However, the United States is facing a crisis of obesity, due in part to the “supersizing” of meals in fast-food outlets, the extra-large servings offered at some restaurants, and the lack of exercise and control of food intake.

  • WoW America’s got it good, not only do they make money making ppl fat “cough” fast food… but they make money off em when they get fat as well… wow, great business idea’s.

and ya wonder why its not working when you just build more fast food places lol.

oh hi I’m Canadian, I figured out the answer to that in 5 seconds. less ability to get fast foods, more prone to cooking a healthy meal.

  • but like how I get it if you actually have to work out to loose weight that takes effor but it takes litterally no effort to not eat

  • In the year 1960 obesity rates in America were less than 14%. In the last 50-60 years the obesity rate among Americans has increased dramatically. Some people do have genetic and/or medical conditions that cause them to hold on to body fat but not most people. There may be a psychological element to obesity but then you must ask why does only Mexico have a higher obesity rate than us? Why our other nations not experiencing these issues that we seem to face here?

  • Honestly, this documentary is one of the most unintentionally funny things I have ever seen.

The large woman wearing a shower curtain is hilarious.

I think this documentary has rolled up every American stereotype there is into one clip.

  • why american so fat? dont blame goverment your friend or your family. just blame yourself.
you guys dont have to eat less, you just need to eat healty, thats a first step but really impactfull.
eating sugar only give you calories but barely make you fill

  • Go to Walmart and 90% of food is highly fructose, zugar, colorants, etc. Junk food, kids spend 90% of their time playing videogames, cellphone i side home, no exercise,

  • “I am comfortable in my own skin, I wont apologize to anybody for the way I am”…her relatives must help her wear shoes…its selfish to think like this, at least say something

  • i think it is that we are not moving around as much. I went to a 3rd world country and a lot of people were walking and bicycling. I came back to the US and it looked so automated with hardly anyone walking. Now you have grocery pickup that you can order on your phone and pick it up when you get there. How much laziness is enough? On top of that food manufacturers are making their foods taste better with added calories. Then we have TV, internet, and cell phones. There is no wonder there is an obesity epidemic in our country.

  • The cost of healthy food far exceeds the cost of “bad” foods. If you do not make a great deal of money you will have a more difficult time buying the foods you need. However I guess us fatties could get off our but and work. If we are physically able to do so.

I agree the majority of obese folks are that way due to wrong food choices and lack of working out but, there are some who have health conditions that they have no control over.

  • What these people don’t realize is that they are not only harming their health but also their families. If they have children, how is this going to impact them?

  • As the incidence of obesity continues to increase, the development of effective therapies is a high priority. The endocannabinoid system has emerged as an important influence on the regulation of energy homeostasis. The endocannabinoids anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglycerol act on cannabinoid receptor-1 (CB1) in the brain and many peripheral tissues causing a net anabolic action. This includes increasing food intake, and causing increased lipogenesis and fat storage in adipose tissue and liver. The endocannabinoid system is hyperactive in obese humans and animals, and treating them with CB1 antagonists causes weight loss and improved lipid and glucose profiles. Although clinical trials with CB1 antagonists have yielded beneficial metabolic effects, concerns about negative affect have limited the therapeutic potential of the first class of CB1 antagonists available.

  • Admit it we are here because we are not happy with how our body look and we want to look great once more.. There should be a good reason why so many of us have unwanted belly fat, it is because the diet and weight loss company that dont work… You guys should see this video as it exposed all these scammers. The video is found at the Fat Combust Factor (google it) Ive heard some awesome stuff about it and my dad burned alot of unwanted fats:)

  • Southern States complaining about big government and they cost the taxpayers so much money in health care because their irresponsible life style, total fraud

  • I honestly thought the “r” word was ghnna be “responsibility”. everything in this is an excuse. If you think hard enough you can blame or rationalize anything and be the victim.

  • A really good product. Weight Loss Green Store Tea helps with the appetite, and is all natural ingredients for weight loss. All in all, great price, really good product, and a great company.

  • If fast food was never invented, people exercise all the time, meat is illegal, liposuction cost less, and people eat only fruits and vegetables then no one would be fat ever

  • These are in areas where there is great poverty this should also be examined the link between poverty and obesity, because poverty brings about depression and other mental, emotional and spiritual health concerns and obesity brings about many problems that stem from various root factors, the best way to combat it is through education not just teaching them about health risks but by reiterating the importance of eating for health, such as having a program that helps people grow their own food, educating them on how to prepare it, also addressing the root causes such as poverty, also looking at the GMO’s and other items used in our food

  • BULLSHIT! I am 83 years old and weigh the same as when I was in high-school. I do a lot of cooking. I have discovered the secret to good cooking. It”s simple, just add more sugar, salt and butter than what the recipe calls for. The real issue here is not what you eat, it’s the quantity of what you eat. Here’s a simple solution for over-eating. When you go to the refrigerator to get something to eat, ask yourself as you open the door: “Am I hungry?” If you are not hungry, don’t eat anything.

  • A good way to go is introducing a sugar Tax(excluding nature sugar in friut n veg)!! The revenue from the tax go to subsidize fresh fruit n vegetables n or health food store startups!!

  • More than 90% of all videos are furnished with this annoying noise
what is the rationale behind it? i long to listen and watch a quiet docu
without straining to hear the narration, had to give it up after 5 mins

  • Fat shaming needs to comeback… thats the only way… its like having a tumour, a defect in the body… when people get a tumour, they dont stand around telling “It’s my choice and I like the way it makes me feel”… they get off their arse and get it removed… Obesity needs to be treated the same way…. coming from a former obese dude who went from 120 to 86 kgs… Fat shaming might sting, but it gets the job done…

  • And again, no one dares to utter the R-word REFINED CARBOHYDRATES!!! They try to put it more Agra-Lobby-friendly, “sugar and fat rich foods” and of course can not let of the “too much calories”-myth.

If you kick out refined carbs, where do people get their energy from? It has to be unprocessed natural FAT! But unfortunately AGRA and PHARMA lobbies don’t like the idea that the old unproven myth of “fat makes you fat and give heart disease” could disappear causing them billions of dollars lost on statin drug and grain market.

What CDC does is trying to act in between two Big Daddies the government and AGRA/PHARMA lobby. They can’t say to you eat more natural unprocessed fats and throw refined carbs in your rubbish bin! Big Daddy gonna be angry about that…

  • In Europe we have different food.Or different style of eating. And I guess that’s why we are thinner. But if we compare Europe with Asians we are fat. Because Japanese, Koreans etc are more thinner then anyone. M in Asia is XS for Europe.

  • Diet & exercise seems to be the simple solution. Have just a little bit of willpower and don’t live a sedentary lifestyle, you probably won’t be obese.

  • People aren’t being told the real reason they are fat. It’s because of processed foods. We are told that it is ok to eat wheat bread, bread, white flour, pasta. When in reality you shouldn’t go near that stuff, even with a cement condom.

  • Hihi, have you wondered about this plan called the SkinniMaker Diet? (go search google). My cousin says it helps people get thinner.

  • This is so wrong. In this society, we don’t accept heroin addicts but it’s justifiable to respect and go along with food addicts that are super morbidly obese?!?

  • my teacher literally gave me an assignment with this YouTube video attached to it, and i’m not gonna lie, its quiet boring, there’s no excitement in this video at all, its all about people eating foods that just make you fat, as i’m sitting over here thinking bout chocolate cake. We all get that sugars, fats make you fat, well more than what you need, but to break down the quantum physics of what type of foods you eat and whats inside them that makes your bones became brail and make u not walk anymore, ( yes i’m writing this instead of doing my work, but we all know who even cares whats in our foods, snacks, drinks, all i care about is that i’m eating) yes there might be lets say a 7% of those people that actually want to know whats inside their food, but i know this didn’t even make sense, all im saying is, im gonna fail this assignment and yeah…..good day, from random unacknowledged kid

  • Hey there! Have you tried fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my auntie got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost tons of fat with it.

  • >> so you know my dad used to pour soup tablespoon size mayonnaise on almost everything, obviously he got a problem with salty and fatty food plus the portions were unreasonable, now is not an option the eating habits, HE GOT TO CHANGE now if he want to live, sharing this so you guys know is up to you to keep yourself checked on your dietary habits, don’t let obesity control your life, first things first, don’t go straight to try loosing 60 pounds right away, first change your food habits

  • who is to blame for obesity? the food? the media? the parents? or yourself?

I would say is a bit of everything, here my dad got Diabetes thanks to his obesity, basically destroyed his pancreas, been nonfunctional for 3 yrs already, he is around 450 475 pounds, and he is just 46 yrs now, problem with him as we saw it is part his diet, he hated diets, refursed to change, and was a constant battle from me and my mom to make him change

  • “people didnt decided to become over weight”…OF course!!, why would obese people blame themselves for CHOOSING to eat to much, when its clearly everyone elses fault!!! sheesh
    some people

  • The idea is to Educate people on how to eat healthy. And, because of the Toxins we injest every day, i.e. the water we drink, the food we eat and the air we breathe, it is impossible to be and stay healthy today. You Can eat healthy for less, You can have the most nutritious meal on the planet for about $2.65. And, it removes the toxins from your body, which causes the body to retain fat cells. For more info go to achieveurdream watch the short video on toxins and contact me there.

  • We all gain weight as we get older. Back in 1982 as a 16 years old male, I weighed 126 pounds at 5’6”. Now I weigh 136 at 54 years old. It not easy to shed that 10 pounds. You just have to accept it and used that extra pounds as a muscle.

  • I believe one of the most important things to learn about is insulin because it plays a major role in all this. Keep those insulin levels low and your health will improve.

  • Fat person here! Piss off with your judgmental comments. Not all of us are just lazy and stuffing our faces with McDonald’s all day. If anything the weight gain is probably because of all the bs diets we cycle through

  • How can Louisiana have the highest incident of HIV and the most fat people? Oh I get it there are a lot of fat nurses taking care of the skinny ass aids patients.

  • Well most poor people are fead empty food and most times it’s all they can afford so yah, just some farms use empty food to fatten livestock and poltry ( birds) ECT, because it’s cheaper, that’s what happens when your poor. You don’t always have a choice of what food you can buy…some people even have a full time job, sometimes even good full time jobs and can’t keep up the inflation, it’s hard to also hold onto a job when they always need to save money by kicking people to curb even good loyal long term hard working employees are not safe…all so the CEO and top people can buy another mansion or go on more world trips or buy more experience “luxury” goods why there employees are living homeless, having to go on public assistance, losing there jobs and possibly not able to get another job…it’s sad…. just so the super rich and there buddy’s can say how they got there life style by there hard work alone ( not the people they’re over working and underpaying) and they just tell them work harder if you can’t get by it’s your fault never ours….it’s no wonder 4 out of 5 adults are obeas ( over wait )….so yah…

  • OBESITY GATHERED IN THEIR MASSES AND CHOCKED DOWN HOT DOGS AND BEER. THE VIRUS SPREAD THROUGHOUT MAJOR CITIES AND PANIC SET IN. TOTAL CHAOS AND ANARCHY ARE COMING AND THE STORE SHELVES WILL EMPTY AND STARVATION WILL HAPPEN ESPECIALLY IN CHINA AND THE ENTIRE KOREAN PENINSULA AND JAPAN IRAN IRAQ SYRIA AND RUSSIA WILL BE HIT HARD. AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN WILL SUFFER AS WELL. BUT A MASSIVE WAR WILL OCCUR WHEN MILLIONS START REVOLTING DUE TO STARVATION.

  • I’m 41 this year and weigh 127lbs. I try my hardest to manage my weight because I know my metabolism slows down as l get older. In addition I deal with arthritis issues now so exercising is harder than it use to be. I think people just need to do better at choosing healthier food options and eating in moderation.

  • It’s the most heartbreaking to are obese children. The American government is a joke, allowing pop and candy vending machines in public schools? Is that money really worth the well being of children?

  • HEY ABC WHY ARE YOU FAT SHAMING?? LET THEM DIE IN PEACE! THIS 2020 no cares about about facts, a man can be woman and woman can be a
Man. If a fat person identifies as skinny, THEN WHO ARE YOU ABC TO SAY OTHERWISE!! Get with program!! And delete this video. YOU ARE TRIGGERING PEOPLE FEELINGS!!

  • Maybe Bloomberg will spin this. Remember he wanted to do away with the super size soda? He is paying heavy money to this journalist network.

  • Yes, people work more hours for less money, have less time to be home and cook, and the cost of healthy food is expensive. System is kinda rigged.

  • Its not a obesity epidemic. Its a diabetes epidemic and they know it. Its all about making money and saving money. If your doctor has told you that you are prediabetic, you need to go to walmart and buy a glucose meter before your health is damaged. 90% of prediabetics develop full blown T2 diabetes. Your doctor wont tell you that.

  • I’m 5’5, 129 lbs. which for my frame is the correct weight. If I gain a pound I find a way to get it off. I refuse to become overweight

  • Did that woman’s family offer to pay for her surgery? Of course because they don’t want to be the ones to take care of her when she’s bedridden. I don’t think she understands how this impacts other people.

  • I live in the south and from my observation economic and education status doesn’t seem to make a difference. It seems to be uncool to eat right. Some fear change. Some just love oily greasy food. Being vegan is like being an alien. If the whole country became rich the only way they would loose weight is liposuction. I am least educated in my circle and I do not have the income most of them have but I make do buying healthier foods.

  • I love how I’m underweight and while watching this I’m scared of the none-existing fast food I eat and how it is effecting my body.

  • Its more than that on the streets. Seats are giant now. Go shopping for clothes, you can’t find anything under an 8 in many stores and an 8 is now giant.

  • The up rise in prevalence of obesity in the world is s major factor in negatively impacting global economy and human being quality of life, this epidemic should stop, and we all responsible

  • No its nkt the tunnel vision we dont say that we nudge you from your size but we do tell you look awful and the first one who should notice it and try to change it ks you…you just need willpower but in that point i think you behind 20 goals and it 70min on tje clock

  • Ugh. I went on a cruise ship that left out of Galveston Texas. More than half the people on board were from Texas and I was GOBSMACKED at how HUMONGOUS a lot of those people were. Just gross.

  • Thats because people eat McDonald’s and drink soda’s every single day instead of water. Plus if more people smoked cigarettes, they would be thinner. They would rather eat 22 cheeseburgers with a large coke

  • We don’t need “journalists” to tell us that as a group we have grown fat, lazy and decadent. We need to know how and why we have been led to this.

  • I’m ok with fat people but I don’t like the extreme fat people saying that there ok, I understand that your beautiful but me suggesting losing weight has nothing to do with your looks, IT HAS TO DO WITH BEING HEALTHY AND LIVING LONGER stop being ignorant if you truly believe that you’re beautiful than you wouldn’t risk your life for food because who wants somebody that’s really beautiful to die young ❤️

  • Linda has no problem with her size

  • I mean you can be a bit chubby and be gorgeous but there’s a difference between being a bit heavier than your ideal weight and being obese

  • What these people don’t realize is that they are not only harming their health but also their families. If they have children, how is this going to impact them?

  • I was morbidly obese. I started Keto 14 months ago. I eat a lot of SATURATED fat. I never intentionally eat “vegetable oils” I never eat foods in a box and never eat out. I cook. No longer obese. Staying on Keto. I’m a 71 years old male and fit. HbA1c is 5.4. “Wisdom is proved righteous by it’s results.” said by Jesus about 2K years ago.

  • My wife was fat! Until she divorced me. Then she lost whole lot of weight, bleached her hair got a few tattoos and a suntan. LOL.

  • Big Pharma would go bust if not for what the food industry is currently serving up. One has to wonder if they’re not in bed together. At the same time, if we all starting living longer as a result of healthy diets; would there be enough resources to support the ever growing population explosion?

  • It’s not rocket science. The US is full of dumb people, the food is cheap, people are wealthy, there’s no regulations on restaurants and your eating and walking habits are shit. And your health system wont make any money if they actually prevent ppl from getting that fat.

    1. Invest in education. Real education. Dont waste time singing the national anthem each morning.
    2. Regulate the food industry properly.
    3. Public healthcare will work wonders.

But since you are ideologically opposed to all of that, you will stay the sad, fat nation that you are.

  • Slogan of the Americans must be: we love to eat every junk food aka fast food that’s literally at every block every single day and don’t even do exercise.

  • No its nkt the tunnel vision we dont say that we nudge you from your size but we do tell you look awful and the first one who should notice it and try to change it ks you…you just need willpower but in that point i think you behind 20 goals and it 70min on tje clock

  • Whatever, Americans are fat but I’m 5’10” and im supposed to be 155 pounds which is stupid. Was 167 and had to gain weight cause I was so skinny it was unnerving. 190 is a comfortable weight and its almost obese? Depends on body size, not weight.

  • Why does no one talk about planting a garden, even in the city. Even a couple of well tended tomato plants can easily produce a nice little crop of tomatoes, or beans in a garden pot, or fresh herbs. It’s so easy and healthy. if you succeed in producing anything you have a real sense of accomplishment and you improve your diet, and it frees you from dependence on retail food markets. Does anyone realize how easy it is to make a pickle or homemade salsa. Get off your butts and grow things.

  • It’s the most heartbreaking to are obese children. The American government is a joke, allowing pop and candy vending machines in public schools? Is that money really worth the well being of children?

  • Food industry don’t care neither government, the government are actually wanting people to die off with obesity because they say they say they are over populated

  • I thought I was big at 130 pounds at 5,10 1/2. I’m in the uk and I have no seen a fat person in months. In my school no kid is fat and there is 2500 of us.

  • Once I read a report which concluded if the whole world would live an American lifestyle… we would need 10 Earths to support it.

  • A whole video where nothing is said. Boost your protein a la Ted Naiman and abstain from snacking as per the advice of Jason Fung. Throw in regular high intensity resistance training and voila.

  • Get on some ADHD meds, lost 5kgs in the first week and my skin cleared up because of all the water one drinks
    ADHD meds= legal cocaine

  • Wow, the Republican states really let themselves go. Given their education, it shouldn’t be that surprising. When you have stupid state and local governments, that is passed down to the people.

  • excuse me?!?

Get: vegetables, fruits, whole grains, cold clean water, hot green tea, brown rice with beans veggies spices, physical activities, gym memberships, herbs spices, nuts seeds, independence, science, usefulness work play fun friendships, honesty reality, planting gardens EVERYWHERE!!

  • Damn i so admire Americans. You guys have such a positive body image of yourselves.
This is the only country on earth where 80% of people love their body and 90% of the population is obese.
I wonder if the whole problem isn’t that.
In Europe or in Asia if you are fat and i mean FAT, you know that you’re not going to be happy, finding a job and a partner is going to be a challenge and doctors are not worried about being sued here and will tell you that you’re too fat straight to your face. But in the US apparently being overweight is the norm so nobody dares saying to people that they are fat. The sad part is that those people here on the video are probably not even considered being overweight in the US.

  • Seeing this Aug 2020. I have friends who are overweight and suffering from health problems. I am seventy eight and weigh what I did when I married fifty eight years and seven children ago. I eat nuts, grains, seeds, fruits and vegetables. I avoid ALL processed foods, animal products or their by products. I wasted a lot of time trying to rescue my friends when they asked for help but I don’t bother anymore as I learned they don’t want good health near as much as they want continue w their unhealthy lifestyles.

  • No ownership with people. Eat healthy food and exercise dummies. It’s only going to get worse, constantly pointing a finger at someone else or something else

  • wow its like 3 eateries ever y 8 minutes and wonder how a place has more glutties than other glutties so intellectual who designs some areas?

  • Asking the president of the corn refiners association is like asking Adolf Hitler why Thier regime is wrong, they are obviously going to defend it to death ignore that trash

  • If you go by the BMI index body builders are obese. If I took a BMI test it would say I’m obese. I’m 6’1 and weigh 200lbs but I’m fit. Muscle weighs more than fat and takes up less space in the body compared to fat.

  • fat isnt the enemy. the enemy is sugar. you will die if you dont eat fat, you will die if you dont eat protein. if you stop eating carbs youre fine.

  • The reason the Chinese have a lower death rate from COVID-19 is because their
percentage of morbidly obese people is much smaller than ours

I’m glad I was young at a time (70’s & 80’s) when racquetball was VERY popular or I would weigh 300 pounds now.
I feel sorry for these young kids who do nothing but stare at their phone apps.
This is NOTT going to end well.

  • The media is constantly bombarding us with statistics about how COVID-19
virus is affecting minorities and the poor disproportionately. They also have clear statistics
about the death rate among the morbidly obese, but they are keeping that a tightly guarded
    secret for no apparent reason.

  • bleh bleh bleh. You people made this world where a fruit cup cost 7.99$ and a cheese burger cost 1$ fries are 1$ and a soda is 1$.

  • I thought I was big at 130 pounds at 5,10 1/2. I’m in the uk and I have no seen a fat person in months. In my school no kid is fat and there is 2500 of us.

  • We are filipinos, and we live in asia (i.e Philippines) we onky eat fastfood if we go to cities or have no cooked food in the house, we don’t go to restaurants daily because we know that its really unhealthy and costs too much money

  • What a steaming load of BULLSHIT! Give me more sugar, fat and salt! The government can easily end the obesity problem by compelling all food manufacturers to make their products taste so nasty that people will be reluctant to eat them. It will work! This is a personal responsibility issue. Fat people are fat because they choose to be so.

  • and now in 2020 we see the effects of Obesity on those that catch Corona COVID-19. We knew Obesity would be a huge society-wide problem, and now it most certainly is.

  • Linda has no problem with her size

Diane thinks there’s nothing wrong with her size when she looks at the mirror
    Well done America

  • I just turned 14, I’m 152 lbs, and 5’9. I’m what you call skinny fat. I look skinny with clothes on, but I have a bit of a gut and man boobs. What should I do to lose it? Build muscle, or diet?

  • I think the biggest problem is it’s to dangerous for anyone to go outside without being attacked, I’d love to go for a jog in my local area but I cannot because of gangs or let my kids play outside for the same reason, so it’s not like people don’t want to exercise, it’s just we can’t, if the police would just put all criminals and gang members in jail then the rest of us could enjoy life as it was meant to be, and we could exercise without fear.

  • Fat Combust Factors (google it) kept appearing here on many videos thus I thought they are scam. Right after my brother used it, and lose alot of unwanted fats, Im convinced. Go ahead, look for Fat Combust Factors on google(:

  • Mid section obesity is a common result of a CBD deficiency in the diet, consuming raw cannabis was arguably an evolutionary necessity, as poo smells bad for evolutionary survival reasons, weed smells good for the same type of reasons.

  • As Some 425 pound Soccer Mom on her electric Scooter is Cruising down the Frozen food Aisle at Wal-Mart Buying $600 worth of Jenny Craig, Weight watchers and Lean Cuisine frozen Dinners and 7 Gallons of Ben&Jerry’s Ice cream and yelling ITS ALL PRESIDENT TRUMPS FAULT??

  • I think Michael Pollin is right… We are not ment to eat this way… We are rewarded by our brains when we eat fatty or sugary foods, because we needed those to survive 100.000 years ago. Fast forward to today, our brains still reward us with dopamine when we eat fatty and sugary foods, because the brain wants us to believe we need it to survive, but we in fact eat way more than the body can process, and we end up storing it in bad places like our veins, heart and under our skin. Or maybe i got it wrong:)

  • America in general eats too much and too often. Texas uses transfats, I came from Portland Oregon and gained 20lbs in a year eating the same as normal. When I moved to Portland I lost 20 lbs. It’s the way they prepare foods here and too much carbs, average American eats 150 to 300 carbs, all that turns to sugar. Also I think cause obese people can get disability they have no incentive to lose weight. Big pharma makes alot of money off you being fat. Just treating diabetes makes them rich not to mention drugs for everything else.

  • In Europe we have different food.Or different style of eating. And I guess that’s why we are thinner. But if we compare Europe with Asians we are fat. Because Japanese, Koreans etc are more thinner then anyone. M in Asia is XS for Europe.

  • Wait I think I’m in the 99th percentile for my age but I’m only like 10 pounds overweight for my hight. But overall I’m really healthy.

  • I live in meidel east and iam really happy that all the popular food and respes are very healthy. I always wander what do you eat instead of what we eat and now I figure it out

  • Mid section obesity is a common result of a CBD deficiency in the diet,
consuming raw cannabis was arguably an evolutionary necessity, as poo
smells bad for evolutionary survival reasons, weed smells good for the
    same type of reasons.

  • The food industry manipulates your brain by using the exact amount of salt sugar and fat needed to make you an addict to their food. It should be illegal.

  • Americans are great at wasting money: They eat a lot of fast food, go out to eat almost everyday, drive their gas-guzzling cars short distances, and then when they are morbidly obese, go to a weight loss camp teaching them how to lose weight when they could have done so by cooking at home and going to the gym. No wonder so many are in serious debt!

  • No Crime in being FAT…Eat Up…FAT FOLKs! (Always lookn for an excuse) I grew up around many types an generations OBESE folks!.
They Just eat to Dayyyum much!

  • Obesity is actually a global problem not just American problem and there’s many studies showing 90% is genetic but they don’t understand why

  • My theory why America is obese is because everyone is lazy and has no motivation or drive to eat better and work out and because of the chemicals in processed foods and all the advertising of shitty food

  • The guy compares the restaurant meal with what it would cost to make it but you ain’t supposed to eat all that in a sitting!! you shouldn’t cook that much… wouldnt be that expensive…

  • Once I read a report which concluded if the whole world would live an American lifestyle… we would need 10 Earths to support it.

  • I think a contributing factor to this issue is the unwillingness to cook meals for dinner. Even if you’re tired, there are plenty of ways to make a healthy meal at home!
If you really must get takeout for dinner, buy something healthier

  • Used to hear if you’re rich and fat then you’re fat because you eat too much.
If you’re poor and fat then you’re fat because you’re poor. Finally some people who admit they are fat because they are gluttons who can’t get enough pie in their face hole.

  • Coming from KY which is full of fat southern people, god damn is this state full of fatties. I just moved to CC and it’s mind blowing how many fat asses there are down here

  • After 20 years of age and bmi 16 count one more bmi per year if you are going to eat until you feel full. Equals bmi 36 at age 40. At some point in life you are going to think, no food before You have been drinking 5 glasses of water. If you do that chances are You live until age 80 and your bmi goes down with one bmi/ year until you are 60 simply because if you stuff yourself with plain water you eat and drink less sugar and Carbs. If you repetitivly lift an arm or leg, simply because you can, you might start to look good too.

  • One rule of thumb while grocery shopping: Only stay in the periphery, the outside edges and asiles, produce, veggies, real meat protiens no fuckin junk food, chips and BS

  • As an asian, I find that what’s being served at American school, at least in this video, quite disturbing. It’s like watching a train wreck bound to happen.

  • Humans are not designed to eat meat. People are addicted the the adrenaline the animal secretes when it get tourchered. Hence a society of easily controlled morons. To lose that disgusting belly of yours you need to fast and let your body eat the fat. The hunger pains go in 3 days and after this you will not feel hungry. You can just sit back and watch your body become beautiful again.

  • I’ve been obeys in my entire life and that is why I became diabetic as well. I’m so sick of it. I want to enjoy my life to the fullest. I keep on searching for a possible solution that could help me lose weight and I got an information from one site that talks about a formula that could help loosing weight without undergoing gastric bypass surgery. The link is – howtofightobesityrocalabsreview.blogspot.com. Have you guys heard anything about it? Is it true? or another scam in progress?

  • Wow, I sure hope your body never betrays you like mine did. I sure didn’t get fat by eating junk food and failing to exercise. 1,800 calories a day, all low carb, high-protein fruit and veg. I also jog for an hour each day.

How lucky you are that your body responds to healthy eating and diet. I’d give anything, anything, anything, anything to be in your shoes.

  • They never feel satisfied because they’re nutritionally deficient and overweight at the same time. All of them are malnourished from eating trash and carbs.

  • A good solution for being able to get good foods is right in it: the seeds. you can always plant a garden and after some time of watering, maybe months you can grow your own fruits and vegetables

  • She thinks she looks ok, but can hardly breathe, less walk. They glory in their shame. Dianna is wearing my queen size blanket, stop promoting your misery to others.

  • why is the camera always focusing on their buttocks? Annoying! Biggest lies: ‘I save money eating out.” ‘My metabolism is lower than his/hers’ ‘You don’t look heavy is you are dressed well’

  • Diane is so comfortable being obese and proud of it too, even if she can not wipe her own butt and be dependent on the taxpayers on her care expenses. men from the dating site probably were hesitant to date her because they might end up being her caregivers.

  • The woman who drives her kid to the bus stop, is a disgrace she is setting her son up to be like her, and she laughs? Disgraceful.

  • No single solution? False. There is no simple solution? FALSE. How can so much horrible information be coming from the CDC? Why do they keep promoting the same tired old advice that is NOT helping fix the problem and never has?

Want proof? Search for an article called “Obesity: My Unexpected Final Conclusion”. It turns out there is a single, simple, logical solution and it is NOT even mentioned in this video. WHY??????

  • Blood sugar, when it spikes, crashes hunger strikes, get it in check, learn the difference between
crash and actual eating for fuel. Berberine the herb, capsule form works. Cravings go away with balanced blood sugar

  • Om( dear god or some protector of the universe) just look at that fat slime ball’s!!! Only them are all to blame for their roundness. FFPGs that”s what they are…

  • Eat like in France, breakfast, lunch and diner
No food between these 3 meals
A lot of water, one or two glasses of wine and 8 hours sleeping

  • Eat tons of meat, eggs, hard cheese like emmenthaler, fish, vegetables, nuts, some types of fruit like banana. Avoid starch in pasta, rice, potatoes and white bread. Basically make your own food, never buy tv dinners.

  • The obesity epidemic started around the mid 90s…if you look at Americans from the 50s, 60s, 70s, you’d rarely notice an obese person. I’m guessing the reason is the readily available processed foods with all the sugar and fat, the ridiculous portions we think were supposed to eat, and the fact that fast food is considered “cheap and easy,” when in reality buying and cooking your own food is infinitely cheaper. It starts at the home with your young kids…gotta build healthy eating habits with them. I grew up in a Cuban household…while we would eat home cooked food generally everyday, my parents and grandparents weren’t really educated in portion control. I’d eat like 5 or 6 servings of white rice, a huge piece of meat, 5 or 6 servings of a type of bean, and a salad on the side. This could be a pretty healthy meal if I just cut the servings of rice and beans and meat and upped the veggies. I’ve learned now in my older age and have helped my parents and grandparent learn about it. I was 250 pounds at 6’0 feet about 5 years ago…I’m currently at 200 and have maintained my weight between 190 and 205 for the last couple of years. Just gotta control your serving sizes and eat more whole plant based foods.

  • This is all the food industries fault! They made and sell those unhealthy fast foods just to make money by fattening others rather than helping them with their everyday lives!

  • Slogan of the Americans must be: we love to eat every junk food aka fast food that’s literally at every block every single day and don’t even do exercise.

  • Obesity is extremely easy to avoid. All you have to do is step on a scale every morning. If you gain just a little weight, it is easy to lose just a little weight also. I do not understand why people wait until they are extremely overweight to do something about it. Do they not see that they are gaining until they have gained the equivalent of five, or more, bowling balls? Also, if you push your body a little everyday, you will stay much healthier. There is no need for gyms if you do preventative measures everyday. It is easy to lose a small amount of weight. Why do people wait until they are corpulent to do something about the amassing garbage on their body?

  • In south carolina, its not surprising at high obesity rate since we mostly have extremely stressful, extremely low paying jobs in fast fat food and old people buttwiping. I eat getting stressed out thinking about the unfortunate souls having to slog grease and human feces for a living and getting the crap beat out of them by alzheimers granny
