  • This is a perfect example of how science gets misreported. The study they are referencing is the Matador study (DOI: 10.1038/ijo.2017.206). It’s a study that looks at what happens if you diet for two weeks and then have another two weeks at maintenance calories and then repeat that vs a continuous caloric restriction diet. It’s NOT about “cheat days”, which are single 24 hour days in which your caloric intake goes to maintenance level or above that, which does not have the same effect as as maintenance periods of weeks. This is the type of reporting that spreads more confusion to the general population.

  • I’ve been eating fairly healthy, doing workouts/going to the gym/dance almost daily and weekly will do cardio circuits as well as some other workouts with my dance teacher (it kills me) and I still have pretty much no definition in any of my muscles, especially my outer thighs and abs, my body hasn’t changed AT ALL.   • I swear this is the only guy I trust with keto advice. There’s so many people out there giving bad advice. There’s that couple that have that whole “we are normal people like you on keto” angle and it hurts to see because I feel like they’re not very healthy and because people lose weight they think it’s good advice.   • I’ve always been very slim, almost too slim actually. I just never gained weight bc i grew so dang quick. When i stopped growing i started to put on the weight. Add some mental health struggles and soon you’re at 85kg at 1,80m height.

  • Chloe, can you please make a video on how to get abs on a vegan diet? Some people follow a vegan diet for ethical reasons or due to health problems. However, it can be difficult to build your abdominal muscles if you don’t do this properly because you’d need to find an efficient way to get lots of protein, avoid excessive fats (which may be from healthy sources like nuts), and avoid foods that bloat you (considering that many of them could be fruits and vegetables).

  • The majority of the time, couponing is a waste of time. Every coupon I have ever seen (with some rare exceptions) are always for brand name items and with the coupon, the items are still more expensive than a store brand. Food Lion occasionally seems to offer coupons for X amount off a purchase over Y amount, but the prices at Food Lion are marked up higher than some other stores, so even after the discount, you can still get the same items for cheaper elsewhere. The time wasted trying to save money with coupons would be better spent trying to find the cheapest places in your area to get reasonable quality goods and what store brands are best for the cost. Walmart store branded items tend to be pretty good for the cost. The only exception I have found is canned potatoes. Del Monte is the only canned potatoes I will get (but will change this if they ever resort to using crappier potatoes).

  • You should eat watermelon alone. Melon is the fasted digested good, about 30 mins. So eating it with anything else is gunna give you a tummy ache/cramps when they meet in the gut

  • Definitely healthy except white rice but poor people can’t able to offer dry fruits every day but I’m already on this track from 3 years. We recommend Jowar instead of wheat, millets instead of white rice

  • I’d love to but I don’t have time for the lunch workout. As a student, my schedule is very rush. I come home at 12.00 AM, have lunch and go back to school at 2.00 PM. I have to take a nap to rest and charge more energy so that I don’t feel sleepy during the afternoon classes. So I decided to stop eating rice. I eat meat and vegetables only. And drink more water. It is kilocalories. cal is just colloquial and simply wrong in an informative context) per day per baby or a general rule of thumb? And why is it so much more than the recommendations from germany? The recommandations are that from the second trimester on an additional 250 kcal per day are needed until the end of the pregnancy. But again: Per baby oder in genaral? I don’t know. This seems excessive if it is per baby and these numbers from the video. And isn’t it also important what weight the mother had before?
