  • I actually use carb blockers and I like them, I don’t eat a carb rich diet but when I’m apprehensive of if something will fit truly fit my macrosI take one occasionally. From what I have experienced, they most certainly work but once again, I already don’t consume many carbs so not necessarily conclusive.

Can i do rep ranges to increase explosive strength in my legs and combine it with hypertrophic (building muscle mass) in my upper body at the same period? My calorie intake is 20% above my basal metabolic rate

  • 1st 4mins are excellent then goes off the rails… the end suggests all carbs are problematic and increase risk of diabetes, which is at odds with the biochemistry described in the 1st 4 mins. maybe this wasn’t intended but not reiterating the distinction btw refined sugar and complex carbs when discussing disease risk was a major miss IMO

  • Clearly the twins haven’t heard of insulin resistance ��. No matter how low the carb intake get, the resistances will kill you if you take too little carbs. This advice is flawed and potentially dangerous.
    If your eating a very low carb intake just to lose a 1lb a week, consult a doctor and check for insulin resistance aka DIABETES or for the ladies PCOS!! Do whatever the fuck u wanna do…after Uve seen a doctor.

  • Dont take fat blockers. You need fat but you don’t need carbohydrates. As long as a carb blocker works I don’t see anything wrong with taking them on rare occasions. The first argument doesnt make sense. Preventing your body from storing fat will cause you to lose weight because you burn body fat if you aren’t storing it.
    To say it doesn’t cause weight loss and only prevents weight storage is like saying that if I don’t refill the gas in my car that I drive everyday wont cause me to run out of gas it will only prevent my tank from being full. Obviously one leads to the other so that argument makes no sense.

  • I remember very recently christian guzman helped a bikini model lose weighthe said her problem was eating very few carbs so by increasing the carbs and intensifying the cardio (I assume he did this too) she managed to lose a lot of weight very quicklysurely that contradicts what we’re being told about training our body to burn fat by eating low carb? Or was it because her body had already adapted to burning the fat and the carbs were just used for energy?   • The best way to track your calories is the my net diary app. You can either scan the barcode of what you have eaten or search it on the system and just type the amount you eat either in grams, servings or cups etc. It even tracks the amount of protein, carbs, fats etc. It’s so easy and and useful it’s helped me lose so much weight!

  • Strange this video explains how not all sugar is the same, and your body does not treat all sugar the same. Then ends with sugar is sugar as if to say all sugar is the same. You can substitute carbohydrate for sugar in this statement. The video, and as a result its creators, and producers lose credibility by contradicting themselves.

    So the moral of the story is if you’re not working out in the gym and and if you’re not going for that long jog you can cut out a lot of your carbs you can cut them in half and consume more protein. Problem is we are so accustomed to carbs because they come in many forms that we like and your desire for them is basically automatic at breakfast lunch and dinner so you have to discipline yourself and watch out for those bad carbs if you want to lose weight. But if you want to work out in the gym and lift heavy weights you have to have a bunch of carbs to get stronger so you can handle the heavy load that’s required to bench press that heavy weight that you going to lift this is how professional bodybuilders know how to cut back and lose weight easily because they check their diet you got to check your diet first.

  • Clearly the twins haven’t heard of insulin resistance ��. No matter how low the carb intake get, the resistances will kill you if you take too little carbs. This advice is flawed and potentially dangerous.
    If your eating a very low carb intake just to lose a 1lb a week, consult a doctor and check for insulin resistance aka DIABETES or for the ladies PCOS!! Do whatever the fuck u wanna do…after Uve seen a doctor.

  • Dont take fat blockers. You need fat but you don’t need carbohydrates. As long as a carb blocker works I don’t see anything wrong with taking them on rare occasions. The first argument doesnt make sense. Preventing your body from storing fat will cause you to lose weight because you burn body fat if you aren’t storing it.
    To say it doesn’t cause weight loss and only prevents weight storage is like saying that if I don’t refill the gas in my car that I drive everyday wont cause me to run out of gas it will only prevent my tank from being full. Obviously one leads to the other so that argument makes no sense.

  • The best way to track your calories is the my net diary app. You can either scan the barcode of what you have eaten or search it on the system and just type the amount you eat either in grams, servings or cups etc. It even tracks the amount of protein, carbs, fats etc. It’s so easy and and useful it’s helped me lose so much weight!
