  • you have a way of making all your food look so good, it’s 23:09 at night and just settled in, and darn if I’m not hungry for that waffle…. maybe just a bowl of grape nuts and banana will do. please don’t post any more food videos till tomorrow… peace

  • Greetings Waffle Temptress:

My waffle makers have arrived. I have an 8″ Belgian (yes, size does matter) and I got a smaller one, thinking it would be “Eggo” sized. It’s 4″ in diameter!!! Sitting next to each other on the counter it looks like the big one had a small child.

    But seriously…

If I wanted to make waffles without protein powder what would I use in its place?
    Almond flour, Coconut flour???

I’m just not familiar enough with these new ingredients to decide if they would be a good replacement for the protein powder.

Gotta go make dinner…Big Waffle with Eggs and Bacon….YUM!

  • You are leagues ahead of G.Doucette when it comes to the diet game I LOVE EVERYTHING SO FAR tysm for the gift of pleasure and gains

  • WARNING! They are INSANELY DRY. I suggest have massive amounts of syrup on hand or you will be choking to death on these waffles. Still a good option for replacing real mix though. (They are also heavy in your stomach, so two is PLENTY)

  • Just made this. My honest opinion: The pancakes taste alright. I added a bit of vanilla to the batter, but other than that I didn’t change much and it just wasn’t the greatest. The frosting though is very nasty imo. It’s grainy and just doesn’t taste nor feel like frosting. I would just use plain vanilla Greek yogurt or whatever Greek yogurt u like for a topping instead of this frosting. Overall 6/10 wouldn’t make again

  • Just made these for post workout breakfast meal. Definitely not bad. They don’t taste like heaven by any means lol. A little sponge texture. They taste like a “healthier” version should taste I guess u could say. but I’d make them again. Nice change of pace from eggs with spinach and oatmeal haha.

  • I love the faces you make when you give it the first bitenow I’m starving…
My fav would be chocolate pancakes with strawberries on top and sprinkles

I already thought you were a rad but now we are on a new level of Awesome!
Fave pancake has to be classic blueberry with agave syrup! But looking for away around all the sugar from the agave… thanks for the alternate route with the frosting. Beautiful work!

  • These are the most DELICIOUS thing!!! OMG, I am never having regular waffles or pancakes again. Personally I subbed in I can’t believe it’s not butter (light) for butter 1:1 (I’m not keto, I’m low carb after bariatric surgery and have to stay low fat) and didn’t add salt. AMAZINGGGG!!! You don’t even need syrup, they’re so delicious. The only reason you’d need a topping is for moistness, in which case you can try unsweetened apple sauce and dip very sparingly

  • Love the cinnamon crunch flavor and texture in the waffles, does anyone know if the vanilla flavor acts the same way in the waffle mix and taste good? Thanks.

  • Baked pancakes:
    quest PP
Whip egg whites super stiff, Carbonated drink, baking powder, vanilla, sprinkle cinnamon and swirl scoop onto parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake at 300 til super puffy.

  • Why label this a keto recipe if the protein powder contains stuff you shouldn’t have on keto? Good grief, are we going to have to start double-checking your recipes, too?

  • This video made me go buy a waffle iron. Thank you so much. I have been making littlw tweaks to get healthier things in my kids diets. They love them

  • That looks friggin amazing dude!!! My favourite pancakes are tiramisu-themed chocolate espresso pancakes with cinnamon “whipped cream” in between. So good.

  • These look absolutely amazing!!! Will be making these for the wife and I this weekend. I think banana pancakes with a peanut butter frosting would be epic!

Love the videos, keep up the awesome content!!!

  • Another excuse not to go Vegan SMASHED! Order FitQuick Protein Mix at (Not Sponsored)

  • Honestly, strawberry cheesecake pancakes sound preeeeetty amazing! I’d top them with sliced strawberries and maybe some ReddiWip. I never got to try the PES Strawberry Cheesecake protein, but that would be an incredible recipe!:D

  • These are the best. Only thing I would like is for the waffle to be more crispy. I actually put it in my toaster and it was still not crispy. Any suggestions

  • Do you have an alternative to the unsweetened applesauce? Maybe double the greek yogurt amount in lieu of the apple sauce measurement?

  • Made this yesterday, a little too much cream, so it was too thin and spilled out of the sides. That being said, with sugar free syrup, was insanely delicious!!! 5 ✨

  • Hey Zach! I tried a couple times to contact you via DM. But it doesn’t work. This was the problem with other people as well, so could you please search for maitepassow on instagram? And then I will try to send you my message again. This way it worked with others. Because I wanted to let you know that I really enjoy that you share so much of what you’re eating on a daily basis in your instagram stories!! Please keep that and FDOEs here on youtube are always my fav to watch as well!!

  • I really love your recipes!
I think you are going to hit 50k Subs soon, so what do you think about a Special like your famous Cookie Butter or something like it:D

  • Well Zach, you just made my fave pancakes and icing, so I sure do appreciate it! Can’t wait to try to re-create this! I was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease and cannot eat anything high in fat; plus, my doc is trying to get more protein in my diet. It’s just difficult b/c there’s so much I can’t eat. I’m trying to make the stuff you post on here, so I don’t have to be confined to just broth and protein shakes all the time. Ha!!! AND I love the shirt, buddy! Zach and Kelly, just like in the old Saved By The Bell days!!! Keep doing you, I love it!

  • I had pancakes at a restaurant in Wisconsin and they had the most delicious and dangerous pancakes. Chocolate chips with chocolate and peanut butter. They used icing in between them. I could only take a few bites and had to share! But ohhh lawd

  • Do you have a protien powder/nutritional shake powder that does not contain lactose and is free of whey? Both make me get sick. Thank you.

  • Very helpful! My meals are primarily protein to help my female 43 year old mom bod try to be lean and TRY to control the weight gain they say we are supposed to get as women get older. Weight gain, it’s a real struggle! I’ve tried Keto but I found it to be hard on my body, my hormones got kicked up, but still enjoy watching you two in action! I started a rookie channel on protein type meals, sweets and snacks. I mean literally, i just starting it up Look me up! I’m not as good a you two on this YT thing, but I am subscribed, I hope you subscribe with me too:)

  • Lady, i love you..i can have this savoury.. and have “bread” type products…protein..and i need to eat egg and dont always want to..

  • Well that was disappointing! Just tried making it I was jonesing, this thing this tasted like a giant communion wafer with no flavor, well on to the next recipe!

  • I made them & tbh they were sooooooo good. I didn’t think they would be this good but omgggg delicious waffles at homeee & healthy too!

  • I usually love everything y’all make. This was a nope for me. Didn’t like the taste. Love the rest of your recipes but this one is a pass

  • I make chickpea (besan) flour pancakes and waffles, just add some flax seed and whatever else you want. No need to spend the money on premade mixes when a massive bag @ walmart is like $3

  • You TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE person!!!

Now I have to buy a waffle maker! I’ve just started researching Keto and love the fact that it’s real food, but I was a bit put off by no bread(all worship the grain), but then I found a bunch of Keto bread recipes. So, I thought okay. Then you go and post this video of WAFFLES for crying out loud. I love me a waffle with a couple of sunny-side up eggs for breakfast, but I thought I could never have that and stay Keto.

    THANK YOU!!!

eps: I’ve already ordered the Quest Protein powder and TWO waffle makers. A mini-waffle maker and a big Belgian waffle maker. My plan is to cook them on the weekends and freeze them for quick warm up in the toaster.

Love your channel, I’m learning so much!

  • the quest cinnamon protein powder makes them almost taste like french toast.. I made pancakes with this recipe and it was perfect

  • Of it comes out dry couldn’t you theoretically add more wet ingredients like almond milk or milk sub of choice with some melted cream cheese?

  • Holy crap, this actually worked! I’ve tried making keto pancakes but they fall apart and never cooked all the way through. With this protein powder, I was able to make keto pancakes! I added a bit of coconut flower and some erythritol, but they stayed together, AND actually cooked! Thank you for this recipe!!

  • Just tried it this morning, because my girls wanted waffles (they got a traditional mix). I was nicely surprised on how well the batter came together and cooked up on the iron. They were pretty decent, the flavor left much to be desired, but you’re leaving that up to whichever protein powder you use. I had used some Vanilla Vega Plant Protein & Greens that I had on hand, next time I will try the Cookies & Crean powder that I have. Definitely makes for a good butter, unsweetened whipped cream, and pecan delivery system.

  • Just made this waffle. Delicious. I want to mix the powder with a plain one so it’s not as sweet. Other than the sweetness it’s easy and the perfect go to for a Keto munchie.

  • This recipe looks the most fun, other than the Protein Strawberry Pop Tart. Incredible!! And awesome t-shirt of Kelly Kapowski!

  • made this today and this is by far the best keto waffle. I tried using almond and coconut flour and this tops them both! i used the cookies and cream quest and it tasted great. i will definitely grab the cinnamon toast crunch when i run out of cookies and cream!

  • Was enthusiastic about this proteine powder untill i saw that its containes sucralose…. I’m doing keto so that’s a no go for me unfortunately….Also sucralose (E955) is poison when you cook/heat it with.

  • I saw today’s murder she ate and had to make the protein waffles with my new Belgian waffle maker. They were delicious! Love your videos!

  • Holly, I’m an old-time subscriber, vegetarian since 2013 and guess what! I’m going vegan. At least, I’ll do my best! I love your channel so so much! You’ve inspired me to take the hardest step and to be motivated to do the best for the animals, for the planet and last but not the least for me. Please, please, share more macro-friendly vegan recipes! I really need ideas that really work because I’ve never had a success with replacing eggs for flaxseed eggs and stuff like that. I’m good at baking and cooking but the vegan way is a whole new chapter for me and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I’m 100% determined to start learning. The main struggle is with macro-friendly baked stuff cakes, muffins, brownies, etc. I’ll be incredibly happy if you maker more recipe videos. Thank you do much!

  • Thank you!! I can no longer eat almond meal… or seed meal… and I’m keto… so now I’m trying to find some decent protein powder recipes. I’ll give the Quest protein powder a try, that looks interesting!

  • Oh no! I was so excited about this waffle mix until I saw how much the shipping would be. I live in Finland so it would cost $27 to ship it here wich is more than the price of the product itself So nope, not going to purchase that.

I would appreciate it very much if you made a recipe video about how to make this kind of gluten free vegan protein waffles from the scratch. But anyways, thanks for your effort, Holly. You are the best❤

  • I made it today with the same quest protein powder and it was sOooOo GoOoood!!!! Thank you so much for uploading this easy but amazing recipe!!!!

  • Those are the absolute best. I have been using the mozzarella and egg base, BUT these, awww man!!!
I topped them pecans and EXTRA BUTTER. Adding to “fat fast” menu.

  • Hi from Australia, I’ve been watching your YouTube channel for a little while now. I’m only in week 5 and this is the first recipes I’ve tried. Omg soooooo good. Thanks for the great information and recipes, you guys are making it easy for me to do.

  • I have tried these many times, they are always awful. A couple other recipes namely one that included cream cheese and almond flour were worlds better. Higer macros though…so there is that.

  • These look awesome! Our little girls would love these! We bought the funfetti pancake mix.. Maybe some Breakfast for dinner tonight!

  • I made these today. I used quest all purpose powder and I topped my waffle with some almond butter and sugar free syrup. They were very good.

  • You had me at Fun Fettii!! You are making me eat forbidden foods!! Count your Macros and don’t deprive your self!! ❤ I’m boring I like Buttermilk pancakes

  • I see a lot of comments saying this recipe leaves you with grainy, so-so pancakes but I’d say try it for yourself because I just made them and they were delicious

I didn’t follow the recipe 1:1 cause I don’t have a food scale but I used 1 scoop of protein powder:1/4 cup of pancake mix, the rest was sort of eyeballed

And for the glaze I used 1 tbls of powder and added a few drops of vanilla extract

    Delicious recipe, will make again!

  • Could I substitute coconut flour with the oats instead, and perhaps something else for the cottage cheese? (dairy and grains don’t sit well with me!). I really want to try this recipe though; I even have a waffle maker!!

  • Again, for the third time, I will ask how many carbs are in this waffle? Is it Keto friendly? It doesn’t appear to be Keto friendly but I want to be educated.

  • I found u really infuriating. Like its a simple recipe that I still don’t know because u managed to talk sooo much and make it so complicated fucking hell. Got a waffle iron pre heated but after watching you I turned it off

  • I’m super confused. I put a scoop of unflavored protein powder in my soup. I heated it up in the microwave and it clumped up. How does it not clump up in a waffle when cooked? I don’t do keto but I do low carb. I had the gastric sleeve surgery so the recipes are very similar.

  • Macros on the Jiffs fluff are not good girl…there’s nothing good about 11g of fat coming from a topping for our pancakes…lol I don’t know who your dietitian is but I think you should fire him. Great video otherwise:D
