  • Why else do you think certian people types used to lure kids into vehicles with sugar back in the day?

its the same result of offering crack to a basehead, just alot cheaper.

  • Had they not put sugar in basically everything, I’d feel better about enjoy something sugary every now and then, just like alcohol.

  • Let me tell you a real story…….
my friends played a prank on me…. they laid out a stack of lines of white powder on the table and called me. And they said it’s Jacks birthday so we are all doing this, you also do this.
I said, I have never sniffed cocain before. J
They said just do it once and we forget everything.
I did it……… sniffed the whole line, and it was an instant regret, cause that white powder was powdered sugar.

  • Hahaha this fear of sugar is amazing, sugar and refined carbs are not the same thing white sugar is pure energy, refined carbs is sugar with vegatable oils the one thing that stops you effectively burning sugar as energy no wonder we have a health crisis no one actually knows what’s bad for them

  • If sugar releases dopamine and the whole Cascade afterwards why do some people don’t like sugar or sugary food. While others can’t live without it?

  • Put the rats in a normal rat environment where there are plenty of other foods, others rats to play or have sex with, a lot of space to be free in, and then decide what’s more addicting, sugar or cocaine. You will be surprised. Same applies to us humans. The environment has a big say on what genes turn on or off. Always consider the context and background; otherwise this mumbling and jabbering of untruths will produce stupid slogans like ‘the War on Drugs,’ rehab centers that are a waste of money, for the addicts or taxpayers, that is,; social stigma that prevents some from getting a job, because the laws passed by these houses of representatives are not really that wise; and a lot of other tragic consequences. Imprisoned in a corrupt and neurotic society, do not expect a human being to behave very humanely.

  • as i started to eat healthy unprocessed food, i had this huge craving for sweets which i never had when i ate processed meals. That means that they put sugar into everything because you likely get addicted to this processed shit from the supermarket. I start to feel dizzy and unrelaxed without my sweets, its a hell of a drug but nobody realizes it cause they all get it everyday. tbh its actually like nicotine.

  • And fasting resets everything if I did 3 days las summer no food or water then I believe anythings possible it’s possible folks you dont need anything but air to survive and fix your system go to bed for 3 nights n dont consume any fluids for 3 days sugar is a seasonal food for northern climates that’s become a year round food due to importing, the diet you should eat should be based on geographical heritage unless you can find a new baseline for a new diet, but I thank cole Robinson for posting his videos I manned up I did what he said n took things to the extreme fasting focused lifestyle

  • This is a great docu on sugar with clips of the simpsons and everything! I really wanted to show it to my students but theres way too much coke in here! lol!

  • I was addicted to cocain for 2 years… I finally got off and have been off for about 1.5 years, but sugar is sooo hard, especially considering how easy it is to obtain and how commonly it is found in everyday food items

  • I was a Pepsi addict few years back. I drank atleast 500ml everyday without fail for three months. One fine day I switched from Pepsi to chilled buttermilk to cold water. I lost 15 kgs in a few months. Guess all I wanted was something really cold to drink.

  • Well, it probably is, because I feel terrible after eating it but still crave it. XD

I love sweet things, but sugar isn’t really good on my stomach, meaning I have to limit it and not limit it at the same time. Like cake, oh… I don’t like eating it as much as my younger self. (I didn’t have bad stomach problems when I was younger.) I also can’t even eat a chocolate bar without my stomach hurting. At least we have dark chocolate, which is good as well.

  • Idk,when i was a kid i really like sweets. But as i grown up and especialy in the last few years for the most part i feel like i’m a lot less into sugar, especialy when i’m sad, then sugar is definently not helping at all.

  • 3:25 ONLY 25 grams?!? I look at nutrition labels all the time, and it seems to me that about 110 grams is the daily value for a 2,000 calorie diet. Can someone explain this to me?

  • Most kids under 2 years are ADDICTED, along with their SO CALL parents. It just makes your life harder to manage. You have got to set a stander. FIRST thing, start reading the back LABALS of the food you buy. To see how (they) are SCREWING YOU and YOUR LIFE. Your life is a hill can you make to to the top. Is the kid saying I want candy or saying I want heroin, it the same to break. Set a positive stander. If you stop drinking beer, you may start eating ice cream to fill the void. You can improve that by switching to plain yogurt with cinnamon. Wake-up and take back control daily.

  • They should put a warning label on sugar with a skull & cross bones. It is simply in everything. Was at Trader Joe’s today and looking at some smoked salmon. Added sugar and the fish was farm raised. It did not go into my shopping basket. At Whole Foods, they smoke fish right at the seafood counter and needless to say, that was my dinner.

  • Dr.Berg: GoodMorning. I thought it vital to advise that since I have been getting properly educated about insulin production and modified my eating habits and proper measurements of what I am fueling my body with have been phenominal. It has been 2 months. After 1st week you notice the decline in cravings with removal of starch and juices. (No more fatigue). Clear thinking and energy. Also Added an app that notifies me to drink a glass of Water or hour. I thoroughly document the every day investment… in my journal.
    I binged for 2 days (Lays ).
10 days ago! and I noticed the bloating and fatigue you spoke of and more.
    Body ache.
    Thank you.

  • There’s less of a Candy/soda addiction in France. Don’t know why, but most people eat homemade meals at meal times on the table. A normal meal has some veggies and meat/fish/egg.
I’m not addicted to sugar cause I know exactly what I eat. I eat fruit, a piece a cake now and then, some honey in my jogurt. Barely any processed food, that the Key I think. In a way i’m lucky cause this is the way I was educated. And i live in a place where you can easy find fresh local veggies and others quality foods. I have enough money (even though I’m kinda poor) to buy some organic things. Environnement is so important.

  • Ok so let me tell you something interesting
So years ago I would eat waffles for breakfast every day but not just any waffles I would get chocolate chip waffles with serape on it so yeah a lot of sugar in that and after eating that for awhile I got tired of it I was like you know what I’m sick of eating this let’s change it up a bit and so because of that event I kinda lost my sweet tooth I say kinda because I still eat sweets on occasion I just don’t eat it as much as I used to

  • Crave and Hunger aren’t the same thing tho. Crave is your brain telling you that you need something even when you don’t because it’s addictive. Hunger is your body physically telling you to eat or else you’ll die.

  • So technically my dad who dislike sweet stuff but prefers his coffee and chocolate bitter will die in the rule of evolution as he avoids sugar and likes bitter stuff (poison? )

  • That’s because marijuana caused zero deaths a year and health wise it can’t even be compared to cigarettes/alcohol ( by that I mean cigarettes/alcohol separately are like 100x worse then marijuana ) so please shut up and do some research before you say stupid things

  • Dextrose is corn sugar manufactured from cornstarch per CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATION 21CFR184.1857; therefore, glucose (blood sugar) is not dextrose (corn sugar) and dextrose (corn sugar) is not glucose (blood sugar). They may be biochemically identical (Molecular Formula: C6H12O6)]; however, not with regard to their allergenicity; e.g., glucose (blood sugar) cannot provoke an allergic response, whereas dextrose (corn sugar manufactured from cornstarch) can prove fatal to anyone with an IgE-mediated allergy to corn. It is for this reason that IV fluids to which corn sugar (dextrose) has been added are contraindicated for administration to corn-allergic patients

  • I think im allergic to sugar. Everytime I eat any carbs it effects my heart and ibs. Fruits are the worst. I’m on my second day of fasting watching this video helps with pain I am having. Not worried now.

  • Does it have negative effects in health at all? I get the point that it may be addictive, but in my opinion it is not such a big deal.
I eat a lot of processed sugar and I am healthy, so it doesn’t make damage. Of course it is noth the better thing I could eat, but I think that it is not a problem.
Plus, there are Health Services that tell the consumers what is good and what is bad, and they ban the products that harm your bofy. Sugar is not banned, hence it cannot be so bad.
I get your point, I liked the video but I would like to see more sources or real explanations.

  • Idk why but sometimes I don’t like eating sweet. Is it abnormal to not like sweet. I don’t hate sweet but there are many fravors of sweet and I only like some of them but I can’t eat too much sweet or else I get bored and it’s far sooner than the other tastes. It’s that ok?
