I love your energy! But I made this recipe and they were kind of a disappointment. Not a whole lot of flavor here. I might try remaking and adding more spices to the cheese mix. It’s weird because I thought they were going to taste amazing but they fell flat. Sorry hun!

Alway use sheers to cut off all the head s of your Jalapenos make certain you dig out every seed before you stuff the Jalapenos with sharp cheddar double stuff Thick sharp cheddar
Just finished cooking these! Though in my calorie tracker, it has 153 Cal for a piece. I added a pinch of garlic powder, Parmesan, and cheddar. What cream cheese did you use? The Philadelphia one have 54 cal for a tbsp
Nice recipe, but I wish you had shown how to stuff whole jalapenos. I cleared a bit of space in side using a chopstick, and slid a slice of sharp cheddar in, cut just small enough to fit without splitting open the pepper. Do you have a different method. I suppose you could make a softer cheese mixture and pipe the cheese in-but not sure if that would be a tasty. Love your flour/panko idea-made for very crunchy poppers.
I find that breading them twice is great but I think it’s better to do all of then ounce then letting them sit for a bit before breading again gives me a better crust

You can cut back on spice by scooping the “ribs” (where the seeds are) out and cutting the tips off. Other than that, I’m not sure how else to cut back on spice, sorry.
Gong to make these right now. Went to the store and picked up everything last night. FYI, I’m using 1015 onion minced. Using a Jalapeno and Cheese sausage. May try basting some of them in BBQ Sauce. Thanks for the recipe.

You, my good Lady, are awesome! That recipe is foolproof. I’ve been cooking for years and even grew up in NM but have never made poppers. I am SO making these. My partner has a sensitive tummy and its frustrating when I cook, I like some of my food with a kick, but if he doesn’t want any, then more for me. LoL I like the pickled aspect of the Jalapenos, nice, and the drying, flour and freezing, I never would’ve thought of that, especially the freezing, and it makes total sense. If you ever want my personal recipe for green chili stew please let me know, or anyone else reading my comment. Its quite tasty. Have a great night. Mind hug everyone!

I make my jalapeno poppers with smoked gouda cheese a piece of extra large shrimp on top and wrap it all in bacon I put it on the grill for 45 minutes with an indirect Heat… That’s the best jalapeno popper I’ve ever tasted.
Laugh out loud I have my own little funny story about jalapenos … On Thanksgiving of this year I prepare 20 jalapenos my hand without gloves or oil protection the jalapenos was for my preparation of my holiday feast but anyway needless to say my hands was on fire when I got through chopping on my Herb’s and veggies I tried ice, all vinegar and soap to neutralize the burning but none worked until I talk to my cousin who told me two slice of fresh onion and place on my hands that did the trick
I love jalapeno poppers. You might want to wear latex gloves while handling the cores and seeds. The oil from those are really hot. Bonus tipdon’t touch your face or any other part of your body while coring the seeds. Double bonusdon’t run the seeds through your sink disposal. You’ll understand why if you do.: ) Enjoy!
Hey Vernaz. thanks for the recipe idea. I used coconut flour, isabgol, 2 jalapeno some normal cheese. turned out great. looking forward to more such ideas. always wanted to tell youyou are beauty with creative cooking.

Very nice, thank you or the tips.i like your method better than mine. I always use fresh peppers and have to fry burn the surface skins under a roaster and then put in ice water to loosen the skins for peeling. This is a lot of work, but the flour won’t adhere to a jalapeño skin at all. Never thought about using the canned ones. Can’t wait to give this a try……tomorrow

Nice recipe all is good except for the incredibly annoying background music. Not sure why so many youtubers think it is mandatory to compete with some kind of background crap.
I did the recipe instead of wrapping with bacon I got chicken bacon(I don’t eat pork) and chopped it and mixed it with cream cheese with garlic powder and onion powder and shaved parmesan cheese it was fantastic.
Great idea to use the canned pickled whole peppers! As soon as social-distancing is over, I am going to surprise my family and friends who will be expecting a fresh pepper that are they are used to.
This is the only really good way to make poppers. Cream cheese variants are really something else, imo. These are the real-deal, serve with pepper-jelly, Jalepenos Poppers. Only recipe on YouTube, oddly enough.
What a lovely voice and a great video! Thanks for showing how to make a less spicy version too. I kept trying to buy jalapeno poppers and its like the stores just didnt want to sell the breaded kind anymore. It’s weird
looks incredible i’ve been wanting to make jalapeno poppers for a while! question. can you bake these instead of deep-frying? its not really a “health” thing, i’ve just never deep fried anything. also, can you use this recipe as-is in an air fryer too? if you happen to know let me know. thanks again.
Tried for superbowl turned out perfect for first try. Freezer tip made all the difference. Barely any leaky cheese also I used shredded but added sour cream to clump. I couldn’t form wo. Thanks and I used same brand canned jalepenos seems like being soft helped
Ha.. the funny part is that as I was watching, and planning on making these, I was thinking… “Hmmm I think a have a little bit of sourcream left in the fridge and a half used pkt. of ranch dressing that needs to be used” (that was before your dip at the end)! Thanks for all your videos I always learn alot!:)
My Mom has those same pie pans my whole life, and Apple one too. I don’t know what happened to them. They weren’t in her home when she passed away. My jaw dropped when I seen yours.
I love your voice, needless to say you are such a creative chef. I couldn’t even imagine the keto versions of all our Indian food!! Thanks a ton for making keto easy for us. Love from US.
I just made my own. With cream cheese, pizza blend, cheddar, Monterey jack, mozzarella, Munster, fried onion and bacon stuffed. I am never going to be thin. Oh well, just more of me to love. Lol

Oh Mamà! This is the first time my mouth actually watered and I drooled when looking at the recipe tasting, LOL! Well that is going on my short to do list! I have already decided to make beef enchiladas and refritos for Christmas this year and guess what else is going on the list!
It’s more like haul-a-pain-yos, not hal-a-peen-yos. At first I was like “I have nothing in common with these yahoos that can’t even pronounce what they’re cooking.” But then I saw all the crap piled on top of your microwave, and I was like, “These folks are just like me.”
I was just going to watch the video and leave, but having your brother in the video was super awesome. I’m going to subscribe and check out your other videos.
I love your energy! But I made this recipe and they were kind of a disappointment. Not a whole lot of flavor here. I might try remaking and adding more spices to the cheese mix. It’s weird because I thought they were going to taste amazing but they fell flat. Sorry hun!
I love your Assistant and his entry ( 1:35)… Gosh that was funny. New to channel but the Sous Chef was really a funny addition to this video.
I’ve been on keto for 2wks and lost 11 lbs.. Still learning but gotta say I’m excited to try all or most of your recipe’s.. Thanks for sharing

Alway use sheers to cut off all the head s of your Jalapenos make certain you dig out every seed before you stuff the Jalapenos with sharp cheddar double stuff Thick sharp cheddar
The facial expressions she she couldent help but make while she was describing the sizes she prefers for jalapenos haha ;p 47 sec to 59 sec

Looks delicious, these are on my to-do list, lol at the ending ” cough cough ” and cody coming in saying HI YALL lol.
Thank for the recipe.
I find that breading them twice is great but I think it’s better to do all of then ounce then letting them sit for a bit before breading again gives me a better crust
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your posts! You inspire me to keep working and give great food ideas. This week I hit 100 lbs lost after 44 weeks!! Still have 50 to go but I will get there! Thanks for what you do!!
Suggestion: Consider wearing surgical gloves before handling the peppers. It will keep your hands clean -especially if you have a cut on your hand.
Great video and delicious results!!
I’ll leave the ridges on next time because I had about a 1 out of 10 in the heat department but it was still very tasty!!

Not bad tasting, really…I used Philly herb and garlic cream chees and only half a slice of bacon per half jalapeno.. I
appreciate the recipe! Thanks!

Two hours to Isle of Capri. I guess you’re very near Houston. I go there also because they have $5 blackjack tables. Hello from Richmond. Love the recipe, will give it a try. Mine are much more basic, just cream cheese and bacon. Fiesta is good about carrying the really big jalapeños.

LoL
I like the pickled aspect of the Jalapenos, nice, and the drying, flour and freezing, I never would’ve thought of that, especially the freezing, and it makes total sense. If you ever want my personal recipe for green chili stew please let me know, or anyone else reading my comment. Its quite tasty. Have a great night. Mind hug everyone!

Pro tip, next time pull the stem right off they pop off easy. No need to chop them off and create a hole for the cheese to escape.

I make my jalapeno poppers with smoked gouda cheese a piece of extra large shrimp on top and wrap it all in bacon I put it on the grill for 45 minutes with an indirect Heat… That’s the best jalapeno popper I’ve ever tasted.

Laugh out loud I have my own little funny story about jalapenos …
On Thanksgiving of this year I prepare 20 jalapenos my hand without gloves or oil protection the jalapenos was for my preparation of my holiday feast but anyway needless to say my hands was on fire when I got through chopping on my Herb’s and veggies I tried ice, all vinegar and soap to neutralize the burning but none worked until I talk to my cousin who told me two slice of fresh onion and place on my hands that did the trick

Thank you now I don’t have to go to Jack In The box noMore and deal with that fuken asshole dude in the drive-thru window.
By the way your fuken sexy I wish you cooked for me
I did the recipe instead of wrapping with bacon I got chicken bacon(I don’t eat pork) and chopped it and mixed it with cream cheese with garlic powder and onion powder and shaved parmesan cheese it was fantastic.
You’re the best cook, the best mom, the best wife Ever!! I am simply in
l❤ve
I wish all the best for you and your beloved family
Lol
