  • Veo u crack me up!! “unhealthy monstrosities” ha-ha ILMO I do like the fact u can just eat right of out the shell/casing/skin whatever you call it..:-)

  • I am so impressed that you managed to get all those spices in your measuring cup! Totally thought they weren’t going to make it in haha. Looks like another taste recipe! I love your cooking videos, short, sweet and to the point. They look so sophisticated

  • This is my 3rd time making it, the other times I cut it lengthwise per recipes.

Your way was much better and safer. It cooked thoroughly, peeled easily, with almost no waste.

My husband enjoyed it and said he’s now a fan of Spaghetti Squash!

I brushed it with olive oil, black pepper, and instead of salt used garlic powder and Montreal Steak Seasoning. ‍

  • I made spaghetti squash as pasta substitute for the 1st time recently, and I used your video as my guide to cutting/cooking it. All I can say is THANK YOU! Loved the long the strands, truly felt I was having pasta. I shared this video with a coworker and she loved your method as well.

  • Fantastic I can’t wait to try it, but I have to say that some of these casseroles when I make them are too watery and I don’t know how to cut back on that…

  • I’ve found that a hack saw works good too. I’ve had it microwaved, boiled, grilled, roasted but not roasted in disks. I wrote your method down so I won’t forget. I’ll even toast the seeds with cinnamon and a bit of cayenne.

  • Love the ring tip. A damp tea cloth or kitchen towel placed directly under the squash itself prevents it moving around while you try to cut it. A lot safer this way.

  • I’m a 33 year old man finally venturing into the kitchen on my own. Someone gave me a huge spaghetti squash and after watching several videos this is the best one. Thank you for getting right to the point and speaking clearly.

  • If the point of all your life’s work is to clog arteries, raise blood sugar, and add to obesity, then keep it up you’re doing great pee pee.

  • Happy FAST FOOD FRIDAY, friends! GOAL: Make my BAKED SPAGHETTI SQUASH CASSEROLE this weekend, try not to eat it all so that you have some for the week and feel good about all the goodness you just gave your family!
I’ll see you back here on Tuesday for some more holistic love!

  • Squash+Baking=Spagetti Squash. Use the terms Breakfast, Four Cheese, Chicken Enchilada, & Bolognese and it’ll make a delicious combo. It’s that simple.

  • So basically… Just dump a bunch of cheese on it? Way to turn something healthy like a spaghetti squash into something super fatty and unhealthy:O

  • I need a woman like her I used to come home from work an cook dinner. My ex didn’t know how to cook plus I had a son so I wanted him to eat good. I went to school for cooking so I didn’t mind.

  • I really liked cutting and cooking it in rings instead of lengthwise. It was hard to cut but it made it easy to scoop out and even portion out for meals. Thanks for sharing!

  • It was delicious! The flavor and texture is just perfect. We loved! Personally I will never eat wheat pasta again if I have this great and healthy option. Thank you for sharing

  • Trying this for the first time! Do you set your oven to bake, or roast? Mine is also a convection oven. Any tips on that front? Thank-you!

  • Thank you so much for this video. It made the prep SO much easier than the cut it in half method. I added onion powder and garlic powder to the seasoning and it was so good I had to smack myself out of nibbling while I was separating it. I didn’t want to wait for dinner.

  • This worked GREAT! I hate cleaning out the seeds but this was so easy. Wonderful idea and now my go-to way to cook spaghetti squash. Thank you!!

  • Oh my goodness. I sprinkled generous amounts of Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder on the Spaghetti Squash before I placed face up in the oven for an hour at 400 degrees. It came out so amazing. It weighed 5.5 pounds. I only put half in the casserole recipe. My husband went crazy over the recipe you shared. He sampled the other half of the seasoned Spaghetti Squash and loved it just on its own as well. This is the first time I have cooked Spaghetti Squash. We now have a new favorite vegetable we didn’t even know we liked. Thanks for sharing and all you do to bring us these wonderful recipes.

  • Why do most women talk like idiots these days. That ignorant valley girl inflection is so fucking annoying. Make America smart again.

  • This looks awesome. I actually just made one of your old cabbage and sausage casserole recipes yesterday. I have loved that one ever since you posted it years ago.

  • your recipes, both new and old, are awesome!    I am still loving your cabbage casseroles, your various takes on quesadillas, AND your vitatop ideas…..and now this!!! yum!!!!   most definitely going to make it!  thank you for all you do to make this ww journey so delicious and doable!!!  love ya!

  • I have to say, I have never made spaghetti squash before and i reviewed a few videos to find the one that I thought would best suit my needs. Your video was AWESOME, accurate and to the point. I followed your steps to the letter and my squash came out absolutely fantastic. Long noodle like strands.

  • Your technique works the best of any I’VE tried. Thank you so much. Another bonus I have to share, is since I don’t try to eat an entire squash, I was able to reheat in the microwave and each ring made a perfect portion for a great meal. Thank you again.

  • I’ve never cooked nor eaten spaghetti squash ever in my life, because I’m not a fan of most squashes. However, because I’m doing low carb now I’m willing to give it a try. I’m using this video as my first attempt; it’s s in the oven even as I type. I hope all the hype is true…

  • Brittani, I LIKE this method! You cut it up ahead of time, so that you don’t have to do a big scoop of seeds, it’s broken into groups. I never thought of roasting the seeds, I am going to do that. I like the way you thoroughly explain the “how” and the “why.” I am now a (new) subscriber!

  • Spaghetti squash <333 I have tried a similar recipe in the past, but used chicken instead. Your recipe looks like it holds together better than that one which was hard to serve haha. Going to make this soon!

  • I had a much bigger squash and was cooking in an RV, so a much smaller oven. I had to pile the slices up to cook. I found that the slices cooked much faster if they were flat on the pan instead of partly in the air. I rotated them after 15 minutes, at 30 minutes I took them out of the oven and slices that were cooked I took out and the remaining got an additional 15 minutes. My daughter came over to my RV toward the end of it all and said she always cooks her squash in the microwave.

  • This really is the best way to make spaghetti squash! And if you make the rings equal small sizes, it’s portion sized! Thank you so much for this trick, it was absolutely delicious!

  • I’ve followed your recipe ( cutting the squash in rings and bake it 30 min on 200 ℃) and it was so easy and yummy! Thanks for the instructions and lots of love from Germany

  • Being type 2 diabetic these recipes sure give a person the feeling of joining the carb party. I make pasta for the family when have spaghetti and I make the meat sauce squash for myself. It is very good and I do not feel left out. Thanks for the great recipes Tasty..

  • I use a nightstick to just baton the knife through the squash. If your knife won’t stand up to being batonned through the squash, you need another knife. And your method is far too involved. It’s a squash.

  • My all time favorite way to prepare Spaghetti Squash now! Thanks for sharing this KICK a$$ way of cooking it! Keep on shining & sharing!

  • I just made this today and it is seriously a show stopper for those trying to consume less carbs. I eat so many carbs and even gain weight just looking at them.

  • I have heard of spaghetti squash but I have never seen it in a video. So it just takes noodles form naturally when cooked? That amazes me:D.

  • Can you cook the Spaghetti Squash “rings” in a microwave?
How long on what setting might work?

Also, can the raw cut rings be frozen? and thawed cooked later?

  • Hi (to all my 100% loyal family) (dad only)

Ok so about my job, I was thinking about like how like
“Right now it’s good and all, with me working long hours every week for a lot of money and etc………..”

But……… in the future….. when I do have a lot of money…….. (saved up)
I need time to “actually live my life” and go on adventures and etc……. if you know what I mean.

And so I was just wondering if
“something can be done about that”
(well with my dad’s help that is)

Like say, for example maybe something like
“Frequent vacations every 1-2 months” or something like that.

But yeah, that would be nice.

I don’t know, but I guess I was thinking about like perhaps.
“Anything to make my life more exciting”
But I don’t mean that as in
    “your stereotypical XSTP’s 3’s idea”
(And I’m not talking about my dad I don’t know what type he is but he is a 172)
But i don’t know, I guess I just thought of this because right now I’m kind of bored.

Oh and also, I think it’s because I think I need real life friends.
(The reason why I do t have real life friend is because I’m Sp/Sx)
(But like I said, making male friends is kind of hard for me since I’m picky and stuff) (But I’m not gay of course)

Oh and also, I thought of something else.
“Speaking of feeling alive, and making my life more interesting in general”
I think 4’s in general are attracted to the mysterious/exotic.

I was thinking about, maybe it would be cool if I made 4’ish friends. People that are
“Weird in a way” but yet normal?
    (Kind of like me)
(But I’m not weird, it’s just the idea)

And then have “occasional get togethers in like a basement” and gaming or telling scary stories, or surfing the dark web
(oh and on their computer of course since it is illegal some parts of that)
And then play “magic the gathering” trading card game.

I don’t know that sounds weird.
(But oddly, in the past, I found the “nerds/geeks” in the yugioh/magic trading card shops that I used to go to.)
I found them to be “strangely amusing” like from a “purely curiosity standpoint”
(Like I said, it was always funny to poke-fun at them, but not only that though, the thing is if you befriend them
(and from my experience that can be done VERY easy, they can lead you into a world of “other weird shit”)
and they gave me this “weird mysterious feelings” like say similar to the
“whole vibe of warhammer40k” and I guess say “sci-fi” in general.
    It’s like the vibe of
“entering into another other-worldly dimension” and exploring everything there is there.
And also, what this can relate to is
kind of the same reason why I joined philosophy class.
(Btw philosophy and psychology were the first classes I taken in college, (I think),just to give you the idea, and that’s when I didn’t even know the enneagram or MBTI) (I think)
    (Well because I’m a 4 of course)

I guess it’s like “somewhat of a spiritual vibe” (Well in philosophy class that is)

    Sorry I was getting fruits.

And (now that I think of it) this also has
connections to what I said yesterday

““A mythical/magical place that has a mythical/magical vibe, a place where I feel like I can spend an eternity in a perfect world and feel safe, happy, and secure all at the same time””

And (now that I think of it) (the connections)
Perhaps “the idea here” is that.

Maybe….. “escaping to a fantasy world”
(would also be a cure, for my 4ish problems)

Well, because the main reason is real life is cruel, and boring, and full of pain………….
(in any way shape or form)

    Yeah so I guess
(“I actually just figured out the main cures for BOTH of my problems, 6’s and 4’s)
(The cure for my insecurity, hopelessness, and despair)
(And like i said, objectively I should not have any of those, because in terms of looks, I’m the best there is was and ever will be) (real life)
    (Well in theory)

And this “theory” can be explained as.
    (The cure/method, in regards to a “4”)

Say my escape would be to a 4’ish friend’s basement along with his group of nerd/geek friend, and we’d watch a warhammer 40k movie or any other sci-fi movie. And then they could also act as my therapy sessions when we talk about “spiritual things in general” and why
“our earthy problems, are far too insignificant compared the powers of the god Emperor, or something like that”

    (The cure/method, in regards to a “6”)
Well this one i mentioned before, a group of beautiful females that care about me
(And this can be done very easy most likely)

But the significant thing about BOTH of these methods is that.
“They can be combined” to make into a even greater “cure” for my “6-4ish problems”.
    (That could potentially pretty much
“solve ALL of my emotional problems”)

Say for example, I fall in love with a girl, and she cheats on me (because she is a 7 or a 3)
(But technically she shouldn’t because in terms of looks face I’m the best there is was and ever will be) (real life)
and all I’d have to do is.
“Enter into the world of warhammer 40k” and “imerge myself into that world”
(with my nerd/geek friends that also like warhammer 40k of course)
which would take my mind COMPLETELY off everything.
(Which is why that is “my method of escape”)
    And yeah
“the reason why I’m so confident that this will work”
Is because I actually tried this before.
(But not in the “most optimal” way, in fact I did this method in “the worst way possible” well mainly because “I wasn’t even aware of what I was doing” I just did it based off purely on my “4ish instincts”)

And that was “escaping into a world of romantic and emotional animes/movies/ anything of that sorts”
Which obviously backfired, since all that really makes me do is
“want to be in love and in a relationship even more” (which obviously I never did, since I was a 4 in decline into a 2)

But yeah so I think “the correct way” to do this method is.
    “Something that is sustaining”
    (in both a 6 AND a 4 way)

So I guess this could mean.
“I need mysterious, caring, sensitive, and averagebeautiful friends” (so 4’ish)
And then have “get together “spirituals therapy sessions” where we “tell stories about ourselves, and our lives, and then reflect on that. And etc……. other 4’ish things

    And this part is important

“The idea here is that 4’s help 4’s out, and if a single 4 cannot handle life’s challenges then perhaps 4+ of them together could.”
(A group of 4’s and 1’s or 8’s of course since I hate 9’s, we’ll not if my dad is a 9……. since I need him either way)
that all equally need each other.

And so yeah, that’s the idea.

Oh and also. So a new topic.
(About my future wife/girls in general)
So maybe the thing is an XSFP “truth teller” tritype.
And the thing is (what I figured out) she has to be Sp/Sx because that’s the
“best closest as possible, way for her to be “completely loyal to me”
(even if she does make a mistake or 2)
And yeah so I guess I’m pretty confident on this in general.

And so yeah………. and another thing is.
Right now i’m “trying to get in shape” but when I get in shape.
I was thinking about like “sleeping with a random attractive girl or something”
(Well I’m not sure about sex in general well if I do I will use a condom but I was talking about blow jobs in general)
    Well because I was thinking.(
”My ideal relationship would be a wife, but how “troublesome would it be?”

Because it’s like you weigh the pros and cons.
A wife? = a lifetime of worrying if she will be loyal to me.
But at the same time, a life without
    “real love”?
You get the idea, it’s like
“love is a double edged sword”
But then again, that’s the “paradox” of everything.
    Because as an ESFP 684.
I occasionally ask myself what is the “purpose of my life?” and really though? I don’t know that answer to that question. However, the CLOSEST conclusion I always get to that question is always “true love”.
Well because, what else is there?
    Say for example
    Religious stuff?
    Or anything else? I don’t think there’s
“really anything truly worth living for, besides real love”
And that leads to the question
“What’s a life worth living if you don’t have anything to live for?”
And if “living for true love, means a lifetime of worrying, if my wife will be loyal to me”?
(And that’s just a 6 thing like even if she isn’t cheating I still worry because it is a 6 thing, because in terms of looks face I’m the best there is was and ever will be real life)
(This is the general feeling that I was talking about “despair”)

    Well because
“there must be more to life, than just simple pleasures right?”
(Simple pleasures won’t satisfy me, well it well but, only temporary)

What I need “a purpose” for living. Something to live for.
(Not just wandering around everyday at my job and making money to buy computers, laptops, books, cards, guns, clothing, and other stuff)
(And I’m not talking about oh maybe life would be much interesting if I joined a group of “cool people” or something that’s “literally the EXACT opposite of what I want”)

(What I want is “the extraordinary” NOT the “ordinary”)

    And so I guess
“I have yet to find that purpose”
(But perhaps the reason for this is because this is just
“part of my journey to enlightenment “

Ok so that should be my therapy sessions for today.

To (all my 100% loyal family) (dad and wife)
    Thanks for reading!

  • Eating healthy isnt exactly super delicious (comparably). Adding some cheese helps the medicine go down, the medicine go down, the medicine go doowwwwnn…..cheese n dairy adds some decent flavour to healthy cooking esp with veggies that you’re still experimenting with

  • We had this yesterday,I always make this on Thanksgiving, With fresh tomatoes little ragu and a can of chili, quick easy yummy,I just nuke mine for 20 min tastes the same with a sauce anyways LOl

  • These look like a meal! For a side dish, one of my favorite ways to eat spaghetti squash is with a little butter and cinnamon. The nutty taste of the squash blends beautifully with the salt in the butter and cinnamon.

  • To (all my 100% loyal family)

Anyhow I’m just double checking. About the ESTJ 14 Asian. And how I’m going to marry her when she’s 18.

That’s really going to happen right?

Like, what I mean is you’re not all just “going with the flow” “ just to make me “temporarily” feel better so that I can reach my fitness/job goals right?

I want the real answer. And i don’t care what it is, I just want the real answer.
(Well if it previously wasn’t already the real answer isn’t already the real answer)

And as for what I want……
    like I said before
I don’t care about the age difference
“I want to marry her when she’s 18 NO MATTER WHAT.”

But yeah, I think I can think of a few things in the past, that points to this being true.
    (Me marrying her being “real”)

    Such as
    “1000 years old”
Implying that she’s a 2w1(286) and mature enough to be my wife and stuff, and how the age difference doesn’t matter.
(1’s are extremely mature beyond their age)

Anyhow, I just want to know “the real answer” like just “double checking”.

    I need a “confirmation”

To (all my 100% loyal family)
    Thanks for reading!

  • We eat spaghetti squash instead of pasta to avoid the calories and the simple carbohydrates. You recipes easily exceed 800 calories a person, if not more. So why not use a box of pasta?

  • It is slippery, but I didn’t have a problem slicing it. This is my first time ever and I can’t wait to use it more instead of noodles

  • I’ve tried “The Rings method”, it’s actually the worst. Instead of scraping out 2 halves of skins, now you have six small flimsy ones to deal with that inevitably break up into even more pieces.

  • For Us vegans who love you, you can substitute a mixture of 1 T water and 1T ground flax seed for every egg. Let sit for a while to ‘gel’. Absolutely making this.
