  • I’ve replaced all drinks with water for about 6 months now. I used to workout constantly but when the whole pandemic started, I lost my motivation to workout since it had to be at home. I sit around all day and sometimes excercise, and i’ve noticed how I haven’t really put on weight, if not the opposite. Sometimes i’ll feel even skinnier.

  • I used to be 265 pounds, because I loved soda. I gave it up on February, and now I’m 209 pounds. You can still eat ice cream, just give up soda. But not everyday.

  • I drank 10/12 cokes a day for years heavy not obese. Now it’s a gallon of koolaid 1 cup suger daily. Thing is I didn’t eat at all.

  • I’ve only ever drank water…. Except for when I was younger (toddler/baby age) I drank milk, and tried apple juice. But aside from that, I haven’t had a single drink other than what I mentioned before except for water for my whole life. And like other people say, you can’t crave for something you’ve never had.

  • This is so misleading. How is it that God loads sugar into His own products but you never mentione this. Apparently there are 9 spoons of sugar in a can of soda. Have you ever tried to drink coffee with 9 spoons of sugar then you know that is just a lie. For me 2 spoons are best so why can I not taste the difference in a soft drink? Here is what I know.   • Some random guy supposedly drinks only water for a month, and then “discovers” 10 amazing facts that he may or may not have actually experienced. His likelihood of developing heart disease dropped 47% in a month?

    How would anyone know this isn’t a total made up story, with wildly exaggerated or inaccurate “facts”?

    What’s missing from the video are any references to scientific studies that support the claims, no mainstream medical enterprise endorsements (e.g. the Mayo Clinic, Harvard or Stanford Medical Schools, the AMA, my local dog pound, the nurse at someone’s high school), ANYONE.

    My cats drink only water, and they aren’t immune from disease but do you believe this comment about my cats & water just because I posted it “on the Internet”?

    Does it make sense that drinking only water is better for you than, let’s say, bottles of cheap moonshine made from in dirty still? Intuitively that does make sense. Although if the moonshine was high quality…

    But that’s a long way from factual proof about all the claims in the video.

  • The government knows the long term effects of overconsumption of sugary sodas, yet does not place warnings on the can or bottle. Doing so would create upheaval in the companies that profit from the overconsumption. We need to protect ourselves since the government won’t.

  • I stopped drinking any types of carbonated drinks 12 days ago and I felt lightness around my belly and i felt energetic every morning. I used to drink an 8oz of coke every afternoon, but due to my blood sugar problems(suspected type 2 diabetes), I decided to stop drinking these drinks. It is a good one off guide for learning how to stop drinking without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.

    its not soda thats bad but certain chemicals that some companies use.
    if you have a soda stream and your making your own syrups or have a trusted syrup company it wont be bad on your body.
    simple syrups are made simple-its when you put chemicals that are not needed in it that messes the syrup altogether.

  • Addictions start at home. Don’t have Soda at home, you’ll only create an easy access to grab a can and desire more. Only drink 1 can when you go outside to build it off. It will be much easier to get rid of the addiction when you need to get outside and walk/drive all the way to the Supermarket to get it.

  • I lost about 15 lbs in 2 months just from drinking the average amount of water every day and ditching soda. Didnt even exercise that much I’d go on a run every now and then. But most the time I was playing video games or outside playing basketball

  • I’d say it is okay to have a soda every once in a while. I think Soda does a pretty good job in making a person fat, though. On the other hand, water is lovely whenever you are having it with a big meal.

  • I kid you not I was smoking around 70-100 cigs a day and drank around 2liters of coca cola as well. And the fucking soda addiction is harder to break than my cig one. Been smoke free since a year, but soda is way harder to quit for me.

  • Hello I haven’t drank carbonated drinks for about more than a year now and never have I ever tasted alcohol. I can’t really tell any differences but, I’m still continuing to do so just because I hate how it feels like in my throat. So yeah �� just keep living the way the you want!   • I decided to stop, or avoid, other drinks than water. Why? Because I’m afraid of developing diabete or obesity. Like, really afraid. Because in general I already love sugar, I love desserts. I love milk too. Well, I’m slightly overweight, one or two kgs. However, I thought that, maybe drinking water instead of everything else might be good for my body and actually makes me lose weight!

It is a great one off guide for getting rid of a drinking problem minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.

    As per ayurveda, we must drink water on an empty stomach first thing after waking up. This process, known as Ushapan, has several health benefits like toxin elimination, reducing hyperacidity etc.

    One can use copper vessal for drinking water provided it is properly cleaned and maintained.

  • They didn’t mention the high fructose corn syrup in those surgar drinks either that can destroy the metabolism among and other things in the body, it took me losing weight twice to ween off of those drinks for good and now I have no more gaining fat issues just mostly staying away from those surgar drings and drinking much more water.

  • You are drinking candy. That’s what it comes down to. I used to work with a pig that is 400 lbs minimum and offered him $1,000 to stay off soda for a month, and another,$1,000 if he could keep it up for 6 months. He didn’t even try. I picture him waddling over to the soda machine everytime I do a push-up.

  • That is not exactly true Bestie. I used to drink soda all of the time when I was younger. But now at the age of 39. I totally hate the stuff. It is extremely rare that I will drink it. And that is only if it is the only thing available to drink. So far I only drank soda once this year. And that was because it was the only thing available to drink. I mostly prefer the more natural kinds of drinks now. Like ice tea, lemonade, milk, and flavored water. I personally find soda quite disgusting. Especially knowing what it can do to the inside of your body. Soda is like another form of alcohol. If drinking too much alcohol can kill you. So can drinking too much soda.

    My 65 year old step father loves to drink regular Coke. And I told many times about how he should not drink it. Even my mother has told him. Especially by her yelling and screaming at him. But he still refuses to listen to any one. And he is a type 2 diabetic. And plus over 7 years ago he had to have his one heart valve replace with a pig’s valve.   • Drinking too much water however flushes out all the nutrients in the body.Some water is good but don’t overdo it.I see some people drinking 2 gallons of water a day and it’s not necessary unless you’re running the Boston Marathon which only a few people actually do. Lol

  • I wish I could drink 2 or less Mountain Dew a day. I drink 6-10 Mt.Dew. I don’t gain weight so I can probably drink 18 a day and still be anorexic.

  • I can literally go the whole day without eating anything, if I have a few litres of soda. When I go on long bicycle rides, or do any type of tiring activity I literally just have 1-2 lucodazes and that lasts me the whole day

  • I easily get hot when I’m outside, even when it is cold like below zero. I stopped drinking soda for health reasons a couple of month ago since april. I feel less hot when I’m outside, I don’t get sweaty as usual. I lost approximately 6.7 pund (3kg) and will hopefully lose more.

    My stomach felt weird in the beginning and I got more tired. It has even out by now.

  • A good informative video. Anybody who dislikes this article simply doesn’t understand the benefits of what water �� does for our bodies. Think �� about it. Water is good for us since we really are composed mostly of water minus our other vital organs including our skin.   • Yes I totally agree that a smoker and a non smoker who drinks one pop a day are the same thing. That makes so much sense. Filling your mouth nose lungs with toxic carcinogenic smoke on a regular basis has the same effect on the little pieces of Gupta candy in your brain as drinking a Coke. Wow…I see the light.

  • I’m on day 3 of drinking water from trying to quit soda. I am a horrible caffeine addict. I’m trying to only drink water or green tea non sweetened for 30 days, to kick my soda habit. I just really hope I’ll kick it this time… been trying for years.

  • I’m about a week into giving up coca cola, and I’ve never felt fatigue like this ever. I’m absolutely exhausted all the time. I won’t go back, I will push through. Has anyone else had this type of reaction? I got up to 2 litres of coke a day, after drinking it daily for years and my consumption slowly crept up from the odd can to the aforementioned amount. I stopped completely so I guess I should be expecting some symptoms.

  • I’ve been addicted to soda for years then this pandemic came and quarantine happened so i decided to stay healthy and quitted soda. now im already on my 37th day without soda only water. It felt great and i totally removed soda from my system plus you really crave for foods that will actually help your body to stay healthy.

  • I don’t totally agree with this video. It says consuming diet soda creates an increase in insulin. I am not usually hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) except when I quit drinking sodas I experience low blood sugar daily. I’v done it many times switching to water and every time I get low sugar so to me it says even diet sodas have sufficient fake sugars in it to not just “fool” your body to think it’s sugar but it actually is. Why else do I get hypoglycemic? Its not due to change in diet because I’m not on a diet. Just switched to water. Also, I don’t drink coffee, juice, energy drinks just diet pepsi and water.

  • I haven’t had soda since I was 13 I’m 16 now and I’ll never have it again same with any sugar drinks, lollies, chocolates, cakes ect so basically no refined sugar

  • Havent had a drink of soda since September 2019 and I plan on keeping it that way. Once you get past 60 days you dont even feel urges, it only becomes a choice if you want to go back.

  • I was originally 156.7 eating snacks drinking pop literally all the time I stopped drinking soda and now I’m 143.0 I haven’t drank any pop or had any cravings for any kinds of Knick knacks it’s been a month
