Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie | A Sweet Pea Chef

Ingredients. 1 medium banana, peeled and frozen. 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) 1 ½ Tbsp. nut or seed butter of choice. 1/2 cup unsweetened almond*, coconut milk or water.

1/2 cup canned coconut milk or full-fat yogurt –> not dairy-free. Stir it into low fat ricotta cheese for a lighter alternative to ice cream. Or, try my Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie as a perfect mid-day or post-workout snack. Just one serving provides 5 grams of fiber and 12 grams of protein for just 126 calories.

Your straw is waiting. 1/2 Banana. 1/2 cup Peach, pitted.

1/2 cup Pineapple, fresh. 1/4 cup Pumpkin Puree, canned. 1 1/2 cup Almond Milk, unsweetened.

1 tbsp Superfood Essentials Vanilla Plant-Based Protein. 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground. 1/2 tsp Allspice, ground.

1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt. 2/3 cup pumpkin puree. 1/2 cup milk (any kind; add more or less for desired consistency) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder.

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. 3 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar (can add more if desired). Notes. *I used LeanFit Complete Green Protein, which is a plant-based protein powder. **I made a DIY Pumpkin Pie Spice using: 1 tsp ground cinnamon, ¼ tsp ground ginger, 1/8 tsp ground allspice, and 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg.

This smoothie has 14 grams of protein per serving. This healthy pumpkin pie protein smoothie is so rich, filling, and velvety similar to the real thing! For the glass version I just topped the smoothie with a big scoop of dairy-free coconut whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon to mimic a nice big slice of pumpkin pie.

Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie: No Sugar Added [sc:Ziplist] Ingredients. 1/2 cup 100% pasteurized egg whites* 1/2 cup canned pumpkin, not pie filling; 1/4 cup almond milk, unsweetened; 1/2 cup cottage cheese, low fat; 1/2 cup ice; 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice; 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract; 1/4 teaspoon liquid vanilla stevia; optional: Dairy Free. 1 cup almond milk. 1 tablespoon maple syrup. 1/2 teaspoon Primal Palate Pumpkin Pie spice.

1 heaping scoop Vanilla Primal Fuel. Instructions. Place all ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth.

Drink. by. To make a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie, simply toss all of the ingredients – pure pumpkin puree, banana, ice, vanilla yogurt, milk, and a bit of pumpkin pie spice and agave or honey – into your blender and pulse until smooth. I add ice to my Pumpkin Pie Smoothie recipe to.

Each serving of this pumpkin protein smoothie provides 15 grams of protein, making it an excellent source of plant-based protein. This is thanks to the low-fat milk and almond butter. You don’t need any Greek yogurt, almond milk, or vanilla protein powder to.

  • Is there any substitute I can use besides protein powder? I’m not a huge fan of using the stuff, haha! So, is there any natural supplement that I can use?

  • the 1 cup of pure pumpkin was a little strong for me. I used a half of a cup instead on the fourth time I made it as I tried to perfect it. A half a cup was really good.

    I’d say workouts, but there’s already a ton of that on other fitness youtube channels, so something that would make you niche so to speak.

    As for cooking videos, do go into the more savory stuff, the meats and whole meals.

    Perhaps personal videos it’s solely up to you, on why you started this lifestyle, how it’s wholly affected you and those around, your tattoos, I for one would be genuinely interested.

    I’m having a mild allergic reaction to the protein powder I bought. (Never have been allergic to anything in my life.) Which powder do you recommend?

  • When I mean meals, I don’t mean ‘basic’ cooking like proper well thought out dishes, healthy takes on say a bean mix, tacos, cheese etc or theme’d healthy foods; japan, chinese, mexican, italian, the list goes on. (playlist galore!)

    I do want you to grow as a channel, the stuff you make really does make me wanna bake and try it out. Though it seems the variety has died down a little.:) I also appreciate you answering individuals and don’t take my ‘feedback’ as negative, just my 2 cents!

    Back before I bought protien powder, I use to use milk, peanut butter, bannanas, and ice for a “semi-portein shake” if you will.

  • Hi Joshua! I really appreciate your feedback. This video and the others I have edited so far I’ve cut the fast forward music in half and only put it on the clips that are over 1.5 seconds long so there is definitely less of it. Let me know if it helps at all. If you could offer any other suggestion for the silence I’d be open to it as well. I bought a smaller camera to do some fitness stuff/thoughts on the day/grocery shopping so that stuff is coming soon. What else were you thinking?

  • Hey dhfns i think the protien cake is still the best im going to try this. Though i found a great recipe you can make a video on. All you do is make the cake but only cook it so its cooked 3/4 of the way then what u do is u take a spoon and mash the cake real well. then make some instant sugar free chocolate. Layer it so its pudding then the cake then more pudding add some whip cream on top and omg is it good. and the pudding is real low on calories so its still healthy.

  • I really admire your videos and actually try out 3-4 recipes per weekend.

    I’m still holding my thoughts on the speed up music, I’m not sure if it’s me but I find it really cheesy and lowers the ‘quality’ of the video as in it bothers me that much to post about it.

    Once again, great video have you perhaps thought of doing other non-cooking videos?

  • Honestly, you’re protein shake videos are awesome and pretty much a life saver. Even though I always substitute the almond milk for regular or nonfat milk. Maybe you should post the nutrient facts without the milk in it, just because most people probably do substitute it for something else. I know it’d be helpful for me, but it’s just an idea. Either way, pleasee keep the videos coming!

  • I’ve been researching protein shakes for an upcoming bariatric surgery. Your shake ideas look great and I can’t wait to incorporate these recipes into my weight loss and I look forward to trying them and sharing them with my brother-in-law who is having his surgery close to the same time.:)

I’ve had a lot of people ask me for protein shake recipes and although they are fairly common they only take me a few hours to make (with editing) so I figured it couldn’t hurt to make a protein shake playlist on here since they are short videos anyways! I’ll put at least one of these up a week a long with my other recipes.

I like Healthy N Fit (I link it in my description) but I also like Vitacost brand whey (sweetened with stevia), Optimum Nutrition is great, BSN stuff, and a few others.
