  • I’ve got to say, you’ve posted this at a great time for me. I’ve been playing it loose with macros while I was on a strength cycle. My program is finishing up next week and I plan to get into a cut and focus on meal prep.

Really appreciate you doing this. If it would be possible to make a request, I would love to hear how you track your macros when you pay more attention to them.

(Also I just subscribed, saw a few of your other updates and you put out great content pretty consistently:) )

  • Please add KG next to lbs, because 95% of the world uses metric, you even use grams for the protein intake…otherwise +1 like from me.

  • Is Custokebon Secrets helpful to lost crazy amounts of fat? I have learn numerous good things about this popular lose weight secrets.

  • That’s very educational thank you! But I’m here to say that keto bars helped me a lot and it is very beneficial if you don’t want to eat heavy. The meal bars are very nutritious and have a a lot minerals that help you throughout the day. I highly recommend them; plus they keep you full for up to 4 hours between meals

  • When considering eating healthy, you must try not to fall victim to modern day fad diet plans. Extreme diet plans are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your everyday nutritionary intake. While they may induce fast weight loss, these diets are never a long-term answer for your waistline. It is best to look up Custokebon Secrets on google as it isn’t just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • Great video. Do you normally leave the skin on the sweet potatoes when roasting? Ive always peeled them first, but if it cuts down on time, I’m all for it, lol

  • Most of this information is just bullshit. Many studies use the term “possible” since the subjects need more research. High intake of protein and omega 3 can be dangerous.

  • Namaste

The ancient indian scriptures on Ayurveda, the science of longetivity, recommends that we drink adequate water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach as this would help prevent several diseases in the long run

  • Have you seen Game Changes on Netflix? Might want to check it out, I think it’ll really help your performance and understanding of the latest empirical evidence on nutrition.

  • hi Gemma too late for me, can you send me email? I agree with you. He is correcy about the macro nutrient i vegetables, but you are attracted by the micro nutrients.

He is so sure. I am sure that 100% of anything is extreme. Not best for me.
You did well at asking him questions to reveal what he thinks.
I have choice over my addiction, btread is difficult.
Re pregnancy, you do need carbs but not that much. I learned this from a nutritionist I can tell you about. Some women are helped with a keto diet but specially… for women.
    Till soon…

  • Did you know that the diff color bell peppers are actually the same pepper just at diff stages of ripeness?! Fun fact. Green to Yellow to Orange to Red being fully ripe. Their nutrients and health benefits also change at each stage. Thanks for the meal prep!

  • Is there a book I can read? Or books. Because I don’t wanna go to school for body building. And it’s hard to learn on YouTube and google lol

  • It’s still amaze me just how some people don’t know about Custokebon Secrets (google search it) even though lots of people lost a lot of weight using it. Thanks to my personal pal who told me about it. I’ve lost lots of weight.

  • Are there any successful sportsperson who have grown and performed with veg diets only? Any names.only in India some wrestlers are vegetarian.I cant find any others veg sports person in world.all of known vegetarian sportsmen have all been non vegetarian all their life and turned away only after peaking of their career s or getting old.

If what i say is not true pl refute and put facts as many animals would be saved if you can convince

  • When considering eating healthy, you must never fall victim to modern fad diets. Extreme diet plans undoubtedly are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your daily nutritionary intake. Many of these fad diet plans work for a short time period and then the benefits decrease after a while. It is best to search Custokebon Secrets on google since it isn’t just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • Yeah, I too am guilty of jumping through weight loss plan to others as well, I think that I need to have tried every single weight loss method that was available, but eventually not one of them made it easier for me to lose and maintain the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time using the Custokebon Secrets simply because my cousin who told me great things about it and so far to date I have successfully lost 18 lbs in 4 weeks!

  • I love coming across random videos from fit, healthy people like yourself, and seeing them eating EXACTLY what I eat daily. So encouraging!! Thanks for sharing:)

  • I was vegan for 3 years and became deathly ill. I know for a fact carbs kill!! Now I’m primarily carnivore and healing and feeling amazing!

  • Imposing a plant-based lifestyle worldwide would be a crime against humanity. Do they still execute for such acts? Because, if so, the only place for those who press for and would impose their plant-based agenda is at the business end of a firing squad. And my contempt for the UK NHS for having wrecked the health of so many all for being too inept and slothful in the 1980s to do so much as a single trial to evaluate the safety of the much-touted low-fat diet. BEWARE THE EAT-LANCET GUIDELINES COMING OUT OF CANADA AND BEING PUSHED BY THE UNITED NATIONS. This MUST be nipped in the bud and aggressively resisted. We must NOT allow a repeat of the low-fat diet disaster. To do so would be unconsconiable.

  • Thanks for the tips! Subscribed! One thing I love to keep in my pantry (my food goes fast being a family of 4) is canned chicken from Costco. Really versatile and good in a pinch, obviously not as good as fresh cutlets or thighs, but the flavor is good and it’s still protein.

  • My cooworker laughed when I told them I was going to lose weight with just using Custokebon Secrets, but after I showed them great effects after I used it they are begging me to share with them about it. Of course I won’t tell them the detail about this diet plan, hahaha

  • Anyone tried the Custokebon Secrets? I’ve heard some incredible things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google).

  • This was a very helpful video! Thanks a lot! I’d love to see the breakdown for a male athlete and I’d love to see how you portion things out per meal. You may have another but just found your channel. Thanks again!

  • Has anyone used the Custokebon Secrets to lost a ton of weight? Simply just do a google search. On there you’ll discover an awesome tips about how you can lost tons of fat. Why not give it a shot? maybe it will work for you too.

  • The book “a New Atkins For a New You” was not the start of Atkins in 2010. Atkins did not write that book because he had died Westman, Volek and Phinney wrote it. Many thousands of people lost weight on the original Atkins low carb diet but like all other ways of eating if you do not continue to follow the diet and go back to your old way of eating then you will regain the weight. Plain and simple LCHF works if you remain compliant.

  • Thanks for this it’s really helpful, just started CrossFit it’s so hard but loving it already and did my first meal prep with these suggestions this weekend

  • It’s probably a bit late for an answer to this but I’ll ask anyway. My 15yo son (soccer) has a 1hour commute to and from training 3-4 days a week after school which ends around 7pm. I’m keen to have portable meals that he can eat on the way home in the car. Any ideas?

  • On bread addiction vs sugar addiction Since starch is made of sugar molecules linked together, sugar addiction and bread addiction, or addiction to any starch, may be the same thing.

There are other substances in wheat that are said to be potentially addictive, as well. Yet the addiction to starch/sugar is a major part of the lives of so many people.

  • Anybody tested out the Custokebon Secrets (look on google search engine)? We’ve noticed many amazing things about this popular diet plan.

  • I have experimented with each and every slimming guide and this weight loss program is the one that works for me coupled with their goods to burn off fat. I don’t feel jittery or perhaps feel a crash, I’m also not as hungry as I used to. I have lost about 15 lbs since applying this product. Google should help you to discover it. Program’s name is at the bottom.

  • Looks great. We do the same thing you do with chicken breast and chicken thighs wand also with ground bison and ground turkey. Sometimes we even mix them together to make chili or meatballs just to give it a beefier flavor.

  • OMG, here comes attention starved ignorant fool James again! This narcissist idiot will do anything to get someone to notice him! He truly is a pathetic person. By the way stupid, I know you love these glue on wig pieces to boost your ego but have you looked at the back of your head recently? It looks like a chrome dome! It amuses me that you are wealthy enough to purchase anything in this world but damn, you just cannot buy hair! That is so laughable! By the way, aren’t you aware that real men just go bald? That tells me all I need to know about you!

  • Great information on how you prep meals for the week. I was wondering if having a banana & yogurt for breakfast, chicken breasts, tacos and quesadillas for lunch & turkey sausage, homemade quesadillas, nachos, chicken breasts for dinner each week a good meal prep? I usually make these things on my own.

  • Wow, great. Thanx for sharing!

Concerning the meat. Speaking ethically here. I would love to see you switch one day to meat of which you know where it came from. A private farm where animals had a good life, love and caring, only doctors when necessary, no unnecessary pains, transports etc. and a unstressful, quick death. A totally plant based diet would be even better of course. ❤️

  • 13:52 Yes! the balanced diet and moderation are euphemisms made to promote the status quo of you eating as much sugar as the industry can sell you. It is never too much btw. They will sell children’s sugary cereal and say ‘part of this complete, balanced breakfast’, Yeah right.

  • Life would be even blander without veggies. No bad carbs (most carbs), no gluten, no bad fats and no bad proteins is (are) more than sufficient.

  • Hello guys, I had a question
I am a 17 year old tennis player who is soon about to go for university sports who has recently become a pure vegetarian(no eggs as well), my parents were shaky with my decision but did not support veganism at all. Now both of them ask me to eat meat saying that I need it to grow taller, and that my base for my body is based on how I eat till 19 and after that it doesn’t matter what I eat. I feel very guilty even consuming dairy. It is very horrifying to be honest. But also it is scary when people around me ask me to eat meat and eggs saying that it can affect me for a lifetime if I dont eat meat regularly till the age of 19(till the age where I can grow). What do I do?My university as well has a lot of meat options and USA in general has many meat eaters which is where my university is @t in a way, even in university there are not many vegetarian or vegan options especially for athletes who travel once a week and are on the road during weekends. Also, meat has no vitamin c,carbs or fiber..I understand that but nobody is gonna stick to a diet that only has meat ya..people will obviously include plants in their diet which cover up the nutrients. I would really appreciate it if you answer my question and give me some clarity on the diet comment I passed.
    Thank you for reading!!!!

  • What about Dr.Micheal Gregors theories. He speaks solely for plant based diet and he shows lots of research and trails.Sometimes his videos make me scary to follow keto.Anybody can explain.Thanks.

  • Great job! Love the format. Keep it up girl. It takes a good long while to really get momentum on YouTube. You’re doing a great job.

  • Hmm. The vegan 7th Day Adventists, which have on average some of the best health and longevity figures for any group in the USA, do NOT control the diet guidelines in the States! They most certainly have been trying to get a voice against the massive beef, dairy and pork associations to get people to eat more veggies!! (And, NO, I am not an Adventist!!)
Ps. Cheese and fat/salt cravings can be on a par with sugar cravings…. both sugar and dairy need to be taken out of the equation.

  • Highly doubt he’s eating some of the things you mentioned… considering there wasn’t a video of him eating it I’ll take it as an advertisement for sugar companies.

  • maybe he eats this, perhaps a salad, probably pancakes on tuesday tacos for sure. man fuck outta here with this shit and that clickbait title.

  • Hi Kristi! Seems like we eat a lot of the same foods. One thing I do differently is add scallions, fresh garlic, parsley, cilantro and other herbs to help change up flavor as well:-) Some low sodium spices as well…I’m Hispanic so my food’s gotta be tasty and spicy!

  • Loving your videos… this was great info. Funny in my 20’s I wanted a good looking man, in my 30’s I wanted a rich man, in my 40’s I want a healthy man. You are sexy! #cougar

  • I’ll show you a few ways how to lose weight and also if you are interested I can show you a method I found that can show you how to lose weight effectively that has helped me lose 10 lbs. in 3 weeks only. Email me at [email protected]gmail.com

    Ways to lose weight:

Do without fat? A pound of weight loss a week? Five small meals instead of three large ones? All wrong! Nutritional science has learned a lot about losing weight.

    Magic potion soup

Soups are number one when it comes to losing weight. It has been shown in various experiments that they can reduce hunger: With a soup as a starter and the following main meal, you consume around a fifth less food and calories.

Another experiment shows that a dish consisting of individual foods and drunk with a glass of water is less satiating than pureed the same ingredients in a soup. Apparently a soup stays longer in the stomach. If there is still some meat or fish in it, satiety will last even longer a hormone release after protein consumption is responsible.

Tip: eat meat soup with lots of vegetables until you are full. Or start your meals with a vegetable soup.

    Breakfast doesn’t have to be

If you are not hungry in the morning, you should forego breakfast. The calories saved as a result are no longer recovered during the day, which supports weight loss. However, if you are completely inedible without breakfast, you should choose one that will fill you up for as long as possible.

Tip: No breakfast or a sustainable one such as scrambled eggs with ham, tomatoes, cucumber, and some salmon. In return, lunch can be a little more modest.

Two to three meals are better than five

Anyone who feeds constantly has a constantly high level of insulin. The body can only tap into fat deposits when this level drops. Regular breaks between meals relieve the organism. Skipping meals boosts fat metabolism. Those who are figure-conscious should, therefore, eat two to three times a day. It is important that you get really full, i.e. consume a lot of protein, food fibers, and food volume.

Tip: Take a break between meals for at least four to five hours.

    Belt instead of scales

The scales are a poor tool for judging your figure. It is better to measure waist circumference. Women with a waist circumference of more than 80 centimeters and men with a waist size of more than 94 centimeters have a demonstrably higher risk of developing type II diabetes or cardiovascular diseases.

It is important to know here: one kilogram of fat is three times as voluminous as one kilogram of muscle. So if you eat less and do more sport at the same time, you may not see the result of the changed lifestyle on the scales, but you can still tighten your belt noticeably. One thing is certain: In addition to changing your diet, losing weight also requires more exercise. Today, in addition to endurance training, strength training is also recommended. This increases the body’s basal metabolic rate.

Tip: Measure your weight loss on your favorite jeans. If this begins to sit loosely, you are on the right track. Ideally, you shouldn’t eat anything two hours after exercising so that the fat burning continues undisturbed.

Again, if you are interested, email me at [email protected] gmail.com and I will show you a method I found that help me lose weight.

  • Guys. lost a lot of fat does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’m going to give you some advice now. Look for a popular fat burn methods called Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google). Thanks to it I have lost lots of fat. I probably should not even be talking about it cause I do not want a bunch of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I’m just simply in a excellent mood today and so I’ll share the wealth haha.

  • It’s still amaze me just how lots of people do not know about Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google) even though many people lost a lot of weight with it. Thanks to my buddy who told me about this. I have lost lots of weight.

  • Such a simple plan and so easy to follow. Honestly one of the easiest to follow nutrition videos I’ve seen in a long time. I’m going to steal the carbs idea to rotate them out every day!

  • I’ve learned that red meat is a bad protein before bed due to the long digestion and not letting you go into deep sleep as fast, suffering and more tired the next day. I changed to a protein blend with casein before bed. I’m no expert, I just started working out and I listen to too many podcasts

  • Food ideas are always appreciated thanks! Thanks too for doing the Julie Foucher podcast! You lesson of staying balanced in life was a welcome reminder. Whether it fitness or work! Have fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K_JKumuGqU

  • I’ve been getting on the red lentil pasta bandwagon and it’s so good!! Also mix it up with a chickpea pasta and add basil pesto to it. Then ill add some broccoli +/peas and rosemary, sage and parsley tofu sausages! So good!! Also love my air fryer for roasting up all sorts of veggies!!

  • YES! Glad you made another food video. For sweet potatoes, I cut them into strips, season with cayenne pepper, paprika, and sea salt, and cook them in the oven at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 25 minutes, giving you healthy sweet potato fries! (They won’t be as crispy due to lack of corn starch, but a much healthier option and a twist on cooking sweet potatoes).

  • Bruh losing weight is so fucking hard I literally gota be measuring every little calorie??? That’s the things that gets me so confused why can’t i just hit the gym eat normal food no junk food or sugar so much instead i gota count every little calorie???????????

  • i found this book about diet and health and i really like it
if you are interested this is the link

  • I’m a 12 year old, 6th grader and train 4-6 days a week. I meal prepped last week but just got busy this week. I really liked meal prepping but I felt like I was putting to much into it…like you said something easier, is what I would be looking for. Anyway what would you recommend as a posed to what you are eating? I really like you food choices, but just not sure how I should do less of stuff or change this and that up. Anyway thanks for taking the time to read this and you are such an inspiration.

  • For lunch I sometimes make egg fried rice! Get some cooked rice, add this to a pan with a bit of olive oil, add 3 eggs, red peppers and sometimes some peas, mix it all up and season with a bit of Braggs Liquid Aminos soy protein. Yum!!

  • I’ve got it. We as Humans were suppose to go into ketosis in the winter and eat a little fruit in the Hot dead Summer. The invention of the fridge is were we went wrong. berries gives us a little carbs to put on a little weight for winter and we put our catch on ice and go through the hard winters. Spring time eat some fish for Omega 3’s. If you think about it? You wing a pup of off milk and you do the same to a kitten. When does a Human get wing of off sugar? I think around 4 or 5 years old. We were on the right track with farms. Not having to spend all day long to hunt but to feed the cattle was the way forward I think. This is what freed up our time to do other things like inventing crap.

  • Thank you for sharing. We love doing eggroll in a bowl, use any protein, lots of cabbage, broccoli, cauli, brussels sprouts, carrot, beans, peppers, grated ginger, garlic, a few eggs scrambled in and tamari. I either eat alone or with rice if macros allow.

  • Looks great. We do the same thing you do with chicken breast and chicken thighs wand also with ground bison and ground turkey. Sometimes we even mix them together to make chili or meatballs just to give it a beefier flavor.

  • Loving your feedback YouTubers! For those commenting on my keto experience I wrote about it here: https://www.healthhackers.uk/article-list/2018/4/21/i-was-in-ketosis-for-years-heres-what-i-learnt

  • Hello!! I don’t use Keto either… I’m reinforcing myself here with your advice… I congratulate you for what you have shown…

  • Awesome video! And by the way, those protein balls are a game changer!.. i have to make alot now because everyone at my house likes them!. how times a week do you eat them if you dont mind me asking?

  • Oven roasted anything is generally my go-to for veggies.
As for carbs, my goal over the last year or so has been weight loss, so I have been keeping my carb macro count at around 52g per day. Is that too low? I feel like some days it is enough to sustain me through the demands of every day life, plus WODs, but then others, my body craves more carbs than this. I do feel the best I’ve felt in years, and have already lost 30lbs, but am still trying to lose more. Any advice?

  • We cook meals every Sunday too, but individual meals we can heat up, and not carb heavy like yours because we don’t exercise as much as you guys do.

  • Is Custokebon Secrets effective to lost tons of weight? I’ve learn numerous good stuff about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search).

  • Hi brother plz suggest me am explaining my diet plan of day of fat burning and six pack abs…either is fine or not?

Dnnr (egg + pulse + fruit salad )

  • If you stick your sweet potatoes in the oven for about 10 min before you cut them, they’re a lot softer! I love doing tacos, taco bowls, power bowls, and stir fry during the week! Power bowls help me get even more veggies in!

  • lebron james has a personal chef and invests over a million dollars in his body every year he’s not eating college bro fitness food

  • I am 63 and I workout daily. Everything from weight training to running, martial arts and even calisthenics on some days! The majority of my diet is plant-based and the documentary the Game Changers had a significant impact on my diet. I am just happy to read in the comment section about all of the older athletes who are still training hard! Fantastic!

  • This video has helped me sooo much. I always feel full during my caloric deficit, combining IF and eating meals very similar to these. Saving meals in the calorie counter also saves tons of energy. Thank you!

  • I’m confused because another video about skinny fat people says to maintain the calories I’m eating but this video says eat at a deficit.

  • Thanks for including stats and figures. I like something I can roughly calculate. I’ve lost nearly 40lbs over the last couple months, but I’ve been losing muscles as well. I need to find a good balance, because I don’t want a diet I want a life style if that makes sense. I’ve been consume even less then 1200 calories a day and I know that’s just not sustainable. I’m gonna put this data to use soon.

  • Anybody tried the Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google)? I have heard several awesome things about this popular weight loss secrets.

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really work? I notice many people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But Im uncertain if it is good enough to lost a lot of fat.

  • The real reason of insulin resistance is caused by excess of free fatty acids in the blood stream, which blocks the glucose receptors, not allowing proper uptake of glucose into the cells. People end up having more free fatty acid in the blood stream for various reasons, but root is stress which is chronic. Chronic Stress of any kind, mental, chemical due to lack of sleep and lack of exercise or over exercise, like in marathon runners, refined oil, excess flour, sugar, presevatives, or underlying infection, all elevates inflammation.
The elevated stress response triggers break down of fatty acids so that body could use them to make steroid hormones for managing stress in a better way. This is also the reason why most people with poor lifestyle have high level of LDL in blood stream, because it’s a response of the body to build stress hormones which require cholesterol as building block.
But the downfall is that if we don’t change our lifestyle and mindset, to cut down on refined food, mental stress and regulate our sleep and physical activity, stress response continues to be activated.
So everytime we eat food in a stressed state which is high in carb, had poor sleep or overtraining, though the insulin gets released, the fatty acids don’t allow them to go within the cells.
Therefore the root cause of insulin resistance is stress, which triggers inflammatory response and high free fatty acid release not excess glucose.

Using fat as fuel for long term is an emergency response of every living body under famine, therefore not an healthy response under optimum conditions. This is because fat is primary structural component and used as fuel only in emergency crisis states like fasting.
This means having low carbs high fat for long term puts the body and it’s metabolism into depletion mode, keeping the stress response active to certain extent!
The instant weightloss of low carb diet act as an attractive bait to continue with it, which mostly happens due to removal of refined flour, sugar an oils.
However making our cells effectively use glucose from Natural unrefined sources, like fruits, tubers, straches and even limited beans and multigrains is the best way to ramp up our cellular metabolism. The body and cellular functions then shifts to optimum environment of abundance and performance!

  • I love that fact Prof Noakes shows he’s a true scientist by follow the science. Doesn’t let even his own published work stop him from saying Hey I was wrong here’s the latest facts.

  • This man deserves the Nobel Prize, and as much as it must hurt having colleges troll you, it makes me have courage after my doctor treats me like a piece of shit for questioning her on the standard of care that’s killing me. She looks at me like I’m a nut case. So knowing someone like Tim gets grief let’s me know I’m not alone in the very very important fight. I may be a simple lay person, but I know from experience how LCHF has changed my life and health and I’m not at the mercy of anyone’s opinion no matter what their education is!! Thank you for doing what you do ❤

  • Just a few thoughts……….
You won’t find any obese people surviving to age 92, so it’s no surprise that your grandfather is lean.
Vegetables and nuts provide minerals and vitamins which are not found in meats.
    Bacon is a processed food.
If protein powder shakes were not sweet, how popular would they be?
“Easy spread butter” (e.g. Lurpak) is actually margarine. Check the label and notice the vegetable oil content. It is not butter.
If you are on a ketogenic diet, how can you be hungry before training? Are you not eating enough to see you through the day? Training with heavy weights is indeed possible, even desirable, while fasted in the morning.
Perhaps small amounts of real, coarse bread are less harmful, since it has a high protein and fat content, if unprocessed.
If we were all “totally unique”, medical/ nutritional science would not work.
And very good points on “balanced” diet, Dr Noakes.

  • As expert, I do think Custokebon Secrets is actually good way to lost a ton of weight. Why don’t you give it a shot? perhaps it is going to work for you too.

  • The truth about low carb diets is that they don’t work without limiting calories. The only benefit is that it is much easier to stop eating low carb meal than high carb because carbs prevent us to feel saturated. We also tend to eat carbs and sugars when we are not hungry just because they are so addictive.

  • … So I eat just animal fat IE butter eggs and bacon lard and T-bones… really oh my word I love this please tell me this is true

  • Very interesting but quite confusing interview.

    to sum up:

Avoid vegetables and fruits (because it’s industry), just buy meat, butter and pills (they do not come industry but directly from the nature or are made by a few artisans).

    that is weird to hear.

Does Tim questions the need of vitamins / minerals a lot of which come from plant based sources (for instance vitamin C)?

If vitamins are needed where does he gets his vitamins when avoiding plants?
Does he buys pills created by another industry?

I do not know why “plant growing industry” should be considered bad and current “meat growing industry” should be considered good, they are both industries (but the first does not kill anyone).

more than that half if not more of what “plant growing industry” produces is required just to feed the animals.

for sure processed food is bad (and can cause diabetes), but vegetables and fruits should not be blamed.
oranges, carrots and strawberries are not your enemies but rather friends.

  • Thanks Professor Noakes: Very low carbohydrate diet has help put my diabetes disease in remission, and take away “all” those nasties that come with metabolic syndrome. My general health has improved very very much…. like 15 years younger. And all the improvements have come in just a few months. Btw I’m just > 70 so it works for the older guys too.

  • Did you know that the diff color bell peppers are actually the same pepper just at diff stages of ripeness?! Fun fact. Green to Yellow to Orange to Red being fully ripe. Their nutrients and health benefits also change at each stage. Thanks for the meal prep!

  • Wonderful and inspiring content. Quick cutting board tip. Wet a paper towel and put it under your plastic board. No more moving around!

  • I cannot stand the push in South Africa by Prof Noakes fanatics to get everyone pushing hectic ketogenic diets that ignore the increased cancer risk. And do not even think of saying anything against him and his fanatics if you are in the health professions or else he will sue you and don’t think that a big name brand researcher with loads of cash and fancy lawyers cannot take out some young woman with little backing who is basing a tweet answer she made, on her training as a dietician and on personal experience. As for bashing his PhD students here… All in extremely poor taste and has closed down a very necessary debate in South Africa about eating for one’s unique body.) Why he couldn’t have just gone to the various medical schools doing dietician training, and ask them to consider putting a ketogenic diet into their basket of tools by showing him a darn good paper of his own summarizing what he found… No. He has to sue someone and make a big thing of his victory!!
Yes, pls cut out all the processed crap (especially sugar!) but do not think that a highly carnivorous diet is good for you or for the environment. Make no mistake, this is a rich person’s diet that is great for losing weight, but start saving up for the gut specialist that you will need if you don’t get enough fiber and cancers…. Let alone smelling ghastly and looking old before your time.
I personally would like to see a damping down on the Keto coaches in SA pushing the diet on everyone with absolutely no idea of who should NOT be on the diet and what symptoms mean that you should stop IMMEDIATELY! (This was my personal experience.)

  • I read lots of superb opinions on the internet about how exactly Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google) will help you lost crazy amounts of weight. Has anybody tested out this popular fat loss system?

  • Great content as usual. Every single I am getting inspired by your videos therefore my mindset has changed alot since I discovered this channel and others like this one. I hope this https://youtu.be/nBEhD9dCfM4 is a sumplement here

  • Anyone tried the Custokebon Secrets (look on google search engine)? We have noticed numerous awesome things about this popular weight loss secrets.

  • Animals are integral parts of all the ecosystems of the planet. There is no healthy intact ecosystem on Earth without animals.

Cattle are not harming the planet, in spite of the propaganda. Peter Ballerstedt, PhD ‘Health Without Guilt’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZcMQiXWao4

Supermarket beef is better for the planet than supermarket chicken! Imagine that. Or pork, since, like chicken, pork is also factory farmed. Yet there are small, local farms and family operated farms around the U.S.A.

Beef is good. 100% grassfed and grass finished beef is better. Beef raised on pasture and forages alone, aka ‘grassfed’, with no synthetic anything is best no petrochemical fly treatments known as ‘pour ons’ applied to their spines, no chemical de-wormers, no hormone implants, no pesticides, herbicides, etc applied to their pasture or stored forages (hay, balage, pelleted forage, etc) which are all basically stored pasture.

It is worth seeking out the dedicated, hardworking people in your area who raise beef this way. Many of them also raise pork and poultry on pasture. Some also raise rabbits and/or other animals our ancestors enjoyed. Look online, or check the Farm & Garden section on Craigslist.

If you can’t find one, check out White Oak Pastures in Georgia, Polyface Farms in Va., http://www.WestWindAcres.com in NY, Heritage Grazers, LLC in VT, Greener Pastures in Mo, or Nourished by Nature in ND, the marketing arm of Gabe Brown’s family farm.

Even better than that raise it yourself!

  • The prairies had 12 feet of good top soil on it when it was covered buffalo and again when replaced by cattle. The grain growers moved in, the top soil disappeared, many species died out and then the dust bowl happened. The drain habitat to grow rice in California. Grains are an enviormental disaster.

  • ‘Vegetable’ oils These are not made from vegetables, but from seeds. They are processed in oil refineries that look like… oil refineries, as though they were petroleum. Petrochemicals are used to extract seed oils, and in other steps along the way, including chemically do-odorizing them. These seed oils are so damaged and oxidized that the rancid smell would make us retch without this step.

Coconut, olive, and avacado oils are made from fruits, not vegetables. However, there is no need to fear the fats our ancestors ate and cooked with for about as long as humans have been… human.

The documentation is out there for those who are interested. Nina Tiecholtz’s book ‘Big Fat Surprise’ has a lot of info on the religious and corporate promoters behind demonizing animal fats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Lww5WH7INI

Dr. Barry Groves is one of the people who mention the use of technology to study ancient human remains, including coprolites (fossilized feces) to document what early humans actually ate. Anthropologists have long been able to tell just by looking at bones whether the person ate a plant-based or animal-source dietbecause after people began growing crops and relying on grain and/or legumes as staples, they became shorter, their dentition was not as good (crocked teeth, etc), they had more tooth decay, and their brains became smaller:

  • Hello, have you thought about this diet plan called the Custokebon Secrets? My sister says it helps people lost tons of weight. Is that possible? I also noticed a lot of excellent review relating to this diet plan. Thoughts?

  • Have been following you since I went keto 2 years ago and have always been so proud of your ethics! Want to support you by my own example(a lot of people still don’t want to listen or changeTheir problem). You are the greatest, Timothy Noakes! Great podcast!

  • I make high fat deserts with eggs(preferably just the yolks), butter, cream, gelatine and a little sweetener plus a flavour of choice (100% chocolate or lemons work well. Purists say sweeteners are bad, but I find a combination of erythritol and stevia can make food taste good without raising my blood glucose. This way I get enough fat in my diet to not constantly feel hungry! Fat bombs are also underrated as a means of satiating that hunger.

  • Se necesitan subtítulos en español! El español es el segundo idioma más hablado del mundo, más que inglés incluso, y no tienen subtítulos?

  • Seemed a little deceptive to claim that dairy is insulinogenic and then omit high fat low protein dairy like heavy cream and butter from the slide. For the record: Butter has an insulin index of 2…

  • Hi, have you considered this kind of diet plan known as the Custokebon Secrets? My friend says it helps people lost a lot of weight. Is that possible? I also noticed many excellent review relating to this diet plan. Thoughts?

  • He never differentiates between refined and whole carbs. There is nothing wrong with whole plant foods. Can’t stand this misinformation, so one sided

  • At 14:40 he says ther’s no person who will tell you that not eating is moderation yes there is: Cole Robinson of Snake Diet channel who tells us to lead a fasting focused lifestyle. He is right, we are not meant to eat every day. Does Tim Noakes still have diabetes bc fasting heals Type 2, Cole gets great results with Type 1s as well.

  • Useful interview but so disappointing Gemma that you don’t actually know what the Dr Aitkins diet was all about. He recommended keeping carbs under 30 gm’s per day for two weeks to get fully into ketosis, then moving up at the rate of 5-10 grams of carbs per week until you are still in low levels of ketosis and that was the maximum carb level. So everyone ended up on a unique level of carbs per day sometime in the second month.

  • I dont agree fully but mostly. Everybody is not the same, some does not have enough high stomach acid for high protein consumption. Fat, protein and some vegetables or/and even carbs may be needed for some people. Some people in some nations cannot digest red meat well, they are more suitable for fish and bird meat like chicken. Everybody is not the same, we might came from the same origin but we moved to different places and “adapted” accordingly. It is all about digestion. And you need to supplement the digestion, it is not all about the input, it is about the digestion and conversion. People will come to this point maybe some time later, and they will say they were mistaken before. Mediterranean diet is also healthy in my opinion but it does not favor this much of protein. Grandpa lives at 90 years, at least he digests well what he eats, it may not be optimal but still you dont know he is healthy or not, I agree that grandpa might be better eating some more fat. Also saying that you dont need even vegetables can lead to making the same mistake he did 20 years ago, he might be right but he might be wrong too. Telling everybody the same amount or ratio of food is stg like saying everybody should drink 2 cups of coffee but not tea, tell that to British, and Caucasians in Georgia, it wont be suitable to them.

  • Hello friends, I share this product that is the best that I have tried since it has an extensive amount of diets and products that help us to make our body healthy and healthy and the best thing does not cost even 5 dollars also that it is digital, here below I leave you the link for you to see it I’m sure you will love it https://go.hotmart.com/A39998541Y?dp=1

  • I like your videos, straight to the point and informative, I would like to know what’s the effect of salt in meals? How much should you eat and how it’s related to weight loss

  • I’m an ex vegan who suffered health problems after 5 years of whole foods plant based eating, but can someone tell me how Dr. Esselstyn and Dr. Ornish show arteries unclogging? Do carnivore and Keto doctors have similar data?

  • For those who would like to dive deeper down the rabbit holeProf. Tim Noakes goes further into the pros and cons of eating meat (animal protein plus fat) vs eating plants: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mwCZ2k6dSM

  • Great interview as always. Two years into LCHF and still doing great. You have been a great inspiration to me Tim. I’ll be in SA but unfortunatley not around Capetown. Would be an honor and a privilege to meet Prof Noakes some day!

  • Guys. lost a ton of fat does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’ll give you some advice now. Look for a popular fat burn method called Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google). Thanks to it I have lost lots of fat. I probably should not even be talking about it cause I do not really want a lot of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I am just simply in a excellent mood today so I’ll share the wealth haha.

  • Hello there, have you considered this kind of diet plan known as the Custokebon Secrets? My sister says it helps people lost tons of weight. Is that possible? I also heard numerous excellent review relating to this diet plan. Thoughts?

  • What are some ways to lost a ton of fat? I read a lot of superb reviews on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost a ton of fat. Has anybody tried using this popular weight loss methods?

  • Russians also love potatoes, this is almost a mandatory product)))…I remember that I did not have access to the Internet yet, I could find information on nutrition in bodybuilding magazines (crossfit has not yet appeared), although I only worked to keep in shape, ran a little, did a little with dumbbells and barbells…but even without magazines, my body demanded these products, they literally stood in front of my eyes, rice, pasta, chicken breast, sweet pepper (I love), greens, broccoli, eggs, oatmeal…conclusion, it is necessary to listen to the body, it can say, what is missing (maybe not at all )…well, when a beautiful professional tells about nutrition-this information is presented “on a Golden tray”, all conditions are created for those who REALLY want to look after themselves…I will not get tired of “talking”, THANK YOU!

  • Shoutout to the #ricecakegang! Hope you enjoyed this one – comment below what other nutrition-related topics you’d like me to cover and I’ll get on it! Cheers!

  • We just jumped right in Vegan now our second week. No cheating. My husband can already tell he had NOOOO pain in his knees we already lost weight. I sleep good regardless, he “was” an insomniac been sleeping good all night no restless leg stuff. I have higher cholesterol but other than that in great shape. It was literally the Game Changers that made us go Vegan. I can’t wait to retest my blood in a month. I am fuller quicker. It’s nuts. And everything we have eaten even plant based meats taste great!!!!

  • Been on a weight loss journey for about seven months, with a 2.5 month hiatus at the beginning of the year. I didn’t change anything that I eat, except cutting out soda and sugary drinks. I just eat 1500 calories a day, dropping from 245 to 223 in just under 5 months. I’ve just started this week adding exercises and gym workouts, so we’ll see how much it helps me reach my goal pf 130 by next summer. Wish me luck!

  • Every things sounds amazing, but as endormorph & a diabetic sugar & carbs are my enemy. Does not work for people like me tried it. I eat nothing white and barely carbs, now that works

  • For everyone wondering if this has any facts backed up to it, this is basically 99% accurate. Lebron has literally said this exact diet on a podcast, so yes, this is accurate.

  • I started boxing about 3 years ago and stopped for one year, ate terribly bad and didnt do much exercise. I started having weird symptoms like palpitations, chest pain, dizziness, and numbness. I got a little freaked out but accepted it as it is. I went whole food plant base and the symptoms stopped in about 3 weeks. Still get little palpitations but its not as bad as it was.

  • I am going to try plant based again. I can’t seem to get past the cravings for foods with more taste long term. I did notice when I got off sugar for a while my BP normalized. Do you think If I eat fruit, the natural sugars will raise my BP?

  • This is interesting because Dr McDougall recommends a diet of starch and nothing else. The long-term viability of the diet was more or less confirmed by the Lykov family, who lived in isolation in Siberia on boiled potatoes for approximately 40 years. Potatoes and nothing else, that was it. They didn’t even have salt to put on the potatoes. I believe Agafia Lykova is over 70 years old and still alive today, and the last time I heard about her she hadn’t moved from her potato diet.

And then you have people like Jordan Peterson and his daughter, who live on beef alone. If both Agafia Lykova and Jordan Peterson can pull it without having major health problems, that probably means we can run more or less on anything for very long periods of time, perhaps even a lifetime. So I think I’ll save myself headaches and stick to the “treadmill diet,” which is 30 minutes of running every day and stuffing yourself with whatever you want.

  • I’m glad that she brought up that she’s hungry even after eating low carb high fats. Me too!
She brings up a lot of great questions.

  • It’s probably a bit late for an answer to this but I’ll ask anyway. My 15yo son (soccer) has a 1hour commute to and from training 3-4 days a week after school which ends around 7pm. I’m keen to have portable meals that he can eat on the way home in the car. Any ideas?

  • Ive been a vegan for 2 years now. Unfortunately I am starting to suffer from low testosterone and my doctor said i need to up my intake of natural cholesterol in my diet. Any vegan suggestions, as I’m starting to contemplate having eggs.

  • When i had revealed this weight loss weight, I felt energized to try it instantaneously. I was certainly delighted. My own close friend shed 10 pounds soon after this kind of weight loss weight. My best mate has dropped 10 pounds by now due to this weight loss weight. Find a right guide is not easy, you can discover on Google. Guide’s name is Bella Kaγozko

  • Good talk Jamie! Interesting point about better recovery, I have done a couple of workouts recently in a fasted state (one atleast 60 hours that I can remember) and I actually felt much stronger than the last time I did weights and my muscles werent nearly as sore, now I know it’s because of less oxidative stress!!

  • Variation is key.!!! Let’s be real, plant based diet has its own pros&cons and and keto diet has its own pro&cons. The thing here is to be healthy and “alive”.”don’t limit yourself to one”.”exercise and vary the food”.
    Thankyou.!

  • I became so fired up to take the dietary regimen. I didn`t change my very own diet weight and also did not boost my exercise level. Over a period of a month, I lost around 6 pounds. The technique has let me consumed lesser and getting full is a lot a lot quicker. Find a right guide is not easy, you can research on Google. Guide’s name is under.

  • I see other people complaining about muscle aches the next day, and I just laugh. I have always been vegetarian, and now plant-based, I am always ready to do another hour of weight-lifting and cardio the next day.

  • Any opinion about this?
Rong Y, Chen L, Zhu T, et al. Egg consumption and risk of coronary heart disease and stroke: dose-response meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies.

  • I served in the military for 28+ years and have experienced physical fitness training on a daily basis, so I know what it feels like to be sore!  I am plant based and can attest to the fact that there is no comparison in the recovery time. After completing the race at 61 years old, I rested after the race and was ready to go the following day for another workout.  It never ceases to amaze me, thank you Rich Roll and Scott Jurek!

  • Awesome video! And by the way, those protein balls are a game changer!.. i have to make alot now because everyone at my house likes them!. how times a week do you eat them if you dont mind me asking?

  • For everyone wondering if this has any facts backed up to it, this is basically 99% accurate. Lebron has literally said this exact diet on a podcast, so yes, this is accurate.

  • Diet Plan known as Custokebon Secrets kept showing up here on different videos and I thought they were scams. However after my mate follow it, and finally lost plenty of weight with it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. Don’t take my own word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine.

  • Is Custokebon Secrets effective to lost a ton of weight? We have read numerous good things about Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google).

  • Throughout this weight loss weight, a couple of my peers drop beyond 13 pounds! Many people told me to have a look at it also. Just after I experimented with the weight, I have eliminated FIFTEEN lbs. Find a right guide is not easy, you can research on Google. Program’s name is below.

  • I am lean, I have a huge bread and sugar addiction. Sugar is under control but can’t help myself with bread. I was self diagnosed insulin resistant, I had all the symptoms that Tim Noakes described except not over weight. I couldn’t even drive the car without falling asleep and I realized it had been going on for about 20 years.

Trying to fix it with intermittent fasting and flipping my diet from once a vegan to now eating more meat and fat and reducing all the crap. Beware of alcohol, it really is the silent killer if you ask me.

  • Have you seen Game Changes on Netflix? Might want to check it out, I think it’ll really help your performance and understanding of the latest empirical evidence on nutrition.

  • I love coming across random videos from fit, healthy people like yourself, and seeing them eating EXACTLY what I eat daily. So encouraging!! Thanks for sharing:)

  • Thanks for this it’s really helpful, just started CrossFit it’s so hard but loving it already and did my first meal prep with these suggestions this weekend

  • Such a simple plan and so easy to follow. Honestly one of the easiest to follow nutrition videos I’ve seen in a long time. I’m going to steal the carbs idea to rotate them out every day!

  • Im an athletes and i follow a strict whole food plant based diet but i wont lie: i have oil 3 times or so a week and i feel better (training) when i do. Perhaps its the benefit of the extra calories. I just hope its not laying down some athro but due to the exercise i think im safe at 3 times a week.

  • Meal prep made easy! It’s like you read my mind. That was exactly what I was looking for! I like the key messages of variety and consistency.

  • Food ideas are always appreciated thanks! Thanks too for doing the Julie Foucher podcast! You lesson of staying balanced in life was a welcome reminder. Whether it fitness or work! Have fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K_JKumuGqU

  • Great video. Do you normally leave the skin on the sweet potatoes when roasting? Ive always peeled them first, but if it cuts down on time, I’m all for it, lol

  • Main points:
Prioritize having more highly satiating foods.
Incorporate more high volume, low calorie foods
Consume a protein source within every main meal (ideally 0.4g/kg bodyweight)

    Example meal:
Oats (high volume, low calories) + whey powder (protein) + strawberries (high volume, low calories).

  • Hey I started working out recently to get muscle and strength. I’m 5’8, 190lbs and would want to get down to 175. Ive started eating once a day and take 3 scoops of protein shake after my workout. Would you recommend that for me to gain muscle and loose weight at the same time?

  • Meal prep made easy! It’s like you read my mind. That was exactly what I was looking for! I like the key messages of variety and consistency.

  • Guys, losing weight doesn’t need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Look for a diet plan called Custokebon Secrets. Seriously, that program has transformed my entire life. I probably shouldn’t even be mentioning it because I don’t want a bunch of other guys out there running the same “game” but whatever, I am just in a great mood today so I will share the wealth haha.

  • That’s for the insight into your nutrition! A lot of people seem to be private about this stuff, so thanks for sharingps do you shift Polaris tshirts internationally?

  • There are three factors in fat reduction exercise, diet, and motivation.
One resource I discovered that successfully combines these is the Triple trim formula (check it out on google) without a doubt the no.1 diet that I have ever heard of.
Check out all the before and after photos and interesting reviews.

  • It’s still amaze me just how lots of people don’t know about Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google) despite the fact that lots of people lost crazy amounts of weight with it. Thanks to my personal friend who told me about this. I’ve lost a ton of weight.

  • There was an Academic Seth Roberts who over dosed on butter for a year, he claimed butter made his brain function better. He died of a sudden heart attack while mountain biking aged 60. Butter increases cholesterol but also medium length triglycerides. Read the 1967 study by Rosenman on the effect of lipids and IHD. Both triglycerides and Cholesterol ratio are a factor.

Any advice?

  • I always eat 80g of Oat mixed with 25g Wildberry Mix, one mashed Banana and dried dates and water. especially when the berrys are still slightly frozen, dat shit is delicious af

  • As specialist, I’m sure Custokebon Secrets can be great way to lost a ton of weight. Why not give it a shot? maybe it will work for you too.

  • When considering eating healthy, you have to never fall victim to modern fad diets. Extreme diet plans undoubtedly are a risk for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your every day nutritional intake. Many of these fad diets work for a short period of time and then the benefits decrease after a while. It is best to search Custokebon Secrets on google as it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • Air fryer is amazing!!! Turkey meatballs with croutons and an egg combine season and make meatballs in air fryer. So delicious especially with pasta

  • Professor Noakes your a genius well done. Been on hi fat low carb regime. I have lost 20 kgs in 5 months I’m feeling amazing my mind is sharp. I’m 60 years of age a cyclist and are blowing my cycling mates away. They are stunned by what’s going on. Kudos to you Tim

In just a short period of 1 month, I actually lost 6 lbs. Making use of this procedure, I did realize that I consumed food less and also filled up faster. Google should help you to research it.
