gain weight, sugar and butter will never be recommended.

  • Something I’ve found that helps is setting up a “protein, veg, carbs” system i.e, Chicken, Pasta, Sweetcorn or Sausage, Peas and Carrots, Roast potato etc or Chicken, Rice, Salad and so forth

  • I make my Brircher Muesli exactly like Jamie does but without all those nuts and fruits and the cocoa.
    My best Brircher Muesli recipe: rolled oats, milk and brown sugar. All the rest is just messing around.

  • Birchermuesli needs in minimum yoghurt and one blonde orange, the rest oft the fruits is your choice. No cream nor chocolate. If you want your birchermuesli creamy, replace 10% of the oats with millet. No cream. You can add nuts. If you take 500 grams fruits yoghurt, no additional sugar must be added.

  • I don’t like banana in my baked goods. Can I substitute a diff sugar like date sugar or applesauce? I imagine they won’t be as moist if I just use regular sugar but maybe applesauce will work?? Or date or coconut sugar combined with milk? Hmm.

  • Cashews are known as the natural anti depressants, so cashew cream/milk is a brilliant way to shake up adding them to your diet to boost serotonin. Also, try to reduce carbs, but don’t cut them completely (unless you’re on a sugar/carbless diabetic diet), as consuming copious amounts of carbs have been found to make depression worse. So substituting regular pasta for lentil pasta is a great way to get some extra protein, and avoid too many carbs.

  • I’m genuinely concerned/ confused when someone claims that any bread is healthy.

    Bread contain two proteins in it called glutenan and gilaidan.

    These cannot be broken down in ANY human body.

    Again, [No one is able to completely digest it.]

    It causes inflammation in any part of your body and causes brain fog along with other detrimental effects on your body.

    If anyone tells you bread is healthy..slap them…with bread ��

  • Hi Beth, with regard to the yogurt in the Instant pot I find it a bit sweet, however it does taste great with your granola. The yogurt is a nice texture, it sits for 9 hours in the fridge.   • What I love about these recipes is that most of them have oats, and even better, they don’t all involve the oats needing to be cooked into mush. It’s weird, but I love granola and oats when they’re toasty!

  • While im watching many negative comments it was must to comment. I tried this recipe ot came out perfect, though i replaced sugar with lesser amount of jaggery. I use this in half cup yogurt topped with it 2 spoon full and any fruit. Its a full meal.

  • had this for breakfast this morning it is so delish made it with coconut milk which i had never had before and also had coconut yoghurt for the first time with it luckily its summer for me so had chopped fresh stone fruit slivered almonds and some chia seeds thankfully this makes heaps so am going to enjoy for quite a few more mornings to come yummmmm Jamie and thanks so much coz breakfasts had become boring and i needed the kick up the butt to start getting adventurous with food again

  • Can’t wait to make your healthy pancakes! We always clean our blender and milk frother the lazy way haha! Just don’t make it too full or add too much soap or it will go everywhere. Actually I do this with skillets and pans too. Just lightly warm a little soapy water while you’re plating the food or loading the dishwasher and then you can rinse off any food residue from your cookware pretty easily! And yes, we make extra pancakes and the kids put them in the toaster straight from the freezer to warm them. Thank you for another video Beth!

  • I know this is an old video but I just gotta say I hate that this video sort of perpetuates the idea that meals are “healthy” if they’re super low-calorie. Eating low amounts of calories IS NOT HEALTHY. Calories give you energy and you need them to live. Eating too many calories can be unhealthy for sure but eating really small amounts of calories like 1000 per day is so bad for you and can drain you of your energy. Healthy lifestyle is 100% about activity and getting all of your necessary nutrients. Starving yourself will not make you healthier.

  • Come on all you guys that have hated on him in the comments. He has added the sugar and butter in proportion to 600gms of rolled oats. As per the ingredients assuming you’d have 50gms of rolled oats per day that’s 2.5 gms sugar/day. If you don’t like that go ahead and substitute to various sugar alternatives. The guy’s just sharing what worked for him and suddenly everyone’s the expert. Each one’s weight loss journey is different. And unless you can do any better keep the negativity to yourself.
