  • I love putting my oatmeal on top of frozen berries and placing fresh cut apples on top. It’s sweet and tart towards the bottom, crunchy and crisp on top. The oats make everything super creamy.

  • Love your healthy oatmeal recipe today.. i will try this! Now that i am getting older and fatter, i will try healthy foods! Thanks for sharing

  • Yes! Made my own apple sauce with cinnamon in tiny jars from my fruit trees last season and have a lot of oatmeal. Want to save my remaining flour for bread so love that there isn’t any flour in this and surprised they bind together without it. Will do the streusel topping because I have a slight sweet tooth. Never liked raisins though, so will do without those. Thanks for the demo.

  • So many people virtue signaling about using raw fruit when I only came here to know the proper way to cook the apples. I didn’t have rolled oats only whole grain, which is horrible, but some people would brag about it.

  • Hello my friend, I enjoyed visiting your great channel. I need your support and subscribe to my channel. Thank you very much. Be safe

  • I know this isn’t your smooth icing video but I used that trick to make my very first wedding cake (also your recipes) and it was a hit. Thank you so much!!

  • Thank you for your question. The instant oatmeal will take less time to cook, so you’ll want to adjust the cooking time in the recipe. Enjoy!

  • Thanks to ppls who mentioned a little bit of more sweetness needed. I roughly could figure out how much honey or sugar to add as I might not be able to find apple sauce in d nearby shop. Argh! Need to make this today for afternoon tea!

  • Made this recipe but i added applesauce, some brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stirred in some raisins and the kids are happy! Thanks for sharing

  • Cooking apples with coconut oil is such a great idea! Much healthier than butter! Using other end of spoon is so creative and smart! Great recipe! I’m always learning from you! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I’ve made several flavors of your oat muffins, and tonight I put my own spin on it. Fresh cherries and dark chocolate chips. Yummmm!!!

  • Dear Dany,
I am i love with all the suggestions and recipes, I already send your videos to my nieces in Canada and my brother in Mexico. I am writing you bc I made a mistake today buying the oatmeal, by accident I bought “steel cut oats” can I use this instead on the regular old fashioned oatmeal?

  • Hi, I would love my kids to take to school when Coronavirus is over and done. But my kids don’t like to see large pieces. Do you think that grating the Apple would be okay? Would it affect the baking and structure?

  • WOMEN!!! Would you PLEASE go easy with the cinnamon!?!?!? Most of us men do not like cinnamon as much as you seem to. I just don’t get it… what is it with you that you seem to almost have an orgasm just at the mention of the word “cinnamon”.

  • These look quick, healthy, low fat and low sugar, and vegan/plant based. Are they also gluten free? I ask as I had read somewhere that some oats are gluten free. I may look that up.Thanks again for the recipeI love apples and raisens, and oats.

  • I had them with apples, blueberries, and a combination of both.
    No raisins.
I also added protein powder and 1 banana.
With I could put pictures with this

  • I just baked these. They are good! It’s impossible to find any recipes without sugar, maple syrup or honey and I’m glad I found this. I wonder if the texture will change if I add walnut into the batter. I think I will use cranberries in the fall. It may be tart but I think they would be nice.

  • I made these yesterday. The texture is very dense and filling. I was surprised that they held together because when I put them in the tins I was worried. I mixed up the wet ingredients including the cinnamon (1 tbsp vs 1tsp) then added the dry. I think letting the oat soak while cutting up the apple also helps. I added vanilla and some chopped pecans. They are a healthy filling snack that I will make again but maybe add a bit of honey or maple syrup.thabk you for sharing this recipe. I’m an avid baker and ha e been trying to stay away from sure and wheat for a while. This was perfect. ❤️

  • Great to find a recipe without banana. My kids dont like the banana and oats combo and my eldest doesn’t like cinnamon. So it’s hard finding recipes that I can share with my kids.

Do you have an alternative to apple sauce? I don’t always have some in, espically at the moment with lockdown and you can’t really browse ingredients lists.

  • Um I made it a little bit different and stead of so much raisins I did a 1/4 cup of raisins instead of 1/3 of a cup I had added Livy’s chocolate About 60 of them little chips And a I tablespoon a butterscotch chips I used a cookie Scoop And it made 45 little oatmeal bars And it only ended up being 5 carbs each Then the next day I added 2 tablespoons of cool Whip 2 of the oatmeal cookies And a little bit of peanut butter And it only ended up being 20 carbs And it was so good

  • I made this but instead of muffins I spread it out on a big parchment paper covered cookie sheet and baked until it was kind of crispy. Delicious cereal!!! Also shaped some of it into cookies.

  • Can I use instant oats for this? This would be amazing with chocolate chips and bananas as well:) Also, can I use oil instead of applesauce? What would the alterations be in terms of baking time and sweetness?

  • This is one of our favorite fall breakfast! Our Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is vegan and full of flavor! We use gluten-free oats as well:)
