Protein Source: Dairy and Eggs. Greek yogurt (such as Fage): 17 grams per cup. Cottage cheese: 15 grams per ½ cup. Parmesan cheese, grated: 10.8 grams per ounce. Cheddar cheese: 7 grams per slice.

Eggs: 7 grams per egg. Cow’s milk is the most common food allergen in America, affecting up to 50 million people. In most cases, this allergy is specifically triggered by lactose, which is the sugar found in dairy products. If you’re one of these many people, good alternatives for most dairy products (for example, whey protein alternatives) aren’t hard to come by.

On average, about 60% of Americans do not. The best sources of protein You generally want to eat complete proteins, which are proteins that contain all eight essential amino acids. Meat, fish, and eggs are all complete protein sources. Here are the Bulletproof-approved option.

Whey Protein Concentrate: About 70–80% protein—contains some lactose and fat but usually has the best flavor. Whey Protein Isolate: 90% protein or higher—contains less lactose and fat. 7 Best Sources. Milk One of the most important and easily available sources of whey protein that an individual can find is milk.

Milk not only contains fast digesting whey proteins but it also contains slow digesting casein. Milk also contains carbohydrates and proteins. According to doctors, the carbohydrate content in milk is the lactose content. Vega Clean Protein is a great choice for those who have any type of reaction to dairy based whey protein powders.

The protein in it comes from a variety of different plants such as pea, hemp and pumpkin. While plant proteins aren’t a complete source of protein like whey, they can get pretty close when combining various types like Vega has done. Isolates are the purest protein source available.

Whey protein isolates contain protein concentrations of 90% or higher. During the processing of whey protein isolate there is a significant removal of fat and lactose. As a result, individuals who are lactose-intolerant can often safely take these products (Geiser, 2003).

Although the. Milk Protein. The final type of whey protein is a little confusing. Sometimes vaguely labeled as “milk protein,” this product is typically just a blend of whey and casein – either of the concentrate or isolate variety.

Generally, you’ll only see this in products that are using multiple protein sources. Hemp protein (made with the less-fun parts of the plant) offers not only a decent amount of protein at 15 grams a serving, but also a healthy dose of fiber at 8 grams to keep you fuller, longer. With no artificial colors or ingredients and just 1 gram of natural sugar per serving, this powder is a clean option. We looked at the top 14 Whey Protein Concentrates and dug through the reviews from 123 of the most popular review sites including Best Reviews Guide, He and She Eat Clean, 1AND1 Life, Spy, Whey and Weigh, FWD Fuel and more.

The result is a ranking of the best Whey Protein.

List of related literature:

These are powdered or liquid foods that contain protein from various sources, with the four most popular sources being whey, casein, egg, and soy, as well as plantbased supplements made from various foods such as quinoa, brown rice, peas, hemp, and even fruit.

  • Thomas you should look up Diverse health services on here. Dr. Tent is amazing he promotes STANDARD PROCESS PLANT BASED VITAMINS EXCELLENT.

  • Thank you Thomas. I just realised I’m only eating 60 grams of protein so I ought have some Pea and hemp powder like Sun Warrior. I’m 46 yo 90 kg 182 cm tall. I’m doing 1 hr 6 days week full body indoors workout. I appreciate you good luck Thomas.

  • BIG THANX…I NEVER KNEW WICH PROTEIN I SHOULD BUY I USED TO BUY VEGA PROTEIN BUT NOW MAY BE I SHOULD GIVE SUN WARRIOR A TRY…. THANX A LOT

  • How much Methionine do I need per day? I’m buying pea protein and l methionine separately and need to know how much methionine to add

  • I was wondering why there was so much dislikes, I understand now. While I respect their opinion, I can tell they never read a book on evolution. Our brains haven’t evolved (or haven’t been created, whatever you prefer) to understand the universe, that’s why we created science. It’s an attempt to understand the universe beyond our limitations with testable and repeatable results. Am I saying science is perfect? Of course not, but it’s the best we have right now.

  • Peace to you Creator. Not knocking his knowledge of what is a good source of protein.Definitely appreciate the knowledge.Just to add to what was already said.Spirulina and chlorella have most of the necessary nutrients needed to build muscle.Seamoss as well as a couple of choice herbs as well.Burdock root, dandelion, bladderwrack, nuts and beans have more protein then meat.Known fact.Just to inform who is not aware. And those are just a couple of sources there are more.I encourage people to do there own research as to what’s works for them.I have been doing calisthenics all my life. And I’m 5’7 152 shredded and have muscle mass as well.Peace to the God’s.Everybody ain’t us and we ain’t everybody.Thank you good money for the information!✊✌And I also don’t eat until after 1.I snack at 1 and eat a meal at five. And that’s all I eat everyday.I fast on the 1st and the fifteenth.Read Hilton Hotema Mans Higher Consciousness and The Mystery of Man.

  • Honestly, i dont know whats right anymore! When i was a kid back in Russian i new a guy who were just eating healthy and working out every day and he was packed with muscle! When I moved to USA I found out that almost everyone is using protein shakes and all other supplements.. Even though you might need this supplement now days, i will still go with old school mentality and just eat healthy..

  • Minute 3:50 you said Leucine is insulin spiking, in the label of the sunwarrior’s pea protein shown in minute 10:27 there is also leucine, actually it has more than a whey protein

Sunwarrios pea protein has 2614 mg leucine
Optimum nutrition whey protein has2470mg leucine
Can you please explain how is pea protein better or why the leucine in that protein does not causes insulin spikes?
    Thanks

  • not that i massively disagree that supplements can be useful for those trying to bulk up massively. I’m fairly sure that athletes in the 1920 olympics managed to get fit, toned and healthy without supplements lol.

  • What about lentein a plant based alternative that’s just as bioavailable as whey protein because being a vegan what will never be a option for me just because no animal protein in my diet.

  • ur so shallow its actually funny. U know nothing about islam so stop acting like u do. Ur just like all these dicks in the gym, they read all bodybuilding articles, know all the science behind everything, think they know it all but got nothing to show for it. How old are you anyway. How many muslims live in western countries and ur calling them dumb and fake muslims. ur the dumb one to fall for the biased shit u read online without putting some real thought into it. Peace.

  • Whey isolate typically has 10% Leucine by weight 2.5g/25g scoop. The pea protein you tout has roughly the same 2.6g leucine/25g scoop. Same amount of Leucine would imply the same insulin spike assuming the absorption is same. What’s your evidence that Leucine from pea protein is absorbed, less bio available, or more slowly released through digestion than that from whey protein? If you are a healthy person an insulin spike is a perfectly normal and useful part of an anabolic process.

  • Saying we need to eat collagen because collagen is lost during muscle damage is like saying we need to eat hair after a hair cut. It’s simply amino acids we need to replace collagen.

  • Besides they both take whey protein AND natural protein so its a clue that they’re just messing with people, I don’t know their exact motivation for doing this video but they certainly got quite a response.

  • Looking all over the internet for a nice and easy information source on this matter and FINALLY found it. Subscribed. I’ma give you that product ambassador Sun Warrior money too.

  • If your trying to get lean protein shakes are useless… pea protein is the 2nd worse for you after caesin… I don’t know where this guy is getting his info but I know he’s getting paid from warrior blend to promote their product… this guy promotes whoever pays him… pea protein is hard to digest and can cause inflammation, diarrhea, it’s complete junk.

  • Hey, have you tried “MuscLeader” (look on Google)? There you can watch a nice free video explaining the way to develop notable muscles fast whilst eliminating excess fat simultaneously. Ryan and plenty other guys had amazing success using this strategy. I hope it works for you also.

  • I was having a pizza with my friend when he said he was on a diet and pizza is his regular cheat meal and part of diet plan he got from *Next Level Diet*. I thought he was crazy, but after a month I noticed his body has changed a lot. He looked better than ever. I should really visit that website

  • You are amazing!! I enjoy protein in several ways. Although I typically stick with chicken and eggs, I lean toward pea proteins. When I first saw this I was like ThANK GOD you approve pea protein!!! Find my channel. I’m a rookie and nothing like you but would love your pro feedback!! Thank you for you!

  • Omega-3s from canned tuna? seriously Jeff?
I think the examples you use in your video are misleading.
You could have given me a more convincing answer like “Supplements are unnecessary but convenient, sometimes you don’t have time to prepare a good healthy meal so you go ahead and grab tha protein shake”

  • Your videos are awesome. So informative and well researched. Visuals are great too. Hope you keep them coming on other supplements:-)

  • I just bought 6kg of casine protien. I have had gut problems prior to first time i ate the protien powders, and i stuck for the sole reason that my digestive system was loving it. In fact i had a loy more energy during the day than before, and i was able to go harder with my training workout( which is not lifting, my goal isnt to be some meathead acting like a robot.)

  • Interesting, this is from 3 years ago, if you watch his recent videos about protein he is not that much into whey protein anymore.

  • And hopefully you’ll see that everything is happening the way it was written in it. I know it sounds absurd since I myself like science but science has it’s limits.

  • If you already have organic pea protein isolate, how many hemp seeds should be eaten with it to give it full AA? Or, if you add hemp protein to the pea protein yourself what ratios?

  • I’m planning to take Whey protein because I can never eat enough protein in my eating window, I work out near the end of my fast and break my fast after with a meal. But I heard that whey protein spike my insulin level a lot so should I consume my Whey protein before or after my meal?

  • I mostly get my protein from whole foods, I normally just have a whey shake after my workouts to get an extra 20-30 grams and then make a meal shortly after. Should I just switch to whey isolate if whey isnt giving me any problems and Im not interested in tracking down good pea protein and collagen powders?

  • Well thanks for this guide realy helped me but some friends of mine advice me to use casine cuase im fasting whole day and when i break fasting i use casine so i dont lose muscles its give me energy till the next day fasting

  • Hey Thomas, just wanted to find out what about Acesulfame Potassium is bad for you?

And I just bought pea protein isolate and followed your video on Cosco protein shake shopping, should I just use the pea protein isolate to break my fast, or have that with meals after workouts?

  • Hey Tom I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for making them. I have a few questions: 1. How much protein (grams) do you recommend a day? 2. Should I take my protein shake before or after a workout?

  • An important question to ask about supplements is not “can you?” but “do you?”. I hear health care professionals say, “you can get all you need from food.” You don’t only need to daily eat from each of the food groups but a wide variety of choices from each group. Ask yourselves, “Do we really make all the choices for every meal every day?” Coffee and skip breakfast, a Subway sandwich at lunch, and a TV dinner at night. None of us make ALL the right choices all the time. You need to supplement

  • Going through the comments i found out that most of you are movies addict idiots
Talking about spartans early mans and all
Look this guy is not the same whome you are comparing with
This guy has cuts abs all shredded
Your BEST spartans and all were big fatt ass bloated warriors who were all about strength not any kind of good looking attractive bodybuilder
And for the one who said eating beef of about 2.5 lbs will give you enough protein
I need you to play this video again and please kindly listen to him carefully
He said a persons protein intake varies with his MASS
    U got that?
There is no way saying my husband never had any supplement and still is strong and blah blah
    It sucks
Hus husband might be strong but he ain’t a bodybuilder
He ain’t the one with shredded body and abs
Yes there is the difference you morons

  • When do you recommend taking protein shakes during intermittent fasting schedules? I typically workout around hour 11 of my 16 hour fast.

  • So every scientific study I could find on casein protein that was long-term has only showed its benefits is equal or comparable to whey isolate. Every last showing about an equal amount of muscle gaining benefits as people who drink whey protein I’d appreciate if you could show me the study showing casein protein is bad for you

  • I consume my protine isplate shake as sn add-on to my other daily protine intakes, ill load it with oats fruit peanut butter and quality baby formula for added gains, sinse addin those things ive made all kinda muscle gains.

  • Idk but anything coming from mother nature is given to us for a reason and is good, living energy…. the universe operates off energy, frequency, and vibrations, animals go through life with traumas and shit that weigh them down just like humans do, and intaking that bad energy aint really good, energy never dies yea you might be swole but the shit we eat affect how we feel to if you aint got a peace of mind and not happy in life then you got nothing.. and this aint directed to bro in the vid just general knowledge for the public.

  • If protein powders spike insulin then they are a big “NO” for diabetics, good thing i watched this video because i was thinking of buying whey protein powder to bulk-up. I better just eat real meat instead the old fashioned way & some eggs. Thanks Thomas deLauer!

  • we all have saw that cave mans etc are shown muscular in the photos or in art pieces…they never used any protein but they are big and mascular they only eat meat etc

  • All cattle are grass-fed think about it they’re only given corn not grain lace with antibiotics when they’re in the can waiting to be slaughtered they’re standing around in their own feces the farmers load up their pickup truck full of corn laced with antibiotics. The reason for the antibiotics is because they are eating their own feces when they’re consuming the corn. All cattle are grass-fed. You need to find out where your meat is being butchered and how it is treated before it has been butchered. I guarantee you the protein in the Isis look protein came from cattle with antibiotics. Nearly all cattle have been treated with antibiotic and all cattle eat grass oh, the majority of their life. Grass-fed beef is a manipulation ploy d by the beef industry.

  • Jeff has to be the most honest guy in the industry, he is so full of integrity it’s insane. I trust him over anyone else in the world when it comes to supplements, training, and nutrition advice. Hands down

  • Eggs are also high in cholesterol. So good luck with that when you’re over 50. And olive oil is not the best for frying. However it’s good when added raw to salads.

  • My roommate used to wake up in the middle of the night and blend a can of tuna fish with water in a blender and drink it. So, your meat shakes aren’t really that bad sounding compared to that

  • I love pea protein. I drink chocolate pea milk every now and then. Alternating keeps things from being bland, keeps your metabolism on its toes, and helps and heals muscles in different ways. I honestly got most of my info by way of experimentation. You will literally feel things working or not if you go in blind. So don’t let commercialism give you placebo results.

  • Hey dude, doesn’t whey cause extra mucus as well as casin since they are both derived from milk.
I am a pea protein fan, due to its alkalinity factors, but balance my heaviest days with casin to top up my cells whilst sleeping. Cheers mate

  • This guy is too huge to be claiming any virtue on helping the planet. He’s a massive consumer/contributor. Worse than the rest of us.

  • 6:30 when the neighbours start acting up with their loud rock music when you’re just trying to have a civilized and insightful discussion with your mate.

  • In your other videos you say to build good muscle you should fast around your workout and only eat 8 hours and not for 16 to NOT spike insulin for muscles to grow better, now you are telling me to eat chicken breasts after workout, now what is it?? eat after or not?

  • I was going to say the same thing how did people get huge back then, they didn’t have supplements back then they only had food. These days supplements companies all they do is sell products and make money, they don’t care about us getting more muscle. You talk about the benefits you get from supplements but what about bad stuff you get from supps? At least food you eat is natural and healthy

  • Please quote 1 single study not done by your sponsor that says micellar casein is bad for you and can inhibit muscular gains. Every study I have read says exactly what you are claiming is false. #broscience

  • If man needed all these volumes of extracted artificial nutrients to build muscles, I don’t think nature would have locked them in small quantities in food. Why don’t you live solely on nutrients since you know up to the 2nd decimal point, the amount of nutrient your body needs to stay in perfect shape?

  • This guy has great information and you can tell it’s well over a decade of research and trial and error on his own body. Even if I don’t agree with everything, I respect everything he says.

His last video he suggested sour milk /keffir for probiotic and gelatin digestive system, I’ve been drinking it every morning and my bloating is gone.

Lastly, Everytime someone does a video on nutrition on YouTube, a lot of “Nutritional Elitists” will come in here swearing up and down that THEIR diet plan is the best one and that eating meat is bad or eggs are NOT better raw or whatever the Fuck.
I don’t mind constructive criticism, but don’t try discredit this guy just coz he said 1 or 2 things that go against what you’ve been lead to belive. You can disagree with him respectfully… Especially the “Vegan” elitists

  • Dead coming back to life = assumed dead might just be low pulse.
Virgins pregnant = I work in a hospital, I’ve seen hundreds of cases and it’s because of the husband’s small penis.
The world flooding = Tsunamis maybe?
As for water into wine this is where belief kicks in. You either believe it like me or don’t.

  • Really? I was expecting something better from you guys. I think that scientists (as in nutritionists) have more credibility about what’s better for the human body then you do. Oh and next time you try to tell anyone that something is false then at least represent it correctly

  • A great video explaining what the Prez referred to in regards to the difference in the digestive ability of human compared to other animals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn5zdWucv6I

  • You guys need to shut the hell up. People are so quick to believe anything they are originality told. Although I don’t completely doubt all of the theory of evolution, not all of it matches up 100%. For those of you with shit to day, For example, when someone theorized that the earth was Not the center of the universe, what was wrong was the general belief. OPEN YOUR EYES. GO DO YOUR OWN FINDINGS AND DON’T JUST ASSUME WHAT IS ON WIKIPEDIA IS TRUE

  • Do you think you would ever do a video on SARM’s? They are magical. As far as protein powders, as far as I’m concerned, everyone is still chasing what Met-Rx was making back in the early early 90’s. That stuff was absolutely magical!!!

  • People need to quit panicking about insulin rising with protein intake. Seriously, insulin is used to shuttle amino acids off to the cells that need it for repair because insulin is an anabolic hormone. It’s not bad. It’s not scary. It’s necessary and should not be avoided. Chronically high insulin driven up by constantly high blood glucose is what causes fat storage not protein. I’m surprised this man thinks that insulin is only a fat storage hormone.

  • Crazy clip. Terrific movie.

My younger brother used to be a flabby. He remodeled his body from 285 lbs of pure fat into 207 lbs of natural muscle. Everyone was surprised. I just joined personally as I’m going to enhance my physique. He used the Muscle Building Bible (Look in Google)…

  • Boxinmetalx set me ur email so i can straighten out all ur ignorant problems with islam. If u dont, ur just a hater. If u do give me ur email, i will answer all ur questions and challenge u till u shut up and understand everything straight. Cause unlike u im not gonna clog up the comments section with random irrelevant offensive ignorant crap

  • you are not stating facts. the “gram of protein per pound bodyweight” is crap, for one. and the VAST majority of supplements on the market are complete garbage, filled with toxins, and make claims as to their nutrient contents that are wayy off.

Humans evolved to absorb nutrients and vitamins together in specific ratios. Real foods for real health.

  • what country is the rape, and child rape capital of the world??? what countries still live by stone age rules like beheading, acid thrown in the face, hands cut off for theft, still marry and have sex with underage children?? yep mulims countries, who all believe the ideal man is a bloodthirsty child raping savage, u lot where spoon fed this shit from birth, wake up dumb ass

  • Hey Jeff,
I’m a senior in high school about to go away to college and was wanting to know what classes i should take to learn all this stuff.

  • Whey protein digestibility percentage is very low its about 16% and other 84 percentage is either converted to fuel or nitrogen waste.
Plus protein without adequate amount of fat content has far less digestibility.

  • Meat is high in cholesterol, low in fiber and bad for the environment. You can achieve all your fitness goals without it. Thanks for including pea protein and thanks for sharing.

  • This guy is funny a gorilla eats bananas and is strong as hell 10 times stronger than humans, lions eat deers and many weak animals and they are the king of the jungle what the hell is he talking about chickens, maybe he got attacked by a chicken when he was a kid and now he is against chicken idk

  • I drink whey protein and take weightgainer in the past,my musle don’t grow that easily now. Maybe the blood sugar spike in whey protein all this year.

  • Awesome interview and questions! Thank you so much for the content. I enjoy hearing that not everyone knows exactly which field they want to go into while entering medical school. I also enjoyed discussing the family lifestyle.

  • raising big muscles with minimum fat is impossible w/o supplements. Reason is simple. To raise muscles you gotta get proteines etc. So you gotta eat a lot, which goes with fat and sugar. So muscles will raise but also fat%. If you workout to burn fat -> youll also burn muscles. So they ll shrink again. Maybe if you have the genetics, and eat sleep workout perfect, its a little possible. But believe me 99,99 of guys with big muscles, and i mean really pumped up muscles and dry muscles no fat, looking like the gonna explode, not like very muscular but not pumped like Bruce Lee, but more like Stallone, you know they use shit. Even if its something little like creatine of whey powder, THEY USE SHIT. They look happy with them muscles but their kidneys and liver is gonaa get fkcd up. You can recognize these fools by their body parts radio, like little head sometimes neck and big arms small tits vice versa, thin legs etc. Hows my english?

  • Hi, could you please tell me what the deal is with milk protein? Is it any better than whey protein in terms of spiking insulin or should I avoid it? I’m just trying to look for an alternative to pea protein, because I find it a bit gross and very powdery in texture (even when mixed into liquids). Thanks!

  • What are your thoughts on pumpkin seed or sunflower seed powders? Also, on how protein powders are produced. Such as methods of heat in pressing and using sodium hydroxide, both which degrade proteins.

  • I just bought a quart of fat free milk for extra protein. I’d rather finish it than throw it away. Then, won’t buy it again. I do enjoy plain Greek yogurt and I’m not giving that up. One cup fat-free, sweetener free yogurt has 22g protein.

  • It’s all about evolution. Our bodies and liver didn’t evolved for the last 100k years eating powder of creatine and protein and all that stuff. They evolved eating food, so they aren’t used to process so many grams of all that stuff, a day.
I once did an echo on my liver 6m after i stopped doing protein powder and the doctor was like “Did you do protein powder in the past? I see some spots on your liver.”
    Stay healty!

  • Lol there’s actually a ton of evidence backing the theory of evolution and there’s good reasons to believe in the big bang thoery as well, but hey… it’s just advice… You can believe what ever the FUCK you wanna believe!

  • Dude is it okay to take like 50 grams of protein and fill the shake with that+2 -3 dl of milk and drink it instead of eating food with like high carbohydrates? Help! Please reply:(

  • Hello, have you heard of “MuscLeader” (look on Google)? On their website you will find a good free video showing how you can grow noticeable muscle fast whilst dropping excess fat as well. James and many other guys experienced great results applying this approach. It might help you too…

  • this reply is really invalid and I dont think you have much of an argument. you cant have a “manhorse” or a “catdog” so this isnt other proof and there is no such thing as interspecies multiplication if anything it would be called interspecies breeding you dumbass and different species cant interbreed. you could modify the DNA of a house hold cat to have tiger stripes because they are in the same DNA family but the cat will not pass this DNA gene on. I cant believe you tried to call me braindead

  • Virgin Mary didn’t have the son of Chris. She had Him. As for the animal part: fish can swim, birds can fly. Every other animals is a combination of two others. I’ve seen dogs fuck cats (interspecies multiplication), another proof for this interspecies thing is the fact that some men fuck horses or how aids appeared cause of having sex with apes.

  • Get your protein from any whole food like eggs, steak, chicken, anything not processed including protein drinks. We didn’t have protein drinks in the 80 s and we all did fine eating healthy.

  • I’m a hardgainer, technically skinny-fat. I am wondering what supplements should I buy. And if I’m unable to buy said supplements, what are my alternatives?

  • well actually for one we are not made out of dark matter, we are a carbon based life form. we are not created in his image, if we where you wouldn’t have problems like for example tetralogy of fallot, a form of heart disease that I have. according to what your saying we should all be “perfect”. apes are only one link of the metaphorical chain that we call evolution, so is bacteria. and the true answer is evolution hasn’t stopped, it is an endless process take Darwin’s finches for example..

  • yes of obviously I believe in air because I know what it consists of and you can see the effects of it and with out it, it’s perfectly logical to believe in air. and yes, when you look up at night, that is outer space, and if you get a powerful telescope you can see some more of our solar system. if “god” created us for whatever reason, don’t you think it would be a bit pointless creating other lifeless planets? of course with the exception of the sun

  • @MutsuKazuma i know bro…people have it wrong lol…its not lbs its KG!!! lol but yeah supplement companies love to bullshit…and yeah 200 grams per day lol sure youd have all types of stomach liver malfunctions! lol!

  • Believing in God is hard since you can’t see him. But here’s the thing, believing in a Being like you in who’s image you were created still sounds better than believing in “dark matter”, ex: you look like your parents not like dark matter.
Believing in evolution is a dumb thing to do. Scientists say we come from apes. NO SHIT! So why did the evolution stop. Their answer: it wasn’t neccessary anymore. Is that REALLY a satisfying answer?
Here’s my advice for you: read the Bible.

  • 14:00 Can someone give an example of the “hydrolyzed beef” that Thomas is saying we should avoid? I’m assuming “HydroBeef” by Designs for Health but I want to be sure

  • Do people still think we came from nothing out of nothing for no reason….or that we came from a damn ape….those who tell themselves that are only fooling themselves. Science changes everyday, it can only give you how but never why. Behind all creation lies a creator…..logic

  • Of course he sides with supplements he sells them!
    The RDA is a joke!
The USA food pyramid us a joke.

We were told through the years “studies” show… egg yolk, butter, salt etc…was bad. Oh, now they say those things are actually good.

They say “scientific studies” say the best way to treat cancer is conventional therapy via poison.
Liars! Everybody I know who went the alternative treatment route CURED themselves of cancer.

I know numerous gymnasts and exercise enthusiasts who have great physiques and they do NOT take supplements.

  • As it happens if you eat the beef for the creatine you also eat the right amount for the Glutamine and smash your protein needs. Just saying.

  • I took creatine about 10-13 years ago….I was 20-23yrs old, and my hair was falling out, my hairline was reseading back, i would see hair in my bath tub, and on my comb, and I thought my hair was going to have a hourse shoe…….now my hair has never been more full and it hasn’t receanded since then……..just saying

  • im from 70 kg to 65 kg, im mesomorph, 160cm, overweight, 65 still overweight, should been 63 to be considered not overweight, most of my fat in my love handles. sedentary live. losing 70 to 65 is easy, but now i just cant seems to lose more weight, tried 16/8 fast for 2 weeks, doesnt work and i feel like shit even though ive been drinking water to avoid starvation. the idea is calorie deficit, lowering ur calorie intake but at the same time burn more than u take, daily protein intake is a must, because muscles will help get rid of fat and protein is hard to disgest so u will feel full for longer, i drink whey protein because eating chicken breast is just hard to chew and takes so much time. i have low metabolism as well so theres that. whey protein is delicious and its really makes me feel full. then drink 1.5 to 3 liters of water everyday. fullfill ur daily fiber also extremely crucial because fiber keeps the organs healthy and help in disgestion of protein which is again hard to digest. fiber also makes u feel full for longer just like protein. if u really want to lose weight then its quite easy. carbs and fats only targets daily fiber intake, the rest is protein daily intake and 1.5 to 3 liters of water. thats it. my body is packed with muscles but my love handles just wont go away. still 65 kg though.

  • Jeff, I don’t think that there is anybody better to help out with Nutrition plans among other things, than you. To answer your question about whether or not I take supplements, I don’t, but I would really like to use the supplements that you take to help me benefit from the Nutritional values that they have.

  • So I don’t understand how ancient civilization like the Spartans go strong and muscular, back in time when there was no supplements. In their time they were consider the best and the strongest, so how did they do it without supplements?

  • I hit up Walmart 10lb bag of chick 5lb bag of chicken,5lb roll of hamburger, boil in a bag brown rice, egg whites and oatmeal.. cost me 48.50… a week and swole like a muthafucka

  • So what is a good meal replacement powder for when on a Keto diet? I do moderate exercise (tennis, walking) and like the convenience of making a shake with almond milk. Have been using MOLK (mostly whey) but after this video I don’t know if it is the best choice.

  • Guy on doids talks about how bad you need sups…. and forget to mention for example that you won’t have so much testosterone to benefit form 200G protein and so:D As a natural builder you need 50G minimum protein and max 1G per KG and you can get from real food easy ) Only supplements you need is Omega 3 and Vitamin D… maybe some Multivitamin if diet is poor…

  • mA, I like the idea of the BA / MD program. Hibba, if you read this…

Did you take AP courses in High school?

How did you manage to do 22 credit hours a semester, without burning out?

How was personal time / how many hours a day did you get to yourself daily during college / Medical school?

Lastly, through out high school, college, and medical school did you find yourself following a routine, schedule, or a mixture of both?

  • What about if I drink my homemade shake like oats banana yogurt egg whites peanut butter to gain muscle? Instead of drinking whey protein

  • issue with supplements is they arent permanent, u wont be taking them forever, once u stop ur progress will go down cuz ur body was relying too much on it. whether u stop at 40, 50, 60yrs old. I’d like to be active forever and i dont want to take supplements in my 50s. sadly this is the only thing i disagree with Jeff on, but his science does back it up but he doesnt mention the creatine we create in our body, added with the meat shuld be more than enuf. taking supplements to help u perform better is just cheating in my eyes, u can last for X reps with supplements, but then u stop then and now u last “x-y” reps, great, u lost potential

  • Actually, monkey’s genetic code would not evolve to us, why? because evolution only happens when its nessacary to adapt to one’s enviroment. And they’ve already evolved enough, besides, evolving to us would not makes sense because our bodies weren’t made to survive in the wild, that’s why we must improvise with clothing to stay warm. How Evolution progresses itsself is dictated by the conditions of the surrounding enviroment, if its cold, then in 1 million years, the species (according to the evolution thoery) would develop thick hair all over the body. But what exactly is evolution? How does it function? Is it something in the body? Or is it the enviroment affecting pregnant females and furthering the biological reaction every thousand years with newborns? It just doesn’t make sense to me

  • @clearasil11 genetics also play a roll in how well your body develops and what not. not just the supplements, they only aid but hey to each his own =) and good job as long as your doing whats right for you, thats what counts.

  • I have been watching your videos for about a month and I love them! You are very informative. You keep things focused on the subjects. You are engaging to listen to and you do not waste my time. Thank you very much! I have even recommended you to my father who is a professional trainer. God bless and keep up the great work Jeff!

  • I use both supplements and food, im bloated the whole day how ever ive gained 15kg in 4 months and didnt gain fat just muscle, shake has around 600 calories

  • very helpful thanks! why don’t you do a daily meal that you go through? just show us what you eat in the morning, in between, at lunch, in between and dinner. tell which supplements you take, made supplements, where to buy and GG. better than having to prove stuff? it will be your most watched viewed video to date. gl

  • Okay so hears my dilemma, i take isolate100 protien on days i work out, my off days i save my protien, and just alot of meats like turkey, chicken, beef, and alot of bacon, LOVE BACON, and of course my good carbs like whole wheats. Am i on the right track of not only getting stronger but myoverall goal is to get BIGGER. please help??

  • The thing with science is that scientific knowledge is fucking specific. it’s specific as fuck. and people do not have the patience to learn every fuvking situation.

  • Thomas do you have a discount code for us Canadians? I tried on sun warrior website but they don’t have Canada as a country to ship
    To.

  • Where are you getting your numbers from? The recommended dose of omega-3s is 0.3g/day. People with circulatory diseases should take about 1g/day. 100g of tuna contains 1.4g of EDA and 1.2g of DHA, while one can typically contains 150g of tuna. I would say your studies appear to have been supported by firms who sell supplements and I would love to see them.

  • Why are there so ignorant people i read a comment here that said how were spartans so big and strong:O ok i think you need to understand what he’s referring to first. If you take it like that u wouldn’t need any supps but if u think that Spartans looked like they are shown in the 300 movie u r an idiot xD they may have been strong and all but they weren’t CUT and JACKED like that they were full of fat cause they ate meat in extreme and don’t try to defend that u don’t need supps if u want to be CUT like Jeff like he said in the video if u need to eat 2.5 pounds of beef just for the creatine where’s the fat and calories u r just gonna look like a fat fuck and not one muscle will show no matter how much cardio u think u r doing i mean come on listen to the facts first then talk it’s not like he said u HAVE TO TAKE SUPPLEMENTS but if u wanna look CUT and BIG yeah u do and if u want a shortcut just take roids like all those bloated freaks

  • I’m not anti-supplements but people had the ability to be ripped, fit and healthy way before supplements were introduced to mankind. So surely it is possible to get great results without?

  • one of us went into medical school wanting to do orthopedic surgery…but it ended up not being his thing! thankful for diverse people in the medical community who each like different parts of medicine to help out patients as best as we can:)

  • The only Real Proteins come from Plants and that is Facts. Watch The Game Changer on Netflix yall. Just think about why Iron Mike Tyson is a Vegan since 10 Years now and also Arnold Schwarzenegger.

  • @gerfenn You’re telling me, if I weigh 170 lbs, the recommended amount of protein I should get per day is roughly 62 grams? You kidding me? If you eat eggs for breakfast, chicken for lunch, and fish for dinner, you get almost twice that much protein. I’m going for 1g/1lb of bw.

  • Supplements are useless, I’ve trained with protein powder in my diet and creatine and without, no difference between them, I mean there is a difference, I wasted more money with supplements.

  • You can get creatine from beef and glutamine and protein? why do u put tuna and chicken in same video? Also u can get glutamine and protein and omega 3 from tuna but again u put beef and chicken and tuna in same video just to trick people.
If supplements are so good and cheap why do u even use regular food? You can leave from supplements then!
If your concern are heavy metals from tuna why do u not care about problems with kidneys and liver if u take supplements?

  • Maybe <<<  I can make a better point look WAY back before protein powder's and all these supplements came out. Did we or did we not have body builders? Plain and simple!!!

  • There are ingredients going into just about everything we consume. Ingredients provided by countries from around the world, that are “unregulated”. These products are sold in the
U.S. with suspect ingredients and also unregulated. The entire industry of bottled water, vitamins, protein powders, etc., have gone unregulated for decades. Unless you’re training for a highly skilled/demanding sports endeavor, and under the care of a highly trained and reputable nutrionist/sports doctor, stay away from all the protein enhanced products. You really don’t know what’s in them. Keep it simple work out hard, eat natural & appropriate enhancing meals.

  • hi jeff, as always great advice and tips. i need advice, please help.
we are entering into the holy month of Ramadaan, where we would stay away from food  and drink for 30 days, from sunrise to sunset. I did abit of research and asked a few trainers at our local gym and they all advise that it is better to not workout for duration of the month as it would be more harmful, however light cardio would be ok. Please advise.

  • But if someone is eating that much beef per day (2.5 lbs.) to get the recommended creatine intake, wouldn’t that person also be consuming more than enough protein?

  • First time I don’t agree with you, Jeff! Supplements can be a good thing and make things a lot easier, but is without a doubt possible to do it with a good and healthy diet, it takes more time to prepare, but it will certainly taste better and you know more about, what you actually put in your body!
Maybe you can’t live without supps, when you want to look like Ronny coleman, but who wants to be that big anyway!
For a muscular and still sporty physique you don’t need so much artifficial stuff

  • That’s EXACTLY what he said: supplements are NOT required, but they help, and help a lot. So take the easier approach or handicap yourself voluntarily it’s up to you.

  • I’m not vegan but I do take a supplement called spirulina look it up and it’s pretty good for you soon you won’t be able to communicate with me because your channel is getting so big I just saw you do take it crazy I’ve taken that for years

  • Why not use the example of maby SALMON… for omega fatty acits? instead of canned tuna? i mean common.. i love your videos and your realistic input on things but i dont agree with this video:)

  • @israelsito07 it is everything is just marketing bullshit by supplement companies, imagine stuffing 200 grams of protein into yourself every single day if you are a big guy, insane

  • Big fan of AX. I’ve watched a lot of AX videos, combed through lots of posts & threads, & comments, to try & understand why my muscles stay sore for so long up to 5 days sometimes. Is it a nutritional thing? Or just not working out enough & consistently??

  • Could i drink milk for “whey”(fast digesting protein) kind of post workout recovery for my muscles to quickly recocer and grow at night(for example 8:30 p.m. right after my workout) and then eat a slow digesting protein before i go to bed for muscle growth?

  • Terrible advice. Straight nonsense out of his mouth. Stick to training advices etc. Leave the biology, nutrition and medicine to the scientists, or at least catch up with the latest and most reliable meta analysis regarding the topics you claim to know something about.

  • Honestly, i dont like taking supplements. Cuz i feel its not entirely ‘natural’. I’m a vegan and i’m perfectly fine. I have a great body, i get enough nutrition. And i can lift heavy. I’m not the biggest guy, but i’d say im around jeff’s size. Truth is, it all narrows down to how well you train yourself. Not only physically but mentally also. Its all in ur mindset. Not saying jeff is wrong, but i’m just stating my opinion. =)

  • @Behindspace90 the reality is that you probably have no idea what you are talking about and Jeff has been at the highest level you can pretty much go in his profession. But you can comment, it just doesn’t make sense, thats all I’m saying.

  • What about the idea that it digests too fast. For people eating one meal a day, if you drink 150g protein, wouldnt only a small portion of it be actually be used for muscle building? And the excess gets discarded because there is a limit to how much protein you can utilize for muscle growth. But if you eat food it digests and absorbs slowly so u can elevate protein symthesis longer, I ask be because im curious if i can simplify my omad diet by just drinking the majority of my protein on days i dont feel like eating. Thanks man love the vids.

  • supplements are only good for those who take the fast short road like a bunny rabbit but the tortus always wins and if you take your time and workout without supplements your body will build and become stronger if your taking pre workout your not making your heart stronger your giving it a cruch to rely on.. its common sense. since when did the real good boxers or real athletes ever rely on that shit..I know

  • yet u probably believe int he imaginary man int he sky with absolutely zero proof of existence and he is supposed to love humans yet lets millions of children die horrible deaths daily, kids raped, murdered starved go back to school…pre school should do it

  • Difference with vegans and all eaters is the approach.

Vegans tend to value on pure natural sources of food. They value life sources (All greens and veggies).

The all eater just examens his own body and the needs of it (all food, incl meat). Mostly they dont really care where there products come from.

Sure there are millions of hybrids in these eating beliefs.

Its all a mindset and how you view the food/world.

  • I have a questions for Doctor Aziz. My question is do you work with Podiatrist Surgeon also in your field? Oh Doctor Webb can you make an interview comparing a Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon and Foot and Ankle Podiatric Surgeon in the near future. I know that you just graduated from your residency sir.

  • There are valid reasons why many top athletes are 100% plant based. Ask Scott Burnhard, ask Bam Baam, ask Lox, ask Venus Williams, Kyrie Irving, John Salle, Mike Tyson. Watch Arnold’s movie The Game Changers: https://youtu.be/ove9b16OeR4

  • i loved how he stated “the weak” and “strong ” meat. here saharien tribes got a saying which is ; ” i eat Camel liver to be strong like Camel”

  • Quinoa is a grain from South America contains every amino acid which makes it a complete protein. If you don’t like quinoa rinse it and then cook it.

  • If you want to get bulked up for bragging rights u must go for the supplements
But if you want to be healthy and muscular u would have to go for a whole food diet
Whole foods have healthy doses of what ur body needs and they also have nutrients that keep your cardiovascular, Immune, and muscular systems working at their best. The supplements can’t do that.

  • White Beans, Lentils, Hemp Seeds, Nuts, Broccoli, Cauliflower, homemade popcorn. and have your egg/meat/fish slip up every once in a while

  • I started taking 3 raw eggs in the morning but prior to that shots of apple cidar vinegar and saurkraut for probiotics, i even take a 10min walk at 6am because of this man! He knows his stuff, i feel amazing. Thank u BarNatural

  • Mr Thats Good Money, this guy you are interviewing knows more than you because he researched it more obviously, and a carnivore diet is a life saviour for both healthy people and especially sick people because vegetables don’t like to be eaten because they have antinutrients. And when you go to the shop potatoes and rice are 5 times cheaper per kg than meat, why do you think that is? these crap carbs like rice, potato, bread are low quality food compared to meat. this guy knows his stuff he learned it from people that study it im sure.

  • Any eggs. Just eat the damn eggs, raw if ur in a hurry. Just get it in you and go about your day. They’re not bad raw. We eat bear, elk, moose, deer. Bear ribs are delicious but I’m done killing bears. One time I ate mountain lion. I’ve eaten bull testicles and every animal testicle I the woods. We knew about antler velvet back in the 80 s. Ask them old Italians about goat balls, mountain oysters

  • I don’t get it. You say add collagen to coffee or whatnot… but NOT hydrolyzed.

PLEASE show us where to get non-hydrolyzed collagen… I can’t seem to find any.

  • Downsides of whey protein:

1-it comes from an animal who suffers/dies as a result of being sexually exploited

    2-Contributes further to environmental destruction

3-Delusions about how much protein we actually need (watch game changers)

  • No matter what you do or say somebody is always going to have something negative to say cant live our lives without people talking shit keep doing what you do hodgetwins evrything isnt always going to be perfect people need to realiza that this world is full of fake people

  • Cans of mackerel and sardines are very good sources of protein and other nutrients and cost next to nothing. Very high in EPA/DHA, iodine, calcium, selenium, B12 etc. https://www.checkyourfood.com/ingredients/ingredient/617/mackerel-tinned-in-tomato-sauce?Area=

  • Be careful if eating a lot of raw eggs as the avidin in raw egg whites reduces availability of biotin. Some people run into issues with this. I think the best way to do eggs is lightly poached (keep the nutrients in the yolk raw).

  • Wow this guy is impressive. Only came across Prez by browsing YT a few days ago. Check out his channel guys… BAR NATURAL. He’s the man. Respect from South Wales in the UK.

  • Meat is the easiest food to digest, it is completely absorbed in the small intestine. Look into FODMAPS that vegetables and grains contain, they cause digestive issues.

  • the main thing whats wrong with this video isnt the denial of evolution (which i cant really tell if its serious or not) but the fact that it doesnt in any way answer the question

  • Though this guy makes some valid points, he is inaccurate when it comes to the power of vegetables and regarding plant based lifestyles or vegan. He stated that he did not do the vegan “diet” correctly. He seems to be too protein focused, which is one nutrient. Nutrition is the following: Carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats, water and fiber. The bottom line is, each person need to learn about food and create a lifestyle program that is individualized to the unique needs of their bodies!

  • I hear u bruh and everything makes sense but a vegan who does it correctly not the vegans that eat chips and cookies but the vegans that are healthy always look better than one who eats tons of meat. And eating more things naturally from the planet help u live longer yup I said what I said

  • If you are young, then you get plenty of nutrition from a healthy diet. However, if you are older, then you won’t get enough even in the healthiest diets. That’s why older people MUST supplement!

  • Hi. I don’t agree about chickens being weak. I learnt that chickens have the largest chest per ratio of all the animals. #gochickens.

  • Hey Jeff. I do take supplements because I can’t literally fit/eat that much food in a day. Although did want to point out the beef and fish you used as a creatine and omega source will also provide you with more than enough protein and glutamine. So the chicken breast was pointless in the math.

  • Red meats make the body stink, and also dairy… I will have the bone broth from bones.. I am a female.. maybe for male it ok to eat red meat… onelove

  • You say whey protein shoots your insulin. Is it safe to take if you have diabetes 2?
I just started at a gym that gave me a work out and meal plan which says to
eat a protein and veggies at 7am,
    drink whey protein shake 10am,
eat a protein and veggies 1pm,
    Whey Protein shake at 4pm,
eat a protein and veggies at 7pm,
only eat if hungry zero calorie fluids at 10pm.
Is this too much protein in a day and/or too much whey protein drink in a day?

  • Interesting, I have read research stating that raw eggs do not benefit you more than some cooked eggs and the best way to eat an egg is fried with a runny yolk.

  • Let’s say you drink a glass of milk with 8 grams of protein and 250mg of calcium. When you drink this 60% of that calcium goes to break down the protein so your muscles can use it and 40% to the bones. So it you do your body weight times.8 or.9 for body builders and endurance runners you need a lot of calcium in your diet. If you don’t take a lot of calcium how does protein get broken down? Your body takes calcium from your bones to break down protein this weakens your bones and can led to os

  • Yes I agree cant even believe it. even i was very sad since i workout well for abs but nothing was coming. Listen to this one of my friend working in fitness field suggested me this 7 secret food items to kill our jelly belly. have a look here bit.ly/1cNDYXB?=ghpwd

  • @geedunk13 sorry for taking so long to respond, just realized I had a comment. But no, the videos aren’t the program. Some of the videos are part of the program, they are mostly just awesome extra bits of knowledge to soak up. The program costs like 67 bucks and is 90 days long. It comes with a home work out program, gym program, and meal plan. It’s pretty legit. When you finish it you can repeat it and just make it harder for yourself by adding more weight, etc. Highly suggest it!

  • Hi There Thomas. Thanks for this great information. BUT now I am very confused. Please see this article: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/07/140707212746.htm#::text=Consuming%20whey%20protein%20before%20a,in%20turn%20stimulates%20insulin%20production. It states and goes into the following… Protein consumption is known to stimulate the production of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), a gut hormone that in turn stimulates insulin production. Thus the researchers hypothesized that stimulating GLP-1 production by consuming whey protein before a meal would improve the body’s blood sugar control following a meal.

They conclude that: The authors conclude: “In summary, consumption of whey protein shortly before a high-glycemic-index breakfast increased the early and late post-meal insulin secretion, improved GLP-1 responses and reduced post-meal blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetic patients. Whey protein may, therefore, represent a novel approach for enhancing glucose-lowering strategies in type 2 diabetes.” They add that such treatment would be cheap and easy to administer, with patients able to use any brand of whey protein concentrate which has no added sugar or other nutrients.
This is what drives countless people crazy. It seems there are so many opinions about all this stuff. Who do we listen to? Ugh!!! Your thoughts???? Many blessings to you… and thanks for your great work… I can’t wait to hear your response. “Subscribed”…

  • I don’t think meat is the problem, over eating is the problem. The amount of food you have to eat to get the same nutrients and protein of meat is too much for me. I like small portions, half veggies and minimal carbs.

  • I enjoyed this video. He really gave some good and helpful tips. Thanks for sharing. LOL and “the weak birds (chicken) and “alot of plants don’t want to be eaten by humans.”

  • That’s Good Money was like “chicken is a weak bird?” ‍♂️ Prez kno damn well he ain’t gone get black people to give up on chicken

  • Good money channel changing my life forreal. Shout out to the info man aka prez and shredda even tho he ain’t on this video fck it, shredda zen af during beast mode requirements

  • so does the bible, water into wine? the dead coming back to life? virgins pregnant? an apparent “divine creator” that has a human son? knowers ark, the world flooding, two of every animal all on one boat, not mention where all the water came form or went? none of this makes any sense honestly does it? and i am sure if knowers ark really did happen there would be a great deal of evidence like fossils of marine creatures no the top of a mountain ha. I know that none of this is physically possible.

  • Cow is not a complete protein. It’s is not a natural animal. Now a proper steak does have proper nutrient count over a chicken. But chicken is a more complete source of protein cause it’s a natural animal and one of the oldest animals on the planet in fact it’s not even a animal it’s a reptile which a cow is not so the dna structure is more complete and whole then a cow same goes with fish or any bird or reptile. I think his stand on chicken is more personal cause he said he eat a egg quick which comes from?

  • he is right with the plants and the anti-nutrients, thats why proper preparation (soaking, fermenting, etc) and combination is so important in order to get the best out of it and avoid digestive issues and allergies and getting the complete protein profile. like mixing beans with rice. there’s a lot of upsides to eating plants (e.g. antioxidants, micro minerals, vitamins etc), but you have to do it right. combining plant based foods with high quality animal products and you have a complex whole food diet.

  • BS on high carbs being bad. Race him, he’s another “weak” vegan:
Scott Gordon Jurek (born October 26, 1973) is an American ultramarathoner, author, and public speaker. Throughout his running career, Jurek was one of the most dominant ultramarathon runners in the world, winning the Hardrock Hundred (2007), the Badwater Ultramarathon (2005, 2006), the Spartathlon (2006, 2007, 2008), and the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run (1999–2005). In 2010, at the 24-Hour World Championships in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France, Jurek won a silver medal behind Shingo Inoue and set a new US record for distance run in 24 hours with *165.7 miles (an average pace of 8 minutes and 42 seconds per mile)*. Jurek has followed a vegetarian diet since 1997, and a vegan diet since 1999.

  • Yeah but the thing is you probobly don’t need that much creatine, glutamine, omega 3 or protein. And obviously no one is going to get all their protein from chicken so thats stupid, and obviously if you want to take creatine you need supplements or your gonna be bleeding from your ass. Enema anyone?

  • “In 2008, the Harvard Physician’s Health Study, which followed about about 20,000 physicians for 20 years, found that those eating just a single egg a day or more had significantly higher total mortality risk, meaning eating just one egg a day was significantly associated with living, on average, a shorter life. Later that year, that same single serving of egg was significantly associated with death and hospitalization from heart failure.” https://nutritionfacts.org/2011/08/31/bad-egg/

  • Just ask this Question to yourself, what do Gorillas eat? Then you will come to the Conclussion that they only eat Plants. I think thats enough Evidence, where the Real Proteins come from, but everybody can choose what they are putting into theyre Bodies.

  • Gerfenn my track coach runs in the olympics for marathons and he says protein for endurance runners need BW in LBs times.8 is that right?

  • There are a couple BA/MD programs in NY through the CUNY and SUNY systems. NYIT also has BA/DO track as well. I’m not sure how long they are though.

  • Eggs are a great source of glutamine as well and they are one of the cheapest protein sources you can buy. Not saying that he’s wrong, just saying there are other options. My husband is extremely strong and has never taken omega 3 supplements, creatine, or any other enhancement supplements. On occasion he has done a pure whey protein shake when we are on the go but he usually eats whole foods. I am the same. Although I take fish oil supplements in the winter to up my vitamin D. I also take a multivitamin. Food doesn’t have all the vitamins it once had back in the day. Again, not saying Jeff is wrong.. just pointing out some great food sources.

  • I am eating salmon right now as a experiment. (I’m frutarían more than 1 year) i started eating salmon after your last good money nutrition video. I’m eating salmon for breakfast every day and see but

  • I’ve just started following Prez and his knowledge in the fitness world (mainly calastenics) about a week ago. Check his YT out also.. Great content and I’m a work in progress on the workout tip.

  • Tuna has o.28g of omega 3, but salmon has 2.2g. One can of salmon = 7 cans of tuna. Not that I would eat either because I’m vegan and vegan Algae 0mega 3’s tablets are cheaper and toxin free. Also easy to get cheap protein, lentils and also high in glutamine 1g in every 10g is glutamine.

  • Hello, I have just watched all your videos, they are very good, I can understand most of what is involved. However, this video, I have some questions.

    1. What about of how much do you absorb from a protein shake?
A nutritionist has told me, only 8% gets absorbed, so you are better off eating some real food, like eggs…

    2. What about the different types of whey?
Meat, egg, milk? Which one is best?

  • Okay, pulled the trigger and bought a couple of products from sun warrior. I have been drinking protein drinks that contain carrageenan and we all know that is horrible…

  • a pug rabbit.. this is ludicrously crazy now, dogs and rabbits can not interbreed don’t be silly, you are a fool for believing this. even if this would be possible it certainly would not be natural and done by scientific biologists. once again you are proved wrong by common logic. if this was natural and possible it would be a common thing to see. if I where you, I would be seeing a doctor right now about your sheer gullible characteristics….

  • when bro was explaining how some ppl eat beans and peanut butter for fats carbs and protein so it cant be the main source was spot on bro he made good money shut his mouth G

  • Whey protein is so overrated just eat lean meat if you see every body that does whey you see them blotted and don’t even be next to them when they fart this is because whey is so hard for your body to eliminate

  • Ignorance at it’s best Haha. You want to know the truth? STOP reading BS and go to an educated Muslim and ask him. You sound so lost and uneducated. Start seeking the truth and save your self.

  • My body doesn’t react that well to pea protein so I can’t take that. Also being lactose intolerant makes it very difficult to find good protein powder.
What about egg white protein or BCAA supplements?

  • The key word is supplement. This industry hypes the amount of nutrition we need to sell us on supplements so we can aim for a crazy number that has no validity. At first eggs was bad, now their good, at first butter caused heart attacks now it’s good, at first fats was terrible, now we should stop eating carbs and focus on Keto diets. You get the point, just eat healthy at caloric deficit; while weight lifting and you’ll be ok

  • Dr. Webb, one of the BA/MD programs is actually here in my home city at the University of Toledo College of Medicine (my top choice medical school when I get to that point.) Wish I had known that was an option when I was a high-school freshman

  • Two minorities coming together! I never used to mention things like that, but tbh it’s huge and means so much to students like me. You two are great role models.

  • So even though you say the Big Bang (or any other theory) is ludicrous, but the thought of an omnipotent being snapping his fingers over the course of seven days, a talking snake, and a flood that covered the entire planet seems like a highly plausible and believable theory.

Wow…and the fact that humans share over 90% of the same identical DNA with chimps bears no meaning to you guys is just pitiful.

  • It would be a shame for you not to get ripped when other people accomplish it easily with “Rapid Muscle Booster” (check it out on Google).

  • Hey YouTubers, have you experienced Six Pack Strike? (look for it on Google) You will learn about the crimes we commit against our bodies. With Six Pack Strike, you will discover how to get ripped quickly.

  • Hey Dr Hibba if you can see this, can I get an insight if I can transfer from my college to the BS/MD program? I’m in a community college doing biology. I’m in sophomore year.

  • i can actually smile while reading your comment because you’re so ignorant.. i can see that you obviously dont know what you’re talking about and you’re not worth explaining things to.
