What Happens When You Overeat?

Since overeating is a concept that most of us understand and experienced first-hand, I wanted to break down what actually happens in your body when you do overeat. After all, your body is well-equipped to let you know you’re getting fuller — you just need to listen! In our latest study, we wanted to understand how much humans can eat when they push past the point of fullness. We also wanted to know what effect this has on the body, by measuring how overeating affects metabolism in the hours after the meal.

We looked at a group of 14 healthy men between 22 and 37 years old. Mar 3, 2017 Since overeating is a concept that most of us understand and experienced first-hand, I wanted to break down what actually happens in your body More information Learn want happens as you digest a big meal and get a few tips to help you know when your body is trying to tell you. Overeating can lead to unwanted weight gain, and carrying excess weight can increase your cancer risk. But it’s not just about the unwanted calories.

Overeating affects your body in a variety of ways. We spoke to Levy to learn more about the effects of overeating. Here’s what she had to say. So, what happens to your body when you overeat?Burping is a common side effect of overeating.

Burping is your body’s attempt at releasing gas. 3. You may get heartburn. Your stomach produces acid to help break down your food. The more you eat, the higher the amount of acid enlisted to aid the breakdown.

In fact, you may find you begin looking forward to your exercise sessions because you now finally have the energy to perform them. You may start to notice your pants are feeling looser than before. Your body will be shedding all the excess water you were retaining thanks to a high sodium intake, along with too many processed foods earlier. You need to eat 3,500 calories to gain one pound of body fat.

One unplanned treat a slice of cake, some fries, or even a rich meal probably won’t make a major difference on the scale. The good news is that you can take some steps to stop overeating before it becomes a larger issue. 1. Identify your triggers. You may first want to keep a food diary so you can jot down how you. Your body composition is the balance of fat and fat-free mass (like muscle and bone)you need to keep these two variables balanced in order to reduce your risk of various health conditions.

This is why important to understand how cyclic overeating can affect your body compositionit can negatively impact both weight and health goals. “Anytime you ingest more than your body needs at any one time, the excess calories consumed (whether they be fat, carbs, or protein) are converted to, and stored as, fat,” says Kalamar. “Frequent overconsumption will lead to weight gain.” Why do people overeat?

List of related literature:

Instead of “counting calories,” we emphasize the importance of identifying small changes in food choices that can be made, adding up to decreases of about 500 kcal/day (or 3500 kcal/week, the average amount needed to lose one pound), while maintaining or even heightening the pleasure gained from food.

  • how to keep yourself entertained, do what youre supposed to be doing in the first place DO NOT i repeat DO NOT start watching tv or youtube watching is the no.1 trigger for overeating

  • Thank u so much this helped i was overeating n didnt know i was painly sick of it my stomach so big n pain stretching in stomach great info god bless u

  • Soup is not as nutritious as other food preparations that make you eat slow. Salads and foods that involve cutting (such as a piece of meat) make you chew more and are way more nutritious. Soup will make you feel full without ingesting enough nutrients in your diet (if you eat three meals a day).

  • Its so relieving that it they mentioned that “mild” can still be a problem. Im not really overweight but my binge episodes have stopped me from hitting my fitness goals. Im so happy that im not alone and I have a name for it.

  • There’s youtubers taking challenges like eating 5 cheese burgers or 1000 chicken nuggets and they look ok most of the time after eating all that, but today I decided to have an extra bowl of spaghetti, I told myself no but I decided to eat because spaghetti is my favorite food, it was painful and I went to the bathroom afterwards

  • I always end up finishing everything I see because I’ve been raised to believe that not finishing food was bad, and know I find it hard to control and stop even when i know i am overly full.:(

  • Took me nearly 2 months to lose 5-6 lbs.
When I ve a crisis in life I comfort eat, overeat like mad and put all the weight back on in 2 weeks!

  • I watched this after drinking two huge protein shakes, 4 slices of pizza and two bowls of noodle soup. I felt like my stomach was going to explode. Worst feeling ever!

  • Kinda sucks that no one caught on to the question about being a wrestler. Wrestlers are expected to take extreme measures to quickly drop weight. It can definitely develop an unhealthy obsession with food!

  • I seriously don’t know what to do. I eat a lot and then after I regret everything I ate. And I go to the bathroom and force myself to throw it up but then i forget about it and eat more and the cycle continues.

  • Used to look up to Chris Powell… I’m extremely disappointed to see him talking about hacks to try to fix an eating binge after it happens with magic teas and special shakes. It’s a sad day.

  • Well, i just microwaved a piece of cheese with 2 slices of salami, a kinder country and 3 Mini monte puddings (the little ones, you know)

    And i wasnt even hungry:/

  • That’s very like me right their I do eat lot seeking about eating I just ate a 1pound frozen dinner and then I ate 20 nuggets and then I ate 3 corn dogs.

  • I get what you are trying to say but I’ll be a first year teacher and that isn’t realistic for me. We only get 30 mins for lunch. That time is for taking the kids to lunch, making sure they get trays, sit in the right spot, walk back to our room and eat. And if you have to make copies or print things for that leaves maybe 10 mins. I was able to eat my lunch in 10 mins when student teaching because I had so much to do.

  • I once eat 1 1/2 pound nutella cream and a whole 3 pound oven baked perch. And more stuff i do not remember.I did not benged for half year after a lot work and it helps with 16/8 aproach.I still have fantasies dough and when i am home alone,i have mini binges from time to time. But nothing that bad and i am working with it.

  • I just don’t get it, I am obsessed with trying to loose weight and my whole life has become “how to loose weight”!! And I can’t stop cause I feel FAT all the time. And I still binge eat despite wanting to loose weight. Im an impulsive eater and I don’t know how to stop.

  • Another strategy if you don’t eat all day all you have to do is eat one meal just to satisfy the hunger don’t go to a buffet nor eat a second plate.

  • Binge eater here, have every single indicator they suggested but luckily none of the comorbidity problems and I lead a very active lifestyle, much like the guest. I’m about 15 lbs overweight, which I’m constantly dieting to lose. I can restrict calories for days and then binge all weekend long, usually triggered by getting discouraged by not seeing the scale numbers budge. I want to stop binging, but hearing that treatment doesn’t help you lose weight is a bummer. I’d rather continue binging with a possibility of weight loss than get treatment and stay overweight

  • This video was so helpful. THANK YOU. I’ve started a weightloss journey myself, search Albert Towns ENOUGH is ENOUGH weight loss journey

  • SHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUWUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSHHHH

  • I eat everything i want because i keep thinking “what if i die tomorrow and my life will be wasted” so i’ll eat like every day is last day lol

  • I don’t eat fast food, I prepare my portions, I make everything from whole foods im on a intermittent fasting diet with low carbs where I eat 2 times sitting on the table. None of the points actually matter for me. I eat quite fast since all my life and don’t have any of the supposed negative effects

  • This was good… I guess… but can you specify a lot of that? I’ve looked at like 10 vids and can’t get any good information. Please do better.

  • To diagnose Binge eating disorder (BED) based on DSM-5 diagnostic criteria check our Medical Calculator https://www.pediatriconcall.com/calculators/dsm-5-binge-eating-disorder

  • I just don’t get it, I am obsessed with trying to loose weight and my whole life has become “how to loose weight”!! And I can’t stop cause I feel FAT all the time. And I still binge eat despite wanting to loose weight. Im an impulsive eater and I don’t know how to stop.

  • I am sick and tired of myself of binge eating all the time. I once had overcome it by myself for a period of 1.5 months, but now I fall again.. I regained 3 kilos and I dont want to gain even more. I can’t stop myself, I know it’s bad what I am doing but I can’t stop! I am so disappointed…

  • Everybody in the comments, I seriously recommend you to read Brain Over Binge by Kathryn Hansen. It helped me a lot so I truly wish it can help you as well♥️

  • Thanks to the Army, I have a habit of eating fast. I can eat a box of pizza in 10 minutes.. But I am in shape and healthy. If you have a planned routine on how you eat, it doesnt matter if you eat it in 1 minute or 20. The problem is people overeat. If you know how you eat, eat as fast as you want. Worked for me.

  • And then you have New Mexico where the obesity index is at 98 percent…. the people here are pigs…. disgusting in my eyes. I’m not one to pick on a certain group, but what I see is just unhealthy. Too much fast food, fats, salts and sugars. Even their children look like the parents. Gross….

  • What’s up with the annoying as f background music? No hate, just feedback. OK… a little bit hate because the music gave me a headache.

  • Do not call it cardiac sphincter. Please. Cardiac arrest is, when the heart stops beating why introduce a word meant for describing the heart to the stomach? Just call it sphincter. Or stomach sphincter. But cardiac means heart. Sounds very, very silly even if correct.

  • This video was so helpful. THANK YOU. I’ve started a weightloss journey myself, search Albert Towns ENOUGH is ENOUGH weight loss journey

  • I love eating food fast just like how Goku and the others eat. Ate like 3 plates with food. Im not fat I just love eating and then workout a ton.

  • **You worst fellows on the earth** Order Id #15878909379008640A

  • I’ve recently stumbled upon tons of people speaking about “colloidal silver” and how it’s “the ultimate antibiotic”. I think it’s a bunch of bogus, but im still intrigued by what these people seem to believe. I think colloidal silver would be a great video topic for your pseudo science series!

  • I ate 3/4 a giant box of Mac n cheese

    In 10 minutes

I also ate 10 of the ice plastic line popsicle Things in one night, 2 Mac n cheese bowls, after that 3 ramen noodle soups, and 5 of things of Pringle’s

    Still skinny

    Is something wrong with me?

    Help

  • I always end up finishing everything I see because I’ve been raised to believe that not finishing food was bad, and know I find it hard to control and stop even when i know i am overly full.:(

  • Thank you, for lunch I ate more than expected and I didn’t even realize! Now I’m skipping dinner:) This doesn’t count as overeating but I ate more than usual so yea haha.

  • I have BED, I will plan my binge it very secretive, because of the shame and guilt. If try to resist the binge, it’s the only thing on my mind. I had cognitive behaviour therapy but only got it for 6 month when it finish my mother died from cancer a few weeks later. I managed not to binge for 5 month. But the sadness was crushing me and the binge eating started again but not as bad. Before the therapy I was binge eating everyday I was disgusted with myself and life. After the help it’s only once a week sometime twice a week. My mind tells me I need the release, to deal with the stress of life.

  • That’s very like me right their I do eat lot seeking about eating I just ate a 1pound frozen dinner and then I ate 20 nuggets and then I ate 3 corn dogs.

  • If I weren’t myself I’d beat the shit outta me. So disappointed in Myself but I’ll never give up. Don’t care if I fail 2 million more times I’ll never give up.

  • Do not call it cardiac sphincter. Please. Cardiac arrest is, when the heart stops beating why introduce a word meant for describing the heart to the stomach? Just call it sphincter. Or stomach sphincter. But cardiac means heart. Sounds very, very silly even if correct.

  • Whenevere I binge there is always a part of me that is aware of what is happening, but it’s like I’m watching myself from an outside perspective, so I don’t care if I’m eating or what I’m eating, or how fast. It’s very strange, it’s like during the binge I think “I know this is bad but it’s something my future self will have to deal with‍♀️”

  • I’m trying to lose weight but I can’t move from 80 kg. I binge and then I just feel guilt afterwards. I wanna purge right now but just stopping myself. This quarantine is killing me.

  • I was waiting for my food to cool when i went back upstairs to my friend. She told me to eat upstairs so I did that.

My sister was a little mad because she told me I should play less a few hours earlier.

  • i came to eat too much junk food and no not like other people but i mean it Really more than i could handle i really thought i was dying but after 5 15 minutes of pain i finally got rid of it

  • it kinda frustrates me how people think you ether have to be overweight or skinny to have a eating disorder, i’ve been on every spectrum you can think of when it comes to eating disorders, orthorexia, anorexia, binge and purging, bulimia, bulimia nervosa, i’ve been 80 pounds 200 pounds in a span of a year, but what sucks is right now i’m in my lowest of lows but i’m a healthy weight, and the only time i have gotten help during my journey is when i showed on the outside i had a eating disorder

  • It’s incredible I paid crazy amounts of money to get prepped meals delivered to my doorstep every morning. I had a specific intake of calories. I lost 6kg in 2 months never felt hungry in the process, though I had moments where I dreamt of binge eating in front of tv and felt so confident in my body. I stopped the meal prep and said to myself that I’ll be able to cook the same and cut 90% of the cost. And trust me the minute I stopped I gained 2kg next thing I know I’m back binge eating except now I throw up after doing so because of the guilt and it’s been 3 months nowً. Every night I say to myself that tomorrow I’ll eat well even if it has to be delivered food…and then I think to myself oh you had a long day how about a comforting meal you deserve it you’ll be so cozy. And then I regret so hard. Worst part is I binge and I’m not even hungry in first place it’s purely mental

  • i just want to be normal. i just want to eat normal. thank you for posting this so i can try to understand myself better. it’s just hard.

  • It’s exhausting. Feel crap, everyday has been chance to start again but by 3pm I’ve picked on crap that triggers me to go mental. I could eat every hour of the day.

  • Me, depressed: I’m going to chill a bit with some infographics show videos

Infographics show: Nature still has its ways of letting you know that it hates you, deeply.

    Me: ok…

  • Thank you for making such a great/educational/helpful video! It was very helpful for me because I was always curious of the reasons why we overeat. Thank you again!

  • i love how they are having someone who is a trainer talk about food and diet processes. he’s supposed to be an expert on fitness not food.

  • I’ve always seen myself as fat, even though my doctor told me I’m at a healthy weight. I would binge and then over-exercise or starve myself for days because I felt sooo guilty. Or I would have horrible thoughts about starving myself to death. I don’t know what to do anymore… I wish I could love my body and develop a good relationship with food.

  • This was good… I guess… but can you specify a lot of that? I’ve looked at like 10 vids and can’t get any good information. Please do better.

  • I gained ‘listen to your body’ to see if you are full enough to stop. It would be good to get hungry first. To eat when you are hungry, stop when you are satisfied and lose excess weight permanently? Try weighdown.com.

  • Most definitely needs to be more awareness and openness towards BED, there is so much about this disorder that genuinely harms someone who has it and it’s not talked about as much, I’m glad there is more insight in this video on it so other people can understand and learn more about this, it a struggle, coping with food for emotional distress is no fun more support and awareness is needed

  • I’ve been dealing with binge eating disorder for more than 13 years now. I really don’t know what to do. I feel guilty all the time.

  • I hate the fact most people only think of eating disorders as getting skinny when it’s so much more I’ve come here today because my disorder as seriously out me into a huge state of genuine sadness and whenever I feel sad I binge eat nobody can really me because it’s more the emotional side than the whole body perspective side

  • Not obese is the trigger for me. I am obese. if you’re not obese and you’ve been binge eating your whole life AND you’re physically healthy..then it appears you’re creating an issue where there is none. who the hell wouldn’t be happy being able to eat in pig out all week long and not gain any weight? don’t tell me about the psychological aspect of being able to eat all day and not gain a pound, there is no psychological aspect to that, other than elation and positivity. Being obese is the the main issue.. and not being able to control the main issue is the disorder. I won’t even listen to this BS lecture for another second after I heard them reiterating over and over, that being a normal weight is normal for this disorder

  • Undiagnosed BED Canadian patient here. None of my doctors take it seriously… totally lost. Many parts of this conference brought tears to my eyes because I can fully relate. It actually feels like you guys are trying to finally make sense of it and understand it, which is wonderful. Thank you.

  • Society made me eat faster because of all the fixed schedules. Recess is just half an hour and having to que up in a long line just to get my food, gosh. I was a skinny kid because I could take all the time in the world to eat. Adulting is hard and the “move to North Korea” joke at the end was so smooth.

  • Here’s a neat trick:  if you find it hard to recognize when you’re full, START your meal with a cup of water and all of your vegetables.  Then eat a fruit.  Only then eat the rest of your food.  Not saying this will always work perfectly, but it helps.  It really does, especially if some of those veg are raw.  The fiber in them helps signal to your brain that you’re full.

  • Thanks. I noticed the water was adding after day 2. It was exactly three. That will save a lot of freak outs. I am doing this quite often atm as I am low and I reach for unhealthy food.Thank you for explaining how to get rid of the process.

  • I went to Golden Corral. I ate seven buffalo wings, one fried chicken breast, two slices of pizza, one 8 oz (or 10oz) steak, three servings of fries, and three chocolate dipped strawberries.

  • Totally agree with all the recent comments. Everyone binges at some time. Stress, depression, upsets, can’t find any other food, food deserts (no healthy food options in a town/suburb). People who are stressed or having mental health issues or eating disorders are not going to be helped by this hyped up misinformation. Click on Dr Oz’s videos on the Whole 30. Maybe we will get better advice there.

  • This is absurd-designed for a 19 year-old. These days we know a daily fasting of 12 hours stops hormones from telling the brain it’s hungry when the body is not.

  • Nice video.find it useful..will add gud points from it in my routine..
Earlier i use to drink half a litre of water next day of overeating..by boiling cumin fennel and corriander seeds powder each half spoon in it..its also effective

  • Hello people..I’m so disappointed with myself…Recently I realised that I suffer from the B.E.D…I really wanna lose weight but all I’m thinking about is food and what should I eat and when should I eat it and what should I avoid etc…My mind has drove me crazy…I can’t handle it…I have lost myself…I feel like I can’t control me anymore..I have already gained some weight..These days are the worst…I’m so unmotivated..I sick and tired of the way I treat myself and the way I look in the mirror…

  • I want to start a Eating clean/Working out/Quit BED and make daily calls to keep us on track. ¿Who is in? Just share your FB/Discord to make a group and we can talk about schedules and calls.

  • Everybody in the comments, I seriously recommend you to read Brain Over Binge by Kathryn Hansen. It helped me a lot so I truly wish it can help you as well♥️

  • Its so relieving that it they mentioned that “mild” can still be a problem. Im not really overweight but my binge episodes have stopped me from hitting my fitness goals. Im so happy that im not alone and I have a name for it.

  • I just keep eating like I can’t stop until I’m sick and then I regret it and feel awful like I’m dying….I hate my eating problem and I want it to end

  • i came to eat too much junk food and no not like other people but i mean it Really more than i could handle i really thought i was dying but after 5 15 minutes of pain i finally got rid of it

  • If anyone is reading this, I just want you to know that I have started a support group/ buddy system. If you look under the comments of “Emily Isaac” you can see that I already have two new friends. The amount of support that we are sharing with each other has made a HUGE difference in our progress. If you are interested in being held accountable and having a buddy to tell you to STOP! YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH! YOU ARE WORTH IT! YOU ALREADY HAD THE NUTRIENTS YOU. NEED! and whatever makes you stop…. let me know through instagram DM. My profile is Ruthie_c_t

This is not for me to get new followers, you don’t even have to friend me. I already have 3 wonderful people that we are all helping each other. We will grow in number and we will support each other. We are human, we are going through some pretty horrible times. My heart goes out to you. Message me and let’s get through this.

Lastly, this does not replace professional Help! I will always try to convince you to seek a professional therapist and doctor. I have a life coach who is helping me through this and is unlocking the code to why I do this. My life has changed. But the addition of people, and the support is unreal and I can’t even tell you what a huge change it has had on me. I looked at a chocolate cake in my house the other night and wanted it… I walked away because I reached out to my support. It was incredible painful and hard to walk away… but I did.. Thank you to all good luck! Let’s build this community of support! Thank you ImedexCME for uploading this video!

  • Who wants to start a group chat where we try to stop binge eating through quarantine and talk to eachother about it:) I’m trying so hard to stop eating so much and loose weight but whenever I start eating I just can’t stop:,( UPDATE: we have a group chat add your instagram names to be added! ❤️

  • I went to Golden Corral. I ate seven buffalo wings, one fried chicken breast, two slices of pizza, one 8 oz (or 10oz) steak, three servings of fries, and three chocolate dipped strawberries.

  • If I weren’t myself I’d beat the shit outta me. So disappointed in Myself but I’ll never give up. Don’t care if I fail 2 million more times I’ll never give up.

  • Thank you for making such a great/educational/helpful video! It was very helpful for me because I was always curious of the reasons why we overeat. Thank you again!

  • I might have BED, im not sure but i cant just see anyone since it costs too much:/ and weekly binges…idk..im barely realizing this

  • This is absurd-designed for a 19 year-old. These days we know a daily fasting of 12 hours stops hormones from telling the brain it’s hungry when the body is not.

  • I just keep eating like I can’t stop until I’m sick and then I regret it and feel awful like I’m dying….I hate my eating problem and I want it to end

  • I seriously don’t know what to do. I eat a lot and then after I regret everything I ate. And I go to the bathroom and force myself to throw it up but then i forget about it and eat more and the cycle continues.

  • Pleasantly surprised at the amount of camaraderie and support being offered in this comment section. I have BED myself, and it gives me some hope

  • how to keep yourself entertained, do what youre supposed to be doing in the first place DO NOT i repeat DO NOT start watching tv or youtube watching is the no.1 trigger for overeating

  • I’ve been dealing with binge eating disorder for more than 13 years now. I really don’t know what to do. I feel guilty all the time.

  • It’s exhausting. Feel crap, everyday has been chance to start again but by 3pm I’ve picked on crap that triggers me to go mental. I could eat every hour of the day.

  • Kinda sucks that no one caught on to the question about being a wrestler. Wrestlers are expected to take extreme measures to quickly drop weight. It can definitely develop an unhealthy obsession with food!

Thank you.

  • Since the quarantine starting in the UK. I have been ordering sweets and chocolate with amazon prime the contraband is delivered the next day. I came to a realization after order more sweets. I need to set my mind free from the abuse I personal inflict on myself everyday. I’m constantly belittling myself, disgusting of my body, face, hair. Always feeling worthless. Being in quarantine has amplified it. I know it will take a long time. But I have started on the path to building a healthier relationship with food and myself. Self love not self hate

  • Just pack and save all those meals for around 4pm-8pm and scarf it down. your binge eating will go away. drink lemon water for the whole day also.

  • Stop trying to sell these fake bs hacks. They don’t work. Should be focused on fixing the real problem. Try developing a healthy lifestyle, not finding the quickest way to make you hate the health industry more because a hack end up making you gain more weight in the end

  • Binge eating is a disorder that I just happen to suffer from. This advice is dangerous and misinformed. There is no magic pill or remedy that will fix or “reverse” binge eating.

  • In this flush after the binge day…nothing but fluids…. Flushing the sodium means flushing potassium as well since sodium potassium go hand in hand. The greens are great bc they have potassium in them. Just make sure you use them. Dropping the high sodium and sugars help but if you don’t restore you will feel bad for a couple days or even have negative side effects

  • Overeating and binging are two totally different things. They both are fake news especially with promoting a laxative. You’re basically telling someone to purge, this is dangerous especially for someone who has BED.

  • Dr. Oz is a travesty to the medical community, but chris… you used to be respected for what you have done. Medicine and science DOES NOT support this. My how the mighty have fallen.

  • I might have BED, im not sure but i cant just see anyone since it costs too much:/ and weekly binges…idk..im barely realizing this

  • i might be weird, if i eat slowly it feels like i havent eaten anything i dont feel full and i end up eating more, but eating fast makes me full and satisfied

  • i just want to be normal. i just want to eat normal. thank you for posting this so i can try to understand myself better. it’s just hard.

  • OH my GOD this happens all the time to me and I am thinking what’s going on?! I thought this was JUST me!!! I binged as I have the flu, so I made sure I fasted after and I just completed day two of Intermittent fasting and want to ask?!!!! if I have a 55 calorie hot chocolate drink, do I restart the fast again or is low calorie drinks not included??? Ps I’m going to watch this video again as this video is SO ME!!!!!! Jodielee from Jodielee&Marzi
