  • I made it yesterday. Made doubke batch and baked a little longer. When it came out of the oven I was too excited and took a slice. It was dry. I was disappointed. Nevertheless once cooled I kept in the fridge. Today I took it out and made small slices and put in the jar. I had another slice. To my surprise it was moist and delicious. My kids kept coming for more. It is indeed fudgy. Thank you so much. This will be my go to recipe when my kids want a good fudgy brownies. Taste even better than a non keto brownie. Marvellous!!!!

  • I’m sad because all the healthy recipes have different ingredients that I can’t afford because I’m just a teen with parents that just buy “normal” food

  • Recently started keto and chocolate is my passion and weakness. Made this recipe yesterday. It is so tasty, not going to miss regular bad carbs and sugar loaded brownies.

  • UP @5AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SWEET SEARCH KETO BROWNIE & YOUR RECIPE POPS UP NEW SUBBIE HERE THANKS FOR SHARING…..LET ME SEE WHAT ELSE YOU HAVE

  • Awesome! Great channel! Regards to the family and pareng Noli from tito Bong! Greetings from Chicago! More power to your great channel!

  • I’ve made these a few times, and made a few tweaks to get them to a level of sweetness that’s enjoyable for me.

Instead of using an unsweetened baking bar, I use the Lily’s Dark Baking Bar, which is 55% cacao, and I used 3/4 cup of Sweet Leaf Organic “Better Than Sugar” powdered blend to help reduce crystallization.

These need to be served either cold or close to room temp.

    I hope this helps somebody!

  • Ive only just started Keto, and am really struggling, maybe because I’m also doing it the 7-11 way (one meal at 11 AM, the other at 7 PM). I really want to make some Keto snacks for when I’m tempted to ditch it altogether, and these look great. But I have a Q: why erythritol? why not stevia, or apple sauce, or…? Apart from being keto friendly, is erythritol even safe?

Secondly, can these brownies be frozen and just taken out when a craving hits? Because I’m afraid I’d eat the whole lot in two days if they are just hanging around outside or in the fridge!

  • If its quick to make them people with no portion control will probably just make more hahaha I have bad portion control so I now do omad so my one meal kinda has to be big so it’s all good hahaha

  • I am just new to Keto and Dr Berg’s channel…SOOOOO Happy i found you both. I have got three of my friends onto your channels.
Thank you ever so much to you both. Huge shout out from your AUSTRALIAN FANS

  • I made these today & they were really bad. They looked just like the ones in the video, but they tasted dry & gritty & very bitter. Not sure if I made a mistake somewhere or if this is just a bad recipe.

  • I am not an expert on nutrition but why would one, elimiate sugar from his diet? I mean, your brains runs on carbs, carbs are everywhere in nature, why would one go against something so fundementally basic?

  • Thanks! I will make this for sure. I’m 58 and I can’t wait to meet your daughter! My daughter is 33 and with beautiful tattoos as well. At first I didn’t understand but now I do. I love your family.

  • I think I’m gonna try this today. I keep trying different keto cookie recipes and they are all nasty and end up in the trash! I’m tired of wasting ingredients. No matter what kind I make chocolate, peanut butter, cinnamon…it doesn’t matter they all taste the same, I guess it’s the almond flour, not sure. But these look good. I’ll comment again once I’ve made them. Thanks!

  • Thank you Joe! I’ve made these brownies exactly according to your directions now twice! They taste absolutely phenomenal! Love these brownies! People at work can’t believe they’re Keto! Thanks again!

  • So good! Extremely rich and fudgey. Didn’t have bakers chocolate, so I used 1/4 cup of Lily’s (low carb) dark chocolate chips. I would recommend doing this if you don’t want your brownies to be too rich/bitter as well. Also added in about 1/2 cup of Lily’s semi-sweet chocolate chips to get that double chocolate factor

  • I was extremely hesitant to make these brownies because I thoroughly disliked every keto recipe I’ve tried containing ANY coconut flour! But, the word “fudgy” in the title got my attention, and since we’ve grown tired of the avocado chocolate brownies, I decided to give these a “trial run.”

    One word: AMAZING!!!!!
    1. There is no overpowering coconut taste or aroma.
    2. They don’t taste sugar-free.
    3. They are the consistency of “real” brownies, truly fudgy.
    4. They are DELICIOUS!

Thank you for sharing this recipe!

  • I spent 54$ to get all the ingredients i didn’t make your recipe just one similar i googled. Using almond flour. I had no problem with its texture it just tasted gross. I was extremely depressed. I made it with my 3 yr old grandson and we were so excited only to be disappointed. I will try your recipe in hopes of getting a better brownie. I love your recipes so i have faith. Fingers crossed. Although ingredients similar different measurements.

  • YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY. replaced the erythritol with jaggery(i know it’s not keto) and used two eggs
and it came out delicious!!Thankyou for this recipe.

  • I loved this recipe so much! The only issue I had was it didn’t fluff up as well as yours did, but nonetheless, the taste was so good. Even the kids in the house loved it and I was surprised to see that, considering their taste buds are accustomed to all the sweet carbs!

  • Me, a novice made this and it turned out to be awesome!!!!!!!! It was a little bitter due to stevia, bit I added more almond flour and some keto peanut butter. Thanks

  • I am very disappointed. The chocolate does have carbs and this recipe has a lot of chocolate, even 100% cacao. I started Keto not long ago and I’m trying different things. Please don’t lead people to the wrong path. I like you you two, you are very likable people, and for that makes this very hard to express this I satisfaction.
I wished I didn’t make it. I am interested in staying in keto, not cheating on the side telling myself stories. No thanks!

  • Hi! GREAT VIDEO!
Any chance you know if I can nix the chips and Hershey’s cocoa and soley use organic cacao? If so, I like lankanto monk fruit blend…got a guestimation on how much to use?

  • Hi there,
Just wondering if the almond flour could be replaced with coconut flour, not allergic to almond but can sometimes get an uncomfotable stomach when I eat them.

  • Thank you! Very fudgy and taste nice. But did notice bitter taste after. Dont know why. Would appreciate if anyone knows why. Thanks in advance

  • It’s been a week since I started Keto. I love it. I’ve been searching for a brownie recipe and this looks amazing I can’t wait to try it!

  • I just did one with almond flour and it was crumbly and dry and gave me a scratchy/burny feeling at the back of my throat.
    I’ll try these next!

  • Ive made this today and its delicious… I had 2 pieces with coffee.. I’ve used the exact ingredients and it turned out really good.

  • So first of all bravo bravo bravo! Soooo Fudggggie! Yes! Achievement unlocked! I will enjoy these. Here are some of my thoughts:

I am not keto, I am diabetic. This is my first time using erythritol. So my taste buds may not be adjusted to this as a sweetener but the batter tasted quite bitter to me (revision: after sleeping on it, I think it’s quite possible I didn’t get a level scoop of erythritol in there.I only needed to add about 2 to 3 tablespoons extra erythritol in there to make the batter taste right, so I’m thinking I may have messed up there, but I would still recommend tasting the batter before you bake). So I added some stevia sweetened chocolate chips and a little extra erythritol in the batter. The chocolate chips came out great in there!

Also I must have not have incorporated/melted the butter and baker’s chocolate together well enough. Three-quarters of the way through the baking process I noticed the brownie was swimming in butter. I had to dab it out with a paper towel. I had this experience baking actual fudge once and a professional Baker told me I needed to make sure I really had the butter and chocolate at a good 6-minute rolling boil to make sure it was incorporated.

Otherwise, it’s definitely fudgy, baked perfectly, and is deelish!

    **UPDATE**
I definitely didn’t get a good level scoop of erythritol in there and I guess a little goes a long way with this stuff, so need to make sure get the absolute exact measurements in there, as with all baking LOL. I also tasted these in the morningAnd they are even better! Usually I really prefer baked goods warm from the oven, but these are the other way around! I chopped up a little banana and ate it together with some milk for breakfast. Yes breakfast.

Good job guys, thanks for doing all the work to get this deliciousness in my belly!

  • Tried this and it was delicious! We split it into two servings. I followed this recipe exactly and measured with a scale, but the consistency was way different from what you show here. Way too wet to form into a ball and baking it just made it warm (delicious), but didn’t make it “set” at all. We ended up just scraping it into a bowl and eating with a spoon. Wonder what went wrong?

  • These look Yumz. Looking forwards to the Cardamom ice cream recipe. Cardamom is a great antioxidant, & is really good for you. Chew a pod after a Curry, it aids digestion & freshens breath too.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. Take care & stay safe too everybody. ❤

  • Merci pour cette super recette ✨
i do enjoy my keto brownie with hazelnut or walnut Flour, much more flavours, finest dessert with friends
    Thank you very much ✨✌️

  • I’m doing ADF and fast tomorrow. Lordy! I’m getting my eggs and butter room temperature now! Thank you and can’t wait! Love your channel!

  • I made these and my family loves them.:) My mother who is a very picky eater and has trouble eating almost threw herself out of bed for them. My first time making these they seemed a bit dry. But every time after, they were perfect!

  • I made these and for some reason the butter was bubbling on top of the brownie loaf. I literally had to drain the butter from the pan! The texture was spot on, love that. Why would the butter do that? I followed directions and made sure the eggs were room temp, I even used the same whisking attachment like you did:) I did use stevia drops since I didn’t have erythritol. I thought that could have been the problem but I see another viewer commented that she had to drain the butter too. Should I just let the butter absorb into the brownie as it cools?

  • SCAM!!! like many people here, I follow the recipe with the best ingredients I found and the brownies are very gritty!!!! Taste is ok but texture ewww

  • I’m just starting to learn Spanish. I like Karen’s apron. I think it says “Karen, Queen of the Kitchen” Hard to make out the cursive… I just learned from someone it’s in Italian.

  • I just made these n they dont taste like any brownie I’ve ever had and they have a weird after taste. they r really greasy n soft not squishy at all. idk what I did wrong they r not sweet at all I’m still having cravings

  • There’s no link for the ice cream I thought you said there’d be links below got the one for the brownies but would really like the one for the ice cream please

  • I just had this sudden cravings for brownies and made this. holy molly, so delicious!! I love all your video recipes, short but brilliant! and yummy! (hate to watch a 20 min long for one recipe)

  • Does this taste good? I don’t know how many keto brownies I’ve tried and they weren’t “delicious” inspite how many people save about it

  • The benefits of the keto diet

Supports weight Loss. The keto diet may help a person lose weight.

    Improves acne.

May reduce risk of certain cancers.

    May improve heart health.

    May protect brain function.

    Potentially reduces seizures.

    Improves PCOS symptoms.

  • I didnt have bakers chocolate (all I had was lily’s dark chocolate chips).
So since 2 oz is equal to 1/4 Cup, I heated up 1/4 cup of those choc chips and it still turned out great!

  • Tried these today using almond flour. Thee best brownies I have ever tasted. I added some crushed nuts too. Delicious Thank you so much.

  • The most honest and sincere “keto/low-carb” information on YouTube! You get right to the point, you don’t opine and go on and on like others do. You actually show us, step-by-step, what to do and why! Thank you for showing us how to make your wonderful recipes! Happy Independence Day, Joe!:-)

  • Our state (Florida) just became On lock down and I made a double batch of these amazing brownies for our treat. I really appreciate all the yummy Keto goodness you share! Have a great day Joe

  • So where are you going to find Lily’s semi sweet chocolate morsels? And what about the Almond flour? And I don’t have a food scale either. Plus you didn’t really measure those chocolate morsels/chips. Jeez, maybe Aldis has all of this stuff. I’ve never been there. I’m only on day five of this keto diet. I know I am not crazy about eating all of this fatty stuff. It sure seems dangerous. That said, after five days my weight was down and lower than I have seen it in a long while now. I’ve also been eating only about two meals the last few days. And you could say I was fasting or going a long time between meals. I went all day day until about 6:20 before eating food today. I ate late last night. I can’t remember when now.

  • I just tried this and it was a disaster! Are you sure there are 2 sticks of butter in the ingredients? I thought it was a bit excessive but i stuck to the recipe.
At 45 minutes into the baking all the butter came sizzling to the top and was literally frying the brownies. something is wrong with your recipe

  • I made this today. Followed the recipe to a T. They are dry, and not that good. Something is just missing. Haven’t put my finger on it yet. But they are keto friendly and I’m all for that.

  • Warning the upfront costs to make this if you have none of these ingredients surpasses $15 so… Don’t think “HOLY SHIT IT COSTS $20 TO MAKE KETO BROWNIES?! FUCK THIS DIET!” because the ingredients last awhile and with each serving it’s really more like you’re paying between $2 $4 for each brownie/batch also it provides like a total of like 4+ servings before you gotta go back and get some missing ingredient(s)

  • Joe I tried making someone else’s Keto chocolate cake/brownies and it tasted like I was eating sawdust…I should of just looked for one of your recipes.

  • Thanks for the recipe. I made these yesterday, but replaced the fake sweeteners with dates…definitely fudgy, even more so the next day, but for anyone who thinks they’ll be as sweet as ‘normal’ brownies, no, they are not…I dont mind, I’m more of a dark chocolate (as opposed to milk chocolate) kinda gal, so these fix my cravings…even better with double cream and some berries (w/ the berries the sweetness adjusts itself and is just right). I know you guys are anti-fruit, but Im not. Lucky me.

  • I followed the recipe except for the erythritol, since I could not find any, and substituted for liquid stevia….I was so disappointed with the outcome. They were so bitter and crumbly!:( I was so sad that I had to throw them away.

  • I love your channel. Many mouthwatering recipes and the best is that you put them in simple steps I just would like to know if you can write the recipe using cups and tbs measurements.

  • Guys there’s no suck thing as keto brownies. Now stuck to the fucking diet or find another one because if you want brownies keto ain’t the diet for you

  • You guys are both so amazing! In sooo many ways!
I’m really excited to make this recipe! I haven’t found a good keto brownie recipe that I like yet, and I LOVE brownies! Your recipes always hold up to the standard! Thank you so much! ❤

  • I also struggle with portion control, especially with sweets. So this is good for me. My favorite thing about your videos is they are short and to the point. I do not want to sit through a 10 minute video for a recipe. Thank you.

  • I’m very new to Keto, thus very new to your channel. You have a lot of great recipes & I’m extremely thankful I’ve found ya!. My initial research into Keto is due to a recent,(1 mon ago),diagnosis of type2 diabetes. So while the struggle is real, it’s so much more do able thanks to you. Just wanted to say I appreciate what you do. Thanks

  • I made this and it was yummy, and curbed my sweet craving. I made a chocolate cream cheese ganache to go on the top. I’d also like to add that mine took 25 minutes in my oven at 325, and I used a loaf pan like the one in the video.

  • Help! (: If I make this for the non keto people (family), I wonder how much granulated sweetener I can use to make it good for them? Anyone know? I slip in Truvia and don’t tell them, it’s less sugar. How much sugar do you think, with no drops? Me, I love your keto recipes! I use ez sweet sucralose drops instead of stevia for mine but not their’s

  • Definitely add a sweetener like stevia that you can really taste to fill that sweet tooth. I used the sweetener he mentioned but found them to taste bland so what I did was after they were done and I refrigerated them over night I cut them in half like a sandwich and put some low carb no added sugar peanut butter in like a sandwich. Oh my that did it for flavor. You can use almond butter as well so good.

  • Thanks for making this recipe. My daughter can’t have almond flour, and she was missing out. Now I can make her brownies with coconut flour!!

  • I’m always baffled when people say that there’s no suffering or you can’t tell the difference or there’s nothing you can’t have on Keto. They must have defective taste buds nor care about texture.

  • By the way fat is 9 calories per gram no thanks I’ll do more cardio and eat low sugar carb full high protein stick with a balanced diet fads dont work for long term success

  • Joe Ive tried your Brownie recipe using the coconut flour and my man let me tell you they were amazing! I cant wait to try this one using the almond flour, Great Job as usual!

  • 55 60 min is insane! At thar temp, most was overcooked. Also the butter was too much. Even 1.5 sticks.id say 1 1/4 cause chocolate has fat and so does the coconut

  • Absolutely delicious! I had the Double Chocolate Keto mug cake from Duncan Hines. It was delicious and this tastes just like that! Now I can make my own. The only thing I would do differently is to add the 3/4 T of chocolate chips AFTER all of the other ingredients are added. This way those 2nd chocolate chips don’t melt too soon. I also melt a layer of Lily’s chocolate chips on top. Triple Chocolate Keto Brownie!

  • I cooked it in the oven since my microwave is such low wattage. But I cooked it for around 8-9 minutes. 5 minutes did nothing. But they taste pretty good.

  • Followed recipe to the letter, worked perfectly thank you guys, I’ve been following You guys now and keto for approx 8 mths and
Lost 35 kilos or 77 pounds thank you

  • I bought a ton of Lily’s dark choc chips when bags of them were on sale for $4. I will use those in place of the Baker’s chocolate. I am a chocoholic!

  • an helpful tip you can set the power on your microwave to a lower setting I set mine around 40 percent and it took only 4 min to melt the chocolate and the butter. I could of set it to 60 but you could do this while mixing the wet ingredients.

  • Not everyone avoids almonds and chocolate. I think that’s another conversation. This looks like a great recipe! Thanks for posting.

  • I tried this and it didn’t even work I am so mad I wasted SO MUCH TIME and the goddamn thing wouldn’t turn crumbly and I couldn’t even make them I WASTED SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY FOR NO REASON WHY DIDNT IT WORK

  • Just made these. I was afraid it wouldn’t turn out well because my batter was too runny. However, it baked perfectly. A few tips for non-bakers like me:
I didn’t have bakers chocolate, so I used Lindt 90%. I also used Lakanto monkfruit sweetner instead of Erythritol. I baked mine in a toaster oven which is small but bakes faster. So I only baked it for 33 mins and brought it out of the oven. It was excellent

  • Joe, loving the recipes! I’m sort of keto but find it difficult as I don’t eat meat and lots of keto recipes seem to use it. Any ideas for me?

  • I love the recipes.. and I like ‘Karen and Eric’.. Dr. Berg has the nutritional side of their programming, so I say let Karen have the recipe side of it…

  • Can’t wait to make these:) Thanks a lot.

Any reason you don’t add macros for the recipe? I don’t try recipes unless I know the carb count for each portion size as i log everything I eat:)

  • Fabulous recipes as always! We’ve lost over 80 pounds with the keto and IF diets and hopefully we’ve reversed my hubby’s type 2 diabetes! We’ve started a channel to keep ourselves accountable too!

  • I just made it and I want to leave some data. I think 11 TBsp of cocoa is a bit much. I mean I just got a good sized bag of expensive cocoa and that would have been most of it, so I added only 8 TBsp which I still think is a lot. So cost is high, for not a lot brownies. I used Erythritol instead of Xylitol. There was not enough for a 8 by 8 pan, instead used an 8 by 4 breadpan and brownies are not very thick at that. I cooked at 170 in gas convec oven for 25 minutes. I would love if you give alternate measurements, as measuring TBsp of butter is not easy, but I can weight anything in grams. I used 70 g of butter. We are not all in America. However, they taste fantastic even though I have no keto icecream. Next time I will add chopped almonds.

  • Fantastic video. Very straightforward. Under 3 minute video which is a blessing, nobody wants to watch a 20 min recipe video
The directions are super clear, everything in grams is super super convenient
I don’t see enough comments praising how great this video is. Can’t wait to try the recipe tomorrow!

  • I made it twice…disgusting it is not your recipe but i can not stand the bitter taste of the chocolate..i added a lot of swerve and yet still disgusting and had cakey texture..why make it twice!? Bcuz i am bad at cooking and i thought my 2nd will be better but it was not..both products went to trash right away….
If i stop doing keto it will be just bcuz i want the real sweat chocolate not a fake one i am forcing myself to eat

    Wish i had good result

  • I live alone and can’t dare to make these. They are too scrumptious. I would just eat the whole fricken pan, and end up like John who ate the fat bombs and gained weight.

  • So sad that I can’t make these. Swerve isn’t sold here in Sweden, and they don’t respond when sending them emails. What do you suggest I change it to?

  • Great video and please don’t pay attention to people who have to be negative about your daughter in any way I get tired of those comments and I’m sure you do also!! Thank you for making these videos! I make ice cream pretty often. I use coconut and almond milk as I’m trying to avoid as much dairy as possible so not as creamy as heavy cream, but hey we do what we gotta do!! Looking forward to the recipe for the cardamom one and making these brownies… oh my
